We’re off to see old friends on the political trail in Denver for the Democratic Convention and eager to see if the mile high drama gives Sen. Obama a boost in the polls, narrowing recently between him and Sen. John McCain.
Keep an eye on ET and The Insider, for our behind the scenes reports, and when we can blog, we will.

The attorney for James Brown II says a DNA test confirms James Brown fathered the son of a woman who claims to be the singer’s widow. The attorney says that the 6-year-old boy was tested in April, before the paternity test was ordered by a judge. “If that was James Brown’s bone we tested, that’s James Brown’s kid,” says Robert Archer, PhD, director of Genetic Identity labs of Eugene, OR. Obama-Hillary, Rev. Wrightâs controversy, the flailing economy and Iraq all took a backseat to what appeared to be a Paula Abdul meltdown on America Idol Tuesday night, the countryâs most popular television show, and sent Hollywood reporters scrambling to crack the mystery of the superstar singerâs mis-speaks judging contestants.
But celebrity judge Abdul says last minute format changes not only confused her, but also unsettled host Ryan Seacrest, and fellow judges Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell, and re-opened the door for rumors sheâd been drinking or taking prescription drugs for chronic back pain from a plane crash 12 years ago.
