Misty Croslin Brother, Tommy, Out of Jail

The brother of Haleigh Cummings ex stepmom, Misty, bonded out of the Putnam County Jail Friday afternoon after his father, Hank, Sr., signed papers with Palatka’s A-1 Bail Bonds guaranteeing Tommy would be in court on his domestic battery charge. A Putnam County judge set the bond at $500, for allegedly fighting with his father.
The Bald Truth has learned that child protective services has opened a case against Haleigh’s former step-uncle, Tommy, after he was found asleep at the wheel of a parked car near the school bus stop where he lets his son, Austin, board the bus — the same bus he once road with little Haleigh. Police also found prescription drugs in the car that Tommy claimed belonged to his father, who denied they were his, we’ve reported.
After Tommy agreed to seek counseling, he was allowed to be with his children, sources tell me, but it’s uncertain how the latest incident will play with child welfare workers in Putnam County. Family tell me he’s trying to patch things back up.

Well if Ronald Cummings can keep JR after all he’s done, I don’t see the child welfare workers taking Tommie’s kids away from him. Ron got away with putting a gun in his mouth and threatening to kill himself and others, right in front of JR. Not to mention he is liable in many ways for setting the senario that led to Haleigh being missing and posibily dead. I don’t have much faith that DCF will do the right thing by these kids. They certainly failed Haleigh and JR.

Tommy Is Was Arrested Due Being Pass Out In The Van Police Found Prescription Drug And A Straw Residue Powder. He Aboard His Son At The Bus Stop The Same Bus Haleigh Aboard Its Really Sad. Than The Police Found What They Found .Sounds Like Tommy Is Running In To Trouble More And More Whats Troubley Him Called Tommy He Have Been Arrested Before Could It Be His Mind Is Getting The Best Of Him And Is Why He Is Getting In To Trouble.

Whew. That was close! Now the Croslin family can have the Normand Rockwell Thanksgiving gathering.
I only wish the Putnam County Law Enforcement staff would be able to enjoy their Thanksgiving Days. It is my understanding they will be installing a revolving door and greasing it up for the next Croslin familiy crisis.

The counseling was not enough in my opinion. He really needs rehab. They need to be drug testing him randomly. This is really sad. Haleigh is missing. The focus needs to be on her. However, all the key players keep on with foolish actions keeping the spotlight on themselves. Every single one of them should be ashamed. They need to utilize their 15 minutes in keeping the message to find Haleigh alive. Does not seem that anyone cares about her anymore. They do not seem to care about their own children. As long as they get their fix, nothing else matters. I have tried to be non-judgemental. With this going on constant one can not help but to make an opinion. I am disgusted with the actions of this family. The father stated he does not believe Misty is being honest. However, when she is in his good graces his opinion changed. Then when Tommy was arrested he went to the police station to say Tommy stole his prescription. Even after that he allowed Tommy back in his house. Then had him arrested only to bond him out. This family is insane. I have characters in my family too. However, they are not at the center of an investigation of a missing child. Even my characters would be doing everything to find the child. This is just outrageous. Also, this says something about Florida’s CPS/DFS. Tommy had to have counseling to see his children. What one visit and everything’s ok? It has been all of 2-3 wks if that since his bus stop incident. His son says Tommy is scaring him and wants it to stop. The is ludacris. They need to do more than one counseling session. For the sake of everyone I hope this family can somehow come out of the gutter.

If DCS,doesnt remove this child,an something happens to him.Then they all,who are involved in the investagation,should be fired,an charges of negulance,be brought aganst them.Im tired of the excuse,we checked people out,but were undrestaffed.Tell mother of child,if she wants to keep her son,she must take him an move.Tommy,should have to go in mandatory Rehab,starting NOW!! From the conduct of this man is awful,whose to say he wasnt stone out of his head.Misty was asleep.He woke Haliegh,or Ron jr.They let him in front door,he staged site,halled Butt out of county,an did something to her.She sure hasnt been found in Putnum co.Tommy seems to be violent,an troubled.Misty seems scared of him….(deleted) .Hmmmmm makes one think.GET THAT CHILD OUT OF THAT HOUSE-AN FROM AROUND TOMMY, AN THAT FAMILY BEFORE PUTNUM CO. Jan- truly that is what I believe. I believe he is the man responsible. There are many reasons. I am not one to just accuse someone of a crime without proof or supporting facts. He had access to the van. Lindsey had said Chelsea thought the van had been moved. He is the last person known to have been on the property that night, other than occupants. (he had also been there earlier that day giving him access to unlock the back door) Misty in a statement to press talked about washing Haleighs blanket. She said “Her blanket and my blanket, my blanket was in the van they took.” Then she went on to tell the story. Their family was real quick to point the finger at the cousin. Why would they do that? Motive on the other hand is more difficult. I can list a few that I think are plausible. 1. Misty convinced someone she lost her baby, so they took Ronalds.
2. Someone paid him to do this.
3. Something happened to Haleigh and they freaked out. Did not know what to do.
Really what needs to happen is EVERY person from all sides needs a lie detector. Without that it is my belief this will never be resolved.

