Exclusive: Haleigh Could Be Alive—-Top Cop
Misty Cummings Wild Weekend Chauffeur, Christina Prevatt, Back in Jail

In an exclusive,wide-ranging interview, the lead investigator in the Haleigh Cummings case tells the The Bald Truth he’s holding out hope the missing five year old could be alive.
“I didn’t think so for a long time, based on statistics for these kinds of missing children cases,” Captain Dominic Piscatello, chief of major crimes for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, told me Monday. “But now, based on what we’ve learned, I’m holding out hope. You remember (Elizabeth) Smart (the kidnapped Utah girl who turned up safe months later). Everyone had written her off as dead. We’re not ready to write off Haleigh.”
As supervisor of PCSD investigators spearheading the federal, state and local task force, Piscatello provided few details behind his change of heart, but did tell me earlier he’s confident the case is no stranger abduction, far more likely a child kidnapping by someone known or tied to a small circle of “players” who had contact with the five year old via family or friends.
His investigators have built timelines, which they continue to fill in for each of those so called “players,” including Misty Cummings, the 17 year old babysitter who reported the child missing Feb. 10, then married Haleigh’s father, Ronald, several weeks later. Both deny anything to do with the disappearance, and have made teary pleas for Haleigh’s safe return.
Piscatello told me he’d asked Cummings’ attorney to bring his client in to meet with investigators in an attempt to resolve unanswered questions about events surrounding Haleigh’s disappearance. He declined to reveal what the questions might be, and did not imply Ronald might be a suspect, just a grieving father who may hold clues that might lead them to a kidnapper, and hopefully, a little girl who’s still alive.
Cummings’ attorneys issued a press release Tuesday blasting our story reporting exclusively that police consider Ronald’s alibi solid–that co workers and cell phone towers show he was at work on the yard for PDM Bridge when Haleigh was purportedly snatched from the trailer where she was sleeping with her brother and babysitter Misty Croslin.
The attorneys said they found conflicts, gossip and hearsay in the story — that also quoted a co worker overhearing Ronald order Misty to “whip” Haleigh or put in a movie to keep her quiet–but declined to elaborate because of the upcoming meeting with the task force.
“This office had prepared a more lengthy and detailed response, but it has just been learned that a meeting has been scheduled for this office to meet with the law enforcement task force investigating Haleigh’s disappearance,” read the statement. “In the interest of not interfering with law enforcement’s investigation, this office will withhold further comment until deemed appropriate.
We left messages with Ronald’s mother, and his grandmother, where he’s been living with Misty, asking for comment, but received no call backs by press time, or after. His lawyers have refused all phone interviews, apparently preferring to communicate via press releases.
It was unclear whether his wife, Misty, had also been invited to speak with investigators who have interviewed her numerous times. According to her family, Misty recently retained her own attorney, like her husband. In an exclusive interview with me several weeks ago, she told The Bald Truth she didn’t need one “because only guilty people need a lawyer.”
According to Piscatello, who cites “conflicts” in her account of the night Haleigh disappeared, the only thing she’s ever confessed to is partying the weekend before Haleigh vanished. Fresh from a domestic spat with Ronald, according to friends, she sought a quickie revenge romance , going on what several friends who were with her tell me was a wild three day weekend of sex, drugs and rock and roll–chauffeured by pal Christina Prevatt, 19, aka, Nay Nay. It was Nay Nay who helped Misty make her love connection with “White Boy Greg” Page, 28, a light skinned African American who has been laying low following purported threats from Cummings family.
But Prevatt was back in the Putnam County Jail Tuesday, on suicide watch with a mandatory 72 hour hold for her own safety, the captain told me. She was rebooked after William Staubs, aka “Cobra,” pro bono private eye and bounty hunter, tracked her to a “filthy” Palatka crash pad, and announced he was revoking her $2,400 bond on drug charges. He’d bailed her out last week with Amber Brooks, a former Ronald Cummings ex, who remains free on bond, then learned she’d tried to allegedly snatch her own child, a nine month old girl named Destiny, from the father, Donovan Spells, 47.
According to Kim Picazio, the Miami lawyer representing Crystal Sheffield who has also been mediating domestic turmoil between Prevatt and her man, Nay Nay “needs to get into rehab for her drug addiction, and we’ve been pleading with her to get help.”
Picazio tells me Prevatt apparently snapped Monday when she saw another woman holding Destiny outside the father’s house and tried to wrestle the baby from her and the father. She was in the car with her mother.
“Drive, hurry up and drive!” she was yelling at her mother as she engaged in a dangerous tug of war for the baby, according to Picazio.
Cobra says that incident, an alleged child kidnapping, made her risky business for the bonding company and required him to hunt her down. He said he found her asleep on a dirty mattress today at 1 p.m and announced she was going back to jail.
“She cried and screamed that she’d die in jail,” Cobra told me, “but jail might be the safest place for her right now.”
Indeed, the troubled young woman sent a test message to her ex boyfriend, who forwarded it to Picazio and Cobra, that she aimed to kill herself after spotting her baby in the arms of another woman.
Captain Piscatello hopes to harvest clues from all the emotional chaos, and within minutes of her booking, had investigators grilling her again about what she knew about Haleigh’s disappearance or anyone who might know. “I don’t think she’s involved directly at all,” Piscatello told me, “but this gives us a chance to see if she will give us something she hasn’t before.
“We’ll make sure she gets checked by a doctor, and maybe when she gets the drugs out of her system, and gets off suicide watch, she’ll be able to remember something about someone we might be able to use…all we need is a break.”

How are all these older men getting away with impregnating under age , young girls, then taking the babies? I do feel sorry for these girls as it is obvious this was their only lifestyle they have ever known. But the man was 47 and Dad to her baby? What a shame.

Anyway I’m shocked at the level of drugs apparently in this town. I’m also shocked to find out that this young person has a baby too! And with a 47 year old man or did I misunderstand?
What’s going on here? Is there no parenting of the teens in this town, any birth control at all?? Wow.

This case gets more and more crazy everyday.Nay Nay needs to go some where far far away and into rehab.She needs to get away from there.
If Nay Nay was going to kill herself then jail is the place for her.She needs to get away from the people she hangs out with and all the drugs.
So now Misty has a lawyer.She said she doesn’t need a lawyer because “only guilty people need a lawyer” and shes not guilty.Well I think she is guilty,I think she did something to Haleigh or knows what happened.
I think she should be the next in jail her and Nay Nay can be cell mates.I think that is the place she needs to be and maybe she will talk and say what she knows or did.

With due respect, that was Elizabeth Smart in Salt Lake City Utah. She was gone 9 months and found in Sandy Utah, 18 miles from home.

For the record, Captain Piscatello….the young girl from Utah was Elizabeth Smart and it was nine months later that she was found..you are confusing the case of Pamela Smart (husband murderer). Further, you know that Haleigh Cummings is no longer living..there would be ransom demands, other clues, you all should get your acts together up there and either find a body or charge someone in the family because that’s where the crime lies…

I have a feeling that LE is close to cracking the case.
Nay Nay, Amber and Misty need help with getting clean, desperately. I hope they get it and I hope that they start to tell the truth about Haleigh. Problem is, when massive drug and alcohol abuse is a daily event, blackouts are common and they may not remember everything. I do think they know more than they’re telling tho.

I think the police captain meant Elizabeth Smart. I believe Pamela Smart is the teacher that is in prison along with her student/boyfriend for murdering her husband.
I feel bad for all these people whose lives are driven by drugs. It seems like they’ll never be able to rise above it. I hope Prevatt is able to go to rehab.
It’s sad to see all these kids being raised by someone other than their mother.

I have a question- In this statement,

Most obviously note that it was Elizabeth Smart, not Pamela that was kidnapped, but my question is:
Is it common for people in Satsuma to confuse the name “Elizabeth” with “Pamela”?
Because, oddly enough, I have noted that mistake only one other time, and it was by a prominent poster in the “Haleigh Cummings Locals” thread at WS. What are the odds?

i really don’t think nay,nay no’s what really happen that night with haleigh. only when misty contact her, or was it Nay, Nay, called her up when misty told her haleigh was missing , telling her the light was on when haleigh went missing. family told misty to hang -up the phone because the phone could or was tapped. they hung up and that was the last time nay, nay, heard from her. Nay Nay problem is she have a drug problem and need help so she can get costudy if her baby. its going to be a long process.i wish her well.By Shamby.

