Hank Croslin, Sr. Warns Misty: don’t talk to “that sumbitch, Art Harris”

Misty Croslin made our day when we heard her plug The Bald Truth in the recent batch of shocking video lock-up tapes released by the St. John’s County Jail, where she’s being held on drug trafficking charges pending a June 6 court date. We talk about the tapes on The Nancy Grace Show tonight on HLN at 8 and 10 p.m., est, so please tune in.
On this family visit, her father, Hank Croslin, Sr. warns his daughter to stop talking to “that sumbitch, Art Harris,” and any relatives we may be talking with because “he lies, and makes up sh– to get on Nancy Grace,” like something he reports that an obviously whacked out blogger erroneously or on purpose tells him we reported that we never did –that his daughter had engaged in “lesbian” activities with one time mentor and undercover Mama Donna Brock, one of her accused co-conspirator on drug trafficking charges.
Hank, we can reassure you we’ve never written any such thing. Misty’s sex life is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay down on our list, unless it can shed light on her activities leading up to the night she reported Haleigh Cummings had vanished.
We did, in fact, report exclusively about her three wild days in Feb., 2009 of sex, drugs and revenge romance with “White Boy” Greg Paige, after her then boyfriend, Ronald Cummings, beat her up and kicked her to the curb, suspecting she was pregnant with someone else’s baby.
That’s what her party friend, Kristina Nay Nay Prevatt, told us in another interview you can watch that ran on The Bald Truth in March, 2009, along with the WBG sitdown, and that when she decided to go back to him, and snuck in a call, he instructed her to bring condoms.
Maybe that’s more than you wanted to know, but we just wanted to set the record straight for Hank. So, we hope that this blogger, Deb, whoever she is, will please issue a retraction and an apology and to Hank, who happens to also reveal to Misty that Putnam County Detective Peggy Cone, the lead investigator on the Haleigh case, paid him a visit to ask about an old jail murder theory the surfaced in one of the notorious Nay Nay letters from jail.
You recall the scenario she claims cops said they’d gotten from another jail inmate, that Haleigh OD’d on drugs at the house and she and WBG put her in a plastic bag and dumped her in a pond–a pond that was drained and revealed no body. Misty replies that’s wrong and trashes that rumor, too.
Perhaps we should remind Hank we’ve always been open to his comments in defense of his daughter and his take on police behaviour when we spoke, even when he doubted she was telling the truth about revealing everything she knew about what happened to Haleigh, and in these tapes, again, he continues to urge Misty to give it up, be honest, that Haleigh’s parents need closure, deserve closure, and how much he loved the little girl.
Misty replies she’s told it all, everything she knows, and that investigators keep pressuring her, even putting things in her head that may not be true.
In fact, she says she now wonders if she came up with the cousin Joe did it angle, or if cops may have put it in her head.
Her father warns her not to make up things, that it will get her in more trouble, especially after all the polygraphs she’s failed.
Misty does express anger, though, that we reported exclusively she’d flunked a secret police poly on Feb. 26 she says no one was supposed to know about.
As for coming clean, her lawyer, Robert Fields, told The Bald Truth in an exclusive interview Wednesday that his client revealed to police everything she knew in detail — the same story she’s telling now — within hours of her drug trafficking arrest, and that they asked her to keep it quiet.
As for the Misty-Donna sex angle, we may have mentioned a story our friend, Steph Watts, broke on his newsblog, that computers seized from Brock’s apartment revealed ads she’d put on Craig’s list offering escort services, including two women, presumably her and Croslin.

i wanted to hear what Misty had said about praying to God (something in those words) i think u said she was talking to a neighbor and Nancy did NOT wanna hear it. well i wanted to hear it and I’m sure others did too. just from listening to the tapes and even when Misty was out of jail she would talk about god so i don’t think shes mentioning god just because shes in jail like others do. AND i also believe what Misty is saying about the cops. they do try to put words in your mouth , they make you nervous , they twist your words around ETC..shes right about that.but once again Misty knows something but she didn’t kill Haleigh . i just wish she would stick to one story . shes driving her dad crazy as well. I’m glad she finally realized how Ronald is. he did want a babysitter . Ronald’s X said she could tell when Ron is really crying or fake crying and she said he did lots of fake crying.yes he loves his daughter and wants her back but why fake cry? he also hit his X and I’m sure he did the same to Misty. yes I’m kind of sticking up for Misty in some ways especially when it comes to Ron . he took away her teenage years and he should have found someone his own damn age. but everyone has to remember that this case is about the drugs and not Haleigh. these people are not some hardcore dealers . not at all.

Tonight on NG when Misty started to speak about how Ronald used her, I thought it was interesting how she said she called and called him and he just showed up (this in response to Hank asking if he was at work or something to that effect). Can’t remember because Miss Know It All butted in. I swear I can barely stomach to watch NG’s program anymore. She is getting way too snotty to her “guests” for me.

Hank is coming down on Misty to tell the truth, but why wasn’t he doing this when it first happened? He acts afraid to ask questions of Misty and Tommy..I think he was too easy on them all of their lives. They were allowed to lie from an early age. I don’t see the strong parenting there when he talks to her on the phone..It was shocking to hear Misty admit Ron used her..I can’t imagine the G’Ma and GG G’ma not wanting to babysit such a precious child as Haleigh. Misty was a teenager. She didn’t want to be bothered with b’sitting 24/7, and I can’t blame her..To be with a man almost ten years older with two kids was also wrong..IMO There’s enough blame to go around in that family, and none of them can claim total innocence. The “letter” has no significance..If it did, Chelsey wouldn’t be trying to sell it so cheap..IMO

