Clarification: No Bond for Misty Croslin Here!

I was shocked to see a chyron go up on air quoting Lisa Croslin telling daughter Misty that “Art Harris” was trying to bail her out.
In fact, I’ve never even spoken with her mother or Misty about bail, but have been chasing a variety of rumors suggesting someone sees gold in them thar hills, and asking other family members, who if anyone has approached them about it, as well as her lawyer, Robert Fields.
In an exclusive interview with the Bald Truth Thursday, Misty’s sister, Chelsea, tells me that Fields doesn’t trust any third party type who has approached him to talk bailing out his client. Good instincts.
Sounds like he’s finally breaking through to Croslin.
In a recent jail house phone call to her family—it’s on a jail phone tape if you listen to them all — Misty relates how Fields told her “someone is trying get me out of jail, but Robert doesn’t want them to bail me out because then they would have a right to revoke my bond if I don’t give them what they want…So he’s trying to do it by himself.”
But even if someone does put it up, she fumes, “I have to go in front of a judge and (prove) its not fucking drug money.”
Bond for Misty Croslin is no slam dunk. First, the bond is astronomical, $1.35 million, for eight counts of drug trafficking, and that requires 10 percent paid up front to the bond company to guarantee the rest a or a cash equivalent of $135,000 would be ordinarily be required, unless a bailbonds would take less cash and finance the balance.
If you listen further to the jail tape where Lisa Croslin gets it wrong, you’ll see where Hank Croslin, who I have interviewed numerous times, corrects his wife’s confusion to Misty:
Hank: What your mom say to ya?
Hank: Somebody suggested they was tryin’ to come up with the money or something, but Art Harris is just looking for a story. Don’t worry. I mean if somebody will bond you out, that’s fine, I’m all for it.” But he does add, “Misty, you gotta get to the truth and get this shit over with.”
Later, on one tape, Misty mentions Cobra has been knocking, and that Leonard Padilla has also been offering to raise the money to get her out. Fine, it’s their business, but I still don’t have to like it in this case.
I think Misty Croslin is right where she needs to be, and so do LE, and it offends me anyone would try to jump into the fray for publicity and try to spoil all their their hard work getting the ex Haleigh babysitter where she is now–—behind bars in a position, finally, to maybe crack, and cough up some truth, or face maybe 180 years behind bars for drug trafficking after she admitted on tape to her parents during jailhouse visits she made numerous drug transactions.
Did you read one transcript that quotes her brother, Tommy, calling the cops “stupid?” He’s mad his wife mentioned cops raiding hishosue joked about his big ears. Sure sounds like fighting words. Between that attitude, and a mother who can’t figure 10 per cent of $50,000, it’s easy to understand how family members might get a few other things wrong, and why Misty believes jail shoudl be the Ritz Carlton. I’m hungry, I’m cold, I want honey buns, I want candy, I want a comb.
Even if Padilla or anyone else could pull off bond, Misty’s lawyer will insist on control to protect his client, and that no ethical bounds are crossed. He’s got a big job.

Well I’m certainly glad your not putting up the bail cause it’s been thought with the add on your page that you were. Cobra isn’t gonna get to do it I don’t think cause the Lawyer isn’t going for him but Padilla might pull it off. I think it’s a big mistake, but he’s approching it differently then with Casey’s bail he wants the info up front. Only thing is I hope to heavens that the info she comes up with isn’t some made up story just to get out. She almost seem to ask permission when she said I think I’m gonna tell the something. She’s so clueless what she’s facing, she doesn’t know she’s gonna spend the rest of her life in there for this. Even going light would be the rest of her childhood and young womanhood. She’ll be old when she gets out. What a perfect waste of a life. Any story she comes up with might lead to new charges of child endangerment. She got Wasted, now her life is wasted.

I really don’t care if she is bonded out, IF it will make her tell what happened to Haleigh. Padilla has stated Misty will have to tell him, and her attny where Haleigh is before she is bonded out..I doubt that will happen..She’s not going anywhere..Fields has control…He should remind her that the jail conversations are taped, and viewed by LE, and the public..IMO

Please take a look at Ron’s employer again. He provided the alibi for Ron. I believe that Ron left his place of work to commit the crime. With his friends from work. What was he wearing? Junior described a “man in black.” What was Ron wearing that night from work? Was he dressed like the “man in black” that Junior described? Please don’t ignore this. Ronald Cummings is the person you need to focus on. I believe that Misty was out cold when Ron eventually showed up at the trailer that night. Probably with some guys from work. He had already called her 20 times. He was horny. Ron somehow left his place of work and did this. Then he set up the scene so that it looked like Haleigh had been abducted. Ronald Cummings abducted and killed Haleigh. He did this with help from his co-workers and he made it seem like if anyone was to blame, it was his girlfriend, Misty. She was so fucked up, he knew that she could not say anything against him. This man is a pedophile. Please do not ignore that.

