Exclusive: Haleigh Cummings’ Undercover Dad?
Undercover sweet-talk: cops write Ronald’s Misty script, he says.

The Bald Truth has learned investigators have enlisted a new secret weapon in their strategy to get Misty Croslin to tell what they believe she knows about five year old Haleigh Cummings—her ex husband, Ronald Cummings.
In a surprising revelation, Cummings, behind bars on drug trafficking charges, tells his mother that two law enforcement investigators paid him a visit to brief him on the lines they wanted him to feed Misty, who still carries a torch for the now accused drug dealer she was living with when she reported his daughter missing a year ago today.
“They came and told me what to say, and (that) I had to tell Misty that I really, really loved her,” said Cummings in a jailhouse visit with his mother, Teresa Neves, caught on audio tape and released Tuesday.
The two agents have been working together on the Haleigh Cummings case, we’ve learned, leaning on Misty Croslin and her family for months.
Cummings says they instructed him to tell Misty that “I’d stand behind her no matter what,” discuss how much he missed Haleigh and how broken up he was at losing Junior, working up a sob story to touch her heart and try to unlock the truth, when, so far, all else has failed.
“I just don’t want it getting’ out because they asked me not to even say anything about it,” he went on.
Misty Croslin is in jail charged with eight counts of drug trafficking a county away from Cummings who remains in the Putnam County Jail, near detectives working the Cummings case.

Ron cummings thinks he can outsmart LE. It’s amazing that some people still cannot see through him. He is so full of crap! Does he really think that LE doesn’t know what he’s up to in his jailhouse tapes? ron isn’t a dummy, but he’s also not the sharpest tool in the shed! The truth will come out; I just hope its sooner than later. At least he and misty are sitting where they need to be.

I don’t believe a word of what Ronald Cummings says…He is aware his jail calls are recorded..His conversation with his Mom stating LE told him to tell Misty he loved her etc. is not believable..He goes on to tell his Mom, “I don’t want it getting out because they asked me not to say anything”. Don’t you think LE would have redacted this comment is they didn’t want it getting out? What is the purpose of LE releasing this conversation if it’s a trick to make Misty talk?

He knows he’s being taped.If he wanted to find out what happened to his daughter,he’d have kept his mouth shut.It sounds to me like he’s trying to make the sheriff’s dept. look quilty of something and this is pay back for being jailed.Misty tried the same thing in saying she was going to get her family to go to the media and tell she only gets fed three times a day and cold from being given drugs she wanted for nerves.The more these people talk,the more quilty they look.Sounds like old Ronny boy is trying to set up a lawsuit against the Sheriff’s Dept.He’s trying to make them look quilty of set ups,which is very interesting.Does he think the public actually feels sorry for him or Misty?They do not,they are in there for a reason.

A service was held this evening, on the corner of Tyler, and Monroe at 6pm. the un jalied members of the family, friends and concerened citizens attended. All afternoon, TV crews interviewed residents of the Buffalo Bluff community.
Art, point to correct, the Elementary School she attended lets out at 3pm, and the bus drops her off roughly 3:30.
Yes there is a 2 hour window where all the parties were in the home, Misty Ron, the children, and who knows who else.

What did Neves mean when she said to Ron, “sometimes we make decisions, and if it helps to bring Haleigh home, it is what it is”? I think Ron is in cahoots with LE to make Misty talk. Misty is not going to talk! As she said, “they need to move on”. Art, what’s the latest on Padilla and Cobra bonding Misty out? I heard on one of the shows Padilla is awaiting word from Fields, her attorney.. Any word?

I never thought I would say this: I truly feel sorry for Misty. Everyone in her life is a loser and a user, and a liar. If Ronald did this to her to gather information, he’s a good actor and so is his mother. I suppose Ronald was so grief stricken over his missing daughter, he had to buy drugs and stay messed up in order to get the goods on Misty.
This is all b.s., all of it. Ronald Cummings may be in protective custody, but it is Misty that needs protection. Why am I not surprized that her ex husband and mother in law rolled over on her. Just like everyone else has.
The way I see it, there is a long line of female victims leading straight to Ronald Cummings.

Hello, I watched you tonight on NG, and I still have a real hard time with the great-grandmother being the one who says she came by at 8:00 to bring Misty the kids clean clothes…what else did granny have to say? I heard you state that someone saw the kids playing outside Haleigh with her cousins…well who is the someone…can these people be trusted…I still do not believe that Ron is telling the truth…and if I was Misty and had Ron as a mate, you bet I wouldn’t tell…I would be scared to death to tell the truth.

