The Bald Truth has learned exclusive new details in the Haleigh Cummings mystery, from a father’s bloody hands, to an updated timeline—that sources close to the case say may help law enforcement flesh out conflicting stories in the baffling disappearance of the missing five year old. Little Haleigh was reported missing more than four months ago by then babysitter Misty Croslin who married her father, Ronald, a month later.
While law enforcement agencies met last week to go over what they do know and what they don’t about the circumstances, Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy said some evidence had yet to be analyzed, and would be soon, and felt confident the case would be solved.
But we can report exclusively one minor mystery has been solved–why Ronald Cummings right fist appeared to be badly bruised after his daughter was reported missing at 3:27 am, Feb. 10. On the 911 tape, he sounds angry at Misty, and police tell me he was so upset his daughter was gone, he reared back and slammed his fist into a door.
“He was upset when he got home, and when he got angry, he punched a door and busted up his knuckles,” said Lt. Johnny Greenwood, spokesman for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department in an exclusive interview with The Bald Truth, aka artharris.com.
Sources tell The Bald Truth that investigators saw Ron bleeding when they arrived that night, and immediately swabbed his hand (along with several other people who gave permission) for possible DNA to confirm his account, and state of mind.
In fact, Cummings pointed out the exact spot on the back door he’d hit hard enough to leave a hand print. As part of a thorough forensic exam of the trailer, police took blood samples from the door that matched blood from his wound, sources tell me, and ruled his account plausible and believable.
But cracking the Haleigh mystery remains far more difficult than cracking knuckles, and sources tell The Bald Truth, a major focus has been anyone with ties to the families, or who may have been watching, or had access to Cummings’ trailer that night.
Police say investigators have spoken with Misty Cummings more than 10 times, along with members of both families, including mother Crystal Sheffield, who is engaged in a bitter custody dispute over Haleigh and little brother Ronald, Jr. Investigators have been trying to schedule more meetings with Ronald and his lawyers, but had not when we last spoke earlier this week.
No one has been accused, or named as a suspect, or person of interest. But in a desperate quest to find answers, investigators are attempting to plug inconsistencies in what they call Misty’s conflicting timeline—and where she may have been that night. She claims she was at the trailer, never left and was not sleeping so heavily from being under the influence of anything illegal that would have kept her from hearing an intruder.
But The Bald Truth has learned Misty’s wild partying we’ve reported – and law enforcement police sources confirm — in the days leading up to the lost little girl raise questions about her state of mind that night – and fuel some investigators’s theories that a possible drug craving may have lead her to search for more drugs the night Haleigh vanished.
Let’s go back.
We’ve reported extensively and exclusively on the wild party weekend that witnesses and friends have told us began as early as the previous Wednesday, when 17 year old Misty told fellow party girl “Nay Nay” (Christina Prevatt, 18) she’d had a fight with Ronald after suggesting she might be pregnant.
To hear the story Nay Nay has told us on camera, she drove Misty to meet a local named Greg Page, aka White Boy Greg, and the trio were off for several days and nights partying with cocaine, a painkiller called “Roxies,” pot, and alcohol. By early Sunday, as Nay Nay, and Page tell me, they were partied out, and Nay Nay dropped Misty at her parents, though Prevatt says she was speaking with Cummings earlier and it sounded like a reconciliation was in the works.
Whether she wound up back at the trailer Sunday night is not known, but a parent in the carpool line Monday afternoon has told police –and The Bald Truth in an exclusive interview, that she overheard Misty griping at the wheel of the family’s blue van as she waited for Haleigh to get off the school bus, about the “bad shit” they’d bought from someone the night before (Sunday), and would never buy anything from that dealer again.
The parent who was also waiting for her children to get off the bus and asked to go nameless, told me it sounded like Misty was talking to her companions in the car about drugs they’d used the night before (Sunday). “I was pulled up right next to her window and could hear it clearly,” the woman told me, saying it was the same account she gave investigators.
But what she says she saw next truly shocked her. Haleigh emerged from the bus, all smiles, and began running to the van, where Misty was trying to control two little boys, possibly Ronald Jr and Haleigh’s cousin who is the son of her brother and sister in law, Lisa. She says she heard an obviously irritated Misty scream for Haleigh to hurry up, then slap one of the boys.
Stunned she says she turned to boyfriend, Jerry Santos, a local businessman and little league coach, who was there to pick up their children. He didn’t see the alleged slapping, he tells me, but did see Misty behind the wheel, and Haleigh get off the bus and climb in with her.
Both Ronald Cummings and his mother, Teresa Neves, have claimed separately they picked up Haleigh that last Monday afternoon, but at least three parents tell me they only saw Misty at the bus stop. But Santos tells me, “Misty was definitely driving,” that he never saw either father or grandmother at the bus stop.
Neither Neves, nor Cummings returned our calls for comment today, and his grandmother, Annette Sykes, accused The Bald Truth of being very unfair to Ronald and her family in its coverage of her missing great granddaughter and said, “You know all you need to know,” before slamming down the phone and ordering us not to call again. Nor did Cummings attorney Greg Kimball, return our calls. He’s been speaking via press releases.
Why was Misty so irritable that day at the bus stop, investigators are trying to understand, with some theorizing it could be because she might have been jonesing from partying Sunday night, and by Monday afternoon, had grown edgy, possibly from a rebound effect, and griping about the quality of party favors.
And what might that have had to do with Ron Cummings driving like a bat out of hell Monday morning as he took Haleigh to her last day of school, then went to work, where police confirm he was until he left to go home and find his daughter gone?
Several parents tell me they saw Ronald driving so fast he nearly clipped a group of parents and children standing near the bus stop, then sped off.
According what private investigator William Staubs says sources told him – and mine confirm – Ronald was up all Sunday night waiting for Misty to come home. The sources say she never did, and he finally fell asleep—and overslept. Then had to rush and race to get Haleigh to school, and presumably try to find Misty before he went to work Monday afternoon at PDM Bridge Company, where sources say co workers and cell phone records confirm he was until quitting time.
When she finally came in Monday morning, she slept at her father’s house” nearby, Staubs tells me in an exclusive interview.
Whatever happened that Sunday night, Misty was back driving the carpool Monday afternoon, and at the Ron’s trailer after that. But did she leave again Monday night, possibly to score and ward off the bad mood earlier witnessed in the carpool line? She says not, that she was home with the kids all night Monday, and so far, no one has come forward to say otherwise, sources tell me.

I just know the reason for this child missing has to do with drugs. I don’t know if it is some type of retribution or what. I just feel it in my gutt.
If someone was watching that trailer and Misty did slip out to find more drugs to take the edge off, why did they take Haleigh and not Jr.? My theory on that is, a 5 year old will listen a lot better than a younger child.
If Misty hit a child that day at the bus stop, then she has hit children before. Perhaps this is how she saw Ron punish them, according to him, “within the guidelines of DCF”
This is all such a mess. We need to bring this child home.

I initially believed in Ronald, mainly because I thought he sounded genuine on the 911 call. He sounded like my same age nephew and his GF. Not my cup o’ tea, but thought the anger was real.
The marriage makes me think that he helped Misty cover up the murder – and should fry next to her.