Thank goodness you clarified that, ART, about NOT bailing out Misty. When I heard that on NG tonight I about choked on my diet pepsi. I thought to myself, “Not ART……….don’t even go there!” LOL I can imagine how you felt hearing that on national TV. I kept waiting for you or Nancy to go into that info further….but nothing was said. I wonder why. Couldn’t you have clarified that right away? Just curious. THanks again for all you do to keep us informed.

LE should just take Misty to visit her future home Prison. Let her get aquainted with what she can expect in the near future. She won’t have to fear Ronald’s threats any longer. But what she will have to fear is her everday movement in Prison.
Or they can move her straight to the General Population in jail. Misty needs to know that this is not a game this is reality.
Misty has proven time and time again that she does not fear her family, and that to is to include Tommy. Misty has no problem in turning Tommy into LE for things that she knows he has done and hasn’t done(she will make up lies and blame Tommy). That’s one reason I see Tommy as the scape goat in Haleigh missing. He was placed at Ronald’s request at the trailer at a time when Misty was not home nor the kids? Tommy’s brain does not function well enough to leave no trace. Remember Tommy is a thief, drug addict and stupid, he has broken doors, windows, and stolen from the blind etc., to enter homes and do his criminal activity.
However, Tommy is stupid enough to help cover up anything else he might know about Haleigh missing. Just to get out of jail, Tommy would have no problem cutting a deal or telling LE anything else that he might know about Haleigh missing.
On the other side, Misty is afraid of Ronald (has proven so on National TV). Thus far she has never said anything against Ronald, and has time and time again covered up for him.
The person or people who know what happened to Haleigh, knew the trailer well enough to know that the screen door closed when not held by something (such a cynder block), but what was forgotten is that the inside door when not held by an object also closes by itself? Misty has no problem saying Tommy did this or Tommy did that, so I can only imagine that if she does come out and say anything she will try blaming Tommy, he is the scapegoat.

So, Art, seems you have pre-convicted Misty too. People say things, as in the case of her Mother, under duress. Not realizing she was being recorded to be on the news at 6 pm. Could be she came up with a name that was a familiar that might give her daughter hope. Lambasting the whole family is really not necessary. I sincerely hope if it is a pedophile in the community he will eventually be caught but I think it will be too late for that poor family.

Art , I was in awe whrn I first heard that on NG. Then as the program continued and it re-played some of the transcripts. I knew Lisa Croslin had it wrong. I knew something was wrong. Art you seem to be the bulls eye on the dart board lately. Everyone wanting to send flying darts your way.

Great article! Frankly, I think Misty is in the best place possible. She will eventually get all the drugs out of her system, and hopefully, become more rational. I hope that the jail has some kind of 12 Step that she is allowed to attend. It’s pathetic to see someone so young and wasted.
I think LP is making a serious mistake if he tries to post her bail. I think he likes the attention.
I have never believed that Misty killed Haleigh. I do think some type of accident occured, and Misty is afraid to tell Ronald. He has stated that “He will kill” whoever hurt his child.

IT seems to me that the only shred of hope that Misty is hanging on to is the fact that she could be bailed out. She is so desperate to believe it, she and her family are convinced it’s only going to take $5,000.00 more than what they have now. If that hope was ripped out from under her then maybe reality would set it. I don’t honestly think the harsh reality has hit her yet and that is what she needs if she is ever going to talk. I mean seriously …. a one point Lisa tells her they don’t even have gas money an her Dad tells her they need a place to live. Does MIsty honestly believe they will get enough money together for bail?
If the Cowboy or the Snake want to bail her out, then I guess nobody can stop them but I think it would be a grave mistake. These people are about as far from functional as can be …. combine that with the lack of education and the penchant for drugs and it is little wonder that Haleigh ended up gone. Same goes for Ron except he fancies himself as a street wise thug …. wish someone would fix his litle red wagon too. They all make me sick.