OOOOoooooOOOO What a better way for Misty And Ronald to slip out the back door With Jr, VIA of Keeping things on going, and the focus else where, Not to notice that their gone or Going. Mark my words!!! there is more doors to exit an area, than meets the eye, One day every ones going to wake up to find them gone, and should he get caught he’ll make an excuse that he couldn’t no longer live in Florida, Just like he couldn’t live in that Trailer, the last known place where Haleigh was noted to be, If I had been a parent, and Something happened to My Child, You couldn’t Under No Circumstances, get me to leave, Should she OR he find his or her way home, I’d Want to be there, upon their return. { THEY NO MORE THAN WHAT THEIR SAYING } RON AND MISTY….. MY Gut Feeling is …..friends were left to cover up what had happened, while Ronald was at work, and thus is why he stated on the 911 call, {Why did you let them take her , why did you let them move her} It was pre planned as to where authorities would find her, but some one else had other thoughts,and plans, against Ronald’s orders, and messed it all up, he probably don’t know NOW where she is, But he Shure does know what Happened! – Mark my words!!!!!

My question is this…Where do these families get the money to pay for all the prescription drugs they consume like candy? My sister and brother in law can barely afford their blood pressure medication, and yet, the Croslins have no problem picking up anti-depressant prescriptions, and medications for pain. They all smoke and drink and these are very expensive habits. If this is ADC money or disability payments, perhaps Social Services and Social Security should take a closer look. These people are dirt poor, but they eat out, smoke, drink, have gas for the car, what’s up with this?
I hope no one forgets the little children who live with these people.

From the way things are in this family, look for little Austin to be doing much the same in about 10 years. From Lisa and Hank to Misty and Tommie, the legacy just keeps on being passed down from generation to generation.
No ethics, education, motivation, or integrity are attached to this bunch. The sad conclusion is that Haleigh is no longer with us and someone has gotten away with murder. I say this because even if some new information came to light, would anyone really consider a drug induced addict to tell the truth? A defense attorney would pounce all over those statements.
I have a feeling we may never know the truth. Someone dropped the ball from the beginning and this circus went into full mode. Almost a year since her disappearance and nothing.

Tommy needs to go into Rehab. If he knows anything about Haleigh he needs to be honest on her whereabouts as does Misty. Ron has done much worse and nothing happened there. I hope DCF will wake up and make better decisions than they have done in the past.
I still believe the answers to Haleighs disappearance lyes in Satsuma and I want LE to find Haleigh or put the person/persons behind bars who has brought her harm. I believe LE knows who is behind this. It is time to hear from LE on what they are doing!! BRING JUSTICE FOR HALEIGH!!!

I agree with Jan57. Tommy and Joe had some kind of vendetta against Ron.. whose to say it is over.. whose to say Tommy didnt lure Haleigh outside to the van with cousin Joe.
Joe said he’d get back at Ron.. taking Ron’s most precious thing.. His child.

Unfortunately the family dynamics within that bunch is very sad. However they are getting hounded by LE pretty hard, I believe the arrests are being used as an investigative tool, why wont they arrest misty and keep her in jail until she starts squaking??? I believe the pressure in jail would get to her.
ART I HAVE A QUESTION: What is the deal with that step father who took off for Kentucky the same week Haleigh disappeared? The one who was never investigated and supposedly used to work with LE or something like that??? What was the story with him did you ever find out??? Im very curious and cannot find too much about it on the internet.

IMO Every one is an individual first and foremost. Every adult is responsible for their own actions. People can be there own person and not do what their family does. Hank SR is part of the problem not the solution. By being guarantee on the bond he is enabling his sons very obvious addiction. Someone in this family needs to call Intervention. This is classic stuff that goes on when there is an addict in a family. I gave thought to these opinions of Crystal and being involved in Haleigh’s kidnapping. I really don’t think so her lack of involvement and eager desire to blame that else where I think served as a distraction, but that is all. What about this A/C Man was is his alibi. In an interview Misty said he was left alone in the house. I know a person can slide the lock a bit out of place and move the window just a bit and it look closed and locked. Then after from the outside simply slide it open jump in and it slides back into lock position. My friends son was doing it until she caught him. In the beginning I watched an interview and the person struck me like a bat to the stomach I only get that when it is not a good person in fact my friends rely on me for it, it just happens when I enter a room or area and a not good is there, can’t quite explain it. However it wasn’t any of these people, everyone has a theory I think the Police need to start over and do more media releases, not Misty’s releases though. This with this man and his children will end sadly if there is not an intervention, however that is on the Mother. The other parent can’t be involved it’s that simple and yes it will be hard, yes it is unfair, fair or not it is as it is, get busy doing right and cry later.Out the door he goes!!! Simple

