Hillary Clinton …. and the Mansion Madam?
Just look at who Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky is inspiring these days…And Thursday night, Jay Leno had the Tonight Show band play the Rocky theme song as the former First Lady sashayed onto the set … a little good-natured ribbing of the former First Lady for entering Rocky Rehab.
Down in delegate count, down in the polls, Hillary embraces America’s underdog icon…casting herself as The Contender, maybe down for the count, but not out of the fight? Right. Read the rest of this entry »

In a new Bald Truth feature, we’re inviting remarks now and then from colorful players on all sides of cases we cover.
We got this idea when reading a colorful, e mail sobriquet from one of our new and faithful readers, John Nazarian, billed as “private eye to the stars.” An ex-San Francisco cop, he tells us he signed on to protect Howard K. Stern from what he calls vicious, greed-motivated attacks by Team Virgie.
It’s a media ratings war, that’s gone nuclear, with mega-lawyers, cable rivals, and, now, dueling PIs in the trenches like JS. So we asked him how he feels about his rival, Don Clark, ex-G Man from Houston. Read the rest of this entry »

Lawrenceville, Ga., Sept. 23–Accused “Mansion Madam” Lisa Taylor, awaiting trial for allegedly running a brothel out of her million dollar home in this conservative Atlanta suburb, is behind bars again, charged with felony drug possession after a patrol officer pulled over a truck she was riding in Friday and found tranquilizers, an anti-depressant and cocaine. She did not appear at a magistrate’s hearing Sunday morning inside the Gwinnett County Detention Center, where a judge denied her bond request and set October 3 in Superior court as a date when he can ask again. Her attorney, Max Richardson, said she would plead not guilty, and prepared to fight what he expects will be a request from the Gwinnett County district attorney to have her $27,000 bond revovoked in the brothel case, which also include drug possession charges.Housed in the medical unit, Taylor was also fighting a jailhouse move to shave her head over hair extensions some considered a “security risk,” But Richardson insisted a shaved head would irreparably harm her entertainment career as a “dancer,” and the judge barred the jailhouse makeover for now.

The Insider broke my exclusive interview and house tour with Melissa Wolf, aka The Mansion Madam, on it’s new Atlanta affiliate, WXIA, aka, “11 Alive,” Thursday at 7:30 p.m., with part 2 airing TONIGHT, Friday, Sept. 14 at 7:30.
After Wolf was busted in January, charged with prostitution, running a brothel, illicit drugs and racketeering, the 43 year old “desperate housewife” and ex-Penthouse Pet, now mid-divorce from husband #2, says she lost her real estate job in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and had no choice but to take feather boas out of mothballs, and hit the road again, to prance across stages from Columbus, Ga. to Canada and pick up her former career as a featured stripper.
Honey, go hide the kids!
