JVM
« on: June 04, 2009, 01:36:31 AM »
I think JVM is great, especially when she covers the Haleigh Cummings case.  However, does anyone else notice she is channeling Leather Tuscadaro? Remember her from Happy Days?  :o   She is in desperate need of a makeover!

I appreciate that she covers Haleigh, but I truly can't understand why she and other bitchy ladies want to completely crucify Octomom.  They claim they care about the octuplets, but are determined to destroy their mother.  How can that not affect how the children will be treated.  They criticized her for taking the kids to Disneyland.  How would you feel if you were a child the world thought did not deserve to go to Disneyland?  Or deserve to have new clothes?  I think Octomom is a complete screwball who of course should never have been allowed to have all those kids, but they are here now.  The woman has to figure out how to support them.  She does seem like a survivor, and if she can support them by doing a reality show, more power to her.  I truly don't understand the degree of hatred they have toward her.  They hate her more than they hate Casey Anthony.  As soon as JVM starts her rant about Octomom and shows old clips of the day  she brought the first ones home, I have to turn the channel.  Gloria Allred should mind her own business.  It is obvious she was determined to destroy Octomom from the beginning.  Very ugly.  I am truly baffled.

I cannot believe I just now saw the JVM forum.  Thanks Camille for revving it up!  lol.

I do so agree that JVM is channeling Leather Tuscadero.  I think it was last week she was wearing a little scarf, wearting it to the side, and her hair.  So true.  She can pretty much wear the hair though.

I do like her, and she is passionate but at the same time tries to be fair.  And yes, she allows her guests to speak and be heard.  That's refreshing.  I'm kind of glad that her show isn't repeated except on the weekends, at least where I live.  This way her show is a bit fresher to me.  I wish she'd get back to Haleigh, but I did see a little interview tonight w/ Kim P.  You probably saw it too.  I'm hoping she observes Haleigh tomorrow, as you mentioned elsewhere in general.

Oh, and I do agree, I wish she would just let the Octo-Mom thing DROP at least for awhile!   :D

It was nice of JVM to call and keep Haleigh in the headlines, the irony and sadness that she did tonight's show on two little girls, both named Haleigh, but spelled differently... the "other" Haley gone missing while in the care of her mother and convicted sex offender boyfriend.

Love JVM's show, covering these horrible stories must be so difficult.

I agree.  JVM is one of the *good guys* always covers Haleigh when there is any new, news on her.  Her latest interview with Art about Ron's bloody knuckles was really good and JVM seems to be following the case pretty closely, familiar with most of the players.  I am hoping she will continue to follow Haleigh's case and that it won't go cold.  I tivo her every night, hoping she has a segment on Haleigh, she will not forget about Haleigh and I admire her strongly for that.  Good to know that she follows through to the end with a story and doesn't just drop it like so many other news programs do.  Was she the only one to pick up Art's story about Ron's bloody knuckles? I have searched the internet and have not found one other news station covering that tidbit of information, which I find highly baffling as even the local stations/papers aren't covering that.  I've got to wonder why that is? Bottom line, thankfully JVM is seeing it through and hopefully will do so until Haleigh is found.

Art, I have to ask what's up with these Mother's? Have they lost there minds, is it drugs, what? what kind of Mother we have been seeing lately does the things these women are doing. Then when they get caught they want to cover there butts. I personally, don't think they even deserve a trial. There child had no chance or no say in there Mother's care. Why should they get a second chance.
Thanks, Art.

Jane seems to be very passionate about these missing and *banned word*ed children. I do wish she wouldn't spend so much time on these stars whenever their names pop up in the news, but after all she's a reporter.
I am also very concerned about all the children going missing and most end up dead lately. It's heartbreaking. And these mothers!! What are they thinking??
Art, you and Jane are just about the only ones who we are getting any news about Haleigh C. Nancy quit covering that story a while back. So, thank you both!!

I like watching Jane's show, but to be perfectly honest I am really getting tired of hearing her talk about her sobriety.  Don't get me wrong - I think it's WONDERFUL; but I don't want to be reminded every segment that she has a new book titled I Want which has some shocking details that I won't believe... the way the world is today, I'll believe just about anything ;)
It's wawa...CHEEwawa 007!

I love to watch her show. But I don`t like it when she bashes Japanese thinking they all Japanese  go out and hunt whales I am Japanese American I don`t hunt whales It hurt she would be bashing  a single race for what they do other country I am for her war on women campaign. I love that she when she does a story about something She gives both side to respond to tell their side of the story.
