Now, we’re invited back on HLN’s The Nancy Grace Show TUESDAY night to discuss the latest developments in the Haleigh Cummings case, after a call minutes ago from show bookers saying the show will focus the full hour tonight on the arrest of Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, charged with manslaughter Monday in Los Angeles.
In TV Newsland, breaking news trumps, even the sensational Misty Croslin family jailhouse tapes. After listening to a good hour of the Tommy (audio) Tapes, littered with F words over his predicament, an admission he brokered a Misty drug deal, anger at Misty for ratting him out on new burglary charges (he denies), fears his wife might leave him (and may need a sex toy to take his place) and a four letter tirade (from his brother, Timmy) at CNN HLN talk show host Nancy Grace…not to mention new audio tapes of Misty ex-husband Ronald Cummings using the N word to describe African American inmates in the Putnam County Jail…well, my head was spinning.
For literary value, it’s classic true crime dialogue that echoes with the richness and authenticity of small time punks and losers who reverberate in Elmore Leonard novels when he writes about South Florida’s naked underbelly…only this is as real as it gets…a squeeze play behind bars with a missing five year old girl’s life hanging in the balance…investigators hangnig on every word, like I did, sifting for clues amid the trash talk and tears, the cursing and regret, as Haleigh Cummings Uncle Tommy Croslin sobs how bad he wants to get out, desperate to kick drugs and rejoin a wife and three kids he fears losing.
As usual, there’s little mention of Haleigh, except the brother’s agreement that all the heat, the drug bust and their star-crossed destinies came crashing together as a result of Haleigh gone missing, their sister’s ties to the crime scene and what police believe she knows she’s not telling.
We’ll be talking about all this and more — now rescheduled for tomorrow night — if Haleigh’s case discussion goes off as planned.
We’ll be discussing four new Tommy Croslin tapes released Monday, as he speaks with his brother, Timmie and sister in law, Chelsea, three of Ronald Cummings (speaking with his grandmother, an unidentified young woman, and a visit with mother, Teresa, when she visited him in the Flager County before transfer to Putnam…and possibly new tapes of Misty Croslin confidant, Donna Brock, expected to be released Tuesday.
The former Texas Equusearch volunteer was dismissed after founder Tim Miller says he discovered her and Croslin were using prescription drugs while in New York for Croslin’s CBS Early Show appearance.
Reporter Steph Watts, (Wattsup news blog) a former booker for Grace, then producer for FOXNews’ Greta Van Susteren, told me he saw them with the drugs that weekend, including pot. We had a lively discussion about the case on Steph’s Blog Talk radio show last night you can click on.
Both Croslin, her brother, Tommy, Brock, ex husband Ronald Cummings and a Ronald cousin, Hope Sykes, are all being held in county jails in rural Florida on high bonds for trafficking in illegal prescription pills. Police say Misty remains the key to solving the case of Cumming’s missing five year daughter Haleigh.
It was then 17 year old babysitter Misty Croslin who reported her missing a year ago (Feb. 10), then married Ronald a month later. She denies knowing what happened to the child, and has flunked a voluntary polygraph given by Miller; she claimed in an interview with me last year she was told she’d passed a police polygraph. Those results have yet to be released by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, but sources close to the case tell me she was never told she’d passed. If that was her impression, she must have misunderstood what the examiner told her, sources tell The Bald Truth.

hi art what a great job you have done on this case , my hat goes off to you.i use to be no.1 fan of geraldo, and watched him ever since he has been on tv plus every nite i watched him on cnbc for years and when he left i was in tears and wrote him a nice email,well all the years of being his fan and watching him he never answered back and i quit watching him.but i will sunday only because you are going to be on

Art, what kind of a deal is Padilla making with Misty??? I thought he was saying he would bail her out if she gives the information as to where Haleigh is and they find her first??? I don’t feel that will happen, but it is the only deal I would give her… Mistsy looks, and sounds like she would do just about anything for her freedom… I feel if they promised a lite sentence on her (for Haleigh missing) she would then tell all….

