Exclusive: Cobra “Takedown” of an accused predator that lead to his arrest May 22

SATSUMA, Fla.—The orange pickup truck kicked up dust clouds on the back roads, a “Missing” poster of 5 year old Haleigh Cummings on the rearview window. Behind the wheel: an accused predator free on bond.
Although charged with sexually abusing a nine year old girl and molesting her 16 year old sister almost two years ago, Daniel Everett Snodgrass, 54, maintains his innocence, and a soft spot for missing children. A fine motive for the self-employed businessman to drop by the Haleighbug Center on Highway 17 outside Satsuma to offer free furniture almost three months ago.
“I’m a nice guy, I just wanted to help,” he told center organizer Jeremiah Regan, 26, who followed the truck, uncertain of the mystery benefactor’s identity as he drove past the gate with the no trespassing sign, invited in to check out two heavy desks in a shed alongside a sprawling ranch house, where Snodgrass taught young girls how to ride a unicycle. Regan thanked him, then spied a black bulge around his ankle, partially covered by long blue jeans – the tell-tale GPS monitor.
Snodgrass. Snodgrass….The name suddenly rang a bell…He suddenly remembered the news…a man named Snodgrass had been charged with a capital sex crime, set for trial June 22, in Palatka, where at least two girls are expected to testify he molested them. (Snodgrass has told police the alleged victims and witnesses are lying.)
After confirming his identity, Regan politely rejected the donation, and Snodgrass ordered him off the property. He related the story to William Staubs, aka Cobra, bounty hunter, bond pickup agent and pro bono private eye who was checking out accused and registered sex offenders in Putnam County as part of his search for clues to the Haleigh Cummings mystery.
According to law enforcement, GPS satellite coordinates transmitted during the window of time the little girl was reported missing early Feb. 10 showed Snodgrass was nowhere near Ronald Cummings trailer when 17 year old babysitter Misty Croslin said she woke up to find Haleigh gone.
While ankle monitors aren’t infallible near large bodies of water, experts say, police source told me Snodgrass was ruled out in the Cummings case, along with 247 registered sex offenders in Putnam County.
But Cobra says he grew concerned about Snodgrass after he’d paid a visit to the Haleighbug Center, which was shut down in Satsuma last week and moved to the hay farm in Baker County, where Haleigh’s mother, Crystal Sheffield, lives with her fiancé, and their one hear old, while undergoing further tests for seizures that make her unable to drive, according to her attorney, Kim Picazio.
Cobra was also concerned after interviewing Snodgrass’s mentally disabled ex-wife who related the same story she’s also told police—that she helped Snodgrass recruit young girls during their marriage. He also wondered whether he might be selling furniture and other items, if a tipster was correct.
“If your client is having a yard sale, that’s not a good sign,” said Sam Jochananov, a general insurance agent from Miami who bailed out Cobra after a local bail bond owner, Donna Jaquith, yanked his bond. “You’ve gotta ask if he’s a flight risk.”
Flight risk or not, critics say Cobra was not authorized to revoke a bond written by another agent, in this case, Chuck’s Bail Bonds, which had guaranteed the $70,000 no collateral bond that sprung Snodgrass.
If their client failed to show for court, and they couldn’t afford to pay, Cobra says the insurance firm that guaranteed the bond would be out of luck. As an authorized agent of the same outfit, like Chuck’s, Cobra claims the power of attorney granted him by the insurance carrier and on file with the state gives him the right to look out for the company, investigate and revoke a bond if necessary. Others dispute that.
Still, off he went to Snodgrass’s home, where our cameras caught Cobra calling for police backup on March 20—he reported hearing a gun being loaded inside the house—after he set off his siren and Snodgrass refused to come out. Cobra retreated to his truck and waited for police after a Snodgrass’s housemate named Marty marched out in jeans with no shirt, strutting washboard abs, a gray Fu Manchu and defiance; he demanded Cobra take a hike, snarled he was trespassing.

As two Putnam County sheriff’s deputies stood feet away like referees, and Marty took photos of Cobra, the beefy bounty hunter asked Snodgrass to go with him. When he resisted, Cobra threw him on the ground, flipped him like a pancake, and slapped on the cuffs.
In the criminal complaint Snodgrass filed against Cobra, he says the private eye jammed his knee in his back, and escorted him to his black Chevy Tahoe. There, the videotape shows, Snodgrass said he was glad a camera was recording because Cobra’s rough stuff was “illegal,” that he’d done nothing wrong to merit bond revocation, or the sexual battery charges against him.
With Snodgrass in the back seat, Staubs was enroute to the Putnam County Jail when insurance agents underwriting the bond ordered him to release the client, apologizing and advising Cobra to explain that his paper work was found to be in order after all.
Two months later, Cobra learned the complaint had become an arrest warrant, and he turned himself in to the Putnam County Jail May 22, charged with false imprisonment, a felony. Within hours, Cobra was free on a bond, but it was hardly trouble free. He had to spend several hours in jail, his biggest fear, after A-1 Bail Bonds posted his bail letter, then yanked it, claiming concern he’d owed them money.
But Cobra tells me he offered his girlfriend’s credit card, owed them nothing and then had to scramble to find a Miami bondsman, Sam Jochananov, to put up the $5,000 bail. Sam tells me he was entitled to the $500 fee, and had no qualms Cobra was good for it. “I’ve known him for ten years. We’ve done a couple hundred pickups. I trust him. In fact, I’d trust him at my mother’s house.”
Sam said he had to field an angry call from the Palatka firm demanding the bond fee, but he says he told A-1 he’d put up the bond papers that ultimately got Cobra out, and that Donna was out of luck.
In an interview with The Bald Truth Sunday, Cobra said he’d just obtained a copy of his official power of attorney issued by Continental Heritage authorizing him to pick up any client, and mailed it last week to Putnam County Sheriff’s detective Ken Taylor. “That should prove I worked for the company, and had every right to do the pickup,” Cobra told me.
No trial date has been set for Staubs; a call to Snodgrass’s attorney requesting comment wasn’t returned by Sunday.

