Exclusive: “Ronald Cummings Tried to Kill Me!”

Just when we think the dysfunctional dynamics in Satsuma, Florida can’t get any stranger among rival clans of missing five year old Haleigh Cummings, Misty Cummings’ father, Hank Croslin, now accuses his new son in law, Ronald, of trying to poison him with painkillers he apparently thought would take away aches from a recent car accident, but made him violently ill instead.
“He believes Ronald Cummings was trying to kill him,” according to an official police “suspicious incident” report obtained exclusively by The Bald Truth that reveals a family that pops pills together, sticks together, unless, well, someone reports a bummer. Could this mean a Ronald-Misty rift might be looming?
According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department deputy, who answered the call the weekend before last, “Hank said that he regularly gets prescription pills from Ronald, including xanex and roxicet.”
Misty’s father related that he’d asked “Ronald if he had any xanex, and Ronald pulled several pills from out of his pocket, and gave Hank one,” the report goes on.
“ Hank said that Ronald never told him what the pill was, and that he did not know what the pill was. Hank described the pill as being small, round, and white. Ronald also gave Hank’s son one of the pills,” says the report.
“Hank would not identify his son, but he said that his son later told him that he identified the pill as a muscle relaxant,” the deputy wrote.
“Hank said that he voluntarily took the pill, and it made him very ill.
“Hank said that he was in a coma for four (4) days following the incident, and believes that Ronald provided the pill to him with the intent to harm him….He believes that Ronald Cummings was trying to kill him.”
But William Staubs, private investigator and bounty hunter, tells me he met with the Croslin’s Monday, and family members explained that the pill didn’t induce the coma– doctors did deliberately after Croslin aspirated on his own vomit and nearly died. Cobra said family tried to downplay the incident. He told them he was worried for Misty.
I asked the sheriff’s department why no one was arrested. “On the surface, it appears illegal, but didn’t rise to the level to make a case,” a major told me. “No money changed hands.”
In related ER matters, early Monday, Haleigh’s mother, Crystal Sheffield, while hanging at the Haleighbug command post on Highway 17 with her sister, Sarah, was rushed to the emergency room after blacking out from another apparent seizure, falling and hitting hear head, blood gushing everywhere.
Family members also tell me paramedics found her woozy and, Cobra, who raced to the scene with her attorney, Kim Picazio, says he found an ax on the floor, an apparent weapon Crystal had armed herself with to ward off a possible stalker her sister said they’d spotted “wearing all black,” and lurking outside.
No stalker was found, said Cobra.
After she was treated and released, her fiance, Chad Griffis, tells me she’s now home resting, and neurological tests are being scheduled.

Croslin is fully responsible for this one. If you take a pill from someone, especially if you don’t know what it is, you are an idiot. His hands are as dirty as Ronald’s in this one. Do I think ol’ Ronald is capable of this sort of thing? Hell yes, but it can only be as successful as the person who takes the unknown pill. I do agree that Misty should probably be worried. I’ve never thought she was a babe in the woods, but she is way out of her league with this family.
To Crystal – I’m sorry to hear about your latest seizure. Having suffered from them myself the last few years, I can’t imagine dealing with them under the stressful situations you have found yourself in. My prayers are with you.

Okay,so the whole story is Ronald was given downers as most parents,when their child is missing to take for stress.He gave his father in law one,and since Hank’s been taking other pain medicine from his accident,he had a bad reaction.And Crystal had another seizure and a hatchet was in there for her own protection.Art,I do hope articles and comments will be more in line with actual happenings.This is a good opportunity for internet writers to gain respect.I see too many blogs that have fallen into tabloid rumors.Many people are getting info from your site,so I hope it comes out right the first reporting,so it won’t have to be adjusted in the comment section.

When all is said and Done this is going to make for a great TV movie. these people are all characters. NOthing that comes out about this group of people shocks me anymore. I pray to God that all of this is from pressure of haleigh getting ready to soon be found and the perp/s getting ready to be nailed. Thanks again Art, You rock!!!!!!!!!

As the world turns….OMG, another wacky episode in the lives of the Cummings, and Coslin’s…Hank was dumb in taking meds that weren’t subscribed by his Dr., and especially anything from Ronald Cummings! The little round, white pill sounds like Tylenol w/codeine…Some people, as I am, are allergic to codeine, and the reactions can be deadly, or make you wish you were dead…The whole town seems to be into street drugs, passing them around like candy…
I think Crystal is having a huge breakdown from the loss of Haleigh.. Stress can, and does cause health problems..Every day for her is a living hell…I can only imagine what she is going through…My prayers are with her, Haleigh, Jr.,and Chloe..

What an idiot!! Who the he77 takes a pill they can’t even identify? Why was he asking for Xanax anyway, Xanax is not for pain, and if he’s gotten them before he should know what they look like. Art: This is what I think happened to Haleigh.
Misty called Ron crying because she couldn’t handle Haleigh.She wasn’t listening to Misty and she wouldn’t go to bed.Misty prolly got mad and gave something (Pill) to put Haleigh to sleep and something happened.
I remember Misty said in the beginning of this crazy case she was washing blankets because Haleigh peed on hers.Something happened to Haleigh Misty put Haleigh in the blankets took Haleigh some where.
Took the blankets back to the house with her so if some some one did find Haleigh the blankets wouldn’t lead back to the house.Misty came home and washed the blankets so any of Haleigh’s DNA or any body fluids wouldn’t be on the blankets.
On a news interview Misty said “some one took the van with the blankets “.I will post Misty’s news interview and the 911 call.

I for got to ask you.Do you know if LE and FBI took the blankets Misty was washing for evidence?
I know they can still get some DNA from the blankets or evidence even though they been washed.I know In the Casey/Caylee Anthony case when Cindy Anthony washed Casey’s pants LE still got DNA and evidence from Casey’s pants.
I hope LE down there were smart enough to get the blankets.If they didn’t that could be evidence that is now gone.Maybe LE can go back and get the blankets.

Well does Ronald have a license to dispense medication without a prescription. That could be dangerous not knowing someone’s health history (ie drug allergies or interaction with other medication), potentially fatal in the right circumstances. Let alone the fact, does he have a prescription for all the “drugs” he has in his pocket passing around like candy. Oh I forgot his daughter is missing so he can get away with murder and i mean MURDER. Not matter what happened to haleigh he’s responsible to some extent. Besides that most people that get caught with pills in there pocket go to jail. So tell me again how many crimes he has gotten away with here. Daughter gone or not there are people elsewhere getting arrested for the same crimes that he’s getting away with. The only one people should feel sorry for is Haleigh. She lived in this mess and hearsay or not it usually starts from a little bit of truth. However I dont think Ronald did anything to Haleigh I think it was his newly wife Misty. HAVE YOU SEEN anyone having a nicotine fit, pretty testy . How about someone coming down off cocaine, roxies, xanex, alcohol, and what ever else we dont know about. Then put a 5 and 4 year old with the stressor to get the kid up early the next morning and not be late for school. Most likely not a pretty site. Just watch people going through withdraws. Poor Haleigh.

Here we go again! You give someone a drug and because no money exchanged hands, it isn’t illegal? I would like to know what he was doing with these drugs? Is he prescribed muscle relaxers, xanex, and roxicet. My guess is no.

Art, that first sentence says it all. Dysfunctional at its best. Trying to kill his father-in-law sounds a little too dramatic. Definitely puts a kink in the family relations between Ronald and Misty and her father/family.
Sitting here shaking my head in disbelief of this whole circus.
I hope Crystal is ok and they find out what is causing the seizures and blackouts.

Forgot to mention in an interview Misty’s mom said that Haleigh and her little brother were fighting (disagreeing), over what movie they wanted to watch that night, maybe this is what provoked Misty. She then said in the interview that Haleigh’s bed was at the foot of Misty’s bed. So why on the video clips was it beside Misty’s bed. She also said Misty took the little boy to watch a movie in the living room. Think it makes sense she beat haleigh uncontrollable, pulls her mattress to the foot of the bed out of sight, while her and the boy are on the couch. She didnt want the brother to see his sister laying there on her bed so she moved it. Then waited until he went to sleep and from there who nows. I heard she called her mom when haleigh went missing. Not sure if that is true curious to know though. Maybe Misty’s brother helped her, maybe it was greg who knows she obviously needed a vehicle to do whatever. What about her brother’s van again why was it taken in to custody..

Naples–This is a police report. Hank called the cops. A deputy shows up. He shares what he said happened. Deputy writes it down and writes it up. No further action taken. Unclear if Hank pressed it, and if not, why not…I tried to reach the Croslin’s for comment; one cell phone I have has been disconnected temporarily. Cobra happened to have gone to the house. He was received well by all, except Misty’s Mom, Lisa Croslin, who was irate he was there, he told me. Now that we’ve both been told there’s an offer of immunity for anyone who can crack the case and finger the snatcher, even if they might be involved…Cobra has his ear to the ground and making the rounds, referring all tips to the task force.