Sorry you were canceled, Art..You could have taken Tim Miller’s spot..I only made two words out of his conversation..I’d rather listen to you, than some of those who don’t know as much about the case..I wasn’t able to find Steph Watts’ Radio segment on this case, in your reference above..Why aren’t we hearing more of Ron’s jail interviews? I can read a lot into him by his tone of voice. I hope we will hear more..I have found six of Misty’s interviews, and only one of Ron’s..Is there a reason we aren’t hearing more of his? Who is the “insider” who says Misty’s brother did away with Haleigh’s body? I saw this on the Haleigh segment tonight of Geraldo..It’s gossip like this that only slows the investigation..IMO This is the first time I’ve heard it, and if it were legit I’m sure I would have read it here before now. If Tommy ( I assume they were talking about Tommy) had a hand in disposing of Haleigh, don’t you think Misty would have ratted on him long ago? She’s done it before, for stealing. For the first time, I feel like Haleigh is going to be found in the next two weeks.. sadly, not alive..I have said I think one of the players in jail will crack in three-six months..Now I think Haleigh will be found first..Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but right now this case is red hot, and more attention in focused on finding Haleigh than ever before. I am still leaning toward finding her in a cemetery nearby, especially if she was killed by a close relative..If by someone else, and they alone did the disposal,I doubt a cemetery would mean anything, and they would likely dump her anywhere. IMO….

I think I just need to stop watching the trash shows on tv. I get so upset when I see people not given a chance by these so called media personalities. It is kind of like the old witch hunts and the media whips the public into carrying the torchs to burn the so called witch. Looks like destiny is preordained, Misty will go to jail for 20 yrs and Ron will be out in 4 months. Donna won’t even go to trial, Hank Jr will probably do a couple of years. The real kidnapper/killer will go free and repeat it all over again on an innocent victim. Geraldo is usually so down to earth and has seen so much, I was hoping he might see that Misty was also a victim.

I was a little bored tonight so I looked up Amber Brooks on myspace and found a picture of her and her son (Ron’s other son)Misty had left a comment on the picture a few months before Haleigh went missing IT Says I have your man and soon I will have your baby. I think that is very odd behavior…. A little obsessed with Ronald I don’t think her and Ron had been dating long when she wrote it..
I hope Haleigh is found soon.

Art- Neves is not 100% innocent in this. I don’t believe she is directly involved in Haleigh’s disappearance, and I do believe she is heartbroken. But, it appears the entire family played an indirect role in Haleigh’s disappearance, and that role/link is oxycontin. I still want to know, why Neves had a prescription for oxycontin, when, from what doctor, and did she ever fill multiple prescriptions, and perhaps with multiple pharmacies. Does/did Neves have a pain control issue, or cancer?? I don’t believe either are true for Neves. Why did Haleigh know how oxycontin taste like?? How did Neves know this to be fact??? For Neves to suggest Misty went astray just prior to Haleigh’s disappearance is total denial. The children in this family were doomed from the beginning. Legal drug prescriptions are the number one abused drugs currently in the US, because it is so accessible.
I have always wondered if Ron and Misty self medicated Haleigh with oxycontin when she was a nuisance, or had leg cramps. IMO, Ron knew and participated in this, and Neves knew drugs were accessible in Ron’s home, and to the children. Everybody played a role in Haleigh’s disappearance, yet Misty holds the key and the answers. It is not a shock or new news to anybody that oxycontin was accessible in Ron’s home. If anybody suggest this is a shock, they are in denial, or lying about such!!!!
For Neves to deny the facts, leads me to be more suspicious of her!!! And why Nancy Grace ignores Neves’ comments about oxycontin is as puzzling to me as much as Nancy Grace supporting Ron!!!