It’s about time someone challenge these morons who seem to think they’re on stage. They can lie about themselves & each other, but they can’t slander other’s…and using the jail survielance to do it. They should lose their phone & jail visits. Lindsy texts while visiting, they both use three way calling to complain & beat the system. They’re the victims, yet even in jail, they can’t follow the rules. They’re openly talking about it & laughing, thinking they’re getting away with…what? Murder? Now Misty is writing letters…THUD…what an idea. If they can’t get free cars & donations, they can sell Misty’s letters. Yeah..each & every one of these people loved Haleigh like their own. They’ve all helped so damn much & trashed everyone in sight, but they don’t answer the question…where is Haleigh? Misty & Tommy are in for a rude awakening when they tell the Judge how willing they are to agree to house arrest. LOL. Three yrs? Twenty five yrs? IMO..they still have no idea they aren’t going anywhere. This isn’t Tommy’s ticket out…they clearly aren’t helping & don’t care about anyone but themselves. The state of Florida is to blame for the Croslin’s being set up. It takes alot of nerve to talk shit & say you provided for your kids & gave them the best of everything, when they can’t read or write. The education was free. They raised themselves & now have to take care of their parents who can’t support their own habits. Hank always wanted to work with kids, that was his dream. LP gave him a car & a place to live & he complains no one else will rent to him..yet complains he has no money for fines, etc..so wouldn’t be able to afford the rent anyway. As much as he runs his mouth, you’d think he’d thank LP a few times for that car he left the keys in, in that bad neighborhood. Right. Yeah, those jail camera’s are being used to put out names & phone number’s etc..maybe someone needs to write the Govenor about fixing that problem. Hank needs to clean his own house before he trashes other’s IMO.

Well, I hope Debbie from the internet, tells Hank this as, sadly, even if he had access to a computer, he cannot read. Or write. I believe he is trying his best, without losing it, to get Misty to talk or tell the truth. How some people are convinced that Ronald got her to talk, is beyond me. Do you, Art, think that she has told Ronald more than she has told the police? Perhaps at this point, a month after these tapes, she has told LE more? Doesn’t appear that way, though.

Awww…Don’t worry Art…No doubt here. If you were lying, they’d have flown to the nearest courthouse w/a good attorney to sue for more than $3,000.00.
As for the assorted variety of life Misty may or may not have had-You are right-Who Cares! Except we already heard about the 3 way twister with another person of questionable character and we have seen the pics w/Brock that sort of allude to what might have been going on. Heck, didn’t Croslin Sr. already know Misty was going w/Ronald when she was only 16? Weren’t they playing Let’s Hide the Canoli?
Did you happen to see the IReport on the CNN site? It isn’t there now, but is on another site ScaredMonkeys. Any thoughts or comments on that big bit of information?

In the jail video on Nancy Grace tonight Misty in a way has cleared Ronald by stating that Ron pressured her to tell him what happened to Haleigh! This tells me that Ron has no involvement IF she is really telling the truth! I really had hoped that Ron had no part in her disapperance! Now tell the whole truth Misty!

Was this tape before or after Misty called Flora saying Joe and Tommy took Haleigh to the river? Why does Tommy say he wasn’t there that night but knew where to take LE to the river? Then, wasn’t it Misty who said she thought it was the wrong dock? Can’t believe a word she says. Misty sure perked up when she heard about the letter didn’t she? She has to know LE reads them. When talking about Tommy being, mad at her she tells Hank she’s going to keep writing and tell Tommy to keep writing. Is Hank passing messages in the tapes? Misty was sure backpeddling, blaming everything she has said about Tommy and Joe on LE when she was confronted by Hank. She never takes responsibilty, not even for her own words. Are we ever going to hear exactly what’s in the letter? It has been talked about but no details. With hours of tape i was a bit disappointed we saw so many repeat clips, sure wish we could see what you guys do. As a regular poster i can say with certainty Misty has never been called a lesbian here, that is a fact.

I am amazed that ACLU lawyers have not entered this case since a whole family has had their rights trampled on by LE and media. They have been made out as monsters, kept from getting work and put out on the street homeless. Waiting until Misty turned 18 and set up the drug sting. Now they will talk her into taking a plea deal for half her life just so they can be justified in their crucifixtion. This is USA, some top notch investigators and lawyers should look into guilty until proven innocent to any one of us if a few chosen gossip columists twists and turns and puts words into the mouth of not one but a whole family, than there but by the Grace of God go I or any one of you.

Just another observation Art, i thought i heard Misty tell her father she tried to call Ronald quite a few times that night. Does LE have phone records to verify it? That is the exact opposite of what Ronald said, should be easy enough to prove which one or both are lying. As usual when NG discusses this case on her show i always watch twice to catch anything that went by too quickly or things i may have missed. Now i will listen specifically for that part of the tape, will be on again in a while. I thought you raised a good point about her comments to the neighbor because it goes back to her state of mind at the time and her anger and frustration at “having to” babysit AGAIN. We are starting to get a clearer picture of her temperment back then. She was not only tired, but plain old sick and tired of babysitting everyone’s kids. Very short fuse when added to her fights with Ronald. I’m in no way ready to rule out Tommy and Joe, Misty didn’t go out on foot in the dark and hide Haleigh’s body by herself so good that searchers never found a trace of anything. Sounds to me like now she thinks RC had been using her so now she insinuates HE was involved. Says she tried to call him many times with no answer but when she opened the door he was standing there…what a bunch of BS…imo of course.