Just a few days after Haleigh went missing I could have sworn Ron’s boss was interviewed and he said Ron got a call while work about Haleigh missing. But I’ve never heard that statement repeated. All that’s been said since is that Ron was in the driveway when he saw Misty at the front door yelling to him that Haleigh was missing.
Can you clarify if Ron got a call at work or if he first learned Haleigh was missing when he drove up in the driveway?? Surely ALL phone records have been looked at!

I thought it was against the law to give another person prescribed medication, whether money exchanged hands or not. I also thought it was against the law to take medication not prescribed to you.
I do think Mr. Croslin over reacted though. If he doesn’t want a bad reaction, maybe he should get his doctor to prescribe him some of his own. It’s never a good idea to take medication that isn’t yours; you can never be too sure what you may be allergic to, or what may interact with any other medication you take.

Why does anyone in this family need immunity if none of them done anything to Haleigh or knows where she is?.So Ron and Misty say.

What a crockpot full of crap! Perhaps there is a “special reason” ole Hank is trying to blame Cummings for his own bulls$%t. Hank got the pills from Mistymouse who said they come from RC,when actually they came from Mistys buddies.Least that’s what “my” sources told me.Why would ole Hank not go get his own scrip anyway. He can get them legally since he is recovering from an accident,unless,maybe his doctor cut him off because of prior historys with prescription pain killers.Anyway,he should be arrested for being a dumbass.He is no stranger to the world of pain killers .I ain’t buying his rediculous story. Perhaps ole Hank is starting to run scared. Maybe he realizes that half his family may be going to prison in the near future ,as well as himself personally for accessory after the fact and witholding evidence concerning a serious crime. After reading that, I had really bad flashbacks of Murt and all that crap that went with it. If he need funding so bad, why doesnt he go ask Putnam County LE, cause apparently they have plenty of money and dont need to arrest people for giving out prescription drugs illegally. It’s hearsay to LE, unless they actually find illegal drugs on Ron, or if he is in the process of selling drugs…I doubt the plea of immunity will be effective in someone telling of what happened to Haleigh…The person who knows is walking around carefree, and not likely to be charged with her murder.

I am a single mom of two beautiful girls, (one is named haleigh) anyway I want to send a donation to help fund cobra. but It may only be 20 dollars or so at time. wish I could do more, bc I know 20 won’t help much. Haleigh needs Cobra there!

Does anyone realize how ridiculous this all sounds? First off, a muscle relaxer is hardly going to kill a man!!! And secondly, you ask Ron for drugs and then want to accuse him of killing you….c’mon here, get real. And what father would do that to his daughter….throw her husband under the bus with statements of that magnitude that have no truth or bias to them. I am in the medical field and I can attest to the fact that it would take a WHOLE LOT more than one muscle relaxer (which is typically small, round and white) to do much of anything and surely isn’t putting someone in a coma. The truth that Cobra uncovered sounds more viable…that he had other issues that caused it. AND, even in the far stretched theory that he may have gotten sick on the darn thing, how does that compute to “Ronald was trying to kill him”. Good grief, do you know anyone who would voluntarily ask their potential killer for drugs!!!! Sounds so darn ridiculous, all I can do is laugh at it all! I can’t believe that this is what this story has gotten to. Its just like a big ol’ soap opera instead of the quest to find this missing 5-year-old. Unbelievable!!!! And I am not a #1 Ronald Cummings fan or anything…but this is a bit much!!!

The smallest, mildest Xanax there is (alprazolam is the generic) is small, round, and white. They’re the .25mg’s. Got a whole bottle of them in the medicine cabinet that they gave me when my sister died. But then again, the morphine tablets my sis was taking before she died of a brain tumor were small, round, and white.

TA–The Misty interview you recall is the one she did with me weeks ago outside the Satsuma convenience store; Ronald was inside buying cigs; and she was hanging with Teresa Neves in Ron’s white pickup with Only God Can Judge Me on the window. JVM played a clip of it tonight at the end of our segment with artharris.com on it…I asked her about the movies and there did seem to be some discrepencies. A police source tells me that the VCR was too high for Haleigh to climb up and change herself, so question is how did that happen if it could have happened as I believe Misty mentioned was possible…
As far as the blue family van, i was there the day LE returned it, all dusted down with white fingerprint powder, dusty on the outside and a giant scratch on the side, where someone scraped something…a branch driving through the woods? A vandal with a key? LE isn’t talking about the forensics on the van, but if they’d found blood with luminol or something truly evidentiary, it’s been my experience, they would have kept it impounded on a police lot to protect the chain of evidence in custody.
Oh, that was the same van Misty drove to pick up Haleigh the last day from school when she got off the bus, parents at the bus stop tell me…No one ever saw Ronald or his mother, Teresa Neves, who both claimed they were the carpool drivers respectively. And Cobra says Ronald told him that he let Haleigh sit on his lap and hold the steering wheel, even put on the blinker when they turned down his driveway….Okay.

That’s EXACTLY how he got away with it!! He knows just enough about the law to be ignorant enough to think he won’t eventually get caught, and how to do it so there’s no real proof. Art, they did clear up the part about Teresa Neves saying she picked up Haleigh. The transcript of the video says “I picked her up,” but in the video she says “my son picked her up.” Still doesn’t explain why the neighbors saw Misty picking her up though.

Gosh, Art, I didn’t mean to come across as a wannabe anything nor is it my intention to make things hard on any one. I am just an ol retired granny in Central Texas that faithfully watches all the updates on Haleigh as well as the other youngsters that are missing as I have a 7 yr old granddaughter and my heart breaks for the loved ones of the missing kids!
I, myself, heard the interview (the boss was being interviewed via phone) but unfortunately I don’t remember which show it was on. I regularly watch NG, HLN, JVM, and Greta so it had to have been one of those shows. It was on within the first week or two after Haleigh went missing. I WAS wondering why the boss’ statement has never been brought up again since it directly contridicted the story Ron and Misty told!

Art, you’ve been doing a wonderful job on this case!!! Im so happy that someone is showing they are still concerned about the whereabouts of this child. Im frustrated at local news agencies who havent even mentioned haleigh at all and are still on the caylee thing, not that I do not think that caylee is worthy of attention, but she has been FOUND. HAYLEIGH, and many other little missing children, HAVE not been found!!! I cant wait to become a pi. I want to personally work and learn from Cobra…but it will have to wait till my own little kiddies grow up and I dont have to worry about protecting them, too bad so many players in this case did not think that way about Haleigh. I wont mention names but Im sure everyone knows what I mean, that child seemed like she didnt have a chance in that enviornment! I also agree with the other posters here about the fact that Ron seems to get away with alot when it comes to LE, how is that possible? I think administering prescription meds to someone else, IIRC, is totally illegal isnt it???

Art, you are basically saying that both Ron and Teresa LIED about picking Haleigh up at the bus stop. I have felt from day one that Teresa enables and babies Ron so if she would lie about that, what else would she lie about? Just because she works in law enforcement doesn’t mean a hill of beans to me.
Also, someone said it was “confirmed” Ron was not at work from 6pm to 8pm. Another web rumor or do you have solid, viable proof of that? And, if so..that would mean Ggma Sykes lied about seeing Haleigh, Jr. and Misty on the porch the night of 02/0/09. Also, she reported that “sighting/visit” 9 days after Haleigh went missing. I think both Teresa and Ggma Sykes definitely know more than they are telling. I DO not think they were in any way directly involved, but I do think they know their son and DIL are involved and have known this from the get-go. They both know Ron’s hair-trigger temper for sure. They know he has a major drug/criminal history, I have suspected Ron from day one and have never believed his CROCK-a-dile tears or his falling to the ground and all the b.s. drama. Also, I would love to see Cobra put the pressure on Teresa as long as she doesn’t drag his ass out into the woods with all the horrible snakes and the pig pits.
This entire family on both sides (sans Crystal) IMO is in this thing up to their eyeballs. I pray you get the funding you & Cobra need to keep the search going. I cannot believe the Haleighbug Foundation or Kim P. or even Rev. Grund cannot assist if they have not already!!

Does Ronald have a prescription for the muscle relaxants? If so why is HE taking them. I know this is private information. If not, where I come from that is dealing presciption medications without a licsense-which is illegal. And the story goes on! Wow, never heard of roxies, but oxycotin is pretty strong. My teenage daughter had this prescribed to her after foot surgery. The first one she took got her higher than a kite. Her tounge was hanging out her mouth, just lolling around. She had no control. Her eyes were at the back of her head, and she was bawling uncontrolably from the fear of her high. I had to take her back to the ER. No more of those. But in retelling the story i learned those little pills resell for 20.00 a pill. Nice business he’s got going on, so thats where he gets his money.

Art, good job getting LE to talk. They need to if they want to solve this case. I really hope the police got a chance to interview Jr right away. The only theory I can come up with is that Haleigh was suffocated, because there would be no blood, and it could appear to Jr that his sister was “sleeping”. He may have been aware of a fight, or spanking? At 4 they haven’t learned to lie yet.
I am confused over the dogs hitting on the dumpster. Like Art said, if the car had blood, the cops would have kept the car. Why would 3 different dogs hit on the same spot? And nothing? All 3 were wrong? Hmmm
At this stage of the game, we need to find her , and the only way that can happen is if the police give us more info to keep this case fresh.