Lets get back on Haleigh… Art – It is 4:20pm here, this is the longest & best coverage on JVM that we have had in a long time. And thanks for sticking up for Cobra. They can really get some information messed up. I hope they get Nay Nay into rehab. I think she & others are so young they can’t even grasp what or how they got into these messes. Did I get this right that LE feels that Haleigh may be alive? Do they feel Nay Nay knows something? I hope I’m understanding this right.. I just went back & reread, and you said Capt. You have us realizing that in order to find her we have to look beyond the drug mess and open all avenues. There is atleast one person that knows (besides Misty) where Haleigh is. She wouldn’t be getting a lawyer, and she isn’t smart enough to keep it to herself. I keep wondering if something happened the first few hrs. after Haleigh got out of school. If this is a case where someone in their circle took Haleigh, what would be reasons why? No person has come forward for the reward have they? thats all hog wash. I would love for Haleigh to be alive. However that would mean this was all planned and for what reasons. What did anyone have to gain from kidnapping haleigh. It’s not like this trailer trash has collateral. And to keep a child hidden in this town with all the talk that goes on is crazy. Misty is guilty. And until someone can prove other wise there is no logical reason to anything else. No sex offender, no drug dealer, plain and simple Haleigh posed a threat to misty and in her drug induced rage she went to far with the “whipping”. She has no self control and is obviously unstable.

“Nay-Nay” may feel like the end of the world is comming with her being in jail, but it just might be the thing that saves her life.
She obviously has emotional issues in addition to the drug problem and is not facing them. My own son (he is bipolar as his father was) ran from treatment and self-medicated with drugs for years. He wound up in jail and will tell everyone today that it saved his life. It is a hard way to go but for some – sadly nessessary.

I hope Piscatello is correct and Haleigh is still alive & being held somewhere. Piscatello’s theory about Haleigh still being alive seems to imply that this was either a revenge kidnapping directed at Ron or Misty or Crystal – or – there is a guilty pedophile lurking among the Cummings and Croslins. Here are the problems I have envisioning either of these two scenarious…,
1. Ron & Teresa Neves are both guilty of giving inconsistant statements. Neighbors stated Misty picked up Haleigh at the bus stop, but Ron and Teresa each claim to have. What do Ron and Teresa get out of lying here?
2. Misty and Ron both changed their stories about whether Haleigh was in the same bed as Misty that fateful night. Misty, at one point, even stated that Haleigh was in her own room. Misty also revised her story from ‘getting up at 3 am to get a drink of water’ to ‘getting up at 3 am to go to the bathroom’. What are Misty and Ron’s motives for telling different versions?
2. re: Chad’s ex-wife – The woman is angry because she wants custody of her kids back. How would kidnapping Haleigh help return her children to her, especially if Haleigh was ‘abducted’ on Ron’s watch, not Crystal’s? Moreover, if Chad’s ex wanted to exact some sort of revenge against Crystal, under this scenario, Ron, Misty, & Teresa would be completely exculpated. Why then would Ron, Misty, & Teresa feel the need to lie to reporters & LE?
6. Ron’s “solid alibi” -
Ron told reporters on camera that he worked the ‘last eight hours’ leading up to his arrival home at 3 am. This means Ron arrived at work no earlier than 7 pm. Art, what was Ron up to from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm, meaning from the time Haleigh was home from school, to the time Ron arrived at work?
My guess is that if LE got ahold of the cell phone pings from the following individuals, they would quickly see who was where that night and who took Haleigh:
Ron
Misty
Misty’s sex offender cousin
Teresa Neves
Greg Page
Chad’s ex-wife
Chad’s ex-wife’s significant other

I have always felt Haleigh was or is alive. This is a drug ring problem in that family. I feel Haleigh was sold or Ron and Misy is doing this for some reason. SHe is being hid somewhere maybe in another state. Thank you Art and Cobra also. Hang in there to find this baby and bring her home safe but NOT back to that family.

Or….maybe Amber was out to prove that Misty wasn’t “trustworthy”, as a step parent/care taker of the children, BEFORE Misty might have made good on her alleged My Space threat to take Amber’s child. And quite possibly Amber’s friend “Nay Nay” was in it (the previous weekend with Misty) to help Amber with her task. Stranger things have happened in this case. Just my thoughts here. Nice job Art. Lisa, that was Ron’s preacher that said that about working eight hours. Ron’s shift was ten hours plus one half hour for lunch. Art has verified for us that he was there. His shift started at 4:30.

The thing that bothered me the most about this article was that we are nearly at the 4 month mark of Haleigh going missing and the most the lead detective can say is that LE is waiting for “that one tip”? What is up with that?
What about all the other evidence? What about the fact that there is video proof that these people have lied time and time again?
Geeze and I thought that the cops were bad in Hillsborough County….The LE in Putnam County makes them look like geniuses.

I felt extremely sorry for NN when Cobra was hauling her off. Yes, she is a druggie, but like so many other women in Satsuma, it seems nobody cares. So, my next question would be, did Cobra bring NN back into jail as a means of protection? Farfetched perhaps, but I’ve got a feeling the jig is up and the domino’s are beginning to tip. Pastor Wright said: “I spent an hour and a half with him last night. He told me last night — we were out in the middle of the cold in North Florida. Believe it or not, it does get cold in North Florida. We were out in the middle of North Florida, and he told me this. He said, ‘Pastor,’ he said, ‘I kissed my daughter, went to work, trying to make an honest living, trying to make an honest wage. I came home EIGHT hours later, and she was gone.’”
I have never seen any report in which LE says conclusively, “We have confirmed through time cards and eyewitnesses that Ron Cummings was at PDM that night every minute from 4:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. and did not leave at any time for any reason.”
Ron lied about picking Haleigh up at the bus stop, and even embellished that lie, as Art reported. What else is he lying about? And even if he did get to work at 4:30 that day, something could have happened to Haleigh before he went to work–even hours or days before. Or Misty could have simply carried out Ron’s instructions for dealing with Haleigh (“Whip her, just whip her!”) and gone too far.
Remember, Misty said in her very first video interview, “I feel bad, but I don’t feel responsible.”

And who marries the woman who was the last to see your child? Ron and Misty both know what happened to Haleigh, where she is, and who is responsible. And his smug I-wuz-at-work “alibi” means nothing.

After watching the video of Misty recounting her steps the night Haleigh vanished, I have to wonder something.
I find it quite convenient that Misty woke up at almost the same time Ronald got home. Did Ronald take Haleigh out of the house before Misty woke up, to make this all look like the real deal? Was he so pissed off at Misty from the prior weekend that he had no other choice but to forcefully manipulate Misty into marrying him? Maybe Ronald lost it when Misty was gone for those days, he realized that she wasn’t diggin’ her mary poppins lifestyle, he had to do something to make her stay.
From that same video, Misty is talking about the blankets and says she had to wash them because “I guess the night before she had pee’d on them” so was Misty even there the night before? Or did she just arrive back home that morning of?
When great granny sykes talks about her visit that night, she says “when WE pulled up” who is this “we”? Has anyone ever answered that question? It came straight from granny sykes mouth, what’s the deal there?
Again, I hope le is working hard on this. It seems that there is a lot of corruption in Ratsuma, will anyone clean it up? Every woman who has been presented in this case has been let down time and time again. That is why I felt sorry for NayNay. Where are all the dad’s in this story? Other than Ronald Cummings, they sure keep their neck out of it, don’t they?

ummm ok so a coupla of questions…no one mentioned Crystal or Chad in the circle…because they have gotten something out of Haleighs dissaperance -MONEY…and are they even staying in the area anymore as is stated on haleigh bug website why they need money?AND does Satsuma have any rehab centers for all of these people obviously addicted to drugs what kind I will not speculate?MAYBE someone needs to send some donations to the county of satsuma for that…get them clean so they have a straight thought process!also has anyone sent l.e any donations toward searching for haleigh?HEY PAt/ohio maybe your donations would be better spent there since none seems to be at haleighbug ….think about it!

