Exclusive: Haleigh Cummings—-Dad’s Solid Alibi?
Misty Cummings, then Croslin, Talks About Last Night With Haleigh

According to co-workers within earshot of Ronald Cummings at Palatka, Florida’s PDM Bridge, Misty Croslin sounded hysterical when she called one night weeks before the 17 year old babysitter reported his daughter, Haleigh, had vanished while he was at work and she was asleep with the kids.
“I remember she called him in tears, because the little girl was giving her fits and he told her, ‘Whip her, just whip her and make her be quiet,’” recalls fellow crane operator Eric Zastrow, 32, in an exclusive interview with The Bald Truth. “He said, ‘Just whip the little brat, she needs to understand it’s time to go to bed, or put a movie in for her.’ Then he hung up.”
Also a night shift crane operator, Zastrow told me he was working with Cummings “on the yard” from the time PDM hired Haleigh’s father in October last year until Ronald was fired in early April. The reason: failing to let the company know he was coming back, a spokesman tells me.
A PDM staffer confirmed Zastrow worked on the same yard as Cummings. He also told me that on another night when Misty phoned and put Haleigh on, her father sounded as sugary as cane syrup. “Hey Baby, how you doing, sweetheart,” cooed Cummings, according to his co worker, who was standing within earshot.”
“We know all about the phone calls, Misty calling him upset that she can’t control a five year old,” one of the lead Putnam County Haleigh task force investigators tells The Bald Truth in an exclusive interview. He asked that his name not be used. “It’s what you’d expect from a 16 or 17 year old babysitter.”
While police tell me they are double checking timelines and alibis of anyone who may have come in contact with Haleigh, they believe Haleigh’s kidnapper was no stranger to the family. “We’re not looking at a stranger abduction,” a lead task force member tells me. He said he’s been authorized to offer immunity from prosecution to any credible witness who can provide a sworn statement —and the crucial piece– that cracks the case.
“I don’t consider druggies credible,” he tells me, “and heaven knows we’ve got a lot of those down here. They’re like interviewing rocks, memory’s not very good.”
Still at the top of murky timelines: Misty Cummings, the babysitter Ronald Cummings married after she reported Haleigh missing. She went on a three day party binge the weekend before she reported Haleigh missing, hooking up with White Boy Greg Page– a revenge romance– according to Page and his chauffeur, Christina Prevatt, a Misty pal.
Investigators say Misty has told several conflicting stories, but maintains she was at the trailer sleeping when Haleigh vanished. If police do find anyone credible who, for example, can put Misty somewhere other than the trailer, or Ronald Cummings off PDM property where he said he worked until the end of his shift, “then you’ll see some fireworks,” the investigator told me.
So far, Cummings has a solid alibi. Not only do co-workers like Zastrow tell police they recall him on property, even taking his dinner break in the cafeteria, but The Bald Truth has learned exclusively that Cummings cell phone pings came from cell towers by the steel plant.
“We had two phone pings that show he never left the plant,” a lead law enforcement investigator on the case tells me in an exclusive interview. “There’s a cell tower that covers the plant and it hits when he gets there…We don’t have pings from any other tower” during his shift. “And we have people who saw him there throughout the night, as secondary backup.”
On the way home, investigators also know he stopped by a convenience store to buy a few things. That would certainly seem to debunk one theory that he went to the trailer to check on Misty, then returned to work that night.
In a telephone interview, Williams Staubs, the private investigator and bounty hunter nicknamed “Cobra,” tells me he’s still checking Cummings alibi, puzzling through Misty’s, and passing on what he hears to police, including the curious story of an ex wife of Crystal Sheffield’s fiancé, Chad Griffis.
Seems Chad won custody of two children from that marriage to Helen Edmison, and Marie Griffis, Crystal’s mother, tells me the ex wife, who lives in North Georgia, hates Crystal because she’s raising her two children–AND knows Ronald Cummings.
“We are trying to run that down,” says a lead Putnam County investigator, in a chat with The Bald Truth. “If we can find anyone who saw them together in Satsuma when Haleigh went missing, that’s of interest.”
Asked about an offer of immunity for a key witness, Johnny Greenwood, the Putnam County Sheriff’s spokesman, tells me, “I had not heard about that. Immunity can only come from the state attorney. We’re not authorized to offer immunity to anyone.”
With witnesses like Greg “White Boy Greg” Page stirring controversy and, more recently, threats, The Bald Truth has also learned Palatka police are boosting patrols in his downtown neighborhood after reports that relatives of Ronald Cummings “are trying to find him and harass him about the Haleigh Cummings disappearance,” according to an official police report made available to me.
In an exclusive interview with me over the weekend, assistant chief James Griffiths, second in command of Palataka’s finest, says the patrols began last week after Page’s mother, Lyn, heard about threats purportedly made against her son.
Then a white neighbor, a 43 year old divorced mother of two, reported a red pickup drove through the ‘hood, with two white men inside. In an exclusive phone interview with me, she said one rolled down the window and offered her $50 to tell them where they could find White Boy Greg and Cobra. Page’s mother, called 911, laid it out for two officers, and when she learned a police report had not been filed, marched down to the station to fill out her own report.
But Lyn apparenlty provided “no names of who might be doing this harassing,” said Griffiths, reading from the report, “just that a woman had seen two unknown white males driving in the neighborhood supposedly trying to locate Greg Page.”
But the mystery neighbor tells me the driver matched a mug shot of Cummings father, Lester. She made that ID from a mug shot I e- mailed her Sunday; and also says she found the same man on You Tube videos of Haleigh Cummings rallies. Cummings could not be reached for comment, but Cobra tells me a red Nissan Pathfinder the neighbor described to him is similar to one owned by Cummings grandmother, and sits in her driveway, outside the trailer, were Ronald and Misty are staying.

Art, You seem to be the only one left who wants to follow this story and I am so glad someone is because everyone else seems to have forgotten about poor little Haleigh. Yes I am still interested in the Caylee Anthony and Sandra Cantu cases but God bless their little souls there bodies have been found and put to rest but little Haleigh has not and by some miracle she could still be alive. There needs to be more coverage of her until she is found one way or the other. LE should be smart enough not to let all these distractions with the family get in the way of their investigation. I hope this child is found soon.

all this states to me is their is alot of hear-say,people saying what they will,what they supposedly remember….if misty hurt this little angel I hope they figure it out soon,if crystal or chad are involved I hope it is found out quickly!have police gotten lie detector tests back?WHY are they being so quiet?THEY must have some info…I sure hope they figure this case out soon…wether ron or his dad was looking for greg is again hearsay and unless there is proof thats all it is…but then again I know alot of men who if their wife or g-friend went out all weekend sleeping with other guys-maybe even getting pregnant by them they might be pretty ticked off!AND may want to talk to the person who it allegadly happened with to find out the truth…people always jump to conclusions…he may have just wanted to find out if misty was really was druggin and sleeping around for himself…I would want to know…after all this is who watched his children..when he was at work.this is someone he trusted to care for his children!

Also, they need to hire divers and teams to go back in the river, Haleigh is in that river and they need to recover her no matter how murkey the water is, she needs to be found.

I just don’t believe, if they are looking for WBG, that it is because Haleigh is missing. He was just the male Misty happened to hook up with that weekend. It could have been anyone. With the reports from the co workers, I have some questions…what happened to Haleigh “thought of Misty as her mom”? Wasn’t she so happy with Misty, and so sweet? And Ron’s “sugary voice”…was that for Haleigh? Or for the benefit of the 2 guys listening?