Hank is a grown man and if he accepts pills from his son-in-law, he needs to deal with the consequences. That’s so stupid! Why would Ron want to kill him? Go ahead and call the police and use up all their revenue. Working individuals are paying for those runs. Working individuals???? In the Croslin and Cummings clan? Not! Save the police funds so they can continue looking for Precious.

Good Evening all , and thanks Art for this blog . It’s really the only one giving updates on Haleigh . Ronald seems to have a horse shoe up his a$$ so far that it just might end up choking on it or shitting it out the other end . He is an angry man LONG before Haleigh went missing , it just seems to be coming out more an more , so it seems .
In Crystal’s defense , she may of not been there as a mother should of but I think her hands were tied . She may of called to talk to the kids every day and Ronald would of made up excuses as to why she couldn’t talk to them , whether it be sickness , or just out refusing to let her . It’s all really up to him as to what contact they have in person or by phone . I honestly believe he is vindictive enough to let her continue to be in misery as he seems to be happy when she’s down in the dumps . Most abusive men are just like that . If she would of went to work as most say she should of , well did it occur to anyone that he would of bitched no matter what she did . She goes to work and he’s upset someone else is taking care of the kids , she puts them into daycare and he would still find something to complain about , she’s not there enough for them , she spends more time working than caring for her kids . So her hands were tied as he did not want her to have a life outside the kids . I do not know him personally but I know of men just like him .
I honestly think and feel that Ronald nor Misty has the guts to raise a disabled child such as Jordan . Yes Haleigh had her own medical problems , but no where close to what Jordan has or is about to discover as he is too young to know exactly what is affected in him . I feel that his disabilities are contributed to both Ronald and Amber’s stupidity . The worse thing they can do for that child is disrupt the home he is in now , and if they do remove him to put him into care , all the work that grandma has done with him will be lost . He will go backwards and will never be the same . I know what that’s like first hand , as I am a single mother raising 2 disabled kids . IT’S NOT EASY when medical problems come up unexpectedly . I am not sure how it runs in Florida , if Ronald is proven to the father , if he would have to pay more cause of his medical , which I don’t think he wants to have on his plate . I know in Canada they do have to pay a little more than normal kids .
And that is why he returned the boy the next day to grandma cause Jordan was too much for his emotions .
The way I see it , Ronald is just as much to blame as Misty is cause HE is the SOLE caregiver . It was his responsibility to make sure the two were safe , it was his responsibility to make sure they were taken care of while being at work . He has shown that he cannot take the blame where blame is due , instead points the fingers elsewhere .
Sorry but if the tables were turned Crystal would be going through the same put downs , only it didn’t happen that way.
Ronald needs to be feeling plenty of guilt as he is the parent that failed the child .
I am sorry this was so long but I figured I would put my two cents worth in . I hope they find Haleigh soon as she needed to be found two months of yesterdays ago . Did any of this make sense ?? If not sorry , tired and frustrated today , it sounded good in my head anyways . Later all .

I for one just make up any name to post. I do not want to put my own name on any site. Lots of questions here. Why is it not a crime to give someone drugs? As far as I know this is a crime and money does not need to be exchanged. Can you help me out Art Harris? Why would Misty’s mom not want Cobra? What is Ron’s attitude about Cobra? Is it because they see Cobra as being with Kim and Kim being with Crystal? Is Cobra trying to find the missing girl? Do they believe that is what he is doing? Do they see him as tying to expose Misty for this custody case and nothing else? Really, I would love to know what everyones motive really is in all this. Do you know Cobra well? Haleigh Cumming’s is what matters here. This story about a man in black stalking Crystal? Is this true? Is Crystal having a break down? Would not blame her if she was. But her mom seems to like to point fingers. Why not tell LE and just leave it at that. Why make sure it gets into the media. I do not understand this. Is this Crystal or is it someone she hired. It is not helping Crystal. I do not think it is helping Haleigh either. So what is the point here? I hope that Cobra is really looking for Haleigh. If I could be sure he was, I would be willing to donate some money. Just not sure I understand how all this helps. Is it that Crystal felt she had to get it in the press how her kids were treated or she would never get custody? Does Kim feel the same way? I would appreciate any way you could enlighten me. I am not on either side. Except that of Haleigh. I do not like what I have heard about the father however, I do not think he killed his daughter. I also think if people believe that he did, we have less chance of finding her if she is alive. So, I have trouble understanding the motives in all this. Thanks

Do you know what county Helen lives in. The one that is Chad Griffis ex wife. How did he get custody when he has a protective order for violence on children in place 2006-2008. The person’s name on the order is Helen and it is in Baker county records but came from somewhere else? How old are his children and when did he get custody? Is there a court record or did Helen just give him the children. Are the children older teenagers? Really would like to know. Thanks

Mr Rogers–I can tell you Cobra is passionate about looking for Haleigh and cracking this case, and has gone deep into debt to be there. He is for Haleigh, and has told that to all sides…he talks to all sides. He talks to the cops…in fact doesn’t do anything these days, he tells me, without running his angles by the task force. IMO Cobra being there will break the case. With LE being so tight lipped, it is to easy for leads to dry up and this become a cold case. I applaud him for keeping Haliegh in the spot light. Why not just tell LE and leave it at that? We need this to stay in the media to solve this case. if Caylee A case had just stopped, maybe Roy Kronk would have never thought to go back and look for the body.

I’m told Teresa Neves called Crystal and wanted to take her to the same spot she took me and Cobra to check out, something about a yellow cloth or flag she’d found and wanted Crystal to see…That’s according to Cobra who was there when she called…and offered to go as well. I also hear she’s saying she’s leaving me messages and I’m not calling her back. I’d love to talk with her and keep up a dialogue, get her comments and thoughts…and have left messages that aren’t returned. So if that’s true, I’m here and all ears. I want ALL sides of the story. As experts said on JVM tonight, my story on co workers vouching Ron was at work and cops saying the cell towers and pings confirm he was there for his shift, and the call from Misty about a rebellious little girl who wouldn’t go to bed can also be interpreted, as i said on air, to be the reaction of a father called at work with a mini crisis at home, and a frustrated babysitter who can’t get the baby to go to sleep at her bedtime…What do you think?

WHY NOT HOLD A GIANT FUND RAISING EVENT (a community wide bar-b-que sponsored by haleighbug? It shouldn’t be hard to get some merchants to donate space, food, music & whatever equipment is needed. Get a radio & TV station to co-sponsor a TRUTH AND JUSTICE event. To help fund Cobra to continue the good work he (and you, Art) have been doing.
Certainly Geraldo and Craig Rivera would help (maybe attend and speak about what it takes to investigate these crime cases>?) Get PDM to help sponsor as well. Hold it at a big public area (or resort type space).
You could also probably attract a first class band to donate their appearance. Sell tickets and promote it all over Central Florida.

COBRA THANKS FOR HAVING THE GUTS TO PUT IT OUT THERE. I was wondering how in the world you were paying for all of this investigating and day to day liveing. People forget you have 5 kids and bills at home too. I for one am going to send you 10 bucks, but wish it were 1000. I’m not working right now as have gone through chemo fighting cancer. But by golly, YOU COBRA are on the front lines. Everyone wants to offer their opinion and encourage the fight for Haleigh it seems but thats where it all stops? Give me a break ROSE, your name says you are suppose to be sweet, loving and loyal…or so they say. (Just kidding) Its the least I can do in looking for Haleigh. SCENE: Putnam Community Medical Center
On 4/23/2009, I responded to PCMC in reference to a suspicious incident.
Upon my arrival, I met with Hank Croslin, who advised that he believest that Ronald Cummings was trying to kill him. Hank said that on Saturday or Sunday night, he was with his daughter, Misty Cummings, and Ronald. Hank said that he regularly gets prescription pills from Ronald, including zanex and roxicet. Hank asked Ronald if he had any zanex, and Ronald pulled several pills from out of his pocket, and gave Hank one. Hank said that Ronald never told him what the pill was, and that he did not know what the pill was. Hank described the pill as being small, round, and white. Ronald also gave Hank’s son one of the pills. Hank would not identify his son, but he said that his son later told him that he identified the pill as a muscle relaxant. Hank said that he voluntarily took the pill, and it made him very ill. Hank said that he was in a coma for four (4) days following the incident, and believes that Ronald provided the pill to him with the intent to harm him.
Hank said that he has taken many pills from Ronald, and that none of them were in prescription bottles. Hank said that Ronald provides him prescription pills when he needs them or when he hurts. I asked Hank if he had taken any other drugs, narcotics, alcohol, or medications on the night he was given the pill, and Hank adamantly denied having taken anything other than the pill.
I advised Hank that I would document the incident, and advised him to contact the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office if he had any further questions or information. No further action taken by this deputy at this time.