Ron let it out of the bag, and if anyone trusted him to keep a secret, including investigators, bad move. Remember when he warned Misty in NYC when she was with Donna Brock that Brock was undercover for TES? Why would he do that if he really wanted to learn the truth about his daughter and thought someone might be able to get it, even someone he did not control? That sent Misty a message to be wary and keep quiet, no? Maybe by ratting out the investigator’s purported strategy to use him, he knows it will get out and wants Misty to know that, to warn her, no? Have his plea deal and eat it too…Course he can tell LE he thought they’d already made it public, his bad, and ask for another chance to find Haleigh. But some wonder, if he really wanted to find her, why wasn’t he banging on LE’s door every day to get information, or lead his own searches, instead of running around town basking in the spotlight of entitlement grief, copping free meals (“Don’t you know who I am?”) and grabbing donation jars at the convenience stores? Ronald is pretty media saavy and even talks about using a local TV reporter for an interview because he can make him promise not to bring up Ronald’s past. I am convinced nothing will change NG mind about Ronald’s innocence, and nothing will change my mind that he had something to do with Haleigh’s disappearance..Why didn’t she show the jail video of Ron talking to his Mom about Loritab? He spent the whole time talking about wanting narcotics for tooth pain..Also saying he could get Percocet for back pain if he asked..The guy is a drug addict, and the ringleader of the Sasuma gang..IMO Tonight on NG, Nancy was convinced of Ron’s timeline, but the ones who claim to have seen Haleigh that afternoon were family..Why aren’t we hearing about neighbors seeing her? The neighbors directly across from the back door ramp would have seen her, if she were outside, yet no word from them, or anyone except family, who may have been in on the lie..NG is hell bent on convicting Misty,and refuses to think anyone else could be responsible..I believe Ron’s pastor who said, “Ron told me he worked an eight hour shift, then went home”, which means he would have left for work around 6/7pm.. Why doesn’t NG ask Ron or Neves is they are still going to the same church? Dime to a donut they are not..It seems to me there are many more questions she could ask Ron, than she is questioning Misty about..1) What time did you actually leave for work that evening? 2) Why did you call Misty 20 times looking for her while you were at work, then when you got home ask Misty why she was up so late? I can think of a lot more to ask, but it’s in one ear and out the other to her..She only hears what she wants to hear, and that is Misty is the main player in this case… IMO

Could it be Ron assumed these tapes would be edited before being released to anyone? I’ll have to watch NG again tonight because i don’t remember hearing that conversation with his mother. Even something like this can be perceived in different ways, this whole case is full of this kind of stuff.
Art, what did you make of Ronald saying to his mother the two they have suspected all along are where they wanted them to be, i assume he means Misty and Tommy. What was all the stuff after that about Chrystal? If you have the time please explain what he was talking about. Was he insinuating she would take Jr and go into hiding so Ron wouldn’t be able to see him, or was he talking about protection for Chrystal and Jr? I think you are right about the whole Ronald telling Misty to be quiet that Donna was working undercover. And then he does and interview with the reporter going on and on about how he is going to kill whoever has Haleigh you think maybe that was a message to Misty to keep her mouth shut? And I know Haleigh is missing and that would be a parents worst nightmare but what about taking care of jr.. I feel sorry for him also.
In the telephone conversation with his grandmother Ron says he is sending out letters and one is to Crystal. I wonder if Crystal will give it to the Media?

Wouldn’t the LE already have checked into the weeks before? I was under the perception they have I was told they likely have because the answer is quite often in before. I was told that is quite often how people get caught. If she was sold then someone owed someone a debt and there be a connection. Maybe not a part of this but I was told then Police go after that drug dealer until they find he/she was payed and when and by whom, thus opening Pandora’s box, especially if the pay off date was close to Haleigh’s disappearance. Or drugs bought close to her disappearance with out any explanation of where the money came from, things like that. They look at everyone into weeks before. If it is a predator unknown to everyone then likely they hide well and it’s in their secret life like on their computer activity, phone records, connection to predators, and or convicted offenders. I was told that likely has already been done. I find it hard to think they are just now doing that seems like smoke and mirrors. I don’t know what is being played out by the tape being allowed out, seems to defeat the purpose or the perceived purpose. Even odder Ronald would say it where it can be heard and will be repeated, it’s all very odd.

Ronald Cummings … was angry that night when after over 20 times he could not reach Misty, and he went home…(I believe)… He supposedly has an air-tight alibi, but how air-tight is it really? Somehow he left his work place to do the deed. Then, in spite of the fact that he called Misty at least 20 times that night, he took his time coming home. Even stopped to buy smokes, etc. Why are the police not seeing this??? The guy is an absolute monster, pedofile and worse. And even if you can prove that he did not hurt his daughter, which I doubt, there is no disproving his arrogance and disregard for his missing daughter. He set Misty up. He did this. He is being protected somehow with that thin alibi, “I don’t know. I was at work.” CRAP. I don’t think he stayed at work. He called Misty 20 times and was horny as hell. And then somehow he snuck off the premises to do his dirty work. Was his uniform a black uniform? Was that the mystery man that junior saw in black bouncing on the couch? Please, people, open your minds. Ron is a pedophile and Misty is the victim/scapegoat in this whole escapade. And Ronald Cummings is a monster.

