EXCLUSIVE: “Misty No Drug Dealer!” —Dad

It was a shock to me,” Misty Croslin’s father, Hank, Sr. tells The Bald Truth in an exclusive interview after learning his 18 year old daughter was behind bars charged with six counts of drug trafficking and held on a whopping $950,000 bond.
“When I heard police were calling Misty a big drug dealer, the (so-called) ‘mastermind’ or ringleader, I couldn’t believe it,” Hank told me. “She’s never been a ringleader of anything. Misty is a follower, not a leader.”
And her brother, Tommy? “He’s an addict, not a criminal,” his wife, Lindsay, tells me. Oh, and an alleged thief who apparently stole to feed his habit, according to police reports obtained by The Bald Truth (see below), and now sits behind bars on a no hold bond for allegedly trafficking drugs with his sister that violated probation on the burglary charges.
In face of what sources close to the case tell me is a “slam dunk,” with hours of audio and videotape of the month long investigation allegedly showing Misty Croslin and others around Satsuma, Florida and nearby counties scoring prescription painkillers from locals and selling more than 300 pills worth almsot $4,000 an undercover cop named Jake, her father called it a misunderstanding, and described Misty as a lost teenager just trying to fit in.
“If she bought some pills, she was just doing people favors,” Hank Croslin explained. “If you know Palatka, this ain’t nothing but a cesspool of drugs and pills. But Misty’s no drug dealer!”
Indeed, the bust that headlined Misty Croslin as the mastermind behind the gang that couldn’t deal straight now gives investigators in the Haleigh who Cummings disappearance new leverage over the teenage babysitter who reported the five year old missing a year ago and police believe knows more than she’s revealed. Even her husband now says that’s what police told him when he was arrested, and feels if Misty does know anything, jail will sweat it out of her.
At the same time, police last week arrested others as part of the drug ring: ex husband, Ronald Cummings, 26, her brother, Hank, Jr., aka Tommy, Ronald cousin Hope Sykes and Misty confidante Donna Brock, 44.
As for Tommy Croslin, Misty’s brother who is charged with one count of trafficking, his wife Lindsay tells me that he’s “an addict, not a criminal. He’s sick, he’s sick. The worst he’s ever done is smoke weed until he got hooked on Roxydcondone.”
In an exclusive interview with The Bald Truth, his wife, Lindsay, says she’s tried to get him into a rehab program, “but the cheapest one costs $8,700 a month and we don’t have it. I could get a judge to lock him up for 72 hours, but he’d come out of the hospital and need drugs for his habit. I don’t know what to do.”

Police knew she would go and get drugs as a favor, IMHO she has a low self esteem and is a follower. They had the years and experience to know it and they lead her straight into with the bias and hate. Calling her up repeatedly asking for that favor for her to get someone to bring to them to sell them drugs, half the time it was not even her selling them. To then turn around and say she was the ring leader is a representation of the bias spins they place on things, it is a clear message that they have an agenda. They knew exactly what they were doing. They have already made their minds up apparently in Putnam one can be convicted of a crime with out any proof or trial and targeted by Police become subject of public mutiny and manipulated story telling with bias spins. This department is down right corrupt it’s rather disconcerting and quite frightening. She needs to take accountability for her actions but life in prison for this is not Justice. It’s a representation of Putnam LE and it’s not a good one

Its easy to hope for the best when you are a parent, we all do tht, and we never want to admit that the child we know so well, could be the very person others say they are.
When reading the arrest reports provided, among the stuff logged into evidence, are the DVDs of the transactions.
Having already served on a jury here in Putnam, in a drug case, I can tell you, while it may not be hollywood, the quality is sufficent to see what is going on.
These drug cases are exactly what the FDLE need to apply pressure to BOTH parties involved directly with the dissappearance of Haliegh.
Misty the ring leader? Doubtful, However, I do believe the CONTROLING interest in this case is already behind bars.. Ron

I would like to say in response to Hank Croslin’s statement that, No father wants to believe his baby girl is a drug dealer and Hank is no different. This is a wake-up call for them. Lets not forget that its because of Misty’s out of control life involving drugs and loose morals in general that a little girl is missing. THAT IS MISTY CROSLIN FAULT 100%. Misty had a choice and Haleigh did not. Its as simple as that.
As far as Tommy Croslin goes and Lindsay Croslin saying she doesnt know what to do…well, she can start by convincing Tommy to fess up all that he knows about Haleigh. The whole world knows that he has to know something. He and his sister are pretty close and watch each others backs. Well, Tommy has kids and his 1st responsibility is to his kids and not his sister. Tell the truth Tommy.
Nancy Grace had a really great show last night. Nancy, you made me cry when you said you had a soft spot in your heart every time you watched Ronald Cummings break down sobbing and laying his head down in the grass, begging for the return of his child. That is real ! I too cry every single time I hear it or see it, or even just see a still photo of it and how anyone can think its fake is beyond me. This man speaks from the heart and Haleigh is his heart. I pray for a miracle and that she is somehow, someway, ok.
I think you Art did a fantastic job. I would like to say in your defense to Nancy Grace that I donot think you were calling the Croslin family by their 1st names out of friendly familiarity, or thinking they were innocent. I think its just a difference in culture. Nancy Grace is from the South. Some people thought Ronald Cummings and his mother Ms. Neves were being phony by calling Nancy Grace, Miss Nancy. That too is considered polite in some parts of the south.
Art, I think you are a gentleman in all respects and above reproach and that you make an effort to do things properly and with due respect. I believe that due to the nature of this case most people are on edge and perhaps offences are perceived when there aren’t any intended.
I can tell that you have alot of sincere respect for Nancy Grace. I think it stung a little when she said that to you. I certainly didnt see it coming and replayed it to make sure I heard right. After all you and her are on the same TEAM. The one that wants to do whatever you can to BRING HALEIGH HOME. You are all of one mind on that. I am sure with everyone looking, praying and hoping, that she will be home soon.