If Haleigh is still alive, im thinking her other side of the family may have her-If Crytal is Native American, she may have ties to a Band and that Band has diffrent Laws when it comes to the rest of America. Her medical and education could be payed for & she could be just another NUMBER and hiding out on Tribal Lands-Indian Affairs would never know b/c were nothing but a number to them, and can most likely get Band Medical care Unnoticed.Enrolled in a native school which is on a diffrent computer system then the ones OFF RESEARVE
I am from a Band, but from Canada, our Band even has a MEDIA BAN, meaning you need special Cheif and Council Permission to even go ON OUR TIBAL lands, even the provincial police (I’am from Canada Ont.) need special permission-so there is a LOOP HOLE for fugative types hidding out on Crown Land(reservations)
mabe Hayleigh is being taken care of, out of site, alive and well as some have stated, with distant relatives….lolz…..on Native Land……it may sound like a damn story-but it is possible to me b/c mabe i’m in denial and wish her to be live and well.
If Crystal is Native American (even half), she could have reltives on a reservation anywhere in North America

I have serious questions about this entire family. What if Tommy took Haleigh and sold her for drug money? What if he only puts himself at the house because he was there and was afraid someone else would put him there. When RC called him and told him Misty was not home, maybe he went to get that gun or steal something with or without this cousin and Haleigh saw them. Seems to me Tommy fears Ron. Misty seems afraid of everyone but I do trust her either. I just do not see why they do not polygraph Tommy. I have heard him offer to take a polygraph on the news. Why not take him up on that? Just someones reaction to being asked to take a poly can tell law enforcement so much. Why not ask the entire family both Croslin, Cummings and Sheffield to take a poly.
See what they all say? Hope they have done this. Not looking good for little Haleigh. Thanks Art for keeping her story Alive. I can’t imagine why Ron Cumming’s does not give you an exlusive just to keep his baby in the news. Get her back in tne news. Maybe he has given up. The mom also. Both have shut up big time. Maybe nobody wants them on? You would right Art?

I wouldn’t doubt that Ron is an informant, due to the drastic reduction, or dropped charges, to his MANY VIOLATIONS.. It seems very odd that so many of the other players in this keep going in and out of jail with petty charges and extremly high bonds, yet Ron and Misty are out of the reach of police….. Misty friends say they were at the apartments to get drugs when jumped..the road rage incident..failing polygraghs… Then Ron, witnesses stating he placed a gun in his mouth in front of his son, domestic violence on more than one occasion.. and a LONG RAP SHEET.. yet they are untouchable..!!!! Are the police waiting till they can legally declare Haleigh dead before they make a move..If they are informants, then they have every reason to be scared..and if it came to the cost of Haleigh… THEN I HOPE THEY ALL GET WHAT THEY DESERVE.!!!!

I’m just disgusted by everything. Everyone on both sides of the families, are in my opinion…enablers. They cover for each other. They lie, they hide the truth, they conceal what they have to in order to protect themselves. Not one of them and that includes R.C. and his mother have told LE the complete truth. Everyone involved, except the children, are either doing drugs, allowing drugs in their homes,or enabling spouses to continue their drug habit. In spite of all the sympathy and well wishes from the public, this gang of drug addicts and thieves and miscreants will continue to do what it is they do best. They don’t care about each other, humanity, or small childen who are helpless while they rage and threaten and steal.
Maybe this is just tip of the iceberg, and hopefully, LE is leaning on all of them. I hope so, and I hope many arrest warrants are waiting to be signed. Because these families do not care, not about anything or anyone.

Art: Thanks for keeping up with this unbelievably SAD family(s) sagas. It is a wonder ANY of their kids survive! What an eye-opening experience on these “trailer park” type people. The money they all seem to spend on cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, etc is only funded by what they take from their kids’ upbringing.
If they’d stop all that and put their energies into working full time jobs and spending time and money on JUST their families — what a difference it would make in the lives of their children. (And their own).
Abuse begets abuse and poverty lingers on without the hard work required to make a better life for your loved ones. At this point, it hardly matters WHO did what to whom — they are all guilty of complacence if not downright malfeasance toward their responsibilities as parents (and grandparents).