Art, thank you for the updates. Last night you said that Haleigh got off the bus at 2:30pm or 3:00pm you believed. Haleighs school lets out at 3:00pm. Teresa Neves out of her own mouth on Nancy Grace said that Haleigh got off the bus at 3:30pm. You reported that Rons work hours for that Monday Haleigh disappeared were 4pm til 12am and agreed to voluntary work 3 hours over. Ron and his lawyer on the Nancy Grace show said Ron always arrived at work 30 – 45 minutes early for his shift. I am totally confused here! Why would Ron be at home when Haleigh got home if this timeline is correct?

Even though Ron is a drug dealing loser, I dont think he had anything to do with his daughters disappearance. Also, if he was responsible for the dissappearance (which he’s not because his alibi is airtight) he wouldnt be pressing the media to find his daughter. Also, he doesnt seem to be hiding anything (unlike misty). He’s answered all of the questions asked by the police. The only lies he told was related to his drug dealings and drug use (no surprise).

ART: WHERE’S CRYSTAL??????? WHERE ARE THE SHEFFIELDS? I wrote yesterday that I am still puzzled about Misty’s cousin, but I have also found it really strange how all of the focus has been put on the Cummings/Croslin connections, but where has Crystal been? I know she has custody of the son, but during Ronald and Ms. Neves conversation, they referred to “those two” and how “she” has moved to different states{all these people sure do move alot, huh?!} and then Ronald refers to some scenarios ending with “or worse”. For those of you wondering why Ronald said certain things about getting to Misty, I really don’t think LE would let anything be heard that shouldn’t…of couse RONALD knows everything is being recorded, he is not an idiot! Why do people waste their time wondering this? AGAIN, I do believe Ronald, and as for everyone writing in saying how he is “putting on an act, a manipulator, fooling everybody,etc..” MAYBE that’s the WHOLE POINT of what he’s doing and saying…DOING ANYTHING HE HAS TO DO TO FIND HIS DAUGHTER, EVEN IF IT MEANS COMPROMISING HIMSELF, WHETHER IT’S DICTATED BY LE, OR PERSONALLY. Again, it can’t be a coincidence with the immediate Haleigh sighting in Tennessee after Joe went home.. THINK ABOUT IT FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE: Ron isn’t letting info “out of the bag” accidentally, but only per the direction of LE WITH THE PURPOSE OF GETTING ANY INFO. Art it is sad but true all the players in this story will lie,cheat or steal from anybody at anytime. LE did not say these things to Ronald unless they wanted him to tell, besides it would not work. More than likely they have already tried something like that (like marrying her). Ronald knows as much about Haleigh as Misty does. The poor little think never had a chance in life. Also, let’s not forget that Teresa Neves did not have custody of Ron or his sister, from the time Ron was 3 he lived with Neves’ mother. Parenting was never a priority with these people. Ron is a pathetic loser who uses pubescent child-women for his own needs – ‘insert here – clean this – watch that…’. And as for his claim that he ‘can’t work – too much media hounding him’ *BS* – just like George Anthony – *BS* Ron is using the media to his advantage – as recently revealed in a video conversation – to promote himself as ‘undercover’ with LE’s blessings. If so, would not LE have redacted that part of the conversation with his mom?! And his mom is ”proud” of him?! Ron thinks he is outsmarting LE and the public who read/view issues/statements/video related to his daughter’s case. I even wonder if Misty knows anything more… Bottom line, a year later and where is Haleigh?

A LONG time ago Nancy Grace or some show aired an interview of Crystal and her son Jr. and Crystal said that Jr. remembered a man and that (forgive my paraphrasing) he was bouncing up and down on the couch…the only thing..as sick as it seems..this makes me think of is somebody sexually abusing somebody. In other words..who did Jr. witness jumping up and down on the couch? Why hasn’t this been talked about more? Why didn’t anyone ask Jr. more questions? I have taught five-year-olds..and let me tell you, they are much more perceptive than people are giving “Jr.” credit for. In my opinion, either Misty was with a man having relations on the couch..or the man was taking advantage of someone else (I don’t even want to say it..but possibly Halleigh). This is just a theory that I have been wondering about for a LONG time. I noticed when it aired, nobody even took a second look at this or gave it a second thought..but to me..the couch..bouncing up and down..come on..I know he wasn’t jumping on the couch because he won the lottery. I am just frustrated that this little fragment of information has been discarded simply because it came from a five-year-old. Can you please help me with this perplexing bit of possible KEY information and help me understand why no one heard it?? Or cares?

I’ve been watching you on NG and last night you and Nancy were talking about Misty having gone on that 3 day drug binge before Hailey was taken. When she was initially questioned, how long did it take her to cop to that and to tell police who she was with? Also, I can’t believe Ronald didn’t know where she’d been; how honest was he with cops regarding her whereabouts and his knowledge of who she’d been with?
I’ve never believed he was directly involved in what happened to his daughter, but there is a striking disconnect between swearing you’re going to kill the person who took your daughter and seeming to harbor no animosity towards the person who, best case scen., allowed your child to be taken because she was passed out cold. I’m sorry, that whole,”Keep your friends close….” BS just makes me embarrassed for him every time I hear it. I think he is acutely aware that both his and Mistys lifestyles are directly responsible for what occurred that night, even if he’ll never admit to the public. I had not heard you mention what you told Delores above about him tipping off Misty about D.Brock. Not exactly the definition of doing everything you can to find your child.