I still would like to know how Chad Griffis has his children when he had a two year order for violence on those children in place till 2008. An order that was in place at least two years. I have ordered a copy of the order.

Haleigh is not alive, and in your heart of hearts you don’t believe she is…IMO
Haleigh was “whipped” too hard, and she died…Whipping seemed to be the norm for Ron and Misty…After all, Child Protective Services said it was ok, and Ron was encouraging it, telling Misty to “whip her”. I wish someone would whip the truth out of him…I don’t believe the bruises on Haleigh’s face was from monkey bars on a playground..The poor baby was beaten, again and again..It’s a crying shame the case has gone cold…I don’t care how many crazy people appear with information…None of it is any good in finding Haleigh…If LE thought she was alive they would have updates, alerting the public, showing her photo…We get nothing…zilch! I think we are being led on a wild goose chase…Six months from now, no one will be talking about Haleigh .. The child deserves a proper burial. It makes me sick to think she will never be found, and the one/ones’s responsible will never stand trial, but that’s what is going to happen…This is a cold case…

I would like to thank Maureen for starting this thread. We need to kick start LE and put some info out. No case can go on such as this without any clues whatsoever. Even in Pamela Smarts case there were clues. There were clues in the JonBenet case. Maybe they were dropped clues, but there were some. I believe that there are clues here that maybe should be made public. In our thirst for truth we run in circles without them.

WOW Art and thank you for the update, I pray that Haleigh is alive and home soon, lke they day so many twists and turns to this puzzle. JMO: It could be possbible that Misty was taking revenge to Ron, after all they were fighting before this happened and maybe she was mad enough to plan it out with Ron’s exes and she did tell Crystal she was taking her man and her kids. I think bith Children should be given to the Mother and maybe it might make Ron think twice about who he can be married too! maybe this happened to open his eyes and go back to Crystal, if perchance however that he knew about it then both should be thrown in jail. Now Seriously Art…LE would like us to believe Haleigh is alive out there somewhere being held? It’s very rare that this happens by non-relatives. Either the people who Ronald robbed the weekend before – took her and sold her to the drug trafficers or she was accidently killed by these pills…my gut tells me that Ronald gave permission for Misty to give HC one of these pills to get her to go to sleep that night, so that Misty can work off her 3 weekend bender.
ART: would you please post a picture of Captain Dominic Piscatello on this website so we can start seeing who these LE officers are? I saw something very interesting at one of the pressers that made. i live in st augustine i dont understand why there is no sign here in town of a missing baby haleigh. we are only 25 miles away no signs up in our stores or any were. i hope that you see though the bull that sometimes come from people who talk to be talking .i sure you do. i have lived her for 28 years the drugs in our little towns here and there has destoryed this quite fishing villages i hope to see this case closed soon. it scares me having a little child and living so close. keep it up the pressure it will only help . if you will post were to get posters or were to print out some i would.

I just had a question, I was wondering why Crystal is having so many seizures. Have they diagnosed her with anything or did she have a history of seizures in the past?
I know what she must be going through and stress is taking toll of her body, but she is having a lot of them.

Where do these characters come from!It appears as though “child snatching” is as routine for Ronald Cummings and his circle of druggies, as “going to the movies”!Ronald Cummings snatched Haleigh and Junior from their birth Mother a few years ago (then he got custody),Ronald tried to kidnap his 1 yr. old handicapped son from the maternal Grandmother a week or 2 ago,Nay Nay just tried to snatch her baby girl from the arms of the Father’s girlfriend the other day (and now her bondwas revoked).Worst of all, Haleigh was snatched by who knows!There seems to be a common thread in all but one of these snatchings-RONALD CUMMINGS!!! No child is safe in his presence!Poor Junior.I pray that Haleigh is found alive and that her Mother gets custody of Junior and Haleigh (if she is found)!

This crowd is unbelievable. Children sleeping around with older men. Rampant drug use. School drop outs. Babies having babies. Drug dealing as a means of employment. Casual beatings. Threats hurled back and forth. Kids placed in custody for their own safety. We are talking about another world here!
Misty holds the key to all this. And as soon as everyone comes out of their drug induced haze maybe the police will get to the bottom of this travesty. But little Haleigh is gone forever. Look at Misty for the answers.

# 54 Rose~ I’m with you on some of this stuff, Prevatt gave her PERCEPTION of what was going on, not necessary lying but a bit far from the truth don’t you think? even a drug addicted girl desperate for a ride to go turn tricks so she could stay high, wouldn’t split her earnings with a high 18 yo., she would gas up the car some, party the girl up and call it a day. It’s the same with Greg Page, he is giving his perception of events, implicating himself only to misdemeanor crimes, and the three of them sitting scared on the couch while they waited is a crock IMO. Most of these players are herion addicts IM, they throw around the use of roxies and oxies and xanax as if they were eating sweet tarts and snickers to catch a sugar high. These are highly addictive drugs, cocaine is the least of their evils (not suggesting coke is not a terrible drug). More likely they sat on that couch in and out of conscienceness from their own drug use. I, myself would like to know more about Prevatt lending her car to A. Brooks, what date was that? and more info on the activities of Lisa Brooks at the time Haleigh went missing and in the following days and weeks. If LE has new hope this child is still alive, it’s sounding like she may have been taken by people who were high and unable to think this abduction through, more likely acted on a whim, something that sounded like a good idea at the time, and now are at a loss as to what to do and don’t possess the good sense to bring her to LE. Let’s hope it’s something of this nature, that Haleigh is alive and with people who are not murderers or molesters, just idiots!

It seems to me that drugs and drug addicts have taken over this community, there are plenty of arrest, but no convictions… How are these people getting by with drug charge after drug charge and nothing ever comes of it, I think if the penalties were more servere there would be less drug activity.. I know law enforcement can not make drugs and addicts and drug dealers cease to exist, but this stuff should be controlled better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just remember a few times he seemed determined to make it a point that he was at work. Could be nothing but it stood out as odd to me. I also had to do with the way he said it as well.

I am dyslexic & therefore my reading comprehension is not always up to par, however I believe I seen 19 NAY NAY & 47 ex boyfriend. I am not surprised she has drug problems, take into consideration 9 months pregnancy and the age of the child Nay Nay would of been 17 & the father 45. That is borderline pedophilia . I hope she gets the help she needs & builds a strong life for herself & her child. With that a side I find Cobra’s reason for bailing her out to be in his best interest and not the health of the child or NAY NAY. If Cobra had insisted she go directly to rehab, counseling for abuse because she has been, as well as parenting classes and look into education then I would say Cobra had the child and her in mind. Cobra has no room to talk about anyone he is a sell out in my opinion. Back to the kitchen light, I have an issue with it, I still believe this what an act of confidence, someone who could over power those there and maybe someone who could make up an excuse for being there should they be caught. What if Misty woke up while the person was there do to the light on? I think this person felt confident they could excuse their presence away or over power her. I have wondered about cousins and such or acquaintances. It is an absolute tragedy and a horrific crime to commit on a family, however do keep in mind this is a crime against this family whether hey do drugs or not. It is important not to under mind this crime with stigma’s and need to blame the victim in what I think is people’s way of copying. I think people do this because if they can write it off as ” those kind” and assure their self their not “that kind” then it some how makes them feel safe or that it won’t happen to them. That is a false hope.

I mentioned this on another one of my posts but NayNay said they went to Crescent City because Greg knew some people. So basically, that sounds like pimp to me. Hey Art,how are ya?We’ve been wondering something.Crystal was said to have been having a relationship with her girlfriend’s boyfriend.The girlfriend caught them,it was said.Crystal was at the Haleighbug center Sunday night and it was 1am,so she wouldn’t be there by herself.We think she was meeting someone.No way she’d be there alone,and when Kim and Cobra found out she had a seizure they rushed right over.Who called 911 and who is she seeing?Come on now Art,don’t hold out,people will find out. So,we have the Crystal/Amber/Misty triangle and the Crystal/Chad/boyfriend triangle.We’ve only looked at the possibilities of the other side,but what about this side of Crystal’s.Crystal and Chad were getting married,she cheats on him with her best friend’s boyfriend and Chad finds out.Did someone want to “help” Crystal out and make Ronald lose custody?Or did someone want to hurt Crystal by making her go through all of this?Ronald had the custody,and Misty would do anything to keep Ronald,because she wanted to marry him and have his baby.So,this has been played out so over the top,it’s ridiculous.So,let’s explore a different avenue here.All at one time period,Crystal gets caught with another man,two to three days of Haleigh’s disappearance she has a seizure and on the day of Haleigh’s disappearance she gets a letter from Putnam County of the court hearing in March on her over $4000 back custody owed.And she would possibly being facing jailtime.