Wow–excellent reporting, Art–so great to have some new info and know that Haleigh is NOT forgotten!
Here are the two key questions: (1) WHAT TIMES did Ron clock in and clock out from work that night???
And (2) WHAT TIME was did Ron stop by the convenience store? Was it indeed 2 a.m., as was reported early on?–though those reports quickly and suddenly vanished from all news sites.
IF so, did he actually then arrive home at about 2:30 a.m.–the time that a neighbor reported hearing shouting at Cummings’ trailer?
IF both of those are true–that leaves an hour unaccounted for before the 911 call at 3:27 a.m. …

Sounds ike Haleigh might have been a little rebelious towards Misty. That also sends a red flag.
Thanks for the information Art. Interesting to know that Chad has custody of his 2 children. Goes to show, you can’t always believe what you hear. Chad’s ex-wife certainily brings in another twist to the story.
Misty is the key. Sounds like Ronald’s alibi pans out at this point. Have them been able to verify whether Misty did phone him several times that morning and he didn’t respond?
What is finding White Boy Greg going to accomplish? It takes 2 to tango.

Thanks for the update. I believe those children were abused. Definately by Ronald (MO) and perhaps by Misty too. Maybe she just did what he told her to. I know how hard it can be–my husband & I are working class–he works days & I work nights so he is home in the evening to take care of dinner, baths & bedtime on his own and he definitely has the harder job. I would never trust a 17 yo to handle that on a daily basis. I don’t care how “mature” Misty claims to be that is alot of responsibility & stress.
I believe the co-worker about the “whipping”. When Misty was interviewed she always says she put Haleigh to be at 8:00 because thats her bedtime. I dont know why but that statement always sounded strange for some reason–scripted–like she was just repeating Ronalds instructions that bedtime is at 8:00 & she was expected to follow those instructions–she may have felt pressure to strictly follow his instructions & if she couldnt get the kids to bed on time then she would be the one in trouble. My kids bedtime is also 8:00 but sometimes my 6 yo is still not asleep til after 10:00. It can be frustrating and perhaps she felt the addtl stress from Ronald plus she may have had other plans or just wanted to do her own thing while he was at work.. IDK–just thinking–JMO

I still want to know what time Ron clocked in the night Haleigh went missing..What method does the company use for signing in and out of employees? I don’t doubt he was at work, but I do question what time he got there..What time were the cell pings from the cell tower? Where was he, and how did he spend his day BEFORE he went to work..As I have stated, his pastor said he worked his eight hour shift..The pastor was on NG when he said this…If it was an eight hour shift, he went to work around 7pm…What did Ron do from 3pm to 7pm? I hope you can find this out…Seems I am the only one questioning this…Please clarify this time, if you can….I would like to know Ron’s alibi for the day before he went to work on the day/early morning Haleigh went missing…TYVM

Art – this does shed a little light on what could have happened. I hope Misty did not lose her cool at the heat of the moment, but it is a possibility.
I only say this because she had called Ronald at work about it before. If she was still under the influence from her weekend partying, it is quite possible. It was her first night back at the house, probably wanting to sleep, etc. Did she have problems getting Haleigh to go to bed again?
I have always thought all along that it was not a stranger but someone that was very close. Ronald and Misty had not lived in the trailer long and it would have to be someone that knew the setup, the light switches, etc. LE has been quiet but we have not heard anything about “foreign” fingerprints etc. It is just sad that not many “sightings” have come lately and that is never a good sign.
I remember reading that the gun was found in the ditch not far from the house. Has this been verified?

Word has it that he was seen at 2AM at the CONVENIENCE STORE.
He did not ARRIVE HOME UNTIL 3:AM – 3:30.(at least that is the time THEY REPORTED HER MISSING)
So, if he was a the Convenience Store at 2AM…drove home arriving approx 2:20-2:30…neighbor heard some noise out back at this time as well.
How long of a drive is it from his PDM…20 minutes????

Really disturbing about the “just whip her..” phone call between Ron and Misty. Did this happen that same evening Haleigh disappeared? Or another night? Doesn’t matter.. it shows Misty and Ron were not capable of raising these kids.

yes Art Thank you.. Thank you.. Besides jane & Cobra keeping us updated and informed, we the world would be going nuts. These poor babies who are found dead, makes me cry inside because they don’t deserve it, it’s about time we get some great news about them being found and brought home in one piece!! I am sitting here every night just biting my nails etc lol. Keep is informed as usual and keep putting in the media and perhaps we will finally put an end to this and make some families finally happy!! When she comes home I pray they give both children back to the Mother and as we see here Ron & Misty are very irresponsible as parents!! The don’t deserve both JR & Misty, just look at what he said, slapping her whipping her ggeeeeeeeeeeeezeeeeeeeeee There are better ways to correct a child even I learned that and I do admit to making a few mistakes myself. I always don’t my daughter (she accused me of beating the S**T out of her) I told her if I had she would be dead by now or even worse. When I was at Misty’s parents house, the family showed me and Cobra the drainage ditch under their driveway where they say Ronald’s gun was found…blaming cousin Joe for stealing it and putting it there so it could later be retrieved and sold. that could not be verified.

naples: the phone call the co worker overheard, as i wrote, was NOT on the night H vanished…and yes, my police sources are well aware of her phone calls to Ronald at work. Remember, cops had her cell phone for several days and that would be the first thing they checked, her calls and the time she called and received calls…checking every number on the other end, too.

QT-To be fair to Misty, a child can rebel and still love a step parent or babysitter. Implication from co worker I interviewed, the sugar and spice was for Haleigh. Multiple sources tell me she was the apple of Daddy’s eye, his favorite. Mary Brooks, who also saw him with the kids when he was with her granddaughter, Amber, tells me he doted on Haleigh and in one conversation, acknowledged he favored her. Daddy’s girl.

Here are my thoughts regarding this article and your update about the gun.
My thoughts are Ronald Cummings didnt want to admit to any, and I mean any type of abuse in his home because this would mean the childrens mother “would” have recourse to get custody. This entire Cummings family will lie, steal, and cheat out anyone in order to ensure he stays “top-dog” in that fight. Period. Which is the All-around denial of any of it by all family members. He must maintain that HE was the better parent. Very Narcisistic indeed! It’s all about himself and his ego. Ronald giving permission to Misty to “whip” the children, debunks many things that came out of their mouths AND including locals who swore Misty was never the disciplinarian to those kids. So much for Paradise!
About the gun- I knew the moment I heard they found this “MIA” gun in a ditch…who ditched it. Glad to know where it was ditched. But the more important question is why was this gun ditched. Mistys family throwing a cousin under the bus more than once is very hinky to me. however- what does the cousin JO have to say about all this? Have you talked to JO yet? Has Cobra? I’m wondering if Misty had help in the clean-up and disposal? Thats where my thoughts are with this…I keep thinking RC gave permission to “whip” her, it got out of control, she was killed and then someone in either family was contacted and they disposed of her, in order for the phone pings and everything to look like status quo. But thats just my feelings at the moment.

I still don’t believe Misty was home the night Haleigh went missing…the truth never changes! Why hasn’t she been charged with child neglect, maybe if she was arrested she might tell the truth. Why is JR still with the drug addicts/abusers? Art, do you know if DCF is still investigating Ron? Also in your interview with Nay Nay, she said that after Haleigh went missing, Misty didn’t want to talk on the phone because “they were listening”…why would she care if the police were listening to her conversations if she had nothing to hide? Thank you for the reply. If Haleigh was Ron’s favorite, then it is possible that there was competition for his attention from both ladies in his home. Wasn’t there a story (whether reported or rumored I can not remember) that Misty tried to call Ron several times that night and he did not answer?

