Exclusive: Secret “Haleigh Cummings Room!”

In an exclusive interview with The Bald Truth Wednesday, Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy said his investigators are still reviewing the jailhouse tapes between Misty Croslin and her family that were released to the media Wednesday–and that I’ll be discussing on The Nancy Grace Show tonight at 8 and 10 p.m. est.
Sheriff Hardy said they are looking for anything in those conversations that might click with other information investigators have surrounding the disappearance of the five year old girl babysitter Misty Croslin she reported missing last Feb. 10.
But Hardy warned against “tunnel vision,” and said no one has been ruled out in the massive effort to find Haleigh Cummings or learn what happened to her, in our wide-ranging 30 minute interview. “Everyone keeps saying, ‘Misty, Misty,’ but we’re not just focusing on the one person who is being reported on,” he told me.
“She’s definitely a key to this investigation,” he went on, “but we aren’t going to have tunnel vision and rule out anyone else. This investigation has taken us all over the United States. Our investigators have invested more hours than you can count.”
In fact, The Bald Truth obtained photos of “The Haleigh Cummings” room at the sheriff’s department, a room devoted to the unsolved case where detectives have compiled books with thousands of pages of information on the case, logging more than 5,700 tips and cataloguing them into categories, from the parents, to psychics and more.
The walls are adorned with maps of the area, and the Capt. Dominic Piscitello, who heads the investigation, asked us not to show any names on the binders. Beyond books, there are more than 200 hours of taped interviews, including more than 30 hours of interviews with Misty Cummings alone, Sheriff Hardy told me.
“It’s a big puzzle,” said Hardy. “We don’t have all the pieces put together, but we think we’re getting close. We just can’t allow ourselves to get tunnel vision and focus on the pieces that are missing. We are going to keep going over all the pieces of the puzzle and make sure we haven’t missed anything and we are continuing to do that.”

Her mother misunderstood and misspoke. Here’s what happened: in the last week, I’ve been hearing a rumor someone was trying to bail her out and I began calling aroung to try to verify.
I was shocked, since it’s taken investigators over a year to catch her in a situation that gives them leverage they never had in the Haleigh case until now; they were still smarting a certain someone with forked tongue had bailed out her party pals last year for the publicity.
So I called her lawyer to follow up, and he mentioned snake man had called, but Robert Fields said he wasn’t comfortable with the ethics of the proposition….I called several bondsmen I knew and all denied they’d called the family or Fields, or had anything to do with snake man. After all 10 pct of 1.35 million is $135,000 someone would have to put up, or a cash equivalent, whole lotta money. What’s in it for them? I figure since many believe there’s no such thing as bad publicity, it would be worth it, and if snake man brokered the deal, even though he’s had his license suspended, he’d get a little cash back…maybe try to use it to get his reality show re-ignited with Discovery, since that was his original motivation, not Haleigh as she’s professed so much he actually believes it.
Following a hunch, I then called Leonard Padilla and he did say he’d called Robert Fields, Misty’s lawyer, long ago and had also recently left a message. Said he’d wanted to take Misty to Michigan or somewhere and see if he could get her to talk. Said a close friend had the money to possibly put up the bail…like he did in the Anthony case, and had nothing to do with any deal snake eyes has apparently been hyping. But Leonard had yet to speak with her family. When I called him Wed night before NG, he still had not spoken to Misty’s family, he said… In trying to track the rumor further, I did ask Lindsay if she’d gotten a call from any bondsman offering to put up the money and they said no, just Cobra…but did request that I give anyone who was interested the number of Misty’s lawyer…Now you know the rest of the story I’ve been reporting. Never have spoken to Misty’s Mom about this, and tonight it appeared the family had misunderstood bond amounts, not to mention how to calculate 10 per cent of $50,000. When Misty mentioned my name to her Dad, and asked was I trying to get her bond, he said he didn’t think so. “He’s just after a story.”