Ok Again: Scenario here’ Misty was gone, for what ever her reason!Ronald gets mad! Misty Finally returnes back home with Ronald, How did she get back home! Did Ron Pick her up? or did she come crawling back? – Was Ron home when she got in? – And If she was asleep upon his arrival that morning after taking Haleigh to School or her drop off point, Was Ron Jr. With him upon taking her to School? if not where was he? – Now my Guess is this, Misty came back, went to sleep – which if she was sleeping at her parents home Why did she go back to sleep at Ron’s? – if she was asleep! and I think I saw someplace that he went and had a confrontation with a wood cutter that day! Was Misty there with him, or did he let her sleep!Than upon his arrival home! because he already had a bad temperament due to Misty’s Weekend and Maybe not having his way with the wood cutters, did he pick a fight with misty, after she picked up Haleigh, before he headed off to work, Haleigh gets in the way and Bam! He hits Haleigh, and she dies! they had to make up a quick story, Misty hid the body, In the Dumpster, She called Ron at work, and told him where, and her and Or One of her friends Helped her Remover her body, And done away with it else where’s. And That’s why Ron Yelled at Misty – Why did you let them Take Her!!! { I feel his Momma Knows all about it, that’s why she wears that Fake smile I catch her wearing.} Maybe they put her in quick Quick Drying cement, In the River, and than when Ron comes home he can play out the rest of the story, of hitting Doors and what ever to hide, all ready bunged up knuckles, so everyone can think he done it hitting what ever out of anguish! While Misty’s Co-Partners in crime dumps the body, has time to get out of town to do it before the police was called. You Do Know, That some people can be real good actors! And my Guess is that Ronnie Boy was in the Habit of Acting most of his life and Mommy swallowed it all up to his own temperamental discussing actions!that’s why he’s been in and out of trouble with the courts, Which I think His Mommy helped him get out of!

Oh, so it does make sense now. Even though Haleigh wasn’t late for school yet he was rushing to get her to school so he could go and search for misty. My question is where was jr? Because I haven’t seen any articles that report anyone seeing him that morning and surely ron knew better than to leave him home by himself didn’t he? Art, Great ARTicle! Five stars. As for great grandma sykes, I guess she just don’t realize you aren’t snooping for more info, you were only offering her and her family a chance to defend themselves here on your site. Well good for you for offering and trying to keep your coverage fair, and too bad for her that she didn’t take the opportunity to defend her family and put out a plea for her grand daughter.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why it is so hard to get the truth out of the Cummings camp..Ron says on video he picked up Halleigh at the bus stop. “She ran to me, was loving on me, told me she loved me”..yet, Neves says SHE picked her up..I think another person claimed to have picked her up too…The lies have progressed, leaving LE confused. LE should find a reason to lock up Misty, and Ron.. I feel sure they haven’t stopped doing drugs..It seems it would be easy to catch them doing something illegal..Satsuma is a small town, and people talk..Keep them in jail until the truth comes out of these lying people…IMO they are the ones hindering this case. Neves and the Great G’Ma are enablers, and will lie to keep them out of jail..IMO I am wondering if the fight with Misty escalated into Haleigh being an innocent bystander, or worse, the day Misty returned to Ron’s house…There is almost nothing we know about the day/afternoon prior to the early morning hours that’s claimed Halleigh went missing…The timeline is a big question for me…All in my humble opinion, of course…

Good grief–You are absolutely right, and we’ve been quoting the transcript.
We owe Teresa Neves an apology for saying she claimed she picked up Haleigh from the bus stop, when what she actually says on the tape is that her son picked Haleigh up.
Ron has also claimed he picked her up and let her drive home on his lap.
Not so, according to neighbors and parents who were AT the bus stop that Monday afternoon and have told police it was Misty behind the wheel of the family’s blue van, not Ronald who picked Haleigh up.
So the question remains, does Ron’s Mom believe Ron or the neighbors who say they SAW Misty behind the wheel? And if they are telling the truth, why would Ron and his Mom insist Ron was the one?
We report in this story that he was up all night, then fell asleep in the wee hours waiting for Misty to come home Sunday night, but she never did, sources tell Cobra and me.
Then he falls asleep and is frantic to get Haleigh up and to school on time, thus speeding by the bus stop and, according to parents there, nearly hitting them and students.
That’s what one parent told police, and others confirm.

I have to agree with the great grandma about being unfair to Ron and Misty. The things they did or did not do days before Haleigh went missing should not be discussed in the media. What is reported is always bad things that happened before that night. This automatically makes people think Ron or Misty did something wrong. Why not go back farther to a mother that will not go to court to get custody but when there is money to be made she is right their with her attorney on every t v show that would let them on.
I watched JVM and she sure was putting Ron and Misty down as she always does.

3.No one has been ruled out

I’m totally open to talking with anyone in the Cummings family and printing their comments here, verbatum…They know the door is open, same goes for their attorney. Many lawyers in high profile cases understand the importance to publically defending their clients, that there are two places battle are fought–in the living rooms and the courtrooms. His client has not been charged with anything, nor named as a person of interest, though police feel whoever took Haleigh is someone close to the families, or knew them.
Still, he may feel it unwise or unseemly to add to the public debate and serve up something that might be contradicted later, especially when his client’s wife has told conflicting stories and offered timelines police are trying to reconcile, even though she’s not been named a suspect or person of interest. either. Others would say Ron’s lawyer has an obligation to take up for his client in any venue where he’s being attacked or discussed in the digital age of 24/7 media, where a future jury pool is watching and listening, and one day will have to swear they can set aside any pre conceived ideas formed by what they saw or heard in the media and fairly consider the case of whoever is arrested and charged.

I have a few questions about this interesting article.

How would either your sources or Cobra’s sources know Ron’s sleeping habits? This is particularly interesting since you both appear to have different sources given the wording of your writing in that paragraph. Were your sources in the home with Ron waiting up with him for Misty? Were they peeking in the window all night? I find these “witness” accounts odd, to say the least. Then again, I find a lot in this case odd, sadly.
Another thing I find interesting is that on the March 3rd showing of the Mike Gelano on HLN, Captain Schauland verified that Ron picked up HaLeigh at the bus stop – not Misty. No idea where all these new witnesses are coming from.
Do you know if this woman – the girlfriend of Jerry Santos – reported Misty slapping a child? If not, she should be ashamed of herself!
I have seen and heard so many things in this case that make me so sad for poor HaLeigh. It’s like she has been forgotten in this circus. Those of us who want to discuss her have a hard time doing so amongst all the arguing of “sides”.
I just want to say thank you to those people out there that genuinely care for this precious baby! We haven’t all forgotten HaLeigh in this circus!

Art, Ron’s attorney has an obligation to represent his client, he has no obligation the do that in the press. The courtroom is the venue for his work. No where else.
If Misty is responsible for the child’s disappearance, how in the world has she duped the police and FBI?
For someone so young and allegedly strung out on drugs she sure has managed to keep them at bay, either she is a criminal master mind or LE is incompetent.
This GOSSIP does nothing to advance the investigation, but it sure seems to have advanced some careers.