EXCELLENT COMMENTS RONALD! Notice how he stated he “believed what LE was saying” when they said that Misty is hiding info, and may know more than she is revealing. Once again, he is very careful when choosing his words and making comments!! He never,never, lets anyone get away with quoting him incorrectly. Yes, he has stated in the past that as things have progressed he began suspecting Misty could be “withholding information,” and even stated that he hoped that wouldn’t turn out to be true. DOES THAT MAKE HIM A LIAR? JUST MY OPINION, BUT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE HE’S THE ONLY PERSON IN THIS CASE WHO IS NOT AFRAID TO SAY ANYTHING! PROBABLY BECAUSE HE IS INNOCENT! Listen to his jailhouse recordings, he doesn’t say anything that would incriminate him. He is the only one who has kept his cool under pressure…He hasn’t even accused anyone. Listen people. Sorry to say this, but ART: imo, you are constantly selling out Ronald. Last week, NG commented that who cares if Ronald has a girlfriend….and you agreed with her!! WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL HER THAT YOU STATED IN YOUR OWN COLUMN THAT “A FRIEND” of Mistys told YOU that Ronald was seen in a grocery store with a woman who was supposedly his girlfriend?? Every time I leave a blog on NG’s site about Neves and her oxycontin comment, NG deletes it. I don’t use profanity or insult anybody in my blogs, yet they get deleted, as though NG does not want to report the facts. NG should report all facts, not just what brings in the ratings. After all, we are talking about a missing five year old child, and all facts and statements should be of importance!!! This drives me crazy, as much as NG still supporting poooooor Ron!!! Yes, poor Ron and his drug using spouse beating self!!! When NG admits drugs played a role in Haleigh’s disappearance, then she must admit Ron played a role, perhaps indirect role in Haleigh’s disappearance!!!

The caller on (a) radio show was speaking of a transcript of the police dispatch calls that is off the internet and used to be on the internet. This is not a 911 call. It is a dispatch report. The officer on his way to Green Lane puts in the call, another officer says I am right here at 116 Tyler (home of Tommy and Lindsey), the officer says what are you doing there? It is redacted. An officer was already at 116 Tyler when the 911 call came in from Misty and Ron.
And on the same transcript (which I can no longer find) it also says Haleigh last seen an hour and a half ago inside her home.

I don’t recall the exact context in which “leg cramps” were mentioned, yet I recall Misty stating that Haleigh had leg cramps in the interview she did while sitting in the back seat of a vehicle with her mother, early in the investigation.
Why the hell mention leg cramps when you are telling the world Haleigh was snatched right under your nose?? IMO, Misty mentioned this because Misty was already rationalizing the reasons why she gave Haleigh some oxycontin!! Misty was already working on her defense in case Haleigh was found, or the investigation turned on her, as it has. Misty gave Haleigh and perhaps Junior oxycontin, and it turned tragic, imo. It is a shame a drug test was not completed on Junior, as far as the public knows. And, it has been to long to have a hair follicle analysis conducted on Junior at this point.

i have been watching nancy grace for 2 years. i do not understand how uneducated, poor people like ronald and misty and the rest of them could have done something with hailey. i think she and her brother were probably neglected and maybe somebody in the area knew that. how do they even afford lawyers? the parents and the rest of them are like country bumkins. thank you for allowing me to cast my opinion.

Sorry I don’t follow your thinking…or understand the point you’re trying to make, but open to discussing…I do recall saying that Misty was in the supermarket and saw Ronald with a new girlfriend and he was using what Misty believed to be her foodstamps…but she hung back…I spoke with the friend who was with her…Don’t understand how that’s “selling out” anyone…I’m reporting info when I get it, in whatever venue I’m reporting in, whether The Bald Truth, television or radio…I do think his relationship with Misty and others is relevant to Haleigh because those ties, whether to Misty or anyone else, need to be explored and understood so anyone with a connection to them can be questioned. art