Art, Saw you tonight, had to record it due to American Idol but thank goodness for DVR’s….OMG this case gets more and more bizzare….I have thought all along that Ron was innocent but I am having second thoughts. I now think he did use her(Misty) I think that he owed money to somebody they (the people he owed money) told him pay up or we will get you.. They came in Misty was asleep along with the kids and they took Haliegh and told him(Ron)they took her…At that time he didn’t want to let his drug dealings be known…He let it all fall on Misty “How could you let my child get stole b****” He knew…Remember when Geraldo ask Ron about the guys that told him (Geraldo)that Ron had told them he(Ron)knew who took Haliegh and Ron denied it? He let Misty go thru all this to cover up his drug dealing and drug use and Misty went along with it…She probally doesn’t know exactly who it is that took her…He(Ron)has been a drug addict long before Misty was even in the picture…Where all this other stuff came from is probally Ron talking to the cops blaming Misty, Tommy and Joe I don’t know but Ron is a drug addict and I think he didn’t want the truth to come out about him and he let his baby die instead of telling the truth. I really really think this…

No one w/ 1/2 a brain -not even the Croslins,for pete’s sake- would trust anyone who sits w/ her and listens to her twist EVERYONES words. We’ve all heard her do it, over and over again. I always thought you were better than that and expected you to distance yourself.I even stopped checking this site for a while.You stated above that Misty’s sex life was far down on your list and then proceeded to mention everything you’ve reported about her sex life! Truth–
It was one of those moments when you are interviewing someone and what they say hits you between the eyes. I don’t think Nancy understood the gravity or the abrupt way Misty blurted it out, according to the neighbor, and that it was so uncharacteristic of her, it stuck with him, until he shared it with me for the first time. What I didn’t get a chance to report was that my sources close to the investigation were all ears, even eager to hear that nugget, telling me they had not yet interviewed the neighbor or heard what could be used to show motive–that she was a tired babysitter and resented it. This was said he recalled a couple months before Haleigh vanished, that she was tired of taking care of other’s kids. Then the neighbor told me she just blurted out a request that he pray for her. He told her he didn’t go to church much so probably was not the right guy to ask.
When I shared it with someone close to the investigation, I was told that comment could be used to show some sort of motive that may sound simplisitic, but still make sense.
Now we have her saying it again on tape, admitting she now feels used and resenting how she says Ronald and his family took advantage of her. Art

This article is so offensive that I am ALMOST speechless. I had to go back and read it a second time to make sure I understood that it was in fact a response/rebuttal correct a misinformed statement made by a family member of a missing child.
This article is condescending, arrogant, and distasteful.
Had a member of the Holloway family or Smart family mad a similarly misinformed statement, would you have had the same haughty response?
Your not a “whacked out blogger”, your a journalist, an investigative reporter, doesn’t that indicate that you adhere to some professional standards of journalistic integrity?
I am a social worker, some clients I work with behave very badly, and demonstrate many of the characteristics that have made this case so, so, …frustrating and some of my clients consistently strive for self improvement and to live with moral integrity. Regardless of my clients behavior, I treat them all with the same level of respect. I would think, as a journalist, you have covered some crazy people, stories, and cases. The subject and people you cover must all have issues to different degrees, their dysfunction or success should not impact or alter the level of respect you show an individual.
I don’t care that Hank has a drug history, limited education, and is even more limited economically, he is a family member of a missing child. His life is forever altered, possibly at the hands of his own child, he is clearly struggling, yet you took the opportunity to write a patronizing article overflowing with jabs and cheeky, tit for tat comments.
Furthermore, Hank may have been misinformed about you being responsible for a “lesbian” expose on Misty(why is lesbian in “quotes”?), but it is clear your not above such crap.

For once I think Misty has seen the light how she was used and reused and then discarded. I could feel the honest despair in her voice, for once. True, she may have been a wild child, and is ignorant, but she probably had a bleak life before Ron, no direction, roll with the punches, trying to feel wanted.
Obvious she has been manhandled for some of her life. She acts big and bad, but you can tell, she isn’t. I am wondering now if LE ever sent in a lady to speak to her on her own level about all of this? I mean instead of all these big brawn men getting in her face for answers? I know that’s not the way the system works it, but maybe it wouldn’t hurt to try that approach and draw those secrets out of her.

Misty most likely already resented being used by Ron or had bitterness for other reasons. There was the talk of a fake pregnancy test that caused the fight before she spent the weekend with Greg, and Misty also had the opportunity to talk to Amber (Ron’s ex girlfriend) that weekend. Misty could have felt that Ron married Crystal, maybe had a kid with Amber, so why didn’t he want to marry her or have kids with her? Could be some obsession and even jealousy of Haleigh. There’s no way Misty just now figured out that with “Haleigh gone” they didn’t want her around anymore for childcare, which is a deranged thing to say anyway.

Good job on NG last nite, Art. Unfortunately for Misty, her ‘vision of clarity’ might’ve come a little too late. I keep thinking about previous story ‘MISTY CROSLIN BODY LANGUAGE TALKS’ & what one Poster(Edie #15 & #27)had to say about Misty. Edie made some very good points. Misty is a first time offender & she was dealing drugs that were PROVIDED (no money exchanged) to her by undercover cops. She handed the packets to Ron for him to count. She was NO ‘ring leader’….And Ron is going to testify against her????

Mr.Watts is not with the FBI he has no clue what was on the computers, if it was one, two, three, no computers at all. It’s a childish viscious lie at the expense of Haleigh. Again, I will try, but I don’t think anything I have written, has got out of moderation. I wasn’t really sure what that meant, but, I think I have figured it out. I am disappeared, right?
As I have said all along, I think there is much more to learn about Ronald and his family! I do believe he has much more involvement with Haleigh’s disappearance.
I remember one event, in the first few weeks, where he is speaking to someone, about needing $35,000 to get his daughter back, and also, about a drug debt.
IMO that is why Ronald couldn’t sleep in the trailer, in fact, I don’t think he ever has, again. It had always struck me as very strange, unless he was there, when his daughter died, or went missing!!
Misty seems very afraid of someone, and is getting very mixed up, as she was trying to tell her dad, on tonight’s NG show. Good to see you there, but, strange, for a “church going” person, to cut you off, when you told about Misty and God. Again, she cut you off, almost instantly!! I hate the way she treats her guests……except for Ronald, to whom she appears to have a real “crush” on him. Thanks for this opptunity, Art!!