Thank you for all your hard work on this case. My fear is that this case is being put on the back burner by authorities. They haven’t reviewed everything yet a child’s life is at stake here. Also what have Ron and Misty been doing recently “business as usual”? We all know that Haleighs fate revolves around Ron and Misty. I hope the authorities start putting pressure on Ron and Misty.

I saw a news clip where Teresa Neves says SHE picked up Haleigh… NOT on NG. But at any rate, she’s lying if these witnesses said they saw Misty picking her up. Too many different versions of too many stories. Why does this family have to lie so much? Why can’t they tell the truth.
Wonder if Ron hits anything besides doors and cars? A former neighbor says he hit the side of his car that night!

Lawyered or not, Ronald Cummings has an absolute obligation to meet with LE and clear these discrepancies Misty Croslin/Cummings has presented. As do the rest of the family. Don’t they want this little girl home, or justice for the one who took her?

If I understand correctly, Ron drove by the bus stop while parents and children were waiting for the bus.
Has it been verified that Haleigh was in the car? If so, wouldn’t it have been easier for him to drop her off, and let her ride the bus.

Even if you did, we’d take it a step further, in digging deeper into what happened to Haleigh. If she was still out there, alive, like some say, then why can’t the public get more clues? We cant sit on this. How can the Cummings not wan”t closure?
None of us know what their lives was really like 24/7. Everyones got skeletons, so what. Maybe some honesty & clear sincere answers would “help find Haleigh”. It’s about time they all stop hiding and living…..they arent doin Haleigh no good acting all bad and angry. Or is it an act? Who knows, but one thing for sure Art…..Ron was not at work from the time frame of dropping her off at school and then going to work and getting home at 3:27 a.m.{ his shift was an 18 hour shift. So I may have read that part wrong.
So why the misinformation about the amount of work hours that day? When are we going to get the info on what his “actual” hours were?

Is there a remote possibility that both Misty and Ronald showed up at the bus stop to pick up Haleigh, each not knowing that the other was going to do so? If Misty was at her father’s house sleeping, perhaps Ron was not sure if she was going to show up so he went there to pick her up, and when Misty woke up, perhaps she was just doing what she normally does and hurried herself over to the bus stop. Just a thought?? If so, perhaps then Misty was seen, but does anyone know or can it be confirmed who Haleigh actually got in the car with? OR perhaps she did go to Misty, but then Ron showed up and she got out and went with him and by that time the neighbors were gone? Just a thought on how this could all come together without it being a planned lie of sorts? Just a theory!

Art, you don’t owe Neves an apology…In the transcript of 2-17-09, Nancy Grace show, that Goodgrief linked above, Neves states to N.G., when Nancy asked her if she knew for a fact Haleigh got off the bus on the eve she disappeared, Neves tells her,”yes ma’m, I picked her up”…So whom are we to believe? Unless the truth comes out, we won’t know..

I also wonder how Cobra knows Ron fell asleep. That is funny. Carpool? What families were in the Carpool. That should be pretty easy to confirm if it was a car pool. I love how you say Santo’s girlfriend does not wish to be named, then you name her. LOL. Seems like Santo’s and his girlfriend have so much to say. I wonder did they report all this before Haleigh went missing? This slap and other reports this Santo’s keeps giving about abuse? How close does he live to Haleigh? Could he have been watching this family? He sure seems to know about his neighbors. I would really check him out. Why is he so involved in what Mr. Cummings and Misty are doing? If it was out of concern I would think he would have reported this when it happened.
This guy is suspect to me. He may just want some media attention but he seems to know quite a bit about little Haleigh and her family.

Art: I believe I heard on HLN that Misty did not have a drivers license, or that she was about to get one after their marriage. Could this be the cause of the confusion of who picked up Haleigh? Something worth looking into. Afterall, why not drive without a license, it is certainly less serious then doing drugs, right? NOT!!
In my opinion they all have a complete disregard for the laws.

Just thinking……if someone other than a parent picks a child up from school where I live, the teacher must verify that person is on the okay to pick up my child list provided by the childs parent. Such as I picked up my Grandson at daycare and my Daughter Okayed this with the daycare provider. Do they ahere to this procedure at Haleigh’s school? And really this fact of who actually picked her up that day doesn’t really tell us who abducted her from her home in the wee hours of morning. It justs confirms honesty on the part of Ron and Misty. For the arm chair detectives, instead of maybe this is the scenerio, how about only sharing information you know for certain is factual, so as not to blame an innocent person. I for one really think that Ronald loves his little girl as does Grandma Theresa. And if you saw the video above, did you also notice the shaking Haleigh’s Mom was doing? They all love Haleigh and that scene where Crystal touched Ron was so loving, now look where they’re at………backstabing eachother. Please, please deal with the facts, this has ripped these families so much, they don’t need more speculation, they need compassion and honesty and those things shall find little Haleigh.

He’s a credible member of the community, a father of three and walks his kids to the bus daily. He did not seek me out; I tracked him down. Why would he report this sort of thing before Haleigh went missing? Ron’s speeding was that Monday morning, then she’s gone. The parents, and sources close to the case confirm LE and DCF investigators have interviewed him and other parents I spoke with, and find their eye witness accounts from that Monday credible.

Dee–No one actually saw Haleigh through his tinted windows, but it was confirmed he did take her to school that morning, and later, according to Santos, explained why he was in such a hurry. At first, according to Santos, Ron said he was distraught and looking for Haleigh. But when Jerry reminded him this was BEFORE Haleigh went missing, he said Haleigh had spilled something and he was in a rush to get her to school on time. This was in front of his parents, when Ron dropped by the house to request his father, a DCF investigator intercede for him with Geraldo, tell him what a good guy he was. It was a totally inappropriate attempt to speak with the caseworker, he was told…But for anyone to think that an official charged with child welfare could or would high five Geraldo on behalf of a parent he’s investigated — and cleared — is almost delusional.

Janet–Good memory. That’s what Nay Nay remembers, but at the same time she was talking to Ron on the phone and making plans for a reconciliation. According to Nay Nay, Misty said Ron requested she bring condoms when she came over later and asked Nay Nay if she had any. She said she didn’t.

