Art, I was right there with ya. Great show. You are doing a wonderfull job keeping the focus on Haleigh. Hey Art, you look better on TV every time I see you. I think I’m falling in love. LOL Don’t worry, I’m a grandma thats been married for over 30 years to my High School Sweetheart, He has looks and brains, & a passionate heart too. Anyway, thanks for the good work in bringing her home and keeping us updated. Hope you and Cobra stay on team. It is so sad the Crystal is getting all the donations and Ron is out of money. I believe it that Crystal is getting all the donations. I think that was what all this was about. Under the law she was not even supposed to get help.
It was supposed to be for the family Haleigh lived with and was set up because Ron could not work. I think she got mad she could not be on the account and then she hired a public relations person (who does that when their kid is missing)
It is a damn shame. I think I will send Ron some money. Just because so many people say they have sent Crystal so much money. Like one out of 20 sent some to Ron, the rest say the sent it to Crystal. Lots of large groups have said they sent her thousands. It is wrong. Sorry but she did not work so what does she have to pay for.
But people still should not say she took Haleigh. Both parents I think are innocent of that.

Sooooooo-is Jerome still in jail-he was transferred to another county, right? I hope he stays there for a long time and then goes to prison. He can’t be too smart-trading drugs for stolen goods-you would think by now he would know it was a set up. If so, what are Amber and Nay Nay doing w/out their protector..uh, I mean pimp? Did they find another one? It wouldn’t surprise me if Misty traded sex for drugs during her White Boy Greg weekend and it wasn’t the first time. A lot of addicts do that-give the goods for the goods. IMO, all 3 of the girls more than likely do that. So sad, so very sad. I wish they would’ve taken the help to clean up when it was offered.

Ron is a dirty dog, can’t find a job? Has anyone bothered to tell Ron that getting a job requires getting off your duff and actually working? Why won’t he do a ding dang thing to help find Haleigh? He could be doing the same kind of work as Crystal is, yet word from the locals is he doesn’t put much effort in anything he does. If he tried to look for a job the way he looks for his dope, maybe then he’d luck out and find a good job. When will the DCF take Jr away from this monster? Where is the outcry? For months we saw the locals rally and picket outside the Anthony’s home, why doesn’t anyone do that to Ronald and his childbride, Misty? FGS, what’s it going to take to shake down that town and find Haleigh? I feel like we are watching a show from a third world country, is this place really located in the States? Sure doesn’t seem like it. Schauland just gave an interview to the gainesville press, he said “Life goes on” WTF? I say that le needs to be investigated yesterday! Thank you again for all you do and for keeping Haleigh in the spotlight, ’cause it sure doesn’t seem like anyone down there gives a rip, especially le. I’m afraid we’ll never know where Haleigh went, that is a very sad thought! Please take a look at this video and tell me what you think. Thanks Art!

Do you know when Misty Croslin Cummings will be 18? If police arrested her now for any reason wouldn’t she be put into a Juvenile Detention Facility because she is under age?
Just curious. I am not sure if that is how the law works in Florida.

You might want to ask what excuse Ron’s lawyers use for Ronald and company not to attend any of the vigils offered that day, like the Duckett vigil? There were no Anthony’s there. What a lazy bum, what doesn’t he have an excuse for? Everything is always someone elses fault, never Ronalds fault. Find Haleigh!!! And a petition has been started to demand le focus their time on finding Haleigh and quit making excuses like shauland did with “Life goes on” which he stated to the Gainesville interview. Who is this guy? Does he give a rip that a 5 year old little girl is still missing after 3 long months? Where is the urgency in this case and finding little Haleigh? That department is corrupt! OMG Art! I sure wish I could be on to voice my opinion to those wack job lawyers who are advising Ronald to make a damn fool of himself by making such a ridiculous statement! What is wrong with them! First of all, these are grieving grandparents who have lost their granddaughter to a brutal murder that maybe (remember that presumption of innocence we get to enjoy until we are tried in a court of law???) losing their daughter as well. The only way they have been able to help themselves cope with the grief of this act is to do some good by helping other families who have had children go missing. How in the world can an attorney in their right mind be advising their client that it is okay to make a video plea for people to look for his daughter and the next day a press release saying ‘everyone except for George and Cindy Anthony” I could not believe my eyes when I read that story on one of Florida’s news stations yesterday. What were they thinking?? First off, how dare them decide who Ronald should want to allow to help him in his time of need or search for his daughter and second, how dare they judge the Anthony’s and determine that they know what it is they are supposedly doing. It cannot be an easy thing for them to do, so whatever agenda this yo-yo thinks they have, who cares…..they are trying to support this family (The Cummings and Sheffields) in a way that no one could understand what it feels like except people like them who have walked in the same shoes. If you think Ronald had haters before, wait until they get wind of that! No one said the cases were alike. What the heck does that have to do with supporting and helping to find his daughter. They act like the Anthony’s did something wrong or had something to do with their own grandbaby’s disappearance when in fact they are just hurting, greiving grandparents. For goodness sakes what is going on with this world and the people in it. They must have lost their minds totally. He should be welcoming the Anthony’s and anyone else that is willing to support and help him at this point with open arms. Do you Art, or anyone else here agree with that, or am I just crazy? This has me angry! Everyone thinks the Anthony’s are on a media tour to support their daughter….so what….wouldn’t all of you with children do the same darn thing (support your child no matter what)….I believe the answer is yes…but I can’t imagine that this has anything at all to do with wanting to reach out and help search and offer support to other families who are going through the same painful experience of dealing with the disappearance of a child, no matter what the end result is. To me that is incredible that his so called smart and honorable attorney would advise him that this is okay to act this way. I am just appalled by it. It’s disgusting if you ask me! Let’s all be picky now when deciding whose help we want to find our missing child….OMG! Very interested in hearing your feeling on this one Art!

I think this was the “excuse”, rather than a real objection. It covered their butt for not being there. I saw when the Anthony’s first came there (George) and there was no objection. After the bru-ha-ha over them not showing up for the virgil the other day, they had to find a scape goat. As always, just my own opinion.
Has ANYONE SEEN MISTY LATELY? Anybump showing? Really would like to know as it would lend validity to some past remarks.