Just curious, in the last interview recording between Misty and her Mother, Misty all of a sudden is being brave and ranting for us to kiss her a@@ as well as bragging “she doesn’t care if she does 20 years”. Is this an act because maybe, just maybe she is going to roll and she knows she is getting out. Food for thought.

Art….my husband watches NG as well and he has a theory different than mine. He thinks that Misty got the kids to sleep and then went out.(Maybe someone saw her leave w/out the kids?). He thinks while she was gone, someone came to the house and maybe looked around and saw the kids sleeping but no Misty. Didn’t Misty say she had to take a blanket (used as a curtain)off the window and wash it for Haleigh to use? That would leave the window uncovered.Was there a window covering in the bedroom when NG people went in to see the home? If so, was it a blanket or sheet or a curtain? Then Misty gets home before Ronald, see’s Haleigh isn’t there but can’t admit she had left the kids alone, which would explain why she didn’t see anything..if she wasn’t there to see anything. That’s his theory, at this point anything is possible i guess.

Art, first of all Thankyou for all of your time and energy you have put onto this case…. You are greatly respected and appreciated…. From the time Heighly got off the bus there was a lie or misunderstnding who picked her up… It does not sound like that matters much, but it does because of credibility…. I feel it would not hurt to take all of the people (from the begining of that day) in for lie dectector tests…. I have a hard time understanding the tapes on NG… And NG has tunnel vision when it comes to Ron and Mama Teresa…. I think they are working overtime to see that Misty keeps her mouth shut…. Why would they tell what the police want Ron to say??? They know this will get back to Misty…As far as Haleigh dying at a party, Ron would have the world knowing about it… And if Misty was passed out, she would have passed the LD test…I’m sure there are many things LE is holding from the public…Do you know who Mama Treasa is livin with???? There are three things that I believe need further scrutiny.
1.) Did Ron, in fact, rob a drug dealer of drugs and/or money at gunpoint shortly before Haleigh “went missing?” Has law enforcement investigated that possibility, and interviewed everyone who may have knowledge? I dismissed this at first, but the story came from SOMEWHERE. Then little Shaniya Davis was sold my her mother to settle a drug debt. Now I know it CAN happen.
2.) Along that same thought, when Ron told Tim Miller he could get her back for $38K, where did that come from? Is that what he stole from the drug dealer? Then when Tim said he could get the money, Ron became very vague about it. Why won’t Ron explain any further? Why 38K?
3.) From the first day, Misty made too much about pee on Haleigh’s blanket. She went into great detail about it several times. Then Ron say’s there was no detergent, how could she wash clothes, and dirty clothes were in both the washer AND dryer. (It’s a trick my dauther-in-law uses for a fast clean up.) What’s that line from Hamlet “Thou doth protest too much?” Was the blanket collected in evidence? Does anyone know where it is? was it freshly laundered? If so, she had to have washed it somewhere else.

Immediately after Haleigh was missing, my heart cried for Ron who was so convincing. No More, do I believe one word that comes from his mouth. I also believe Teresa Neves, Ron’s Mom) knows more that she is telling too.
How come we know nothing of Haleigh’s activities starting when she was picked up from school??? Do we really know if she arrived home or was missing in the afternoon hours?

Does Misty or Ron get to watch NG while they are in jail? I personally don’t think they should get to. But maybe that’s why NG hasn’t talked about them the last couple of days. Both are now media hounds and probably get some charge out of being mentioned. The only way they will get Misty to talk, is through sheer terror of being in prison for a long, long, time. Gosh, she is so young and facing possibly 125 years in jail. If I were facing that much time, and knew anything at all, I would talk. The police should keep interviewing their friends because someone knows something. Are they all afraid of Ron?

Also, the fact that G-grandma brought over clean clothes for Haleigh for school the next day confirms, in my mind, that there was no detergent at the house, as Ron said.
So, now I’m thinking, were they running around frantically cleaning up the house knowing police were about to show? You know they would have to stash any drugs, at least. Did one of them just throw piles of dirty clothes in the washer and dryer in cleaning up? Did they taint the crime scene purposely or not? That might explain why Ron said the bed was made–she’d pulled up the covers when cleaning up. How long did that take–or did Misty do all that before Ron got home?
And the 911 call is eerie the way Ron could go from a full out wordless wail to the dispatcher and in the same second says in a menacing voice “how do you let my daughter get stole, bitch.”
He may have his mama and Nancy Grace fooled, but I recognize his manipulation of people and he is really good at it. His mama says in the jail-house phone call that she knows he has to do what ever he has to do. I think he has convinced her that getting arrested was part of a big scheme to find Haleigh.
And then he has the gall to STILL try to implicate Crystal knowing it would be recorded and played on Nancy Grace. Everything he says on the phone is orchestrated–he has nothing to do put plan his script.