While LE is not ruling anyone out, sources tell me investigators have chased leads that might connect the abduction to someone close to Crystal, and that angle virtually ruled out, with the major focus on the conflicts in Misty’s account of what happened that night, and what some consider a grieving father’s unusual behaviour, like touting his missing child as the reason one Palatka waitress told me he gave her to request a free meal and drinks for him and friends. tx

If LE feels so strongly that someone close to the family is the one who most probably took Haleigh, then wouldn’t the most likely suspect still be Misty’s cousin from Tennessee? He DID threaten Ron, didn’t he? I was just wondering if this guy has been ruled out as a suspect, or if LE is just letting him fly under the radar for now.
Thanks so much for everything you’ve done for Haleigh. When this case is finally solved, it will be because of what you’ve done and what Cobra has done. LE can’t and hasn’t put the presssure on like you have, and everything under presure eventually cracks. Eventually, this case will do the same

A couple of things still puzzle me…..
#1 Misty stated repeated that the two children were asleep in the same room with her….the latest version, Jr. in the bed with her and Misty in the bed next to them….just two feet away….
Question: When she got up to use the bathroom, the first thing SHE OR ANYONE ELSE WOULD HAVE NOTICED WAS THAT HALEIGH WAS NOT IN HER BED?????? But she notices light on in kitchen first? Anyone…aware a light was on in kitchen, would immediately see child not there, then call “Haleigh, where are you?” No one would go check out the light, then say “Oh….I need to see if the kids are in bed?”
#2 This all took place around the time Ronald was getting off work, arriving at home??????? If you believe that one, then answer this: Haleigh’s not there…..back door propped open with brick (stone, boulder)…any parent would run outside first to go search for himself for the child….but, he tells Misty call 911….now that sounds like a believable action to take…however, he said he searched the house first then told Misty to call 911….problem here….the back door open…..so logically, normally, any parent would go outside to search for child…even knock on people’s doors….then when nothing turns up….call 911.
THE ANSWER TO HALEIGH’S DISAPPEARNCE LIES IN THAT HOUSE….and I believe the answer is BEFORE RON leaves for work…. the rest is ALL STAGED.
I pray to God that the child is still alive….but we all know ….

After reading Art’s last article, I am even more convinced that Misty’s drug use has everything to do with HaLeigh ‘s disappearance.
No matter how you look at it, when she was supposed to be watching HaLeigh and Junior, she was either still high, exhausted and highly unstable or had left to find more drugs.
No matter what happened as a result of this environment, Misty seems to be directly responsible.
Ron, as a parent that allowed his children to be supervised by a 17 year old drug user, is also responsible. He should have protected HaLeigh and Junior. He didn’t.

Great article, and fantastic outline of the case. It all seems to fall into place very well and point in one direction.
I still think the LE is getting a bit too much criticism here.
Could they be doing more? Perhaps. So could the rest of us, but we choose not to, or simply do not have the resources.
Many people question why Ron married Misty. I am still very interested in Ron’s comment to Cobra about “keeping enemies closer.” For some reason I keep coming back to that in my mind- the fact that Ron does not trust her either.
For a long time I believed that Haleigh was still alive, now I feel numb inside about that. If someone was using her, she would be gone as soon as she became more trouble than she was “worth.” The child has a condition that requires medical attention.
The fact that Jr. was not taken can be summed up very easily. Haleigh could provide something to the kidnapper/s that Jr. couldn’t. That is a sick and twisted implication, but we are not dealing with someone who anything but.
Cobra, Art, TJ, and all the LE involved in this case… you are almost there. Keep up the good work.

To be fair to Misty, she confided on camera to me, in our interview outside the Satuma conveniece store, and I can’t recall if this was edited in or out of the interview, about how her childhood was tough, and that while her parents are supportive of her now, they had their own issues while she was growing up. To be fair, all parents have their own issues, and some conflict and tension is as American as the apple pie at MeMas in Satsuma.

I do not understand why Ron and his attorneys have not met with LE yet. I would think he would do anything he could to find his daughter. NOT!!

All of these ridiculas stories constantly being printed about all of these disfuncional people isn’t helping to solve this case!! If these people who were involved in Haleigh’s life were responsible parents,I dare say none of this would have happened. Again, I will say, she was failed on every level within this family. I feel hope must be fading fast. The very people involved don’t have the decency to admit their role in this horrible tragdy. Why doesn’t law enforcement tell what they know, and put an end to all of these stories.

A tip that investigators received from a local resident who came forward and told them that Misty was not at home the night Haleigh disappeared. It has further been alleged that the night Haleigh was abducted was not the first time Misty had sneaked out while Ron was at work and his kids were sleeping. There are further allegations regarding her activities at that time; however that information has not officially been released. (This backs up what Art has been reporting as well and was said early on in the case. I wonder if the bus driver was questioned as to who picked up Haleigh that day from the bus stop?)

Not sure that i believe Ron got the bruised knuckles from hitting the door the night Haleigh went missing. Didn’t Nay Nay say Ron hit a wall or something when Misty told him she was pregnant. As for the confusion over who picked up Haleigh, well i think they are lying about Misty picking her up because Misty doesn’t have a drivers license. I still think Misty was jealous of Haleigh and got someone to take her (JMO). If Misty really cared about Haleigh she would be doing everything to help LE get a timeline and if she left the children unattended she should just say so.

He hit the door enough to leave a hand print; but it was his knuckles that were bloody? Make sense to anyone else?
(Whatever imprint his hand/fist made, le tells me it matched up, as did the blood.)
Misty was mia as early as the previous Wednesday? Do you think Ron was caring for those children by himself?
So where were the kids from Wednesday until Monday afternoon?
(Historically, Ron’s Mom and grandmother were often there to pitch in and back up Ron as a strong family unit.)
I don’t believe that Haliegh was in that car that Monday morning with Ron. Do you have a witness at the school that specifically saw Ron drop Haleigh off? Is there a witness that saw someone else drop her off? Who had Jr. on Monday morning?
(While my bus stop parents couldn’t see through the tinted glass to ID Haleigh, others confirmed Ron dropped her at school, and he later told Jerry Santos, a neighbor he was in a hurry because she’d supposedly spilled something on her shirt. Maybe that did happen, but my sources say he was up all night, frantic Misty hadn’t come over as promised, then fell asleep close to dawn and overslept…only to be jolted awake by his parental responsiblity to take his daughter to school. Remember, he’d been late plenty that fall, and DCF might be watching; too many tardies not confirmed to be related to medical issues could have turned out to be an issue.)
Where was Ron working during the day on Monday? Was it for a family member? If so, is their statement believable that Ron was there until he left for the job at PDM?
(My sources suggest he was looking for Misty, then she crashes at her Dad’s, and drives the van to pick up Haleigh at the bus stop, according to parents who saw her there, yelling at Haleigh to hurry and get in, backhanding a little boy believed to be Jr., riding with her, and griping loud enough for a parent in a car alongside to hear her talking about the “bad s–it” she’d gotten Sunday night and vowing never go get any more from the same source. )
Did Haliegh ever make it home that Monday night?
(Yes, she made it home at least after school where she was observed playing with a cousin.)
Did Misty meet up with Ron after picking up Haleigh at the bus stop?
(Unclear, just know Misty picked up Haleigh and her cousin, Austin, and drove them home. Jr. reported to be in van with her.)
Why did Ron lie about picking up Haleigh at the bus stop, and dropping her off at home?
(You’ll have to ask him; we’d love to hear him explain what’s going on here, if he disputes what eye witnesses at the bus stop tell me they have told police and DCF–and why. Like, was he waiting around the corner, and says Misty stopped to let Haleigh out so she could ride on his lap the rest of the way to the house, or something like that?)
Why did he say she said she would see him after work? Did Haleigh usually wake up at 3:30 am to see her daddy? Did he wake her up after getting home from work at 3:30 am? If so, why?