Ironically, Ken Taylor, the same detective who put together a case against Cobra had previously investigated the sex crime charges against Snodgrass, and some feared the accused predator might now claim to be a victim and attempt to undermine what law enforcement considers a slam dunk.
Only the chilling nature of the charges against Snodgrass–capital sexual battery on a person less than 12 years of age and lewd and lascivious molestation–seem to have been eclipsed by debate over Cobra’s failed attempt to revoke his bond,.
For the first time, confidential police reports obtained exclusively by The Bald Truth reveal the furtive world of an alleged predator, a confused little girl, and a fast acting relative who alerted police to photos of a child posed in adult lingerie – photos allegedly taken by Snodgrass who happened to be a friend of the girl’s father. The girl told officers her father said it was all “innocent fun and nothing sexual was meant by them,” but not to tell her mother. A sister was allegedly a victim, too.
Reported to the Abuse Hotline, an investigator from Florida’s Department of Children and Families yanked the girls from the father’s home over failure to report the initial incident, according to the report, which offers a glimpse into the kind of slimey tacticss alleged concoct to groom children as prey.
When Taylor came by to interview the girls, a child welfare investigator showed him a signed contract between Snodgrass and the girl’s father, retaining Snodgrass to teach both girls “how to ride a unicycle and it covered the possibility of Snodgrass measuring the girls for outfits.”
Taylor also found photos of the girls with Snodgrass inside the father’s album, which included photos of topless women, apparently taken by Snodgrass, according to the police report. Taylor watched via closed circuit television while a female coordinator with the DCF Child Protection Team from the University of Florida spoke with the two girls.
They said Snodgrass had “several different jobs…a limo service, a dating service and taught people how to be in the circus.”
According to the report, one girl described a maneuver Snodgrass used—holding the unicycle seat, as he “rubbed her privates” over her clothing. She recalled wearing a “see-through” black and red top he’d picked out, and black bottoms. She said her father remained outside “watching the fire” while Snodgrass snapped away, posing her on “a big bed with a pink and hot pink bedspread,” similar to bedding later found during a search.
When asked about the incidents, the report says, the girl became “very shy and did not look at (the case worker), then “disclosed that Dan had tied her to his bed while she was naked.” Unwilling or unable to “verbalize all that exactly happened to her,” she did describe how he had performed oral sex and “made her hold his ‘thing’.”
‘It felt nasty,’” said the girl, elaborating about the tan rope he’d used to tie her wrists to four posts on the bed, similar to a tan nylon rope police found later inside his home. According to the report, she told the caseworker her father advised “she had to do whatever Dan told her to do,” and that Dan had been drinking wine and beer.
When the caseworker interviewed her sister, she said she had told her father about the inappropriate touching and he’d confronted Dan who said “if he did it, he didn’t’ mean to do it and it would never happen again.”
In the report, the sister said Dan prescribed mandatory massages as part of his unicycle training regimen, posing her in various bathing suits and lingerie, interludes where he allegedly touched private places without permission.
They’d met Snodgrass, she told investigators, when her father’s motorcycle ran out of gas on the top of Dunn’s Creek Bridge. He’d ferried her father for a fillup, then returned to ask her “if she wanted to be in show business.”
On Sept. 11, 2007, the police report says, the men signed a contract and the girl began visiting Snodgrass’s home three times a week for two hour lessons. The first alleged sexual incident occurred on the third visit, according to the report, and during the final visits, she said she tried on different bathing suits, lay on his bed for massages and once wore what she described as a “Catholic school girl outfit.”
Six days before Christmas 2007, armed with what he believed to be sufficient probable cause that a sex crime had occurred, Taylor pressed Judge A.W. Nichols for a search warrant “to collect any and all evidence from the residence,” and it was signed. Then he presented an arrest warrant, the report says, and “Judge Nichols agreed…and signed an arrest warrant for Daniel Snodgrass for Capital Sexual Battery on a minor child under the age of twelve, with no bond.”
Later that day, Taylor lead a team from Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID), to search the house, where he read the warrant to Snodgrass and one of his tenants, then advised “Snodgrass I had an active warrant for his arrest. I then read Snodgrass his constitutional rights per Miranda,” and he agreed to speak without a lawyer, according to the police report.
Armed with a digital camera and camcorder, searchers documented a wardrobe that may have been used for the unicycle scheme, including “several outfits (bathing suits, lingerie) described by both (girls), including a red and black (Victoria Secrets) teddy.”
Among the items seized: “red/black Teddy, size small, jeans shorts for children size 12, yellow seamstress measuring tape, six pages of nude photos (Polaroid), one folder containing information on (victim 1) (with photographs), one folder containing information on a (16 year old)” girl.
In addition, the report says police collected a VHS tapes, home movies, 4 swimsuits (two bikinis, 2 one piece), black photo album containing information on (girl 1), 15 polaroid photographs of (the girls), Sony Vaio desk top computer, wireless receiver for DVR, black surveillance camera attached to bed frame, black surveillance camera in box in living room, black surveillance camera hidden on gorilla in bathroom, red belt with red balls, 2 VHS pornographic movies (“Lust in a Cage,” “Ultimate Craving”), hand written notes, 2 unicycles, and a Polaroid camera.
After the search, Taylor sat down with Snodgrass and recorded a statement.
“He denied ever touching either (accuser)” and “refused to admit he had pictures of any juveniles in women’s lingerie,” according to the report , referring “to the clothing as ‘Circus Outfits.’ I asked Snodgrass about the pictures of the girls in the Victoria Secrets thong ‘Teddy.’
According to the report, “Snodgrass refused to admit the outfit was a Teddy, (and) advised me I needed to give both victims a lie detector test, because they were lying. I asked Snodgrass if he was willing to take a computerized voice analysis examination.” That’s when Snodgrass asked to speak with an attorney before “taking the examination.”
According to the report, Taylor properly ended the interview when Snodgrass asked for a lawyer, and booked the accused into the Putnam County Jail, where he initially remained without bond.
The next day, December 20, 2007, Taylor got a call from a registered nurse with the Child Protection Team from the University of Florida. During her forensic medical exam of one victim, she said the girl “disclosed Snodgrass had in fact … penetrated her,” according to the police report, and “forced (her) to watch pornographic movies in Snodgrass’s bedroom, as well as (showing her) images of naked children on his computer….and made her smoke ‘weed’ that made her feel funny.”
Based on the new revelation, Taylor obtained another search warrant, and found a “white plastic garbage bag” with a pink comforter similar to one girls described in the bedroom, 37 homemade VHS tapes, 8 homemade compact disks, pink pillow cases, pink shams, pink sheets, a tan nylon rope, and a brown cardboard box with women’s clothes.”
When the news of the arrest was reported on television, Taylor received more calls, including one from the grown daughter of a Snodgrass girlfriend, who said she’d tried to warn her mother there was something strange about Dan, and claimed he’d tried to “recruit her into working for his escort service.”
She’d also gone along when Snodgrass had taken the girls to the circus in Jacksonville, and did not notice anything “out of the ordinary” except it seemed he was paying an “inordinate amount of attention” to one of the girls, according to the report.
Later, Taylor asked her mother if she was aware of photos Snodgrass had taken of her. No, she said. So Taylor showed her “two Polaroid photographs … in what appears to be an unconscious state.”
Shortly afterwards, the police report says, the (then) girlfriend ended the interview and remarked she “did not believe Daniel was capable of such a crime.”
According to the report, Snodgrass’s ex wife told police she’d helped him “gain access to young women,” using pets “to get young girls to come and talk to Daniel,” who she introduced as her brother or her son. Only she couldn’t remember any names, claiming “most of these incidents had happened when they lived in St. John’s County.”
Taylor forwarded his investigation to the State Attorney’s office, and Snodgrass was later charged.