I gotta give it to you. I saw you tonight on JVM and was impressed by your understanding of Ron’s statements about Anthony’s involement. I myself don’t share your thoughts on this though.
In my opinion, this was just a scam. Another scam of his. He just trying to bark at Crystal from a distance about being at this rally with Anthonys. The rally he did not attend. And all the bull about he didn’t know is exactly that. I don’t live in that state yet I knew about it. He doesn’t watch news or read the paper I guess. Thinking his daughter is missing I would think he would do at least that. The Anthonys are getting a very bad rap here. They still are victims. People say we don’t know what its like, and we don’t. Ron changes his times, blames Misty for everything, marries her, does not search or attend vigils but he wants this fact to be known about his feelings hiding out in that bunker of his grandmothers.
Sorry Art. I know I am being little cold and bitchy. I just have lost my sympathy for Ron. His actions and words don’t match.
I went to my little girl’s school ceremony for 1st grade. She was student of the year and I was so proud of her. But all I could think is about Haleigh.
Haleigh won’t see 1st grade.
Haleigh doesn’t have her parents standing beside her.
Haleigh just has a dad standing behind his lawyers wanting pity card instead of pulling out all stops to find her.

Great job Art. It is still not to good to see Kim on JVM giving Crystals side. I think most of us see why Ronald wouldn’t show up with the Anthonys. He is totally heartbroken and I’m afraid going into a depression. Ronald if you read this we are praying for you and hoping Haleigh will be home with you soon. We see the tears Crystal sheds is hoping people will donate her some more money. I think that is terrible myself.

Wow, lots of fireworks and crossover talk tonight! Personally I thought Jane did a great job on this one, lots of airtime and between the clips she chose to show and the panel opinions, certainly all POV’s were covered.
Don’t think Lisa Bloom is really on top of the “rocks” and “swiss cheese” problem, with her comment “she’s a victim right now.” Sorry Lisa, Misty’s the problem, Haleigh’s the victim!
Anyway great show, nice job Art, you got your points across. Bummer to hear you confirm so little is breaking though, sure wish something would…!

Hi Art Right on the money, as usual. At least you got to talk longer this time.
As for Ron dissing the Anthony’s for showing up at Haleigh’s vigil –I think it’s the first decent thing I’ve seen him do on this case.
But, good on Ron (for this at least). The Anthony’s should not be around decent people –especially families of “real” missing children.
They just found a woman’s body in the Des Plains river, which is near Stacy Peterson’s and Lisa Stebic’s homes. We can only pray this isn’t somebody new -but one of them, to give their families a chance for a decent burial and closure.
All in all, Art, if Haleigh is going to get justice, a lot of the credit has to go to you and your buddy, Cobra. You make a good team and you both get people to talk to you whose stories would otherwise never get out.

Great show!!! I was very surprised that Ron would take that tone with the *missing children vigil* just because the Anthonys were there too. I thought this vigil was to bring attention to the many missing children? I would think any media atttention is better than none. It was just puzzling to me.I’m not sure what to make of it? I was glad to see you on the JVM show… I still think you need your own TV show. Thanks for your efforts!!

I personally would not want the Anthonys involved in anything to do with this!If it was my daughter missing I would not want them to even say my name!They are out there in t.v land trying to save the person that murdered their grandaughter I think it’s sick and they need to focus on their stupidity somewhere else!They are not helping this case at all!

I think the Anthonys are both crazy they are smart to keep the Anthonys away!Good looking out Ron…your daughter is missing….obviously they arent very good at looking for missing people seems that way since their granddaughter was missing for 30 days before the police were called and their daughter who is accused of killing her was out stripping and drugging the whole 30 days and they think she is innocent!

It’s so sad to say but I think the Anthony’s are looking for another way to make a quick buck. It’s one thing to not turn your back on your children, but yet another thing to uphold them in murder. I think the Anthony’s know soooooooo much more than they are saying, Cindy is protecting and poor George is scared to death of Cindy. Art I agree with Debbie, you and Cobre are doing a wonderful job, I know God will reicly bless you for all you both are doing. If you can reply where are you located.

Once again i was watching interveiws and i really believe Ron did something to Haleigh and Misty knows what happend but is covering for Ron.IMO Ron is using Misty.She has him by the balls in other words he married her so she wouldn’t tell.
This child was hurt or whatever before Ron went to work and i believe he went to work to make things look normal.

Cadaver dogs hit on Casey Anthonys car which was soaked with bodily fluids from a decomposing body & strands of hair which were found to be likely Caylees hair due to comparison of some science & they had the “Death Band” signs on them..

I SAW RON ON GRETA BACK IN FEB.AND MSTY WAS TELLING THE SCRIPT AS IF HALEIGH WERE IN THE SAME BED WITH HER.SHE MADE A MISTAKE AND SAID HALEIGH WAS 4INCHES FROM HER,RON HURRIED AND INTERUPTED THAT. IRRITATED AND FACE RED!!!MISTY WILL GET TIRED OF CARRYING THIS LOAD.RON THINKS HE’S SO SMART.

I agree with the Cummings camp, the Anthony’s had no place at the vigil….Caylee Anthony was never “missing”…altho’ Cindy wants to believe she is, knowing she isn’t…Missing children should not be Cindy’s agena…Murdered children is more fitting…Of course, I suppose she and George can do whatever they want…

Personally, I see this as a fairly smart move, not wishing to associate with the Anthony’s. I was supportive of the grandparents of Caylee for some time, but I do see their actions as being rehearsed now and inappropriate before.
My question is WHY is Ronald accepting advice NOW I’m assuming to rehabilitate himself in the public eye??

Been looking at some old videos of Ron and Misty interviews. In one of them, the one in which Misty tells her story about what happened the night she discovered Haleigh missing, with her mother sitting beside her, Misty tells of washing Haleigh’s blanket. Then she says her (Misty’s) blanket “was in the van they took.” What van, and who took it? I remember Misty saying something about her car having been moved and having a large scratch on it that wasn’t there before. Is this the van she was referring to? What happened to the blanket, and why did she find it necessary to bring it up? Why did it matter if the blanket was in the van that someone took if the van was there when she washed the blankets? Apparently, if she is to be believed, she didn’t know that someone had taken the van and later returned it during the night until after Haleigh went missing. Is Misty unwittingly revealing something by attempting to explain why a blanket was missing from the home? Am I missing something?

