Exclusive Police Tape Reporting Ronald Cummings Drive By

It was Sunday night about 10 p.m. when a frightened grandmother called the Putnam County Sheriff’s dispatch line. Mary Brooks, 63, had just been alerted that the father of missing five year old Haleigh Cummings was cruising through her parking lot in his purple Nissan Altima with tinted windows.
“You know Ronald Cummings, whose daughter is missing?” Mary Brooks asked the dispatcher on the exclusive police audio tape obtained by The Bald Truth.
“Yes, Ma’am,” replied the officer.
“He was driving through my parking lot tonight,” explained the grandmother of Amber Brooks, an ex- Cummings girlfriend who gave birth to his disabled son, Jordan.
“I have custody of his son he claimed he didn’t have (on national TV when Cummings mentioned he only had two children); he’s one year old and I’m very leary about that,” Mary Brooks went on. “(Ronald) and his new wife (Misty)…drove through here, and about an hour later, some guy come knocking on my door, and I didn’t answer it.”
In an interview Wednesday, Brooks told me her youngest daughter, Renee, 25, had come rushing into her house and said, “Mom, Ronald (Cummings) is riding around in his car, in parking lot,’ And I said, ‘You gotta be kidding me!’” But it wasn’t until an hour later, after a thin black man she didn’t recognize knocked on her door that she called police, fearing he might be scouting for Ronald.
Tipped to the incident Sunday night by William Staubs, a tireless bounty hunter and private eye nicknamed “Cobra” who is working pro bono on the Haleigh Cummings mystery, I called police, then a source who said he’d earlier told Cobra he’d heard over a police scanner that Cummings’ son, Junior, had knocked on the grandmother’s door, asking to see his brother. The source is a local preacher who monitors police radio traffic and has been reliable in the past.
Only the Junior incident never happened, I can now report. It’s not on the police audio tape I obtained, and, while authorities are checking the radio traffic, Mary Brooks tells me, in an exclusive interview Wednesday, she never saw Junior.
“I wish I had seen him, I miss that little rascal,” said Amber’s grandmother, Mary recalls putting out crayons and coloring books for Haleigh and her little brother, Junior. Amber and Ronald would bring them to visit, she said, when Amber was pregnant with Jordan and living with Cummings. “She watched Haleigh and Junior all the time.”
But on Sunday night, she said, there was no reason for Cummings to be in her ‘hood, she figured–except one: She feared he might be trying to take the toddler he’d fathered with Amber. Jordan has been staying with her.
With no legal custody order in place, Cummings would be well within his rights to demand she hand over the child, as the biological father, say family law experts, even though Amber Brooks claims her ex has seen little of the child since they split, and pays no child support.
In our interview, Mary Brooks told me that she’s has the birth certificate that names Cummings as the biological father, and has been caring for the baby for several months after Amber tumbled into an abyss of drugs and partying.
Indeed, Amber was arrested Monday and charged with cocaine possession, along with Misty Cummings party friend Kristina Prevatt; her grandmother tells me she dropped by to visit Monday night after Cobra bonded the women out of Putnam County jail and treated them to a chicken dinner. Mary says she begged her grandchild to go to rehab “to get her life straight, but she didn’t want none of it,” says Brooks.
In a recent interview, Prevatt told me she’d run into Amber while chauffeuring Misty Cummings on her weekend of drugs, sex and rock and roll with “White Boy Greg” Page. According to police and interviews I’ve done with her and other friends, it was a party that ended 36 hours before Misty reported Haleigh had vanished from the trailer the 17 year old babysitter shared with Ronald.
Witnesses tell me Misty and Amber nearly came to blows at a party that weekend, with Amber smarting that Misty had not only stolen her ex, but concerned she was threatening to take her son, Jordan.
According to her grandmother, Amber had few role models, and dropped out of high school. Mary had legal custody for a year when Amber was 12 “because her mother had drug problems. Amber is following in her mother’s footsteps,” says Mary.
Amber was born when her own mother was 19. “She wasn’t the mothering type,” says Mary who counts four children and several grandchildren, including Amber’s little brother, Dawson, age 8. “I think all my kids would tell you they had it good growing up,” says Mary, who moved from New Jersey to Palatka with her husband years ago.
When Amber lived with Ronald, she got to see Haleigh and Junior when they’d visit. “They’d come by every couple of weeks,” she says. “His kids are adorable. Junior is a sweetheart, but he told me Haleigh was his favorite. You could tell.”
As for discipline, she once saw him spank Junior when he was sucking his thumb at two years old, she says. “I don’t believe in that. He was crying, so I picked him up and sat on the couch. Why beat a child for sucking his thumb? But I never seen him rip ‘em up and throw ‘em or anything drastic.”
Calls to Cummings’ mother, Teresa Neves, and his lawyers, asking for comment, were not returned by press time.
When Amber left the baby with her grandmother when Jordan was three or four months old, Mary Brooks says she got a call from Ronald. “He said, ‘I want to see the baby. So he came over and took the baby. The next day he was back at my house with Jordan and all his things.” She says that was his father’s last visit.
To complicate matters, Jordan was born with a genetic disorder called Microcephaly, where the head is smaller than normal from abnormal brain growth. It’s associated with Down’s syndrome, according to medical texts, and can be caused by a variety of factors, including, if during pregnancy the mother abused drugs or alcohol, was exposed to toxic chemicals or other diseases. She worries about Jordan.
“He’s very hot-tempered,” says Mary, “has fits and cries and screams, but to me, he’s very smart. I’m just worried about him later.”
She was also worried when a man knocked on her door Sunday night, an hour after Cummings did his drive by. Mary Brooks says she told police she feared he was sent by Ronald to take Jordan, who she adores and draws a small government check for his disability.
On the police tape we obtained, Brooks can be heard saying she “peeked out my peep hole” and saw a “thin, black guy, maybe a friend of (Ronald’s). He does not need to be here, claiming, you know, bothering me about the baby he said he didn’t have.”
The “baby he didn’t have” is a reference to Cummings statement when Haleigh went missing, saying he only had two children, says Brooks. “He didn’t mention Jordan.”
On the tape, the dispatcher asks, “When he came through, did he stop at all or drive through?”
“He just cruised through and my daughter was coming through and they passed each other, and she (saw) his new wife…I’m the great grandmother, and I have custody of the baby and I’m very upset…”
“OK, I’m going to get an officer out there,” says the dispatcher. “If he comes back, just call me back and don’t open the door.”
“Thank you,” said Brooks.
When officers drove through the neighborhood looking for Cummings, they didn’t see his car, but did interview Brooks. No report was filed because there was no evidence a crime had been committed, Palatka police officials told me. But Brooks tells me she followed up with a visit to police headquarters Tuesday and asked an officer to to fill out an incident report.

If it is his kid, he should demand that the child be handed over to him. Granny is not young and Amber is not parenting material. Since when is it a crime to drive through a parking lot anyway? As a matter of fact if Ron Cummings had knocked on the door and asked to see his son, would that be a crime? Amber is very bitter I have heard. Because Misty wanted Ron to seek custody of the baby. That Misty met Ron when she went to him because she was concerned about this boy. Maybe DCF can investigate Amber Brooks.