Art, I saw you on JVM last night, good show. But at the very end of the show, one of the other panelists mentioned that the sex offender that went missing at virtually the same time as Haleigh (chad reynolds) is STILL missing. I know LE says he is not of interest or cleared, but if they haven’t found him, how do they know?
Even with all this crap going on with these people, I still wonder if this could have been a stranger abduction. This is just normal everyday life for these people, they were in trouble w/ the law and drugs before and they’ll continue to be. IMO

I saw Haleigh in the bottom of a grave near RR tracks
The grave was dug for someone else.
Haleigh was killed placed in the Bottom of the grave then covered with enough dirt to hide her little body
– then the casket for the person who the grave was dug for was placed on top of Haleigh — thus No cadaver dogs would hit on a her dead body as there was another body in the grave too
The cemetary is near RR tracks
and some water is near by —
Police:
Did anyone die during the days before Haleigh went missing or within a few days either way ???? IF SO PLEASE dig up the coffin and look under it. Thats where you’ll find Haleigh

I AM AN INVENTOR AND AUTHOR and am just sick and tired of turning on the TV and seeing that another child is missing or another adult has disappeared.
We can do something about this.
Are you aware that N.A.S.A. takes videos of the entire U.S. – 24 / 7
They have night vision capability, and are able to get very detailed Video.
I have heard they can see the date on a dime from space
My question is:
Why doesn’t N.A.S.A. use its technology to give to police when someone goes missing.
They could turn over the recorded period to the police within hours from the time of the abduction.
The police could then view and zoom in on the Area of the victims home or area where the disappearance occured and see what type of activity there was around then follow any suspicious car or people seen in the video to where they next went – even at night
One case solved in this way would definitely put a BIG dent into these crimes.
This would have solved the Caylee Anthony case, The Haliegh Cummings Case, The Trenton Duckette case,
the Sandra Cantu case, the Polly Klaas Case, The Stacy and Lacy Peterson cases ……. etc etc, etc.
Why don’t they do it — The Liberals would all be crying ‘Big Brother’ and invasion of privacy

think for a moment, taking one child is not going to lesson crystal’s child support. According to fl. state statutes if you have no income or any etc.. then they base it on IE $800 possible income then say you must pay like 300 for one child and 302 for 2 kids and so on . Point is taking haleigh would not lessen her support amount significantly enough to be worth the while and it would not dispose of the past due arrears. I Dont blame her for not paying it knowing what went on in the house. Dont forget haleigh was 5, old enough to tell mommy what daddy did..
As for the love triangle well Crystal has been living contently with Chad. However Ronald has been with Amber and now Misty lets see by my calculations it shouldnt be long until Misty pops up pregnant and just before she conceives Ronald should split.

Coping not copying.
All this with NAY NAY has nothing to do with Haleigh’s being abducted in fact it has nothing to do with Ronald Misty or anyone other than NAY NAY. The Cummings here or not Haleigh abducted or not this with NAY NAY would of still happened, her life would of unfolded just the same. It is simply not relevant to the Cummings in any way at all. I agree Haleigh very well could be alive however I don’t think this weekend had anything to do with it. This with NAY NAY was a publicity stunt for Cobra. I truly dislike that man with every fiber of my being.

Pam, I think you’re right about Chad Reynolds. Early in the case I was reading one of the many blogs & Chad’s aunt was there & was telling what he was wearing when he left the house, and it was black pants, black shirt & black hat. I’m thinking Chad knows Ron or one of the party girls. If I remember right he’s also in his mid 20′s, so it wouldn’t be unusual or strange that he may know them. I think his offense was in Putnam County. Wonder if Amber knows Chad?

I’m always amazed at how little some people really know about life out there in the real world. Many of those Mexican workers that were described above, are not going to worry about a lady of the night coming in and offering her services.. may well be a once a week activity. And as far as letting a group of whites in.. Hey, they offered to let the girls in on the fun.. Oh, and I guess I need to tell you a little secret, these guys are human too, and some have no problem with drugs.. As far as the Police are concerned, their not worried about the police or breaking the law.. Any more than Greg, Nay Nay, Lindsay or Misty..
One thing about Art’s column, he does keep us aware of whats going on down there in Florida.. So, we really need to be thankful that he is keeping up with the goings on..

Do you realize cobra is the one that as broke every big lead in this case. For example the police knew about white boy and still had not interviewed him until cobra gave the information. That is just one of many examples, I love what he is doing for Haleigh. He is the only true hero in this case.

I have always thought the biological mother had her abducted. She never cried real tears and her own mother said “I don’t feel like Hayleigh is in danger”. Let’s face it these are not Rhodes scholars- I think the mother did this to get her away from Ronald Cummings and for revenge. I don’t know how she thought she would get away with it long term but she and her “fiance” need to be investigated more thoroughly. Her reaction compared to Ronald and Misty’s was quite different.

Great work Art! Keep Haleigh’s story alive; do not let it get cold. This community needs this child back home. As a parent, I cannot imagine the pain of just not knowing where my child is. I think both Ron and Crystal are in complete anguish. They express it different. Initially Ron explodes (like most fathers would) and Crystal implodes, thus the seizures. Extreme brain trauma either emotionally or physical can cause seizures. I myself have been through Chemo and it caused seizures many times. I’d never had them before.I dont know how anybody can think either one of them have anything to do with Haleighs disappearance. When I watch either of them on TV I just cry and cry. I’ve never seen such a broken man as Ron. Looking at the pictures of him and his little girl say it all. The same thing with Crystal. I know emotions are running high and people feel desparate. But I think now is the time for compassion towards the parents…Haleigh would want it that way. Just go ahead and look at several of the videos that ART HARRIS has here on his sight and look at Ron, Crystal, Junior, Haleigh, & Chad too. Now’s not the time to pass judgment. Ron & Crystal if you are reading this I hope you can get through this by the Grace of God and He gives you wisdom and strength and all that you need…in fact your kids and own parents too. Haleigh needs you to pull together for her sake. I know that because of your love for her you can do anything, even this. You would be surprised what you can do for love of your children. It will never seize to amaze you. That baby girl after all really is your heart Ronald and Crystal. If it means it will help bring her home its worth it all. Could it be that Ney Ney, Amber, and possibly another person plotted to take Haleigh? As revenge?
Think about it, they made sure Misty was supplied with enough drugs and alchol so that by the end of the weekend, she would be sure to sleep soundly from being awake and drugged for so long.
Then it would have been easy for them to walk in, wake up Haleigh and take her. All without Misty waking up from her weekend bender. Haleigh knew both Ney Ney and Amber and would have gone with them willingly.
I hope and Pray little Haleigh is safe and alive and will sonn be brought home!

I wonder why the law in Satsuma doesn’t order all of these people into rehab?
It is VERY obvious that there is a major drug problem in Satsuma. These people get arrested, but aren’t sent to rehab or anything else.
What is up with that? Can you let us know why? Where I live, people in possession of drugs, dealing drugs, etc. get sent to rehab or jail. I just don’t get why they get off so easily for something that is ruining their lives.

I still say that without seeing a Doctor there could be a chance Crystal has a mild form of epilepsy and stress triggers it, so Art do you know for sure or not if she has it?? Stress can bring or trigger it.