This is the way of life for these people. Bail bondsmen, lawyers, arrests, drugs. This is very familiar to them as you can tell in listening to the conversations going back and forth between them.
Granted that Misty has the emotional level of a 12 year old but this kid, more than likely due to her own lack of parental upbringing, has been a child of the streets for years, she is no dummy in that regard. There seems to be few boundaries involved with any of them. Didn’t Mom just bail out herself only weeks ago? And Tommy just keeps digging his hold deeper and deeper as he meanders through life with no fixed goals other than to get high and rob his neighbors. And where were these “loving parents” when Misty at 16 moved in with a man 8 years older with two kids when she should have been in school? Statutory rape was something they could have pursued as a means of parental control but instead they just looked the other way probably glad to get her off their hands.
The longer she remains behind bars the faster she may decide to come clean. It may have been an “accident” that led to Haleigh’s disappearance in that she may have been administered a potion to keep her quiet but Misty has some involvement and knows the truth. My belief is that she is scared to death of Ron and his reaction more than anything else.
He is crazy enough to carry out his threats of killing whoever is involved and his actions promote that theory as he has acted out on more than one occasion.

Oh Please enough of everyone acting out like kids. Cops making jokes, guards turning TV’s away just because they can, do they stand in the hall and say NAH NAH NAH NAH too? IMHO Misty is reacting as anyone would who is being confined up, down, strong, together, falling apart I would think there is not one set emotion a person has during being confined. I interpret her saying something more to do with the drugs. However I don’t know that as a fact and neither does anyone else, neither does NG. Enough with her being a hypocrite and distorting facts for ratings she is doing it at the expense of Haleigh…shame on her. What has happened to people? What ever happened to innocent before guilty the land of evolved and civil. I read on Nancy Grace FB people suggesting to rip out body parts “rip her uterus out” “kill the trash” OMG children are reading this stuff what does that teach them? Why such a hate and violent reaction on human life, what happened to you? None the less how about drilling Lindsay for those answers, oh right her husband…commander and master has ordered her not to speak. How about we wait for trial and for facts to come to light.

“someone sees gold in them thar hills”…ok, now for my speech. Everybody knows that many people on this earth are not as fortunate as others in their heritage/upbringing. To make fun of such is a reflection in the mirror of your mothers’ errors in discipline as your were growing up, how you were taught. This is not a good quality in anybody. It will come back to bite you in the rear end through your children, grandchildren, etc. in some form. Some mothers prefer drug usage over further educating their children and probably how they were raised. Nancy Grace, whoever wrote this article and the list goes on and on should consider adopting some of Jane Velez Mitchell’s habits. She called a woman down on one of her shows when this lady referred to the Cummings as “trailer trash.”

I hope Haleigh is found safe but I doubt it. The culprit of most crimes is drug related and that’s why LE is so hard on drug pushers or users. I hope I’m wrong but this is my theory: Haleigh will not be found by anything Misty has to confess. The only confession she has to make is giving exact details of where she was the night Haleigh went missing, who all was in attendance at the drug party. She blacked out and knows nothing about who took Haleigh or what happened to her UNLESS she remembers Haleigh grabbed a pill thinking it was candy. Ronald Cummings surely doesn’t know. Misty lied from the start about where and what had taken place that night. Probably sleeping around and doing drugs, she was horrified about the truth coming out and getting back to Ronald. Because of drug usage, in this scenario or any, is an accomplice to the facts and, therefore, guilty of a crime to an extent…being in a blackout or not. Misty needs to give all names of her so called friends so LE can administer a lie detector test on these individuals.

You know, kick my butt if you want, but I do feel sorry for Misty. Do I think she should be in jail? Heck yea! But look at her family, boy friend, relatives etc. This girl didnt have a chance. I think it is hard enough when kids go through teen years in a good environment, never mind doing in this one horse, drugged up, child molesting, child killing, child abusing state. But I do believe her saying she is hungry is just playing on mommy’s sympathy. She knows no mother wants their child hungry. I still say, and stick by it, that Ron and Tommy had something in this BIG TIME! She may even be their cover up……

You can Clearly see Misty is a liar. When told by her mom Ronald has a girl friend and when Missty said I don’t care. She had the same lieing look on her face when asked about Haleigh. I watch her body language and you can see she is a liar. Misty knows what happened and I see a scared little girl and soon she will break. The presure will be too much for her. So lets hope she breaks soon so haleigh can be found. Watch her mouth it shows the lies when she speaks..

The only redeeming quality this vapid girl has is her skill for organization. She has elicited sympathy from almost every member of her family- “They’re ******* starving her!” Not. I bet she wants a cigarette really badly though, among other things. She certainly knows the days that the commissary is open for her perusal. That family needs to realize that the best thing that could happen to Misty is to stay in prison for a few years. Maybe she could finish a GED without as much distraction and grow back a few brain cells so she can add, subtract and do percentages. I doubt that she can wrap her mind aroung the 135K needed as the 10% of her current bond. What amazes me, really, is the pathetic tone of these people as they talk. Did they not all know that doing things like this would land them right where they are? Anyone who feels sympathy for loons like this is a fool.