Ronald, cruising neighborhoods, what a thug. Doesn’t this man have better things to do than to cruise the hood with his childbride? I would assume he’d be more interested in gaining employment. Why would the police not find him immediately? You would think someone would be following this punk around, but yet he escapes the law yet again. Were there any drugs in the car? Was Ronald high and drunk again? What is wrong with the le down in Satsuma? Do they need Ronald brought in on a silver platter? What’s it going to take to get Sheriff Hardy and the rest of his crew to MOVE IT already? For the sake of a missing five year old child, Haleigh deserves better than these idiots who continue to insult her by ignoring the fact that SHE IS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE. Ronald and Misty need to be locked up, why le is letting them cruise the streets and look for trouble is beyond me.

DCF needs to monitor them all 24/7. They need to assign each their own personal parenting assistant to each parent/grandparent/step-parent/babys daddy/babys mama/girlfriend/boyfriend/babysitter. Florida will need to ask for a bailout to fund the treatment and rehabilitation of what seems to be a whole community. What a mess!!!

Might not be a crime to drive through the parking lot, but isn’t there laws in florida against harassment? And where do you draw the line between harassment and a crime being commited. Grandma says she has custody, so what rights wouldn’t she have? Just because she’s a great grandma does’nt mean she’s too old to take care of the child, she could very well be in her mid 50’s, and, she had enough sense to call LE to avoid trouble, and to keep the child safe from possible harm. OMG. The two already lost one child, would you trust one of yours with them??????

i don’t know art, great grandma not only sounds old but has that nasal quality that usually sounds like someone has been drinking quite a bit. maybe just prescription drugs. what is wrong with that county is there anyone sober there or responsible. those poor children, no wonder you, kim and cobra are there trying to help, is it just those involved in this case that are so bad off or is there really people there who are normal? give us an idea of what the community or county is really like through your eyes.

In response to Sal… And I have to say, I am a shy person and not a confronting one at all…..These kids need a new life. Outside of Ron or Amber. Not with druggies, not with men who sleep with kids. I understand that culturaly these things may be ok, but is is it really ok? when you get to the meaT and potatoes of the issue, or to the heart of the truth? If so then Haleigh turning tricks for drugs at age 14-17 is ok and what we should accept/expect as her lot in life? That is the norm I am seeing here. That is good? Acceptable? Let me assure you that I have done way more research than just this site. I, in no way, want to be combative to anyone, that is not my nature, but things are not right here. Ok, so none of this is confirmed, you may say… Then let us wait til it is to decide. We are talking about the children here, what or whom is more important than them. Granma done what was right for god sake haleigh has been missing for two month and a half. than a african american come knocking on the door what the hell could have happen at that very moment who no’s. he have not seen his child for over a year since he has been born. there is no way in hell the law can give that baby to ronald in the mess he is in about his daughter haleigh. granma was protecting her grand son Jordan, and her self. look what happen those two guys from jail in palatla broke out on go’s to his grandmother house murder her steal her car, any way it was the right thing to do. Ron and Misty drove through great grandmas parking lot. An hour later a thin black guy was knocking at her door. Did great grandma assume this “guy” was an associate of Rons because he was thin or because he was black? I am sure it never crossed great grandmas mind that this guy could be looking for her saint of a granddaughter Amber. No mention of JR on the 911 call or the dispatch. Great grandma didn’t sound frightened to me, just concerned. Someones just adding fuel to the fire.

So, IF RONALD is the father and as Florida law will have it, why didn’t Ronald come to the door and ask to see Jordan? Another diversion and scare tactic by Ron, or was he just looking to see if Amber was home and wanting to get some drugs? What a mess! DCF-I know the economy is terrible, but can you hire some qualified people? And this “case”, is the only one we are hearing about. Three kids by the same father and all are getting ignored by the the “system”. This is just sickening the more and more this case goes on, now where the heck is Haliegh! I don’t think it’s a crime. But after all this time of Ronald not being in the child’s life and claiming the baby is not his, it doesn’t make much sense for Ronald to go there. Plus, if he wanted this child, then why didn’t he himself go to the door? That is if he wasn’t up to something. Plus with his daughter missing… this just doesn’t add up. Ronald and Misty both have made numerous action and decisions since Haleigh’s dissaperance that don’t make sense. Actiona and decisions that you wouldn’t make if your child was abducted… not unless you knew the child wasn’t coming back or you knew where that child was. If Ronald has made no attemps in the time the child with Amber Brooks was born till now….. why now???

For starters you can hear the plotters of this crap cackling in the background,laughing it up,probably pilled up and/or liquored up.Next ,who recorded this ? Is this an original 911 copy from the police? If so,why was it given to be put on the net,or is it public access for anyone in Florida,or did grandma and the mob at her house tape it?I think DSS should go remove the child from that household since the crackhead mother is in jail. Even if she is out already on bond they should still take the baby. What a sick bunch of losers. Poor baby,doesn’t stand a chance. Lastly, I heard through the satsuma gossip chain that Ronald had not even been there,that it was all a plotted tale.Dunno. Regardless ,even if he had been in the parking lot ,how did it come to belong to the old lady on the phone? She said “her” parking lot.Also,I see to many people crying wolf where Cummings is concerned. Maybe the cackling crew at this house had something to do with Haleigh dissapearing. The last thing Misty and Ron need right now is another child. DCF needs to investigate this family too. Maybe Grandma is appropriate. Maybe not. Sounds like Misty may be trying to manipulate Ron to get the baby to get back at Amber. Awfully immature of them. I hope DCF (which has an awful reputation in Fla) intervenes soon.

Sal – I have to disagree with you. Right now, Ronald has got enough on his plate and I do think his intentions were honorable. It was just an act to throw his weight around some more.
He doesn’t claim Jordan as his own. He has not and does not pay child support. He has another child he should be concentrating his efforts towards finding.
If he is set on getting Jordan, then he should go through the proper channels, the court. However, I don’t think he should have custody of junior right now. The great-grandmother is probably not as old as you think since Amber is only 20!

HE NEEDS TO DEMAND HIS CHILD BRIDE TO TELL HIM WHERE HIS DAUGHTER IS!!! I haven’t heard much about the grandmother of Amber, but until I hear different, I thank God she has custody of the child. If the grandmother, has custody as she states, there had to of been some filing in family court for her to have the custody or guardianship over the child, Ronald didn’t want him then. Why now?? If Ron, wants to see his son, he should take the correct measures in doing so & that would be to petition family court! And, family court might not look to kindly on him taking measures on his on to see the child, after all the lapse in time of him not seeing Jordan! Misty could care less about Ron’s baby!!

i hope this child is found soon, as this story goes on it is horrible ,what this child endured sad!!someone needs to be brought to justice !as i keep reading it seems to me someone is hiding something.i think it is misty .how can they sleep at night?the lifestyle they led was a gateway for this child vanishing to happen !god only knows what happend to this angel i pray everyday that she is found alive!people like ron and misty should not be able to breed!so heartbreaking!

Let me get this straight, the Great g-ma never even seen Ron and Misty? Her cocaine addicted daughter Lisa claims to have seen them and she took her word. Then an hour later some mysterious man knocks on the door. I don’t get it.
I understand an elderly lady not opening her door to strangers. No woman should no matter the age. But what does Ron have to do with all this?
And how did this story blow out of proportion to where people were saying that Ronald Junior went up to the door?
This is what is so frustrating about this investigation. There are way too many people willing to lie and embellish stories just to gossip. I wish everyone would just think of Haleigh and not worry about all this other trash.