Last year, he spent four months in jail, until Judge Edward Hedstrom reversed the no bond hold, and Snodgrass was released on a $70,000 bond with a GPS ankle bracelet, according to Jacksonville’s Action News reporter Celine McArthur. Recently, she tried to ask the judge why he didn’t consider Snodgrass a threat to the community, or a serious flight risk, criteria for a judge to deny bond, but he was “unable to speak with us.”
Earlier this week, The Bald Truth learned Snodgrass persuaded his then girlfriend to co-sign his bond, meaning if he split, she would be on the hook for full amount of the bond. That guarantee made the accused predator a better risk, because if he split, someone else was on the hook and if they didn’t have the cash, their property could be seized and liquidated to pay the bond.
However, the girlfriend was then hospitalized in an unstable mental condition, and her affairs legally turned over to her daughter. On June 9, that daughter — and her mother — appeared at Chuck’s Bail Bonds in Palatka, and declared in a document obained by The Bald Truth they would “no longer be responsible for the bond on Daniel Snodgrass,” and should be released from any liability. The company agreed to release them, and the wife of Charles Ingram, Dale, who runs the company, signed as the witness in front of notary Justin Cumbo.
Asked about the likelihood of bond granted in the first place for someone charged with a capital sexual offense, a spokesman for the Florida State Attorney’s office told The Bald Truth that their office would fight such a request today, but the Snodgrass case had happened during “the previous administration.”
As part of her diligent reporting, McArthur learned a Florida Department of Justice report showed that 12 per cent of those charged with murder and 52 per cent of people charged with rape, were released on bond before trial. One third, she reported, “were either re-arrested for a new offense, failed to appear in court or committed another pre-trial violation.”
According to police, Snodgrass has complied with terms of his bond, which requires he remain in Putnam County until trial, except for medical appointments, and stay away from girls under 18. Donna Jaquith of A-1 Bail Bonds in Palatka told me she declined to bond him out, citing a capital sex charge, and asked for his house deed as collateral. But Chuck’s Bail Bonds offered a better deal…

1. Has the Father of the two girls been charged with any crime?
2. Is there any relationship or connection between Haleigh and these ‘alleged’ predators?
3. Also curious-did you actually see a copy of Cobra’s POA from Continental Heritage providing Cobra w/authorization to pick up any client?
4. One last thing-The call to det. Taylor from the grown daughter of a Snodgrass girlfriend: she initiated the call to the detective, but at the end of the interview, the woman ended the interview w/det Taylor saying that “she didn’t believe that Daniel was capable of such a crime”? Do you know who the woman does think took those polaroids of her, if not Snodgrass? Thank you.

To think of Snodgrass crying and whining like a baby just makes me sick. How did those poor lil innocent girls feel with his sick perverted self? I know it’s been said he has been ruled out,but, maybe they may need to ch it out again. Just b/c he has a monitor on should not make him innocent. All you have to do is look on the computer and find out how to borrow some time for yourself with it on.Then to think of him saying he is sorry and he won’t do it again. WHAT? Of course, next breathe he didn’t do it.I do not believe for one minute those lil girls lied on him. Whey would they? Not too mention there is more than one.Just makes me sick.

i feel for William Staubs, called cobra. this is his job and been doing for such a long time. is his part of living.i dont have no concern for Daniel Snodgrass, he ruined two minor girls live’s for there rest of there lives and how many more we just dont even no…i seen the Video,of Cobra doing his job than the police that he was talking to qoute,i never had a problem over there, i have work a few cases. he also qoute, if there is a start to fighting we ‘ll come and separate ya’ll. and when cobra ask searching his house that police qoute, it’s been several years. they should have stucked right there in DanielSnodgrass home area like glue.i feel cobra, like i say again was doing his job. this DanielSnodgrass is a captal sex preditor, his exwife admits what when on. and his girlfriend daughter to. for heaven sake cobra is a men who express himself, never hide him self in a corner.By ShambySay.

I wonder if any of these judges that allow such leniency to violent offenders would have any issues with these predators spending time with THEIR families since they feel so safe in releasing them back into the public? That judge should be relieved of his duties.

Art, I can not believe they let that sick thing walk the same streets as children. I do not feel that a sex offender can be ‘rehabilitated’. They only learn to not leave any witnesses once they get caught and do time. I wish they would make sex offenses on children a one strike crime. LWOP for them would help fix this problem. These are my opinions and I am am just disgusted with how many sex offenders there are out there.