We know there was a very tired Misty the night Haleigh went missing according to her statement and the fact that she was seen partying for the three days prior to that.
Although this phone call originated days before that night, I can see her following Ron’s orders the night Haleigh went missing.
Something that has never been mentioned is about bathing the children that night. Most caregivers bathe children before bed especially when they attend school and have been outside playing. Yet in Misty’s statement, it never has been mentioned that she bathed the children that night. They went from dinner straight to bed according to her statement.
The family was clearly being monitored by child protective services. Sending a child to school dirty might wave some very red flags that Ron and Misty might want to avoid. I would assume that bathing is considered a caregiving activity that would be monitored and if Haleigh was sent to school not bathed that might be noted in her file.
Maybe Misty did bathe the children that night. She put Junior to bed but left Haleigh in the tub. This is how the pink shirt ended up on the dirty clothes pile in the laundry room. She took it off Haleigh before the bath and threw it on top of the pile while the bath was running.
Haleigh might have been playing or she just slipped and fell, or she received a whipping during this time but whatever happened, she ended up dead. If this happened, Misty might have panicked and put her body into plastic bags and put her in the dumpster outside the mobile home. Her statement that she took out the trash that night, I think sounded a little odd.
Getting back to Ron’s alleged statement about whipping Haleigh. An angry adult can not judge how hard or how long they are hitting a child. A simple spanking can turn into a beating that can kill a child when that line is crossed. This statement make me wonder if Misty crossed that line and that is why Haleigh is now missing.

Art, I knew it was not the same night Haleigh went missing. Misty claimed to have tried to call Ronald several times after she realized Haleigh was missing and he didn’t answer his phone. If he was shocked that she was still awake when he got home, why was he not shocked that she would be trying to call him at that time of night? Just seems strange to me.
Also, if Misty was having dicipline problems with Haleigh, doesn’t sound like “step mom” was all that popular. Brings a lot of new questions into play, doesn’t it?

Art – What time did Ron punch out that night? He may have a solid alibi for the whole night, but is there a gap between the time he left work, drove home and the 911 call?
Also, how about cellphone usage – were there more calls than usual to/from Misty’s cellphone or was it like any other night that he worked? Were any of these calls between her 10 AM bedtime and his arrival at home when Misty was supposed to be asleep?
Just curious…
I’d also love for you to dig deeper into Lindsy’s minivan and the blanket that supposedly was in the van which required Misty to do laundry. Again, just curious…

This statement shows two distinct points with mostrecognizing point 1, but miss point 2
1. Misty shows distance to Haleigh “that” instead of “this” and the avoidance of Haleigh’s name. She was not close to Haleigh andikely resented the hinderance to her lifestyle of sex and drugs

Thanks Art for keeping us up with what’s going on. As for Chad having the 2 kids. I had heard that before and mentioned it here. A few people did not believe that could possibly be true.I just hope we will find out what heppened to that poor lil girl one way or the other. Bad part is, is like it was said it’s hard to get facts when you have so many people on drugs. They seem to not really “remember”.

I would like to know exactly what Ron’s designated work hrs. were. I’ve never read anywhere exactly what his designated start and stop time were. I’ve read it may have been 3 or 4 pm till 3 am. Those are weird hrs.. I’ve never heard of shift being over at 3 am.. And if he was supposed to work till 3 am. why was he seen at 2:30 at a convenience store? Why wasn’t he at the factory working? What was the need to be delivering a bridge part at 2:30 am and where was he driving to & from in connection with work?

Thanks to Art, for keeping the info coming. I believe this case will be cracked after all. This info just proves what most of us thought in the beginning, to Misty’s abilities as a care giver to a child. As a parent myself, when children at that age refuse to go to bed, it can be overwhelming. Been there, done that. I wonder, what is it going to take to crack this case………I pray Haleigh is found soon. This child’s life must have been horrible, having to live with the likes of the sewer rat, Misty. All little girls and boys have the wish, their Mommy and Daddy get back together…..I know I did when I was Haleigh’s age………….Misty is a liar among all the other things she has done, and I doubt if Haleigh ever really liked her, if Misty beat on her like Ronald told her to do…………….Then when she was on her drugs, what did she do to this precious little girl…..If Haleigh really was at times “Daddy’s little girl” then I am quite sure, Misty , who is a child herself, was so jealous of another “child” taking part of Ron’s heart,,,,,, there is reason for me to believe she was capable of doing anything to get rid of the competition.

If Misty said she was pregnant and this caused a big fight between her and Ronald is that not a motive? She wanted his baby, he already had enough babies.
3 different dogs (who only hit on human remains) hit on the dumpster, weeks after haleigh went missing. Could that dumpster have already been dumped between the time of missing and the time it was checked. (would stand to reason why they didn’t find anything. If so would weever be able to find her?
Isn’t it quite fishy Misty wakes up and finds Haleigh missing, right before Ronald scheldualed time to be home? How convienent.
There is no way out of the facts of this case.
It had to be Misty herself that hurt her or gave her to somebody or some one who knew Misty’s habits very well either that she was not home or that she partied hard and would be out of it. Nothing else was touched except the little girl. someone waited for the right time.
If you are angry the man you love doesn’t want to have a bady with you to the point of wadding you up in a ball to hurt you to cause a miscarrage, so you are already angry. I would bet some jealousy issues because haleigh was the light of dads life.You add on top of that exhaustion and drugs and it is all too easy to lose you cool.

I guess my question would be if LE cant find one reliable source, then have they been doing their jobs all along? I hate to put down LE because there are 1/2 GOOD officers that risk their lives everyday for us. But this town sounds like LE has been asleep and let drugs and sex and prostitution run rampid.
It also sounds like they have either been “bullied” when people are arrested, or paid off. Sorry to sound so harsh, but come on. Everyone is on drugs? No Reliabel source in town?

I’ve followed all the missing cases in Florida over the past few months and I’ve yet to hear the convenience story theory. Hopefully someone can clarify that, as it certainly would change alibi’s here and there, but I really feel that LE would have picked up on that one by now, had it happened.
I don’t know Ron or Misty, nor do I know any of the other key players in this mess, and I’m NOT defending anyone, just stating something that I see maybe a little more clearly than those who have already made up their minds that they hate Ronald.
Anyone who has children knows how hard they can be. There are times that you actually say, I’m gonna knock you out, don’t make come after you, etc. Of course you don’t mean it, just idle threats, as you stand 20ft. from them counting to 10 for the thousandth time, so as not to have to punish them.
I just don’t find it all that odd that Ronald said to Misty, “just spank her.” He didn’t say BEAT her, he didn’t say anything horrible really. All he said was, “spank” her. There are many people who spank their kids. WE as children got spankings, and they worked!! How many times did your mother say, “wait till your father gets home.” My point is this, just because he said that, does not a suspect make, nor does it mean he didn’t love Haleigh, as evident in the other call where he was sweet as sugar to her.
I do have a point, ha…I’m getting there. I have felt from day one that the icing on this cake is Misty. When Ronald said he married Misty only to “keep her close” or as a way to stay in the good graces and vicinity of the last person that saw Haleigh. He knows how Misty is. He knew she was young and liked to party, yet he also knew that if he asked her to marry him, she would fall for it, marry him, then he would have more control over her running around and partying. I think he meant it when he said that. Maybe if those that are dead-set on finding fault with Ronald, if you would just step back and assume these things are all on the up and up, you might see more clearly that the culprit in this whole situation is the ONE person who has yet to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and that is Misty.
I’m sure LE knows all of this though. They realize that people can get confused during questioning, but there is a difference between confusion and flat-out lying, or changing stories as Misty has. The truth doesn’t change, it can be added to, but it doesn’t change the facts of the 1st part of the truth spoken. A lie on the other hand, continues to change over and over and causes whatever you’ve said prior to change as well, as in the case of Misty.
Hopefully Haleigh will be found, or they will find out what happened to her, but I’d place just about all my eggs in one basket when it comes to whodunit. I truly feel it will be Misty, and I’d venture to say that Ronald will be just as shocked as anyone. I think part of her problem is being scared of Ronald in the sense that she would lose him, or would have to move out if he found out anything she did wrong, whether it be to Haleigh or anything/anyone else. We shall see I suppose.