Thanks for the story, I was hoping the Croslin’s would be interviewed.
Lindsay, IMO appears to be an enabler. Hank Sr. has been charged with Dr. shopping & she blames that on the fact that he cannot read. She admits to her husband’s drug use & states he is not a criminal, yet his mother says he is. Tommy’s mother said he stole a gun, which he has been charged with. He’s now charged with drug dealing & has even been caught with drugs in his car. Last I looked, these are all criminal charges & his bond on the gun charge has been revoked.
Hank Sr. says IF Misty bought some pills, it was a favor. She was also tipped $100 for this “favor”. And in just these instances we see, she does “favors” on a regular basis.
Where was Jr. when all this was going on? If Tommy is an addict, why does Lindsay allow her kids to get in the car with him? WTH watches these kids when the adults are high? If these people aren’t dealing, who is supporting them all? Is there anyone there to help them w/homework? Apparantly Lindsay doesn’t think using roxies & weed is criminal. Her kids don’t stand much of a chance with that kind of thinking & example. IMO

Ronald Cummings well on his way to helping to hang Misty, yes she is to blame for what she did regarding the drug deals, but mark my words, Ron will do anything he has to do to make sure that Misty fries. When was he ever made to face any consqences for anything he has done? I agree with one of Nancy’s guests who said he is a pathological lier, abuser, and manipulater, and nothing in those jailhouse tapes hold any creedence. Misty has just turned 18, Rons’s rap sheet goes back years..what does that tell you ?

Another great performance on NG, Art. There’s a lot to evaluate in what was discussed tonight..Pat Brown, criminal profiler was right on in my beliefs..Even NG softened a bit when Pat spoke..I was shocked to hear NG tell Pat, “do you really think Ron had something to do with it”? Misty and Ron are still together. She wouldn’t have a recent tattoo of his name on her back, and caught dealing drugs with him if they weren’t. You don’t marry the person you suspect of killing, or being a part of your childs’ disappearance, unless you want to keep her very close to you in order to protect your secret.. He even admitted it, saying keep your enemy close.I think that was a play on words. She is not his enemy. Partner in crime comes to mind.. IMO I think the “girlfriend” he referred to in the jail interview is Misty..Ron has lied so much it is a way of life for him..He is never severely punished, and has the mindset he is above the law..That is, until now..I agree with Pat, “Ron keeps Misty close because he is afraid of what she will tell”..Now Ron is saying he thinks Misty knows what happened..Let’s see if Misty turns on him.. If they are both involved Misty will not take the full blame…The plot thickens.

I commented way back Art that I thought Ronald Cummings,knows or had some envolvment in Haliegh’s disapearance.Watching Nancy Grace tonight which you were on also,I see Pat Brown thinks the same way I do. There is something about him that just bugs me.I do not believe that Misty would hurt her.It all boils down to all the drug use. Art what do you think?

I can see why her father wouldn’t want to believe his daughter was the mastermind or ringleader, he’s her father, I would most likely think the same way.
I think the reason that Misty won’t say what happened to Haleigh is that she doesn’t know. Back when this poor child went missing, I never believed Misty story. I thought then and now that Misty left those two babies alone that night, for what reason, I don’t know. While she was gone someone went into that home and took that child. I’ve always thought that either someone was looking for drugs or someone knew it was Misty’s habit to leave the children alone and abducted Haleigh. And I think it was someone who live near. I remember the very sad case of Jessica Lunsford and that creature Couey abducting that poor child from her home. He lived very close.
I just wish Misty would tell the truth. If she left the children alone then say so. Maybe now, she will be more willing to say what happened that night.
It makes me sad to look at Misty. The girl is only 18, she has already been married, has a drinking and drug problem, was left to babysit with two small children and one goes missing and now in jail for selling drugs. The most this young girl should be worried about is what college will she attend. Sad, very sad.

What was Misty anyway. I read the police reports and she set up all these deals but like Donna came and the money went to Donna and Donna gave the detective the pills. In other reports sounds like Misty called around and found dealers or users that would sell their pills to this guy but she did not make the money, she got paid $30.00 fee for setting up the transaction or some other fee for setting up the transaction. What is that called? Dealer, I know but is there a word for that? What about all the people that actually sold the drugs (had the drugs) and got the money for the drugs, are they all going to get arrested or what?