Great story Art! It doesn’t matter one bit to me whether Cobra had the okay to take this SICKO in, IMO he should have NO rights. What was the father of these girls thinking? Why do parents expose their children to this kind of crap it is absolutely disgusting! Cobra I wish you would have put more than a knee in his back. I’ve been sitting here waiting for you to send us the NEWS. Great Job as usual, ART. Hey, maybe the good guys really will win this time. The bottom-feeders might be mad at you guys for spoiling their party, but thats just too bad.In all fairness I think that the LE will show solidarity and let the world see you, Cobra, TJ Hart and Simon are all on the same page. Trying to find Haleigh…and watching each others backs. I’m very worried that one of the you good guys might get shot. Those bad people dont play fair. I think the government needs to put Alcatraz back on the block. We went through a tour there a while back. Now ALCATRAZ is a true prison where the vilest offenders went. Al Capone, Birdman of Alcatraz, etc., its cold concrete in clear view of SanFrancsico, surrounded by cold water and sharks. In my opinion thats where pedoplhiles belong too.Go rent the movie Birdman of Alcatraz with Burt Lancaster to get a feel of what it was like. Well I need to catch some sleep. My little grandchildren will be knocking at the front door for Grandma Debbie to come out and play with them. Lately they’ve had their feelings hurt because I’ve spennt so much time while the world is looking for Haleigh, that my little grandkids have the idea that maybe grandma loves her “Haleigh” more than them. The tinest is only 2 years old and she just crawls up in my lap and wont budge. She just gives mean looks to the computer because she thinks the little girl she see’s smiling back at her, is trying to steal me away. She’s very territorial with her Mom, Grandma Debbie and her Grandpa…they all are, its just that she is so cute the way she does it. She has naturally curly hair that falls in ringlets and big brown eyes and milky white skin and her brothers ages 4 & 6 adore her. I guess thats why it hits home so hard for us because our grandkids are all so little too….and my oldest grandson is 7 years old…he is my only son’s child. My son was murdered before the baby was born. He was only 22 but I loved him more every day. He was a great son and never gave us a bit of trouble, nor did his sister, They came close to it but I’m like a mama bear I’ve been told, so don’t mess with me. Take care…and bring our sweet Haleigh home. Its time to see her legs swinging from the swingsets at the parks. Come on home now Haleigh, your family & friends need you baby girl. Praying for you all. I hope we get to see the actual take down!!!!!!!!!! It is very hard to have any sympathy for a sex offender however, I am not sure what Cobra says is true. I would assume that the Bond Agent would be the party to revoke the bond. Cobra’s logic is understood and for his sake I hope it works and he gets off at least on the criminal complaint. Because this is a serious charge. What is Cobra being charged with? Is it false imprisonment and kidnapping? One or two felony counts? It seems very harsh but I assume he has no record and that he could have it reduced to a misdemeanor if he wanted to plead out. I can see the problem in that Snodgrass can flip this to his advantage and LE does not want that. They need to appear fair and impartial. They can’t let Cobra slide because so many people are aware of exactly what happened. If they allow Cobra to walk and a crime was committed then people with have sympathy for Snodgrass. It just seems like Cobra taking Snodgrass in because he has a contract with the underwriter is skipping a step. The bond agent and company holds the bond. The insurance and the bond company have a deal. If the bond company feels he is a risk they have someone pick him up and revoke the bond. Cobra can’t revoke his bond, how can he when he does not hold the bond. That would mean that Cobra could run around and arrest anyone who had a bond underwritten by this insurance company. If all bondsmen did this it would be a nightmare.

Snodgrass is a freak of nature. What a slimeball. Art, do you know if Judge Hedstrom is still in Putnam County? I hope the residents flood his office with letters of discontent for reversing Snodgrass’s bond. This Judge put every child in the surrounding area in danger.

…WOW! That’s incredible!!!! I am now 100% convinced that Cobra was acting on what he thought to be a legitimate warrant.
No way would ANYONE do what he did without believing they had a legal warrant to do so.
Maybe LE……FBI etc have Snodgrass in their sights already, and just needed a way to keep the investigation as quiet as possible.
Also……….I can NOT believe that the two little girls dad isn’t charge with the same thing as Snodgrass, for allowing/taking his children to be with Snodgrass in the first place.

If her child was missing I wonder if she would have put the focus everywhere else. Because of her Nancy Grace does not even cover little Haleigh anymore. Because of her Ron had to lawyer up. She has screwed this way up for Haleigh if she is alive. I have to wonder if either she thinks Haleigh is dead or if she knows Crystal’s family took Haleigh. Someone needs to teach Snodgrass what really happens to people who violate the trust and innocence of America’s children. Will the REAL men please stand up? It is my opinion that if American has REAL consequences for the multiples of these monsters and the crimes they perpetrate every day, they would do it alot less. Obviously the criminal judicial system is not that deterrant. I’ve had a molested daughter (one time incident) and the men of my church, her blood hispanic father, fire man uncle, child of police uncle, gang member 1/2 brother, college half brother, bar brawling uncle, two grandfathers – not one of these men took care of business. Not one. No, I’m not a skank who had a lifestyle conducive to asking for trouble. All all the felons I befriended as I looked for REAL men didn’t get involved either. Art way to go!! This is one sick dude. He never should have been released on bond!! He never should have been up at HBC. Cobra definitely had the right instincts about this perv. I believe Cobra will be totally exonerated, as he should be. We need stiffer laws to help protect our children!! I say lock Snodgrass up and throw away the key!! I personally ( imo ) still believe that the Cummings family know What happened the night Haleigh disappeared. Why else would they have told the lies? Had to read the part about what Snodgrass had done with closed eyes, he should have rotted in jail till his trial date. As should the girls’ father, and I’m not sure what you meant about “mentally disabled” but women who lure children for predators are the lowest form of life as well.
And then the piece of scum “involves” himself in a missing child center and Cobra looses his ability to earn a living over it. What an unholy mess.
As for the HBC, it provided focus and some comfort in the beginning, but must have become the saddest place once the tips and visitors dried up. All they really need is their phone line. To pay rent on a building in a remote location miles from their residence must have become an impossible burden some time ago.
The continued delay between Ronald Cummings and his lawyers re meeting with LE, is he getting the worst possible advice, or what?? It’ll be construed in the worst possible light and why wouldn’t it be?
Suppose one day there’s a break in the case and a D.A. has to put some of these folks on the stand. Meanwhile the Defense has miles of videotape of their changing statements and just has a field day at their expense.
Poor, poor Haleigh. We may never know what’s happened to her and if we ever do justice may never be served. So sad.

One thing that went through my mind, having covered alot of serial sickos: they often go to the funerals of people they’ve killed, collect news clippings and try to insert themselves into the whirlwind of activity whipped up by their deeds. Do you think dropping by the center might have been a cover for other motives? The bond agreement issue by the judge specifies no contact with any child under 18, and there were always young-uns around the center when I was there, whether Crystal’s or visitors. Had a formal complaint been filed with PCSD, an investigation might have been done into who he came in contact with that day and whether they were under 18. That sort of violation, if proved, might have resulted in the courts yanking him back to jail.

Not to mention his close proximity to other children at the center.
IMO, he is a textbook suspect and I can’t understand why a search warrant wasn’t obtained in the first 48 hours.
Maybe LE didn’t know about his cohort, Marty and only relied on his gps.

I just don’t understand what good a gps device does if no-one monitors it. Had it been, i would think he would have been picked up by LE, who should have been tipped off by the Insuance Co. back when he violated his terms, instead of months later by cobra. Is he on house arrest? Or just allowed to roam free so long as he has his bracelet on? If he’s allowed to roam free then is it up to the public to be aware of his where abouts? And if so was the public made aware of this? Then again if it wasn’t detected that he was violating his terms of release by being at the HBC than how secure are we that he was no-where near Haleigh the night she disappeared? I think there is human error somewhere in all this. Someone wasn’t doing their job or Cobra wouldn’t have had too do it for them. Thank you Cobra, i think you have shown us a glitch in the system of GPS. Give the man 15 min. of unsecured tracking and he could find another victim. It sounds to me like he’s not an amature.