My sources close to the investigation find it strange that any parent with a missing child doesn’t hound the task force for answers, something new, anything, every day. Again, my door is open to Ron, Teresa, Mrs. Sykes, anyone in the family to e mail me and talk about anything, any aspect of the case, or just how they’re doing. Repeated calls to his lawyers go unanswered. Maybe it’s my hairdresser they don’t like.

Gatormadman–You are right about what Misty’s family says about Cousin Joe..According to what they told me — and Cobra was standing there too — He and Ron had a tiff and Ron believes he stole a pistol and placed it in a drainage pipe under Misty’s parents’ driveway to try to sell it later. Lindsay, Misty’s sister in law, told me the family reported Joe slept in his clothes and slept lightly at that, and had access to the van keys….
Only issue is, he’s apparently been ruled out. Don’t know why, but LE is far more on top of the circumstances here than you may realize. The one time spot they are missing is what happened from say around 8 pm until Misty was reported missing. And that’s alot more time than OJ had to murder Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman and drive from her house on Bundy, back to his place on Rockingham, shower and head to the airport for the flight to Chicago. I drove it and with lights I recall it took a little over two minutes, with lights as long as seven minutes….

This is getting to be quite a job for us all in Putnam County,defending ourselves evey time we turn.We do have sorry peices of trash living here yes,I am also sure they are in your town too.You have to protect your children at all times,you shouldn’t leave your children with anyone who has been off on a drug spree all weekend that’s just common sense.Yeah and there may be a couple of not so straight LE officers here,I know of none but I don’t know them all,the one’s I do know are really good people awesome parents.I do not think our LE is in no way shape or form how it is portrayed in Laurie’s comment,stop watching Soap Opera’s cause that’s what that sounds like.We have good people here,we may not all be the Cleaver’s, but then again who is.I pray all of you who think you are beyond having your child or family member abducted well it happens.And it happens more then you all may think,we should pray for this family and LE.One to do there job and the other to do what’s right and tell all the truth and then maybe the LE can move on and get to the bottom of this terrible situation. Among all the carping and theories, all finger end up at the Grandmas door steps. I say it’s time to re-interview all grandmothers involved, then make them take a poygraph and see who glows. Lets settle that issue.

Since it was reported that Misty was commenting on the drugs purchased on Sunday night, it seems that there must have been another person in the van with her, besides the children. With the witness parked right next to Misty and could over hear what Misty said, was she able to determine if the other person in the van was a male or female?

Poor Great Grandma Sykes has been harassed enough! I’m sure she is not in the best health anyway. Not to mention having all the worry she surely has faced recently. I’m certain she wants HaLeigh found more than we do. That is probably not the reason she hung up on Art. Just that she has likely had to answer that phone one too many times! Please try to get your information from someone else. Grandma can’t help what the public thinks about her family. I’m sure the family issues has caused her great stress in her life. Do you know who Misty was talking to when she was telling about the bad drugs THEY got on Sun. night, and who is THEY?
Also do you know who had Haleigh and Jr. during the time Misty was on her party? Ron had to work Wed. thru Fri. -right???
With all of the drugs and fighting that Ron and Misty have done, I find it hard to beleive that the relatives on both sides thought it was so great that these two got married…responsible-inlove???? I think they are covering up a big part of why Haleigh is missing…

I still have one question…maybe already addressed but havent seen it.. and that is about the back door. Misty claims when she got up to “use the bathroom” she noticed the kitchen light on & the back door open. OK–Well on Nancy Grace they did a walk thru of the trailer & when they opened the back door the inside door (not the screen door that was propped w/ the brick) the inside door closed all on its own. It would not stay open by itself–so was it propped open or was it just cracked open(not completely closed)?? I just dont see how it could be wide open all by itself when they clearly demonstrated how the door would swing closed on its own?? Do we know exactly what Misty meant when she says she saw the back door open??

What does this all have to do with facts. This is on going smoke and mirrors. Perhaps the Police can be more objective and specific in thier issue with Misty’s timeline. This will achieve a direct message and end the gossip. EX: if the Police truly have an issue with her timeline then be specific of that time, give the public possible senarios of where she could of been. Lets face it she can spin webs and fly from building to building so be specific in what velichle she could of been in figure out the distance she could of traveled and canvass those areas for information or just give it up. Quit winging it out there to stir up stuff but with no information no facts and no objective to reach no request from the public what is the point of telling it other than to stir up gossip. As for reactions well have you gone through this? This is just annoying.

I don’t report gossip, and don’t approve of gossip masked as reporting allowed as you know, like “someone said.” You can find plenty of forums that do, though.

I am still trying to confirm if the van was at the home when LE came out to the home when the first 911 call was placed? I thought I had read a while back that the van was kept at Misty’s cousin house. So, my question is this…if Misty was home with the kids after she picked up Haleigh from school was the van there? And if so, how did it end up at her cousins house that night if Misty was home all night? Did anyone – a neighbour happen to see what time Misty left the residence? Could it be that Misty went out to get more drugs and was having a bad reaction to the drugs that were in her system from the weekend and snapped? She keeps bringing up her cousin from TN….I am beginning to wonder if maybe Haleigh was dumped somewhere in route to TN? As for Misty not driving because she had no licences, well she admitted she drove in the past so we know she drives. My other question is why lie about who picked up Haleigh that day? And where did Ron go after he dropped of Haleigh at school? I thought Misty was at her cousins? Then I read she was at her parents…so could it be that she was dropped off at her cousins and drove back to her parents to crash until it was time to pick up Haleigh from school…after Ron caught up with her that day? Maybe after she got back they got into a big altercation about what she had done over the weekend? It would be great if they have an eye witness at to what time the van was at the home that day and night as well as Ron’s vehicle.

I’m having a hard time understanding how so many commentators here are saying you need to give up reporting on this- or that this all ‘takes away from finding Haleigh’.
I DEFINITELY think it is important information you have been faithfully providing! Thank you!- for keeping Haleigh’s name out there, be it what sOme people want to hear or not, and regardless of the many nasty things said by those who seem to want everyone to just stop looking or caring, and the little angel is still missing.
KNOWING NOW THAT THE GRANDMOTHER IS OBVIOUSLY WILLING TO PREVARICATE ON ACCOUNT OF MISTY, AND THAT SHE DID NOT PICK HALEIGH UP THE DAY SHE WENT MISSING (FROM THE BUSSTOP) LIKE SHE SAID, SEEMS TO BE VERY PERTINENT INFORMATION. THE FACT THAT BOTH SHE AND MISTY OUTRIGHT LIED ABOUT WHO PICKED HALEIGH UP THAT DAY IS WAYYYYYYYYY MORE THAN JUST IMPORTANT! IT IS IMPERATIVE.
There is no way we will ever know what happened to her if we, and LE just accept what these liars are saying at face value.