A friend of Misty told me about six weeks ago she ran into him in a grocery store in Palatka, where he was shopping with a girlfriend who was purportedly a stripper … She was fuming, not because of the girlfriend, but Misty spied him using her foodstamps to buy groceries for them. Great show on JVM tonight. What a difference between her and Nancy. She is polite to her panelist and gives you time to articulate your thought. Also, she has been an advocate for stopping the violence in our Country that is more prevalent than anywhere in world. She has such a positive outlook. Nancy on the other hand only cares about creating monsters and sending somebody, anybody, to jail for life. I think she would really prefer to just sentence anyone to die that she “thinks” is guilty. In a way her and Ron do have a lot in common. At any rate you did a good job on both shows. A majority of the families have a Tommy and Misty somewhere in their family and they also have a Lindsey who would like to help but no place to go for help for a loved one. I admire her for trying to keep her family together and showing unconditional love. We sure need rehab center for the poor. But as the good Lt Gov in SC said, “don’t feed stray animals or poor people, they will likely reproduce”.

I thought they did not even have foodstamps anymore but some kind of credit card and that you have to have ID to match the card. Like an ATM card. Is Misty pregnant?

Lindsay needs to forget about getting Tommy into counseling, druggies, alcoholics etc., won’t change unless they make the choice to change. Lindsay, you only have control of yourself, so get into counseling for co-dependency and empowerment. You and your children deserve a healthy lifestyle.
Irrelevant what Misty’s dad states. Reality, is she is a druggie and a drug dealer, and will be in Prison for most of her adult life for her illegal actions.
Art-next time you talk to Hank Sr. or the Croslin family tell them that if they want to help out Misty, they should tell her that it’s all over the Media where Teresa Neves and Ronald Cummings are blaming her for Haleigh missing. Take her a news paper where the Headlines state RONALD CUMMINGS BELEIVES MISTY IS HIDING SOMETHING ABOUT HALEIGH!

Ron was using Misty’s foodstamps to buy food for himself and his GF? That’s rich. But then how did he come in possession of Misty’s fooodstamp card? Why does Misty get foodstamps? Ah well.
I wouldn’t believe a word that came out of Hank Croslin’s mouth if God was sitting next to him. He is just as involved in the drug activitiers as his children are, they probably learned the tricks of the trade right on their daddy’s knee.
Lindsay, you admit your husband is an addict….GET HIM SOME HELP PERIOD. Otherwise, IMO, you are just as guilty as he is. Start by insisting he begin to turn his life around by telling the truth the whole truth about what he knows regarding the night Haleigh disappeared.

Does anyone know the timeline of where Haleigh was the day she disappeared? I want to know what time did she get home from scool? Who was home? Did neighbors see her playing in the yard? When did Ronald go to work? Ronald seems to have an anger problem (domestic abuse)along with a drug problem. Could it be Misty is afraid to say anything cause Ronald will kill her if she does. I just have a problem with how he says the same thing everytime. Also how does a dad go out and sell drugs after his daughter goes missing? I think the reaction would be to clean up your act and never stop looking or doing something to find her. Something doesn’t add up…

Art I agree 100% with Pat Brown. I posted with you along time back that even the most solid alibis are found out. I did not in the very beginning think Ron was apart of the disappearance ,but it did not take long to figure him out. I do agree with the above poster that Misty is not actually his enemy. She only becomes the enemy if she tells on Ron. I have always believed he has coached her through all of this. You mentioned on NG at the beginning of the week how Rons mother would be standing over Misty staring at her and Misty would wake to find her there. This girl has been completely intimidated and frieghtened by this family. I just cannot figure out why she did not spill the beans earlier. You don’t think Mistys family has been threatened if she opens her mouth do you? Misty is infatuated with Ron and more than likely truely believes she loves him. I believe Misty is the gf Ron called out to. Why else would she brand herself to belong to Ron Cummings. Jail house interview is a wonderful way to communicate with those you cannot reach by phone. Whether it be an I love you or a threat to someone if they open their mouth. Ron knew his interview would be gobbled up by the media and viewers.
I say that when someone does speak up LE will know the truth when they hear it. They already have it figured out.

Go back and listen to my audio interview with neighbor Jerry Santos who saw Ron speed by the last morning he took Haleigh to school; Misty was in the car; they’d been up all night fighting after she showed up from her long weekend with White Boy Greg Page and Nay Nay Prevatt; he overslept and they were in a hurry. Another tardy and he’d have been in the doghouse with school officials, and child welfare workers. He was also threatening to Santos when his neighbor reminded him it happened the morning she went missing, when Ron tried to say it was another day. Wonder why? Ron is a local thug, a wannabe gangster who has used threats and intimidation with all his exes they’ve told me in interviews–Amber, Crystal and (friends of) Misty.
You’re also right about looking his child; unlike a typical parent, he never dropped by the sheriff’s department to push them to keep looking, never organized a search on his own. But he did spend time throwing his weight around as a celebrity grieving parent in town to demand free meals at Chili’s and elsewhere, snarf money from jars in convenience stores left for the Haleigh search saying it was for him, buy tatoos and continue to party, oh, and deal drugs.