The PCSD released the photos to several outlets…Maybe they let him in to take his own shots, don’t know, but do know that they told me Matt Safer of the local Fox affil, got the first tour Tues or Wed.
When I heard of the room, couple of days ago, I asked for pix, and Sheriff Hardy asked his people to snap some photos and send…one top investigator forwarded me an e mail with jpegs of the secret room — shots he’d just taken and sent to the local paper, the Palatka Daily News five min earlier, today at 10:31…
I’m in Atlanta, so they sent me pix as a courtesy and described it as you can see below. Earlier Thurs, Sheriff Hardy called me after I requested an interview with him and we spoke for 30 min. In fact, I’ve confirmed he called TJ after he called me. Next thing I know you’ll be claiming his sheriff’s interview was someone else’s “exclusive,” too, when he spoke to several outlets…But there are exclusive new details here I got from him and others in the family and the case no one else has reported yet.
As for the sheriff’s interview, ground rules were it was not to be taped, and I can’t imagine the TJ I know would break a promise to the sheriff, though pals he pumps up have told so many whoppers I’m shocked their Pinochio noses don’t poke each others eyes out when they rub them together with glee over telling yet another one.

How can you think this nieve person Misty knows more and could tell the world who has Haleigh. What makes you think that. She is so nieve that she befriended and trusted the person who tried to sneak and get her trust as a mommy with Mommy Donna and daddy Tim. Would you trust this person again after Donna tried to stab her in the back and get information from her. Someone is walking free who stole Haleigh. Someone is getting away with this, while the police get these four cornered and in fear for the lose of their freedom. I wouldnt be suprised if Misty says Ron did it, to shorten her time. Ron says he thinks Tommy did it to shorten his time. Donna says Misty did it to shorten his time and Tommy say Ron Misty and Donna did it….. I mean all this is going to do is scare them into making up storys about each over to cover their own butts..These are my opinions..

no tunnel vision at all. Man knocks on door after repeated requests to go to the home, goes sit in car hangs out and then leaves. Does he go to back door, call a gas inspector call the father, family, 911 for a welfare check? Does he call the father after and tell him he was there? No. Does the father who has allegedly asked him to go there call him back and ask what he seen when he was there ? No. The man with holds it for months until Putnam law enforcement places a high bond on him knowing he can’t afford but runs media releases for days before saying if he tells them something he will get a negotiated bond. The mans wife is outside saying nothing is known by family while her husband is inside singing a different tune. For seven months they keep it a secret and what does Putnam LE say about that “we can’t imagine why” No the obvious bond and media releases before has nothing to do with the mindless story that mad no sense and could not be verified and in fact was told to be a lie by Ronald. In recent arrest it comes to light the man is reported to Police as lurking road ways and breaking in back doors. Who is the man Tommy Croslin. That is tunnel vision, and they let him out. A repeated domestic violence offender they let out into a home where children are. Mr.Harris being you have access to Lindsay how about asking her straight up why the story of Tommy’s 7 months later? Why they lied for 7 months? Drill her for answers. She is playing you giving you interviews and saying what shew wants heard, and with holding what she does not. She wants to help people start with helping Haleigh Cummings

I believe there was up to four people at the trailer, likely the people she had been partying with for the 3 days prior to Haleigh going missing. She couldn’t go out, so she asked them to bring some drugs over there for her. She, already burnt out, does some more drugs, passes out. At some point the other people leave, I think at the prompting of the person who unlocked the back door. He leaves with them all, says goodbye, goes his own way but comes back. Knows he needs to prop open that door and takes a cinder block back with him to do so. The inside door closing on it’s own is not such a big deal in the get away and so I think is irrelevant. What I do think is important is the ‘washing of the bedding’ why are you washing her blanket, surely you could have used another blanket if hers was dirty. Washing it to me implies getting rid of evidence

Good show tonight, Art….. Her Dad may be the one to get Misty to break..I think he will keep pressuring her, and now that her bond has been raised, she knows what she is facing…If she hates jail now, in a few months she will be climbing the walls..Who is Talent and Talent? She was wondering if they would be visiting her..I don’t think Tommy knows anymore than he has told LE..Misty wasn’t at home when he came by at 10pm..After Ron left for work she left too, and returned home as Ron was returning from work..IMO I think Jr. was coaxed to mention the man in squeaky shoes.. The cinder block, and steel door propped open was a cover, and staged after Ron returned home. Ron was trying to reach Misty while he was at work, calling 20 times, then when he gets home he doesn’t ask her, “why didn’t you answer the phone”, he asks her why she is up so late..NG likes to put all the blame on Misty, but I think Ron knows just as much… I hope LE pieces it all together soon, and Haleigh is found..