I think he is right, the Anthony’s do not have a missing child and never did.
Crystal is making a bundle and Ron has to work odd jobs for 20 bucks? Makes me sick to my stomach.

Thanks to you & JVM for keeping Haleigh in the spotlight.
A couple of questions for you…,
1) Cobra stated in his 5/17/09 interview with Simon Barrett that Kim Picazio now wants Cobra out of Satsuma and off the case. Do you agree with Cobra’s assertion and if so, what do you think Kim Picazio’s motive(s) may be?
2) On Simon Barrett’s BNN website, bloggers are circulating a rumor that within the past few days, Misty lost her temper and slapped Junior on the head while they were inside a local health clinic.
– Have your sources confirmed /denied this incident?
– Have your sources witnessed any incidents of Misty losing her temper with Haleigh/Junior and becoming physically abusive?

I’ve learned that I believe nothing is as it may seem, or may appear in rumor form, until I’m able to talk first hand to all the players and find other witnesses who back them up or shoot them down, factor in motive, and agenda, and their record of veracity with me and others…What often emerges after such digging and weighing — a picture that is more gray than black and white. Then the question, in this case, what does it have to do with advancing the investigation? With a passion to find out what happened to this little girl, I prefer to spend the limited amount of time I have on relevant probing.

Merilee–The blue van that I saw, owned by the Croslins, that Misty and others drove, had a big scratch down the left side … The Croslins showed us, early on, when I followed Cobra to their house. The van was dusty on the outsidein, with the forensic powder still not all over the interior. It had just come out of police storage.

Phyliss–A family friend tells me Ronald is in a terrible funk, as anyone would be–a daughter no one can dispute he adored, is missing; he’s having a hard time finding work, and had to work the other day for hours to net $20, after gas. How well he and Misty are getting along, hard to tell. Frankly, he could use a media coach; his video pitch to bring Haleigh home did not project the empathy or heartache others tell me he’s feeling. His lawyers did him on favor approving that performance, done more in deposition style that a human response to a sympathetic questioner. We’re happy to give him and his family time if they’d like to revisit anything. A friend is relaying this to his Mom.

I did not re-post yours because it is too long and most of your facts are wrong. Have you read all of the data released via the Sunshine Law? I have and the Anthony’s should be in jail next to their daughter for, destroying evidence, Obstructing Justice and Lying to Law Enforcement.
The reason they wanted the Sheffield’s there was to further their cause to make money off of their murdered granddaughters name. Crystal Sheffield is doing the same thing, except, I do not believe Haleigh is deceased. You know what they say about birds of a feather.
I would not want to be near the Anthony’s. They are not mourning or in denial. They are making their livelihood off of Caylee,a beautiful 2 year old murdered baby and have been from the get go. All IMO and facts, of course. Be well.

Art-Of course Ron Cumming’s would be in a “funk”, I love you to death and I am a new fan but as far as this case the coverage has been very one sided. I understand it is because even if Crystal heaves boulders Ron won’t throw pebbles. I believe that is because he cares about Haleigh.
He made some huge mistakes that is true. Like getting married. But right away he tried to correct that by going on the Today Show and what did people do? Who wouldn’t be in a funk? He lost his child, while working a 12 hour shift at a labor intensive job trying to support her. Crystal could not pay her support and apparently nobody in her family could help with that. His character has been totally assassinated on national television and like Mark Klass said he can’t fight back. Not if he wants Haleigh to remain the focus. He has lost his job. Crystal who could not pay her support and did not seem all that interested in these kids is trying to take his son away. Kim Picazio and Cobra have rode into town to gain fame and get on every news show they can spreading lies.
How much can one person take????????????????????????????
This to me shows what kind of people we have in this wonderful county of ours. Ron Cumming’s has lost or stands to loose everything. 90% to 95% support Crystal. Why?
She did not even know when her kid went to school. She could have found that out very easily as the child’s mother.
She tried to pretend she would not know why Haleigh would miss school and did not tell NG that Haleigh had Turner’s
(which lowers immunity), medications taken for Turner’s cause easy bruising. But no mention of that when they turned a playground accident into abuse.
Why do you only put this in comments Art. Why not put it in your story. Before something happens that those who have a heart will regret when they realize Ron Cumming’s was at work.
I wonder how some people sleep at night.

undone plot- did it ever occur to you that Misty may not know the difference between inches and feet and that was why she was corrected? She did not know what numerical meant? It seemed to me like Ron did not want people to start saying she was lying again because clearly in the videos shown of the home the bed was about four feet away.
People would start saying if she was four inches away how come Misty did not wake up? Maybe she meant four feet but said inches or maybe she does not know her measurements.
I am glad I did not donate to Cobra because he is telling stories every chance he gets.

If Ron and Misty would straighten out their timeline and be honest, Haleigh might be found. Also People would send them money to get by on.
When Ron picked up his paycheck (If he did), Why didn’t he check in with his boss as to why he couldn’t come back to work yet? If that is the reason he lost his job, not calling in, maybe he was just to busy, Getting married, going to fair, moving out of trailer, and looking for Haleigh… He has controlled his world of all teanny bopper girls , mother and grama… Where are the men in his life, like a father figure? I don’t hate Ron , but hate the disrespect he has for females. Misty was the babysitter for Ron and Amber, and you can’t help but build monsters and think that if misty has a baby, will the next babysitter be his next 14 or 15 yr old child. Another childs life ruined…. It seems like he has lots of anger and hate in him and he has these women thinking he rules all, and he would due them in if they turn on him. I just hope I’m wrong. He will not get help because he has never admitted any faults. Ron your baby is missing, Please get inconsistancies to the point of nothing but truth, and be a voice for Haleigh….The judge would have never gave you the children if he knew that you were going to leave them with a drug attic child 24/7’s….