Mr. Harris, you are appreciated for following this story. I watch/tape Nancy Grace program every night. Don’t worry about using first names as we hear the names over, over, and over every night anyway. We see over and over the same ole thing over and over and even from the night before. I tape this program so I can actually skip through it and end up spending about 15 minutes viewing. While I love Nancy Grace and what she does, she has some issues and character flaws (we all do) but not aired on TV. Or is that part of what she is supposed to do in an attempt to keep the show entertaining? It’s not and I bet most viewers will agree that every single individual deserves not to be embarassed and cut down. I find it hard that she could get away with it. I would never need to be a reporter as I would tell her to shut the hell up. Her panel just lets it go and that tells me about the quality of character you all have. What you need to do is continue using first names if you so choose. Do people keep calm and quite because it’s your income…that would make sense. Don’t get me wrong, I think she is a wonderful person but that is one character flaw she needs help on.
Like Nancy Grace, I have a soft spot in heart for Ronald Cummings. I have a couple family members he reminds me of. They were good at one time and drugs are consuming them. There is no belitting them from me. Speak in a positive attitude and respect and who knows, they might turn around their lives with a kind word. Hearing the words trash is sickening too. They were put here on earth by our maker just like we all were. Bethany Marshall, Psychoanalyst, Author of Dealbreakers, psycho turns me off. She can’t psycho anybody’s thinking, their life, etc. What about Bethany making the comment such as “bring in a preacher – word of God” person rather than an attorney or trusted friend. There’s no such thing as trusting a friend other than your mother. Also, Ms. Bethany, there is a Ronald Cummings in all families or there will be; your children; your grandchildren…never know. Also, it should be addressed that it’s frightening to me to speak little of others as I was always afraid the same situation would happen to me. She has done this on more than one occasion.
Having a soft spot in my heart for Ronald, it broke my heart that he simply wants newspapers. Is there anywhere or anyway that a person can donate to him for reading material, for the canteen, etc. I don’t care who thinks I’m crazy; that’s ok. My husband is in law enforcement; retired with the Police Department and now works for the Sheriff’s Department. There is a place where the prisoners grow their own food and sell to the public. A person can really save on vegetables normally but not me. Get a lot for $3.00 to $5.00 dollars but I drop a $10.00 to $20.00 dollar tip so these guys (trustees) can get a few snacks. If there is an address I can donate to, I would appreciate it and also in what form…check, money order?
It is a twist in Ronald’s friendship with Misty. But I’m not qualified to figure that one out and neither is anybody else. Only God can do this and not some psychoanalyst that got a degree in trying to read somebody’s head

I love Mississipppi, spent alot of time covering it for The Washington Post…as for gardens like that, don’t know if Fla. corrections has them, but suggest you google and research it a bit; you can go online for the address of the St. John’s County Correctional if you want Ronald Cummings address; you might need the inmate number which you can get off the inmate list online. There is nothing more that I would like more than seeing Ronald released from jail with a slap on his hand. There might be some mistakes he’s made but he will and has suffered enough. I say put him on probation and never get involved with drugs or else…jail time then. God Bless Ronald and his mother, Teresa. There is no way in my mind that Ronald had one thing to do with this. He just chose the wrong brat to spend his life with.

Art, I think I double posted, I am interested in the post here about “Chad” and “WBG” knowing exactly what happened to Haleigh and the bit of truth to that so called jail house letter. As I posted earlier, I have tried to watch NG but, she never gives you time to answer and then disrespects your answer, even though you are down here reporting. As some of us have reported, I would love for LE to show Misty what RC and his mother is saying about her. Someone posted on another site that it will be Misty to roll first. As far as RC, his mother stating that it was Misty’s fault he is into drugs, tells me RC mother blames everyone for RC short comings, I think RC is just as guilty and I hope he is sent away for a very long time.

I am sick of Nancy Grace kissing Ron’s ass she will look stupid when this is all over.I have always believed Ron has something to do with Haleigh’s disapearance him and Misy are hiding something.What was the point in getting a divorve if Ron is going to go back to Misty and sleeping with her? and I don’t want to hear that bullcrap excuse “keep your enemies closer” iam not bying that anymore.Pat Brown thinks the same way I do there are alot of people who believe Ron knows where his daughter is and Nancy is just to damn blind to see the truth.Ron on the 911 call was so FAKE,he was whining like a little kid,he was so dramatic.
Another thing is Ron said he was calling Misty all night but couldn’t get ahold of her.He was caught on Surveillance Camera at a store after he got off work “if he went to work at all”.Why would he go to a store after work if he couldn’t get ahold of Misty? why wouldn’t he go straight home to see if everything was okay?.When he got home he told police Misty was up late and she was outside.He said he asked Misty what she doing up and why was she outside.Okay if he couldn’t get ahold of her all night why didn’t he ask her questions like…. Where were you all night? I’ve been calling you and you didn’t answer, How come you didn’t answer when i was calling? he didn’t ask her anything but why are you up so late?.WHAT THE HELL??.Maybe because he already knew what happened!.
If some one was watching my kids and they didn’t answer the phone when i was calling i would be thinking something was wrong.I would be asking my babysitter 100 questions when i got home.I wouldn’t just ask why are you still up?.

I believe in rehabilitation especially at this age, intervention. Misty’s dad is not healthy and though I do believe in his claims Misty is a follower I also hold these parents accountable for where her life is at. She is also accountable and has to take responsibility but not with her life in prison. IMHO she has to be away from all of her family and the patterns she has learned in life that got her here. I’m not quick to assume that her and her brother are that close she is still a child wait until she is woman and then ask. I don’t believe she had anything to do with Haleigh being taken. I think she was exhausted from being up for several hours and mentally exhausted from working on a relationship for hours with Ronald and being a teenager I think she slept through who ever knocked on the front door, who ever Haleigh opened it up to. Unknown to everyone the person is either a predator of opportunity and she is not alive, or she was sold and maybe alive. Either way IMHO I think finding her will tell the story of what happened to her. What is LE doing to find her?