In jail, on the latest Ron tapes, he admits he was prescribed powerful painkillers like Percocet for back pain…and hopes he can get Loritab for an exposed nerve on his tooth, versus milder tramadol… or might have it pulled at the risk of losing his status as one of the few people in Putnam County with “all 32 of my teeth.” Maybe that’s why the painkiller epidemic is so rampant in Florida, bad tooth hygiene and unaffordable dental care across the population, creating a mass demand for yanked teeth and painkillers to cope, or endure those who try to keep bad teeth as long as possible…?? — art

Hi Art! I am disappointed you won’t be on Nancy Grace tonight; perhaps she will devote the entire hour to Haleigh Cummings on Wednesday evening, the one-year anniversary of her disappearance.
I maintain that Misty, Haleigh and Junior were not home for at least part of that evening; I believe the made-up beds are the tell-tale clue. (And of course, Tommy’s story to the cops that he went by the trailer after 10:00 PM, pounded on the door and there was nobody home lends credence to my theory). I also believe that Misty gave Haleigh drugs, perhaps Junior as well, to get them to go to sleep, (maybe left them in her car while she partied with her pals, or perhaps while she ‘paid’ for her drugs), and because of Haleigh’s Turner Syndrome, the drugs supressed her breathing to the point of a fatal outcome. (I think if Haleigh had ‘accidentally’ gotten into meds, Misty would have been able to tell that to the cops — vs. her willingly giving the child illegal drugs). I believe Haleigh died that evening and that her body was placed in water. (The H2O is just a psychic hunch on my part).
I feel terribly sorry for Misty for everything BUT the lying she has done to conceal what she knows about her stepdaughter’s death. Regarding criminal behavior, I always base my opinion about someone one the way they behave AFTER a crime has occured. Look at the footage of Misty the day after Haleigh’s disappearance, when she’s arm-in-arm with Ronald and smoking like a pro; that’s no innocent seventeen year old you’re looking at! And that’s not a person out of her mind with grief and worry, either — except for the shaking of her hands you can see when she’s being interviewed with her Mom — and that must be withdrawal from drugs.
I am nearly obsessed with this case and solving the crime(s) so that Haleigh might at last be found and justice served. I agree with what many of your bloggers write about Ronald having an absolute hand in this with the way he conducted his life, the choices he made about drugs, young girlfriends, his anger and abuse. His mother Teresa seems sympathetic EXCEPT when she rallies to her son’s defense when common sense and her obvious love for her grandchild beg for something better. Misty should have NEVER had that much responsibility for such precious cargo — and Teresa knows,(KNEW!)that on some level.
I have the ‘disadvantage’ of not being able to think like a drug user, since I have never done drugs, but I have been in a passionate relationship for most of my life, and I know that when you’re fighting on the phone with your partner, as heated as it gets, you cannot resist the urge to keep your phone turned on — because you WANT to know if they call you! Misty obviously didn’t want Ron to get a hold of her — because she was doing something he would not approve of, be that feeding drugs to his children, partying with her friends when she was supposed to be at home with these kids, or having sex with another guy, probably as payment for more drugs.

hey art, haeligh wants to know, when are they gonna come to get her?.maybe you should give it a try since you live there.or please at least try to talk to someone that can actually do something,like her mom or grandma.you shouldn’t take this for granted,because if you remember,Dominic Casey didn’t.he actually promised little caylee Anthony that he would come and get her,this was after i did the connection with her to talk to him.Mr,Dominic Casey.i remember he was crying wile talking to her,that’s when he promissed her,he would come find her/after she told hin she was behind her grandmas house…….

