ST. LOUIS (Sept. 5) - A boy allegedly abducted in a custody dispute nearly two years ago has turned up alive, hiding with his mother in a small, specially built secret room at his grandmother's Illinois home, investigators said.

Hey Lindy, I watched the video.  Powerful message, ppl need to pay attention and listen and it's so easy to not do the right thing when we're looking the other way.

It must have been one heck of a surprise when LE "dropped in" one day to visit and found that hidden room. That poor child, to have been put through that for two years.... being held prisoner and not let outside. So, glad that he is back with Dad again. It does make me wonder how many other "lost' children there are being held captive somewhere. :'(

And, I pray that the wheels are in motion, and something will happen in this case, soon.  Not exactly holding my breath but praying nontheless.

I agree.  However, I'd much rather find out that someone has Haleigh safe and sound than the alternative!!  Either way, it's heartbreaking. 

Scorps, can we do a candle for the "unknown lost children," much like the "unknown soldier?"

Sure, don't see why not.  Maybe we should just call it "lost children".  Do you guys think this makes sense?

I started to set up a candle group site, and only 5 letters can be used to name the site.  I'm not that creative, all I could come up with is:

Child....anyone have some ideas to name the site using 5 letters?

Well, Gunny looks for missing children and that is 5 letters
There is also hope which is 4 letters