I just got done watching Jane Velez Mitchell with Art, which I think could have been longer, But, Again I want to elaborate, about Bloody Knuckles !! – #1. Seems to me, Ron is in the habit of Mashing his knuckles into anything, should something not go his way! He slugged something due to the Misty being on the prowl, I read some wheres that he slugged something after leaving the tree cutters argument, He slugged the Door, of the double wide, Out of anguish, the night Haleigh came up missing, They, the medics – Police Swabbed his knuckles that night, Matched them up to a Door, That was evidently Removed from the Double Wide, for Evidence, Long after the Crime Tape, had been removed.!!??
Whats wrong with this picture? Who in there right minds, Removes, something for evidence, almost two weeks after the crime had been committed.? Talk about time lines!!! any one could have touched that door after the fact, and as far as Ron slugging things, who’s to say he didn’t slug that door, over something, in the previous days before! No I’d say Ron Slugged Little Haleigh, {Maybe by Accident } because she got in the way of him slugging Misty – or Something else, that day after, Haleigh got home from School! when a fight issued between Ron and Misty, Before Ron went to work, My guess, is Maybe Grandma had been there at the trailer! My guess is Haleigh was in Bed, Misty told Grandma, Haleigh was asleep, Grandma Checked in on Haleigh, But didn’t go over and really check on her!!! Or She WAS There, and Ron had called his mama, about what happened, she went over there, to help with the cover up! so her Baby Boy wouldn’t go to Jail! Because Mama is a good actor as well with those Crocodile Tears, and half bass smile she supports on her face.
No. Some one dumped that Child into that dumpster, and figured out it was a wrong place to dump her, and because it gets dark early that time of year, Most people are in their homes, not noticing anything steering around out side. And if certain persons have the tendencies, to be on the dark side of life, Knows more about their neighbors habits, than the Neighbors themselves. So they would be able to remove a Little body. with out anyone noticing, and if there is all sorts of traffic coming and going from their Double Wide, neighbors would automatically think that it normal for them, and not think any thing of the comings and goings from that house! No ! Ron, Misty, Ron’s Mother, Misty’s Mom, Knows what Happened there! because they added and bedded this situation, and who better to lead the way! but that of Ron’s mothers help, Because she works as a Dispatcher for the Officers Club, And and who knows more about How to do things than her!Time lines Don’T mean nothing, If there met with a Good Plan. As for the time line on the door being removed!! It wouldn’t really matter, if it were removed that night or not! the verdict would still remain the same, Because Ron Staged, that act of his, and is in the habit of slugging things, due to his temperament. Maybe even Haleigh!!! { By Accident } { NOT!!!}

One of these Two scenario’s are correct! I’d Almost Bet my Life on it! {EeeYep – Time lines !!!I think those legal Eagles, Crashed on this one!!! Removing the door WAY after the Fact, Such Geniuses. Wow! What Kind of Crack were they on?

this is what I think, Misty should be thrown in jail for lying several times, isn’t that hindering an investigation, and maybe a little time in jail would be more sufficient than a beating from Ronald in getting the truth. The fact that Crystal still doesn’t have custody of her son is so unbelievable, A wild animal would be a better parent than Ronald and Misty. This case is an embarrasement to law enforcement they should be ashamed of themselves for letting this horrible soap opera continue. They should be focused on finding that poor little girl, AND DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you notice Ronald almost went bald after the Geraldo interview exposing his drug use? Do you really think he got the new dew for his surprise wedding?

I am on pins and needles to find out if they found anything new.
In the 911 call the operator tells Misty to check the door and see if it looks like someone tried to break in that door and Misty says no, but you can hear Ron in the background say ” yes, the lock is turned side ways” perhaps he hit the door out of anger and bloodied his knuckles then, because LE had arrived and he did not have time to turn the lock side ways. Therefore, LE could find no force of entry into the home. Just like Misty on the 911 call says Haleigh was wearing a pink pajama shirt and underwear but approx 10 minutes later in the police report she says Haleigh was wearing a pink shirt and tan shorts.
Perhaps the children were somewhere else at a sitters and Ron woke up late and had to go pick up Haleigh there before he dropped her at school. Misty may of came home on Sunday night and she and Ron partied all night. Just a thought.

Was it confirmed that the blankets (plural) were in the washer or dryer? How about the sheet that Misty said was used for Haleigh?
Was the mattress Haleigh slept on wet with urine like was reported (the reason for the blankets to be washed)?
Was it ever confirmed that Ron was at the convience store that morning?
What time did Ron get off of work that day?
I just find this so hard to believe that someone came in to that mobile home and snatched Haleigh up with TWO OTHER PEOPLE sleeping in the same room!!
I have to believe there is much more to this case than the public has heard.
What is the reason that neither Misty nor Ron have been named as persons of interest?

Art-Your article says Santo’s girlfriend saw Misty slap a kid. Mr. Santos also has claimed he witnessed passed abuse.
Why not report that Misty slapped the child in the van? Why not report they overheard her talking about scoring drugs?

Someone was watching Misty and took this kid probably when she was out. Either that or Misty did something to her but I doubt Misty could keep LE fooled all this time. So, who?
I hope someday we find out. Just because Ron Cumming’s does not behave the way you would or you would like him to does not mean he killed his kid. If Santo’s is such a savior of children and saw abuse (or his girlfriend did), heard about drug use, saw Ron almost run kids over, all the day before Haleigh went missing AND felt Haleigh was neglected since his daughter (took her under wing), why not call DFS or tell his uncle or dad who works for them? Since he is such an upstanding citizen I guess he must have called.

Has anyone else noticed, that even though Good Ole Ronnie Boy appears to be crying so hard,(squeaking voice and all) not once are there actually tears streaming down his face ? Yes at the end he uses the bottom of his shirt to wipe his eyes, but with ALL that crying it certainly would have taken more then just that “dab” to wipe away real tears.His eyes never get puffy, from crying. As for the redness that creeps up his neck, well heck anyone can make that happen, by straining.I know if I was to cry that hard, you wouldn’t be able to understand my words..I say it was all for the cameras ! Is he trying out for a movie award ?

If Misty is indeed the one who did something to Haleigh, is it at all possible, that it happened around 10 pm when she claims to have gone to bed, but never actually did ? Was in a foul mood because she has no drugs to take, Haleigh still wasn’t asleep, and that infuriated Misty, and Misty got too rough. When Haleigh wouldn’t responde, Misty got scared, and took Haleighs body someplace so that Ron could help her.
Maybe the Man In Black that Ron Jr. saw wasn’t a man at all, it was actually Misty dressed in black he got a glimpse of through his sleepy little eyes.

Questions for you:
1) Do you know if Ron or his lawyers regularly call in to LE to see if there is any progress in Haleigh’s case?
2) Based on your memory, is the screened porch of Ron’s old trailer visible to neighboring trailers? If ‘yes’, have those neighbors verified whether Misty routinely fed Haleigh & Jr. dinner on the porch? Do neighbors recall seeing the kids eating on the porch on the night in question?