In the my space of Amber Brooks, I read where Misty wrote to her saying, “I got yo man and I’m goin to get yo child next”. These are not the exact words, but they are very close to what she told Amber. Why in the world would she want another woman’s child????? Misty is the lowest form of mother material, that ever was,,,,,,I pity any children she brings into this world…………She is a vindictive witch and for no other reason, other than Amber was with Ronald, she is wanting to get her hands on another child, when she “lost” poor little Haleigh……….Misty,,,,this is for your info…..When the time is right Ronald is going to throw you under the bus. If you don’t know what that means, I strongly suggest you ask someone. You are a very ignorant and ugly person, and Ronald is using you for some reason…….Have you asked your self why, he was mad the day yall got the marriage certificate???? He was NOT a man in “LOVE”. The little boys Grandma has him and may be doing okay. DCF should be involved but Misty and Ron are probably guilty of wrongdoing and Junior needs to be with someone other than any of his family too. I still can’t understand how you loose a child you are sleeping in the same room with. I’ve never seen a case where the child has been abducted from a bed next to the parents bed!

Ronald Cummings has no business being the custodial parent of any of his children. If the above incident did occur, he was most likely trying to take the child in retaliation and not due to concern.

So, if true that great grandma has custody of Jordan so be it! One smart thing Amber did, was give the child to someone who would care for the child. Why would anyone even want to give this child to Ron? He already lost one child due to neglect, knowing what Misty was up to and still left Haleigh and Jr. in her care….What is DFS doing? Waiting for another child to go missing or end up dead? Where is Haleigh??????????????? Why does Ron still have custody of Jr.??????????? Just because he is the bio-father does not mean he is a good father! That goes for any bio-parent! It takes more to be a parent than to claim the name!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone listened to this? Amber’s the one that told her grandmother that Ron drove thru…and she took several jabs at him on the call. I’m not sure I’m buying it. “You know Ronald Cummings whose daughter is missing? Well you know the son he claims he didn’t have?” She says that about the son he claims he didn’t have like 4 times…you can also hear her and someone in the background laughing, and Amber’s in the background telling her what to say. He’s a prick, but I’m not buying this story. Grandma’s wanting her 10 minutes of fame now.

FYI – there’s absolutely NO mention of Jr coming to the door…I’ve listened to it 3 times, and she doesn’t even mention Jr’s name…she just mentions that Ron and his new wife drove thru the parking lot, and that later a skinny black guy rang the doorbell, which she never answered (just looked out the peephole). So we have pages and pages of people talking about how poor Jr. was made to go to the door of Amber’s house and how he tried to lure the 1 year old out, and none of that is on this 911 tape at all. The grandmother was calm, casual, sounded like she was puffing a cig, and laughed a couple of times…in between the “you know, the son he said he doesn’t have” comment.

If case you missed the news the better parent’s 5 year old daughter is missing. He left a 17 year old drug addict to watch her at night. The one that screws anything that walks. Remember her. The one you said wanted him to get custody of said son. I guess if he got more child support money they would be able to do more drugs. Ron and Misty are not parenting material either. The grandmother said she has custody. Ronald Cummings needs to leave decent people alone. He has gone around demanding too much already and he does not have to right to demand anything from anybody.

LOL…an HOUR after they allegedly saw Ron and Misty (NO MENTION OF JR), it says “Mary Brooks did say on the police tape that she “peeked out my peep hole” and saw a “thin, black guy, MAYBE A friend of (Ronald’s). He does not need to be here, claiming, you know, bothering me about the baby he said he didn’t have.” Now it’s MAYBE a friend of Rons? She doesn’t even know who this guy is or if he even KNOWS Ron. She never mentions AT ALL that this “thin black guy” says anything at all to her. So, basically, we have grandma “hearing” that Ron & Misty drove thru a public parking lot…didn’t see them, just heard they did…then an HOUR later some unidentified black guy that she never heard say a word rang her doorbell, which she never answered. And from that, there’s been 24 hrs of “did you hear Ron showed up and sent Jr. to the door while some black dude stood beside the door and tried to kidnap Jr.???” THAT’S why police have no leads in this case. Everyone’s wanting to be seen and heard, and there’s absolutely no truth about Ron trying to kidnap this kid, or that he was even involved! He’s still a prick, don’t get me wrong, but why all this drama over something that’s clearly not true??

Let them investigate everyone involved. This baby is disabled, and to my knowledge Ronald has had nothing to do with the child since his birth, didn’t even claim him. How do we know that the child is even his? If he knows Jordan is his, why did he deny paternity till now? This man is a menace to his children. He only thinks about himself and Misty. Their wishes are paramount, and it seems that both are more concerned about getting back at Amber than the welfare of the child. Leave the child where he is if an investigation shows he’s being loved and well cared for. Jordan doesn’t know Ronald or Misty from Bonnie and Clyde.

Ron is about Ron. He wants Jordan for the income he can get from him, and so he can pile up back child support on Amber. If he really cared about him, he would have had something to do with him before now. If he really cared he would go about seeking custody in a civilized manner, not try to abduct him, even the law is on his side. He’s showing no concern for the trauma he might cause Jordan by suddenly removing him from the only home and caregivers he knows and replacing them with strangers.
I can’t stand this man. I’m guessing Ron will one day be revealed as Haleigh’s killer.

This note is to the Children’s services ( Art, you could pass it on ). On almost all the myspaces I read, before they went PRIVATE, there was a reference to marijuana. Pics of the plant, and saying this was their favorite “pastime”…….This is on Misty’s brother’s pages, along with pics of their little kids as well as others, related to Misty and her friends…..If this is so important to these people with children, why doesnt LE investigate them. Le needs to raid their homes for drugs. All these kids are in danger down there, being parented by hillbilly, trailer trash, pot heads, and someone needs to put a stop to it.

Ronald is an unfit parent/bofriend/person. Hasn’t anyone wondered why the three girls(starting at age 14)are the ones he is attracted to.
I am a mother and grandmother. Why aren’t the police arresting him for statuatory rape? And also, with his rap sheet, why were all these charges dismissed?
Not for a moment do I believe Ronald had anything to do with his daughters dissapearance. But what I do believe is he was involved and still is with drugs, abuse and bad company. With all of this, whether it be a drug deal gone bad, Misty/underage girlfriend/wife having wrong people at the trailer or maybe he was pimping her out since he admitted that he knew she was with another guy, and married her. He is a PIG!!!

#2–I think you are right on the money. I was thinking the same thing about benefits for the kids..they ALL have problems. Jordon has a soft spot, Ron Jr. has a heart murmer & Haleigh has turner syndrum. Misty was trying to get Ron to take custody of Jordon, so maybe Amber set Misty up to take the fall. My worry is, where is she? Amber couldn’t take care of Jordon on her own, certainly she isn’t hiding Haleigh. But, she obviously she has issues with Ron & Misty both. It’s unbelieveable that they are fighting to this extent over this guy. Is it possible Haleigh was snatched while Misty was distracted or passed out & Haleigh was sold? As far as Ron’s job…common sense would tell you to keep in touch. If he was able to get married, travel, get a tattoo, etc. he could have used his cell to call work. There is no excuse for that. If you want to be treated as an adult, you have to act like one. Personally, I think Crystal is showing alot of restraint. I’d be kicking Misty’s door in by now & grab her by the hair & get some answers about her daughter out of that girl. It may not help, but that girl needs her butt kicked. She was 16yrs. old & trying to take another woman’s child? Why are these kids still with these kids that birthed them? They don’t work, nor do they take care of the kids they already have. Amber & Nay Nay need to talk before Ron comes looking for them again.