God knows and I pray we all remember to pray and ask God to guide the right people to the right place. No one should get away with this.
I’m a mother and a grandmother, always the block mom, and I don’t have to “whip” anyone ever to get results. I reserve the right to, don’t get me wrong, but it is never required. I teach mine if I EVER catch them stealing or lying, a spanking is guaranteed! They don’t and I sure don’t “whip” them for all the daily parenting responsibilities.
And I guarantee no one else is going to “whip” them. Misty had 5 months in their life, that’s nothing. Dang sure no “whipping” rights, and suggested or advised by the one person, the dad, who is their protector. That’s just disgusting!!
Men better watch and listen. Don’t just take anyone pretty thing and put them in authority over your precious children.

it’s about 40 minutes from PDM bridge to where Ron lived, and the reason they likely “vanished” from all news sites is that it was confirmed that he was NOT at a convenience story at 2AM, he was still at work. and the comments that kept circulating insisting he left for lunch break – never happened. i don’t like him either, but gossip i just that. nice twist about Chads ex-wife though. won’t that be a kick when it’s found out she did it?

I am still concerned about the cadaver dogs hitting on that dumpster. I thought they were trained to hit ONLY on a cadaver smell. Was this dumpster emptied before the dogs hit?( by the trash company) if so then I think they should have been checking the landfill long ago.

I Live in Satsuma.. Not more than 5 or 6 miles from the cummings Home…. And after this story broke, I traveled the distance from PDM to the Handy Way that ronald stopped at and then on to the neighborhood that Haleigh was taken from, and it took me Exactly 29 minutes to get there (in the middle of the day with traffic).. If you add in 10 minutes at the store, you are looking at 40 minutes to get home…(also the traffic on 17 at 2am is nonexistent) So Ronald got off at 2 am and says that he did not get home until 3 am or a little after??? THAT IS BS… 20-30 mintes are lost somewhere along the line…

I personally know the person who works the night shift at the “Handy way on the Hill” as it is called… Located in SanMateo near the turn off for SR 100…. The police were there the day Haleigh was reported missing and they have the security tapes….!!!!!!!

A bloody mess was reported early Monday at Haleigh Bug Headquarters.
A Putnam County Fire Rescue ambulance picked up an unknown subject who had been bleeding from the face at about 1a.m. Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Haleigh Bug Headquarters on South US 17 in Satsuma, FL, the agency confirmed this morning.
Due to HIPPA laws, the identity of the subject was not released.
The unidentified female subject was hospitalized after suffering an apparent seizure and receiving a facial injury in the subsequent fall causing a great deal of blood loss.
Witnesses tell WSKY that a hatchet was also found inside the Haleigh Bug building.
Something is going on in Satsuma that we have no idea about, this case just keeps getting scarrier and someone is gonna get hurt!

Good work Art! Glad to see something new out. I have grown up in the “ghetto” and I do know that people in them places stick together. BUT usually when it comes to a CHILD MISSING people don’t deal well with that…well people WITH a conscious don’t anyways. What is up with these people down there? Don’t they want that sweet baby girl to be safe with her family?? People in Satsuma need to think…WHAT IF THIS WAS YOUR BABY?? I know I would want people to be talking..EVERYONE there just remember that KARMA is a son of a BI%^$!!! Hey Art, I believe you on the Ron was at work for his entire shift. I guess I’m asking you to confirm his shift was the normal 4:30 to 3:00 because even after your post, an internet blogger who claims to have inside info states that Ron was not there from 6:00 to 8:00.
I feel like you are trying to get only truthful facts out and I think you can let the rest of us know that this poster is full of it. He/she says that your information is wrong and a very large forum believes her.

Sorry, it’s still not adding up for me. If Ron indeed worked until 3 a.m., how does he have time to make the supposed 40-minute drive home AND stop at a convenience store AND still get home by 3:27 a.m., the time of the 911 call?
And what about his statement to Pastor Terry Wright, quoted on Jane Velez Mitchell on 02/25/09: “Pastor,” he said, “I kissed my daughter, went to work, trying to make an honest living, trying to make an honest wage. I came home EIGHT hours later, and she was gone.”

Well, there IS a JerseyGirl on WS who does think she knows everything and that her opinion is the only one that matters. Personally, I think she is nuts.
Phone calls can be faked. Not pings, but the phone conversation can be faked for the benefit of those who overhear it. Ronald was so careful to point out that he spanked Haleigh according to how DCS says he can. What about Misty? Did she know the proper way to spank?
Thanks for keeping Haleigh’s story out there, Art. I believe that Haleigh will be found by keeping the focus on her as well as all of the players in this sad story. I cannot get past Misty and Ronald myself!

That was so funny and so true about finding a new place to test bombs. HA HA HA. Give Satsuma heads up and the only people that will rememember will be the hand full of drug free residents. The remainder…well, I’m sure they won’t be in the shower or getting a shampoo! Does anybody know the percentage of welfare recipients in Satsuma? It doesn’t sound like very many people work down there. WBG has children being raised by his mother, too. Hope she’s not giving their government money to her worthless son. Ron, Crystal, Misty, NaNa and Amber seem to be able to afford their drugs but can’t afford or don’t care about personal hygeine. WL. I agree with you about what may be assumed by him saying to whip her. Also, that is one conversation. He could have been aggrevated at fact Misty was having the trouble and it came across in his reply to her on phone. I can not off what one person ‘overheard’ with one phone call. That could mean anything in my opinion.
Art, One thing that since beginning of this that just has not sat well with me is that 911 call. Not one time did I hear Ronald yelling in background Haleigh’s name. Not once!
Also I seen an episode NG where Ronald and Mom actually could not agree about that cousin there that night. Theresa said the cousin was there and Ronald quickly disagreed. Only two reasons I can think he would lie about that fact. The was drug activity ’selling or buying’ with this cousin making Ronald guilty or covering for cousin because he helped with covering up what happened to Haleigh.
Even as shady as these characters seem in this case. I am not assuming yet Ronald is guilty over hurting Haleigh ‘directly’. But all of his actions since this started states his is guilty of something more than just
bad parental skills.