I believe they have the right one in jail but it’s not Misty. Let’s face the facts here, Ron is a pedophile and his mom condones this which makes her as bad as him. He’s lived in her home with all his child girlfriends and that’s all he’s had, school girls. And look at the children he has chosen for his girlfriends, kids they can manipulate, and kids from dysfunctional homes that have low self-esteem.
Debbie I’m from Georgia and I don’t use Ms. in front of names. This is 2010 and not many southerners use it any more. There are more recovering folks in the south today and I’d rather see my kid being honest than forced to be respectful to some folks who don’t deserve respect.
Look at Rons body language and “keeping his enemies closer” is nothing but drama queen talk that you hear from addicts all the time.
There’s something I learned years ago, if a practicing addicts lips are moving they are lying. You have so many addicts in this drama that’s a whole lot of lies being told.
I’m sure Misty is as guilty as the others but I see the ring leaders being Ron and his mom. He’s been diddling school girls for a long time and his mom has been his accomplice. That’s sick in my book so his babies never had a chance.
This case is so interesting because of the characters and the fact that a baby can just disappear, Misty is not that smart or motivated. Someone knows where Haleigh’s at and whoever knows is great at keeping secrets and manipulation. Misty is just not that bright, she’s a child and has to be lead.

Nancy Grace has a soft spot in her heart for Ron Cummings. So, I guess Nancy condones neglecting and abusing children, and spousal abuse. I like Nancy’s bulldog tactics, but she is a hypocrite with this story!!! Anytime a spouse is being abused, statistics reflects higher odds children are being abused, or “over disciplined” as well. Anytime a parent abuses or traffics drugs, children have access to drugs, and the parent is not alert or conscious of any dangers to the child. Regardless IF Ron played an active role in Haleigh’s disappearance or not, Ron did participate in Haleigh’s disappearance by his actions and drug abuse. One thing that should be clear, is that the drug abuse is not limited to the Croslin family, yet extends to the Cummings family as well. IMO, this played a role in Junior’s custody battle, and why Crystal regained custody of Junior.
Art- I appreciate your coverage and hard work in this story. And yes, LE is following the trail!! Follow the money and drugs, this will lead LE to Haleigh’s whereabouts!!!

My thought. Why would he have her foodstamps? She had to have given them to him. Maybe he told her he needed them for himself and Junior. I know it would be difficult for myself to give my exhusband my debit card or even $5 for all the hell he put me through. My children never disappeared, however, the death threats were continuously coming at the time. After the incident last month with Misty and Ronald I believe they are together to some degree and not just business associates. He divorced Misty for the public’s sake. The girlfriend is a decoy in all of this mess. A person the age of Misty is vulnerable to deception. Even the mastermind herself is vulnerable to whatever Ronald tells her. I can see this playing out to be you go your way and I will go mine…appearing the two have moved on.
Flipside- Ronald maintaining friendship to find Haleigh.
Q:Using someone elses foodstamps. Did she give them to Ronald? Or is her mail going to his address?
My initial feeling that Ronald is innocent in the disappearance of Haleigh has not changed. I continue to believe he is innocent no matter how controlling. His being controlling is the reason we do not have resolution. Misty is scared of his reaction. The past couple nights Nancy Grace has brought to light an interview of Ronald from inside the jail. I agree with Ronald that Misty will talk for two reasons. A plea deal and her being behind bars gives comfort for when the truth comes out Ronald will not be able to access her.

The actions of Ronald throughout Haleigh’s disappearance has been the only thing he has ever known. I cannot condemn him for not organizing searches. (majority of the time nothing comes of the search) He has taken every opportunity to go on national television in hopes of keeping the image of Haleigh fresh in people’s mind. Now his use of the donated money to find Haleigh is about as wonderful as Crystal Sheffield herself. Everytime he appeared on national television his trip was funded by the show not from his personal account. I have yet to see where any of the funds have went to find Haleigh. That is where my issue lies. Please correct me if I am wrong.
The past few months are of concern to me. Around mid-November the case seemed to have come to a screeching hault. No words heard from either camp on wanting to find Haleigh. Instead of searching for answers they have come quite self absorbed.
It is clear what has happened here within their personal lives and I do not agree. Below working class level, child missing, funds donated. For so long of not having money they spent it. Not spending funds to hire a PI, instead to cover their own agendas. Personally I would not see anything wrong with him using the funds to support himself and Junior. ONLY if he were more actively searching for Haleigh.
On a side note- Nancy Grace
She is flat out rude in some cases. I want to reinterate the fact that she puts a stop on rumors before they start. Gets right to the point. Sometimes her attitude is not appreciated. What she has set out to accomplish is very much appreciated. I commend her for her hard work. An example of her putting a stop to unfounded and outrageous ideas is from a couple nights ago. Morgan Harrington was found in the middle of a field on a farm 10 miles from the last confirmed sighting of her. A gentleman on Nancy’s show had the nerve to say maybe she was airlifted there, fell out of a plane. Nancy stopped it right away. There are times when she must uphold the integrity of the show. Deeming the snarky attitude as appropriate.
After all the events that have occurred this past year the question remains where is Haleigh? Only a couple events continue to give us hope for resolution. One Misty failed both voice analysis test and a lie detector. Second and definitely most important LE has not given up and continue to do an outstanding job. They were only waiting for the opportune moment. Now they have this and are going to nail it to the person responsible.