Pls check the updated story; the Jordan incident never happened, according to an interview I just had with Mary Brooks, and the police tapes have no mention of it. Read the piece and see if you feel the record has been set straight. I’ve also explained how the information surfaced and was followed up on; police are still rechecking their radio traffic to see if it might have been misreported that way between officers who misunderstood…otherwise, we regret the misinformation. Take a look at the story that sets the record straight. Junior was not at the door; just off the phone with Mary Brooks; conflicts in the story I’ve been pursuing since getting a tip from Cobra Sunday night. That info came from a Cobra source I interviewed twice who had been reliable in the past and said he heard Junior at the door via a police scanner. He listens to them all the time. I’ve asked police to check the radio traffic, in addition to the unedited portion of the tapes I obtained to see if this might have been put out as a misunderstanding. But I can now report Junior didn’t happen. When we report something that turns out to be incorrect, we will report it as quickly as possible. Thanks for holding us accountable, and apologies to Ronald.

This case makes me very sad. Ronald Cummings and his new child-bride Misty seem to think nothing of feeding (emotionally and financially) off Haleigh being missing. For some reason, instead of focusing on finding Haleigh,law enforcement seems to be sitting on its hands and turning a blind eye (think Drew Peterson). Now it seems Ronald is taking it upon himself to assume custody of the child Jordan. I don’t know about Florida, but here if a child is born out of wedlock, custody automatically goes to the mother (unless child protective services intervenes), and no child is handed over to an absentee father just because he appears on the doorstep and hollers I’m-yo-daddy! Paternity has to be proven. Something is fishy that child protective services has not intervened at all with any of these children, and something is fishy that Ronald Cummings seems assured he can ignore the law without consequences. We may be putting faith in the wrong places–I’m not sure law enforcement is competent or objective, if it cares at all…and the same goes for CPS. Meantime, Ronald and Misty continue on their merry way, and Haleigh remains missing.

The 911 call was placed at 9:37PM , not 10PM, per Putnam County Sheriffs Department. Mary Brooks stated an hour later a black man showed up at her door. So, what time did Ronald Cummings drive through her parking lot? I will give her the benefit of doubt and say between 8PM and 8:37PM. Why wait and call 911 and hour after the black man came to her door. If she was frightened by Ronald driving through her apartment complex, why didn’t she call at that time? This whole shituation makes me sick to my stomach. My first problem with this call is who it came from. Nothing against grandma, but she wasn’t alone. Someone was answering her questions in the back ground. Everything I have seen from ALL of these people there is one common factor. Drugs and Lies. All of them! If it is true Ron was in the area and he sent anyone to her door then yes she has reason to worry but she didn’t even sound upset. YOu know, maybe, just maybe, Ron read that the police would use this arrest to try to “squeeze” the girls for info. It could have been a silent threat just driving there and sending someone to the door. Maybe Amber knows something and this is Ron’s way of saying “I will take the kid if you tell”. I think we might be “assuming” he was there for Jordan, when in fact it may have been fear of Amber leaking the truth since she was arrested.

When you have a source who is deemed trustworthy over a period of time it is easy for anyone to continue that trust unless something like this comes up. Personally I can hear the girls laughing in the background on that 911 call that was made by Amber’s GrandMother (The babies G-GrandMother). We do not know what type of scanner reception the source (whom I believe is the Preacher)has and for all anyone knows it could be an extremely low quality scanner with minimal reception and who knows what the background noise sounded like to that person (The original source/the Preacher) who originally contacted Cobra to tell him what he had thought he was hearing.

Maybe Ron figures if he gets custody of Jordan Misty will stop pestering to have a baby, as we’ve heard she has been. Apparently Misty has threatened Amber with taking away her baby, which is despicable, if true. If grandma is getting SSI for the baby, she has legal custody. I don’t think she could be getting those checks without it. This would likely complicate matters should Ronald decide he wants custody. He couldn’t just take off with the child, I wouldn’t think, although he seems to have gotten away with a lot of things he shouldn’t be getting away with. I sincerely go along with his apparent wish not to bring another child into the world, but he needs to leave Jordan alone too.

But I really wish you’d make it a bit more balanced. Why didn’t you mention that the person who claims she saw Misty and Ron in the parking lot was charged with assaulting Misty late last year? She has motive to make it up, imo.

Good Lord!!! How many children has Cummings father? And no child support for this child? I see Cummings as a snot-nosed smartellic who shouldn’t have anymore rights to raise a child then a crawling snail. And even worse then Cummings is that smart-ass 17yrs old kid that he had watching his two children. I pray that the court will see to it that this poor 1yr baby will stay with the grandmother. God, what a horrifying thought that Cummings might get his hands on this poor child. Look grandma Brooks, you need to get a lawyer and make sure that you keep this poor little baby out of the hands of Cummings and that nutty girl Misty, please do what you can to keep this poor baby safe.

A BOLO is a “be on the look-out” for a certain car or person. What nobody says is did the police make contact with Ronald? If not why not? Is the this just another instance of Ronald “skating”. If you drive through a parking lot continuously and keep looking at the apartment where somebody lives it’s either “menacing or stalking”. What did the police do? Nothing”. Why not? What does Ronald have on them? Someone should ask Putnam County Sheriff’s Dept. Keep up public pressure on the police and demand answers. Let’s find Haliegh.

Ok, when any custody battle occurs, lets say Ron pretends he cares about his kid he doesn’t pay for, I bet Ron shaves every hair on his little body to hide all drugs.
I bet his ears perked up big time when he found out the grandma to Jordan gets 500 bucks a month, that makes Crystals ransom look like chump change, hes like the Satsuma child support pirate.
There is no excuse for Ron to be stalking out Ambers, he should know the proper channels to see his child, if thats what he was there for, which I doubt.

Hey Art, Do you have any contact with DFS down there? Can you find out if they are at least actively investigating these families. I’m sure I’m not the only one here who would like some assurance. I’m really worried about all of the children related to Ron, Misty, Amber and anyone else who parties with them. Perhaps DFS is not aware of articles like yours on the internet where these people freely admit to drug use. That 3 day binge of Misty’s should get their attention for starters. I guarantee you if they were in my county all of those kids would have been pulled out of their homes by now.

#23, Justice…I was wondering that as well. Mary never saw Ron, her daughter says SHE saw him, which may or may not be true. Then an hour later, and probably totally unrelated, some dude shows up, who could conceivably have been there for Amber or her mome (since it sounds like her mom’s a bit of a partier as well). Also, Satsuma’s not a big place, and there aren’t but what, 1 or 2 apartment buildings there total? Who’s to say Ron (if he was even there) wasn’t there visiting someone else (like his or Misty’s drug dealer)??
It doesn’t make sense that they would be trolling great grandmas house…not because they’re above intimidating a lil old lady, but because they KNOW they’ve got LE’s microscopes so far up their butts they couldn’t take a pee without LE knowing about it. Why do you think they’re laying so low to begin with??