What do I think??? I think IF this is credible Teresa Neves is playing with fire.
My questions would be:
1)Why would TN want CS to see a yellow cloth or flag? What significance would that have to finding Haleigh? Was her favorite color yellow or was she interested in flags? I truly am not taking up for TN but I would bet there are many yellow cloths, etc in the dense Florida forest.
2)So, Cobra actually heard TN calling Crystal?? And what did Crystal say??? If this is true, do you think TN wanted Crystal dead????
3)Who are you hearing this from that TN wants to talk to you? Is it plausible that if you are in Satsuma (are you??) could you not just knock on her door and say, “I heard you want to talk to me, here I am, what do you want to talk about.” OR, I am certain in that small community she goes to the grocery store or to get gas, etc., so maybe you could just kinda catch up with her???? To me, IF this is correct and she wants to talk to you, then why hasn’t she called you??? She strikes me as someone who talks big on the air (not lately though) but in reality, is scared shitless.
4)If Ron was there for his entire shift, why hasn’t LE released that? All they have said is that he was at work, but have not confirmed time clocked in, out or for lunch/dinner. IMO, this would be pretty easy for them to clear and would wonder why they have not officially??!! So, no disrespect to you in any way, but unless and until I hear those words out of LE’s mouth that Ronald Cummings was there for his entire shift, for me..the jury is still out.
5) It has been said that the frustrated Misty did not make the frustrated call to Ron the night of Haleigh’s disappearance; however..I have absolutely no doubt in my mind Misty had trouble disciplining her, and Haleigh like any typical 5 year old, probably acted up a bit while strict daddy was at work. I would have to add that Misty’s attention to detail, or lack thereof – coupled w/her obvious drug/pill problem..probably gave her zilch patience as her thoughts were all about getting Haleigh and Jr. to bed so she could do her thing until Ron got home from work.
In essence, I believe Ron accidently killed Haleigh in a fit of rage over Misty being gone on the 3-day bender – but in reality..was more upset over the fact that she was not there for those days to watch the kids. I really think Ron doesn’t really care about her but now she is an accessory after the fact so he needs to keep his “enemy close” (as per what he told Cobra) so she won’t talk.
I think you and Cobra are doing more for this case than LE is and I thank you for this site and your wisdom.

I would like to know what county it is in order to look up the custody. He (Mr. Griffis) has so many addresses in his history and I really do not have time to search each county.
In Baker county there is an order 2006-2008 for violence on children. It seems to have been out of another county that is not listed. Perhaps this was a messy divorce? Sometimes in divorce parents make false reports. If I know where she lived I could look it up. See what the original order is, also if he did get custody from the court. So, I have an entire picture instead of just part of an order. Because a violence on children order in place for two years, to me is a serious issue. I understand that if a man ignored it and did not go to court it may be that he was innocent of any wrong doing. However, this is the type of order I would hope Crystal would be seeking if what she claims is true.
I would just like to have the entire picture. Or if you know where this order originated? What county he fought for his kids in? I really have not been able to locate a custody case. Seems there would be one since Marie Griffis claims this woman is so angry that Crystal and Chad have the children. I would think that means she did not just hand them over. Unless it was a DFS issue. I am trying to clarify the violence on children order and put it in context. Thanks I also did not understand what you wrote about this Helen and if they were seen together. Would that be Ron Cummings and this Helen? Gosh, Mr. Harris, I didn’t mean to come across as a wannabe anything nor was it my intention to make things harder on any one. But I know what I heard and I thought that with your resources you could see why it’s never come back up! I WAS wondering why the boss’ statement has never been brought up again since it directly contradicted the story Ron and Misty told! It might not mean anything but then again, it might mean something!
I, myself, heard the interview of Ron’s boss’ phone interview on the show but unfortunately I don’t remember which show it was on. I routinely watch NG, HLN, JVM, and Greta so the interview had to have been on one of those shows and it was on within the first week or two after Haleigh went missing.
Look, I am just an ol retired granny in Central Texas that faithfully watches all the updates on Haleigh as well as other youngsters that are missing. I have a 7 yr old granddaughter and my heart breaks for the loved ones of the missing kids!

One of my main issues with all this has been that LE confirmed Ron was at work. So many people are saying Ron Cummings killed Haleigh. This is because of Crystal Sheffield said he abused Haleigh. Those photos with the black eye were from a playground accident. They looked so bad and she claimed Ron Cumming’s did that. That was just wrong. It makes me doubt Crystal and Kim and Cobra. Prior to that I believed Crystal. It makes me wonder. I will have to do my own checking on Cobra and see what I can learn. I hope we find Haleigh or what happened to her. Poor Baby. Thank you for confirming that Ron Cumming’s was at work. People probably will not believe you. But at least it has been said.

#111 People were saying MC and RC were involved long before Crystal ever said anything about abuse. She was the one saying how much RC loved Haleigh, while MC and his family were making sure everyone heard them say Haleigh thought of MC as her mom. Speaking as a mother, a dig like that at a time like that would have inflamed me to not be quiet any longer too. It takes 2 sides to keep the piece, and when the side that lost your daughter wants to shine bad light your way, are you going to take it laying down? I don’t think RC would intentionally hurt his daughter, but accidents do happen. As for MC, well, I don’t think the cottonmouth is the only snake in those woods. I don’t know what went on the night Haleigh disappeared, but I would like to think that my extent of finding out would not include walking out on an interview, just because I didn’t like the way someone was questioning me.

Well. with all these presciption drugs in Rons possesion do you think it’s poosible that Haleigh could have ingested some????? Maybe when he was at work and Misty might have called him to ask for advice. Maybe they assumed she would be O.K. just let her ride it out. Didn’t want to seek medical attention for fear of retribution. Quite possible Haleigh OD’D. Misty probably put her to bed where she died, and lost her bodily functions. That would be why Misty washed bedding. Also explain why she said she “put the blanket on the body”. Also explain why a man in black came and took sissy, to dispose of her. “In black” just to blend in with the night. If they would have took her to the hospital after an accidental drug OD, there would have been a big investigation, and charges, possibly manslaughter, so they tried to take care of it themselves.

I really think Crystal could be a good mother, but she might have been on something like Xanex. I had a member of the family who went cold turkey after 8ml. Thought they were kicking the habit, but had severe problems like seizures, shaking, hands withdrawn, scared, angry, uptight,rehab, what else can I say. Withdrawel from Xanex is an evil sight to see. The average dose is 2mil and under the last I checked a couple of years ago. Scarey drug.

My daughter’s boyfriend is from a family very much like these people, so I would like to add a little insight. Most of them, including the women, have served time in jail & or the pen. They ALL take drugs, especially pills, & many of them sell. Even though they’re constantly breaking the law, and surround themselves with drugs, one of their favorite pasttimes, is calling the cops on people-usually for assault or harrassment, but also for outlandish things like thinking they’ve been poisoned. One night, my husband was trying to get my daughter’s car & her bf & his roommates called the cops 6 times. The bf finally got arrested for pi $ disorderly, but after bailing out, he immediately had ct cards put on my daughter & husband. Do you see what I mean? This crap never stops.{just for the record, my daughter is in college on athletic scholarship,& takes drug tests. She is NOT like this-but she looooves him. whatever} Another thing about them-they spend a lot of time in the emergency room-sometimes faking for pills, but also for ODs & seizures. These people claim family is everything & they’d kill for each other {except when they’re feuding}. So, this is my theory:Ron did something to Haleigh and Misty helped him cover-up. That’s why he married her-to make her family. Ron’s mother & grandmother are also lieing-because they’re family. But, if my theory is true, there’s probably fixing to be a break. Somebody will brag about their family “loyalty” or a feud will erupt & one of them will run to the cops in retaliation.

If Ron is an informant (narc) for LE, it may explain his having illegal drugs with him, and giving one to Hank ..He told Geraldo he isn’t a narc, but of course he isn’t going to admit it, and it was dumb of Geraldo to ask…If so, LE picked a lousy one to help clean up Satsuma…The town appears to be so saturated with drugs, it will take a lot of dedicated people working to clean up that town..

Their recent offer of immunity for info makes me think they are trying to confirm something they know and need more proof. I believe that the person that took Haleigh, now feels they got away scott free because LE is looking in wrong place, and I believe that items of evidence or Little Haleigh has been or will be tossed out on side of road close to Ron’s trailer to make it look like Ron or Misty had something to do with it.

I’m not a psychic by any stretch of the imagination and have only been following this case sporadically, but for some reason Haleigh has been heavy on my mind this week.
I woke up this morning after having a dream about her being in “Alligator Point.” I live in Flagler County and have never heard of it, so I had to look it up on the internet. It’s apparently 40 or so miles south of Tallahassee .

2spunky – That particular transcript may be in correct but I watched a video with Teresa Neves that said she picked up Haleigh. If I ever come across the video again, I will post it.
Ronald has had the same charge on his rap sheet – prescription drugs. My guess, he has not been prescribed those narcotics.
It is possible that Hank’s doctor knew he was addicted or he abused the prescription that he had, using them way too fast. I don’t think those pills were prescribed to Ronald.
MzNancy, if your story is true, don’t you think it would be wise to let LE know? What crime is Hank covering up, as you stated? If Misty gave her father the pill, don’t you think that it probably did come from Ronald? I don’t think Misty drives to go meet her supplier, etc.