Hi, Art! I have become a big fan of yours and am a bit obsessed with this case. It occured to me that between Misty’s brother telling cops he went to the trailer and pounded on the door and it seemed like no one was home, and the fact that the beds were not unmade, it is obvious that no one was sleeping in that trailer the night that Haleigh went missing. Especially the made-up beds, don’t you think? Also, do you know where Junior was and whether he was questioned on said evening?
…So that leads me to believe that neither Misty nor the kids were at the trailer and what ever crime occured, it took place elsewhere. What do you think happened? Also, at seventeen, Misty was just too young to be given the responsibility of supervising two small children overnight; she should have been in bed at her parents’ home and enrolled in high school. That’s a big part of this tragedy — not just that she’s a supposed drug user but that she was — and still IS — so very young. I wonder why not only Ron was okay with her watching his children, but also his mother, grandmother and Misty’s parents. So much poor judgement and a history of trouble on Ronald’s part are a big part of this equation. Who agrees?

I have a new girlfriend”..She tried to act like it didn’t bother her, but I was reading her face, and she does care..IMO and she knows Ron didn’t mean it. He was again trying to distance himself from Misty..

After watching the partial jailhouse interview on Nancy Grace Live, Wednesday evening; I feel sorry for Misty. I’m starting to see that she has or is being exploited by the adults around her. She does not come off as being sophisticated, but appears to be what she is and that is a very scared 18 year old who has been manipulated by Ron, her parents, etc. If you were to obtain the arrest records of the majority of women in prison; you would see that they are there because of dealing drugs for their boyfriends, husbands who controlled them and used them for such!!

I’m sorry for posting again, but how much time is Misty’ father having shaved off his pending charges. It seems to me that he is purposely asking questions to further implicate his daughter to the admission of dealing drugs. As a “normal” parent; I would try to console my child at this point and let the Lawyers ask these questions. He just threw his daughter under the bus and now she has more charges and a bond over 1 million. Norman Bates Mom move over.

Too bad, but it sounds as if Leonard Padilla has interest in bailing out Misty. If there is any chance of finding out what happened to Haleigh, Misty has got to stay in jail.
Misty want’s out from jail badly, so I think that she will talk her attorney into agreeing to LP terms.
Why don’t the bounty hunters let LE do their jobs without interferring?

Art, can I say something? You are taking a beating on some of the other sites recently, being accused of sensationalism reporting, especially regarding your alliance with Nancy Grace, who has certaily fallen from grace with alot of wonderful posters lately. I know we can count on you to report the facts and report them accurately. Some of the armchair dectectives are getting restless. Some need to remember that the authorities know way more than they let us know. That’s the way it works!
I apprediated the clips Nancy had last night of Hank Sr & Misty. I was thinking that this family didn’t have normal feelings…. but I was wrong, it does seem as though the parents do love the kids (in their own way) and probably are thinking how their screwed up ways have affected Misty & Tommy. I hope this wakes up the entire family and straightens them out. Oh and poor Misty in a small cell, thats what happens when you play with fire!

Thank you Art. It never seems to amaze me how people can be so small minded. Do they not know who you are? It really irritates me that they make such rediculous accusations. I appreciate everything you have done in bringing us the news on the bizarre case of Haleigh Cummmings.
LE has made the proper charges and set the proper bonds in this case. It is becoming apparent that drugs are the xfactor in Haleighs disappearance. I just pray Haleigh is found alive and returned safely to her mother. I am disappointed in Teresa Neves for putting the welfare of her precious grandchildren in the care of a 17 year old that just came off the drug binge. The three days she and Ronald were broken up after he threw her out with her clothes and the all nighter she had with Ron the night before. Misty was in no shape to care for those children. Teresa was aware and when Misty told her she was exhausted she should of let it go. I am sure she feels guilty about this now.

JMO- I think Ron had alot more to do with this than we think. I like Nancy Grace but I think her standing by Ron’s side is going to backfire on her. I think he knows what happened and may have had some involvement before going to work and the plot was in motion to be carried out while he was at work. Things are just not adding up with Ron. And they are all kidding themselves if they think there is no prison time coming. Misty’s brother Tommy (Hank) said on tape to his wife he isn’t going to do any time nor is Misty since this is there 1st felony. Yeah right. I hope he keeps telling himself that while he does that 10-25 years! Misty to! She’s looking at 200 years now. Time to sing and make a deal for sure. These people haven’t a pot to piss in yet they think a bond will be issued for Misty & Tommy. From who??? Santa Claus? Christmas is over! Great job Art love you on Nancy Grace.