I have come to believe that whatever happened to Haleigh may have taken place before Ron went to work. Maybe Ron was mad at Misty for her 3 day drug binge and things got out of hand. Ron reportedly called Misty several times after he went to work, for what?? To convince her to make up the story about someone coming in while she was sleeping and taking Haleigh? No trace of Haleigh has been found, maybe she was in the vehicle with Ron when he left for work and dumped somewhere close to his work… woods, river?? Either or, I believe they both hold the answers and neither is willing at this point to rat on the other. Misty will soon feel the full effects of drug withdrawal and hopefully it’s not a pleasant experience for her. She will want intimate companionship that will not be available to her, all the things she has taken for granted are gone at only 18. I’ve never believed Misty directly harmed Haleigh, but she knows what happened…..

I don’t post often but I am always reading on your site. Thank you Art for keeping Haleigh in the spot light all of the time! What needs to be done to prevent this happening again to another child? How can the police be proactive instead of being reactive? It seems to me that the drugs in this area (and probably in all areas) are out of control. I hope the police dept. is working on cleaning up all of these drug abusers. Is it possible for the county to offer free addiction treatment along with education and job training? I think history will continue to repeat itself until there is an alternative treatment plan.

Art, I was wondering if next time your on NG why not bring up the topic of the Cumming family (TN, RC, and AS) turning against Misty and placing the blame on her regarding Haleigh missing and they suspect she is hiding something. IMO: this might help out the case for disclosure, since Misy’s mother is giving Misty info regarding the NG show. Just a thought!

Ron talking to Neves in the jail interview was pathetic. He sounded drugged, or talking very low, as if to pretend he didn’t want his conversation to get out,and she only said a handful of words..She sounded drugged..It’s everyone’s fault but Ron’s, and Neves keeps babying him..She messed up long ago with him, and now she is protecting him…If she really cared about him, why is he like he is today? She should have used tough love on him when he was younger, but maybe she wasn’t around while he was growing up..Too little too late now. You can run but you can’t hide, as he is finding out..
Eventually the drug world catches up with you..It’s too bad he or Misty didn’t have the guidance they needed growing up..They are two peas in a pod..I don’t feel sorry for either..They had a choice to say no to drugs, but chose to use, and sell!! Misty is repulsive, seeing her act defiant in jail you can almost SEE that she’s holding back what she KNOWS. She is going through the defiant stage, feeling like she’s got legs under her now that she’s been in jail for a few days. I’ve worked with abused women for years. The boyfriends all talk, walk, and act like Ron. The women often act like Crystal Sheffield, a deer in the headlights when quizzed and bullied by Nancy Grace.
Ron isn’t the kind of parent that Crystal could call up and say, “how’s her teacher? what’s her schedule?” She was terrified of him. Geraldo was lucky to escape from Zombieland in one place!

Actually, my sources tell me LE has been talking to Ron and revealing him the boo-hoo effect he’s been having on Misty when they play up his heartache over losing Jr and missing Haleigh. And asked him to play along, feeding him lines to tell her…Of course they can’t trust him, but you play the cards you’re dealt… Note the tape comments that she doesn’t give a ‘s– about her family members, LE believes, but Ronald still pushes her button. She shows off her RC tattoo just above her rear end to babe-mates in jail as evidence of her branding and his love, and admits she’s hurt to hear he called her a “friend,” not girlfriend. If he’s the only button they can push, why not use him as part of their psyops? Love me, love me not, love me, love me not…if that’s the tape that keeps playing, bubbling up in the cauldron of hurt and withdrawal haze, why not stir it, bubble bubble, toil and trouble, and see what frogs pop out of the swamp stew.

Ron, I feel strongly that Haliegh was given Oxys or vicodin (or any related narcotic) by Misty to shut her up while she wanted to sleep or have sex with Greg, etc.

2. Do we know if Junior was drug tested early on in the case? (babies are drug tested regularly)
3. Any more news about the anonymous letter stating the child died of accidental OD? (I did not find it to have any blaring deceptions)

I just want to know! So much about her is theatrical, but could a former prosecutor be that dopey?? Her “love affair” with Ron ended only because he can no longer appear on the show. She went WAY out on a limb when she said, “I know you Ron…” (as if he will be babysitting her twins anytime soon) and I understand why she did it, but…isn’t it a bit over the top? She should have cultivated more with bio mom in order to get some news. She sensed little there and bullied her off the show.
Anyway, do you know if anyone has informed her that a polygraph would not show deception if someone had NO memory of an event?

Art-per my prior post, it just has always seemed that Teresa Neves has been WAY too defensive on every front-the initially defended the position that Misty was NOT involved and knew nothing more regardless of the contradictory evidence, then changed her position point when it was more convenient to do so. She has defended what we all know are out and out lies in regards to Ron’s activities which she must have had some knowledge of as his mother. She also took liberty to knock Haleigh’s bio mother at all counts, which I felt was almost like pointing a finger. I could go on……don’t trust that woman, and I only continue to feel more so after hearing her briefly interact with Ron after his current drug bust incarceration. Did you hear her tell him NOT to say anything that could incriminate himself because “they are listening”?
Just seems she along with others showed little focus and emotion towards Haleigh during this whole ordeal, rather focusing on “Ronnie’s” well-being. Smells to me.