Why on earth do some people want to say bad things about Ronald Cummings? Leave him alone, his little girl is gone and he has to live with it, there is no evidence pointing towards his involvement other than trusting his precious children with a stupid bleep…He has to LIVE with that, leave him alone.
Art- Please write a book when the facts are brought forth, I would like all this sorted out by a trust worthy journalist. I know Haleigh is counting on You. And God Bless You for helping her…

I have read your above comments regarding Ronald Cummings, and what Misty Cummings/Croslin has said about him, I really have to say I agree, I think it is great she is (FINALLY) breaking away from the Cummings influence. I must ask however why you choose to noT express this on Nancy Grace? I realize she has tunnel vision and sees things one way and HER way only, but that doesn’t mean you have to conform………… Just sayin’

Art, hate to tell ya, but after this case is resolved I’ll have to forego watching you on the Nancy Grace show because I will never watch her again in this lifetime. Nancy Grace has blinders on, she values no one’s opinion but her own. She is rude, hostile and downright hateful to anyone who makes the slightest overture at being critical of her boy, Teflon Ron. She doesn’t want to hear the truth, see it, touch it or smell it, if it’s not totally in agreement with her OWN opinions. Heaven help those who go against her.
She cut you of at the pass when you mentioned Misty asking a neighbor to pray for her “let’s leave God out of this!” and when you mentioned how Misty had a moment of clarity in realizing how Ron had used her; OMG, she HATED you saying that, like you had personally insulted her! Well, not All of us are in love with Ronald Cummings. We see him for what he is; a liar, a manipulator, a bully, a con man, a woman and child beater (obviously Nancy Grace sees nothing wrong with him beating women and children) who has caused birth defects in his own babies; a dope dealer and user, a thug and a criminal who hides behind women, and God only knows what other illegal activities he had going on in that trailer, and they were plenty.
SOMETHING sure had to be covered up. Just take a look at all the lies he and his mother Teresa Neves have told in their participation of the cover up of sweet little Haleigh’s disappearance! All swept under the rug. HE’S the one everyone else is covering up for. I cannot believe in my WILDEST dreams that Nancy Grace cannot see all that is right under her nose! I agree Nancy is getting to snotty with her guests. She always cuts Art off and he seems to be the one who knows and spends time with this family and their friends and ask’s questions. I was yelling at the TV last night because she would not shut up and listen to anything anyone had to say. You would think she would want to listen to her guests because she keeps talking about the same thing over and over again for the last year which is what she thinks. The one guy said her dad is a good lawyer and she reamed his butt. What I think he meant to say is her dad is doing some detective work and trying to get her to talk.
Also, I have no idea why that Ray (cant spell) Judachae even comes on, he cant say a half sentence without her cutting in, ripping him a new one, then cutting him off. I am surprised the network has not fired her yet for being so rude to people that are nice enough to put up with her for 5 minutes.

Watched you last night Art and seems like Nancy cut you short,You have more input into this case then Nancy will ever remember.
Art you were repeating what Misty stated and Nancy stops you and only wants the bad parts of Misty to be heard instead of anything negative about Ronald. Even Marc Klaas was cut short durning the statement when he mentioned a negative statement about Ronald.
Art we want to hear what you were talking about what Misty stated about her calling Ronalds Cell that night,All we ever heard was that Ronald made 90 calls and could never talk to Misty now finally when a worthy news comment is being discussed Nancy stops it.
In my heart i believe Ronald has more involvement Misty is very young in the mind and seems to be easly confused and Law Enforcement uses this to there advantage, Also Ronald is Crazy and has abused young females and threatened Misty with his guns and slapped her around,She should have had him arrested.

Art, I have been an avid watcher of N.G. and learned of you through her show. I am writing this as my 18 yr. old daughter will be graduating from T.C.H.S. of Perry, FL on June 5th, 2010. She doesn’t drink, drugs, etc. However,living in a rural town in FL, it’s not like she hasn’t been exposed to all that goes on in this town. Misty fell through the cracks and got involved with a much older man who did use her, more than likely abused her, and after last night, I feel that she was protecting him. When I was her age, I too was involved with drugs and it became a way of life. I too fell in love with a man 9yrs. older than me who abused me. I thought that I loved him so much that I knew I would do anything to protect him, even after he beat me. I am an adult woman who thinks that Misty had reached clarity in the fact that she says that she kept trying to call R.C. many times when she either: 1. Discovered Haleigh gone. Or: 2. Witnessed her abduction at the hands of people who wanted to get back at R.C. Those who took Haleigh more than likely told Misty that she would be next. I have known people who because of bad drug deals would have no feelings of guilt to do unspeakable things to people who owed them money or drug deals gone bad. Misty said that when she opened the door he was “just” there. I do think that she knows what happened and I felt from the time of the 911 call that she was protecting Ron’s involvement and that is why he married her. My daughter is going into L.E. after college.

Valerie, I really think you have an awesome theory! I just think Misty was awake. On Jane V.Mitchell, Levi Page reported what Charles Jones says Misty told him about Haleigh. Charles Jones also reported this to LE (Dec 2009). Misty told Charles Sr. and Charles Jr. that the drug people took Haleigh. In the Hypnosis Video, Misty makes a statement to the fact “Its not like I was told they were coming to get her( Haleigh)”. I just do not know if Misty knew before hand. I do not think she did.