Local news here in Central Florida are reporting Bounty Hunter Leonard Padilla and team maybe coming to town on the Misty Croslin and Haleigh Cummings cases. I hope Mr. Leonard Padilla postpones his trip here for a month for Misty to be giving time to rest and think and possibly be evaluated by a psychology professional.

I would like to apoligize to the police Department. I was wronag the have done a lot of work on the case. We we just so shallow thinking. I hope they read this because i gave thema pretty hard time on this blog. Again I apoligize. Would like to know how Ron is fairing in jail. Is he in the jail where his mom works for the police Dept. and how often has she been able to visit with Ron.
I almost feal sorry for Misty. Misty doesn’t seem to grasp how much trouble she is in. These are serious drug charges. She ask like she is in for a ticket and somone will just a bail her out. Misty you had better get confortable,you are going to be there a long long long time. The life you knew is over. So Sad such a young girl. Wonder where she might had been if she had not got hock up with Ronald.

I always heard the squeeky wheel gets the oil. It seems Ron is a buffone. He’s been in trouble with drugs before and the law knows it.He made this smoke screen of innocents and he knowingly had a young and knive girl take responsiblilty for children. Everyone in the family especially Mrs Nevis had no back ground ck’s on this girl? Or ck up on how her life style was? Ron introduced her to pills and she took the ball and ran with it.
Butter bean knows alot..She had him with her wherever she was that night. Diffenitly, no one was home..Not even a pillow case on the mattress?? Come on kids like a made bed.
Shows me neglect. Ron making all those calls from work was worried about something, he know just like in the Shaina
Davis case when you pimp out for drug theres a price to be paid. My grandson,is in jail now just for Oxy’s my house and with me and my husband inside were sprayed with 9-9milmeter bullets because he owed money. Did they care we were inside? NO, so whoever has this child she was stolen at that party till randsom is paid..Now, its so late only God knows that she is alive.
That is why Ron married Misty like he said,”Your enemies are closer”. He went back to selling to see if he could
find out details. Thats my opinion.

Art, How in the world could you get involved with bailing Misty out of jail?!?! What are you thinking? This isn’t a game. A little girl is missing and possible dead. Leave Misty, her brother and Ron in jail!!! They (those three) hold the key to what really happened to poor little Haleigh.

Art, can you please explain to us, why all the calls to Misty’s mother, from YOU giving them hope of bail money?
Please explain to the masses your thinking. LE has gone to Great Lengths to finally get these clowns behind bars, why would you, Padilla Staubs or any one, want to SABOTAGE that, if you truly want the truth to come out?
Was Lisa Croslin leading misty on, was she not telling the truth? Are you really attempting to have Misty bonded out?
Please tell us the truth, because if you are going on national TV as a reporter, then behind the scenes attempting to bond out a suspect, that doesn’t bode well for your credentials. I enjoy your articles but I do want an answer as to why the Croslins think you are going to bond Misty Out. This is not what I call responsible reporting, it’s more crossing a thin line, than anything….

I actually felt sorry for Misty last night when I saw her jailhouse tapes. It dawned on me that this girl (child) is a product of her environment, raised from birth in a druggie world, so did you actually expect her to be attending Julliard right now? Not making excuses for her by any means, but it is what it is. And I don’t think she completely knows what exactly happened to Haleigh. I think she was drugged out of her mind, and given the circle that she and Ron associate with, well, anything could have happened to that child while Misty was in a drug induced stupor. And while I don’t have anything for Ron, I don’t think he had anything to do with her disappearance. He was probably too busy hunting his next teenage victim to abuse and get hooked on drugs. Ever notice Ron doesn’t hook up with women his age? They know better.