Air time will not help Ron. We have seen him interviewed after getting tatts. He was smug and arrogant when he said to the reporter, ” I can’t do what I want to do without a camera in my face and here it is again”. There was a major search going on when he was getting tattoos. He did not look like the concerned father of a missing child.
Haleigh was missing approx. 31 days when we saw Ron marry a 17 year old child that cannot keep her story straight and will not tell the police the truth. The very person that was responsible for Haleigh the night she disappeared. Getting married at that time looks real bad on him.
On the day he was getting married in Granny Sykes back yard, there was a huge search going on for Haleigh. While Ronald Cummings was eating wedding cake the public that he NOW wants sympathy from was watching search teams beat the bushes for his little girl.
At that time Ron was rolling in donation money. And we saw what he did with that money.
The public does not want to see Ron on video talking. The public wants to see Ron doing something to help in the search for Haleigh. The public wants Ron and Misty to tell the truth. They can start by going to law enforcement and giving truthful statements regarding the events that lead up to Haleigh’s disappearance.
The public cares about Haleigh. I, for one, DO NOT care about Ronald Cummings. He created the public’s opinion of him. I seriously doubt public opinion of him will change no matter what he does now.
And tell the family friend to tell Ron that the message he sent to the public with that ridiculous “Only God Can Judge Me” sign on his truck has been received and with the receipt of that message all sympathy is gone.

Art: Keep up the good work, but I am off of this board. It has become a place to fight and hate. Attacking the Anthony’s like the people on here are gators waiting to eat someone. I hope the Anthonys realize there are people that care about them and know what they must be going through.

I agree with Ron Cummings that the Anthony’s have NO place in his daughter’s case.
They have NO business representing any “missing” case especially a child’s abduction.
Caylee Anthony was NEVER missing. Her mother knew exactly where she was the whole time.
I support Ron in his outrage about the Anthony’s insertion and pray everyday that his daughter is found.
And Ron if you are reading this, I want you to know that there are a lot of good people praying for Haleigh and you are not alone. You never have been.
We all want your daughter found. LE is there to serve and protect your daughter. Let them do their jobs without holes in the timeline. If they can rule you and yours out they can move on quickly to the person who took your child.

Just because Ronald has a missing child doesn’t mean he is obligated to be an advocate for the cause ..
Imagine YOUR CHILD was missing, 3+ months, NO Obvious leads or direction in the case , the only direction fingers are being pointed is in your direction, your ex has launched an investigation in to whether you are a fit parent to keep your remaining child,… The sibling to your child that is missing & you probably see alot of your missing child in them..

It is amazing to me the “Job” LE and the press did on public opinion in the Caylee Anthony case. Nearly all of the comments about the mother and her family are that she killed the baby and her parents helped in some way. After all, LE “said so” in what they implied through “sources close to the investigation” and selective releasing of documents.
Why even have a trial? Thank god we don’t have lynch mobs anymore or they all would have been strung up by now. People need to learn to think instead of being blindly led!
But then again, look what the power of the press did in getting an unknown (barely) senator elected to our highest office. Once again, people need to learn to think for themselves and base their decisions/actions on FACTS.

Art-I truly beleive that Ron is probably depressed who would’nt be?I hope the family will be able to heal..and that Haleigh is safely returned to her father…I find it hard to even try to imagine how I would react,feel if I was in this situation…If I was greiving and people were going off what one of my exes said about me…and judging me not for how I supported my kids loved hugged and adored my child but just by what someone who hates me said about me..someone who lived 2+hrs away someone who owes me money for child support!!!I would be pissed off..Why is Ron looked at so badly?he has made some questionable choices but not anything like Crystal and Kim P portrayed about beatings with sticks,and belts…I just can sympathize..I would be having a hard time too!

If my daughter were missing, you couldn’t put me in the same room with the Anthony’s. I’m GLAD he say “no way”! Behind Casey Anthony, they are the most hated people in America right now. I’m no Ron fan, but not being able to pay the bills, your daughter is missing, can’t feed your son, we have no idea what he is going through. Probably fighting with Misty over money. Probably majorly depressed.
Whatever his little wife knows, he needs to get it out of her and he needs to come forward with ANYTHING he thinks about Haleigh being gone. And to whoever has Haleigh, please just let her come home. Drop her off somewhere safe and drive away as fast and as far as you can. Time for the game to be over. Time to get this little girl home.

