Pat Lalama, our old friend and top LA based journalist and host, sat in for Nancy Grace Wednesday night, and invited us on her CNN HLN show for a Haleigh Cummings case update. It was a wide ranging interview that looked at Misty Croslin, the arrest of her father, Hank Croslin, Sr., and a police investigation that has put her whole family under the microscope.
As one FDLE agent told Misty’s sister inlaw when they arrested her father in Satsuma the other day, “We are not going away.”

Lindsay is lying through her teeth IMO. One moment she is outside of the Police station saying Misty had nothing to do with it and they all know nothing while her husband is inside giving a different story. Then she is says Misty is hiding something then she says Misty is not hiding anything nor is her family. This on top of what ever story her and her husband gave to Police in the Months before Hank had his big come back memory. In every arrest she has excuses for the behaviour to explain it away as not being bad or illegal, IMO it’s quite clear she is trying to convince her self more than anyone. Here is the issue her children are exposed to this dysfunction all their lives Hank Jr is not going to stop IMO he will go from one addiction to another in and out of jail until he dies and perhaps before he does he may admit what ever it is he is lying about and she needs to stop lying for him and enabling him. Take those children away on the grounds of the environment they are exposed to have Lindsay stay in agreement that she will not have contact with him order counciling and wait a bit and see what comes to light. I once heard of an officer who had to deal with a family like this and one sibling like Lindsay “at that time” she told the officer “I;m not telling you anything because what happens in a family is to stay with in the walls of that family” Then she promptly sent a legal notice to him that carried a threat of law suit and filed a complaint against him. This was because he was leaning in on them so much crazy stuff just lean in and don’t back off.

Mr. Harris:
I’m sure law enforcement has had the Crosin family and in particular, Misty, under their their watchful eye since Haliegh vanished. Considering the Croslin family’s willingness to throw each other under the bus, if you will, increases the chances someone in the family will reveal something revealing that could move the Haliegh Cummings case forward.
The public announcement that the Croslin family is being watched 24/7 should put a cramp in theiir life styles. With any luck, it will flush out some
information. TBD

Art you did a great job on Nancy Grace in fact I think you did a better job than she does you are very good at what you do. I hope they find Haleigh soon alive hope hope and pray but either way the family needs to know it is just not right for them to be suffering so long. We all know Misty knows more than she is saying I just wish the law could do more like make her stay in jail until she talks that would help I think but who knows she has held out this long hope she breaks soon. Maybe she was just so doped up she just does not care. God Bless you Art and God be with Haleigh’s family.

Art thanks for giving us hope that LE will bring Haleigh home no matter what. I pray that it will be before Christmas. I know that it is not so far away, but that is my wish for this holiday. Christmas is a time for special miracles and I truely believe this would be the best miracle of all. I will continue to pray for Haleigh and demand she have justice. Haleigh deserves this most of all.
Thank you Art Harris for keeping Haleigh front and center where she belongs, until she is found.
LE keep the pressure on!!! I believe you know who and perhaps what happened to Haleigh. I am praying for you all. Thank You LE. Please bring Haleigh home and put away those involved!!

Well, it appears LE is following the trail of drug abuse, to include abuse of oxycontin. So, is LE putting more stock into this letter that makes reference to Haleigh dieing from an accidental overdose?? Also, what I continue to wait for is when will LE interview Ron’s mother about her prescription for oxycontin, which she admitted to using during an interview on NG?? Drug abuse does not involve only Misty and her family, but it extends to Ron and his family!!! Don’t get tunnel vision LE!! But, no doubt Misty continues to be the key to Haleigh’s whereabouts!!! Art, I kept waiting for you to mention Ron and his family’s abuse of prescribes drugs on your NG interview!!!

Here is a part of NC’s transcripts of her show that aired September 23rd, 2009. As you read in part, Ron’s mother admits to having to take oxycontin and makes reference to the taste. Also, Neves states that Haleigh didn’t like medicine AND OXYCONTIN????? NG never mentioned this again to date, or questioned her further about having access to oxycontin. This show discussed the letter alleging that Haleigh overdosed on oxycontin. It seems to me that the fact Neves had access to oxycontin, and her comments about Haleigh and oxycontin would have been of interest to NG!!! I wonder was this a Freudian slip of Neves, (the above transcript) or did she misspeak??? Did family members give Haleigh oxycontin when she was overbearing, a typical five year old with a great deal of energy?? Was Misty tired after her three-day drug binge, and wanted Haleigh to pass out?? We know that Misty had difficulties with Haleigh through witness statements from one of Ron’s co-workers. So, since it can’t be denied that Ron and Misty had access to oxycontin from both sides of the family, it is plausible that Haleigh did die from an accidental overdose within her own home, or at a party!!!! The letter in question could be factual, and LE could be trailing the oxycontin theory!!!