I have a few comments about the above posts. I agree with you 100% Art about the cost of dental ( and health) care, people without insurance do what is cheapest, self medicate. Dr’s and dentists know patients with no insurance will be hard to get payment for services from but feel obligated to help them somehow so they write a script for painkillers. For many people it’s probably temporary but for people like the ones we are talkng about they are more “streetwise” and could go from one dentist or Dr to another, but why did someone go to Virginia to get them? Who is from there? *Notice how even in jail Ron and Misty have both managed to get some form of medication?
As for Ms. Neves, i remember her comments about oxycontin and my impression was that she said she had taken them before(aha) and they had a bad taste so she didn’t believe Haleigh would eat one. I don’t think she said that Haleigh knew what they tasted like. She most likely had an idea of some drug use with Ron and Misty, Misty had told her she had just been drugged out for three days and didn’t want to watch the kids that night, Ms. Neves then offered to pay her to. Knowing what she knows now, that decision to not watch the kids and instead have Misty do it has probably haunted her ever since. I think just as with Cindy Anthony, Teresa Neves spent a lot of time babysitting the grandkids.
I also remember Misty talking about Haleigh having leg cramps that were a symptom of her illness. Art, as many times as i have seen the clips can you refresh ( or someone here) my memory of why she was explaining that in an interview? I thought it was because someone had asked her about Haleigh’s health issues but i’m not sure. It didn’t occur to me at the time that she had a motive for talking about it, but back then we were not aware of their taking prescription meds either.
)
Ron seems to know about many kinds of painkillers. Given what he’s in jail for i’m somewhat surprised he’s so freely naming them even though it’s not a crime to know what they are it does show his knowledge of them. Ronald (from the tapes we have seen so far on NG) seems to be the only one not very concerned about the position he is in. Maybe he just knows it’s not wise to say too much due to the non privacy of the visits and calls. The others seem desperate and panicky while he talks about boxers and showers, but we haven’t seen that many of his tapes yet.
I don’t know ( of course) if Tommy Croslin had anything to do with Haleigh’s disappearance or not but the more i see of him the more i wouldn’t put anything past him. At the minimum he is a thief and i cannot stand thieves. They do not care about who they steal from and have no feelings of guilt. He has kids but risks his family life to go out and steal from people who earn what they have just to avoid having to work himself. Did he have a job? How did he support his family before all this happened?
Even the grandmother knew they were selling pills, that’s pathetic. Anyway, i look forward to seeing more of the jail tapes, it gives us a better picture of the kind of people involved, and to be honest to see them squirm now that they are incarcerated. The bottom line is there are only two scenario’s, one is they know what happened to Haleigh and the other is a stranger abduction and it does not seem like the latter.
Keep up the good work Art, with you being able to speak with the parent’s maybe it will help them convince Misty to talk even if it means she has to turn on her brother or cousin if they are involved. If she didn’t do anything herself i think she knows who did and if it’s a family member, she’s trying to protect them.

Seems like every male Misty talks to she calls them Bubba. Looking at Misty now compared to how she looked in the interviews in Fla and on tv, you see what a child she really is. It’s interesting how her voice sounds like that of a child and the tears flow when she’s asking someone for bail money but as soon as they say they can’t get that much money she goes back to talking normal again. She’s learned to play them like a fiddle. If anyone can get her to talk it will be her father. I will reserve my comments on his overall parenting skills but he seems to be doing the right thing with Misty now. He is giving her advice she may not want to hear but she will think about it. I’m sure he’s feeling the pressure and is tired of it.When he told Misty that the Haleigh stuff has to come to an end, her response ( if innocent) should have been “i dont know anything, or, “there’s nothing more i can tell them because i don’t know”, instead she says ” i might tell them something”. I noticed when he started talking to Misty about Tommy she got very defensive saying “well i’m in here too”.
I have been wondering Art, where is Ronald’s father? Have we seen him at any time and i have forgotten? I just don’t remember ever seeing or hearing about him.