Chrystal is more than likely having seizures because of stress. My son is grade 3 epileptic, with grade 4 being as high as you can go. I was reprimanding him once (verbally) and said “Dont roll your eyes at me!” Little did I know he was on his way to the floor with a seizure.
I think Chrystal thought in the beginning this was Ron trying to pull another one of his pranks on her. So she wasnt all that upset. When she realized it was true, she is devastated. Hence all the seizures. So saying it is because of drugs, is a useless guess and nothing more.
Ron had Amber taking care of the kids at one point from my understanding. He knew Amber was deep into drugs, but still left his kids with her. The same with Misty. So Father of the year is not awarded here. I would like to know if the rumor was true that he left the kids in the car at night while he worked.
Also, he admitted “mommy” was paying his rent on the trailer. So he wasnt supporting his kids, food stamps and Mom was. He had a job for 3 months that we know of. Where and how long did he work before this? $10 an hour does not support a child. I understand many have to work for $10 an hour, and I have nothing against helping somene that is working, but if he can afford drugs and cigarettes, he shouldnt get food stamps.
A REAL man would be concerned about his child’s mother, just like Chrystal was concerned about him when he was crying. When she gave a broadcast, she said “Mommy and Daddy love you”. She put the child abover her own feelings, making her the better parent.
So Haleigh is Five. She has lived with her BIO MOm, Amber and now Misty caring for her, the grandmother, great grandmother and God knows who else. This is a stable environment? When most were convicted of drugs?
This is sad. Having 3 care givers on drugs and only 5 years old. At least Chrystal is cleaning herself up. She never got on the news and gave reasons why she wasnt guilty. She had no reason to explain herself.

I haven’t commented on here in a while but I love signing on and reading everyone’s perspective when I can. Thank you Art Harris for continuing to cover this story!
I wanted to say a few things that are just my personal opinion. I really don’t know that any of these characters can be taken for their word. I don’t believe that Ronald or Crystal was involved in the disappearance of their daughter. That is just me. Could I be wrong? Yes. I hope that I’m not because it sickens me to think a parent could harm his/her own child.
I understand people’s outrage over Ronald and some of the allegations that are out there. I too, find this wedding very strange. However, if you don’t trust Ronald or Misty, then you can’t really trust any of these people. The story about the prostitute friend and how they all hung around that house really disturbs me. All these people are involved in shady things and someone is not telling the whole truth. Also, I agree with others, this timeline leading up to Ronald returning home is very convenient.
I also wanted to mention the whole issue of the washer running when police arrived on the scene. Art, was Misty ever pressed about this? It just DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. If Misty was asleep for hours before she woke up and saw Haleigh had disappeared then why was the washer running? A typical cycle runs what 20-30 minutes depending on the machine. Someone started that washer right before police arrived. I would find it amazing that in her panic upon waking up, Misty decided to start a wash. If Misty didn’t start it, someone did, meaning there was someone else in that trailer. The washer alone is a huge whole in this timeline. I don’t get how the police could not grill people on this until there was an answer. I don’t know anything about this area or the state for that matter, so I don’t want to blame the police especially if they know more than they are letting on. Art, I apologize if you already responded about the washer. I try to read all the comments but there are so many, it is hard. I am glad that I am not the only one holding out hope that this case will be solved and that Haleigh can still be found alive.

She’s back at the place that Cobra took her out of and w/ her MAN, Jerome who is out on bail…$31,000. – for what? these young girls might not take care of their children, but they sure do – STAND BY THEIR MAN- sick huh? Where is HALEIGH??? You can’t tell me that there is not just one of them that know something. If all is true about this cicle of players, it sounds like this is going to be a hard case to crack. My heart goes out to all of you… Cobra- Please be safe, these people are the bottom of the barrel, they have no heart or conscience. Nay Nay and all will be in and out of jail. RanMan, you asked me to include Crystal and alluded to her seizures, implying it’s drug related. I have no way of knowing that and you don’t either. But my thoughts are with Crystal and I’m glad she has the support system around her that she does. I think KP has her best interests at heart, despite the suspicions of others.
I don’t see the similarity for that reason. It’s obvious that Nay Nay is in deep trouble and needs an intervention. Amber too, most likely, but I haven’t heard much about her lately.

Crystal has been going to the doctor to find out why shes having seizures,You should do your homework befor you post comments like that.
Cryatal has followed up on all her doctor appointments.The first seizure she had she went to the hospital they did a drug and alcohol test,and the tests came back CLEAN.

Rose: trust this isn’t a “jerk” answer…what I will tell you about the drug houses they visited…the Spanish-speaking Johns did know some of the visitors, especially Lindsay the leading lady, according to Nay Nay and Greg, because it was Lindsay and Greg who were said to be familiar with that hood…If Lindsay is jonesing, needs to get high and bartering her body is the only way…she’d likely agree to ANY deal offered…for a chauffeur with wheels and gas to put her in position to make a score…Taxis for this subrosa outting? What local cabbie is going to be wheelman for working girls in areas that are a bit risky, where he doesn’t speak the language…? Risk factor alone is going to drive it waaay up, and if the pimp is driving, well, she doesn’t get a thing usually. A 50-50 deal must have sounded sweet.
Sooooo, how I reason it from what the players told me… lots miles of two lane blacktop between St Augustine where they picked up Lindsay, the put out gal, and Crescent City, waaaaay on the other side of Satsuma via Highway 17. Your drug hole motive to lure Misty out…is interesting. But the Ronald took down a dealer has never been documented.
For me, Greg has perhaps the most crediblity, and cops seem to agree.
He’s certainly not considered a suspect, or even a person of interest…at this point.

My take on these losers is that they all are pure D white trash and it is their lifestyle and the drug activity that disgusts me, these poor kids, God knows what they have seen in their young lives and if there was ever an argument for forcing people to get sterilized it would be this whole pile of low-lifes, instead, they keep calving them out. Crystal leaves Ron only to get knocked up by some other loser, Ron has another child by some other loser and then he hooks up with this brain dead twit and I am amazed she isn’t pregnant. I think that it all comes down to Misti and I am not buying her stories, I think she did something to her based on the fact that Ron told her to whup the kids?? I think she went over board and killed Haleigh, shades of Casey Anthony and threw her on the side of the road somewhere not near the trailer park, someplace she knows that a body might never be found. And if she is found alive then she and Jr need to be placed up for adoption so that a decent family could love and cherish them. The longer Misti hides the truth, the worse it will be for her, I know she is scared to death of Ronnie Rager and LE, because she has been brought up to fear police and he apparently there in Deliverance, he is a good “catch” That is as good as it gets for TEENAGERS in Satsuma, a low-life rageaholic and a pedophile to boot. How old is Amber and she has a child by him too? Anyone else would be arrested for having sex with teens, but apparently in this low life clan, they don’t care that their teen hooks up and marries a piece of scum that is 25 years old?? And with two small children?? I don’t think mommyhood was agreeing with this twit, she wants to party more than anything else and I believe the night JR heard the couch moving, she was banging Greg and I am speculating here, but I think Haleigh came out of her room, saw what was going on, and Misti panicked thinking she would tell her Daddy and she did something to her. Putnam CO needs to get down and dirty with her. If they are so sure that it was not a stranger abduction, then why won’t they tell the public how they have came to that conclusion? And we are not talking bright people, Misti is borderline retarded, I bet she went as high as the 3rd grade and I feel if they really got on her case she would come clean as I knew for sure she has been lying ever since I saw the “Today” show interview. When asked why her stories changed, she swallowed hard, looked at the floor like she was hoping to fall through it, looked at him fearfully, and then in a small voice, “I don’t know” Not a good answer. Mark Klaas said later on Nancy that the “truth never changes” But what can you expect out of trash like this? Drugs, sex, teens having sex with men, this is their way of life and they have no one to blame if Misti killed Haleigh but themselves.

She was disgustingly harsh toward Crystal Sheffield her attorney when they were on her show, while kissing up to Ron and his mother. That’s Nancy’s style, when she is wrong, she cuts and runs, or in this case, stops talking about the case.

Crystal is very sick and it is probably due to the stress she is under because her little girl is gone!
She never said a man in black was around the Haleigh center, she just said a prowler and the press added the man is black thing on their own,,,,,Misty needs to get locked up until she decides to finally tell the truth and Ronald needs to act like a man for the first time in his life and stop trying to bully and lie his way out of this situation and get down to the bottom of where little Haleigh is!

Nancy Grace just tried to get to the truth. Crystal lost her kids for cocaine use. If she cleaned up, good. However, she had lied about it many times on television. They also lied about the black eye that Haleigh clearly got at school.
Nancy also pointed out that Crystal had a framework to take donations. She needed Halieghbug because under Florida law she could not be on the account Jamie Watts set up for Ron Cumming’s. He wanted it to be for Crystal and Ron. But since Crystal is not the custodial parent and Ron lived with Haleigh he had to remove Crystal. So, then we have Haleighbug. So why is everyone so mad a Nancy? She only wanted the truth.