I just have one quick question, only because I’ve not heard any mention of it -
I’m not familiar with the area, especially that particular area of Florida, and so I was wondering:
Are there any wells, or dug wells in the area, or close in proximity to where the Cummings resided?
It is a place were a body could be dumped, and never located again. I don’t believe that the dogs (cadaver) would be able to react to the scent of decomposition this way either.
Just wondering – It’s been bugging me for days now.
I had a friend committ suicide by drowning himself in a dug well, and in order to carry this out properly, he did it IN FRONT of someone so that his body would not go unfound, thereby leaving his parents in absolute desperation that he’d simply disappeared – he made sure that the world knew he was gone. Not just missing.
Again – I’m just wondering if it’s at all possible that there are wells around the trailer park, or other close vicinities where little Haleigh’s body could have been disposed of.
I so hope I’m wrong – But I had to ask!

I agree with you WL…it was NOTHING for my parents to say “when I get home I’m going to take a switch to you.” They even made us pick the switch! I remember always getting the smallest one I could find ’til it dawned on me those hurt the worst. Then I’d find one I’d have to drag behind me because I figured if she could lift it, then more power to her! I say that in jest, but threatening a spanking isn’t that big of a deal. On the other hand, depending on how you raise your kids, you shouldn’t HAVE to spank them.

Art: This is what I think happened to Haleigh.
Misty called Ron crying because she couldn’t handle Haleigh.She wasn’t listening to Misty and she wouldn’t go to bed.Misty prolly got mad and gave something (Pill) to put Haleigh to sleep and something happened.
I remember Misty said in the beginning of this crazy case she was washing blankets because Haleigh peed on hers.Something happened to Haleigh Misty put Haleigh in the blankets took Haleigh some where.
Took the blankets back to the house with her so if some some one did find Haleigh the blankets wouldn’t lead back to the house.Misty came home and washed the blankets so any of Haleigh’s DNA or any body fluids wouldn’t be on the blankets.
On a news interview Misty said “some one took the van with the blankets “.I will post Misty’s news interview and the 911 call.

Art< I just watched you on JVM… And it is to bad that you are not lead investorgator…. If not for you, we would not know anything. Not only that LE knows you are staying on it, and I don’t think they would want a reputation of just cold casing this. I don’t doubt Ron loved his child as much as he knew how, but there are alot of questions on his parenting…. The way he treats people with threatening and ” I’ll just kill” It looks like he has not any controll of his temper. Why would Chad’s Ex Wife have anything to do with taking Haleigh? That doesn’t even make sense..I’m not sure why Ron is not out there talking,in my opinion, he should be, even if its to make Misty uncomfortable..I don’t know if its true, but I have heard she has Lawyer d up..Thought I heard her say that was for the guilty..Somebody in this mess of people knows something..Is there any chance Chad had Misty lured from the House and went and took Haleigh, met up with Crystal and that is why Crystal wasn’t in Satsuma till hrs later, maybe because she had to put Haleigh somewhere safe with somebody, not sure how this is going to work though,unless she wins custody of the Kids then Haleigh will mysteriously appear..The other is maybe Haleigh met a heavy hand of Misty and the cover of a propped door to make it look like Haleigh was taken..before Ron got home..Teresa seems to favor Misty,but does she know she had a hard time disciplining Haleigh?? Curious, I don’t think anything ANY of them has done since this happened makes sense. Their actions defy logic. There’s not one player in this whole saga that hasn’t said or done something that leaves us scratching our heads, thinking “huh?” But to answer the “why” about the ex, Crystal’s with her husband, and if the rumor mill is true, they’ve got Chads kids now, too, which would make for a very bitter wife, hell-bent on retribution. I can’t fathom, how any court could POSSIBLY give children to a man who wasn’t allowed to see these same kids or have contact with them for 2 years. That makes no sense either. None of them can support the kids they already have living with them…the taxpayers are footing the bill for all of them. How could so many people in one circle have the criminal records they do, and the work ethic they do (which is none that I can tell).

If you are THE Jerseygirl on SM who copies and pastes my COMPLETE articles within minutes of their publication, all rights reserved, no permission to publish more than a paragraph with a link, then I’d appreciate your taking them all down, except for a paragraph and a link back here. Anything more is a violation of federal copyright laws. I’ve been trying to join SM for quite a while; some of the insights and comments are terrific, even brilliant. But I’ve get a really bad taste when I see wholesale lifting of my work. I put hours, weeks and months into reporting, digging, writing and confirming in a way that doesn’t happen on the blogs, and hopefull that’s why people come here.
I’ll never get advertisers if I dont’ get an accurate count of those who are really interested in reading my full story. Here. So if you in effect “steal it,” maybe not knowing or understanding or meaning to do so, you are in effect stabbing me in the back as a writer and creator of original content…That’s why musicians get so upset when people their music, or filmmakers when people bootleg movie dvds…
It’s not right. There’s protocol, and there’s laws and there’s something called doing the right thing. When a friend of mine posted a complete article by the Associated Press, he got a cease and desist letter from their attorneys, and stopped doing it. Then he started using a paragraph and a link back, and paraphrased or wrote about what he thought about the article. Why can’t you do that? That’s why I call anyone who does what you did beyond lazy. Are you saying you work hard scouring the internet to copy and paste –and steal the original efforts of other writers who work far harder creating original content than copying others’ work?
I look forward to your thoughts and hearing if SM admin condones this…I cannot imagine they would and if it’s happening, they should give you a free course on copyright law…
Otherwise, I will vanish along with others writers and you will have nothing to copy and paste.

The poster who named Jersey Girl345 at SM as someone who posted your article is mis-informed. JG345 provided a snip as well as a link, proper netiquette.
There was an incident at Topix where that ocurred, the poster was advised it was a no-no. She hadn’t realized.
It’s said there was an incident in the comments section at FCN. I don’t read there.
In the interest of fairness since someone named JG345 above, that didn’t happen. IIRC, no one at SM has ever posted your articles in that manner. Honest.

Mr.Harris not everyone is aware of the federal copyright laws. A lot of people who read blogs do not have a degree on English or journalism. She linked the article to your site she was unaware that was it against the law to take the article in its entirety. FWIW I don’t see any reminders on your site about reprinting as I do on other sites.You will never get the advertisers if people don’t click on your site…how unfortunate. Also FWIW she can’t edit her posts that is for an SM mod to do and I am sure they will if they haven’t already. I love those sites, and appreciate all the discussion they generate, and the support for the work we try to do here. There’s plenty of room for all of us to report and riff off each other to keep the awareness percolating for missing innocents like Haleigh, and serving up justice for victims and hellfire for the heartless.

I don’t think we know all the facts about Chad, Crystal’s fiance. His ex could be bitter and file a protection order out of spite to keep the kids from him. People do use children as pawns and it is so not right. I try to look at all sides and think about things before I form an opinion.
I can’t see why Crystal would take Haleigh and not Jr. if she thought they were in danger. Just my opinion, thoughts, theory-I could be wrong.

Art, I know he had an alibi but what time did he report to work and could he have had Misty call to let him being overheard so they would know that Haliegh was there but in truth she wasn’t?????Could she have gotten into some of their drugs and it killed her? I hope LE has something to go on and if , I say if, she is alive could be found.

I think you’ve got us all wrong. Websleuths is about “sleuthing” the circumstances, facts, and characters surrounding criminal cases. Actually, there is more to the site, but I pretty much stick to the Haleigh threads on the forum. I joined in February to try to figure out the Haleigh Cummings and Chad Reynolds cases.]
IMO, Websleuths is not about re-publishing content created by others. The forum posters do a remarkable job of creating their own content based on a variety of resources, including newstories, comments to said stories, independent on-line records research, local contacts, rumors and good old-fashioned brainstorming, argument, and analysis.
I suspect you have had the opportunity to drop by and read some of our discussions. If not, please do.