Ronald’s calling blacks “N*****s” won’t gain him any popularity in jail; in fact, he should request guards nearby when he is showering, and hope they aren’t black guards accompanying him.. I predict a rough time ahead for him..He is requesting Loritab for a bad tooth? I doubt the jail would pass out painkillers like candy when an inmate complains of pain..It sounds like a plea for drugs to support his habit, especially since he requested the drug he wanted by name..If it’s serious, get it pulled..After hearing his tape, I am sickened by his language, and “holier than thou” attitude..I think all the media attention at the beginning of this case, and even now somewhat, posing Ron as the grieving father of Haleigh, and his “woe is me” attitude,went to his head..He thinks he is the media darling, and can do no wrong,until the little “set back” as he calls it happened.. This little set back is temporary, and soon he can return to life as he knows it, or so he may think.. I was wonder if Misty was ptaring 3 nights and was high on these drugs and put the kids to sleep. Could drug dealer come in the house if Misty forgot to lock the door before she pass out. For the sake of TV and Nancy Grace, she can’t explain or ask every question but I too am curious on the Grandma N comment of knowing what Oxycontin tastes like “BITTER” You not suppose to break the medication up, Plus why is she taking it.
I wish that N. Grace would of asked her how she new this.
I believe the whole family is in on the Sales of these Drugs, I mean all of them too. How can they not be. They all seem to go to Dr’s and whine and get the meds and sell them, Apparently the Dr’s they go to Dont care.
None of them have sat in Jail long enough to feel there conquences of How much trouble they are in.
I am just tired of the B.S stories they give- We need the truth as I really don’t think either one of them will be walking out of there anytime soon or if at all.
Let them suffer. Maybe they can Educate themselves for the years & years they will be there.

The other night, the comment was made that authorities believe that Haleigh’s death occured in her own home. If that is true, why would Ron continue to keep seeing Misty, in whatever shape or form their relationship is in that day? In other words, Ronald may actually have some complicity in his daughter’s inexplicable, unexplainable disappearance. Maybe she DID ingest a drug but maybe it was RONALD’S fault drugs were lying around. Could that be a reason for him to remain quiet about what he knows? Partial culpability. I also don’t get why, when Misty begged off of babysitting Ron’s kids due to her drug/sex/bender/weekender, Teresa Neves offers her MONEY to do it. Shouldn’t she have been worried about an underaged, overdrugged teen-child watching her sons’ children? In another letter within this site, someone posits that Ron may have been alibi’ed by his boss (could be true; happens all the time)and could have actually raced home to kill his daughter on purpose. I really just have to comment on that email, because it was so out of the box as to be nearly nonsensical. (no offense to the author)
Ps Art, it totally sucks when unimportant news like MJ’s doctor/killer takes precedence over Haleigh news! I’m like blah blah blah, move it along already! Over and out!

ART: It just seemed to me that you acted like you had no idea about that comment, I just don’t like seeing gossip in your column, but I am intrigued about some of your readers who seem to have really good inside info, llisa mentioned a dispatch recording, seems very relevant, wish you would say something about that tonight on NG..I think the people who are writing into your column should be on NG, seriously, they seem to know alot. The comment Ms. Neves said about oxycontin puzzled me too, like it was just ignored. Oxycontin is NOT A DRUG that is easily prescribed except for severe pain. Sadly, it IS one of the most popular street drugs now. This may sound strange, but I know Ronald has admitted to his drug problems in the past, whereas everyone else in the case are constantly denying their past drug/arrest histories!! It makes me laugh when I watch the Croslin brothers and their wives act so innocent and RECITE their staged conversations!! I would rather listen to Ron talk to his Grandma about his clean underwear and how many showers he takes…Also, did you or any of your readers notice how when Misty Croslin’s Dad was talking to her, his speech was very slurred, sunglasses on, and was sounding as if he was trying to get her to answer his questions as if to incriminate her. The kind of stuff he was saying to her, and asking her, imo, sounded like he was attempting to be an informant!! And please explain why Timmy Croslin and his wife moved so far away up to Mass. when she was about to have a baby, and conincedentaly the sighting of possibly Haleigh in the walmart in that area at the same time???Just doesn’t make sense to me.