I never believe anything that comes from the Croslin Family. Misty thought 10% of 1,000,000 is 10,000. As far as her attorney is concerned. She will fire him. If it means her being bailed out. She will toss him so quickly into the trash bin. I personally think it is great to see her locked up and not liking it. As far as her brother is concerned… apple doesnt fall far from the tree.

As much as I hate to say it, I doubt we will ever know what happened to the precious little angel. I tend to believe this with what all I’ve heard… Misty coming back from a 3 day binge, her and Ronald arguing the entire time she was back, her not wanting to babysit that night, etc… I have a gut feeling that she lost her temper with Haleigh and accidentally killed her. Either family members are so called friends (who know if they step up and say anything will be serving time for being a part of this situation) helped her dispose of Haleigh’s body. Hearing Ron’s comments from the time he got home from work that night, she is way too afraid of admitting the truth. Ron has a serious temper and I’m sure he’s beat on Misty way before Haleigh ever came up missing. I’m sick and tired of hearing how she could have “blacked out” or was so tired she heard nothing. Her 3 day binge was not her first rodeo when it comes to taking those pills. Misty will continue keeping mum because she knows if she was to admit the truth, if Ron does not kill her, he will have someone else do it. To me the writing is on the wall. It all points to the numerous phone calls that night of her and Ron fighting and then all of a sudden she no longer answers her phone. She let her anger out on Haleigh. I feel like I’m in a football seat looking down at the game. This case is way too easy to figure out. It breaks my heart but that is what I honestly feel what transpired. This will be another cold case.

Art, first,an formost,i pray Halieghs found.Art,much of this could have been avoided.If the state would have just placed Misty in a rehab.When Haliegh first went missing.An got her counseling.A clear head,an she may have remembered way before now.If she remembered anything.I still believe she was passed out,from her week end party. She was burned out,thats why she may have not wanted to babysit,she wanted to sleep.Drug binges,after effects. makes a person tired,an lathargic.Why would people want to see Misty do 20-75 yrs.My lord,where is compassion.That girl is doing all she knows,from her raising.Haliegh should always be first an formost in the forfront,of everyone.But just what if she was abducted,while the girl was passed out.Im wondering if i would hear cheers,if Misty comitted sucicide!! I find LE at fault in that county,after i read how all the children are living in drug houses,or passed from one drugged parent,to another,known drug addicted parent.An that prostitution,pimps,an SO running motels,or flop houses,non regestered SO. No Free rehab,in Putumn-or Satsuma.Its seems thay have turned their heads a long time.(LE) Why hasnt the DR,WHO WROTE THE SCRIPS,OR THE HEAD DRUG SUPPLIER BEEN ARRESTED. MISTY MUST TRUST NO ONE,BECAUSE ALL HAVE DELT DECIETFULY WITH HER.—I do pray for once she gets clean,an the time is given for the brain fog to leave.That happens,while using,an after withdrawl. I know one co,that knew of drugs being delt.An always looked the other way-or may have been recieving a pay off—-Also could Ron jr,at his age,BE Hypnotized,to see what he may remember.A case happened,yrs ago.Where 2= 4 yr old twins,saw a murder.An told counselers that the man,beat their brother.But courts,and/or DCS,would not let them testify,or record,testimony -to tell what they saw,an clear,another person who,wasnt in the home when the beating/murder took place.Or to help prosicute the true murderer-who had,a known history-an record of violence.Art wonder why the wont allow thes childrens recorded testimony,of what they saw,To put a baby killer away? I do understand,no haven the children tramatized,by facing the killer.But it could be done inside chambers,before Jury,an Judge!!!! Well,, another long one lol. Has Teresa Nevese confirmed with you that she offered to pay Misty to babysit? If you did I missed it.
I have read a lot of the theories being posted on your site and some of them make a lot of sense. What is your personal opinion on what happened that night?
I just don’t know about Misty. I have been trying to figure her out. She just doesn’t seem smart enough to outsmart the cops.
I lean towards the theory that she was really out of it that night and really doesn’t know what is real and what is not real. Then it makes me wonder if this is true then why did she fail the lie detector test?

Ronald Cummings knows exactly what happened to his daughter. He keeps on going on about how he will kill whoever has her in order to look like he does not know. A blind man can see that he is in on everything. Granted, he might not have known the night the child went missing, but he was surely informed of the details later and the details probably revealed him to be at fault in some way so he agreed to pretend that he didn’t know. Noone who is so passionate about punishing their child’s abductor turns around and marries, deals drugs and is tatooed on the last person to see her alive. Obviously Misty and Ron both know what happened. It’s common sense and plain as day and none of them will probably ever say what happened to her for fear of more criminal charges. So it’s a real NO win situation, but I had to say that Ron Cummings knows exactly what happened. His mother and family know more than they pretend too.