Can something be filed now, after the fact that he was at the HaleighBug Center, since maybe no one realized they should’ve made a report at the time? In view of what’s been going on it’s understandable Crystal probably never thought to call police, maybe she could talk to someone now to file a complaint.

Half way through this long drawn out drama I became annoyed and bored. The actions of Snodgrass in regards to the crimes he is awaiting to go to trial on are horrible and yes he should be locked up if guilty. That aside it is not applicable to the Haleigh Cummings case and all this jibbering your doing is a long drawn out story in effort to under mind what was nothing more than a publicity stunt by you and Cobra. I am sure the Police checked the records of the monitoring bracelet on Snodgrass at the time Haleigh went missing. I find your statement in regards to ” bodies of water” nothing more than an attempt to keep the focus on Snodgrass because in reality you & Cobra don’t have a clue and did not uncover anything the Police didn’t already know with in the first couple of weeks following Haleigh’s abduction. I certainly hope you do not go so far as to use the horrible things Snodgfrass allegedly did to these other children for your beneifit. You do have direct permission from these victims, correct? I now see I have burned alot of energy in my life coming to nearly hating reporters like you, your behaviour has spoke for it self to the facts. “Simply not worth it”

I could throw up,,,just thinking about what that POS has done to children……..Something has got to be done to remove these creeps from the streets, we all have to walk, especially the children……..Here in Virginia, the days are getting longer and hotter,,,,while the trail of little Haleigh gets colder………This is a cold case now, and until her whereabouts are known, I will pray she is not suffering………In the meantime,,,I also pray, little junior is safe……..Art, why can’t the LE take Misty in and charge her with child endangerment, or something…SHE was the last one with Haleigh, and she obviously has NOT passed a polygraph, since they have interviewed her 10 or 11 times….The LE says” Misty”, gives inconsistant time lines…The child is missing,,,,the trail is cold,,,so they (LE) need to go back to ground zero…..That is with Misty…..

what little rent was charged was being paid for by donations. the rest of the money was “for crystals living expenses while in satsuma” (even though she’s been back in Baker County for almost 3 months). now the donations stop coming in (except the large chunks of cash kim’s crew is drawing in for her) and they decide to move hbc because crystal can’t drive (even though she drives anyway). yep. makes perfect sense to me! did anyone think to report snodgrass to the police since they realized he was a SO and had been to hbc? if so, why didn’t the PCSO do anyting if they were so intently trying to build their case against him? and if not, why the h*ll not?

Didnt Snod violate the conditions of his bail by hanging out with Misty?? I thought there was proof (by her verbally) that he had been hanging out with her and that there were witnesses or something? someone correct me if Im wrong there, but that sounds like a clear violation to me. I swear after reading all I do about true crime my children are never leaving the house without me or someone I trust , its a really scary world out there.

Are we to understand that the new HaleighBug Center will be on Crystal/Marie’s property in Baker County?
If so, would you be so kind as to explain what is meant by “Hay Farm”. There is no Hay Farm on that property.
If the new HBCenter is not on the Griffis/Sheffield property, would you please let us know where the new center will be, and when it will be opening up, please.
I’m wondering if Ms. Picazio really expects people from Satsuma to travel all the way to Baker County to turn in tips? She did say that the center was located right in the middle of Satsuma so that people could just drop in anytime with tips that they didn’t feel comfortable giving to LE. Laws ,.. What a joke really .. Laws are made to keep law abiding citizens inline .. Those who break the law couldn’t care less about them .. They are free to do as they please because they have no true fear of punishment .. Sure, they don’t want to go to jail .. But if they were looking at a some lashings .. It would bring down the crime rate ..
We handle these monsters with the utmost care & concern for their rights..
Justice should be determined by what is just .. Not by what is fair to the guilty side ..
Donald Snodgrass was not some random CHILD SE-XUAL PREDATOR sitting home minding his own business .. He threw himself onto the scene .. If Cobra had randomly went up to his house the question of whether he had a right to do what he did might be questionable .. Snodgrass had what was coming to him .. He knew what he was charged with, he went to the Haleigh Bug Center anyways .. He brought all this on himself ..
It shows me & should show all of you what a sad state of mind people in this country are in .. & What I mean by that is .. It seems the Detective investigating Snodgrass’ claims against Cobra felt compelled to bring charges against Cobra due to the fear that a jury might find sympathy in Snodgrass’ song about how he was just trying to donate furniture to a good cause .. Therefore undermining whether the claims against him were accurate .
Cobra ,.. He’s just a victim of circumstances so it seems ..

Also – common knowledge that TN is lying about her whereabouts the night Haleigh disappeared. She had been shacked up with a boyfriend… so how did she get to RC’s trailer so fast unless she was waiting. TN KNOWS!! She needs to be sweated out… Cobra knew this in the beginning…

Art, I enlarged the faxed copy of the power of attorney from Continental Heritage Insurance….so now I am wondering why Cobra took Snodgrass back since he had this document available to him?
Maybe I just don’t understand the laws and what not.
It appears to me that a power of attorney gives the holder the right to make legal decisions regarding revocation of bond (in accordance to the law of course) on behalf of said insurance company. I could be wrong.

Art..Please forgive me for what I am about to write. When I was 8 until I was 18, I was raped repeatedly by my own father. an ex-cop in …Virginia. I’d hide, he’d find me, I’d run away, the police would find me walking by myself, late at night and take me right back to the man I was desperately running from. I’d tell them why I was running, but, they knew my father because they were cops and he was a cop. So they never would believe that this man they knew would do such a thing, they blew me off as being a bratty child angry about not getting her way over something. They’d knock on my door with me in tow, and say
“Hey (name deleted), (my father, they knew him on a 1st name basis) we found your daughter”! I’d weep uncontrollably, which only fueled his desire to prove to me that he “Said what happened in that household”. He introduced my older sister into prostitution, took her to what we know as a “Cat House” and left her there. I became so desperate to escape from the fear, that I tried to kill myself. I grew up, I didn’t die, Thank goodness that GOD loved me so much to let me live, guess he knew I was stronger then I thought I was. But I certainly live through the pain of the abuse every single day. There’s not any one aspect of my life that isn’t affected by what happened in those 10 years from one degree to another. And yes, I sought help for years, to get through the PTSD and Anorexia, a disease not uncommon in sexual abuse situations. Yes, I took my father to court, when I became an adult and strong enough to face him in court. The court certified it to the grand jury, and that was all I really needed, someone to truly believe me for once, and the judge looked at me and said, I believe you.
So in all of this, I’ve often wondered, could it be possible that Haleigh was being hurt by a family member, or friends that came over to party with the parents, anyone in this scenario and maybe at 5 decided to run? Since Misty was on a binge the days that led up to her disappearance and had many people over there, maybe, little Haleigh, ran, and became lost or worse, was picked up by someone that has nothing to do at all with her parents or family members? Quite possibly someone that isn’t even being thought of as a suspect, saw her that night in her flight to flee the pain, and took her? Sounds so far fetched, I know it does, but believe me, even at 5, you know when you can’t take the pain any longer. No one else seems to be coming to the forefront as a possibility. Just a lot of opinions from a lot of people. However, Sometimes, we can’t see the forest for the trees. This “Forest” may be a complete and total stranger that absolutely no one is even looking into..and the “Trees, would be all of these friends, family members, and known child predictors, that are being so focused on, it’s preventing the search to go beyond the realms of someone outside that circle…there actually could be a transient type person, unassuming in nature, and he may or may not, still be there in Haleighs hometown? Has this avenue been looked into?