could uou discuss how misty and ronald aford all thier lawyers? are the lawyers doing it for media attention? they do not seem to have 2 dimes to rub together. i thought i heard misty:s father tell her at the jail he did not have a telephone? this case has me baffled. i do not think they are smart enough to put together a kidnapping or a murder or accidental death and keep it quiet. somebody has to know something and i do not think it is any of them

I haven’t been able to get back here for a few days and I’ve missed a bunch. I did get to listen to Ron’s two latest calls this morning and as always they are informative concerning his new girlfriend and his only taking hydrocodone for back pain and Grandma’s soft agreement. I think she rightly understood that it was for LE to hear. She’s nobody’s dummy for sure. I’m wondering now why we haven’t heard from or seen Misty?? Did all of her calls and visitors stop? Anxious to hear Donna Brock’s calls too.

I am believe more and more each day that Misty was so exhausted that night Haliegh went missing that she gave Haliegh a drug to put her to sleep. Do any of ya’ll remember someone said Misty and Ronald were fighting that night because 1. Misty said Haliegh wouldn’t go to sleep and Ronald to her to spank her and 2. I believe there was a party going on somewhere and she didn’t want to watch the kids. I think she doped up the kids left the back door open and the screen door proped open and either Haliegh passed away from too much dope or someone came in while Misty wasn’t home. Any thoughts are do ya’ll think I am way off?

As time goes on, I find it much more difficult to watch Nancy Grace… She is so rude and one sided. There has been very intellegent people (I’m sure had good answers) that have been cut off. It does not help with people telling her how they just love her…. She has been so rude to Crystal and refuses to say she is also a mother in pain. If NG continues her ways, I don’t see how her ratings will stay up… I was shocked that NG let Pat Brown say what she did about Ron without cutting her off…. Art, I want to thankyou again for keeping up with the story of Haleigh…Thankyou so much… I enjoy reading all of the questions and comments, and feel that your website is the only one that makes the story of Haleigh come to life and truth… And through you and all the hard working people on this case, the truth will prevail…

I really have a problem with an area that no one has touched upon, and that is Ron’s many arrests and serving no time, for drug sales, and possession. What I think is that Ron’s is a NARK for the police department. That is why they are keeping him separated from the general prison population. Half the people in there were probably people he squealed on and consequently they are in prison now, because of him. Best to keep him isolated, otherwise they will definitely mess him up.
What I seriously think happened to his daughter was retaliation for ratting on someone high in the drug chain. That is why he said, “She is not yours, and she is not a possession”. Another words don’t mess with my family.
I believe that Misty was set up. Either she left the trailer enticed with getting high, or they came to the trailer and gave her drugs, had sex with her and she passed out. And when she returned (or woke up) the little girl was gone. She is afraid that Ron will kill her, if she spills the beans about the drug deals. That is why on the 911 tape he said,” Why did you let them take her, B***h. He knew that he had named some names of drug dealers that he should have kept quiet about. That little girl is long gone. Ron knows it, and Misty knows it. And the reason she won’t talk is that she is afraid that the drug dealer will get her next.
Just a different slant on this situation, I am sure the police are more aware of what is really going on. Its called retaliation. If she is still alive, she is probably in Mexico, sold to the highest bidder. Hay Ron, I think you got caught.

I don’t know the more I watch NG the more frustrated I get. It’s all about Misty (bad bad Misty). Misty is a product of her environment. What was she 16 17 when she met Ron (a kid). Is he not at all responsible for taking advantage of a minor? Who knows how she got involved in the drugs. Seems Ronald had a pretty active past in the drug scene. Although for some reason he was never convicted. I wonder who of the two had all the connections. I just can’t take much more of this poor Ronald stuff. And who knows what connections he may have had at work. Seems half the world is addicted to prescription drugs now. Maybe, someone was willing to lie for him at the job. I don’t know I just think that when people are consumed with addictions that becomes the impetus of everything they do. Kids are not safe in those situations. JMO

