Van der Sloot attorney quits

Poor, poor Joran!

When you're standing at the gate, and you ask the question, "why?", how will you feel when you hear the reply?

The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.

Thanks for putting this thread up Spunky.

At the very end of NG tonight she was reporting that Peru and Arubian officials are planning to meet tomorrow.  Don't know if this is confirmed or exactly what they would discuss in relation to Van der Sloot.

I see that Tim Miller is in Aruba with Natalee's Dad.
Having Tim there gives me a small amount of engouragement that maybe just maybe Joran will really tell where Natalee's body is.
Surely,he knows it's over,he's busted, end of the line for him and his sick life.
It is a total mind blower that he has gotten away with so much for so long.

What a wuss to whine he is scared. Scared??? I wonder what he thinks Natalee and Stephany must have felt fighting for there life and  they are innocent. He deserves everything and more. I hope they can keep him alive long enough to really find Natalee. After that I say let the inmates handle him.

I also see that this atty. dropped his sorry sick ass.

IMO..  IF if if.. JVDS is a psychopath, then I believe that atm, he is not scared as such or suffering from depression.. as a non-psychopath would know those emotions to be.

The lights are on but no one is home...... would fit better imo... I believe there is a huge possibility that he is still working a strategy at this point.. what ever will pay off for him, or work to his advantage..

section from...Dimensions of Depression and Psychopathy in Psychiatric Inpatients

and C. Don Morgan

University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita

" Occasionally, one may hear of “jail house depression” in psychopaths who have been incarcerated, but it is generally believed that indications of depression reflect a transitory discomfort at being deprived of freedom and it is expected that the depression will resolve as soon as the prisoner is released. Good Morning,Jaycee
You right. Joran is working a deal for HIM. It has nothing to do to help Beth or Natalee. I'm hoping Aruba does not want him. Hopefully, they can convince him to tell where Natalee is and then let him know they don't want him.
After all,he has played that game more than once with Beth.
I say after trail let the inmates handle him. It will open cell for another sick POS.

Good morning all. Thank you for the new thread.

It is fascinating to watch this guy spin his tales.  When I first heard his confession it was clear to me that he'd given it a great deal of thought. His father taught him well. Unfortunately for him this time around the physical evidence tells a completely different story.

As much as I want to see justice for Natalie I sure hope that Peru does not make a deal with Aruba. He needs to stay in prison in Peru and hopefully serve a 35 year sentence. I'd hate to see him end up in a jail in Holland.

I don't think he'll divulge anything in the Natalie case unless there is something in it for him. Hopefully the Halloways wont be drawn into his ruse this time.

Wasn't there supposed to be a telephone conference today between Aruba LE and Peru LE. Has anyone seen any news on that?  I don't understand why the Halloway family members, Tim Miller etc are in Aruba.  I don't think anyone can pressure LE there to do anything. The answers rest with Joran, the Kalpo brothers, and the previous Chief of Police who I believe is now living in Holland.  It just seems so cruel to put the Halloway family through this again.

I think the Holloways are willing to go there again and hope that just maybe Joran will tell the truth. It's certainly not this has been a case where normally the m u r d e r e d doesn't stay in contact with his victim family. That crap is down right creppy.
If I was Beth I'd do the same thing as many times as I had too if it meant that she could possibly bring her daug. home.
Beth has done the ultimate of trying to find her daug. There are other families that should take note.

I do not believe that Stephany slapped Joran after the so called online message. I would think she would try to get out of there.

Note in this link that Joran says she slapped in the face then further down he says she hit him in the head.