Thanks for posting the POA Art. I’m not a contract attorney but from what I can tell, he had full binding power as attorney-in-fact to act on behalf of Continental Heritage Insurance to affix their seal? I’m thinking this gave him the right to pull Snodgrass’s bond without permission?

For the life of me, I can not fathom why Judge Edward Hedstrom would have reversed the ‘No hold Bond’ for this monster. I wonder what other rulings/decisions this wonderful Judge has reversed?
I listened to the BNN Radio Show, I find it interesting that Kim P. is now asking for the focus to be kept on finding Haleigh, in my mind, it was herself and Crystal that took the focus off Haleigh and turned it in to a custody dispute, yet now she pleads for us to keep the focus on Haleigh, what a hypocrite!! I do not like Kim P.
I so wish I’d have been able to call in to the show, I would have liked to have asked Kim P., if Jeremiah Regan would be moving with the HBC also?

Haleighs plight is & should remain in the forefront of any story of missing children on this site .. It is our baby , but I think some discussion on another little child, Adji Desir , could use some of your investigating & some of our questioning..

I can’t see that case having near as many twists & turns as Haleighs case has had .. Maybe you can bring little Adji some justice while we wait for Haleighs ..

Cobra was well within his rights. The POA gave Cobra the right to take down Snodgrass. I hope the girls father gets some time in the cell also.
I know RoseRed made some statements that some may of took offensively, but this topic brings out the anger and frustrations within us all. I get where she is coming from. We need laws to deter these rabid mammals from committing the act of sexual abuse on these children. I can see where she believes that if an animal becomes rabid they euthanize the animals so they cannot infect anyone with their disease. I agree with her that they need to be facing a punishment that is stong enough to deter them from committing the crime. Right now all they have to face is years of free room and board paid by the tax payers and their only worry is that they will become the victim of BIG BUBBA if they drop the soap.
I pray that Crystal is doing well and hope they diagnose her seizers. They are more than likely from stress. I pray for both families. I pray for Haleigh and her safe return. It has now been almost four months and I feel that it is a slim chance that it will be a safe return, but I still have HOPE.
I do not feel Snodgrass had anything to do with Haleighs disappearance. I still feel it lies with the Cumming family due to all of their inconsistent statements. Why would they lie to protect a capital sex offender? I still pray for them any way.
Lets all pray for Nevaehs safe return. She is also five years old. Her mother was actually with a registered sex offender and knew it!! They both failed their polys!! Lets keep her in our prayers. Her mother was also wearing those rose colored sunglasses. Those glasses don’t hide the truth. The truth will come out one way or another.

Well sorry to offend anyone, BUT I feel the same as ROSE RED! If you or someone you know has gone thru anything like that, then I am sure you would understand where she is coming from. Their life is forever ruined! Yes you can get counseling or whatever, BUT that isnt gunna make it go away, NOTHING will ever make it go away, your life is FOREVER ruined. I for one think EVERY CHILD SICKO needs to die a HORRIBLE death!! I dont need a judge or jury to tell me anything, yes I will convict them myself!!! But instead the way things work, we have people like this sicko in this article that gets back out on the street just to do it again, and you can guarantee that he has or has tried. I sickens me to think a judge could let someone as sick as him back out on the same streets that our INNOCENT CHILDREN are. Cant remember who is was who said this judge needs to be fired, but I also agree with that as well. Snodgrass should be locked up FOREVER!!! All of this is just IMO. I have not one ounce of sympathy for ANYONE who does sick shit to a child, they can rot in hell for all I care!!

I wonder if there is a child sex offender ring in Putnam County and some of the Higher ups are involved? Maybe covering up for eachother. It would explain the slap on the wrist some get.
I am not surprised by the actions of the father of the girls…Some sex offender start offending with their own children.
I am still holding out hope that Law Enforcement is doing its job.
Sometime LE knows exactly what happened and what is going on, But they still have to PROVE IT ! They cannot just go and accuse. Once they get their proof they will make an arrest.
I think the law is written to protect the criminal , so they must be very careful and do it right.
I know there are crooked cops , lawyers, clergy, etc…
But in the midst of them all there are great police that work hard to uphold the law and that love kids.These are the folks I pray for.
And I believe Cobra has a great heart for children. But dayummm please Cobra lay off the sweet tea it is makin ya hyper….

In the county I live in(a small county in TN) there was a giant sized poster displayed on the property of a SO stating that he was an SO, the crimes he was charged with, etc. It said “The person who lives here …”(name).. is a SO…etc,more info.
I think this is an excellent way of dealing/publicing the problem people we have around us!

Art, Snodgrass has been cleared as far as Haleigh goes- right? How come it is taking so long to take him to court for the other girls??? Sex O. all have the same story – they are lying or they wanted me… just selfish and sick!!!
It has been proven that there is no cure for sex offenders…If there is,I have not heard…
These women that stick up for them should be ordered to take classes or be charged. Most of them are being groomed, and do not even have a clue that they are going to be apart of ruining a little childs life. The Sex O does not care about you- he just needs you to get his prey…WAKE UP!!
I wish they would set their court dates right away and give them life. They would have to worry about other prisoners finding out what they did, and have to worry about surviving… That should keep them busy….It would be so much better than every parent having to worry about how many Sex O you have moving in your neighborhood, or always figuring out how you are going to make your babies safe.. Years ago, as kids, we could go to the beach or town by ourselves, not lock our doors… so free… not any more… The system is failing us…But we as parents and children lovers should try and come up with different alternatives.. Looking over your shoulder 24/7′s should not be a way of life…