Art, the letter I am referring to is the one that Nay Nay allegedly wrote. Showing no obvious deception only means that what she says in the letter would need external cooberation. Art, something doesn’t fit here! If this was TRULY a hush hush plan by investigators, then wouldn’t they have redacted this portion of his phone call? It sounds to me like Ron felt he could divulge this info to his mother to comfort her and that this portion would be omitted from the public copy, but somebody messed up & didn’t redact it. Else, none of this makes any sense!

I agree with “Debi, Feb 10th post”. I don’t believe the grandmother stopped by at 8:00 & I don’t believe “someone” saw Haleigh playing with cousins either. The whole family would lie, including his Mom (they have always lied for Ron). Also, when TES sent Donna Brock to befriend Misty to get her to talk, they told Ron and RON CALLED MISTY TO GIVE HER A HEADS UP! Now, he told his Mom what LE wants him to say in order to get Misty to talk (fully knowing he was being taped & knowing that Misty’s family would tell her)! I BELIEVE HE IS DOING THIS BECAUSE HE DOESN’T WANT MISTY TO TALK…BECAUSE HE ALREADY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS DAUGHTER AND IT’S HIS FAULT! I feel that it happened before he went to work & that it was an accident (why 20+ phone calls that night!). MISTY LOVES HIM BUT IS STUPID & SCARED ENOUGH TO TAKE THE FALL FOR RON. Ron only loves Ron. My finger was pointed at him from the getgo! LE is permitted to lie to get someone to talk. I say, tell Misty that Ron has come forward and said that Misty got rid of Haleigh and tell Ron that Misty has come forward and said that he did it…interesting to see what would happen! I would bet the jail has given Misty the anti-depressants, look at the difference in her attitude from the earlier tapes to the more recent ones. It’s like two different people. Now she looks/sounds more confident, relaxed and defiant. If they are giving her the meds it’s a big mistake. Anti productive. She’s 18! She might have stress but it was brought on by herself and nobody should be giving her any relief from it, all it does is keep her in denial and allows her to still avoid the reality of what has happened. IMO.

Ron arriving for work early does not mean that he wasn’t involved. When someone mentioned in an earlier post that Haleigh possibly died before Ron left for work and he could have taken her her with him, it made me think of something. Ronald worked for PDM Bridge at the time Haleigh disappeared. Does PDM Bridge pour concrete for bridges or erect bridges where concrete would have to be poured? Just a thought.

I don’t know the law in Florida, but in Kentucky if you knowingly leave your child in the care of a drug addict or intoxicated person, you will be charged and prosecuted for a crime. Ron Cummings is guilty of child neglect and child endangerment by his own admissions, yet we have never heard anything from LE about charging him. If you allowed your child to play on the river bank and she drowned you would be responsible. How is leaving your child with these low lifes any less dangerous?

I would like to share something with you that probably you already know. Cadaver dogs can’t detect a dead body if there are pigs buried there also. It takes a very special dog to determine a human is buried, especially under these circumstances. I recall Ron’s mother going to some trailer and there was open space under it. Something about “pigs” being raised there, maybe buried there also. I know that all sounds a bit crazy, but Ron’s mother went to alot of trouble getting the bounty hunter down there. She split rather abruptly, maybe she got cold feet. Said she saw a snake.
I live in the desert and there was a case where several people went missing. No one could find their bodies. Not even the cadaver dogs could locate where these bodies where. They finially brough in a dog that was very keen to detecting human remains, and she found all the bodies. The killer had buried pigs around the bodies to deter the smell. You don’t have to post this, it was just a crazy thought I had.

Megan or Art, i have read the articles posted on the home page and didn’t see any info on cousin Joe. I have been very curious about him because all i heard previously was what Misty said and media reports that he and Ronald had been fighting. It was at that same time Ron made the comment “bring my daughter back, she’s not a thing, she is a child”. Maybe not word for word but close. Misty sounded like she was ready to blame her cousin and this was just a day or two after Haleigh disappeared. I would like to learn more about her cousin, can you tell me where to find it? Maybe a thread title or something? Thanks.( I hope LE has the time to read these posts, some may be redundant but you never know when an idea comes along that might grab their interest).