I normally just read here, but felt compelled to comment on a few things today.
re: Undone Plot’s post, you say that you felt Misty was tripped up in the interview and Ron corrected her with FACE RED (as you put it) when she misspoke about the bed being 4 inches away. I completely saw something different in that interview. I too just recently viewed that clip and noticed that Misty not only made the mistake of saying she was 4 inches from Haley, but went on to try and explain how far away the bed was and how far she was from the door. All of her statements were wrong, anyone could see that, but I didn’t see that Ron was FACE RED, nor was he irritated in the way you claim. It was easy to see that he was quite annoyed, but simply because she had no clue what she was talking about, as far as distance is concerned. The problem wasn’t that she was lying in that particular instance, but that she not only sounded ignorant, but highly uneducated as well. I still believe he was correcting her because he knows the difference between 4 inches and 4 feet, not only that, he knew on average the distances that were being asked of Misty, all of which were answered incorrectly, only to be corrected by him, simply because he knew the answer and she didn’t.
I also wanted to comment on the person that asked Art his opinion on Ron’s attorney putting out the statement that Ron didn’t want the Anthony’s involved, to which the poster on here added that it was a ridiculous thing to do, not only that, he (Ron) should be grateful for any help. Are you kidding me? I think it was one of the smartest things I’ve heard the attorney’s, or anyone from Ron’s camp say thus far.
The Anthony’s situation was quite different from Ron’s or any missing children’s cases. It was quoted on wftv’s website that MANY child advocate groups do NOT want any help or ANYTHING to do with the Anthony’s. They feel that the A’s have caused all the work these advocate groups have done to be set back, because they feel the A’s actions caused people to stop donating to the cause, not only that, could cause a drop in attendance at advocate meetings, assuming that everyone acts and feels the way the A’s do. One mother of a murdered child went on to say that she wouldn’t want them anywhere near her organization, because the A’s story is not only NOT about a missing child, but their actions are not those of a concerned parent/g-parent. She also wanted to ask the A’s if they feel Casey didn’t do it, then why aren’t they out looking for the real killer, not only that, she felt as though all the A’s ever want to do on camera is complain about their own problems, :ie weight loss, loss of sleep, or complain of Casey being a victim in this saga. There are MANY people that feel the A’s shouldn’t be involved with missing children, as Caylee was never missing, but murdered at the hands of her own mother. I understand your point of Casey being innocent until proven otherwise, but it’s obvious to anyone that she did it.
I want to add also, you claim that anyone would react the way the A’s are, pertaining to the fact they are standing behind their daughter. I completely disagree. If my daughter had killed my g-child, I would expect her to be punished just as if anyone else had done it. I’m not saying I wouldn’t be in court for her, and I would still love her, but I would expect she be tried and punished for her actions. The difference with the A’s is simple…. They are NOT just standing behind their daughter, lending moral support, or a shoulder to cry on, assuring her they still love her. Their actions clearly show they are attempting to help her get away with murder.
I totally agree with Ron and/or his attorney’s on this one. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near the A’s either, as any chance they get, it’s all about another forum to proclaim Casey’s innocence and/or sway the jury pool in their direction. It’s not only wrong but it’s sick and disgusting that they have sold out Caylee for that murderous daughter helped to create.
Art, I agree that the atty’s did Ron no favor in releasing that video, as it did seem more of a scripted verse, rather than a heartfelt plea for Haleigh’s return. I can’t say whether or not that one video would sway my feelings one way or the other, but I do feel that Ron loved Haleigh, and I don’t think he did anything to her. I feel that the answer lies with the person that LIES. People can dig up all the dirt they want on every person in that town, but the fact remains that ONE person was with Haleigh that night, and that is the ONE person that continues to lie about the timeline and/or story. The truth does NOT change, but a lie certainly does. You can add to the truth, but it still doesn’t change it. You can start out lying, you can add more to it as well, but it doesn’t change the fact the first lie was indeed a lie. It has been said that the great g-ma came over that night to bring clean clothes for Haleigh and Junior, and there have been many theories on it as well. IMO only, I believe the g-ma brought them over because she wanted to make sure the kids had clean clothes, as I feel Misty wasn’t a good house-keeper. I think the g-ma was probably the reason Misty washed Haleigh’s blanket that night, probably because when she took the clothes in, she also said she needed to wash the blanket because it smelled of urine. I also think (imo) that Misty wasn’t at home that night. I don’t think she was far, in fact, maybe right outside the trailer. I think she put that brick in the door to hold it open so she could hear the children if they woke up, not only that, she needed a quick entry for when Ron arrived home from work. She could slip right back in the door, never setting off any red flags in his mind, as he wouldn’t have seen anything from the front of the trailer when he arrived. I cannot explain what happened to Haleigh, where she went, who took her or why, but I do feel Misty’s negligence and/or actions that night indirectly caused Haleigh’s disappearance. The back door being held open didn’t only lend to Misty’s easy entrance, but someone who took Haleigh as well.
IMO, I believe Ron did in fact marry Misty for the reason he said at one time. Misty was the last person to see Haleigh, and if let her get away, he might never be able to find Haleigh, and/or get the truth out of Misty. As for Crystal, I just don’t know about her. I don’t feel she is involved in the disappearance, but I do think she was less than an ideal mother up to the point Haleigh disappeared. She saw them every other weekend, or when she could get a ride to get them, she didn’t talk to them on the phone, (according to her because Ron wouldn’t allow it) but I find that hard to believe if little Haleigh were begging to speak to Crystal that Ron would tell her no. Maybe the kids didn’t ask to talk to her, as they weren’t used to being around her that often anyway. I find it odd it took Crystal 7 hours to arrive the night Haleigh went missing, and even more odd that she initially thought it was a joke of some kind. Who would play such a sick joke? I also have never understood the immediate need for cash flow in missing childrens cases. If the money is needed for searches or the actual searchers, I can understand that. The thing I find strange is that in almost all cases where there is foul play, the immediate concern is setting up some type of command post or account where money can be donated. Crystal was living on a certain amount of income, and I can’t understand the need for such an increase, simply because her daughter went missing.
When the family is NOT involved, you hardly EVER hear of money being mentioned. Sandra Cantu’s mother never mentioned or needed a dime, she was too distraught to speak, much less talk of needing money. Think about the few other cases where the family was NOT involved and you’ll recall the same thing.
I suppose I don’t understand the need for the money, considering that I would be too distraught to think of such things. I have heard many people referring to the Anthony’s when they say, we can’t say how we would act because we have never been in their shoes. I agree to some extent, although I know how I would NOT react, and I can tell you that it would be hard for me to do anything other than sit in a corner and sob, wondering where my child was, if she were crying for me, wondering what was happening to her. I often wonder what people mean when they say that Ron isn’t doing anything to find Haleigh. I wonder just what they expect him to do? Ask yourself this….what would you be doing? As I said, I would mostly be too distraught to even shower, eat, speak. I might wander aimlessly around the neighborhood, hoping to find some sign of her, but when people say he is doing nothing, and they would turn over the earth to find their child. Where? How? Maybe he is too depressed to even get up and around, or maybe he is not only depending on LE to look for her, but he just doesn’t have a clue where to go or what to do. You can only look around town so much ya know?

Sorry don’t think Ron is missing her to much. What I saw was him trying to keep a straight face, and maybe trying to shed a tear. It didn’t work for me. So what if he only made 20.00. Get off your butt and go get a real job!! If he would have called his employer and talked to him i’m sure they would have worked something out. Instead he saw this as free money (donations) everyone would feel sorry for him. I do feel bad for Haleigh not Ron or Misty because the truth of her disapperance lies between the two of them!!!!