I am beside myself that the law allowed him out on bail. The law is obviously ashamed of it too since they blame a previous administration. I believe in Cobra and what he stands for. I stand and applaud you and sky radio and bnn for hanging on when others have fallen to fear of keeping up on this case. Yes the PSO is keeping tight lipped and I think they hold back from arresting anyone cause they need to build a case first due to the time limits automatically put on them to bring it to trial. Also if they can keep it quiet they think they’ll get further. I disagree, I think they should have told the media information on whats being done and said so that the public who may know things in the case can respond. If theres a lie out there that they tell us about then others involved will come out with the truth of the story. This Snodgrass is the worst and the clasic case of a sexual preditor. The father of these girls too is a preditor in my book as well. This should have been investigated when he went around the center and new charges brought out for violation of his bond. This was the only means in which he could visit where children were and mock the system as he did it and not just once. I’m sure he got a big laugh out of it. I don’t know the rules and boundries for public places or if the center would fall under that but parents and residents should be very aware of his face and his crime he’s accused of. Flyers should have been all over the place on him. But he’s been cleared in connection to Haleigh so what do we do but look else where. Now the whole thing is being lost to the public awareness and even the family is moving on as I’m sure their forced to needing to work and such. It’s a shame a child is having to live the hard life of a broken home, but to have that broken status interfere with the ability of being found is even sadder. It’s a hard knock life, I know. Please keep searching and investigating and supporting the ones who have Haleigh first in their lives. We can sit and judge these families and that helps keep the attention of the case out here, but lets never lose the heart of it and that’s finding her. Investigating the situation, the surounding people, and the ones closest to her. They’re gonna make a mistake when they think it’s all over and they can live again. Someone will talk to someone and that someone will expose the whole thing and little Haleigh will be able to come home. Even if it is to come home to a war and maybe a new home. It’s a hard knock life.

Thank you for your kind words, they mean so much to me. I do hope that there is someone out there that now knows they aren’t alone. My Greatest hope is for those that have focused on only a limited few, in this very sad scenario, to maybe now begin to look past those “trees” and into the “Forest”(other people outside the “family and friends”). Which may lead them to begin to look around at the vast amount of people capable of bringing harm to Haleigh and never even knowing her name when this all began. Maybe, just maybe, If the focus is taken off the “obvious” in everyone’s mind, the truth can be found. That’s my hope Art, that’s my prayer, that’s my only reason for opening up, So that maybe someone, somewhere, can look past the trees and into the forest. God Bless You Art, and all of those whose very hearts are being torn apart in the loss of this little baby girl.

A note to Kim P.
To Kim I would say that this Does Not take the focus off of Haleigh, but quite the contrary it MAGNIFIES it. Personly it angered me the way Nancy Grace treated you on her show. You didnt deserve it. Publicity is what Haleigh needs. I use to watch her every night but as a result of this, she has lost a faithful viewer, and I’m not the only one. Kim I feel that you were trying to save Ron Jr. and find Haleigh. I can’t figure out why people would think you are stirring muddy waters by asking for Junior. Haleigh was abducted on Misty’s watch. We now know that Misty doesnt keep a close eye on those kids and in fact the word is that she leaves them alone quite regularly. Misty needs to go to JAIL for a very long time. Theres no excuse. I listened to Simon’s show on Sunday and heard you on there Kim and alot of questions in my mind were answered pertaining as to why you were going about things the way you are. I am referring to the fact that you are going through the Child Protective Services…you gave us some back-ground and history and it paints a clearer picture. Thanks for clearing that up. I hope that somehow you are able to accomplish what you set out to do originally and that is help Haleigh and Ronald Jr. have a safer and happier child-hood. I know they love their Dad Ronald and he them, but his choice of picking Misty as a baby-sitter aka step-mom endangered them, now Haleigh is missing. THATS the bottom line. In my opinion they need to go back to Crystal their Mom. Thanks for fighting for her and the kids. Wish it didnt come to that, but it has and Haleigh and Junior have paid the price….a piece of their child-hood they can’t get back and memories that will last a life-time. Rose Red, The bastard that killed my baby got life plus 15 years.He should have got the death penalty! He is currently in prison but he could still be paroled out. I made him a promise when I got to speak at his sentencing that if I am alive when he gets out I WILL BE WAITING!I promised as long as I am living he will never get the chance to hurt another child. If they get out of prison they always reoffend. He molested and killed my baby and then buried him with a dead pig on his mothers farm. He had killed the pig and told his mother it died ,thereby explaining the makeshift grave.If you were me would you sit back and do nothing when he gets out?Our justice system should never let these bastards have a second chance on the outside and I am against holding them in prison. Bastards who do this evil deserve to die a slow torchering death. I stand on this,and will never change my mind.Why should our tax dollars house these scumbags? I say execute them all and let God sort them out!

PS COBRA, I’m behind you 100%. I hope everyone realizes YOU are one of the GOOD GUYS. This is your specialty and I somehow think Haleigh is engraved on the tablets of your heart, Take care and please be extra careful. Your own kids must feel like they are 10 feet tall with a Dad like you. You must make them so proud. Thanks for all you are doing. You took a bullet for Haleigh but I hope it gets deflected just like Supermans. Just bounced off your chest.You and ART make quite a team together. Art, Sorry I just can’t get past this: I just don’t understand Heritage Insurance and Cobra and the ‘he said, they said’-
1. Why would the Heritage company DENY that Cobra had their authorization to ‘arrest all clients’ if Cobra had a copy of the POA? What is Heritage’s stand now that there IS a POA/authorization?
So-
Why did Cobra have to return Snodgrass home, and go to jail? I would think COBRA WOULD BE PRESSING CHARGES?
2. Also, don’t understand why Cobra would travel and engage in the course of business/revoke bail, without his important Working Papers?
3. Art, you said in your response #28, that the POA ‘expired’ approx March 25, I didn’t actually see an expiration date, didn’t think POA’s ‘expired’, do they expire & the expiration frequency?

I’m so sorry you had to go through something like this in you life, especially in you childhood. I think you are right on with your interpretation of what could have happen . God only knows who was with this child, what she might have been hiding. Look at the people around this child and it makes you sick. Child molester everywhere.
Don’t get me wrong I am not saying I think Ronald did this to Haleigh. But I do believe that she was not protected by the people who should haved loved her and keep her safe. I wish I could just give you a great big hug and tell you . I ‘m sorry for your disapointment’s in life.