I know all you people here love bashing Ron, Misty, and Teresa, and I hope that none of you ever find yourself in the shoes of these people. but how will you feel when the truth comes out and Ron, Misty are as innocent as you are? will you even think about how you made things worse for them after losing their child? I know that ther are a lot of people out there that do bad things to their kids like casey anthony, but take a look at these type cases such as the Elizabeth Smart, taken by stranger, the cops were so focused on parents it took 9 months to find her and all along the sister was telling the cops who took her. Have any of you ever saw the movie ‘GONE IN THE NIGHT’, someone came into the house and took the girl and the father went to prison for several years after they found the little girl murdered? this is a true story and a lot of stories just like that, where the parents get blamed, and the cops just focus on family. if you listen to these families they will tell you that the cops get tunnel vision and dont see whats really happening, you would think after so many cases like this that the cops would take notice to satistics. Don’t believe me research it for yourself. Pc needs to look at neighbors thats where they will find who took haleigh.

Great investigation, thanks for all the info and for clearing up the problem with incorrect transcript from the TV Nancy Grace show. That could have been a problem if left uncorrected as it could be used as evidence if anyone is ever charged with the disappearence.
Do you know if LE has cleared the A/C man? We have never heard any more about him. Do you know if he was a friend of the family or a stranger who worked for a company.

Mary#41, Goodgrief is pointing out that the audio clip contradicts the printed transcript. In the audio clip Teresa Neves does state ” my son picked her up from the bus stop” , but when it went to print it reads that Teresa Neves says ” yes maam, I picked her up from the bus stop”. Clearly an error on the transcript. This is the only thing that I believe Teresa Neves may need an apology on. I believe Teresa Neves knows something. She states in this audio that she did not know of any prior drug use by Misty and that her eyes (mistys) were probably red and dialated from crying and not sleeping a wink all night. Please!! Misty just came home from a bender. I am sure after Amber and Misty got in their little cat fight, Amber could not wait to contact Ronald and fill him in on what his lovely Misty was doing and who with. I am sure Teresa and GG Sykes heard all about Mistys adventure. TN knew her son was on drugs. I am sure TN knew Misty was a user too.
What I found most interesting was Bethany Marshall, psyco -analyst states, ” I feel that her ( Mistys ) FEAR of RON CUMMINGS might be one of the BIGGEST OBSTACLES in this investigation, because a 17 year old could be more afraid of the boy friend than the legal authorities”! In my opinion it surely has been!!
We have all seen Misty in the clips with Ronald and how Misty looks to Ronald before she answers any questions. Ron keeps Misty at bay.

Art I have to tell you that I don’t believe this story about Ron did that to his hands by slapping, ( accounting for the palm print on the door), or punching any door on that mobile home.
My reasons are as follows; first the door would need replaced and would have shown physically visible signs of damage. Mobile home doors are aluminum sheeting over a foam core. They aren’t like regular house doors at all.
Two, had he punched the door, it would have had to have been replaced and Mobile home doors are usually of an odd size and can’t be replaced with regular house doors unless there are modifications done to them. I watched the walkthru of the trailer that was done and I have looked at every picture of the doors that I can find, I see no damaged door that needs replaced. There are rumors flying that they are looking hard into being a family abduction for profit in the case. Meaning that Crystal and her side of the family set this all up to get cusoty of both kids and to get donations from all over the country like the A’s did with Caylee case.And Misty never used back door always front door and never locked it.And She went to her brothers every nite.So my questions is if Misty never locked front door, Who put the block in the back door to hold the door open?I would love to hear coments on this please.

Art, Is there anyone watching Ron and Misty on a daily basics,to see if they may return to where Haliegh may have been discarded if she was killed?,Or if they may have gotten some one to take her for what ever reason.That they may go around that person or place she may be at?
I hope and pray that this child is alive, it is so sad.There are to many children going missing and killed.
She is in my thoughs and prayers that she is alive and if not the truth will come out.

America’s most wanted website says (after interviewing LE) that all family members were interviewed AT LEAST ten times?
It also says LE said it was “Satisfied” with lie detector tests from Ron and Misty.
The wording on the FBI site is interesting. Instead of saying last seen sleeping in her bed or taken from her home like they do in many missing child cases it says something like the last person that saw her claims or reports that she was missing from her bed. Like they are not taking that as a fact.
Still, maybe you are being to hard on Misty. What if someone just took the kid? What if the backdoor was not locked as they believed it was and someone watched and just took the kid. Either that or Misty left and Haleigh got up and turned on the light and went out then someone took her.
Nobody has the right to take Haleigh, no matter what is wrong with her parents or how bad their actions are.
I also think that if Ron Cumming’s hurt his kid he would NOT act as you have said he did. I mean he would want to act as innocent as possible.
Where is this Chad Renoylds? He really bothers me.

I think anyone that is saying Ron Cumming’s or Misty killed Haleigh does not care about Haleigh. She could be out there and people should look for her till we know otherwise. likeastone, they pointed out on NG that the outside door was propped open and the inside door stayed open with laundry, just a tee shirt on the floor. They asked if laundry was usually on the floor and she said yes. The way the interview went it seemed they had the same question you did and the grandma explained that the inner door was open with laundry, probably also done on purpose to keep it open.

I watched this video again and it is pretty obvious
that Ron was a broken man and didnt know what happened to his daughter Haleigh.
I’m sure he did hit his fist on the wall hurting himselve
and felt it was better he hit the wall then hit Misty for I feel he was already mad at Misty from her staying out all night partying and now Misty didnt show responsibility in watching Haleigh or Junior causing Haleigh to be abducted and this would make anyone furious.
Poor Haleigh would be here now if Misty didnt leave her all alone ……she needs to fess up instead of trying to protect her own hide. How much did you really love Haleigh huh Misty ??

What I can report is that the Crystal family connection — spiriting Haleigh away — has fallen off the boards; sources close to the case have chased one Chad ex – wife who may have had a get even motive, but that turned out to be a bust, and no plot tied to her side of the family is given any credence by investigators. In fact, she’s the only parent who regulary drops by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department for a briefing and update with her lawyer; still wondering why Ron apparently doesn’t need or want an update from detectives and has yet to schedule regular visits and briefings with his lawyer by his side…

In fact, swab of blood on his fist matched the blood on the wall… but fist/hand mark may be from the wall, not the door. We are efforting to confirm. Tx for the comment.

Ron doesn’t need updates on the case if he already knows what happened to Haleigh. If that were my child i would be in constant contact with LE. I never thought Ron had anything to do with Haleigh’s disappearance, until now.
Remember he said he married Misty “to keep his enemies close” that can only mean two things
1. He believes Misty was involved in Haleigh’s disappearance
or
2. He was involved and thought that if she was his wife she couldn’t testify against him (although that is not true in the state of Florida when it comes to children’s welfare…doesn’t mean he knew that though)