There is nothing more that I would like more than seeing Ronald released from jail with a slap on his hand. There might be some mistakes he’s made but he will and has suffered enough. I say put him on probation and never get involved with drugs or else…jail time then. God Bless Ronald and his mother, Teresa. There is no way in my mind that Ronald had one thing to do with this. He just chose the wrong brat to spend his life with.

In my opinion,,,,,The police seem so set on trying to pin this on Misty that they pushed her to the bottom, to her bottom, thats how I feel about this. When are these police going to find Haleigh. I for one am tired of watching them waste my tax dollars. They might get some confessions out of this, but I would bet they r false confessions to make the police LOOK good but if these people dont no where Haleigh is Haleighs where about will not come from any of their confession. So what do you call what just happened here. A way to close the Haleigh case, a way to make it look like the cops got the bad guy. A seventeen year old who was as dumb as a rock, yes so smart she can fool the FBI.. This sentence alone should show she isnt smart enough to cover up what they say she is covering up. She was a poor lost kid prior to this, and now look what they have pushed her into. These are my opinions. I sure wish the Law was on the side of the truth not fabracations..

He said that he looked under the beds for Haleigh but how is that possible when the mattresses are on the floor? I just want someone to point that out to her because Misty said that’s what she did and Ron has backed up the statement & to me its a LIE cause the mattresses are on the floor.

For those of you who find it odd that people use drugs, drink and all that after their child goes missing.
I would imagine after your child dies or goes missing and you are left to the unknown faith of your child depression would set in. It has been a year, imagine all that Ron has gone threw in that year of not knowing where, who, what, when. This has been extremely stressful on each of the loving family of Haleigh. I watched a brother who was so against drugs walk in on his wife in bed with another guy. they wife moved out, the brother was so depressed he started drinking, frequenting bars, wanting to be dead and wow he got hooked onto drugs cause this person who was always against drugs didnt want to live anymore so it didnt matter to him..
I would imagine the depression that comes with losing a loved one would do alot to any one person who wouldnt understand that until you watch or feel it yourself.

Rehab costs too much? Cry me a river. 12 step meetings are free. I allowed drugs to get me in big trouble and got clean in a holding cell. After I got out, it was time for a lifestyle change. Non-addicts would be surprised how often that does not happen. I went through the VAs stay clean classes, attend meetings and have 6 years clean, one day at a time. I sympathize with a parent’s plight over an addict child. I had a great upbringing by loving parents. It was not their fault, nor was it their responsibility. Nobody can get clean until they admit THEY are responsible for what impact their addiction has on society. Some times an arrest becomes a rescue if the person popped wises up. Most of the time, they think they just have to be more careful. To use an expensive rehab as an excuse is not only childish, it is irresponsible. It takes work to get and stay clean. Its easier to keep using and grabbing any excuse you can. Having enablers like her coming up with more excuses is not going to help anyone or anything. I could go on and on, but folks get it or they don’t.

Art, I am leaning toward the theory that there was a party the night Haleigh went missing, could you please let me know if you heard that this person Chad (where the party supposedly occured) was investigated and whether or not his house was csi tested etc… If I were LE I would have certainly checked this guy Chads house out forensically to determine if Haleigh had been there or an overdose occured in the home, looked for signs such as vomiting, bodily fluids, etc… you never know what LE could have missed. Did you hear anything about his home being tested????

I am anxiously awaiting your input on NG’s show tonight..If she mentions to you again, “why do you use their first names”, you should reply, “would you prefer I call them trash, like you do?” Ok, you can leave out the “like you do”..lol She will get the message..She calls the Coslin’s everything but human, and gets away with it..NG will never say she thinks Ron had anything to do with Haleigh’s disappearance.. Whatever Ron Cummings problems are, one is not supposed to diagnose personality disorders or psychiatric disorders when a person is on drugs, because drugs cause antisocial behavior. Ron Cummings maybe capable of this but if he was at work, and people saw Haleigh after he went to work, how could he have done this? Other than Misty giving her drugs to sleep and him knowing about it or something else and her calling and telling him. I thought he was at work?
Ron Cummings is not at St. Johns. He was at Flagger, now he is at Putnam County Jail. Tommy Croslin has three new robbery charges and they are all in that neighborhood where neighbors say he wanders the streets late at night. A second gun was stolen-I think it is safe to say Tommy took the gun and not this cousin. In these case Tommy has forced entry from the back porch screen door cut, lock force and sometimes forced a window. He could have unlocked that door when he was over earlier. He has put himself at the scene already. I think Tommy did somthing with Haleigh.

I could also point out here that Crystal also looked straight into the camera and lied about her drug use. Just as Ron did. They also collected lots of money for searches that never happened. I read they raffled a vehilce and held a concert as well, had money jugs all over the place. I read some of this on this website in a letter from Kim Picazio to the court. Kim Picazio also said that Crystal did not call LE about Haleigh even though Kim told her to do so. Just seems strange to me that both parents did the same type things yet this website seems to point out how wrong it is of RC to have done this or that, when from what I saw Crystal did it 20 times more. Yet nobody called her a psychopath for looking into the camera and lying, and she did so many times. I think if Misty knows anything she will roll……

Art, Is there a reason (after looking a booking details) that the Croslin’s (Tommy Croslin and Misty Croslin-Cummings ) are the only two people out of 5 arrested, that has their bond reduced? Out of six people (add Kelly) The two people LE have held accountable to know something about Little Haleigh, are the two with reduced bail, according to the jail records as of this date. Also why Has the Kelly person (didn’t even request last name? but was there during drug buy?????) not charged? My main confusion with her not being arrested is the fact she was only barely mentioned. If you’re there you gotta know something, (about the drug transaction). And if it’s a drug deal chances are they are not usually, a bystander.