If Ron accidentally killed Haleigh in a fit of rage before he went to work and then concealed the body, I don’t think the ‘work alibi’ necessarily amounts to much.

I would like to know about what Misty’s cell phone pings showed the night Haleigh ‘was abducted’.

I would love to know if her cell phone pings confirm she was even at Ron’s trailer prior to Haleigh’s disappearance earlier in the day.

I don’t know which is scarier — the frequency of her seizures or the fact that she is being stalked at the Haleigh Bug center. I hope that her docs take good care and find the right meds, so that these seizures become infrequent. If I were her, I would also install cameras and/ an alarm system at the Haleigh bug center. Better yet, maybe she should not keep the center open after sundown.

It sounds like a fundraiser is in order. Maybe donated food for a barbecue with a band could help.

If I were police, I would look into whether Ron had perscriptions for these drugs in his possession.

Hi! Art..I belong to a group called The Haleigh Cumming’s Story and that is where I read that Misty has Lawyer d up, they were also asking where they had heard that, and I just asked on it again if anyone else heard it?
Art, can you clear up,who picked Haleigh up at the bus,it is said that Misty did in the Van, in Ron’s interview he said he did, that she jumped up in his arms etc. Teresa said she did..So why all the different story’s as to who picked her up?? Ron’s shift is suppose to start from 3 P.M. to 3 A.M. so how would he pick her up..But I just watched his Video again and that is what he say’s…Also was the washing machine running when the Cops got there? Misty said she was cleaning at 10 in her interview..So what’s the story on the washing machine..If she was washing blankets at that time, to me that is a huge clue that needs verifying in my opinion…Hope you can answer these..Thanks

2Spunky…I was wondering how they had custody as well,because I read where Chad has a Child Assault record,but I couldn’t make the connection as to why his ex wife would have anything to do with Haleigh, if anything you would think she would want her own Kids back..When you read all this stuff,there is something wrong in the System itself, as to the decisions they are making placing these Kids..This causes one not to sleep at night,wondering what these little ones lives are like in a day..Is there anybody on here from Satsuma to tell us what is going on..as everything seems to quiet..Hope Haleigh is still o.k. and somebody has her in hiding..:(

Also I was just wondering a couple things, #1 When Cobra had Nay-Nay and Amber bailed out I only remember a interview from Nay-Nay and I don’t recall one from Amber.Why? #2 The police report said the washing machine was running, but what was in it.

The only problem that I see with anyone coming forward and reporting what actually happened that night.. If Haleigh is alive and well.. Safe and sound.. if returned now.. she would still go back to ron’s house……. Now, if the Le could guarentee that Haleigh did not return to ron’s house, then I do believe the gate would open wide…..

Been reading over at SM and the thing that pops out is they are saying they do not know about copyright laws. May I suggest Googling “copyright laws?”
What they may not realize is ignorance of the law is not an acceptable defense, either inside or outside a court of law.
Since they are not US based they may think that copyright laws do not apply to them. I would suggest that they read up on the Berne Convention.
Also, nothing needs to be posted on a work as far a copyright. A work is automatically copyrighted as soon as it is penned or drawn. I don’t know what these people are so upset about, all they need to do is listen to Mr. Harris and do as he asks. He has given them the short version of the law. Easy enough to follow.

I still believe Ronald is guilty for Haleigh’s death. I believe that Haleigh was dead and her body disposed of before Ron got to work that evening. The death was probably accidental. Maybe she was drugged, got into drugs without their knowledge or Ron backhanded her and she died from accidental injuries resulting. Misty was unable to handle the kids and shouldn’t have been left in charge of them.
Ron disposed of Haleigh’s body before he went to work and told Misty not to report her missing until he got home. He wanted to be there to see to it that Misty didn’t screw up and tell the truth. When he called her names and accused her of allowing his child to be “stole” during the 911 call, it was his way of warning her to stick with the story or he’d throw her to the wolves, accuse her of doing something to Haleigh. He married her both to appease her and to keep her close in order to control her and make sure she didn’t break down and tell the truth about what really happened when the baby went missing.

you cant figure out a medical condition if you wont go follow up with your doc. in sky973 interview he asks what the docs are saying and she shrugs her shoulders, rolls her eyes, and says they want her to go back for more tests. theyve been telling her that for a month. think she’ll listen now? the center does have cameras outside. its also directly across the street from a police substation. if there was a stalker she could have literally yelled and they wouldve heard it. what stalker sneaks around outside a police station? besides she didnt say someone was there that night. she said her sister thought someone was stalking her (meaning her sister) before that day (prob the cops). the centers not usually open at night(or half the time in the daytime). that was a fluke.

PLEASE PLEASE, answer my questions about washing machine. Was the machine running per police at 345 am?
Did dogs hit on inside of trailor? If so, which dogs? I explained in another post that there were two type of dogs on this. K-9 and cadaver. I know cadaver dogs hit on dumpster but which dogs, if any, hit on the trailor?
I am just like others here wanting the truth but these two facts stick out to me in my own theory of what happened to Haleigh. I would greatly appreciate your answer. I think all day at work about this little girl, go home and have my own daughter ask me again ‘mommy, did they find haleigh yet’ and keep having the scarest dreams from this story. Yes, I put my real name, Lindy, because you don’t like the whole anonymous thing.

RONALD CUMMINGS DOES NOT HAVE A ROCK SOLID ALIBI….
all he has in confirmation that he was at work and worked
his entire shift the night Haleigh WAS REPORTED missing.
There has been NO DETERMINATION on exactly when Haleigh disappeared…..only confirmation of when she was last seen by anyone (outside of Ronald and Misty)….and the time Misty called 911.
Surely there should be some kind of charge that can be placed against the parent for not keeping the child “safe.”

Mr. Harris, thank you so much for your articles. After reading here, I checked out the websleuths site that you mentioned. At face value, they dissect articles from other places such as yours and then comment on them. Personally, I’m not impressed by them due to their content. However, perhaps I am wrong and can’t find information they have found on their own because I am not looking in the proper sea of forums.
At any rate, I’d like to comment on Haleigh’s case. Misty appears to be the key to solving this case, why is it taking the police so long to come to a conclusion? She is so very young to be so very hard.

seasider: she was rebooke this morning, put on suicide watch under the Baker Act, so 72 hour min stay. as i report, PCSD investigators interviewed her immediately and got nothing. they hope to talk to her again after she goes through detox.

I have a couple of questions:
Did RC usually take his dinner break in the cafeteria? Maybe he made sure he had a solid alibi.
Did RC know that a coworker was listening in on the 1st phone conversation (the one where he said, “Whip her, just whip her. . .)?
I have a cousin exactly like RC (Beer, drugs, & more beer).
When he thinks someone is watching/listening that he wants to impress he’s the perfect dad to his children & even calls them “Daddy’s boys”, but when he thinks no one’s around, it’s the exact opposite.
I also noticed that in the above article it says that RC had worked at PDM since Oct. In an interview on NG right after Haleigh went missing TN says that RC had only worked at PDM for a few weeks (there’s a big difference in 4+ months & a few wks). It’s easy to see why there are so many inconsistencies in the stories given to LE. These people are so confusing.
BTW, Art, keep up the good work. My mom & I love your website. We usually check in at least 2x a day. I don’t think we came to it at all last wk. We’re tube feeding 3 puppies & since it’s the 1st time we’ve ever used a tube (we usually bottle feed them), it takes both of us. They’ll be 2 wks on Thurs so we’ve bumped it up to every 3-4 hrs (instead of every 2 hrs). We were both half asleep just about all of last wk.

