When you're standing at the gate, and you ask the question, "why?", how will you feel when you hear the reply?

You know. I wish we had the same local reporters that are high profile in certain cases in this case. I understand Art is extremely busy so he cant report on this case as often as we would all like. But for instance, K Belich(sp) in the Anthony case, shes all over it and just keeps going to keep it in the news. In the D Peterson case there is a reporter that keeps it going. And so on and so forth. But it does seem to lack here in this case. It makes me wonder why. Is it because of demographics? No, FL is high profile all the time. Is it because its of the players in this case not being forth coming?

Anyone have an opinion on this?

My thoughts are with all the peripheral players in this case made media back off.  At times so many rumors were flying around you didn't know what to believe.  Also, with LE not saying much there really wasn't anything for the press to write about that could be confirmed as fact.

Just my thoughts.

Small town, not close to anything.  Matt Saffer and Jessica Clarkhas been covering it quite a bit, as have Cathi Carson, and Ilyssa Trussel.  As they all work in Jacksonville, and there are no local stations in the Satsuma area (that I'm aware of), I'd say logistics has a lot to do with it.  Plus which, there hasn't been a lot of movement on this case as of late, until this week, that is.  Even her birthday didn't generate what I think it really could/should have.

You're right...there's seemingly been a virtual lockdown on the release of information in this case.  Short of showing up in Satsuma to get a shot of the reporter saying "there's still no news in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings," what could they possibly report?  Most of the antics that have gone on in this case haven't been verifiable, as you said, which makes them non-news worthy to a reporter with a vetted news outlet.

That's my point. a few reporters are able to get to the facts. They are good at their trade. The majority, not so much. But the good ones are willing to stick their neck out so to speak and expose the facts. Its a hard road to hoe, but the ones that are true to the trade will stick with it to the very end, and even jeopardize their reputation along the way.The ones that do are true sleuthers.

I remember a week or maybe longer when Simon had T.J. on a showw during the week.

T.J. was saying he was waiting on a 4th source to break some news. I've wondered now,if that was the news he was aware of.
Im talking about the LDT'S and the other tests that Misty took and "failed miserably"

hmmmm, it does seem like a 3 to 4 day span before anything breaks. There is a tip off and we all
tend to read into it, grasping for straws, no matter who delivers the news. I dont listen to the show nor do I read the site(I wait for some one like you to interpret it for me) I know bad....

and ty  btw

But it also seems like a tip off is about to happen and its hard to decifer whether or not its for publicity of one's site or to deliver up to date news. I frankly get tired of it.