Mel: I agree. NG got caught with her “pants down” so ran. I would have had more respect if she would have said “maybe I am wrong, lets start over” and then listen to Chrystal instead of brow beating her.
I think last night was funny. I turned her on and there she is with Octomom LOL. The reason she is going against her, IMO is that Octo threw Gloria alred out of her home, which happens to be NG mom, from my understanding. So she let Gloria vent on her program. That really is child endangering with the world watching and NG needs to report on it NOT!
NG is losing ratings from what I understand and it all has to do with Chrystal (indirectly).
So many kids are missing out there NG. Cover THESE kids. I am white, but wonder why no black children are seen. I know there some missing. Makes you say HMMM..Maybe Black children do not bring in the ratings? I Dont know, I am asking. Look for missing children and leave Octo alone

1. The whole issue about Greg = Pimp is debateable in terms.
You said above that it was told to you that Greg & Lindsay were the ones familiar with that “hood” .. & In Nay Nays interview she goes onto say that they = Nay Nay & Misty stayed real close to Greg & she goes onto say that they continued to take Lindsay from place to place .. So perhaps Greg is just a hired hand .. The muscle maybe .. One of them would have to say .. Greg has to make money in some way shape or form .. I heard him mumble something about workmans comp & a man with disability ?? = He doesn’t want to say how he makes money ..
2. I am not surprised that there is no documentation of Ronald having taken down a drug man in his drug hole .. Who would the guy complain to ?? Not the cops .. Because there is no evidence that Ronald actually did do this is why I said above – Whether it be true or not & alleged drug hole loot .. Just seems funny since he – Greg is being so open & willing to tell what he knows that he would throw the allegation out there like that .. Whether it was true or not perhaps someone believed it .. 3. GREG HAS LIKE ZERO CREDIBILITY .. He is 28 years old .. Has no known employment other than some mumblings about workmans comp & a man with a disability .. Lives with Momma & has 2 kids ? .. Don’t know whether he has custody but someone has to be feeding & clothing them where ever they are .. I don’t remember whether he has 1 or 2 kids .. Anyways,.. He claims that he is interested in computer graphics & had a grant to help send him to school after he graduated in 98 from Palatka High but lost it after some possession charges .. Says he would have to save up money & pay out of pocket but he’s been out of school for like 11 years .. = He’s trying to make himself out to sound like a descent guy .. This is the same guy who is having sex with a 17 year old girl & hanging out with prostitutes because they have the $$ ..

As I told you previously in an e-mail I have been watching these children go missing & or molested left & right since around 1995 or 97 ..
Some of you may remember back in the 80′s NBC would have the Sunday & Monday night movies .. Does anyone remember I KNOW MY FIRST NAME IS STEVEN ?? .. I laid on my Mammaws lap & watched that movie .. = I’m not 30 yet ..
I hear news of a child missing & or molested it hits me HARD .. My boyfriend asks me ” Why do you let all this negativity get to you” .. “Why do you watch the same things over & over .. There is nothing you can do about it” .. My response is that I cannot ignore these children because it makes my life uncomfortable .. I cannot ignore them because it makes me lose sleep at night ..He prefers to stay in his Happy Place most of the time ..
Our lives have been drastically different when it comes to out pasts .. He lived a “normal” childhood life with parents, a home, brothers & sisters, food, clothing, pets , vacations, camping ..etc.. etc..
I however did not .. I know what it’s like to be scared .. & When these children go missing & or molested I know they are so scared.
The worst thing you can do is live life thinking every issue that comes along is someone elses problem .. That you are untouchable .. Vigilance is key in everyday life ..
As I have said many times before to those who question why I am the way I am with my children .. – I’d rather be an overprotective mother than a mourning one ..
How many of you remember not long ago a story out of St. Augustine about a little boy like 9 or so that went door to door selling magazine subscriptions for the school if I remember correctly & he came up to a house where a man invited him in I guess & the man took the boy & RAPED his little body , told him not to say anything , bought a subscription from him & sent him on his way ..
Well,.. when the boy started acting out to put it mildly,.. The mother couldn’t figure out what the problem was ,.. He told her what happened .. She went to the police & basically there was no physical evidence .. I guess they went & talked to the guy & he denied it, DUH ! .. At some point later she was at an intersection ,looked over & the baby raper was there ,.. He smiled & waved to her .. That’s the last I heard of that story .. Tried to find out more but couldn’t find the original story either ..
HOW CAN THAT STORY NOT AFFECT THE PERSON WHO IS READING IT ?
Which leads me to the investigation of Haleighs disappearence .. I do feel as though they COULD BE COMING DOWN MUCH HARDER on people to get to the bottom of this but for some reason they are playing it safe .. Haleigh has been missing for 80 + days I believe ?? WHAT IS THE HOLD UP ?! I cringe everytime I read one of those officers say ..
” We are just waiting on that one tip “,.. I just can’t that they HAVE NOTHING TO GO ON .. BULL !! If that’s the truth it’s scary .. Then they need help ..

My Problems with Kristinas Story ..
1. They went place to place with Lindsay.. Wasn’t just the Mexicans .. So where all did they go ? They must have slept somewhere at some point .. Where ?
2. Why not Smoke the Mexicans dope ?
3. Misty started secretly talking to Ronald & claims she said to Misty that “you are going back to him” & Misty responds with ” no I’m not” .. So at any point between that moment & the time that Haleigh went missing did she find out that Misty had infact went back to Ronald ?
4.Passed out at Lindsays for the night & told her she was coming back but didn’t .. Why ? ..
5. Who is Donnie & why stay with him for a week ?? Is this a regular stay with him or was this one extended ? & Why ?
6. I can’t remember who called who .. But why call Misty a week later .. Why wasn’t she interested in talking to her sometime before then .. or If Misty called her why would she – Misty shortly thereafter hang up under the assumption that the phones were tapped ? .. What is her take on that phone call if it was that way ??
7. Why did Amber have her car ? Specifically .. The truth about the damage .. Person who allegedly was hired by Amber to push it out??
8. Accused Mistys Mother & Sister of stopping her trying to find out where Greg lived ?? .. Misty knows where Greg lives .. She was there talking to Gregs Mom & looking at Family Photos with Kristina at Gregs house ..

1. He was also clueless about the disappearence of Haleigh for an extended time .. & claims to have found out only after a neighbor told his mom did he become aware of the situation .. ?? Really .. 2. He read your website & was surprised that the law would want to talk to him .. Really ??
3. He talked to Misty that Monday & she said she would call him back but never did & he never called her back ?? Why ?
4.You asked him where all this drug consumption & sex went on at & he dodged the question & wanted to start back from the beginning on how he met her .. Sounds Rehearsed .. You were messing with his story .. He never did answer the question..
5. He took a lie detector test & passed .. WoW .. & What agency is performing these tests & is it the same examiner
each time ?? Don’t they take a few minutes to examine the answers before saying .. Your cleared .. How in depth was the questioning ?
6.Poor Greg was drug into this mess because of Misty & he was living a quiet little life until this all came along ??

MEL, I’d say she’s not discussing the case because there’s nothing new to discuss. She’s a very seasoned lawyer and former prosecutor. I don’t discount her feelings in the least. She does need to be a bit more leary of Ron and Misty, but she’s definitely asking the right questions where the others are concerned. There ARE inconsistancies on BOTH sides…she just happens to be ballsy enough to confront Kim on the inconsistancies, and not let her bully bully her into being quiet re: her concerns. Her gut feeling has gotten her this far in life, and I’d say it’s not letting her down now. Sure she can be annoying, and slightly over-dramatic…but she’s also DAMN smart.

Nikki, LE in Satuma is very experienced, and they aren’t working alone. FBI, state investigators, and other agencies across the country (as Art has mentioned) are working together to solve this case. No 2 cases are the same, and can’t be conducted the same. How long was Elizabeth Smart missing with no trace? How ’bout Jon Benet? All leads pointed to the family, not unlike this case, but it turns out the family was cleared, after years of scorn and scrutiny, and sadly, continued even after Patsy Ramsey’s death. That woman died having been convicted by the court of public opinion for murdering her daughter, and all because the public demanded justice for Jon Benet, and were positive the family was involved. I can’t imagine having to live that way, can you?