Art, I have went over the transcripts of the Nancy Grace Show for Feb.10th, because I could not hear them clear…I am really confused on who Ron is. Neves- You got Misty over in that cell, which no one could do. Ron, No body else could do…Neves, I’m very proud of you…. Art, is this saying he sold drugs to get Misty in jail??? And he will get out of these drug charges too??? What kind of picture are they painting for the public???? Also- Ron says, You know- If one of the two of them- you know the whole time we figured it’s got to be one of them. If it’s one of the two of them, they got them pinned in a corner now, because Crytsal can wait 6, 8 mo.s and here she is- pops up over here or where ever, in Tx. and moves to Montana, what ever, you know, so- but either way, we’ll know… Art, can you make sence of all this???? IF Haleigh was truly abducted by someone… WHO were their enemies? Who else knows Misty Croslin’s brother from Cape Cod, MA – he left town that week… who else left town.. who else disappeared? Come on, in a small town like Satsuma – everyone knows everyone! How about the school Haleigh attended? Who are the families? who is the bus driver? who are the students/parents of the kids who get off at the same bus stop as Haleigh?
WHY are we questioning WHO picked up Haleigh that day. That should be gospel from police!! And not brooded over on NG! Move on… Ron Cummings was cleared that night – he was at work! And if anyone thinks rationally, he left his kids with Misty who he knew was NOT mentally intact at the time he left his kids… who could be after a drug/weekend that’s been told to all of us?I would be calling her over and over too! And obviously she was irked, esp if she didn’t answer the phone. BUT what phone calls were recorded that night? Who were her contacts? I just can’t believe she would even attempt to do what she did, knowing Ron’s violent temper. And
who else would have revenge re Ron’s temper and ways with Misty? Who else was partying with Misty that weekend? Friends of friends are “who?”
Haleigh had to have gotten up out of bed, seeing the light on in the kitchen,
possibly hearing commotion- and removed from the home by someone in fear of either what Haleigh witnessed, or for revenge.. Ask Ron Haleigh’s sleeping pattern. Sound sleeper? Got up at night, esp. when he returned home? Remember that there was an argument going on between Misty and Ron prior to his leaving to work… was Haleigh disturbed by their altercation?

Art, you say the tapes are heavily redacted for T.V viewing..If so, and I believe they are, why are they showing partiality in the tapes? Misty and her family are made to look horrible, while Ron is portrayed the innocent victim. If Misty is responsible for Haleigh’s disappearance, I will be the first to say fry her.I am not convinced Haleigh wasn’t killed before Ron went to work, regardless of what the family says about seeing her outside playing. Families will lie to protect their own ..NG is determined to convict her..Why doesn’t she have a commentator on her show pro Misty? I’ve noticed when she did have an attorney on in favor of Misty he wasn’t asked to return. Pat Brown makes a lot of sense. She has it figured out. IMO I wish she were on more ..Ron is the main player, and Misty was his to do what he wanted with her, including getting drugs for them, and selling..Ron likes to date/marry teenagers, and mold them to his way of life. Misty wasn’t drugged the night Haleigh went missing..On the 911 tape she sounded alert, and relying on Ron to direct her in what to say..She was almost calm. Her panic showed the night she was robbed, not the night Haleigh went missing.. IMO

My theory, maybe Ron gave haleigh and Jr. some oxycontin to put her to sleep before he went to work, since he knew Misty had been up for 3 days prior and would probably crash in hopes the whole clan could sleep together until he came home from work. His Motive trying to avoid the kids not being watched by Misty knowing her state of mind and not having anyother babysitter. Then a possilbe drug overdose happed to Haleigh being Rons fault. Misty wakes up and Haleigh deceased with throw up from overdose and this is why the blanket was washed So they are both involved? This is as far as i get.

Will you please take a look at the video of Ronald Cummings in a blue striped shirt, holding a picture of Haleigh. He is wallowing on the ground giving his best impression of a grief stricken father when the cell phone he is holding in his right hand starts to ring. The cameraman zooms in on the hand and you can see multiple cuts, scrapes or abrasions. On his thumb, I will agree that one looks to be a hangnail, but not the others! It appears to me that those wounds came from digging in underbrush……like maybe trying to hide a body. Or, if my theory of what happened that night is correct, he grabbed Misty by the throat, and she clawed at his hand. The rest of my theory is that Haleigh tried to help Misty and was fatally wounded. Thus making it an accidental death. My point is, did anybody ever look at Ronald’s hands? Did anybody ever mention those injuries? What do you make of the Cuts? I understand he is a crane operator, so his job wouldn’t have caused these injuries.
Last thing. Do you have an address for Misty at the jail? I would like to write her.

Misty is scared to death to talk because even from behind bars Mr. Ronald Cummings is going in front of cameras and making threats… He will Kill whoever it is that had anything to do with Haleigh’s disappearance…. Misty and He both are playing coverup… of what actually happened… also Mommy Nieves is giving her baby boy an aliby with her additon of taking clothes over to the house that night for the kids… If she could be inconvenienced to drive clothes over there Why could she not be inconvenieced to watch those kids that night? Theresa Nieves is as good of a con artist play act as her son.. he learned well from her.. Kathy L, I’d like to take your questions one step further. Grandma Sykes says she was there after 7pm that night and the kids were eating on the porch. I’m in the south, (NC) and even though I’m not that far south, it’s dark at that hour in Florida. And in Febuary, N. Fl is cool after dark. I’d love to know the temp that night and what time the sun went down. I find it hard to believe you would be eating on the porch after dark in February. I don’t trust any of Ronald’s side of the family. When it suited her purpose, Grandma got angry when anyone suggested Misty wasn’t home that night. At that time, they wanted LE to believe Misty was kidnapped. Now, they want us to believe it’s Misty, Misty, Misty! I’m not sure I can trust the local LE in this case. How many times has charges against Ronald disappeared? TN has too much pull in that county with someone!