No one else but the Croslin and Cummings are responsible for placing themselves in the eye of the public. No one else to blame and no pity for their own self destructive behaviors.
Art-Mistys’ attorney has proposed a plea deal but has not heard back from LE. IMO, LE has an idea as to what piece of the information is missing or incorrect, they just need MC to be open and honest about it. MC is now starting to talk about LE should be taking a look at RC. She is still talking in circles, at this point in time MC is likely feeling that either way if she gives the real story LE will not believe her. But at least it seems as if MC is hinting left and right of RC involvement.

This whole ordeal is what I have been showing my teenage sons to stress to them the importance of education and staying away from drugs and alcohol. I believe that the lack of education in the Croslin family added to drug/alcohol usage has destroyed them for generations. They have trapped themselves in this viscious cycle. It needs to end! I can’t believe Misty has been able to keep from getting pregnant, but I see it as God’s intervention.

Hold on everyone! Here we go again on the “carousel of croslin blame game”. This time it is Ronald being accused?!?!
Art~ Why, if you can answer this, does the letters that she is writing keep coming up in the sister-in-law’s hands? Does the jail read them before they are sent, or copy them so LE can release them on discovery?
The reason I ask is because now that the family is now unable to milk Leonard Padilla for more money. I honestly think this routine of cat and mouse needs to end, does LE/SA have enough evidence to take this whack job of a family to a grand jury?
This family is so hungry for the media attention, they will say anything to get the camera on them. They do not seem to care what, where or how this child came up missing. My heart breaks for this little girl’s parents. They have been through more torment at the hands of this family than a million families should ever go through!

I wish you could have went into more detail about the neighbor Misty asked to pray for her. I read your reponse #18 where you went into a little more detail. Thank you.
I think that her comment to the neighbor is very important. It shows her resentment toward the child. The child she claimed to love so much. I have a biological son and 2 step-childern. I do not refer to caring for my wonderful step-children as “baby sitting”. As their step-mom it is my responsability and I enjoy spending time with them. “I loved that little girl like she was my own”. Isn’t that what she told reporters? “Our 5yr. old daughter is missing” she told 911. It is clear that she was trying to misrepresent her relationship with Haleigh from the beginning, which proves she was being deceptive from the start.
What was this little brat thinking? If she moved in with Ron no one would tell her what to do anymore? She must’ve imagined she would be able to do whatever/whenever. Not go to school, not have to work. I think she really believed she was just so cute she was intitled to sit around on her a** and be catered to. We know Grandma was taking care of the childrens’ laundry for Ron. What did she really have to do? Make macaroni and cheese, pop in a movie and put them to bed. Big deal.
I don’t blame Ron and his family, I don’t know any men who would work and support her(she tells how he bought everything for her that he did for Haleigh) while she sat around and partied night and day. She is so selfish to think she wasn’t supposed to contribute anything!! She says she’s tired of taking care of other peoples children…LMAO! Well, she wanted to move in and play house with Ronald. Did she want to play Mommy or did she want to be another child herself? She didn’t want to work or go to school, what did she think a house wife does? It should’ve been a lesson to her that she wasn’t house wife material and that she needed to get her butt back in school and change her life. Instead she decided to take out the problem.

I, too, am getting very aggravated that whenever a guest disagrees with NG’s preconceived opinions, they get shouted down or cut off or insulted. I would not watch at all except that I am extremely interested in seeing if/when this Haleigh case gets resolved. I enjoy Art’s and Mike’s commentary – when I can hear it! Seems that what we heard on the above referenced tape contradicts with the ongoing assumption that Misty and Tommy are beginning to talk about the night Haleigh disappeared. A timeline would be helpful – did this latest video occur before or after the events in mid April at the river? First you hear that Misty is telling what she knows to Flo Hollars, and the next thing is she tells her Daddy she knows nothing. One needs a scorecard to keep up with this case!

What struck me about Misti on those tapes is that she is a very scared little girl I always believed she personally didn’t harm Haleigh but she know who did and she is protecting them with everything she has. If they find that she is the one who hurt Haleigh I will be very shocked. I completely understand your thoughts and ideas regarding certain players activities and how the facts about them might potentially lead to providing a possible motive.
Everything to do with these people seems significant given the fact that a beautiful little girl is missing and thus far the situation as it stands in this case is that the stories that are being told about that night/early morning do not match up.
The door of speculation is wide open and many eyes are upon them all now and will be until little Haleigh Cummings is found.
No one but the person(s) responsible have made this so.
Who is responsible and even more, where is Haleigh?
If the truth had been told in the beginning then most likely the investigation and a lot of fact finding information about each and every person associated to this case that has occured thus far might never have happened.
We would already know what happened to Haleigh and the innocent persons in this case, whomever they are, would seem insignificant.

Hey Art, I have followed this case and your reports since day one and have never seen anything in regard to Misty’s sexuality other than your reporting the “Craigs List ad” by Donna Brock. Hank Croslin, along with the rest of the family go back and forth and use whatever reporter is shelling out the most for them. You know you didn’t report it and your loyal readers/fans know that as well. Good news on the Misty side. Now that she knows RC is going to do whatever he has to in order to save himself, she is not sitting back and letting him make her take the fall for all of this without a fight. She will probably be revealing much more within the next few weeks regarding the drugs and the Haleigh case. I think LE has done a great job in their plan to eventually get her to talk. Sadly, I still believe she may be the one responsible for Haleigh’s death. She may not have meant to actually kill her, but it happened. She could possibly be in so much denial that she will never fully admit it. I think this more so, because of her now crawfishing on the Tommy and Joe did it story. I still believe RC could have had a part or knowledge of it and I still think Tommy and Joe may have disposed of Haleigh trying to help Misty. I feel real strong that cousin Joe knows much more than he has let on and I feel that Tommy would lie and blame Joe for the death to try and protect Misty. All in all, I do truely believe the truth is going to unfold finally and we will know what happened and where Haleigh is. Keep up the great work Art, and keep us informed.

