Iam so glad to see Ron Distancing himself from Misty! After all he and Crystal are Haleigh”s parents and need to make a united plea for their Daughter! As long as he supports Misty and her decietful haughty attitude he makes himself and family look Stupid and nieve.If Misty had nothing to hide she would tell ALL she knows and stop this sick game of hers. Everyone says she is a kid,I say she ran with the Big Dogs now that she has got in big trouble she wants to whine like a puppy! Ron hold her feet to the fire!!

Right when Ronald could not get ahold of Misty that night after calling 20 times one would have thought he would have called his Grandmother to go over to check on the kids if he couldn’t have gotten off hisself, Then when he did get off he would have went right home not stopping for nothing to have seen for his self every thing was alright. And jump in the middle of her shit for not answering his calls. She should have told him I am not fussing with you no more tonight I am tired and I am going to bed now so please do not call back I’ll talk to you in the morning. Good Night! But instead she went about it all wrong. But I guess when a girl is doing something she isn’t suppose to be then turning the cell phone off is the best thing to do. Thats what my 17 year old does anyway. It is all about Them!! and what they Want it doesn’t matter who they hurt or who they have to go threw to get what they want as long as they get what ever it may be they are wanting. Teenagers now days are masters at playing the game of deicete. I know this game well fore I have one of these 17 year olds. I am sorry to say..Love Her but she is a mess and has dealt alot of greif. Just Thank God she isn’t on no drugs like so many. Misty is smart so people just because she 17 don’t let that fool you, they are smarter then you think they are. They are Masters!! Yes they are young,innocentlooking, you may think not so smart, well that’s where you just screwed up. Because they use all that agaisnt us and they will win. That sweat innocent voice, innocent face with tears running down the cheeks and those sweat little puppy dog eyes looking at you making you think Oh this child could not have done this or that and all the time she is laughing her ass off at you on the inside. Nope I don’t trust these 17 yr old kids now days. They all have a motive and it is called THEMSELVES!

I feel very sorry for Misty. She had a very troubled childhood, and is a victim of her raising.
She is only 17, just a kid. I dont understand why everyone wants her locked up. There have been lots of crimes where responsible adults were sleeping and there child was abducted from their bed.Why are you all so certain it did not happen in this crime???????

I am bothered by a couple of things, mostly the fact that Ron and his mom seem so protective of Misty! And I really hate how NG coddles both of them and seems to spit in the face of Haleigh’s mother, Crystal. The one thing that really bugs me is that interview on the Today show with MV. When she asks Misty why she told conflicting stories, she hesitates, almost looks at Ron for guidance with her answer, then says “I don’t know”.

I know this, if I was at work and my sitter wasn’t picking up the phone all night long, I wouldn’t have stopped for anything and would have left early after one or two calls to find out what was up….

There are so many things that just don’t make sense, many have already been pointed out.

Thanks Art for all you are doing to help find this precious child!

RON IS NOT INVOLVED! I THINK MISTY WAS ON BARS OR SOMETHING AND HAS NOO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED THEY TOTALLY ERASE YOUR MEMORY! THATS noooo EXCUSE ITS DISGUSTING SHE NEEDS TO COME CLEAN AND AT LEAST ADMIT SHE WAS MEDICATED AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED!
I CANT BELIEVE RON WOULD STILL ALLOW HER TO STAY AROUND BUT DIDNT HE ONCE SAY HE KEEPS HIS FRIENDS CLOSE AND HIS ENEMIES CLOSER MAYBE HE IS WORKING AGAINST HER AND WE JUST DONT KNOW ABOUT IT?

Did Misty have a car or van? Was this in the driveway when Misty’s brother came over and knocked on the door? Also why couldn’t they tell by the pings of her cell phone if she was home or away, and what time she turned off her phone.If she turned it off after the time her brother came by-she wasn’t sleeping.