Hi Art, I watched you and jvm last night, wish she would give you a little more time to talk about the case, but i quess with the breaking news about that guy in mo. killing his wife and two boys she cut the discussion time back. I would of rather heard you talk more about the case than some of the others she had on there, but so goes life, lol. I was wondering is crystal still at the haleigh bug or has she returned to her home? And has there been any conformation on misty being pregnant or did she just say that to get ron to marry her? It’s really hard to like that girl, something about her i just don’t like. I know shes only 17, and shes trying to act older. Has anyone seen her lately? Has there been any confirmation on the fight they had outside last weekend? And One more question, Are they still doing any searches for haleigh or are they just checking out leads now? I just don’t understand how she just disapeared with no trace, if she had to have a nubulizer she must had a pretty good case of asthma and that just doesn’t go away that fast does it? i use one 4 times a day so i wonder if shes still alive what who ever has her is doing for her asthma? Was there any puffers missing? I wonder if maybe she woke up and went looking for misty and just got lost like the little boy in mo.? That is if the story is true about misty not being at home that night. Hard to tell what actually happened with all the rumors that have been going around. Do you plan on staying on this case until shes found? You sure have a big heart art with all the time you have spent trying to find this little girl, I hope it turns out well for both sides of the family and they finally find her or what happend to her. It really does not matter what anyone thinks. Thinking something is not going to make what has & is unfolding any different than the way it actually is. I’ll wait for facts to come in. look at the case here a 8year old girl taken from school by a woman. Turns out to be a 18yr old girl that lead the child to a 28year old man who sadly to say took the childs life. Normal everyday looking people, with that as a fact anything is possible. I think the person or persons have not been caught because the focus is in the wrong arena of people, however that does not make it so. I’m not going to accuse with out facts.

Hello, Art,,,,,I am glad you are not giving up on this little girl…Sooner or later she will be found…I agree with the other posters here saying the Anthonys have no reason to be involved with Haleigh missing…Their Grandchild was NEVER missing..She was killed by their daughter and all they are doing is spinning their lies and covering for their murderous daughter, Casey……..I am also glad noone is sending money to Ronald and Misty, if that is trully the case…He had a job and threw it away, using Haleigh as the excuse why he couldn’t work or call and keep in touch with them…Anyone with half a brain knows, in case of having to take a leave of absense, you have to keep “in touch” with your employer…My guess is Ronald thought the public would continue to supply him and his new bride with money for smokes, beer and lottery tickets……These people are beyond any intelligent understanding from me…Please keep up the good work, keeping JVM on this case…..Someone,,,anyone who knows where this child is,,,,please call and let someone know….One more thing,,,if Ronald and Misty aren’t getting money from the public, we all know what happens when a new “marriage” goes without…..Maybe we are closer getting the answers to the important questions, surrounding this case.

Ok, this really p’s me off. In my opinion Cobra is a good guy. My thoughts on why this Snodgrass guy is doing this is either
-He has something to do with the Haleigh case and doesn’t want Cobra snooping around his door.
or
-He thinks he can use his case against Cobra to get off easier on the other pending charges against him.
It was said that the police was sure he wasn’t in the area because of the collar he was wearing, but did they go back and check the records to see if he was ever in her area? And even cobra said that he wouldn’t trust those collars because they have some kind of delay on them that allowed someone to get away that he was chasing once. And I’m still thinking that if this guy had anything to do with Haleighs disappearance that there might have been someone else involved. I think and hope that Cobra will get out as soon as he goes in because he knows the bonding laws so well.

To the PEOPLE THAT HAVE HALEIGH, Tomorrow is Saturday, take her to a Synagog, (sorry if I mispelled it) or to a preacher with a note on her with her name and tell them who she is. Then Call the Police 911, annonomysly and let them know where she is at and where’s she’s been so as to ease peoples minds on that part….please this little girl needs her family now. Summer-time is here and it was made for little kids to celebrate life with their failies, no matter how poor or rich…water, sand and the little fish and butterflies and wiggly worms are all made with kids in mind…even frogs. So come on, its time and you can do it the safe and easy way. Then you can sleep again at night.

Sorry, I don’t mean to make you spin. I brought up the rumor regarding Misty hitting Junior on the head at a health clinic on 5/15 or 5/14 because I wonder if Misty has a temper (meaning, did Misty have it in her to accidentally kill Haleigh while disciplining her?)
New questions for you:
1) Do your sources confirmed that Ron was indeed filmed by a convenience store surveillance camera at 2:28 am the night Haleigh went missing?
2) Have you seen underneath Ron’s old trailer, and if so, were there cement bricks underneath it?

Wow Art you are so awesome. Be careful with Cobra he is on Bloggers Network, asking for money and spreading lies. I have been told he hired someone to write a song for him, that he is working on getting a reality show and that Grund is in on this also. Deals in the making for fame and fortune and that he is just digging up things LE know already to get himself some publicity. This includes lies about Ron Cummings. So be careful. Cobra was charged with false imprisonment and has to turn himself into the jail.
I want to broach the subject with you and I know I may be rebuffed but I care about you a great deal. I think you have worked hard to build a reputation as an honest journalist with some integrity. I think you fell for Cobra and believed him. Even if you see something with your own eyes your beliefs about what you see can be totally changed by what you are led to believe before you see it. I do not want to believe you are part of this Art. It makes sense to me that Ron Cumming’s is out of money and having to work odd jobs. Who would donate to him with Crystal saying he abuses women and children. If money is going to any parent it is all going to Crystal. With Cobra saying he is spending donation money on all these things. When in fact he can’t be spending donation money on the things Cobra claims he has. Jamie Watts has clearly said the money is for basic survival. That money is probably gone as they never collected that much to begin with. Watts said it was less that $5,000 and it has been four months.

There are similarities between Anthony’s and the Cumming’s case as far as how they started out. Casey lied and sent LE on a wild goose chase, and Misty and Ron have been untrue with their timeline. Teresa and cindy will go to their grave before they see their children take respnsability for anything…. ART, Thankyou for being Haleigh’s voice, because Caylee no longer has a voice. Cindy has thrown her under the bus… Cindy & Teresa will get them out of any lie they get into. God only knows what is going to become of this Cummings case. I don’t feel the Anthony’s and Cummings would get along for to long with Ron and Cindy’s tempers… and the lies would really be a confuessing mess… And Ron could end up with a domectic violence charge on him… God bless you Art!