A few things I think need to be looked at again. One is the video of Misty. I’ll refer back to what Casey Anthony said. Casey was asked if she knew where Caylee was. Casey responded by saying, “if I knew where she was, we wouldn’t be here right now, none of this would be happening.” Those are almost Misty’s exact words. Misty states, “I didn’t do anything to that little girl, if I knew where she was, we wouldn’t be sitting here trying to find her.” Very suspicious I think.
As for the drugs being given to Hank by Ron. First of all, Hank is a grown man, and I promise you, no one in this particular family is new to prescription meds. People who take them regularly, or associate with those that do, generally have a problem. The fact that Hank asked for a pill from someone else speaks volumes. Most people do NOT ask others for medicine. People with prescription drug problems generally do that sort of thing. The “type” of drugs they are all passing around are the most highly abused drugs of their kind, which leads me to believe that all or most people in that family are either on them, or have some problem with them.
Just to clarify. Xanax is an anti-anxiety drug. The generic name is Alprazolam. It comes in .25mg, .50, 1mg and 2mg. tablets. They vary in shape and color, depending upon the manufacturer. Oxycontin is the SAME thing as Oxycodone, the difference is that Oxycontin is the extended release form of the drug. Oxycodone is the quick release tablet. Roxies are the same thing as Oxycodone. Roxicet is the generic name for Oxycodone, although there are other generic names as well. Oxycodone/contin is a pure form of percocet. Percot that is prescribed as such is generally mixed with tylenol/acetaminophen. Percocet comes in 5/500mg, 7/500, 7/750, and 10/325, as well as 10/500. Oxycontin comes in 20, 40, 80mg tablets, while Oxycodone comes in 15mg, 30mg, and I believe 60mg, although not positive about the 60mg. Oxy is a pain medicine. None of these drugs are muscle relaxants, although Xanax does have some muscle relaxant qualities. My point is that people who are dealing with these type drugs, definitely are not a person who goes to the Dr. and takes something once, nor are they just your run of the mill every once in a great while pill popper.

I didn’t personally see or hear Cobra or yourself ask for donations, but apparently it’s been done, according to every other reply to the most recent post. Just be careful is all the advice I can give you. The quickest way to lose credibility is to ask for donations, especially if people feel you are not doing quality investigating. I’m not saying you aren’t, I’m just saying that I’ve read many websites over the last few days that refer to this particular site as a gossip column. You already know that good investigating and reporting means that you report facts, cold hard facts, nothing more. As for the donations, same thing applies. If you are giving people solid results, then they feel you deserve donations, otherwise, why pay for nothing? Or, why pay for something you can get on any other blog online? Murt/William Murtaugh is a prime example of it. At one point he had over 3,000 people viewing his site, now he has less than 20. All because he asked for donations, only problem was, he wasn’t working outside of the home, he also wasn’t giving people anything in return for the donations, well, not anything that they couldn’t get by watching the local news. If in fact you need donations, or Cobra does, because he is hitting the streets daily, working himself silly, and reporting back with FACTS, then the donation thing won’t bite you. However, if neither of you are working a job other than reporting on this case, yet the majority of reportings are rumors or hearsay, you’ll soon be viewed as someone using this case as a way to support yourselves. Believe me, I’m not saying that personally, but I’m trying to help before it gets out of hand, because as I said, many, many websites have been accusing you of that over the past few days, whereas prior to a day or two ago, this site was mentioned mostly as a good reference to the Haleigh case. Now, sadly, people are being sent here in an attempt to gather information for blog owners, who claim they will eventually “out” you as nothing more than a gossip monger. Don’t let that happen. As you said in your own words, “it’s surprising how fast BS travels on the net.” The same holds true for ruining someones good reputation. Please keep that in mind. Thanks for all you do.

Well first of all, IF ROnald Cummings is carrying loose pills in his pocket, then they should be labeling him a drug seeker, meaning NO Doctor or Hospital will give him medication without a signed contract.
Secondly, I have known since the very beginning that Ron and Misty HAD to be taking drugs of some sort, their eyes showed it. When Ron”pretended” to be SO upset, those red bloodshot eyes were not puffy from crying as he claimed he had been doing !
As much as I hate to think about it, in the Caylee Marie Anthony situation, Party girl Casey, gave her daughter chloroform…..and so did Party Dad and Baby bride give Haleigh some sort of pills ??
I see people saying that they don’t believe Ron had anything to do with the disappearance of Haleigh, well I for one think he is guilty as sin. Because even if it WAS Misty, you can BET Ron KNOWS ! And that would make him just as guilty as she is.

Art, do you think it’s possible that Hank was only trying to set Ronald up so to speak? As I said in my earlier post, Hank is no newcomer to prescription meds, so I doubt that he would be so shocked by any reaction of a pill whether it be adverse or otherwise. I just wonder if Hank is holding a grudge against Ronald, and what an easy way to get the cops over there, thinking that he would be picked up for handing him a pill that he didn’t have a prescription for, and maybe Ronald didn’t either? Just curious what you think of this theory?? This is just my opinion of course.

I was #1 irritated how the Putnam County Sherrif office doesnt want to be bothered with little run-ins with RC, Misty, WBG & all the others. – aparently they have enough available funds and dont have a need for the bail monies/proceeds from ticketing that come from arresting people down there. Here where I live, they pull you over for the tiniest thing, pop you with a huge ticket, and HERE they will arrest/charge you for having pills in your pocket without a script. I was being sarcastic basically…regarding Cobra asking for donations…Anyone with half a brain cell, who can think for themselves, does not appreciate being “guilted” into donating for a good cause…The way it came across was a little tacky. Reminded me of Murt and all his nonsense with donations last year with the Murtards. I was basically throwing it back. How about this….why didnt Cobra ask SKY news to request donations from it’s listeners or JVM/CNN…you’d think they’d give Cobra a “little somethin/somethin for his efforts. I donated monies to the search: to be fair to both parents. After I heard about the tatoos & the wedding, I donated to CS exclusively,,,that was all before I heard about Cobra running low on funds to stay. I wasnt attacking Cobra, what he’s doing is an admiral job…Art too, but to solicit donations with a guilt trip is essentially wrong…it should have come across in a more professional dialog. Without Art Harris, Jane V-M & Nancy Grace this story would be under a rug somewhere. This whole incident is just out of control and curious to why none of these people are behind bars-We have Missing Haley, now passing out pills and it just goes on & on. The harms that this Family of the Cummings has already done they might as well just come clean and fess up to where Haley is, as I do believe this has something to do with Drugs and Money & Sex and all things bad cause taking someone Child is the worst thing ANYONE can do to ANYBODY. If anyone thinks this is a “Satsuma” problem only, they are mistaken! NOT to the extent as having children disappear, but I don’t think you can go to many small towns in America that DOESN’T have a serious drug problem.
It starts with prescription drugs, ( oxy’s the worst, imo ), teens start taking them thinking that they’re not the “real bad” drugs. They find ways to use them that gives them a real opiate high…and also withdrawal. After awhile it gets expensive, over a buck a gram on the playgrounds.
THAT”S when they discover heroin. And believe me, if there is a demand for heroin, there will be plenty of people ready to cash in on THAT market! I guess it’s a bargain compared to illegal prescription drugs.
I’m going by what I’ve seen in the small serene coastal communities in the Northeast in the past 10 or 12 years.
So if anyone thinks that Satsuma is unique with having the only serious drug problem, and the BS that goes with it, they are either blind and don’t get out much..OR stupid…..OR very naive! IMHO of course!

When I read, Art, that you are giving Cobra a platform for soliciting funds,,,,,this brings me back to the days of “MURT”….This sounds like a repeat, and believe me it is a nightmare. To donate for someone, anyone who benefits off the backs of mising and murdered kids, is not good…There are people who does this for a job, not as a hobby, that get paid, and not have to ask for donations. There are alot of people who have been ripped off, by people who are conning others. Through the Murt con jobs, many elderly and widowed women sent this con money, in his so called “search” of Caylee. He was equipped with a piece of junk van with a web cam. At Blanchard park he videoed the day, and as a result ,(because he didnt have anymore money), these women sent him their monthly medicine money to keep him going. He is still out there, trying to run his scams, but with any luck and prayers he will be gone soon. I would bet there are quite a few here on your blog, who was a party to this scam in the beginning as I was, and to hear another person (cobra) ask for donations is bringing it all back to memory. And it is sickening.