Susan, somebody knocked on grandma’s door an hour after Ron was allegedly seen driving thru a public parking lot. Nobody knows if this is even slightly related, and no one can even be sure he was even IN the parking lot. Mary didn’t see him…someone TOLD her she saw him. Listen again to the transcript to the party going on in the background and to whoever’s telling her what to say to the police…and to the multiple people, including Mary, that you can hear laughing.

That’s EXACTLY what was on all the party pics on Crystal’s MySpace page, as well as Chad’s page, and her sister Sarah’s page before they went private. All the kids ARE in danger, but sadly, they’re in danger from every side of the families involved…everyone in both families, with the exception of only a couple, have lengthy criminal histories…parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, you name it!!

Art, re: your comment #66, I wasn’t blaming you for mis-reporting this story, my friend. I was actually chalking it up to the good old boy network passing information that was not valid. I know how careful you are about checking and re-checking your sources, as well as your rule about not posting anything from a non-verifiable source, or 2 if you can get it. And a pastor hearing it over a police scanner would normally be pretty valid. I was laughing when I read it this morning because I can just picture some guy looking like Goober Pyle hearing this on his scanner, and before hears the whole conversation, he’s calling Edna-Sue, “over to the soda shop,” who then called Barbara-Jean over at the beauty salon, who followed up with Jimmy-Joe over at the auto-body, then by the time it got to you it had turned into “Jr. was sent to the door to try and lure out a 1 year old child, while Ron gave him direction, and some mysterious black man laid in wait to grab Jordan when he came to the door.”

Art, if your worried about accuracy (as I know you always are), I’d still correct your first paragraph, since Mary clearly states she didn’t see Ron or Misty, that her daughter did. She then goes on to tell you that her daughter (the same one who says she spotted him) is a drug addict as well. I don’t know that I’d call her an overly reliable source, and either way, it’s hearsay since Mary never saw him. Just a thought…good ethics changing it the way you already have. Not everyone would have done that.

it is amazing how a statement about seeing Ronald driving through the parking lot with his wife in the car gets interpreted as he is looking to steal a child. He never even stopped at the woman’s house! How could anyone assume to know what he was doing. Maybe Misty was looking for Amber or maybe they were just driving. AND what does this have to do with finding Haleigh anyway? Who cares where he drove or who knocked at granny’s door. Are we writing a soap opera or trying to find a missing 5-year-old for goodness sake! This is all such BS. Wow, Junior never went to the door? I have to say that people sure seem ready to believe anything bad about Ron Cummings. People on this site are ready to take Amber’s families word as gospel. Lot of idiots in this work. Easy to see why Cobra and Kim can use these folks for some free publicity. I doubt any of it has to do with Haliegh. Cobra bailed the girls out? Why? In exchange for more dirt on Ron?
Every time anyone tries to point out there is no evidence and Kim Picazio is getting away with murder, people say oh you must be a family member or Ron’s or you must be Ron or Misty. Mr. Morgan, you hope Ronald sues KP? OMG! Who won’t be sued by Ronald? Isn’t his plate a little full with trying to sue PDM for his job back? A lawsuit that he will NEVER ever win. Ronald doesn’t have to worry about being slandered, everything everyone has written about him is true. He’s an idiot fool which no one, not even great mother teresa, can save. He’s like a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. I bet his lawyers are sinking further and further into their seats as each day unfolds.
Ronald is a thug, always has been, always will be. He can’t run fast enough to stay out of trouble and the trouble he inflicted upon Haleigh is about to bite him square in the azz. Denying Ronald Cummings had anything to do with the disappearance of Haleigh is like denying Casey Anthony had anything to do with the murder of her daughter Caylee, simple as that.
If it’s one thing I know, it’s to stay the hell away from Putnam County. That le department is crooked and shadey at best. Sheriff Hardy needs to be investigated and a fresh set of le eyes need to be put on Haleigh’s case. I know, one day we will all read how poorly le handled this case from the start, all the evidence they botched and all the clues they missed. They can start with the late removal of the door, the crimescene being contaminated and detectives who did a poor ass job of interviewing Misty and Ronald the night Haleigh vanished. What a joke down there. Doesn’t anyone higher up in law enforcement want to do anything about the corruption in Putnam County? What a complete joke it is down there.

Karen Lee, I think you are right on about getting state subsidy for the children. He was, most likely, receiving food stamps & welfare for these children… that’s why he took them away from the mom. Most likely, Misty was paid by the state to care for the children while Ronald worked, therefore INCREASING HIS INCOME. And yes, now that he is down one child, he needs another to get money coming in again. Disgusting people!! (Note to all, a disabled child (Haleigh) brings in more money too!)
Did you take a look at Misty’s mom. Where are her teeth…. too much meth?? She’s probably 35, but looks 75! Again, disgusting!
And now Amber Brooks has a child with Robald. Another druggie who did drugs while pregnant and has ANOTHER disabled baby. She(amber) hands her baby over to great grandma since grandma is a druggie too. Don’t ya think that “great grandma” already screwed up her own kids and it keeps snowballing with each generation. Re: Gale St. John – I followed the link from the post above and listened to Gale’s interview. Disappointing. I am convinced Gale is a fraud, not a psychic. She basically interviews Teresa Neves, Crystal, and Crystal’s father in the same manner a journalist would and then concluded ‘not everything adds up’ and ’someone knows something that they’re not saying’. [Ya think, Gale!!?!] She is so general that I’m highly skeptical she passed anything of value to LE.

Great grandma sounded sharp as a tack to me.
Seriously folks, a man who truly has his son’s best interest at heart,
1) pays child support, even if the mom tell him, ‘no thanks’.
2) seeks visitation or custody through his pro bono lawyers
3) Does not cruise the parking lot only to verify which family cars are in Grandma’s driveway and then drive off.
3) does not send a henchman to great grandma’s door — who grandma does not know!! A phone call by Ron ahead of his visit would have come across as more sincere than this hit and run bit. Moreover, why would Ron think that grandma would ever turn over a 1 year old baby to some stranger??? The only truth here is that Ron is a thug and uses his thug friends to do his dirty work — which includes intimidating grandma Brooks.

2Spunky, In the community of Satsuma which is only a small section of Putnam County, there are NO APARTMENTS. There are mobile home communities within this community. I believe that Amber’s mother, Jordan’s Grandmother lives somewhere in Palatka, about 13 miles north of Satsuma.
After reading so much about Satsuma residents being the scourge of the county, I am feeling defensive. After all, not all of US are like the individuals representing us in the limelight and expense of a missing 5 year old girl. Personally speaking, I wouldn’t be caught dead in the company of anyone related or associated with the likes of any of these people intertwined in this case. Nor would my friends or family. Please understand, we’re not ALL like these folks, here in this small community of Satsuma.

Mary–On her most recent TV appearance (last week on JVM, I believe), Kim explained that the DCF investigation takes 60 days, and they were only on Day 40. Once the investigation iicomplete, the findings can be presented to a judge, who can choose to issue a new custody ruling.
Kim is ultra professional, very experienced, and is being very careful to follow every protocol, dot every “i,” and cross every “t,” to make sure she presents the strongest case she can to the court. I’m sure it is impossibly difficult for Crystal to sit and wait on DCF. But that is the proper protocol in this situation, so if there’s a feeling of delay, that would be DCF’s fault, not Kim or Crystal’s.

