While FOX News is promoting Howard K. Stern’s live Tuesday night interview with Greta Van Susteren as “shocking” before the first word has been uttered, perhaps the biggest shock of all is that Anna Nicole Smith’s lawyer and longtime companion accepted an invite to go on a talk show he’s declined until now.

Many of his critics have grown uncharacteristically silent, or at least subdued, since the Bahamas inquest jury into the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel, last week ruled the 20 year old with a history of depression and drug issues, died of an accidental drug overdose that Stern, nor anyone else, had anything to do with. A day after offering a call girl-rocker-MySpace queen Ashley Alexander Dupre $1 million to do a Girls Gone Wild video and tell her x-rated side of the scandal that brought down Gov. Elliot Spitzer, GGW yanked its offer.

Joran van der Sloot, once a suspect in the Natalie Holloway vanishing, says the missing Alabama cheerleader fell unconscious after they had sex on an Aruban beach, and a friend dumped her body at sea.

But he feels no remorse, according to our translation of a Dutch TV sting that aired Sunday night in Holland. “I haven’t lost one night’s sleep over it,” he tells an undercover reporter.

Three years after the blond teenager went missing on a high school senior trip, a hidden camera for Dutch television captured Joran’s casual conversation on a videotape we had translated into English late Sunday.