This is ridiculous,Why do some of you think Crystal took Haleigh?.That wouldn’t stop her from having to pay child support.If the child support was an issue she would have taken BOTH kids not just Haleigh.I believe Misty knows more then what shes saying or she did something and some one helped her.
I don’t believe Crystal has anything to do with Haleigh’s disappearance.I’am so sick of people bring up that Crystal is behind of her child support.I’m not saying it’s right that shes behind but things happen to where you can’t pay.

Crystal lives 2 + hours away.She was home when she got the call about Haleigh missing.Even LE said that if you read all the news websites.Crystal has only tooken ONE polygraph test,and has been questioned ONCE.
How many times has Misty been to the Sheriff’s Office.How many polygraph tests has Misty took (3).LE interviewed Misty over 30 hours shes the one whos lying.She knows more then what shes saying,either she did something to Haleigh or she knows what really happened.LE is saying they know Misty is lying.They are not saying Crystal is lying so what does that tell you?.
Crystal DID NOT take Haleigh!.I believe in Crystal she is a mom who is missing her daughter and wants her home safe.

I just watchd Misty’s first interveiw with News4jax again. WTH she said her blankets were in the van that they toke so she got one off the wall, LE didn’t take the van until after Haleigh was gone. So the blankets and van was there when they went to bed. It makes no sense, so much lies about the blankets and rambling that when you first listen to it you don’t hear all the lies!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so greg said he was supposed to meet misty monday and nay nay said misty wanted her to come help watch the kids. gregs reason for not going was misty’s dad was in the hospital well visiting hours end at 8 pm. Just about the time misty puts the kids to bed. g-ma was there earlier, the ac guy before that and her brother also was there. she also picked haleigh up from the bus so when did she visit her dad and when did he have his wreck..
moral is so greg and nay nay both changed there minds about visiting misty that night.. think not. there was a party going on and it probably disturbed haleigh’s sleep and after seeing nay nay and haleigh knows daddy doesnt want her at the house she probably said oohh i’m gonna tell daddy and there it began..
why did misty start her sentence on an interview i would never do anything with / to that little girl. And why did she say haleigh couldnt even fight back. what about when she said they took my bed they took my blanket. which blanket is it, hers or haleigh’s, just like which bed was she in.
they really need to question misty and ask her what she had for supper did she bath did haleigh bath. oh yeah speaking of how did haleigh according to misty have on the same shirt she wore to school. did she not bath her after playing outside that evening, according to neighbors. hmm lots of holes.

To whoever said they must have slept somewhere at some point. These are drug addicts and they may not have slept.
Which would make Misty really tired. Maybe so tired she went to be before Haleigh and Junior. Maybe she just does not want to seem like a “bad mom” and say she did. Maybe Misty does not know where Haleigh was sleeping because Haleigh was up when Misty went to bed. Putting in a movie for them and falling asleep. Also, all this fuss about the back door being locked. The person could have come in another way and gone out the back as not to be seen. It could be they think it was locked and were mistaken. Then the fuss about who turns on a light. Well, Haleigh is afraid of the dark maybe she got up and turned on the light.
Maybe she surprised someone that came to steal. Like the cousin. Perhaps the person that did this new the family and could make an excuse if they were discovered. Perhaps they figured if Misty woke up they would kill her. Many reasons could exist for what people are taking as proof that Ron or Misty did something to Haleigh. Also, this thing about Misty telling the “kids” to pile in at the school as proof that Ron did not pick Haleigh up. Who are these kids? Haleigh is one child so who is piling in? Could this be Chelsea and her kids, since she had the van and not Misty?
When Ron’s mom says the last time she saw Haleigh was when she picked her up from school why do you assume it was the day she went missing? She does not live with Haleigh. Maybe she picked her up the day before. I have not seen that interview but really it seems like some people are just out to lynch Ron Cummings. People that will not even consider other options. Even with 44 sex offenders in the area and many more that are not registered. No, they are not all monitored. If they were why did LE even talk to them all?
If they new where they all were. And what time were these sex offenders in their home zones? Could Misty have gone to sleep or gone out earlier than she told LE. If that is the case then were all these sex offenders still in their home zones? What is a home zone? Because one is just down the street and around the corner from Haleigh.

In my opinion…I think Ron killed Haleigh ( child abuse turned fatal) And Misty witnessed it. She is young dumb and in love…and covering up for him? She has changed so much since she has been with him she looks more drugged up, she has that battered woman look…In my opinion He has her right where he wants her, everyone is blaming her.And soon she may disapear too or unexplain overdose….because she know too much. I just did not think Nancy Grace was way out of line, and yes the focus is the main issue, starting with Geraldo things really went to hell although, when I heard Marie Griffis early on I knew it was a smack down and only going to get worse. If NG is loosing ratings it may be because people are tired of CMA. I know I actually watch when it is about Haleigh or other missing children but I do not watch CMA, I am sick of it. Haleigh was in school and seen by others the day she disappeared. If she had any signs of abuse the school would have reported it. They are required to report suspected abuse. To believe Ron did something to her days earlier and no one noticed it is ridiculous.

Art I believe you if you say so but if Chad Renyolds was not wearing an electronic monitoring device I tend to believe he must not be the only one. His record would make me very interested in him. What about if Misty is off on the time for whatever reason, then are any of these slime back in? If WBG knows something sounds like Cobra will find out. But if LE polygraphed him early on, and you and LE say he is so credible, I would think nothing is there to be found out. You know Greg, you think he would do that? I hope this beautiful girl is alive. I do. The only way I see that as likely is if custody is a motive. I posted a few weeks ago that I thought it was Donald L. Sapp that took Haleigh. I am not sure where he would fit into the circle though, family by marriage or friend by marriage?
Basis of theory:
He was there with Misty’s brother, Tim and sister-in-law, Chelsea and had been staying with them for two weeks prior to Haleigh missing.
is a registered sex offender (only during this time he was registered in Crescent City but staying with Tim and Chelsea. Law enforcement would have no reason to look for a sex offender living in that trailer)
he likes girls this age prior arrest for 5-7 and 10-11, currently out on bond- pending trial for trying to kidnap a girl he met on the computer – that would have happened if the girls WISE SMART DAD (HIGH FIVE TO THIS DAD FOR BEING INVOLVED WITH HIS DAUGHTER WHILE ONLINE, HE MAY HAVE SAVED HER LIFE) dad caught on to what Donald was up to and called LE they got involved and waited at the meeting site and arrested the scum bag pedophile.
it has been said he was working on a trailer not far from Misty’s brother Tim’s and Misty and Ron’s trailer (he now lives in that trailer) wonder if he held her there, as the trailer was listed vacant or moved her between Crescent City and the vacant trailer? (used Misty’s van maybe),
Haleigh would have went with him she knows him and just that weekend prior had been having fun with him and other children (scary huh) on a trampoline- this came from Teressa Nevis that Haleigh would have went with him after spending fun time with him.

I emailed Misty to ask her thoughts on Donald L Sapp and she said LE had interviewed him and up until the time they talked to him he was helpful and trying to console everyone then turned cold what she called stand offish, if that is a word and never comes around much if at all. Is Cobra upset that people sent Ron Cumming’s money and are not sending it to Cobra? That’s what it sounds like from this interview someone posted. I understand that concern since he is spending money to look for Haleigh. I believe Cobra does care about Haleigh. However, it is wrong to say Ron does not care because he is not buying Cobra gas or paying for his meals. Is Crystal funding Cobra? I mean if she is not putting gas in Cobra’s car or buying Cobra dinner why is he not complaining about Crystal. Crystal has a 1-800 number to take donations. Many people have said they have sent Crystal cash, checks and called this number.
Crystal has said she was staying with family and she did not have a job before all this so I would think she could afford to help Cobra. Especially Since Cobra is so clearly on the side of Crystal and Kim Picazio. Based on how Crystal has answered questions about her own daughter. I am not sure that is Haleigh’s side at all. The judge did not think so either, did he. Maybe Crystal can put Cobra up at a relative’s home or Haleigh bug. Save on hotel money. The way Cobra treated this Nay Nay and this video that made it look like she kidnapped Haleigh was just wrong. It was pure exploitation of this girl. My respect has gone way down for Cobra.