Art, are there transcripts of all the tapes online somewhere? We have seen/heard bits and pieces on NG ( i watch every night i can, i think she does a great job) but i would love to read all the transcripts in order to get the whole picture on what everyone is saying. Misty is acting like a typical inmate, crying, begging for people on the outside for money etc, promising to be a perfect angel if she gets bailed out. She sure doesn’t look like the person in the early tapes, now she’s acting like the little girl because just as with Casey A she realizes she is no longer in control. So many parallels there. I was surprised to hear them say you had talked to them about helping pay her bond, and i didn’t believe it even then. Now that you have verified it, it goes to show their family is telling her just what they think she wants to hear even if it isn’t true. I’m with you..it’s been almost painful watching them trying to figure out 10%. As of last night they still didn’t have it right! Maybe her lawyer should start by filling them in. There is a small window of time right now because once they start her on any antianxiety meds the meds will help her relax and that will in turn decrease the level of panic and fear that she is going through right now.

Kinda hard to miss that GGMa Sykes was alerting Ron with the message from “Pop” regarding the alleged snitch.
Extremely hard to miss the long and quite drawn out comments Ron made regarding his boxer shorts/chonies issues. Code 4 er um I uh meant code for possible skid marks?

Art, do you know if the Satsuma cemetery has been throughly checked? Also, how close is it to Ron’s trailer? If she were buried there, there may still be signs of suspicious activity on the ground…The cemeteries in that area have probably been checked..Just a thought that crossed my mind..

Wow. Scary stuff about the rearview mirror. I find it unreal as to how so many really ignorant/dumb people are able to get away(so far) with all of this. After hearing about their lifestyles, I am not shocked that something happened to Haleigh, it’s just amazing that not a trace of her can be found. I just wish this saga would end quickly, these people don’t deserve anymore of the spotlight. Poor Haleigh.

Art,don’t you think maybe Misty’s lawyer should let her know she is NOT getting out of jail. As long as she THINKS she is getting out she is not going to say anything. At least not the truth. If she is even capable of the truth.
Hopefully,Timmy will get tired of taking care of everybody including his parents.
It just amazes me how Misty thinks everyone owes her something.

Art: I am a fan of Justice esp.involving a child that is missing and most likely no longer with us,but I am going to say a few things that may peeve some people off..I can not believe this girl and she is just a girl has the street smarts,education,money nor family structure.. that after a year is able to get away with anything involving Haleigh’s vanishing…she has told everything she knows down to her brother stealing dish washing liquid…the fact is the Putman co. police dept does not know anything except Misty is the last KNOWN person to see Haleigh …but being the last KNOWN and the LAST one is two very different things. All the family stated they knew the back door stayed locked at all times so over the few days and esp. that day of someone knowing all this unlocked that door, what prints showed on the deadbolt,someone knew the back doors did not stay open and needed propped,Misty, Ronald,Teresa all know who did this… but not outright.Haleigh can’t be alive without a sighting esp. with her medical condition.But this girl does not stand a chance they will serve her up time for these drug charges.. again showing the lack of smarts on Misty’s part all of them actually ,they do not have a full functioning brain between them all not to realize they were being watched like a hawk, Putman Co. will be satisfied just having them in jail as punishment for Haleigh, because.. they do not have a clue and what will happen is.. they are bending her till she breaks out with some false information causing her more charges that will not bring true justice to Haleigh,her killer is out here among us.JUSTICE FOR HALEIGH!!! I am not above being shameful if i am wrong but i do not believe Misty knows any more about Haleigh.I believe she acts alot tougher than she is to her peers,and is manipulative,is a liar, has many many problems and bad habits, but not a murderer does that make.Putman Co needs to look outside the box but close to the box!