Ronald Cummings’ employment confirmed his being at work that night, correct? Does this company require drug testing? Was Ron’s work attendance and performance discussed by his supervisor, clearing him of any wrong doing that night?
IF SO..Ron walks in the door to a “scared” , panicy Misty… She’s lucky Ron didn’t throw her across the room and get violent!
Was the garbage taken by police/detectives? Any drug paraphenalia/drugs found? Prescription drugs? And what was the status of Junior? Was he crying, upset? Surely, still not asleep?
IMO, Ronald had a leash on Misty – money making drug ring/trafficking… and she was good at selling.. Misty’s life is nothing but impressing others with her sex and ability to sell drugs. Ron controlled Misty.
That’s why she stayed and babysat. (who in their right mind would stay?)
That night, Were any other callers on Misty’s cell phone, besides Ronald?
Question for Ron: Would Haleigh wake-up or be awake when he got home from work? Many children do, esp. a child with this type of home-life and medical needs.
Maybe Misty did pass out for a while, and was woken up by friends. Left the light on and propped the back door open when leaving…
Did someone come by, enter the house, and Haleigh saw the person, and was abducted because she witnessed something? Or in revenge – did Ronald owe $$ to anyone? Was there anyone who was aware of Ronald’s rage re Misty’s 3 day affair, and wanted to “set him straight?”. Ronald presents himself as a big bully, and I sincerely think that he loves those children and was trying to maintain a job, to keep custody. The drug part is an addiction. AND.. it’s quick $$, and a thrill.. plus, so many people in Satsuma/surrounding area was a Ronald Cummings drug affiliate.
Who were Ron’s enemies?
Misty very well may not know specifically WHO took Haleigh, but I wonder if any of their
drug friends have “disappeared”.
Remember in the beginning, we saw Ron pathetically pleading, as well as Haleigh’s Mom WHO stated ” your Daddy loves you”. She wouldn’t have said those words, had it not been true .
Ron’s lies to Geraldo, Nancy Grace re drugs was to protect himself from losing his children. Caught between a rock and a hard place.
Lastly, is there anyone in Misty’s family that is not corrupt? and not involved in Oxycodone/drugs?
Can’t wait to hear more re Tommy Croslin… There’s more to his story, for sure..

I am not buying the fact that Misty was so drug addled the night that Haleigh disappeared that she just “blacked out” and has on fuzzy recollections.
The facts state that the last time Haleigh was seen was sometime around 7 or 8pm when Ron’s grandmother stopped by with freshly washed clothes. The phone call to LE was around 3:30am the next morning, a period of 7 hours or so. On the tape Misty sounds nervous but certainly not so drug befuddled that she was not able to offer a description of what the child was wearing and answered the questions to the emergency operator coherently.
But Ron issued a warning from jail that he would murder anyone who is fingered for taking Haleigh. I think that was more of a warning to Misty than anyone else.
But I do agree that whatever happened to Haleigh was a direct or indirect result of the drugs surrounding these trashy people and the longer she sits in jail the more time she will have to offer up the truth since she seems scared.
And Leonard Padilla offering to bail her out is insanity. He needs to keep his nose out of this since the last time he got involved with the Caylee Anthony case much of his interference created huge problems.

i blame ronald just as much as misty nancy seems to think he is such a great dad she makes me sick defending him. after all haleigh would still be here if that sorry excuse for a father had not left haleigh with this drug addict he knew she was on drugs and had been gone for three days but still he left his children with her so i blame him. nancy talks to haleighs bio mom like trash but defends ronald how sick.

Art- Some people are so worried about defaming your name they have tendencies to overlook the truth. Only to play the blame game. Surprising people want to accuse you of stealing others photos. Have they not heard of copyright infringement and the liabilities. You are a credible reporter not some person on an internet blog.

Hi Art, I’ve never posted here before, but I have read your updates on Haleigh Cummings and her families. I’ve kept up with this case since the beginning, and it really has bothered me that noone will tell what happened to poor Haleigh! I do remember gg Sykes saying that she went to Ronald and Mistys that evening around 7ish to take some laundry over. In all honesty, I do NOT believe she went over there for that purpose. Maybe Misty and the children were already gone, Misty possibly already had plans and that is the reason why she didn’t want to babysit them that night? GG Sykes sees noone is home and calls Ronald to tell him, and that may be why they got into the arguments and she finally turned her phone off? I am purely speculating here, and this is all jmho. There are so many unanswered questions about that night. I do believe GG Sykes knows ALOT, TN also. All jmo. Thanks for the work you are doing in this case Art, to help bring Haleigh home, however that may be.

I just couldn’t get over how Misty was hitting her family for money. For Christ sake, the girl is in jail for selling drugs. This is not behavior that her family needs to reward her by giving money to make it more easy for her. She’s lucky that she’s not my child because she wouldn’t get one penny from me. Then she’s crying because the food isn’t good enough in jail. No, she wants to stuff her face with junk food and doesn’t give a flying cr@p if her family has to do without. That’s what wrong with many young people today, they do wrong and the family walks on egg shells not wanting to upset them. She made her bed, now she needs to learn a hard lesson so maybe in the future she’ll think twice before making the same mistake.