I used to think Ron was innocent and Misty really didn’t know what happened.
BUT NOW…….I think Pat Brown is right. Ron may have done something, something BEFORE he went to work. And Misty is just covering to protect him because she thinks she loves him.
Now in his jailhouse interviews, he seems to imply that he thought Misty had some guilt all along, and he was just going along with her to get at the truth. So that when Misty finally tells what happened, the truth, and implicates his ass, he will make out like she is just shifting blame on him to clear herself.
I think he is scared shit-less that Misty WILL tell the truth. And the truth is, that he is the guilty one in this whole mess. The only thing Misty is guilty of is letting herself be manipulated by Ron.
Pat Brown is considered an expert, and I believe her theory is a perfect example of why.

i think Ronald was in the disapperance of little Haliegh from the beginning. starting with the 911 call. there was a different tone in his voice when he was talking to 911 he was yelling and cursing Misty but when she was talking he can be heard in the background talking calm telling her what to say. and as far as the job alibi you can always get someone to clock you in or get them to cover for you. and they wouldn’t tell. they may lose thier jobs and more

Especially if they are needing a fix. NG is also fooled; but if it was her underage daughter that was hooked up with ron, she would be hollering for the police to arrest him. OPEN up your eyes! This man is a mannipulator that preys on young and naive girls!!! TN is a enabler, and I’d like to know who she is protecting, Haleigh or her son???? Remember Hank was using alot of painkillers after a car wreck just before Haleigh vanished…and later accused Ronald of trying to poison him after requesting a pill or three, bought him a weekend on the psych ward. Take a look at the police report I posted long ago. I’m also told the reason he and Lisa, his wife, were mad at Misty a while back, about the time they began expressing public doubts that she likely knew more about Haleigh gone missing…well, she had a prescription for Valium, and refused to share. Today Show has footage of Haleigh’s bed. The room has really been cleaned. I had not seen this video, the ones I saw she had things on this bed, toys, clothing and blankets. Some boxes as well.
Art, Haleigh lived a block from Hank Jr right? Hank is robbing and gaining entry from the back porch-cutting screens, prying open doors, going out windows and wondering the streets late at night. This is all so odd. If Misty is some drug deal why does she need a prescription for the Valium. I wonder if Misty got this because of the stress when she failed all those tests and everyone was pointing at her as a liar OR she got that before because she thought it would help her pass the test?

The Croslins have also done a 180 on the van right? Now, saying this van was not moved at all and they are sure? I read this but was not sure this is true. I wondered if that could be because they have put it together that it was not the cousin (alone or at all)but someone closer to home? Someone they want to protect, like Hank?

HAving worked in a trauma center for many years, I had to give many, many people news that would instantly change their entire lives forever. That would cause their worlds to literally collapse around them. Their child had died in a car accident, thier husband, mother, sister, etc. And I saw all kids of shoch, grief and horror in the faces of those hearing this news.
I promise you, anyone reading this, that Ronald Cummings had absolutely nothing to do with his daughters disappearance. In that 911 tape, I hear the rage, grief, disbelief and horror, that is so genuine, so primal, so deep, it can not be faked. The tapes of him in the following days confirmed that for me. That man may not have been perfect but that man loved his daughter and part of him died that night.

Nancy Grace likes to keep showing Ronald falling to the ground and crying because somebody stole Haleigh. Has she not notice that not one tear is falling from his eyes? I watched Susan Smith cry the same way about 15 years ago on television.

If Tommy really wanted help he could get it, without paying 8,700 a month, as Lindsay stated..He first has to want to. There’s a program for drug addicts much like alcoholics anonymous. I can’t think of the name of it..I hope she will pursue every avenue available for she and Tommy.. I don’t see how their marriage can survive if they don’t.. IMO

Sounds familar, isn’t that what Hank Sr. did? But in all the reports it seems like they go get the drugs from somebody. I guess if these are just normal folks that would not normally sell their meds then the problem is solved. But, I would worry that the people that had the medicines or drugs in this case because of how they are being used, are still on the streets, except for Donna. The guy in the truck that Hank Jr got the meds from, the house that Misty and Hope went to get the pills and whoever Ron called on the phone. Seems to me like in all the calls the guy made to Misty, she called around and found him pills and paid someone for them or had Ron or Hope or her brother do that.
Just a concern since they say this is about drugs and getting them off the streets. Is it to hard to prove since they do not have the others on tape or anything?

To Guesswhatfolks: Was talking about Misty but Crystal too.
People don’t let your kids run wild or spoil them as everybody might not love them like you do when they become adults. Say “no” as much as you say “yes” even when you would love to say “yes” more when they want something or want to do something. I did my daughter and only child. I was the oldest of six so spoiling was over with. Misty as probably turned loose to watch herself at an early age and do whatever.