Hi Art. You are welcome. I have read every article here and never have you said what Hank told Misty. You are so professional we can’t drag a personal opinion from you, you stick to the facts only. I could find many instances where you compliment members of the Croslin family such as Lyndsay, Chelsea, Flora, and Hank. What really gets me about what we saw was how Misty tried to say it was LE that brought Joe into this. It was LE that brought Tommy into this. Was it LE that talked to Flora on the phone or was it Tommy? Didn’t he ask if she had talked to Misty and she said yes? Then Tommy tells LE Joe did all this. I think Misty and Tommy learned at a young age, when cornered always blame a third party. JMO.

I think this is too sad, no matter which way you look at it. I feel sorry for Misty. We keep forgetting that she is only 18 years old. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I wasn’t mature when I was 18 years of age. You can hear it her voice; the heartache of the realization that Ron truly used her and now she may very well spend the rest of her life in prison for trying to impress Ron. Okay Art, I have had just about enough of this bashing Art deal over at BNN. I just a post that was apparently written by either Jesus or one of his saints. All of the sudden out of the blue you are out of line and offensive! I read a posting by Simon myself that questioned the sexual abuse that runs through out the Croslin family and how it was dealt with. But for this week over at Bnn, Mistys parents are the victims. I will give them this, they had nothing to do with Haleighs disappearance, and if it wasn’t for their offspring(quite the gems) they wouldn’t be going through a public shunning. But, Hank and Lisa are not innocents by any means. Are the people who say poor Hank and Lisa thinking of the all the tax payers $$ they have used for years before this case started? Or the crimes they have committed themselves? Or the fact that it was easier for Hank and Lisa to let Misty at 17, marry a man way to old for her just so they didn’t have to finish raising her? (If you can call what they did raising). I can get that they had no hands in what happened with Haleigh but their kids do and they have shown the country what liars, manipulators, and degenerates they are. So Bnn can suck it!! To you all, I posted to NG that if she treats her husband the way she speaks to her guests, it would be her divorce we would be hearing about next. Tommy is a liar, his attorney said he accompanied Joe by force to the river to dump Haleigh’s body, but he tells his dad he saw her in the van Joe was driving and Joe didn’t know he saw. Tommy is just making a story up to get a deal and get out. he went willingly with Joe to dump her and I still feel somehow Misty hurt Haleigh and he did it to get rid of her.

About Ron’s plea deal in exchange for testifying against Misty… I have seen bloggers who seem to think that the testimony against Misty is about what happened to Haleigh. I thought his testimony was more about the drug dealing. Can you clarify? Thanks!

Do you know anything about Hank’s supposed arrest around the late March-early April timeframe? Tim says he had to sell something he got from Misty to get Hank out. I’ve not found an arrest record as yet. Can you fill us in?

Now if she does get popped, and he has information that helps make that case, the DA can always go back and ask for time off for his drug trafficking 15 years. Got a ways to go on that. art

Like so many there, your post shows your lack of education and discern. I’m surprised you’d want to expose it publically…
Anyway, your friends may not want to hear it, but that’s why they actually ban critics; the truth hurts…and why we refused to associate with them long ago. They didn’t like it when we left, and reacted predictably, as the scorned, arrogant and rejected always do, by lashing out at those who turned down the Koolaid and jumped off the ship of fools. God knows why we stayed that long to share our valuable time and original reporting.
You should also know, as you probably do, they have a poster who told Hank she was Deb, real name Jan57, (don’t think it’s the wife) my sources tell me, who has been not only making up stuff about yours truly to try and poison my longstanding relationship with family members, Hank, especially, and aired his pain and point of view long before anyone else bothered to talk fairly about them. Now Mophead has suddenly discovered their saving graces, that the Croslins are people, too.
Not only that, our posters have been sharing the fact one of their defamers, has even bragged she made stuff up to tell Hank, and done it with glee. Not very smart to admit you knew stuff was false but posted it anyway, or engaged in illegal taping, since lawyers tell us that makes all parties guilty and liable for lots of damages, even those who post the illegal recordings. Wondering how their blog owner will feel when he learns his irresponsible talkers have put his talk empire at risk?
And that doesn’t even count how his people allegedly threatened and attempted to extort one Florida lawyer whose payroll we were never on, which is laughable, and they know it. Seems their host, their snake in residence and their radio news crony were all on the phone when your fav snakeman and his host threatened to defame the lawyer further if e mails from me that don’t exist weren’t handed over … Yep, sounds like blackmail to me…Had the lawyer in tears, and later telling me that a not so ethical radio newsman was on that call, too, as an alleged witness, something his station would not appreciate, if true. (He denied it when I asked him, to be fair, saying he didn’t recall such a call). But if you really want your ears to burn, you should hear what snake’s brother has to say about him, rest of the family, too…If I were to crawl on my belly, though, like the real snake, I’d be as worried about my own family coming after me as the feds, truthteller be told.
A famous writer once said, you can’t go home again, and boy, snakeman better believe it, after allegedly violating Fla. wiretapping laws, including taping police without their knowledge…who know he taped them. Ouch. And Mophead put the illegal recordings on his site.
Cathy, we won’t ban you here, but we will call it out from time to time on those who show their ignorance, or ignore them as we usually do. You got lucky.
But I do hope you have a nice weekend and join us in thoughts and prayers for the men and women in uniform who are defending our freedoms, including yours to express yourself. But do keep in mind, if you come back, our wonderful posters require civility, smarts and standards…something you will need a crash course on…I apologize to them for the long waits and moderation hell at times, but please understand if you don’t get an answer in the future, you can assume, you didn’t make the IQ cut. This topic had yet to be raised, as I recall, with the tapes just emerging when the show was taped, so don’t think we all had time to digest it–or CONFIRM and check out what it means. I feel empathy for What Hank and Lisa are going thru now. Hank admits to not being able to read. So if some one tells him something that will benifit him I believe he would take it and run with it. Hank admits his kids had a hard life and also mentions his regrets about his parenting. But just like his children, he really doesn’t take responsibility. or confront them for there actions.
He says to Misty and Tommy tell the truth. But after they say their truth he says I believe you . You couldn’t do that. Then the next conversation he asked them to tell the truth again. Doesn’t make any sense. If he doesn’t believe them why not just use some tough love and say I don’t believe that to be the truth and neither does LE. You can’t have it both ways. He makes excuses for himself and his children.
I have empathy for them because they chose to live as uneducated folks that are very street smart. They are responsible for their choices in life. Their choices worked for them before… stealing, doc shopping, lying, using the welfare system, using drugs, and they taught their children these same principles. Now they are feeling the publics disapproval of their life style. The lesson they are learning is harsh. They are the underdogs by their own choice. I am sure anyone sticking up for them would be a welcome voice even if its not true.
I would think Hank would say look at us don’t live this way. Go to school. Be honest. Respect the law. I think everyone who follows this case of the Cummings and Croslins should really use them as an example of how not to live. The codependency of the crime and drug culture destroies lives.

