my BFF’s grandma is a really GREAT cook and I can get lots of receipes from her to share!!

this is Destiny’s BFF -Terita – Grandma’s Shepherds Pie Recipe

1 1/2 lbs ground round beef
1 onion chopped
1-2 cups vegetables – grandma uses carrots, corn, peas
1 1/2 – 2 lbs potatoes – or as grandma says 3 big ones
1 stick butter
1/2 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
salt, pepper, other seasonings of choice

peel and boil potatoes about 20 mins

crumble ground beef in large frying pan and cook and drain off fat

melt 1/2 a stick butter in large frying pan add chopped onions in butter until tender, medium heat about 10 mins

add carrots in with the onions

add ground beef to this pan with onions and carrots then add corn, peas or other veggies

add salt, pepper or other seasonings to taste

add worcesterchire sauce. add half a cup of beef broth and cook, uncovered, over low heat for 10 minutes, adding more beef broth as necessary to keep moist – grandma said dont let it dry out

while this is cooking mash potatoes and use remaining stick of butter – grandma says as you usually make mash potatoes

put beef onion veggie mixture in baking dish
put mashed potatoes on top – grandma says rough it up with fork so it browns nice

cook in oven @ 400 degrees for 30 mins
grandma says until bubbly and if you want it a little brown on top put under broil a few mins