Pay Momma’s probation fines. Get Dad some wheels so he can look for work before his unemployment runs out. Put some more money on Lindsey’s phones. Post $10,000 in bond money cause Misty thinks that’s all she needs to get out. get a phone for Mom and Dad and put some money on it, make sure it’s enough so Misty can call home twice each day, Heck it’s only like $15 for each call. Oh and be sure and use some of your Income Tax money to come to Florida and see Misty. Misty needs envelopes and stamps too. Send Misty pictures of everyone. I went to Bing and got an aerial view of Satsuma Cemetery. It looks like it is the closest one to Ron’s trailer..The others I saw, Palatka, and San Mateo didn’t seem as close..I really hope Satuma C will be rechecked.. Whomever may have buried her, they could have thought of it as the the right thing to do for this precious child…. less morbid, so to speak, as opposed to throwing her in a lake, or trash bin…

Misty said she was ready to give some information so i hope cops are asking her what info she’s dangling out there. I was glad to hear Misty’s dad told her to tell all she knows(referring to HaLeigh it appears) & i hope he continue’s to do that coz this needs to stop. HaLeigh needs to be found. I found Misty cocky in most of her interviews & get a strange vibe about Ron from day one as well, these two know what happened.

I was thinking the same thing about this Timmy spending so much on these phones and they just keep calling and telling him to give, give, give put more minutes on there and send some more money. Sorry but at least Ron Cummings was saying he was going to keep the call short and trying to make his grandma feel better (at least I think so), at least it seems he can see beyond himself. I understand Misty is very young but come on, sounds like her brothers entire tax return is going to these minutes on phones. Plus the call to the grandma was so sad also, no concern from Misty for grandma and her financial situation. Then we have Hank Jr speaking about how angry he will be if Misty gets out and he does not. If transcripts for these calls are posted, someone please post a link. Why does her father think she holds the key to be able to “put an end to the Haleigh stuff”? I’m wondering how/why he thinks she can do that. What does he think she has lied about? He told her she has to stop telling lies. I also wonder what Tommy is worried his wife might say. Misty’s parents and grandmother all knew she was selling pills, they said ” we told you not to mess with that stuff”. Where is the parenting? Yes she is 18 now but common sense should tell them she was probably being watched by the police. If they hope to get anything out of her ( since she has said she might tell them something) i’m telling you Art they either need to do it soon if they can or put off giving her the anti anxiety meds. Those will relax her, make her tired and mellow, that’s what they are meant to do. If that happens good luck to them getting her to talk. Maybe putting her in general population will be good since she might “open up” to someone, but being in “lockup” seems to be really getting to her. Can they keep her in lockup indefinitely or do they have to put her in GP? IMO their best chance of getting her to talk is to leave her where she is without the meds.

Thanks again for the updates, as far as some posters still bashing LE, (which I did for a while), I want them to know, they should change their tune. I NOW think LE knows exactly what they are doing. Remember, no body, no evidence, just a drugged out family that they knew, and I mean knew they were guilty of something in regards to Haleigh or Cutie Pie as I see it. LE in Putnam trained several LE agents in Orange Park where they are still investigating Somer. I have faith now that they are on the right track and hope for everyone here especially you, they bring Haleigh (Cutie Pie) home. It bothers me that we or I was at one time questioning LE. I felt they were Mayberry all the way. Seems some of us do not realize the time and effort and money that has been invested (INVESTED) in bringing this little girl home. God’s Speed Art!!!

More great reporting on the insufferable Nancy Grace!! I wonder what you can tell us about Misty’s upbringing; from the sound of the phone tapes, her family is familiar with jail life, has next to no money, no telephone, no gas to come see her — and yet in some strange way, they are intact. Even though I have zero tolerance for her for withholding information regarding Haleigh’s disappearnce, (although Ron made it clear on several occasions that he plans to kill whomever is reponsible — which would hardly inspire me to tell the truth if I were in Misty’s shoes), and obviously lying to the cops, I have great sympathy for her for being a part of this tragic scenario to begin with.
…And it almost seems like Ronald WANTED to go to prison, right from the 911 call; it’s like in some perverse way, this is his comfort zone. What can you tell us about his past? And why does he never ask about Junior?? He said that Haleigh wasn’t property, ‘wasn’t a bicylce that (you) could just take’, and yet he behaves as if the biggest wrong is that someone took her from him — not that she’s suffered, been frightened, separated from her family and most likely dead.
This story compels me yet breaks my heart on so many levels. It has been nearly a year since this child went missing and I pray to God she will be soon be found, that she might rest in peace at last.