Well everyone has their oppion so here is mine………Why was Sondgrass so defencees about talking to Cobra!!!!!!!!
Was haleigh in his house? Did Misty trade her for some drugs scents she was comming down off of a week end binge.
Something dont sound right.I heard that Snodgrass was a friend of her and Ronalds.He would know when Ronald went to work and if its true about misty?Good O boy Marty could have slip in and took her.I dont feel haleigh was aware of any thing going on ,and she could not feel fear.Its Got to be some ome down their that knows the lay of the land.She could have been moved several times that nite and then brought back after the search.Im sure they searched Snodgress house
,So maybe Haleigh was at his house when Cobra pull up.That would be one reason to be up set.Like hey what am im going to do ????? I can’t tell you how disturbing this article was for me to read, but the truth needed to be told. It happens more often than people know and it happens everyday. Thank god the crimminal justice system takes action these days against these people if they are found guilty. It’s the only peace of mind that a victim gets. I’m just surprised that LE didn’t arreast Snodgras for even being around the Haleighbug Center in the first place. Still makes me wonder if he isn’t involved here somehow cause these creeps always seem to want to come back and help out after they’ve committed a crime. I, too, thought I read something about Misty being friends with Snodgras but I don’t know anymore where I read it. I really believe that Misty knows what happened that night, but who to say she wasn’t threated by Haliegh’s abductor(s) if she talked. Cobra said that he has been threatened by some of the locals if he doesn’t leave. I think Misty is too terrified to say anything and I’m not a fan of Misty’s by any sense of the word. Just a gut feeling. Again, great article Art and thanks for all you do to report on Haleigh. We just need to find her safe and sound.

Nichole, about the BNN thing, I tried to go on it 2 nights ago and it would not let me log in. I thought they had just banned me because I don’t agree with their point of view, anyway the same thing happened to me and my laptop has not worked since. Needless to say I’m on my desktop and I am afraid to go to any site but Arts and Topix. I hope it did not fry your computer as it did mine but thanks for warning everyone about it. I just seen on NG where they think they have found little 5 yr old Navah in a river, possibly tied to a cement block.. All I could think about was not only Navah, but where is Haleigh… how cruel some people are in this world… This should be making Misty go in and spill her guts.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE SOME OF THESE PARENTS WAKE UP???? I think Navah’s mother was well groomed by her boyfriend… To think what her boyfriend George did in the past, is in the past… It does not work that way.

Thanks for the great, yet also upsetting article.
As a parent, it angers me that Satsuma LE are so lax about Snodgrass being in the presence of young children at the Haleigh Bug Center. It’s scary to think that Snodgrass, with his history, could easily ignore the rules and get away with it. Meanwhile, LE just shrugs their shoulders. Thank god some adult, Cobra, cares enough to do something about it.
I also agree that Snodgrass’s visits to Haleighbug Center are suspect, given that perpetrators do often get a thrill in revisiting the “scene of the crime”, so to speak.
In light of the power of attorney and LE presence at the takedown, I think it’s incredible that Cobra was ever jailed. I think the judge at Cobra’s hearing should throw out the charges and make Snodgrass and Snodgrass’s slimeball attorney pay for Cobra’s attorney fees.

Cobra is a good PI and it is good he tells it like it is with Crystal and that she does do drugs. Before I wondered why Cobra if he good investigator never notice Crystal has a drug addiction. I think maybe Cobra not wanna say so because Lawyer Kim would not allow him to say such.
Fact is Crystal does use drugs. Crystal has a my space and before Haleigh went missing Crystal always tell on her my space about how she partied with Pot or Cocaine. Chad also drinks to much and then he drives home from the bar after he has been drinking. So I just think that when people decide where to put Bubba Junior they need to remember the reason Crystal lost her custody. I agree with Cobra that Theresa should have custody of Junior. Either Theresa or Connie and Marty.

Would Kim Picazio be willing to share with you or Simon Barrett all 6 documents that she showed Nancy Grace’s producers? I’d be curious to see if they do show inconstancies in Ronald’s statements, as she claims.
2) Re: Marty, Snodrass’s shirtless housemate in the video -
Given Snodgrass’s roommate Marty does not appear to wear a GPS ankle bracelet and given Snodgrass’s history of having others (his ex-wife) procure underage girls for him to molest, I hope LE is taking a hard look at Marty’s whereabouts the evening Haleigh went missing.
In my mind, there are 4 main suspects in Haleigh’s disappearance: Misty, Ron, Snodgrass & Snodgrass’s housemate Marty.
Art, do we know if Snodgrass or Marty ever visited friends in Ron’s trailer park?
Also, do we know if LE has an alibi for Marty?

Unless one has been a victim, one really doesn’t know the scars us victims carry throughout our whole lives. I’m 54 years old now, but I was 4-1/2 years old when my father molested me and even still today I’m haunted by what he did to me. We need more laws in place to insure these people who commit these kinds crimes don’t get back out on the street to do it again. They shouldn’t be let out period. What is really disturbing is all the sex offenders that have been let out of jail and now live amongst us. They are all over. As I stated in my earlier blog…the only peace of mind that a victim has is to know their preditor is put behind bars and not getting out. My heart goes out to anyone who has ever been a victim of any of these crimes. Thank you Cobra for trying to protect the innoscent ones, but you shouldn’t have had to pay a price for it and end up in jail yourself. Our laws need to be changed. Just bring Haleigh home safe and sound!

The year on it appears to be 2008. I do not see a expiration date on it. I read (May or may not be correct) that it can be set to expire after a specific task has been performed or when ever the parties involved want it to expire, and that it can last a lifetime if that’s what the parties agree to. My guess is that their should be more documents which have the expiration date on it.

What is going on with Judge Edward Hedstroms reversing Sndograsses bond??? He would have been tried by now, and we would not have to wonder why he was at the Haleighbug, or if he is going to hit on another child…
I feel Judge Hedstrom owes the public a reason….
I don’t think this GPS bracelet has kept our children 100% safe. I think of those two little girls and the hell they went through with his selfishness… It makes me SICK…. Where is that Judges head??? What if it was his OWN KIDS???

RE: Criminal Cases against Bondsman 'Sam Jochananov'
I am a single father of small children, I am a School Teacher and a Mechanical Engineer and was out on a Misdemeanor bond for a false Misdemeanor case 3 years ago. The case was over long, long ago and I am expecting a settlement.
However, Sam Jochananov (bondsman) Criminally invited violent men on private property to attack me as I was coming home in my 3-piece Oscar de la Renta Suit. I suffered multiple injuries, trauma, & damaged property by Sam Jochananov and his Criminal cohorts. **ALSO – he brought illegally trespassing 'Camera Men' whom were repeatedly ordered away from the Water-Front property -to no avail** -which constitutes possible FELONY charges for video voyerism because they continued to trespass and take illegal video footage AFTER they acknowledged they had trespassed and refused to leave (!!!) They are WANTED CRIMINALS! – but Sam Jochananov apparently still won't cooperate with the Police 3 years later.
What does a good, honest single-Father do to put Sam Jochananov and his Criminal friends behind bars when you own police dept. botched the case years ago???