I guess I am not going to learn about Chad’s kids and how he has custody when he has a two year order of protection.
I wondered if maybe they were older. Chad also has cocaine arrests in 2006 or 2007, after Ron got custody. Ron remember said Crystal used cocaine. Circumstances do change, I will give Crystal that. However, she has been very dishonest about why she lost custody. I wanted to donate to someone. Really I did. Sadly is does seem like both parties may waste the money. The fund set up for Ron is in compliance with Florida law and he has to submit bills. He can’t abuse this fund. So, I do not understand how so many people say he is. Of course if he has a fund paying all his bills, he can use his money as he wishes. Perhaps that is what people mean. I also read that in Florida only the custodial parents can be on such a fund. That Jamie Watts had to make an account without Crystal for that reason. Or close and open a new account. It said that Haleighbug was a way around this. By making a charity that she could collect. Is this true? Because it clearly says that all the money that goes to Haleighbug is for Crystal and her living expenses. The point is had Crystal not started this beating up on the dad and had Crystal and Ron been united. I would have sent them both a good amount of money. I have done well in my life and I have nobody to leave my money to. So, I would have done that. Ron Cummings said he hoped that Crystal and He and the two families would come together. That he believed if they were united they would be stronger in the search for Haleigh. I believe he was correct. Together they could have generated much sympathy. Instead Crystal and her mom went on the attack.
Some people sided with Crystal and some sided with Ron.
I still say I am only on Haleigh’s side. Maybe Crystal was taken advantage of. I see Geraldo as sort of a turning point. It would have been better if Crystal could have waited. I have talked to many people who feel the same. They say they wanted to give money but can’t believe either side. Do not want their money to go to waste. I think if you can start a fund to help missing kids that is always a good thing. I thought Haleighbug could hold a fundraiser to fund Cobra. I know Cobra wants to seem that he is neutral but I think it is obvious he sides with Crystal. I mean he says he called in Kim Picazio. So, why not a fund raiser at Haleighbug, or what about Kim Picazio. She has received much free publicity since Cobra brought her in as Crystal’s lawyer. Maybe she could fund Cobra for a few months?

I think that would be a good idea. Catchy phrase “The Bald Truth” (would look great on hats and t-shirts). In the mean time, I think someone should set up a Paypal account for Cobra’s donations.
Many blog sites have donation buttons connected to Paypal to help keep their blog up and running. Blogs are time consumming (like I have to tell you that :p).
I donated to TES through a paypal link on a blog. I know it can be done. If Cobra has a website, he can put a link for donations specifically for finding Haleigh Cummings.
I agree with another poster. Where is the money RC collected to find his daughter? Would I be foolish to think it went in a “Candy Jar”? Why isn’t RC out there being heard trying to find his daughter? He isn’t working. Does he just sit around all day or drive around like the town bully? I think this whole town is afraid of this piss ant. These “Deliverance” characters are getting on my last nerve.

There is something in this story about “Ron tried to kill me” that just isn’t sitting quite right.
I agree that Ronald Cummings doesn’t exactly appear to be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I cannot see ANYONE being quite stupid enough to attempt to kill anyone, much less someone that close to the family circle, when the whole family is under any type of surveillance.
It sounds more like he was doped up enough or pre-occupied enough not to pay much attention to what he “just pulled out of his pocket”.
I agree 100% that at least half of the responsibility falls on Hank for not asking just what he was being given. If he had taken Xanex before, it would be readily recognizable. I have asked people myself for an aspirin and asked them exactly what it was after watching them take it from the bottle, I cannot imagine not doing so after they pull it from a pocket. God knows what else was in that pocket.
I am far from a supporter of either Ronald or Misty, but in defense of Ronald— in blaming him entirely for this is pretty much like completely blaming the guy if a girl gets pregnant..It took two of them, Hank didn’t materialize this stuff from thin air.
This whole article reminds me of a comical episode of “Judge Judy” where a guy actually had the gall to take someone else to court and sue him because he didn’t get paid for his marijuana.
But then I have read recent articles about burglars taking to court the homeowner that shot him in the foot-because he was robbing him, so nothing surprises me.
The other thing that isn’t coming across right is–
Fine, Ronald’s co-worker heard Ronald talking to Misty on the phone when she couldn’t control the kids. I have no problem with him relaying the information that he heard Ronald saying..but just how did he know that Misty was crying? I hear people on the cell phone all the time, but I am never privy to what the other person is saying or doing at the time.
I have been abused in the past, I know the signs..
Misty is abused by Ronald, she is scared of him for whatever reason. When she appeared on the Today show and was asked a question, she shot a side-long glance up at Ronald before answering it, she was looking for approval and there was also fear in her face. (Albeit she has reason, but still.)
The answer she eventually gave was very non-committal.
Misty is guilty as an accomplice, she doesn’t have the brains to pull this off on her own. Based on her answering system, it appears that she was most likely told, “just pick a story and stick with it.” She doesn’t appear to have the wherewithal to even follow those instructions, it is unlikely that she could have put together anything much more complicated.
The BIG thing I find most questionable is on the night Halleigh disappeared Misty states, “I got up to use the bathroom and noticed the kitchen light on, I came back to the bedroom and noticed that Halleigh was gone”.
Come on…
Forget the questions about not using the master bathroom, but when she supposedly got out of bed (mattress) to use the bathroom her feet would have been about 10 inches from the mattress the Halleigh slept on.. Wouldn’t she have noticed the child not there AT THAT TIME??
Are we relying on the answers of a woman who doesn’t notice something that is 10 inches from her feet? No wonder she cannot relate a straight story.

I would like to know why most are taking Crystal’s side? When Haleigh first went missing she was not even in the picture. Her lawyer Kim appeared on several news networks and would not answer if she was doing this pro bono or not. I feel it was for attention. Ron maybe on pills or other things but he was there for his children. Crystal didn’t even appear for custody. She said she didn’t have a drivers license but if it was my children I would beg someone to take me if I couldn’t afford to pay them. I am a mom and you put your children above everything even yourself.

Do you know if LE and FBI took the blankets Misty was washing for evidence?
I know they can still get some DNA from the blankets or evidence even though they been washed.I know In the Casey/Caylee Anthony case when Cindy Anthony washed Casey’s pants LE still got DNA and evidence from Casey’s pants.

Crystal and Marie are NOT pointing to different people.They believe Misty knows more then what she is saying like ALOT of people do.

LE is now looking closer to the family,They no longer believe this was just kidnapping.I believe Misty knows what happened and shes the key.I think LE needs to arrest her on lying and whatever else they can arrest her on.
LE down in Orlando arrested Casey Anthony for lying about her jobs,babysitter,and where the babysitter lived and so on and for child endangerment.

Misty I am a 73 year old grandmother whose heart is breaking over all that has happened there.
MISTY I feel you have never really had a loving and compassionate MOM OR GRANDMOTHER to take you in their arms and assure you you are loved and that you are important.
Misty,being young desparate and feeling unloved I see how you fell for RON.Honey he does not love you.I urge you to go to Art OR Someone there you feel you can talk to.Tell them everything you know and Honey they will get you protection and help to get out of this mess.Otherwise I am so fearful you will end up in jail just as CASEY Anthony ,most likely she will never get out.

Let’s book this group on Jerry Springer and see what comes out of the wash. Art, did they ever find out where the scrtch on the side of the truck came from??? I have to believe it was made in the woods by the person driving the truck out to DUMP the body. Are we sure that Misty passed her lie detector test? If she passed, why are we still quizzing her??? None of this makes any sense. I still think she did it. In a recent update JVM played a film where she says she loved Haileigh like she was her own. We went to Croslin’s home.
He was not there but we did speak with his daughter in law…who referred us to Ronald Cumming’s attorneys.
Cummings attorney Jerry Snider says he has spoken with Croslin and Croslin doesn’t remember when the report was filed.
Croslin also told Cummings’ attorneys that he was hospitalized because he was abusing his own prescriptions not prescriptions from Cummings.
Cummings attorney told us Croslin told him he does not think Cummings is out to hurt him.
We tried to track down Hank Croslin. We went to his home but he was not there.
We also called Misty Croslin but she didn’t return our calls.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office confirms they do have investigators assigned to this case but they would not tell us if they are investigating Croslin for filing a false police report.

heres some gossip: misty in the yash store in cc, demanding to buy cigarettes, the owner refusing to sell her any she then goes out to get ronald who shows his butt..
misty has her nails done and ask the lady who the boys in the picture was and the lady replied her kids, misty then says you are lucky, girls are awful. (over heard this conversation)
ronald at yet another restaurant asking ” do you know who I am” and they replied yes but we are not giving out freebies today.
ronald operated a crane rumor is he was on meds then an it plainly states not to operate heavy machinery.
he also was said to have left the kids in the back seat of the car at work unattended (on the night shift), in the dark. (isnt that neglect) you cant leave a dog in the car in florida let alone a child.
NOW FOR SOME TRUE BLUE INFO:
Teresa Neves was only a dispatcher during her employment at Alachua County Sheriff’s Dept. , but she sure sports that jacket like she’s earned the right to impersonate a law enforcement officer.
Ronald never believed that RJ belonged to him, that is why Haleigh was the apple of his eye. rumors say the possible other father has a brother who works as a detective for PCSO. LIPS ARE SEALED
The DCF man who investigated Ronald was also his neighbor and he knew him on a more personal level cause his stepson did some of Ronalds tatoo’s. This is the same man who stated Misty was the one who picked haleigh up in the blue van and said RJ was with her, so a friend of Ronald’s has no reason to lie.
So why would Ronald lie because Misty didn’t have a Driver licnese
Chad Griffis has legal custody of his two kids and has for awhile. He also works a steady job as an electrician

Try as I might, I find it difficult to find credibility in ANY of these people! Not one of them passes “the smell test”!
There is a fierce drug component, with seeming full participation by people close to Haleigh; and, the custodianship of Haleigh and her brother by someone, who seems to have a tendency to slip-out of the house for fun, drugs and games…leaving the children unattended.
Haleigh’s home-environment is atrocious, and I hope that she will be placed in a wholesome environment, should be be found alive…

My god what the heck is wrong with these people!I’m just assuming that Mistys dad was watching the geraldo show when Ron stated he only took prescription pain meds…her dad was in an accident supposedly…and forgot about the E.R or the docs office and went to his daughter…then came Rons meds…I think the easiest explanation is this idiot Mistys dad probably either took some codiene from the house and got nausea or took too much either way I really doubt Ron really wants any more problems like this…I highly doubt this allegation…hey Misty tell your dad to go to the docters…that your house is not a pharmacy…these people all seem to want to get in on this case in any which way possible.