Mary, a few days back in one her responses to Ron’s lawyers statement, Kim said that DCF was 40 some days into a 60 day investigation. I am thinking that they want that done and the report back to the judge before they do much of anything.

You know, after reading all of this I keep putting little pieces of the screwed up puzzle together. Thinking back to the news footage early on in this case, at first Ron showed tears but how soon those dried up. Misty really never cried it was more like a forced cry so that it looked good. The only one that really ever cried was Ron’s mother. She was always crying, like how a parent would look if their child was missing. Maybe she knows what happened and knows that Ron and or Misty are in on it somehow. The fact that the back door was propped open tells that whoever did this KNEW the lay of the trailer and KNEW that the door would slam shut on it’s own. There are many speculations on what could have happened…. did Haleigh see Misty with another man and Misty thought she’d tell Ron so Misty had to get rid of her, did Haleigh get in the way of a drug deal or into Ron and Misty stash, was she sold for drugs, was she somehow given away due to a drug debt, was she taken in retaliation for something…. the list goes on. If Ron all of a sudden wanted to have something to do with Jordan… if that was really the reason for him to be driving through that area that late at night, then why not do it during the day… why so late at night? Oh, and another thing… for Ron and Misty to be out at the fair acting like two love birds with no cares or worries…. SICK!! Ron’s daughter is missing and they are acting like nothing is wrong. Or perhaps is she really not missing at all and this is just a sick plot for some short lived fame like the Anthony case. A possible way to get some ‘free money’ to feed their drug habit. Is that why Ron’s mother was always crying because she knows how wrong this is. Has anyone stopped to think how strange it is that Ron gets all the charges dropped for drugs… hmm…. his mother works in the sheriff’s office HELLO.. a little fishy to me.

I know that you are very busy with all that you do but perhaps you could find the time to interview someone at DCF that can explain what it takes to remove a child from a home and their parents. Perhaps they can tell you what standards and laws they have to follow. Every agency has rules and laws they must adhere to. Parental “rights” in this country are very strong and regardless of what we think DCF should or should not do, regardless of what a DCF worker would like to do, they can only do what the laws allow.
It only makes sense that if there are thousands of alcohol and drug abusers, thousands of sex offenders, thousands of criminals and thousands of poor uneducated people in this country that there are thousands and thousands of children living in dysfunctional and unsafe environments. If every child of these parents were removed from their homes where would we put them? It may not be that Haleigh, Junior and Jordan are in the right hands but I’m sure there are many children in a similar, if not worse predicaments.
The only solutions we can look to is going to be a change in our current laws regarding the responsibilities of parents and the way they care for their children. Loopholes in the current laws regarding custody between parents after separation need to be closed. Lawyers are obtained to represent the parents not the children. Children are too often used as leverage and pawns against one another as seen in this 2005 case between Ron and Crystal.

Pam #101, I agree, there is no real way to know exactly what the agenda was with Ron that day. On the other hand, when I read the story and picture it as well, I interpret it as a little strange. He just happens to be driving thru the exact parking lot of the residence where his son lives. A son who supposedly he doesn’t support financially and hasn’t seen in a very long time. Then if he wanted to see him, he doesn’t go to the door he sends someone else. I would be a little scared too. I just think it sounds like he was being a little bit intimidating. Could be wrong though.

I totally agree with you and I have been saying that from day one, not everything you read here is fact and going from post to post is like playing that old game telephone. I saw Ronald & Misty driving down the street somehow turns into Ronald Jr. & a black man were accomplices in trying to kidnap a child. 95% of the posters took that fake call and ran with it, just like they do with all the other BS they read. I don’t believe anything about this story other than they are all drug abusers and that a little girl is missing.
You are so right when you say that only the intelligent and well written comments get blasted by the bored, ignorant posters who are only here to get their soap opera fix.
I guarantee that not one single person, other than Art himself, will take back anything they said even though it was all based on lies. This is why our justice system doesn’t work, everyone judges and convicts without the facts. Shame on all of you.

I suspect they do not want to go to court because they know they will loose. I also would like to see some fair and unbiased reporting in this case. If you are going after the father, lets investigate the mother and her fiance. Chad Griffis does not seem like someone I would want any child around. I suspect Kim does not want to deal with Chad’s background in court, where the public is sure to learn the truth.

#79 Brothers Keeper, I am unsure of the dent, but what nay nay was saying about the clothes is that Haleigh and Jr. have a lot of nice clothes, but she don’t know where they come from. I think Nay Nay was trying to get all she could in the limited time she had.

It really saddens me to hear these people speak. I wonder how much schooling all of these people had. You can tell how uneducated they are. Some of the blame has to go on the parenting. Granted, there is only so much a parent can do, but if these were my kids and I saw early on they were getting into drugs, I would have them commited. If they got out and they still did it and they are 18 or over, then they are on their own, but before this, I would do all I could to help them. They started out as kids when they got involved.
I don’t care if there was an absent father. I raised 4 kids single handedly. It wasn’t easy and it demanded all of my time, but the end results turned out great.

2Spunky, In the community of Satsuma which is only a small section of Putnam County, there are NO APARTMENTS. There are mobile home communities within this community. I believe that Amber’s mother, Jordan’s Grandmother lives somewhere in Palatka, about 13 miles north of Satsuma.
After reading so much about Satsuma residents being the scourge of the county, I am feeling defensive. After all, not all of US are like the individuals representing us in the limelight and expense of a missing 5 year old girl. Personally speaking, I wouldn’t be caught dead in the company of anyone related or associated with the likes of any of these people intertwined in this case. Nor would my friends or family. Please understand, we’re not ALL like these folks, here in this small community of Satsuma.

Did Misty get back her belongings that were in trunk? Did Misty know Amber before her and Rons hookup?
They all seem to know eachother in that area. Were they freinds, by definition of what they call freinds, before she starting dating Ron?
Did police question Ron about why he might be in area that night?
I read no crime commited but all I would need as cop is wait for Misty to light cigarette or Ron hand her on. That is illegal correct, she is minor. These people in this seems tangled together like a jigsaw. Keep pushing away Art. Get some better lighting for your cameras and see how many more want to talk about Ron. Somebody besides his mommy, grandma, Misty have to think this guy is nice guy. Right?!
I know you mentioned you have tried to get contact from Ron for interview. Can his lawyer talk for him? Can’t he write up something saying what Ron might want people to know about his efforts to find Haleigh? How do locals in that area treat Ron now that all of this is coming out?

The Croslins and Cummings have been referred to as “Hillbillies” in many of these post. Where are they from? I’m from Appalachia where folks are called Hillbillies. Please don’t judge them based on where they’re from. I have a college degree and my daughters have their Masters Degree. We have have never done any kind of drugs in our life. As a matter of fact, our jobs are with CPS and the court system. The people in my county live in trailers for various reasons. Most of those reasons are NOT financial. Mobile homes are about the only type of housing that will fit into/on top of some of the mountains. Most of the people that live in these “trailers” are far from “Trailer Trash”. I do not and have never lived in a mobile home, but wouldn’t be ashamed to.
I will be the first to agree that they, (Ron, Misty, Amber, Crystal and their mothers), look like the classic crack head trash. No teeth, no shampoo and no soap means trash alright, but not necessarily “trailer trash”.