Krisam, I believe that they all need to be looked at. I have talked to people that say those who abuse oxycontin now crush the pills into powder form and snort it like they would cocaine. If Haleigh saw the powder and dipped her finger into it and put it into her mouth thinking it may be candy( the powder candy DIP IT ) even though it tasted nasty it would make it hard for her to spit it out I imagine. We do not know who has done what to Haleigh, but I do believe it involves drugs and they all need to stop covering for each other and give Haleigh Justice. TN did not actually state that Haleigh did not like oxycontins. TN said Haleigh did not like medicine. Oxycontin paused and then stated it tasted nasty. I watched this show. I believe the answers lye with Misty and Ron and it more than likely involved certain family members of Misty. Whatever Happened to Haleigh more than likely Happened while Ron was at work, but he knows.IMO

IMO. The Croslin family is innocent… maybe not of all of the crimes that they have been arrested for but for the Haleigh Cummings Case. It is really sad that the men and women that are trained so much to deal with situations like this cant do their job and figure out where this little girl is! Instead they are more worried about harrising the Croslin Family. Leave misty alone and Find Haleigh!!!!!

I do not believe Teresa Neves would do anything to Haliegh.
I am sure LE would check everyones presciptions out, I believe she was talking past tense on her use of the drug.
She shows way too much emotion for some one who would be on oxy, it dulls pain and emotions. Like Crystal appearing zoned out and foggy. Also Misty everyone thought it was exhastion but thats a oxy drug haze she is in.
She is herself in the video at the airport because Donna Brock was keeping an eye on her. Look at the difference in her demeanor she is clear headed. jmo jmo

Krisam, it is not a crime to have a legitimate prescription of Oxycontin. Many people take this medication for a valid reason and do not abused it and become addicted. Ms Neves merely mentioned that she has had to take it (at some time) and that it tastes nasty. How would you know she has never had surgery that required pain control? It does not mean that she is now hooked and sneaks around and steals it to get a fix, for crying out loud! You just insulted all the people that take it for legitimate means. If LE felt it was necessary to check to see if she had a valid prescription, I’m sure they did so and I’m sure she cooperated.

My Opinion is Just Like EveryOne Who Got There Ways Of Opinion. Something Went Wrong With Haleigh But I Think Under The Influence Of Some Type Of Drugs.

IIRC, when Neves is saying this, it’s more of “..because Haleigh didn’t like medicine. And Oxycontin…I’ve had to take it. I think it’s a very nasty taste.”
I don’t think that Neves was ever saying that Haleigh had taken oxycontin. I think she was just saying that she doubts Haleigh would have eaten this or any kind of medicine because of the taste.

well i no longer think the N8Vs have her-she is gone, and this documentary was like watching Ron and Mistys Family Members on Tv.

this (medication) is monitored in Canada, nation wide database-its not rocket science, and its no mistake that the gov. lets this issue exist-its a billion dollar industry to become an addict/or/treatment run by this messed up Gov.

Why haven’t they had Cousin Tennessee Joe or Misty’s brothers on TV to give their story and “answer” our question like Ron, Teresa Neves & Crystal have ?
I’ve noticed Tennessee Joe goes out of his way to stay out of the limelight and ran pretty fast. He was gone the next day after little Haleigh turned up missing out of her own bed. I heard a story that he never even slept in his bed that night and still had the same clothes on. That the move was sudden. Is this true ? Does he have kids ? //////why in the heck did she have these people around the kids while Ron was at work ? I heard a story that while Haleigh was jumping on a trampoline Misty had Joe and a known pedophile there watching her jump and play. Doesn’t sound good, at all. Did this happen ? Law Enforcement should arrest her on those grounds right there. She knew better, she just didn’t care. I think Misty was very jealous of Haleigh and the love her Daddy and the rest of the family had for her. Poor little Junior has been through what no child should go through. He cant verbalize whats in his heart yet, other than he wants his sissy. The longer the people that have her wait, the harder its going to be on you. If you want mercy, you need to show some now. The eye of God follows you and you are in His hands now.
Have some guts and fess up to all you know….if you even know anything and keep it secret, then you are just as guilty. So do the right thing, and go to the Law. Its Christmas time, have a heart. Junior is bleeding inside.