Your Mr.Watts is not that honest. I just spoke with a cous of mine and he knows a tid bit about the internet, computer world. He says for ads of that nature they have to be paid by a valid C/C and that in the privacy agreement CL has it clearly communicates that the information can and is if requested is shared with LE. Plus IP’s and other information such as a MAC number which really isolates it are recorded stored and if LE got the actual computer & location it was posted from it’s like being given the whole thing lock stock and barrel. Prostitution is illegal in Florida along with Human Trafficking which is what ads of that nature would be. Given LE’s desire to place any charge possible and pressure all sources around Misty and Misty herself it’s highly unlikely LE would pass up charging them when the evidence allegedly there, undisputable evidence. With that siad I think the story is hog wash because I believe my cous over you and Mr.Watts.

And there-in you demonstrate your lack of education and understanding of the investigative process and what LE’s strategy is. Why waste valuable time and police resources trying to pin a questionable sex charge on someone that would require tons of effort for unlikely return when you have Misty and Undercover Mama by the cornrows for alleged drug trafficking and decades behind bars as leverage to maybe cough up an answer to the Haleigh mystery.

Thanks for the note, but a very big mistake and wrong assumption. The UC cop did NOT give her drugs. Those were drugs she and/or Ronald allegedly obtained from other dealers, (or UCs) with cash, or a promise to pay when they were sold (to the UC). Now if lawyers can show it was another UC that sold them or gave them drugs to resell to the UC, maybe they could use an entrapment defense. But there’s no evidence of that. Where did you see info or reporting that she was provided drugs by undercover cops? In fact, she snitched two pills from one deal, according to Ron’s cousin who is now doing 15 years. She also got a big stash from Donna Brock, who got one prescription from her Dentist in Va. Art

I beleive that Misty had two teeth pulled to obtain prescription from Dentists while she was with Donna. At Least I read that. I believe thats why Misty hooked up with WBG. He was arrested with a car full of drugs just a few weeks ago. Ron talked about getting the drugs from people that had a monthly RX of the drugs and even described one man. I think Tommy related to this as well. That why I suspected they got drugs from Hank Sr. because of his doc shopping. I think Ron is holding Hank in his back pocket for his plea deal. Ron also mentioned to Snake about an LE person who was on drugs. Maybe he bought from Ron. And we can’t forget the Sheriffs Son was arrested for selling and having a drug house. His arrest involved three other people and a child was in the car when they where arrested for selling. Ron also tells Snake that he had business with JO don’t know what that business was.
I think all drug sellers know all the other drug sellers. Thats why snitching results in vengence.
Art I have a question??? When I read all five of Ron initial arrest sheets in one of them was written minor in car. Wish I had made a copy can’t locate them now. Did I read right.?

I have suspected Ron from the moment I saw him prostrating himself on the ground with transparent for the camera dramatics and non-tears.
I thought Geraldo asked very pertinent questions to which Ron outright lied. Geraldo was then forced to back off when Ron’s “supporters’ became aggressive.
As previously stated, phone records will show if Misty was calling him and he didn’t answer his phone. I think HaLeigh was retaliation for Ron’s drug dealing and his ripping off drug boys. Ron is a violent, abusive, out of control maniac and if Misty really had anyone to fear, it would be Ron.
Why the headless rat in Tommy’s mailbox? This sends the same message as the movie mogul in The Godfather who woke up with his prized horse dead in his bed.
Hank and Lisa obviously lack parenting skills, but I really believe Hank loves his kids and is trying the best way he knows to have them come clean with what they know. If Ron believed Joe had anything to do with HaLeigh’s “disappearance”, he would have snapped that little runt like a twig.
I have my doubts that the truth will ever come out because it seems that the Putnam Hillbillies have stumped LE.

We all know it was because of the other case,that this even caused UC to call her for a deal.An facing time Min 25 yrs an facing 8 counts.The man who tried to choke a teen with her own panties,when molesting her,he only got 5 yrs,an got out to Allegdyly murdered two other teen(young wemon). Come on now.Our system needs a over haul with these laws.An i am speaking of the drug case only now.
That kind of charge an time should be for people like those busted in the 15 mill dollar drug bust where they were bringing drugs in from Mexico to Fla.Why they had uncut meth/coke/pills/pot/money/weapons/even their own survalence.