Lisa, re: #113…the part about Ron sending Jr. to the door was incorrect, and no one knows who the man was at her door an hour later. It could easily have been Amber’s boyfriend. I read one report that says Amber refused DNA/paternity testing when requested by the Cummings clan (I believe it was Neves who was pushing for it). My guess is she didn’t want all that would be in her bloodstream known, but didn’t know it was just a matter of a mouth swab. If she pushes for child support, and he bucks it, paternity is ordered. If she refuses, then she doesn’t really have a leg to stand on. Sounds like she’s all but abandoned baby Jordan anyway, and it doesn’t sound like she’s too concerned about how great grandmother supports Jordan. Very sad.

Christina: Investigators on the team have checked out at least one report of a Haleigh siting in Tenn. Not, it’s not tied to “Joe,” but a hairdresser and a customer who is an engineer described a woman who I called to interview and said it looked like a family member they’d seen no TV…Cobra tracked the lead and so did the PCSD.

It’s been said that jordan may or may not be Ron’s son.However, if he was not why would he go and take him from the grandmother and then return him the next day with all his belongings? I would think if it’s not his son he would not have gone to get him. It’s not like he is trying to do this out of the kindness of his heart. As for the girls that cobra got out of jail. I totally believe they may know just a lil something that might help. I don’t think Cobra would bail them out if he didn’t think they might have a lil something that could help. Art – since I still have to go through moderation and you can delete this, her mom is Lisa. There are two Lisa’s I think. Lisa Brooks has many assaults on her record.
My fear is the friction between Amber and her mother with RC and MC escalated and they may have used Nay Nay to get to Haleigh. They may not have realized how bad this would blow up and they got stuck with the little angel.
And like an earlier poster said, there are some very interesting rumors in Baker Co about Crystal…I wish you would check them out. I don’t think CS took Haleigh, but I’m not so sure someone in Marie’s family didn’t. Lots of history there. I don’t expect Cobra to check out Crystal but you have excellent investigative skills – put them to use and don’t believe everything Cobra feeds you!

Once again I found another night I just can’t stop thinking about this mystery case. The players in it are so distrustful it is hard to stay focused on goal. I can see why police Misty key for timeline because of these girls she hung out with. Ronald said in one Cobra interview he wanted Misty to stay close so that why he married her. I am starting to see his thought but still no reason to marry. He should have straight up gone to police with what he thinks he knew about her. Does Amber or Naynay know Crystal? Could they have tipped her off someway of how Misty might not be home that night? One thing that sticks in my head is fact that dogs hit her scent which sounded like went around block then across tracks. Sounds to me like maybe they circled around to see if noticed at all. I don’t think stranger abduction would do that. Plus, fact Ronalds statment about letting someone steal his child. He thought Mistys actions lead to it at that time.
I have read other peoples comments about Crystal and her boyfriend, brother, fiance. I too think a little more investigation into that side is needed.
I asked this before about Cobra bailout girls. I get it for dirt only. They have nothing but stories to tell. Smart thinking for a lawyer trying to get custody for Crystal.

Briana, I’ve heard all the same things you have. I saw his record, but it’s been…let’s see…I guess since the first of March since I saw it. Drug charges (cocaine), violence, abuse, 2 years banned from his own kids. One report says he’s not even divorced yet from his kids’ mom, but that’s not verified. I’ve been very concerned about Kim pressing so hard to place Jr. with Crystal BECAUSE of Chad, for the most part. I’m concerned even for Chloe with him in the house. I think someone needs to ask Kim point-blank in one of her interviews what the deal is with him…hopefully without her having time to pull out one of her rehearsed answers. As much as Ron and Misty are, in my eyes, incapable (or maybe unwilling) to change their lives completely to protect and care for kids, I see the same in Crystal and Chad. How long has it been since she’s been at the Haleighbug center? Came in from Baker County day-before-yesterday with her sister, Sarah, for a day or two…other than that, nothing. Many are complaining that they’ve stopped by multiple times only to find no one there, yet Kim says it’s manned 24/7. Which is it? I was by there about 2 weeks ago, and the only one there was the one that looks like Crystal, only older…the one that sits in the lawn chair with a cuzi in one hand and a pack of smokes in the other. The one that others have said has a lengthy criminal history with lots of theft charges, allegedly lost her job for taking money from a cash register where she worked. I don’t understand how this is helping Haleigh any.

PEOPLE PLEASE!! If you are a normal rational human being then I know you are going to agree with me. Ronald Cummings is not the bad guy here, in no way did he do anything wrong leading up to his daughters abduction. The only reason this guy is getting attacked everywhere he turns is because he does not have a virgina, if haleigh lived with her mother, there would be an out pouring of love and comfort, Ronald is a man who has custody of his children, he didnt get ir once twice but three times, he was working to support his kids, no man works the nightshift for any other reason then to make sure his kids got what they needed and then some, has he made mistakes in the past and got his stupid self arrested, yes he did, but I dare anyone to tell me they dont have family, friends or even themselves into the same situations. Does he like young woman as partners, yes he does, in fact most men like there woman to be young, do i think its in poor taste yes i do but I also remember when I was 17 and how cool it was to have an older boyfriend and one day we will get married and live happily ever after and so on blah blah blah. Will the marriage last? most likely not, but what in gods name is going on in america, this man has had his daughter abducted, can you inagine what he has to think about everyday wondering if his daughter is alive and if so, is some sick piece of crap raping his child, tormenting and hurting her, while she is alone in a dark room all day long, to be left damaged for the rest of her life, look at your own children and wonder what it would do to you. This father needs your support not your rampage on his past by greasy looking characters that go by the name of cobra or some blonde bimbo lawyer who has manipulated a young mother who is no were near as educated, so she can make a name for herself popping up here there and everywhere on tv shows screaming her case for custody. We are talking abour people that have clearly been raised in a lower class, who are not the most educated, were employment is difficult to obtain and like a million other communities like it have a high drug problem, gut hey Ron Cummings was out on the night shift working to put food on the table, gee what a terrible person he must be. As for Misty, that girl has no idea who took that child either, everyone goes on and on about her inconsistancy, when in fact all her comments so far have come back to the same conclusion, she is 17 people, you put a mictophone or a police interrifation in her face all looking for her to say what they want to hear, she is going to get mixed up on the little stuff like, when you got up which way did you stand or what kid was watching what and so on, she is under so much pressure, that she wants desperately to get your approval and so forth. She is a 17 year old that had a child abducted whilst in her care, what a terrible burden to have to live with, how would you cope??? The police have dropped the ball big time on this case, fancy waiting a month to remove the backdoor for forensics, they can keep telling eberyone that Misty is inconsistent to cover there ass, but the reality is they are not doing there job and its wrong. In the mean time please show some compassion and respect, this isn’t a soap opera for us all to enjoy on the news, A MAN HAS LOST HIS CHILD real plain and real simple. Hope non of you go through what this man is going thru…

I bet anything these kids are on disability. Ron keeps quiting his jobs because the more income he earns, the less the kids get on their checks.
Without the exception of Haleigh’s condition, I wonder if Jr. and Jordon’s condition can be linked to drugs. Especially Jordon’s! If he has a brain normality then doesn’t the drugs affect the brain?
I think Jordon is where he needs to be right now. Now if Amber is living under the same roof, then this might be a different story. I don’t feel there should be drugs in the home even if Amber is not the one raising him.
Gayle didn’t really provide any information. She did say that she wants Teresa’s story to be heard and that we will be surprised. What story? She had the chance to tell her story. How much time have they had now to create an entire new set of events? They have had plenty! They read these blogs and this is how they are coming up with their stories.
Did anyone hear the story that Haleigh has been found and they are keeping it sert? Dead or alive, they don’t know. It would be interesting to know if Ronald has asked the police if they had any new information. If not, why? Does he know there isn’t any?