Nancy Grace is not the daughter of Gloria Alred. Gloria’s daughter is Lisa Bloom. Anyone can post on Wikapedia and sometimes it takes time for them to correct wrong information. I think that is was great that someone confronted Crystal and her Lawyer. After all it did end up they were lying. Make a playground injury seem like child abuse. I think Nancy was easy on Crystal. She did not bring up many facts in the record that prove Crystal was lying. She only brought out a few. Both parents totally had my support. Then Crystal and her mom started telling obvious lies about the loss of custody. Then they lied about the lie and brought up Ron’s drug history. A drug history the judge said was irrelevant because Crystal had her own record. They pulled this my cousin, my people crap they tried in court. Judges sift through bullshit. They do it all day long and are very good at it. Apparently the media and public are not good at detecting bullshit. I wonder why everyone that thinks Ron did not hurt Haleigh is called names on this site? Told they are part of Ron’s family. Could it be because Crystal’s entire family and friends are posting these comments? I noticed Crystal was real concerned about how she is being viewed online. Saying people should not comment if they do not know her. If she did not want to be called a liar, she should have been honest. Really it is that simple. This reminds me so much of how the Lundsford case was going till they caught the creep who did it. People should not blame unless they are really sure they have credible information. Just wanted to post to let you all know that I have lived in Satsuma my whole life nothing to brag about i assure you im getting out and taking my girls with me. Now as for local LE most of them are not doing anything about the drugs and kids because A.Their afraid or B.their using or selling or getting their share of the profits.Drugs and prostitution are rampant and LE just ride on by and do nothing,if we all know where they are,they know where they are, and still do nothing,you cant let your kids or your property out of your sight. Also I have heard that ron did rip off a drug dealer and the retaliation was his child.I would also like to know why and how they all can suddenly afford to get married buy rings shopping ect… I personally saw crystal shopping at J.C penneys 2 weeks after the baby went missing with her friends buying flip flops having a good ol time i wanted to snatch her up my girlfriend had to get me out of there.anyways if that was my baby you would of had to drag me out of there kicking and screaming i still be wet and dirty out there seaching i damn sure wouldnt be shopping and getting my nails done or eating out and getting married. anyways sorry im really mad about the whole thing they are not good people or parents.

I believe Misty is the one that LE should be looking for, she either done away with Haleigh herself, or she knows who did….I wish LE could bring her in and lock her up and to hell with her rightsm what rights did Haleigh have against her…..none…..LE needs to find that one important clue that will break this case wide open, but everyday that passes by is another day that Haleigh is gone, and if she is dead instead of alive then her little body is getting more and more decomposed, its gonna be hard to tell what the real story is if her remains are not found soon………God Bless Haleigh!!!!!!!!

Siloblue-Alot of great points made. I agree on alot of what you are saying. I have put some thought myself into what WBG said about holding up someone. I have thought retaliation also in this case. I myself find out Ron married Misty knowing about weekend prior and fact she was with prostitute and drug house. Could she have stolen something from this house? Maybe tell Ron what kind of stash mexicans had, he came rob for money, drugs or both? They waited for Misty to leave that night and took Haleigh. They want what is theres, and Ron spent it. I remember saying he was pretty sure who took her. I think he knew then. Was he thinking the guy I robbed, maybe Crystal?

Llisa: First let me say that the reason NG upset me most is not because of that fact it was Chrystal, but because of the fact that she did not want Chrystal’s lawyer or Chrystal to speak and obviously took up for Ron when the investigation had just started.
I do not believe Kim and Chrystal lied about haleigh’s injurys. If you look at her face, it DOES progressivly get worse and looks like another injury. And Ron put those welts on Jr because he SAID he did. What does a 4 year old do to warrant the BELT?????
Ron got ample time to talk NG, calling her Ms Nancy, acting all sweet. If you think he is innocent, I have some swamp land for sale down there in Florida I will sell you……
And why would you care if other bloggers tell you not to read something? Why would other bloggers tell you that? Are you easy to manipulate? Cant think on your own? Why even mention it? TJ hart has some bad reviews too, but I read his stuff off and On. I just trust Art with what he says and if he is wrong, he will say so.
Like I said before, CObra is rude , crude and to the point. You cant worry yourself about image if you are serious about what you are doing. I love the guy. And Chrystal beaters have nothing to go on because she does not care what you are saying about her, unlike mommy’s boy Ron, she is looking for her kid. They both did wrong with the custody. But the fact is, Ron STOLE the kids from her because in Florida if you are not married, the mom has custody until the courts say otherwise. Why was Ron not charged with kidnapping back then? Makes you go Hmmm.

Becca,I am glad you brought up the fact that Crystal is unable to receive money from the fund set up by Jamie Watts because whoever set up the following site has directed funds for Crystal to be sent to Jamie Watts http://www.findhaleigh.com ,wonder what’s up with that, a little misleading if you ask me. Art Llisa says she gets a lot of e-mails from people about your site being biased, I am all over the net on numerous Haleigh blogs and trust me if bloggers opinions mattered that much no site would have any hits because it is quite obvious from reading posts all over that at least 95% of people favor Crystal over Ron. I think both of them were probably questionable as parents but instead of seeing both sides it seems like people who are for Ron say Crystal lies and vice versa. I think they both have probably told some lies but Ron is making himself look bad in the public eye by the way he has conducted himself coming out the gate, starting with the 911 call and going forward.Bottom line people come here for the info that you have and it doesn’t matter who’s side your readers are on, WE ARE ALL ON HALEIGH’S SIDE!!!So keep up the good work and if a few narrowminded bloggers won’t come here because of YOUR public’s opinion, not your’s then so be it. There are plenty of us who still beleive in what you are doing!!!Thank’s for all you do in keeping Haleigh’s name in the news, not Ron’s, Misty’s, Crystal’s or anyone else’s name just HALEIGH’S!!!

Ethel, Jamie Watts wanted to collect for Crystal. He was not allowed. The website you are talking about is not set up by anyone in any of the families, that was addressed early on. Jamie Watts is a honest person so lets not try and make him seem dishonest. If someone sent Crystal money he would give it to her. He just can’t have her on the fund, that is the law. Deal with it.

Gayle, if after seeing the documentation of the progression of Haleigh’s injuries you still believe Ron Cumming’s caused them, clearly you just want to believe anything bad about Ron Cumming’s. Clearly this was an accident and it was photographed as well as documented by the school and the E.R. Both are mandated to report abuse. Kim Picazio knew that I am sure. Also kids with Turner’s take immune meds that make bruising easy.

Well I do not think this is Crystal’s site. I was just letting Art know that many people interested in this case have told me to avoid this site, that it can be misleading.
Maybe they meant the comments but I do not think so. If I want to let Art know that people feel that way, I will. I would think that Art would want people to come to his site.
Also assuming that you are correct and 90 percent of the people support Crystal. Then I assume Crystal has received 90 percent of the money. That only makes sense if I follow your logic. Maybe she should cough some up to Cobra. Instead of all this talk about him and how he should not be taking donations because she already funds him. Since she had no job, she should be able to spare some of her 90 percent. I mean so many of you say Ron is so rich from his donations, he is buying Cars with donation money according to Cobra, spending thousands at the fair according to Naples Fls, wow if Ron is so rich and 90 percent of the public supports Crystal. Crystal must have 9 times the donation money. She must be really rich.

you might wanna watch crystal’s last interview if you think she doesn’t care what we think. she had 3.5 minutes to talk about haleigh and the only thing she brought up was how she was pissed people were talking about her ’cause they don’t know her. she’s not looking for her daughter. she’s not even contributing. as for the courts, 3 judges said “otherwise” (ie that she’s not a fit parent). how many need to?

One question of all posters here. The Pow-wow between Ron and the LE task force (with his lawyer) has not appeared to have happened.
My question is Ron and Misty being cooperative? Does anyone percieve deception and a defensive posture.
Does any discussion and speculation count if LE continues to point at Misty and Ron whom are hiding behind lawyers. Let the excuses begin.