I do not think that a woman can get an order for violence on children and keep a man (Chad Griffis) away from his children for two years or longer, because she is mad at him.
Sorry, that does not wash. What the order means is that if he goes near his own kids, he could be arrested. This is serious.
Marie Griffis and the rest of her family have the most reason to take Haleigh. Then expose Ron and Misty and seek custody. Then Haleigh will be found safe and sound.
I think Crystal found out about White Boy Greg and Misty. She wanted that in the media. So she put the black man in black and the couch bouncing in Junior’s head. Well, was White Boy Greg at Misty and Ron’s that night? If not, then what about this story? Now, it is Helen Chads exwife that took Haleigh, according to Marie Griffis? Why?
It seems like if Ron Cumming’s and Misty were fine with Crystal and Marie all this time that they could wait till we know what happened to Haleigh before taking the focus off her and putting it everywhere else. They gave it no time at all.
Marie Griffis needs to make up her mind. She insisted Misty had something to do with this. She implied Ron had something to do with this. Greg Page had something to do with this and now we have Helen Griffis having something to do with this. I find the behavior of this family to be very strange and the timing of this even stranger. They have lied many times on national television about why Crystal Sheffield got custody. Nancy Grace did not give Crystal a free pass to lie on her show. So what? Why does everyone on this site want Crystal Sheffield to have a free pass to lie without impunity? You hate Ron Cumming’s so much? So much that you would allow Crystal Sheffied and Marie Griffis to point the media in all kinds of wrong directions? Do you hate Ron Cumming’s so much that you would rather have him convicted in the media than have Haleigh Cumming’s found or find out what happened to her? It seems to me the Sheffield family hates him that much.

Surprised to hear that Misty got herself a lawyer. Didn’t she state that she didn’t need one that only guilty ppl needed a lawyer? Maybe she realizes that things are getting a little close for comfort?
I am not saying Misty is guilty but there are too many things that are not good. 1. Her inconsistencies in her story. If she was drugged out fromt he weekend, she may very well be able to convince herself she didn’t do anything. 2. She calls Ronald at work and states she cannot handle Haleigh. I think there is more to the story than this. How long had she been babysitting children? How many times did she have this problem? 3. She supposedly states “boys are easier”. We don’t know if this is true but appears that Haleigh was real rebellious towards Misty. I find it hard that a 5 year old would really know the difference of living together or married.
Ronald does not appear to love Misty. That is my opinion of watching them at the ceremony and reception. Using the term “f’g bitch is not a love handle. He meant what he said on the 911 call, it was her fault Haleigh was missing.
I think LE needs to sit him down and ask him what he meant by 75% sure of who took Haleigh. Instead of using they or you, or them…he used “he” in referring to the “kidnapper”. Doesn’t Ronald really want to know what happened? I would be constantly asking questions.

Until LE comes out and specifically states “Ronald Cummings worked his entire shift from 4:30 until 3am”, I say he DOES NOT have a rock solid alibi. LE has only confirmed he was at work – has NOT said when he clocked in or out. Period. Would have to wonder WHY as this would be easy enough to clear.

OK well there you have it….even the police said:
“I don’t consider druggies credible,” he tells me, “and heaven knows we’ve got a lot of those down here. They’re like interviewing rocks, memory’s not very good.”
Well he better wake up and smell the coffee,and add Misty and Ronald to that list of “druggies too,
A time card can say you were at work all night , even if you took a “lunch break” and didn’t punch back out !!!
No matter what the circumstances are, I believe ROnald and Misty are BOTH guilty. Even if Misty followed through on Ronald’s word of “whip the brat” anhas and she(Misty) went too far, Ronald KNOWS what REALLY happened, and just isn’t saying anything.
This is another case of using a child to make money, just like the Anthony’s. Ronald got donations for the Haleigh SEARCH, and lived off it…then he went out and took the money at HaleighBug ! What’s up Ronald ? Needed the money to go out and buy some more pills for you and your baby bride? YOU NEED to be in JAIL !!!

DEAR ART: If not for YOU, entire aspects of this case would have gone by the wayside. Whatever it takes to keep you (and your cohort, Cobra) on the JOB ==must be accomplished.
I have one question: HAS copies of your interviews with the various “persons of interest,” or unrelated third party witnesses BEEN SENT TO CPS?
If so, WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE waiting for? Another example of CPS mismanagement? Every word coming out of the mouths of anyone with first hand knowledge of Ronald Cummings has to be CAUSE FOR CONCERN. These people (cps) are derelict IN THEIR DUTY. HAD CPS acted earlier to remove Haleigh and JR from Ronald & Misty’s DUBIOUS custody –Haleigh would still be alive.
WHY is no one calling cps ON their misconduct? Ron’s answer to everything SEEMS TO BE: whipping Haleigh ==and anyone else who gets in his way or defies HIM. His explosive temper (quick-spring fuse) ALONE should disqualify HIM from ever having custodial influence over any defenseless child (or individual) …like his CHILD brides. This man is obviously INCAPABLE of an ADULT relationship and thus, he seems to BRIDE shop at child care centers.
THIS is not indicative of responsible adult behavior.
CRYSTAL has every right TO SUE CPS (and the state) for dereliction of duty ==if Haleigh is NOT returned … it will be DIRECTLY because Ronald WAS NOT A “fit parent” nor a responsible care=taker BY ANY standard (no matter HOW LOW).

Thank you Art, Cobra, and Jane for keeping Haliegh’s story alive. I feel so badly for Haliegh and Junior. If Misty was just the babysitter, she would have been in jail months ago. She was the last person to see Haliegh. I think that Ron knows what happen to his child. I wonder who was caring for these kids when Misty was running around with WB Greg and NayNay? How do we know Ron didn’t hurt Haliegh before Misty came back? I think Misty is covering for Ron!I hope and pray Haliegh is alive but to me Ron and Misty have moved on.

This case is screwed up. Follow the money, follow the money. Ronald is a wannabe drug player, Misty is a skank whore, where the hell is Haleigh? Maybe Ronald Cummings did the math and saw where he could pick up half a million by making his daughter disappear, maybe he could buy a car or a nice boat, like George Anthony did. As in the anthony saga, the child is forgotten, as the pain and woe of the parents and the killer and their pain is kept alive in the media. Caylee Anthony has become known as “remains” while we are fed an all you can watch buffet of trite info, what did Caysee buy from the commissary this week. Enough already. let’s find Haleigh and punish the players mercilessly.

I see Crystal does and has done no wrong, IMO that was Crystals goal when she started the abuse stories. I lived with being abused for 16 years and I know what it looks like,even years later… she is not being honest sorry…. I see her as a scorned woman…I see people are talking about Crystals fiance’s ex and saying that exes make up stories to cause problems for the man out of jealousy,so what makes her different then Crystal? What? Crystal not capable?? come on, stop giving free passes and start looking at BOTH sides equally…. If that can not be done by ANYONE , then Haleigh is being failed once again sadly. Crystal is failing her by this crap she has started for her own gain… I hope HOPE someone will open their eyes soon so we can find Haleigh.. Crystal is not the innocent victim and perfect little woman you all portray her as… stop giving her free passes.. she has failed her daughter by creating this crap for her own selfish wants/needs.

p.s. karen – what does it say about crystal that several judges chose this loser of a parent over her? not one judge. several judges. whats she gonna say? hey judge i know a bunch of you said i was a crappy parent and i know i never showed up to any of my hearings but i wanna sue the state for not taking better care of my kids. after they got done laughing they’d throw her in jail for wasting the courts time. she shoulda been a mom and they wouldnt have had to choose for her!