I can not stand Ronald or Misty they are so cocky and act like they are above the law and I guess with good reason they are still free and we are no closer to finding Haleigh than we were when she first came up missing but one thing is consistent Misty can’t keep her story strate and Ronald just acts like he can do what ever he wants and get away with it even taking money from the fund for finding his daughter to buy cigarette’s and beer they both know more than they are saying and then poor Crystal is miles away going threw hell she is the only one who is showing how much pain she is in she has not given up on finding Haleigh and I pray they do people are so willing to criticize her and why she has done nothing but try and find her daughter I hope she does get custody if she had gotten it before Haleigh would still be with her. I believe the reason Ronald and his family did not attend the vigils of hope was due to the media coverage. He does not want to be out in the spot light, giving media a chance to ask him and any of his family some of the many questions we all would love answers to. They cannot afford to get caught in anymore inconsistant statements that may could be used against them.
The Anthonys as we all know are surrounded by media. They are human beings. They know exactly how a person feels when their beloved comes up missing. They do state they love their daughter no matter what. This is unconditional love for your child. I would not want to stand in their shoes. It is heart breaking and they not only lost their beloved granddaughter, which you can see they love dearly, but they will be losing their daughter Casey. It is a hard pill for any parent to swallow that their child murdered their child. I believe the Anthonys can lend support to other families and help them cope. It also helps George and Cindy cope with their loss. This is a support group that I hope to never join. I pray for all of them.
Ronald hides out. TN says he is so hurt by all the allegations. Well, he has not went through anything that The Anthonys have gone through with the media or protesters outside his home demanding justice and answers from himself, misty and other members of his family as to WHAT HAPPENED TO HALEIGH!!! NOTHING stopped the Anthonys from searching for Caylee.
Ronald should have been there for one reason only; HALEIGH. This was the most absurd excuse as to why Ronald was not there for his daughter HALEIGH.
Crystal is still out searching for Haliegh. You can see the toll it is taking on her. Ron you need to reach out and lend support to Crystal. I saw in the video clip that Art Harris had on this site, where you were down on the ground crying and it was Crystal who came and tried to console you.
Crystal please use the media to help put pressure on your daughters case. I know you can do this. You have alot of people praying for you. Use GOD as your strength. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH CHRIST!! You can do this.

Art, it was nice to see you back on Issues (JVM). I think it helped that Ron did not go to the vigil, bc it got Haleigh back on the news. Lisa Bloom HUH??? She took alot of the time up defending everyone. Kim didn’t get to say much. With Crystal, how did the custody case slow down the hunt for Haleigh? Where did it slow it down. They are all different depts. Can someone tell me if Crystal has started the custody case and how it is going. And Ron getting married I don’t feel that slowed finding Haleigh down either. The inconsistancies – big YES!

I feel real bad about Cobra. Art – Is there anything the public can do to help him? He has been out there looking for Haleigh, and has risk his own life to track down people that have nothing to lose. That alone says alot. After dealing with two sex offenders in my life, and knowing how they work very hard to get their victim , and it has been proven that there is no known cure for them. I don’t believe Ron came to any conclusions on his own to distance himself from the Anthony’s, and I believe his attorneys orchestrated this latest attempt to marginally rehabilitate their client.

Ronald actually has been out looking for his dsughter, and I don’t blame him one bit for avaoiding the media. Haleigh missing was turned in to a custody battle very quickly, he would be hounded by the media wanting to know more about those alegations, case in point, look at what that idiot Geraldo did on national tv? He asked ‘Are you a police informant’ … obviously Geraldo didn’t give a hoot as to what possible consequences could have arisen from a question like that, where was his concern for Ron Jr.; he just wanted to play the big tough guy, the bully, nope, I don’t blame Ronald Cummings for avoiding everybody. I believe Mark Klaas advised Ron to stay out of the media also, and there’s a man who’s been through so much, very wise advice Mr. Klaas.
As for Crystal, the girl seems to have major drug problems, she needs professional help. IMO

This is my opinion only . It is hard for me to imagine that Haleigh, as fiesty as she appears could be kept quiet for this length of time.
Even so I should think what may have started out as an abduction is no longer that. Haleigh appears to be a bright little girl. She can tell who abducted her and where they took her. This leaves me to believe she is no longer alive.
I pray my thinking is 100% wrong.

Art, Ronalds cell phone pings keep coming up as if that is gospel evidence of his alibi, will it pick up tower pings if it is turned off? Can, and has it been checked for his whole shift hours to see if it were turned off at any time. Also, what if he had run an errand and just left his phone at work somewhere with the ringer turned off so as to create an alibi. Seems LE puts a lot of trust in this.

Noreen you are right that the Anthonys never went out on foot and searched for Caylee. George had a trailer he pulled all around Orange County with caylee on it. They went out sold t-shirts etc… They talked to media. You can use media as a resource to keep Haleigh in the spot light. Ronald can do more than what he is doing. I hope he finds a job. I do feel for Ron that his daughter is missing. Caylee was a missing child until she was found deceased. I pray that the end result will not be the same for HALEIGH. Everyone is considered a MISSING person until they are found whether it be ALIVE or DECEASED.
Everything Ronald has been asked whether it be drugs, abuse allegations etc… he always denies. Ronald should have known that Geraldo already had this info before confronting him on these issues. Crystal when asked did not deny. All Ronald had to say was that he had been a user in the past, but no longer used. He could of stated he in fact had a prior restraining order placed on him by Crystal for abuse. I believe then people could be more sympathetic.
It had already been 3 weeks since Haleigh had been missing when Geraldo did this interview. I believe citizens are the ones that came forward with all the info that Crystal had no knowledge of. She did call DCF ,prior to Haliegh missing, on Ronald but nothing happened. The issues of custody did not slow Le down on looking for Haleigh. They are two different departments.They each have their investigating to do. One should not hinder the other.
Misty was not the only one caught in lies. Ronald and Teresa Neves were also. why LIE if there is nothing to hide.
Only ones who are trying to cover up something LIE.