There is no comparison in Haleighs disappearance to Elizabeth Smart, Jessica Lunsford and Polly Klaas. In all of these horror abductions the LE found points of entry into all of the homes. The unlocked window at Elizabeth Smarts home, Unlocked window of Polly Klaas and the unlocked door of Jessica Lunsford. LE states there is no forced entry into the home of Ron Cummings. Ron stated as well as Misty the doors are always locked. Ron said he always goes through the home everyday before work and makes sure everything was locked. This must be true LE did not find an unlocked window. Just a propped open door with no pry marks to break that dead bolt Ron himself installed. The lock was new. They had not been living there that long. Heck!! Ron and Misty had only been dating/living together five months at the time Haleigh came up missing.
In all of the cases above the families of these missing girls sought out media, constantly stayed in touch with authorities and there were no lies in their accountabilities to what took place the night these beautiful little sweethearts faced the most horrifing event of their lives. The families of these girls did everything and anything possible to find their daughters.
Ronald needs to meet with authorities. He needs to get his wife to tell the truth about what happened the night Haleigh
disappeared. There is so many lies that it is hard not too suspect them in any wrong doings.
Watch the movie TAKEN and you will get an idea of what a DAD will do to find his daughter. Granted this is a movie and many dads do not have the skills of Liam Neeson, but they sure have plenty of resources to help keep the awareness of their child missing. Evading the authorities only makes him more suspicious. He brings all of the speculation on himself. If Crystal can stay updated by authorities for any new info on Haleigh and do scheduled events to keep awareness that her precious daughter is missing, Then so can Ronald. He should be standing right there beside Crystal at these events. Haleigh is their daughter.
I feel sad because this Sunday is Fathers Day. I hope Ron can see how important it is to do what he needs to do to help bring his daughter home.
May God bless Haleigh and bring her home soon. May God Bless Art for being the voice for Haleigh and Cobra for his diligent search efforts to help find Haleigh and JVM for helping to give Haleigh media coverage. GODS SPEED

Art I went back and found various videos that were done, walkthrus of the trailer if you will, by various shows. The one that sticks out is the one that was done on March 9th by Ron for the Today Show. It contained plenty of video of the walls of the trailer and the walls in the dining area, kitchen and washroom, and there were no holes in the walls.
Please verify where this hole in the wall was. I find this very important and a mystery that needs to be solved. I have serious reservations about this whole thing. Maybe because I have lived in trailers for years and I know how they are built. Especially given that I lived in trailers in Florida.

Ron has already stated that he picked up Haleigh that day after school. I’m sure the witnesses told LE longer ago what they saw, and Ron was asked when the last time he saw Haleigh by LE without doubt. So, unless he’s telling LE one thing, and the media another, they already have him telling the story of him picking her up. Don’t ya think?

There has to be a GOOD reason her own father or his wife would say Junior is better off with TN that with Crystal.
I mean Crystal is his daughter. Cobra said Johnny Sheffield and his wife Connie raised Haleigh and Junior. I am not sure how they could claim to have raised Junior when Ron Cumming’s has had custody since he was six months old. Still, sounds like some major issues existed and my still exist with Crystal. For them to want Junior with TN.

In all fairness, I really don’t think Ron knows what happened to Haleigh. I do however believe a family member…maybe the cousin does know. He was the first person Misty named when Haleigh went missing. The reason I think Misty named him is because, even when she was sleeping/passed out I think subconsciously she vaguely heard something that triggered that response. You know what they say about first impressions. Its too bad they couldn’t give her truth serum, or try hypnosis with her, maybe that would jar her memory. A lie detector would never work with the people of interest,because of the fact they all do drugs.

I agree with the others about your forum and 2spunky. It wouldn’t take much to scan her posts and see she has a clear agenda here. Why is that so difficult for you to see Art? In reference to my post# 110. I stated as to why Teresa Neves MAY need an apology for being mis-quoted. None of us knew the truth about who picked up Haleigh on her last day at school, until Art reported who really picked up Haleigh. In all honesty IF at the time TN believed Ron. Then no she did not lie ;only Ron did. You have to be fair.
I do believe TN knows something about Haleighs disappearance as well as GG Sykes. I believe that TN was up to no good when she led Cobra and Art in those woods.
I just wish someone would get a conscience in that small circle, so Haleigh could be brought home. I am trying to stay hopeful, but I do feel Haleigh is with the Lord. In any case HALEIGH NEEDS TO BROUGHT HOME and JUSTICE RENDERED TO ALL INVOLVED!!!!!

i know it’s been said that le is a lot further along with the investigation than it seems. but i think ron and misty know what happened to haleigh. and that everyone is just sitting around because of all this family togetherness with law enforcement and ron’s mom. all these drugs and no one ever getting arrested for anything in that town. i dont think this will ever go anywhere–and wouldnt have gotten this far if it wasnt for cobra and art. i know i shouldnt feel this way for haleighs sake but this is a dead end coverup from the get go.

Diane, could you please link where it was reported that Misty left the front door unlocked. I have not yet seen that reported. Until, then I just have to follow the facts that have been released. I believe if LE was told the front door was left unlocked they would not have reported that there was no force entry into the home. Ronald and Misty both made statements that everything was locked, this includes the front door. If GG Sykes was there at 7pm it was already dark and they were at home. Misty claims she did not leave the home and Haleigh was put to bed at 8pm. I am sure Misty locked the door after GGSykes left approx. 7:30 to 7:40. Misty may have left the door unlocked if she went to her brothers earlier through the day , but at the time Haleigh was TAKEN it was reported that everything was LOCKED.
In the movie Taken he did not know who took his daughter. He had to find out who did. Like I said this is just a movie. It just showed a dad that stopped at nothing to bring his daughter home. Ronald has alot of resources at his disposal to TRY and locate his daughter. He could team up with Crystal and help keep people aware of her strange disappearance. There is no time for bitterness between parents!! He could meet with LE as they have asked him to!!
There is a little girl named Haleigh ann marie Cummings that is missing. Haleigh needs to be found and brought home!!! EVEYONE needs to make her their #1 priority.

By TN stating Ron picked Haleigh up,she made it sound like it was a knowledgeable fact. TN could have made it known right off the bat that Ron told her XYZ, but she didn’t. To me it was like “One lies, and the other swears to it.” I am pretty sure this is what Art, Cobra, and the LE have been up against the whole time; with some of the parties involved, and because of their mind-set these people have actually purposely, or unpurposely hindered all efforts in trying to resolve this case. I certainly agree with you concerned citizen when you mentioned “I believe that TN was up to no good when she led Cobra and Art in those woods” Because I still wonder…what the hell was that all about? it kinda remained me of little Caylee, you know the woods, the snake thing. I personally wish there was a law on the books that would force primary care-givers of missing children to be given truth serum, hypnosis, or in lock-down for at least 24 hours (so no drugs could be used) prior to taking a lie-detector test. It seems now a week doesn’t go by anymore that another child isn’t reported missing, and later found dead.

concernedcitizen: I feel the same way as you, its a pretty safe bet at this point, that Haleigh is no longer with us.
However, I find comfort in the fact the guilty party, or parties will be judged even if it is on a higher plane. I know some ppl think the LE in this case was “johnney on the spot” I’m just no sure I agree with that opinion. Because even when Cobra was out there putting his “own” money where his mouth was to the tune of what… several thousand dollars in loss income, the LE in that town dogged him out.
And for all the donations made on behalf of Haleigh, nothing was ever offered to Cobra to offset his expenses.
I absolutely believe in some respects LE did drop the ball in this case, and never picked the ball back up. So I guess at this point Haleigh’s case is “Dead in the water.”
And of course in closing, I would love to have them prove me wrong.