A personal injury attorney? Maybe going to sue Kim Picazio? I wonder or maybe just to get her to pipe down. Seems to have worked. I mean she did lie about the eye. That was pretty bad. I guess the other info she has was not news worthy? I just think she ended up making Crystal look bad.

I do not get why they would lie about who picked her up. It makes no sense at all. She was in school and that is all that matters and people saw her after he went to work. Maybe they both picked her up together, maybe one of them has the wrong day and is think of another day they picked her up. I still wonder if people say Misty picked her up in the van, how when Chelsea had the van. who are the other kids that they saw piled into the van Misty was driving. People get mixed up and maybe it was a different day. Even it is not, it does not seem related to the kid going missing at all.

When will Misty Croslin turn 18 when she does i can see the police really pressing her for info. I dont think they are pressing her enough because she is only 17. But i think misty croslin was having sex with white girl greg page that night in Ron Cummings home and if Haleigh told her dad he would have flipped out on Misty Croslin. So i think white girl Greg Page disposed of her and left the back door open. Iam a male and over 18 years of age and if this was me watching these kids and one went missing i bet i would be sitting in jail trust me and charged with child neglect child endangerment.So why dont the police press misty like they would me? I think it because she is 17, but she is the key to this whole mystery!!!!!!!!!!! She knows what happened trust me!!!! how did the guy get in ? Was the back door unlocked? From what ron said no they dont use that door so it stays locked. So the kidnapper enter thur the front probly then why did he walk out the back and make all that noise when he could just walk out where he came from plus he had to have a hand over the girl mouth so she couldnt scream so how did he unlock the back door leave it open and pick up a brick and place it their while having a child restrained and mouth covered with his hand? Misty knows what happened she just didnt like the kid i think!!!

Ron Cumming has to be working for the police how do you get 5 charges dropped??? did he have Robert Shapiro as his lawyer .Trust me their is no way the police or the prosecutor would drop all charges and not pleading to na one of them charges. This has never happened in the world unless you gave them something or the judge and prosecutor is related to you. Iam not stupid and i can read between the lines he gave them info at the very least. I think they made him wear a wire thats usually the standard procedure and if they get a conviction from the the wire then they drop rons charges!!!! He at least gave up major info or wore a wire

My thought is that even though Ron has an alibi for the night that they called 911, does not mean thats when Haleigh died/was murdered. She could have been killed the weekend before when Misty left for 3 days or by Ron anytime before work. THey could have made sure to call 911 after he got home from work to create an alibi. I wanna know the exact last time someone other than Ron or Misty saw this little girl.

william remy do you get out much? look at the PCSO web site at all the charges some of these people have who are still running the roads. look at naynays boyfriends record that art posted. lots of pages of charges but u can find him behind the waffle house every night sellin his dope and workin his girls says cobra. rons piddly little charges are nothing in the grand scheme of things. get real.

Crystal, she was in school on Monday the 9th. School confirms it, lots of people saw her after school, which means she was alive and well on the 9th. If she hadn’t been seen the rest of the day before bed, Jr. would have told someone that. Does that help?

I just saw on the news a women teacher is going to jail for having sex with a sixteen year old kid. She is 34. Am I wrong but Misty was 16 and having sex with a then 24 YO Ron. Why is that ok???? I really don’t understand!!!!

Whatever Mr. Cumming’s problems are or were he is being treated very badly by the media and some of the public. The rumor mill is ridiculous. The statements by Marie Griffis and Crystal Sheffield are ridiculous. If one pays attention to the facts and to what Crystal and Marie have stated and when they said it, one sees a clear pattern of lies. Lies that are intended to make Crystal look good and Ron look Bad. My question is why? Haleigh Cumming’s is missing. The only chance of her being found alive is if someone out there see’s her and reports it. If people believe that Ron Cumming’s or Misty Croslin killed her, they will not look for her. Yet, Crystal and Marie keep saying Haliegh is out there. Pleading with a kidnapper to bring her home. Saying LE needs to find her. Saying she is alive. Why then take the focus of her? Is Crystal’s reputation in the media more important than finding Haleigh? That is what it seems like to me. How much airtime has Marie and Crystal spend explaining how Crystal is a good mother? We have two entire interviews about a near drowning incident and Crystal rescuing Haliegh. We have tons of abuse alligations. Entire shows with Kim P saying Ron Cumming’s beat his children bloody and tossed them down the stairs. That Kim P has people coming out of the woodwork and may witnesses to this abuse. DFS has been called for years by Crystal and Marie. They themselves admit calling. This clearly explains why DFS is involved with the family. Yet people accept them being involved as proof of abuse. Crystal left her children behind. This is clear from her my space (which has been changed), from her own statements about her child Haleigh and that by her own admission she had no idea when Haliegh was ill or attended school. She has lied to police before.
Even filed a false police report. She has lies on national television and now we have proof that Kim Picazio lies about a playground injury. I believe she lied because she did not know that photographs existed to prove that she was deliberately misleading us. I wonder what else she would have misled up about if Ron Cumming’s had not retained council? All this while little Haleigh is missing. None of this had to be in the press. It is in the press because Crystal Sheffield put it in the press. If every lie this woman has told was pointed out, it would be clear nobody can believe a word out of her mouth. So, my question is this, could someone on this side of the situation have taken this child for the purpose of getting custody.

25 spunky, but Cobra say only folk that saw Haleigh is at bus stop. I see in news that AC man saw Haleigh and Granny and some children’s, and I guess Junior. What you think why Cobra do this? He say he have Crystal over his hotel for a swim he get mad Ron have a lawyer but he got Crystal a lawyer and like made it so Ron had to get a lawyer to save his self from this Kim Picazio who did a huge lie about the black eye. I still find it interesting that the grandmother was at the house at 8PM the night Haleigh went missing. Someone Misty knows took the child. Either the kid caught Misty doing the nasty on the couch with someone other than her fiance or Misty wasn’t home and left the back door open and the kid went to find her and she was snatched. How do we know the grandmother didn’t take the kid to save her from the life of abuse and give her to a safe house of sorts?

Hi Art. I’d first like to say that I have great admiration for you and your resources. I very often check into your site, especially for updates on Haleigh Cummings. This is the first time I’ve actually left a comment and feel silly but wanted to let you know that you may have me mixed up with another poster. I am Jersey*Girl at WS and would never not link back to any article that I may refer to. There was a short period that we were not allowed to link to this site, but I believe it’s allowed now…as per Tricia…since it’s been investigated and you are held in high regard. It is my understanding you are a good journalist with good researchers. I would also never post somebody’s complete article, only a snippet, and would most certainly provide a direct link. I am extremely conscientious in the majority of my posts and do extensive research before I put my thoughts out on the net. In reading the above posts, I do see that it’s been hashed out, but I feel bad b/c it was confused in the first place. You can check my previous posts on WS to see how sincere I am…especially on Caylee’s threads. I know this sounds a bit trivial, but I just wanted to relay to you that the Jersey Girl you were referring to is definitely not me. I felt very bad when I read that post, embarassed by the confusion. Should I change my hat? Please let me know. Everyone else, please spare me the humility of making fun of this trivial post…it must have bothered me somethine fierce if I had to post about it.