I keep hearing oxycontin, oxycontin, oxycontin regarding the Croslin family. My curiosity is getting the best of me. What members of the Croslin family actually are prescribed oxycontin? Now that it has been revealed Mr. Croslin (father) has been doctor shopping, I’m sure that oxycontin
well has run dry.
Recently I had problems with a herniated disc. It was dreadful. I was sent to a series of specialists to evaluate me. EVERY doctor I saw offered oxycontin! I asked if there was on the Rx market without narcotics and was quickly told yes. For me, it worked. It knocked me out like a strong seditive.
Every doctor I saw told me the only solution was surgery. A few days later, I slipped and fell in the shower. After the shock wore off, I was able to I’ll myself up–without any back aches. I traded a herniated disc for a couple of big bruises. So much for the oxycontin!
Thankfully, I do not have addiction problems. I have great compassion for those who do. One with addiction issues will do just about anything to get their drug of choice. It is tragic.

art,don’t ya think it’s kinda odd it being christmas that le dosen’t give ron some kind of closure an dmisty be grilled under a hot light?// i believe misty // deleted// faked everything to make it look like the trailer was broken into before ron got home from work,i also believe she told jr to say a masked man came in and threatened him to go along,theres been no evidence of a break in on that door and i ma wondering if misty watched casey nathony os much she got ideas in her head?

Why Ron or Misty have not been charged with endangerment to a child is beyond me.Recently a black man, boyfriend/babysitter tried to use the same story-
He tried to say he Saw the back door was open no child in sight-dogs traced the child sent to the water-they have arrested this man within 24 hours with endangerment. im confused as to why misty was not charged with this, she has confessed to doing drugs prior to haleigh going missing, and haleigh went missing on her time.

but my point is, Florida has very liberal drug dispencing businesses- I can see why Misty whent back-shes a drug addicted child.

wow. I just rode through palatka the other day on the train on my way to south Florida, couldnt stop thinking and praying for Haleigh, but I definitly noticed how thick the woods are and how very difficult it would be to find her in all that brush. The area was extremely swampy too. I also though how easy the adductor could have hopped the train, they didn t even check my huge piece of luggage (duffle and regular suitcase) which makes me think someone could bring a child on the train and no one would ever even know, really freaked me out. I stepped off at the stop and prayed to God that he will help us find Haleigh.

You deserve it. You have an amazing group of people on here following your website.
Little Haleigh, her family and all of the people trying to help her, are in my thoughts every day.

I have to correct an above post regarding the prescribed uses for Oxycontin, for one it is NOT to be used for acute pain post surgery even though some physicians stupidly write it that way. It is meant for chronic pain patients. Yes cancer is a big one but it is FDA approved for all types of chronic pain. There are multiple types of pain disorders besides “fibromyalgia”. I for one have a pain condition called peripheral neuropathy, diabetics get it although I am not diabetic there are other causes. There are also things such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, MS, back injuries, and various other very painful conditions that Oxycontin is used for. Now, generally those conditions don’t need 80mg twice a day to control the pain but there is no ceiling dose and you do develop tolerance, which is not dependence or addiction. In fact they find that treating back injuries with pain medicines instead of surgery for a good amount of time results in the same level of positive outcome and is less expensive/invasive. I am in nursing school and was a pharm tech for 7 years so I’m not blowing smoke I have actually dealt with the addicts and the real patients who get a bad name because of the drug addicts. The rep told us they are trying to develop a tablet that is crush proof or will destroy the compound if crushed but it is in development stage as of yet. The doses range from 10-80mg and when used properly controls pain very well. A study done of cancer patients (don’t have the link sorry) using pain control as much as they needed to control the pain (study participants 25,000) only 3 became addicts. The risk is when you don’t control the pain properly and people take more than they are supposed to in attempts to control the pain, then they get that happy feeling and like it so it gradually develops into a habit. Oxycontin is not the enemy, the people misusing Oxycontin are the ones who ruin it for everyone else who does truly need it. Also the coating of the tablet hides the taste that may be in the powder so if she knows the powder tastes bad, she crushed the tablet. Yes, I know I’m not talking about Haleigh but I just had to clear that up because that was just not an accurate statement, although I can understand why you think that.