I’m so sorry those infantile posters like Cathyjo63 come over here and berate you. Cathyjo63 lies, accuses, abuses, and harasses fellow posters until they have had enough and say something back to her which is a big no no as she is very thin skinned. Invariably after she is displeased with another poster they are suddenly gone-banned from the site. You ought to see their fixation with you over at the other site. They constantly slander you. They act like a pack of wolves and are very abusive with some of the posters who dare to speak the truth, or simply disagree with them. The reason that blog has the appearance of being read by many is because Cathy and her minions constantly refresh the article pages, with her incessant blathering. . The mop head and his wife say they don’t put up with abusive comments, but interestingly they only ban people who are not part of their click. In the mean time her and her love sick co-dependent friend, ex-con OJ,(obnoxiousjerk)named in his honor, get away with saying and doing anything to others. Of course it’s justified when they do it. They have lost allot of readers, posters and respect. The story’s I could tell you about what goes on in the back ground. Part of the reason I know so much is that Cathy emails and talks on the phone to a bunch of us and shares things behind other supposed posters friends’ back. Including the mop head and his wife, on a regular basis. That as well has turned me off. She has no clue how despicable that is, or that another person would even find that offensive. She likes to accuse and humiliate people. But when anyone disapproves of her behavior she goes off over and over. Not to mention, if you did in fact read my articles to Hank, which I’m sure he appreciates, because he knows he can’t read and feels badly about it, you sure didn’t read them properly, and that raises your schooling again, if you went to one.
I’ve had some nice heart to heart talks with Hank, and he’s doing his best. Don’t mean to deflate you, but he didn’t know who you were. But he did say lots of crazy people like you call him, strangers, trying to pretend to be friends, insinuating themselves in their lives for no reason other than to try to upset them, hyping this or that, misrepresenting what we report, and do so gleefully, pumping him full of whatever your nutso, ego-thumping agenda may be.
So, please be on notice you know, and we know, you have been mispresenting us, in his mind, and in fact, and will be held accountable. Meanwhile, expect no further platforms here. My readers have been calling it out on folks like you for a long time, and don’t appreciate the illiterate, and unwashed, and the divisive droppings you leave. So, you say you read to Hank? I’m still leaning toward the theory that Ron may have had some pills at the house that little Haleigh may have swallowed….Misty, loving Ronald the way she did at that time, could easily be covering for him & diverting attention away from him & toward cousin Joe….no?

You are on the money!!! No Role Models, No education. These kids weren’t raised, they were dragged up by their parents. I wish they would break and show feeling and compassion for Haleigh, so the Families can have closure!!

You sum up the irrelevance and the lack of education pretty well. we know she’s never won a spelling bee, and like so many others we choose to ignore for the most part– except vile RSOs like Hobbit who managed to insert themselves in this story, getting off on their virtual playground until our readers exposed him as a Daddy rapist—apparently lives on the drama of make believe bees in their bonnets. I’m betting you’d also find many of Hobbit’s old fans hobnobbing with with Cathy on her web home away from home. Why should we care when there’s stories to dig up, and news to report for readers who appreciate it, oh, and to keep Haleigh and other missing children on the minds of the vigilant. art

Ode but vinny, just look at us…take a gander…
Look at they prey those that say, type, write, sing, play some instrument, fly a rocket, pilot a boat or a harbour…and not many give more than they take…and there’s all sorts of supposed addictions and truth or dare consequences…
Most just feed and throw stones and gosh just take a look at all those suit and ties on wallstreet…trading invisible funds…playing with live–lee-hoods…each one not any more less pored than the rest…’cept for hoops….and seems now the grease is selling education instead of that word I find hard to pronounce….reminds of manure.

I’ve just had a sterlingly brilliant thought….yeah I know, but, I do have a few!! When there is news regarding Misty, the last person to see Haleigh alive! – I don’t think that she was the last person.
Nicole, I totally agree with your last comment, except the reference of ‘hillbillies’. Guess it just doesn’t sit well, as I live in Canada, and we don’t use the word, as you do in the US. Other than that, a fair, fab comment!

I think just like casey anthony misty croslin has been getting away with stuff with her parents for a long time. This is what happens when the teenagers are in control and are running the household. I have seen her mother especially sit there and tell her o its ok i know your innocent. I can see through her lies and i don’t even know her its obvious she is lying. Quit treating misty like a baby Haileigh was the five year old not misty.

Hi Art. I am so sick of how Nancy Grace is so down on Misty. I have written many comments with no response.But when all this happened Misty was a minor herself. And nothing happened to Ronald for being with a minor. Nobody cares about what kid of a childhood Misty had. I know that she was brought up with aot of drug use, that is what she thought was normal. She used to go to church,kids choir every chance she got just to get out of house. All she knew was to lie about the drugs that was in the house. That is enough about that,all I know is that Misty loved kids and would never hurt a child. But the police and Nancy has never looked at anyone but Misty. Look in her eyes,ahe knows who did it and tried to tell police in the beginning but all they did was ask him he said he didnt do it so Misty was the lair not the cousin. Misty is a scared child herself and I believe that she was scraed for her life to and remember she was a child to. And Ronald all he ever wanted was a minor to have sex with, why not look at him, that is what I dont understand about Nancy if it waqs Lucy at the age 17 she would look at this different. I believe Ronald not only had sex with this minor but also abused her. Listen how he talks to her I believe she is also afraid of him not just her cousin that did all this. But asll anyone can say is Misty lied. At least she did at 17 took care and fed them 2 kids unlike there mother. Oh in Nancy eyes she is a grea person to. I used to like watching Nancy she was always fair until this case, and I cant stand the way she mentally abusses Misty and it is mental abuse look up the meaning for mental abuse.she was a minor.

ya nancy grace is snotty but she gets the job done!! misty needs to just tell the whole truth. i dont think she killed haileigh, but she had something to do with it, maybe joe made her carry the body to where ever haileigh is. we all need to pray for haileigh and for art. he gets down to the bottom of things.. oya do you think nancy’s twins are soooo cute??? whos there daddy? ~Peace Out~