That is very true but I do hope (assuming he is not guilty of this crime, involved, knowledge, etc. that his time will be short.
Also, he needs to quit talking about “killing” whoever did this. We all know if someone took our child, we would love to see the death penalty.
Ignorant father of Misty…doing people favors…such a role model for both parents to be. Tell your kids, run for the hills if someone offers you drugs.
Might also add that when my daughter was about 15 she gave me nightmares..skipped school, smoked her pot. I took her straight to a rehab center. The ARK Center in Jackson, Mississippi. I think they are closed now but sure had a good program.

Okay first to the person that goes by the name sadstory. My son has autism. Some days better then others. I grieve for my son. All the things my son won’t be able to do and the day I die who is going to protect him then. Knowing all of that should I be a drug addict. Ronald was a drug addict before all of this. His daughter had a condition. Did he do right by her? NO!. In fact the only statement they had about Ronald was the morning Haleigh was late for school he was worried that he would be in trouble with the state. Ummm that means they couldn’t be happy with the care you were already giving right?
I believe the true Ronald is the one on the 911 tape. The how do you let me daughter get stole b one. When I saw a video of the room it had been cleaned. Remember all the dirty clothes blocked the side door. They said it had been cleaned. Where was Jr.’s bed. Misty said he slept with her? If you could tell me the site you found this I would greatly appreciate it.

Ron falling to the ground the next day Haleigh went “missing” was so FAKE,he was whining like a little kid,he was so dramatic,not one tear was falling from his eyes.He was trying way to heard just i really do believe Ron has something to do with Haleigh’s disapearance.Just seems really odd to me that Ron would see be sleeping with his EX WIFE and hanging with out her when she was the last person to see his daughter.Soemthing just isn’t right here.

I could also point out here that Crystal also looked straight into the camera and lied about her drug use. Just as Ron did. They also collected lots of money for searches that never happened. I read they raffled a vehilce and held a concert as well, had money jugs all over the place. I read some of this on this website in a letter from Kim Picazio to the court. Kim Picazio also said that Crystal did not call LE about Haleigh even though Kim told her to do so. Just seems strange to me that both parents did the same type things yet this website seems to point out how wrong it is of RC to have done this or that, when from what I saw Crystal did it 20 times more. Yet nobody called her a psychopath for looking into the camera and lying, and she did so many times. I think if Misty knows anything she will roll……

What IF Misty really has told LE all she can remember, what IF she truly wasn’t involved and truly doesn’t know where Haleigh is? What will LE do if these jail busts don’t bring anything new to light, are they still actively searching for Haleigh?
The TRUTH will prevail, I hate all the lies, falsifications and twists that have gone on in this very sad case of a missing little girl, the circus surrounding her if pathetic, precious Haleigh deserves THE TRUTH, no matter who it implicates. Also, the TRUTH cannot be bought.

Who are you referring to as far as Ronald’s aunt? I’ve missed whatever on TV regarding an aunt. No membership here…I keep up with all these crimes, I thought. Susan Smith sholving here two little boys into John D. Long Lake was guilty the minute I saw her on TV. She didn’t need a trial for me. I can tell when your guilty. About the same on the Jon Benet’ Ramsey case which was an “inside the home job.”
Granted Ronald’s drug use has gotten him into the worse nightmare he could have every imagined and didn’t need to raise children in that environment. He’s got a problem simply by hanging out AGAIN with Misty. His life was on the wrong track to begin with. Drugs will warp a person’s mind and make them totally different and do abnormal things. My neice (about 25 yr. old) abondoned her two children because of drugs when, at one time, she was a good mother. Was in a competition at “The Dock” in Mississippi. She was not selected to go to Nashville but two night clubs approached her to sing at their clubs. Beautiful face, beautiful voice…all gone now.
Ronald is not a child predator or he would be after small children. These mothers that let their teenagers dress provocative; wear skin tight tops/low cut and all hanging; skin tight jeans are much to blame. All that does is throw your daughters out there to attract rapists or older guys. Also, these girls push for these type guys and put it out there for the taking.
I don’t know this family or any of the others. I suppose my interest is because my husband retired with the Police Department and now with the Sheriff Dept. and has had to witness in cases. Most of the prisoners on his crew is in jail because it all started over drug use. I don’t think Misty will crack as she probably was in a blackout. I do think she remembers where and who she was with for three days and that’s about it. Trust me, I’m not a family member.

Yada Yada, the kids had bed…both sleep with their father but had their own rooms to play in. They had beds. Look it up yourself. One is on the Today show but that is not the one I saw. I saw at least two where the rooms were kind of messy.

I want to get it clear I am in noway defending anyone.I myself have no right to judge,I can say I do have morales.I did have a strong handed Dad,that I was very afraid to disappoint.I think the people that are leaning toward Misty is they feel sorry, because they see the disfunction that she has lived in,I always think back to the voice stress test where on the tape she says she “had a hard life and it doesn’t look like it’s gonna get any better”.She had given up on herself,that’s really sad.Any given time you go to our emergency room there are pill heads waiting 6 hours for their 15 “tabs”,people breaking into houses,watching you coming out of the drug store ,if they know you have a script they ask how much you want for this how much for that it is crazy.Our insurance and medicaid paying for these pills and people making $5 to $25 a pill on the street for them, and our kids overdosing and dying.Or becoming addicted and living a life of crime and end up in and out of the system.I think the things that are in place now in our town to help drug addicts is not working we need to change it up.And go after ALL of them not just the ones that interest us at the time.Don’t get me wrong I know these are important,But come on……..God Bless Haleigh.