This is just a sad tragedy for this child.Childern in that area live a sad life.Palatka is so over ran with drugs it can never be cleaned up.And an area where people like Ron and Misty thrive on to survive selling drugs.It is the children who suffer.I just hope and pray this baby can be found ,to just be put to rest in a decent place .And I hope they all get their dues and they will for sure,if not on earth in HELL.I just hope some kind of justice can be reached NOW! And as for Misty’s lawyer I don’t see how he can defend her he has nieces and nephews and now a great niece.How would he feel if people like them did something to one of his own.And Art keep up the good work.

I started watching Nancy Grace only as a result of learning of George Anthony’s suicide attempt because I wanted to reach out to him and get daily updates on his condition via watching Nancy’s Show. As I watched it, night after night, I became increasingly righteously outraged at the way Nancy
exploited the Anthony tragedy for high ratings! I was out-raged to become aware of how a tabloid news show like this was allowed to make a mockery of the judicial court system
…and then, when I learned of the Melinda Duckett suicide suitcase against Nancy, I resolved I’d do everything in my power to get this show off of the air since it, in the name of justice, promotes the very hatred and unforgiveness that AUTHORS crimes of murder! Ya know, when Hank Croslin made the statement, “Nancy Grace aint no Christian lady”, all I could think of is “Out of the mouth of ‘babes’” comes such truth! As a Christian psychologist, I am appalled at Nancy Grace’s…and everyone else’s.. lack of Christ-like compassion toward Misty Croslin because, while, yes, Misty is suffering in jail because of the consequence of her sin, nonetheless, our Lord weeps with Misty, in her suffering… He does not show contempt for her because Christ’s love always loves the sinner while, concomitantly, hates the sinner’s sin…A reality that is foreign to Nancy which is why Hank spoke the truth when he state that she “aint no Christian lady.” Nancy Grace is the last person who should state, as she stated last night, “It’s all about me, me, me, me, me, me” since Nancy Grace is such a self-centered ego maniac that she gets angry at anyone who dares to dis-agree with her! A reporter, recently, referred to Nancy’s qualifying for the title of “hypocrite of the year” due to the fact that Nancy did not want her deposition made public because it might embarrass her and influence the jury pool! Nancy’s hateful attitude toward Misty bears witness to the fact that this woman has no remorse over the fact that her vindictive, hateful, MO cost a woman her life…and I can state that with assurance…and the reality OF that fact does not rest on whether or not Melinda Duckett was guilty of the crime Nancy wound up “trying” her for (I happen to believe Melinda was innocent, but, again that is not relevant)…And Nancy is “doing” to Misty what she “did” to Melinda and she should not be allowed to do this! As Christ said, “let he who is without sin, throw the first stone!”

Like a lot of other people out there, i think everyone wants to see that Haleigh is found.This is just such an ongoing saga, and god only knows what has happened to this poor little girl. I must say, my opinion is that i would hold Ronald ultimately responsible for the situation. First of all, he was the legal custodian of both his children, not Misty Croslin. Secondly he saw fit to leave these children in the care of an obviously irresponsible teenage girl! What was he thinking really? The teenager Misty Croslin should of been with kids around her own age, doing what teens do, not the instant step parent of two very young children. He is a man of 25 yrs. of age, or is it 24? He had no business being with such a young girl. If it were my son, i would of verbally kicked his butt for that, and tried to talk some sense into him.
The one thing in this case i do find perplexing is, if anyone remembers early on in this case, it was mentioned that Haleigh was taken, and so were her medication for the illness she has/had? I write this way because we don’t know wether she is alive or not. I think if someone just randomly took her, would they bother with this? If it was someone that didn’t know her, then they would not have even known about her syndrome or medication for it. So maybe it was someone they knew that took her. There are so many scenarios that this case could be, its anyone’s guess really!