I would like to give a big THANK YOU out to PCSD for all the hard work and dedication they have put out, you can clearly see how meticulous and diligently they are working on this case just from the photos alone! Also we should commend them for their ability to keep the case quiet and not let too much slip out into the media, they have done extremely well! More jail interview tapes of Misty.. I am curious as to what she means when she says, “I may tell something”.. I hope, but doubt it concerns the location of Haleigh..If she tells, it will be right before she moves from the jail to prison..IMO The thought of going to prison should make her talk..
I think Ron is sweating what Misty will say..Every time he says, “I will kill whoever has her”, he is broadcasting the news to Misty. He has her so scared, and is continuing to threaten her, and possibly others, along with him, who knows what happened to Haleigh..I don’t think Padilla will bail her out, although I’d like to see it happen. Misty isn’t going to tell him where Haleigh is..She would sooner tell her Mom and Dad..Another thing that keeps coming to mind..Why did Ron say “why did you let her get stole, you b____?” How did he know she was stolen? Did Misty tell him someone/s stole Haleigh? How did he know she wasn’t with a relative? Or hiding? IMO just another cover.. Misty didn’t sound upset in the 911 interview. When the 911 operator asks her a question she had to repeat it to Ron..Staged!!! He didn’t know Haleigh’s birth date..Maybe instead of paying for Misty’s lower back tattoo (he denies) of his name, he should tattoo Haleigh’s birth date on himself..One sure way to remember it.

Art…I wish you would enlarge the font size (BIG & BOLD)of the top headline news header along with several spaces. The banner ad for belly reduction makes the news page look cheap…or move the banner ad in different location.

Here’s a nice(r) thought…maybe ‘they’ will eventually find Haleigh alive and being very well, taken care of by some Drug Lord’s wife that couldn’t have a child of her own, ’cause her husband is a terrorist…who knows?…this might lead…to not only prescription drugs.
Scripts and those death counts are high, ’cause they are ‘inflated statistics,’ by those elderly or those who may think they are…it’s a pile of data.

Just curious as to the LE redacting parts of the tapes. I thought the sunshine law was that everything was public. John the undercover must have done a good job to make a friend of Misty before he asked her to get him some drugs and she had to go to Ron. Also, I wonder if NG is getting hard of hearing and that is why she interrupts so much and misinterperts what people are saying. I didn’t hear Misty ask for her Grandmother’s house payment. I heard her begging for them to find someone to bail her out but she knows her entire family does not have two nickles to rub together. I have a different opinion of the family now that I have heard the tapes, they seem to love each other and are sticking together. They just may be poor and trying to survive instead of the horrible monsters we have heard them made out on the various news media. I wish I had the money to help the whole family. I think they are truly innocent of the disappearance of Haliegh. Remember Elizabeth Smart in that mansion taken underneath her whole family and the little girl not too far from Satsuma where her grandparents were sleeping right next door. If they had not found her the grandfather would have been blamed. We are just too quick too points fingers in this country.

I like Leonard and really stood behind him with what he did on the Casey Anthony case, but this time he needs to back off and leave Misty in jail. It really made me mad to hear that he is getting involved in this. Everyone and anyone who watches her during her calls can tell she is getting close to cracking. I know he wants to help, but come on. Let LE do their job, Leonard!

Guy’s,Put yourself in Misty’s shoes,Ever since it happened I have been against Ron and Misty until 2 week’s ago and there is something going on here,I do believe if Misty knew she would have already cracked,this little girl with a grown man and taking care of his kid’s,If anybody’s life has been taken its Mistys in a sence,I felt so bad for her when she asked what 10% of her bail was and her mom told her double and she didn’t even know!A life of criminal activity and drugs have been her whole life from the ppl she should b able 2 count on,She said I don’t wanna be here forever,seems by that she doesnt know what she did wrong or know’s she didn’t! And LP deserves respect simply because he tried to help when Caylee’s own family wouldn’t!And who cares if he gets money or publicity,It sure beats c/g or bozo ,lee or casey getting it!!! I believe the other side or Tommy did this and she’s taking the wrap so i applaud Padilla,hell if casey was worth a shot Misty sure as hell is!I have been going to write Misty and Ronald but especially Misty because I do have the faith that I could maybe convince her to tell the truth…i honestly do so if i had the money,she’d be out now until she’s proven guilty,This case was shammed and le won’t admit they r wrong!