What would you do if you were one of Haleigh’s parents?
I would try to get as much media attention as I could, every day. I would be on the phone to the FBI at least three times a week. I would go to the police station and beg for new information every day. I would go to my church and beg God to help find my daughter, I’d take cameras and people with me.
If I were one of the Grandparents, I would be organizing searches, I would be on the phone begging Tim Miller and the TX search team to come back. I’d be demanding that anyone who is telling a story that doesn’t add up sit down with LE until it does. I would probably be such a pain in LE’s backside that they wouldn’t have a choice because I’d be complaining to the State Attorney’s office. I’d be gathering all the money I could from contributions to make a reward offer. Then I’d sit down and get creative.
I haven’t seen much of this. At least not form this family, and I’m wondering why? OK – my next question, What could LE be doing that they are not?

Whatever one feels for or against Ron,I gave him credit for forbidding the Anthony’s to come to that viil. Crystal should have had that much sense. The Anthony’s saying they are out to help find “missing children” is a fluke for Caylee was never missing. And as stated,the two cases are nothing alike. If i were my child,I would not allow the Anthony’s there either just to get publiciyfor themselves and taint the jury pool. The Anthony’s know much more than they say. I have never trusted them.

shamby–my law enforcement sources assure me EVERY tip is followed up and just because they don’t say, hey, that turned out to be bogus or a nowhere lead doesn’t mean they aren’t working it. In fact, they tell me they read The Bald Truth, and every tidbit and morsel you all toss out, they put in their reality meter based on what they are looking for and if it clicks they might run it down. But as I’ve said before they are ahead of the pack and know what they are looking for…will have more on that soon.

Cobra is at it again. He is angry with Kim Picazio and now he is blaming Crystal or someone in her family for taking Haleigh. Saying he reported Crystal’s drug addiction to DFS and that her seizures are caused by drugs. That is quite a turn around for Cobra. He seems to have no problem at all accusing people of kidnapping and murder. It would be nice if he were correct because I believe the only way Haleigh is alive is if someone did this on Crystal’s behalf. I do not understand Cobra, is he hedging his bets? If he blames every suspect he can’t be wrong or is he just after media attention? He said he could not hand Haleigh over to Crystal if he found her because of Crystal’s drug problems,
but Kim Picazio clearly wants Junior and Haleigh with Crystal. These people are all loosing credibility with me.
If what Cobra says is true and Crystal lied to him and Kim and Kim did not bother to find the truth before her television campaign, then I hope Ron Cumming’s can sue her for slander. I am not a fan of Mr. Cumming’s however what she did saying he beat his kids bloody and showing that playground accident as abuse is abominable. Some people apparently still believe that photo is of abuse, that Ron Cumming’s hit his daughter in the exact same area. That is so ridiculous I can’t even comprehend such idiocy. Kim Picazio I believe should and does know better. She should be held accountable for her actions. She also took the focus off of missing Haleigh. Even LE said that it was hurting the investigation. They had to take people off Haleigh’s case and have them investigate child abuse charges. It is disgusting and if it is true that Crystal made much of this up and is a drug addict then Kim Picazio really deserves a law suit. That is one issue Cobra is correct about. If they believed Junior was in real danger, they should have been in court for an emergency hearing long ago.

I believe this will all come to a end soon,I believe the reason the Cummings stopped talking is because they realized the different stories that they have told,I have looked at all the interviews with them over and over and there is more then a hand full of changes in each.When Misty is giving interviews with Ronald she always looks to him for the answer.Maybe she should make a cheat sheet next time,if there is a next time.I can’t for the life of me understand the marrying of these two,she had cheated these are his words,she was of doing drugs,also his words,who would leave their child with someone who was gone for 3 days,and if she is pregnant that poor baby.Not only the drugs but the nicotine,everytime we see her she is smoking.I hope when this case is busted wide open,LE makes no deals with none of them and charges them with as many charges as they can even little petty charges all of these people deserve every little time they get in jail.We all know that if people clam up it is because they are hiding something.And something I never understood,why get a tribute tattoo of a child that is missing for a couple of weeks,she is not deceased,not unless he knows something we don’t.God Bless you all.But most of all God Bless Haleigh.

Thanks ART for all you are doing for little Haleigh. Thank you for letting us Post on your site and put our heads together on this, somehow..also I’d like to say Thanks to COBRA too. Just checking to see if there was any good news on Haleigh. My heart aches and just won’t stop. I know there arent any words to describe the pain and anguish Ron, Crystal, Ron Jr. and their Grandparents and even Amber are going through. Nothing will take it away until they find her alive and well. I hope she is. I would like to say to her Parents and family that I am keeping you all in my prayers and tell you that I’m so sorry this is happening in your life. Nobody deserves this, ever.
To whoever has her…do the right thing and make a phone call to the LE or someone that you feel is safe…Haleigh belongs with her family and her little brother’s heart is broke in half by you. He’s an innocent 4 year old little baby. Do you remember what it was like to be 4 and 5 years old? She has a baby brother named Jordan that needs to grow up with his sissy in his life too.
Do the right thing, return Haleigh to her family. You won’t have any PEACE until you do.

Just curious as to why all who have agreed with your recent comments re: Ronald Cummings not going in to LE and cooperating and that Crystal and family are not the focus any longer have all been banned from your forum by your biased moderator? Agreement with the forum owner….forcing posting negative things about Crystal????? I am confused.

Thanks for coming over. I’ve got a moderator — and a fine, hard working one at that — to keep it civil and try to keep the peace. As i understand it, ideas expressed without cursing or cruelty or cat-fighting get on, but if it rises to the level of disruption, he has the authority to ban who she sees fit. I can’t micromanage. But get copies of every complaint and it’s a bit daunting and frustrating to see grownups pushing the envelope—not speaking directly to you or your posts because I can’t read and recall them all–and trying to see how far they can push, testing the boundaries and patience of one person faced with upwards of 30,000 page views a day.
It’s a dance at th is moment and we’re all trying to figure out the steps, a work in progress. For the most part, it seems 95 pct are happy.