I totally agree,this little girl is just now 18,sure i’d say she felt grownup because an aolder guy with kid’s and money,nice things but Misty does not know!She is terrified and i know she’d tell if she knew………that’s why she thought the soap tattling might help,but you have to think when she asked her mom what was 10% of her bond,her mom gave her the double amt. and Misty didn’t know!! That’s when you know she’s a little girl….I will alway’s believe they were set up by someone somewhere,Misty and Ron may have done drugs but thats not murder and now after Crystal gets the little boy back she is still on drug’s and didn’t care to risk it knowing she’d fail.She didn’t want these kid’s,she want’s it to appear she did but if it were you? Thanks again Art for keeping us updated. There’s an old saying that goes “you can’t bullshit an old bullshiter.” Out of these cast of characters who fits the old bullshitter mold? Well it’s not Misty, not Ron and certainly not little brother, nope not those scatterbrains. How about grandma Teresa? Now that’s one cool mama.
I think she needs to be investigated, what kind of a woman condones her son bringing teenage girls into her home to bed and impregnate.
I know I’ve been so angry with Misty I could have slapped her face but lets get real, Misty is not smart enough to carry this off. She is being manipulated. Her own family wants her to fess up what she knows but I believe she is being threatened and too dang scared.
I like everyone else needs closure on little Haliegh and I need to know Crystals other baby is not with the Teresa clan and is at home with his mom and maternal grandmom. Crystal is a child also but I believe after all this she will grow up a little and cherish that little boy as she should.
There is something about Ron and his family that scares me.

One point that Nancy Grace and Mark Klaas seems to miss:
If Misty was truly doped up and in a deep slumber the night in question, she would not have failed her polygraphs repeatedly!
My theory: Misty, jonesing for more opiates, sold Haleigh for some dope. With Satsuma teeming with pedophiles, Haleigh easily could have been bartered in the drug world there. For Haleigh’s sake, I hope I’m wrong.

Thanks for this information. I am so glad that this report of you making her bond is false! I have always thought that Leonard Padilla should have never posted Casey Anthony’s bond. Those first days, weeks in jail the inmate gets a real big dose of reality and maybe understands for the first time Mommy and daddy just can’t snap their fingers and make it all go away! Those days that Casey had back home gave her confidence that she could still be in control. Jail is exactly where Casey and this whole lot of them belong. I started reading this blog shortly after Haleigh disapeard.I live in Putnam Co.and there is hardly a day that goes by that I don’t think about that baby.More often on some days than others.Her picture is still on many windows of stores and buisines’s,as it should be until she is brought home.
The reason for this post may get it deleted but,I am still going to try.Because I think it needs to be said.
This is above all else,a sad story.A baby is missing for goodness sakes!Art,you have honored Haleigh with every keystroke as only someone that really cares could do.It is apparent with each article you write.
That said,and this is where I am probably going to get censored.Again this is a sad and painful story about a baby that is missing.I just can’t understand poster(s)that sometimes find it amusing to lol and write obscure things that only amuse the poster.I think goofing off in the midst of a serious conversation about a missing baby is terrible.This isn’t satire.We are talking about a real child.

With me being in agreement with many people, I think Misty is somehow connected to Haleigh. I have felt that way from the 911 call and her life style. Ronnie, 50/50, I just cannot seem to Peg him. Art and others may have a different opinion.
Art, I am 50/50 on Ronnie’s involvement, what are your thoughts based on your outstanding reporting and sources? Just because he is a schmuck and thinks he is big time down in PC. does not make him tough man. Ronnie likes them young because he feels superior. Does not mean he did anything.

Yeh I think the longer Misty sits in jail, the closer LE will come to finding little Haliegh. And the break they need is for her to give up (who) she was with the night Haliegh went missing. And furthermore…shame on Ronald for sleeping with the enemy! I do believe Ronald has grieved the loss of his daughter but once the truth behind Halieghs disappearance gets revealed, it will more than likely be associated with Ronalds and Mistys drug dealing lifestyle! There are truths that Ronald does not want known!

It is my understanding that members of Haleigh’s family will hold a candlelight vigil on Feb.10th. For on Feb.10th one year ago,a little child disappeared into the night, without a trace. I find it hard to shed a tear for anyone but this little girl. Almost a year ago, and yet these family members have another baby, get married, buy drugs, whine and complain about being cold or wanting money and snacks. Reality is harsh, even more so for an innocent child. I urge everyone who has ever made a comment about this case, or the people involved, on Feb.10th, post a message here or somewhere else. Let your voices be heard. Find Haleigh, and bring her home.

Technically I’d say there’s a huge ‘gap’ that needs to be cat-or-ized when it comes to ‘robbing that cradle,’ rather than ‘them’ getting ‘piled’ into the same ‘file.’
Just like ‘orange’ and ‘red’ ain’t the same colour.

Maybe this is off topic, but i keep thinking someone else HAD TO help misty, think about it, if she disposed of Haleigh (i hate thinking that thought) but if she did, she had to have had help, someone else had to let her use a car right? Or someone else had to have helped her carry a child that size, my five year old daughter is only 40 pounds, she is VERY heavy for me to carry anywhere, I cant imagine misty carrying around a child like that, Im thinking she def had an accomplice and maybe they will talk before she does!