What finally happened to the lawsuit Crystal had against Kim? I had taken a break from all the daily news about Caylee and Haleigh as I had like most every body else invested myself so fully and emotionally that it was overpowering me to the exclusion of so much of my time I should have been paying more attention to my family.
You have done a marvelous job following all the ins and outs of this case. I have appreciated you and the work you have done immensely.

Sandy–One story we broke was that he punched the wall or the door, and his injured knuckles were immediately noticed by LE, and tested. Blood was also found on the wall he punched with indentations that matched his hand. art

Sorry Art, but I don’t buy it! His hand would not have bled on the wall that fast. You punch the wall, and maybe a few seconds later your hand would start to bleed, but not as soon as you hit the wall. Ronald did that in order to explain his injuries. He’s smarter than I give him credit for being. I didn’t really notice blood on his knuckles, but rather below the knuckles. Hitting the wall or door would have caused busted knuckles.
I have another question for you. The clothes that were scattered all over the floor……was there a clothes hamper near by? How about a clothes basket? Funny how gramdma came by to bring clean clothes and dirty clothes are piled on the floor! Was it emptied so the container could be used to take little Haleigh’s body out of the house unobserved? You could make a case that grandma was involved in hiding the body. Probably the reason LE dug up her farm!

I found the info I was looking for regarding the time the sun went down and the temperature when grandma claims she was at the house. It was 58/59 degrees between 7:00 and 7:30 pm. The sun went down at 6:11 pm. That is way to cold and dark for 4 and 5 year olds to be having their dinner on the porch. Grandma needs to be questioned again! She is either mistaken about the time, or she is lying. The high temp for that day was 74 degrees at 3:30 pm. If she came by at all, I’ll bet it was much earlier in the day.

Ron let it out of the bag, and if anyone trusted him to keep a secret, including investigators, bad move. Remember when he warned Misty in NYC when she was with Donna Brock that Brock was undercover for TES? Why would he do that if he really wanted to learn the truth about his daughter and thought someone might be able to get it, even someone he did not control? That sent Misty a message to be wary and keep quiet, no? Maybe by ratting out the investigator’s purported strategy to use him, he knows it will get out and wants Misty to know that, to warn her, no? Have his plea deal and eat it too…Course he can tell LE he thought they’d already made it public, his bad, and ask for another chance to find Haleigh.
Thoughts pertaining to Ron notifying Misty of Donna’s undercover status. Considering Donna has also been charged with trafficking….At the time they did not know Donna. Perhaps they were then selling to Donna. Instead the reason to notify Misty of the undercover to prevent finding Haleigh.I believe he notified her of Donna’s status in fear of getting trafficking charges.

This entire ordeal was a set up from the start. it was there way of strategy to get Misty and Ron behind bars to find Haleigh. Its called entrapment, and if they had a good enough attorney to handle this case, He would prove that.
Wheres Haleighs real mother in all this, word had it that she lived in 2 different states and all of a sudden just appeared, has she been questioned? I beleive Misty does not no what happened to the girl, Ronald does, im leaning towards the natural mother that probably has part in this in a very large way. Misty claims if she is let out she will speak, Well, let her out. what do u have to lose! its about finding Haleigh. Keeping her incarcerated isnt working obviously. Misty is not involved with this, look again at Ronald Cummings and his daughters natural mother, you will find answers there.

I hope Ron gets out of jail, I think without misty he would do just fine. He needs to turn his life around the way it was before he met no good misty. He used to have his kids a job and his own home and that didn’t last long once she came in the picture. Keep her in, let him out.

There is a lot suspicious about Ronald, I think. Even the drug charges, supposedly Misty is the "mastermind", the girl is dumber than a box of rocks, she couldn't mastermind anything.
In the tape where they arrest them the cop hands half of the pills to each of them to count so he has charges against both of them, however all Misty says is that there is a hundred there. Ronald says it's going take take him sometime to get rid of them in order to pay for them and the cop responds he has a couple of weeks. That prompts Ronald to exclaim that he can raise the money and eat the pills himself in that time. To me this indicates that Ronald is at the top of that particular food chain, he has Misty and the other ones out front doing the dirty work and making most of the deals so they catch the blame and he can once again make a deal. Like so many, many times before according to his rap sheet.

Ronald is a complete douchebag that uses young, dumb, immature girls for everything he can get out of them be it drugs, sex, babysitter or whatever.
Misty is bot smart enough to have outwitted these cops all this time if she was the one who killed Haliegh. If they go through with giving that parasite (Ronald) a deal to testify against Misty, especially when they don't need his testimony, that will be a real injustice all the way around, in my opinion. None of them seem to be innocent but I don't think it's right to put it all on Misty. Maybe they have just figured she would be the one to break first and get to the truth. I don't know what her part in Haliegh's demise was but I doubt that she is the ringleader there or any where else.
