And the band played on, what is going on? I am probably more confused now as to the criminal justice system than when I started my career many years ago!
Now I know that the system is good, and for the most part works. The prosecutors on this case are right on top of their game and seldom if ever miss a beat!

This Easter Holiday weekend, I was reflecting on the events of the last two weeks, and wondering whether if I were in trouble, in litigation as a defendant or lawyer, what would I do? I was baptized a Catholic and did attend as a child, and spent years in churches as an adult working as an embalmer, so I have been places where Jesus should have been hanging out!
Some pray, and others go reach for their cellphone and call their lawyers for help. Praying can be cheaper, but for the rich? A day after offering a call girl-rocker-MySpace queen Ashley Alexander Dupre $1 million to do a Girls Gone Wild video and tell her x-rated side of the scandal that brought down Gov. Elliot Spitzer, GGW yanked its offer.