Crystal wants custody of Jr and Haleigh and she’s going around with an axe. What if she has another seizure and she has Jr. standing next to her. She could accidently injure him. #176 Phyliss, I agree with you about the skanky Crystal. Not having a driver’s license in order to get to a custody hearing is indeed a very poor excuse. Something as important as that – she should have gotten her lazy butt out of bed and found some other way to get there. I don’t think either Ron nor Crystal are fit to raise any children but Crystal seemed very unreal. She was very dirty looking etc. Her fake non-tears and her “acting skills” were among the worst I’ve ever seen. To be very frank, I am not at all impressed with Crystal nor would I believe anything she or her lawyer, Kim, say.

better yet why didn’t they just yell since theres a POLICE STATION about 30 yards from the front door of Haleighbug thats lit up like a Christmas tree and manned 24/7. it doesn’t make sense for a reason! sure would like to know what her tox screen showed when she got to the hospital.

It amazes me that information pops up here amongst bloggers but I have not read it from Art or the news sources.
I am wondering if it really was a muscle relaxant that Hank too. You really have to be careful of taking stuff that is not prescribed to you.

Art, I did not read the Hank took his own Lortab. It read like whatever you said Ron Cumming’s gave him made him sick.
Is this deliberate? Where is the other side of the story. LE did say they were satisfied with the polygraphs, I have the video. May not be true but they did say that. They also said they are satisfied Ron Cumming’s really does not know where his daughter is. So if they are being honest, why are you so hard on him? What about Marie Griffis? Crystal or her fiance? Someone that knows them and felt sorry for Crystal. But was smart enough to know LE would find out if Crystal knew. All the sex offenders had ankle monitoring braclets? Really? Then I would think they could find Chad Eugene Reynolds.

Art,just wanted to thank you for steadfast dedication to uncovering the truth about what happened with little Haleigh.There is a lot of lobbing of tidbits and taking them back to the “NEST”.I have been on numerous sites researching this case. Most of the time I don’t register,I just read the comments and with what you said to a poster earlier about (lobbing tidbits)I am amazed at how much it is being done,instead of doing their own legwork it’s easier to send people on here to glean what they can from you and take it back to their twobit reporters with no ethics.These posters know who they are and I know who a lot of them are too. Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing.They may switch up their screename a little but they are the same people who pop from site to site trying to copy your work and take credit for it. Too bad your profession has to be so cut-throat but I’m sure you have dealt with this a lot and also know which posters are doing it. Sorry this was so long but I just had to vent,it also is a shame that people operate this way,they come here as your friend,pump you for info to take back to their “LEADER”. brianna #225 and lynnda #227, know what happens when you do enough drugs – smoke enough dope? you get really paranoid and run around with a knife or an ax in your hand. then when you hurt yourself or have another drug induced seizure, you have to think fast and come up with a cover (ie the man in black – just stick with what you used last time). chloe and sister sarah were with her. what does this tell you? then your attorney can tell everyone its stress induced, but kim knows whats really up.

Art, does anyone think that this thing goes deeper? Drugs, alleged drug informants, snitches, rap sheets w/ no convictions, pills in pockets-ready to dispense ETC. No breaks in the case until you and Cobra continue to press on w/out giving up? Nancy just drops the ball completely. It doesn’t sit right w/me. I get a bad feeling LE is mixed up somehow in this. I am NOT saying LE took Haleigh. I am saying, the town seems to have more power than LE.

Hey, Bradley, this should help you out with sick of it’s comment #254. “Conclusions of Law” in the case of Ronald LeMyles Cummings and Crystal Diane Sheffield” says, and I quote: “28. That BOTH parties use their best efforts to maintain Medicaid or other insurance for both children.” Sick of it, how does that translate to “HE WAS ALSO INSTRUCTED TO GET HEALTH INSURANCE ON THE CHILDREN.” “23. That the father, Ronald LeMyles Cummings, shall have primary residential responsibility of the minor children.” Did I miss Neves’ name? I’m sure it’s there, since you said so. “20. Respondent (Sheffield) has procedurally waived all objections to this Report and Recommendation by failure to attend and make objections at the noticed hearing,” a hearing, by the way, that he told her IN PERSON about, and also advised her she’d have 2 weeks to object. She didn’t object. “#4. Respondent (Sheffield) was PERSONALLY served a copy of the petition on October 5, 2005.” It was not mailed to the incorrect address provided to them by Ron.

This sounds like a normal thing of trading drugs in this family- no biggy… Missy’s daddy must have been mad at Ron for something else. Hank – do U pop anything in your mouth, or did you trust Ron? Why is your son taking too?
Star_bright- I’m glad you are staying on the blanket. Look how many times they had to return to the Anthony’s,and how much more they found. I was just shocked when they let TN (and all) go in the trailer and clean it up so fast, and then move out. When they did a walk through, it didn’t look like any children lived in there. I don’t think Missy is being truthful, and I know the way the family did her laundry with her having a washer & dryer, she wasn’t a little Suzy Homemaker. I sometimes get carried away, and start to build monsters on what could have happened to Haleigh. I do know for sure, Missy is not telling minute by min. what went on. My blanket, her blanket, the blanket on the window, the blanket in the van. Who took the van? Getting married when you just got out of the rack with Greg, and above all, Haleigh is gone…I pray she does not get another chance to take care of Haleigh and Jr. again. lets start at the begining:
Ronald’s mom tossed him and his sister Crystal Cummings away as kids. They lived with ronald’s uncle Donald Squires. Then after him and his wife got tired of taking care of them cause they had two boys of there own, they fell in the arms of Ronald’s G-ma Annette Sykes. So maybe T. Neves was hoping to redeem herself by helping raise Ronald’s kids.
Speaking of abuse looks like ronald’s nephew Jason Squires beat his girlfriend up. Her right side of her face was badly bruised. Maybe she told DCF something that made them mad. MUST RUN IN THE FAMILY. Unfortunately this girl has now where to go. NO le was not called to my knowledge, she has no where to stay so she endures it. She is yet another teen tossed away.
Ronald’s WORK HISTORY IS SHORT UNLESS YOU INCLUDE SELLING DRUGS AS MAKING A LIVING. Lets see his social security record that will tell all. Oh he worked paving roads just long enough to gain custody and then he worked at PDM bridge, guess all his mom’s money from her big settlement was gone. And if there was any other jobs they obviously were short lived.
Ronald’s G-ma did not always have haleigh. She is also on more prescription narcotics than most cancer patients. Maybe thats why she totaled her vehicle awhile back. (Just for everyone accusing Crystal of drug use, look at Ron’s whole family).
WHAT DID RONALD HAVE TO OFFER CRYSTAL ??? NOTHING
they always lived with someone like ron’s mom, ron’s g-ma
crystal’s mom, and crystal’s dad. This went on for years from place to place. He did not provide a home, or food for Crystal or the kids. Thats why crystal got foodstamps and medicaid. She filled granny sykes freezer to please her. Some dad.
AS FOR MISSING COURT CUSTODY DATES
Crystal had gone back to ronald and he told her on the day of the hearing that he was not going to go and she agreed also not to go. He left the house to go to work (so he said), (remember this was the temporary job), and instead he went to the hearing. While crystal unknowingly was sitting at home with the kids. Crystal apparently was back and forth trying to make the relationship work but could not.
T. NEVES WAS ALWAYS THE ONE TAKING AND STAYING IN THE HOSPITAL WITH HALEIGH NOT RONALD. HOSPITAL REPORTS DONT LIE.
Lastly as for all who reads my post or not, yes I know an awful lot and trust me its AWFUL. But I’ll be the first to tell you, you cant find this any where but from living it.
MOST OF ALL YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT PEOPLES PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE TO KNOW WHERE THEY COME FROM TO KNOW HOW THEY GOT TO WHERE THEY ARE. I HATE TO BASH RON BUT I HAVE TOLD NO LIES.