I think Ronald didnt call back, because the real reason he kelpt calling Tommy was not to check on Misty but to make sure he took care of poor haleighs body,Which I beleave he lost his temper before he went to work and poor Haleigh was the one that got in his way. I also beleave thats why the grandmother came over earlier,not to bring the live Haleigh clothes but possibly to say good bye and make sure she was dressed nicely before she returns to our father in heaven.I beleave Ronalds has made Misty feel like its all her fault for going out the weekend before,so she feels like its all her fault and she is protecting Ronald.Why elese would Ronald and his mom act like Misty has done nothing wrong and talking about how great she is one minute, then when she is not around they draw suspision on her.They know the police are getting close to finding out what happened.So they have to try to penn it on Misty!Yea Tommy is a druggy but if Ronald really thought he or Misty did anything to Haleigh he would have already killed them his self!The only one he is scard to hurt or kill is his self!!!!!!!!!!!( My Thoughts)

…To make matters worse Haleigh’s Father and then babysitter turned step Mommy turned ex step Mommy had both decided to continue on with their own lifestyle.

About the case….the timeline has to start at the last time anyone saw Haleigh other than Ron or Misty. As far as i can tell that would be the grandmother at around 7-8pm. Ron gets home at 3:15am, it was proven he was at work so that to me rules him out as being involved in the disappearance of his daughter. I have doubts that she went out again after she agreed to babysit. Anyone who has just returned home from a 3 day binge probably wants to sleep, which could explain turning off the phone, too tired to argue. But, what if Haleigh isn’t tired at the time so Misty gives her something she thinks will just make her sleep? It goes badly, Haleigh may have even told her she feels weird, and ends up dying from it. Who is Misty going to call? Family, the only ones she can trust.She had no car to go anywhere by herself. Brother and/or cousin most likely. What “non-criminal” knows to put a cinder block to prop open a door? Who in her family breaks into homes? Didn’t she JUST turn on her brother, saying he broke into his neighbors house and stole video games, soap etc? Didn’t he just tell his wife not to talk to anyone? I still think her cousin was involved somehow. I find it too much of a coincidence he left for Tenn the same night and Misty (on national tv) has all bad things to say about her cousin. Didn’t they find a gun in a ditch verifying an argument he and Ronald had where a gun was involved? This is just one scenario but i think is the most likely one. Her cousin could have taken Haleigh’s body and put it anywhere between Fla and Tenn, or for that matter may have taken her to get revenge on Ron which is what Misty hinted at on tv. Another possible scenario, less likely, is someone knew Ron and Misty had drugs and money in the home and went in to rob her, taking Haleigh who might have been able to identify him. How sad that no matter how it happened she went through a horrible experience. Ron had made a few comments early on that might mean something. One was something like..if you have a problem with me don’t take it out on my daughter, she’s a kid she’s not a thing. He also said “how you let someone steal my child”.Both comments indicate he thought someone was seeking revenge on him. I believe it’s one of these…either Misty accidentally OD’d her and got help from family, or someone Haleigh knew came in to steal any drugs or money in the house and Haleigh could identify them so they took her, or the cousin did something to her as revenge against Ron and the family is protecting him. Either way, Misty knows more than she is saying because she was either a part of it or would know if anything like drugs was missing from the house.I find it too much of a coincidence she just happened to wake up 15 minutes before Ron got home and realized Haleigh was gone. IMO.

Do you suppose that Ron is the mastermind of the drug trafficking and Misty just did what he programmed her to do?
Also, on Misty’s polygraph…..Did she do anything to Haleigh 46% deception? Did she know where Haleigh was, 99% deception? Did she know who took Haleigh, 99% deception? Those figures tend to lead me to believe that she, Misty, did not harm Haleigh….but she knows everything.
If she is innocent, I pray that she has another chance at life to make the “right” choices. She is an attractive girl and could do a lot more with her life.

Two more quick comments, thank you to people like you Art and Nancy who keep public awareness of these cases going, it eventually can help in solving them. Also, my impression of Ron’s comments about vowing to kill whoever did this is that he is a heartbroken parent who probably would do it, or at least want to. Although not wise it’s understandable.People might call me crazy but i believe Ron’s loyalty under the circumstances would be to the police and not the Croslin’s. His actions may not appear to show it but there might be more than what is shown. Thank you for giving us a place to express our thoughts on this Art!