I’m so glad Art that you cleared up the bonding issue. Thank God you are not bonding any of these guys/gals out. Let them stay in jail until they tell us what happened to Haleigh.
Sadly I think Ron, Misty and Tommy are somehow involved in her disappearance. I think Ron knows a lot more then he is saying. He is constantly threatening them with “I’ll kill whoever took Haleigh”. He is telling them in a round about way to “shut up” and not talk. Very sad case.

What if Ronald Cummings, like Jackson as we have heard re: little boys, likes “little girls?” What a horrible thought! Someone mentioned that just recently! I believe Cummings and Misty Croslin did something awful to that little girl, Haleigh. Did Misty ever give a reason for placing the “red rose” in the woods and LE finding it? I, again, shudder at some of these pieces of information: ashes under the ground, Haleigh’s body in Cummings’ septic tank. Thinking outside the box or inside leaves so many of us wondering. I know that the LE is diligent—but, why on earth is Cummings back in PC jail? Is he gonna’ ??escape or ????charges DISMISSED? Why should he get a newspaper? So that he will know what others are saying re: the truth? Misty is scared of the Cummings. What Cummings says about KILL, is what he would do to Misty if she tells and he gets that chance to KILL. jmo

It does make you shudder, but important not to accuse Ronald with murder, unless he’s ever charged, and that doesn’t seem likely with police clocking his alibi at work and other things we’ve reported here that take him off the plate as a suspect…And no one suggested Ronald’s predilection for young teenage girls extends to children Haleigh’s age…No body was ever found in the septic tank, the dumpsters were brought to a central location and checked, from all over the county, I’ve reported…As far as the threat to kill whoever is behind Haleigh…well, we don’t know who might be his target. Yet. But he’s full of bluff and bluster, and just because he’s a wannabe thug, in the eyes of LE, an accused drug dealer who can’t wait to get some painkillers for his tooth in jail…doesn’t make him a childnapper or killer… You gotta take his words with a whole salt shaker. I think Number 70 Susan is right. I hope Lee has the gut’s to do what is right and start looking more closley at Ronald’s family,friends, and so clled buiness associates. Didn’t I hear some where,That Ronald said he could get Haleigh back if he had 300,000.00 cash. What Grandparent and mother would warn her son and Grandson to keep quite if you were really trying to find Haleuigh. What does Ronald need to keep quite about. I also think Grandmda Neeves is not being honest. I do think that Ronald get special treatment, because his mom works at the Sheriff office. Sound like we need a internal Investagion into what went on with all those drop charges against Ron. Let’s see if this happens. Art I don’t undersand why and maybe you have look mome closler at this . Plese let us know. I think that Ronals and his family hang out with some pretty undersible people. Why hasn’t Nancy and even you Art felt like this seeds more looking into. I just have this sick fealing that this goes back to Ronald and his associates.

art thank you for not bailing anyone of that mess out.the croslin family seems to be a whole family of free living freddies,when i read about them victimizing a blind man (neighbor)that just shows what filthy low life trash they are,the eaisiest way to solve this case is NOT to buy them cars,food and phone cards,and posting lisa`s bond yesterday (thank you lenard P.JERK)no one has commented on hank sr.recorded conversations to misty, if he is telling her no more lies, and to come clean with her attorney present he is letting us know she has told him,and not just misty,the whole freakin family is scared of ronalds threats of death,you have to know that free living freddies all have chidren one right after another to increase food stamps and welfare checks they are not really even noticed by their stupid parents till they can work ,steal or repoduce themseves for welfare and do for their parents.art you need to talk to hank sr.and treat him like a man with many problems and help him realize he cant help any of his adult children only himself,if the right trustworthy people start danglig the 35,000.00 reward in front of him or even tommy and timmy, you will have the answer about haleigh ,these people dont understand family love trust or loyalty,because the only common bond they have is greed and self need,i think hank sr. can tell you every detail needed for the rite price,immunity and dissgression (NO ONE ELSE IS TO EVER KNOW IT WAS HIM).AT LEAST SWEET BABY GIRL WOULD COME HOME DEAD OR ALIVE,and ron and misty would be behind bars,i belive ron thinks he is smarter then everyone including law enforcement,has anyone offered ANYONE in that mess wittness protection program,with them letting ron be so vocal on killing,sounds to me he is really saying he will kill whoever snitches on him?THEY WOULDNT STAY CONNECTED TO MISTY OR TOMMY UNLESS SOMEONE WASNT DOIN IT FOR THEM (LEONARD P.