Thank you JAT! Tell it like it is! These people live for the next pill to pop or whatever to get high on and their little children are just incidentals in the way. Young girls hoping to trap their man just pop ‘em out then someone has to raise them. It’s an epidemic. I know it happens everywhere but it’s the way of life for most of the back woods people I live around. I do believe Ron played tricks in the court system. He didn’t want the kids he just didn’t want Crystal to get the welfare and food stamps. You see, the more kids you have the more income tax, food stams, and AFDC you can get. It’s a game. Straight up system abuse. By the way, the docs these people go to, you just pay for the visit and their medicaid will pay for all these high dollar drugs they keep poppin. Someone gets them for free, sells them at 20, 40, and 80 dollars a pill and you ask how these people live?

Ok “just a thought”… How is Crystal related to Amber? Where is the connection since you know so much. Is it through blood or marriage? Please tell ALL of us. Also tell us why Crystal would stay in bed instead of taking Haleigh to her doctor’s appointments. Just asking since you asked us “What do you wish to know about the mothers side.”
I’d also like to know about Chad. He doesn’t really have custody, does he? Where are the Court documents to prove it? There are none. Only records showing he has visitation. That’s it for now.

justathought, your information on why Crystal wasn’t there for the first hearing contradicts her own testimony in court (wrong address, she’s in a loving relationship with a new man, she bought a home & car, etc). I’m not sure why we should assume the rest of your post is factual.
I could gather the same rumors from Topix and do a post just the opposite of yours. Maybe leave the investigating up to Art until you’ve perfected it a bit better?

1. Did/does Crystal have a substance abuse problem? Ex:she stated she and Ronald would do “coke” when they were together…what else?
2. If so, how long was she into drugs/alcohol?
3. Did she associate with Nay Nay or Amber at one time or another?
4. Did her mother, father, siblings have substance abuse problems?
5. Has hse always had a problem with seizures?
6. Were there any signs of abuse in her family growing up?

Crystal cannot help what her mother may have done in the past as far as running a drug house. Marie was in some bad company and she was charged because she was there. Would be great if you got your facts straight.
Crystal got railroaded on the custody case. If that judge had known the real truth, Ronald would never have gotten custody. You are such a cheerleader for Ronald. Ask his mother why she left Ronald and his sister, Crystal, and made them have to live with relatives. I can see now where Ronald gets his sense of values. That whole family is full of you know what.

2. If so, how long was she into drugs/alcohol? 14-PRESENT
3. Did she associate with Nay Nay or Amber at one time or another? YES
4. Did her mother, father, siblings have substance abuse problems? ALL OF THE ABOVE
5. Has hse always had a problem with seizures? NOPE. JUST SINCE FEB.
6. Were there any signs of abuse in her family growing up? MOM WAS A DRUG DEALER, DAD WAS A VIOLENT THUG.

What I can’t seem to figure out is why when someone states a FACT about Crystal or someone in her family, do all the Crystal supporters either completely ignore the post or turn around and blame it all on Ronald or someone in his family? It’s never her fault. You all have an excuse for everything she has done wrong. She doesn’t even have that many excuses for herself. It is hilarious how none of her problems are ever seen in a bad light, they are always seen as someone elses fault and oh poor Crystal. Poor Crystal my a**.
I have said this before and I will say it again, I am not on either side and don’t know any of these people. I just read a lot of the posts and can tell that all of the Crystal supporters need to take a step back and acknowledge her wrong doings as well as Ronalds. It makes you look ignorant and uneducated to continue to avoid and disregard her role in this mess.
As for CajunOne, I don’t believe that HeavenHelpUs was scathing at all, I believe he (or she) stated some facts that you didn’t want to acknowledge. It’s hard hearing the truth sometimes isn’t it.
I just wish someone would bring this beautiful little girl home where she belongs, where that is, I don’t have a clue.

I have a few additional questions I’d like to ask, if I may.
1. You mention that Crystal used drugs ages 14 – present. What drugs is Crystal presently using?
2. Is her current drug usage tied to her seizures (ie – when she tries to stop using, she seizes? Is that why we haven’t heard of her having additional medical testing because the doctors already know the cause?)
3. What was the relationship between Amber/NayNay? I have heard that Crystal is related to Amber. Can you confirm that info? If so, were is the familial relation?

4. Was Chad home the night Haleigh disappeared and did he take a polygraph test?
5. Last, what is Chad’s relationship like with Crystal’s children, specifically Haleigh. Did he resent them at all?

#267 JUSTICE FOR HALEIGH crystal is not related to amber brooks. Crystal did not have a driver’s license she depended on gma sykes to take her who totaled a vehicle mind you and crystal was afraid to ride with her after her running through a red light in gainesville leaving one of haleigh appointments. so the next appointment i myself took haleigh and sat in the room with the dr. that when i learned haleigh had cyst on her kidney but not to be concerned it was not affecting her. keep in mind ronald did not work during this time and he too was responsible for getting haleigh to these appointments. as for chad his ex wife has been trying to take him back to court for custody so its probably listed under the 12/06 judment.
#270 TERESA ( YOU MUST BE TERESA) THE PATERNITY CASE STARTED in 9-16-05 ok keep track or take notes now.. then you know long before a court hearing for custody these days will be granted that you must complete a parenting class and file proper paper work like financial affidavits and proof of social security numbers blah blah… well later after all that then a summons was served to 11024 arrowbrook jax, fl. on 10-05-05 however it was later returned on 10-26-05 .. later lots later 12-01-05 a hearing was scheduled thats when the court dates began and one of those crystal missed cause she was living with ronald let us not forget the gucci jewerly he got her that xmas.. seems as though each passing holiday they were back together..

Really Crystal Sheffield and her family should be the primary focus of this investigation. That would explain why they keep trying to put the focus on anyone else that they can. It was as plan as the nose on your face that Crystal was on something from the get go. She is also a poor actress with all this hysterics and crying with no tears.
She should be at the top of the suspect list and I am sure LE had her there. Where she now only they know but lets not exclude others that care about Crystal. As we have seen she can be very dramatic and she did just get her papers to go to court for child support, two days before Haleigh went missing. The same day she claims to have had her first seizure. So, the “stress” started before Haleigh went missing, lets not forget that please. This site if full of posts by friends and family of Crystal. Even saying that they man HaleighBug. Get off your butts and look for Haleigh. Since Crystal has collected much money and since she really has no new expenses (is staying with family) (is still on welfare)Cobra will be expecting his check in the mail. After all people have been told that when they donate to Haleighbug they are donating to fund a search for Haleigh. It says on the site money goes to Crystal but I have read many posts that donations go to pay for a search for Haleigh. So, give the money to Cobra.

If you read all three court hearing it is clear that Crystal lost custody because
1)She did not come to court hearing and had a number of excuses (lack of transport, lack of funds)
2)The judge felt that both of their drug histories were old and therefore irrelevant. Ron had one arrest in 2008 for drugs and that is it. So, I think snitch is far fetched.
3)Crystal (after trying to make excuses)admits she “just did not want to get out of bed”) and missed many doctor appointments for both children
4)Crystal had not plan or intent to support her children and when the judge asked how she planned to pay for them
she asked “for what”as in pay for what.
5)Crystal made abuse alligations, or her cousin did, then her cousin said he never saw abuse.Basically in Florida for a mother to loose custody of two toddlers she has to be REALLY UNFIT. That is what happened here. Crystal lost custody to Ron. Maybe she thinks she found a way to get it back.
In any case this site is really one sided. I do not know how anyone can stand up for a mother that clearly left her kids behind and then when one goes missing wants everyone to feel sorry for her and give her money. It is a joke. Her my space is redone. People make excuses for her. She points fingers and lies and nobody questions her. It is a real eye opener. Women can get away with murder and all they have to do it claim they were abused. They have all women kind at their side. Even if they have been proven in court to be full of shit. I am sure Ron Cumming’s has major issues. But two judges saw he was a better parent. Anyone that understands the facts would never suggest that Crystal have custody of any child.

My 2 cent opinion: Misty and Ron, complicent, guilty.
Also that LE is holding back on something for some reason… perhaps for something to materialize futher indicating guilt. My reason for saying this is simply that the ‘organized’ search was quickly and suddenly abated; even Texas Equisearch left seems like only 3 days in the search, almost as if LE told them the futility of it.
Sad situation, as all of these kid/child disappearances are; child molestors -> LOCK THEM AWAY; CHEMICAL CASTRATE

Crystal say first seizure was in feb two days before Haleigh missing. She say so. What is problem? Crystal dad do dogfighting has been arrested, has drug problem record and job gone. Crystal mom had arrest for running a drug den.

roger, i agree. when asked by geraldo what abuse she’d suffered by ron, she stuttered and finally came up with “well, one time when i was pregnant he smacked me in the back of the head.” that’s it. that’s all she came up with. and she won’t even make eye contact when she tells that one. if you cant look someone in the eye, then likely you don’t want them seeing what youre hiding.

I just stopped by to look at a comment posted about Ron’s lunch schedule for Feb 09 2009. I had to laugh to myself as I read the comments posted by some. LOL!
