LE doesn't appear to be making any headway at all in this case. It is time to bring in fresh eyes to review the case and hopefully find something which will lead to Haleigh.


Here's the excerpt from the Florida Sentencing Laws:


A judge may depart downward from a mandatory sentence in only two circumstances: when a defendant is sentenced as a youthful offender, or when a judge approves the state's motion to reduce or suspend a sentence based upon the defendant providing "substantial assistance" in connection to another case. The State Attorney's Office has the authority to waive a mandatory minimum or amend a charge.

Wasn't Donna complaining about her attorney to her boyfriend?  I looked up an attorney in their local area with the same name as the attorney on her docket.  I'm wondering if she was assigned a PD in the beginning and now has better representation.


It seems it's only this crew that LE is enforcing the strict guidlines.
If they were that strict I would think Ron and Tommy both should have been in jail before as well.