I’ve just heard that Nay Nay is going to rehab. Also was said she is going to have to wait for a bed. I hope she doesn’t have to wait too long. She might change her mind if she has too wait to long. Problem for her is if she does get clean for her to have to come back to the same people will be very hard for her to stay clean. Hopefully, if she does go and her head will get clear she will be able to help in some way with some info for Haleigh. Let’s hope for the best for our lil Haleigh

I read on a blog that talks alot about this case. They mentioned a few things that I have not read you wrote on have pointed out so I am wondering if rumor?
Can you please answer question for me.
Did cadaver hit from dogs came only from dumpster, correct?
I read on other site dogs had hit tub area, water heater area, and dumpster.
I found a clip on Fox where only I see cadaver dog hit dumpster. They explained that other type of dogs were used before these with no hits. Please just give me answer to if you have answer. I am thinking if some of that rumor true. Did the first set of dogs hit on drugs in Rons trailor and that why those things were removed from home? Or was it cadaver?
Do you know long before a body would start to decompose to were a dog would hit scent?
One more thing. You had article about washing machine being on when police got to Ron’s, is that correct?
If that machine was running AND the gradmas also washing clothes, that seems to me like alot of time for cleanup. If you follow Misty on that then impossible because if I start washing blankets at 8pm I can wash about 5 good loads before 3am.
I really hate to put this timeline into direction based of what I do know about this case. Breaks my heart honestly. I don’t want to think any of them had something to do with this case but I would like police to find Haleigh.

I’m from Maine, but lived in Florida in the late 70’s. I worked out of Daytona for a wholesale food service, and once per week I had a delivery route that ran along 17/92 from Deland up to Palatka………..Astor……..Barberville……..Pomona Park……..Cresent City….Satsuma.
I never once encountered any hillbillies or trailer trash or low-lifes, or inbreds.
I do however, have memories of meeting fantastic people at alot of the little fishing camps/resorts that are scattered along the St. Johns River up through there. One in particular that Junior Samples used to go to quite often for bass tourneys lol……had his photo on the wall along with numerous others.
All of the little stores and restaurants that run up through there. A couple of schools. What a beautiful area, with some really nice down to earth people. Anyone who says otherwise, has never been there.
It is so sad that some scumbag/s in your community has taken this little girl. It is just so unbelievable that these things happen. I find it very hard to believe that any body can sleep at night knowing what happened. Some body knows……..how can they not tell.
Lets all hope it gets resolved soon and little Haleigh and all those that love her get justice.

#138 suzy and #158 BROTHERS KEEPER, I can agree with you on the trailer part of the trash. I lived in a trailer years ago. It was a nice trailer park with all decent families. I myself say trailer trash at times and don’t mean it the wayit is said. I look at it where they are living at in the trailer. There are a lot of nice mobile home parks, but I thinkthe reason some call these trailer trashis because it doesn’t really seem there are any decent people in these trailer and therefore, they are called trailer trash beause they all live in trailers.
I don’t like to refer to many people as trash regardless, but I don’t think I have ever in all my life heard of so many trashy people at one time as I have heard about in Satsuma. I can only imagine how these poor kids are being raised and it sheds more light on what of happened to Haleigh.
If the adults want to live their lives as they are then this is fine by me, I could care less, but get these innocent little children out. If Ronald had money then I might say abduction for money, but I can’t imagine any person wanting to abduct a child from this area unless it is to get the kids out of the enviornment. If this is the case, I can’t see them taking Haleigh and not Jr.
This person has to have knowledge of what takes plae in the home. No one broke into the home. It was someone Ronald and Misty both know. Ronald is either dumb or he is so high on meth that he has this much faith in the person that took Haleigh. They are waiting for the opertune time to get Haleigh back without getting caught.
JVM said the police would have noticed cuts on Misty’s arms. The only thing I saw her in during the first few days were long sleeves. So if she didn’t take her long sleeves off then they would not have sen them and they would not have asked her to take it off due o the fact she was not their for abuse on her by Ronald. Also, cuts to one is different than cuts to others. A cut to me is deeper than a scratch, but now a sratch is not as deep. Were they scratches that just barely grazed the skin? or were they actual deep cuts. Scrtches wouldn’t last but a few days and Misty showed them or told them to nay nay Thursday prior to Haleigh’s missing.
No offense to JVM bcause I like her also, but something like this should have maybe been specified a little more because the only thing this did was make nay nay look like a liarand Ronald as always, a good guy.
Sorry Art, I am a deep thinker and like to make sure that because there are two sides to every story, I try and get both sides heard. I do try to keep mu post at a minimum, but sometimes it is hard. I get very upset at the people that want Ronald to look good. I’m sorry, but even if it turns out that he didn’t have participation in this, he still will never look good in my books. He is a controlling freak that thinks his sh**t don’t stink. He has another thing comming.
To everyone else that believes in Ronald and want to think he is an innocent victim. Remember it is Haleigh. It has been almost three months now and things have quieted down a lot and this is unfair to Haleigh. She deserves to be brought home either to go and live with her mom, Jr. and her new sister (I guess it is a sister) or she needs to be brought home and put to rest. Ronald has not cared one iota about finding her. It has been all about protecting himself. He has lied numerous times, he marries his teeny bopper girl friend, and now he is hiding behind a lawyer, which by the way is an exuse. Excuses are like azz holes, we all have them! He don’t have to talk about what he did or what he didn’t do in the past to keep Haleigh alive. I want to know how it is this thing can call himself a man. When the going get tough, the tough get going. In this case the tough is named Ronald.
I did get a laugh tonight. Someone asked what BOLO meant and fealt she might feel stupd for asking. I had wondered the same and it was answered. Good timeing. I watched CSI Miami and Balo was mentioned. I knew what it meant when it was mentioned because of being on here. I just thought at first it was more words people used on blogs. LOL

You are so very wrong about grandmothers in their 60’s and 70’s not being able to handle a baby. My mom is raising her grandson and has been since he was a baby because his parents are both drug addicts. I work in a middle school and there are a lot of very nice well mannered students being raised bye their grandparents. It’s a sad reality but drugs truly is the demise of our country and it well only continue to get far worse. Thank God for our senior citizens who have so much more of life’s wisdom than the rest of our generations composed together.
Bye the way, my mom will be 70 this year and she is doing a great job raising my nephew without any financial aid.

#110 Cherub…LE tore apart that trailer. The tub had casing around it and they opened it up. They looked under the trailer, I am sure. I noticed some skirting down on the same side of the house the door was located that was propped open. Trailers sit up off the ground, usually on bricks so they are accustomed to checking that area.

Grandmothers and great grandmothers are younger these days. If you figure you have a child at 20, your mother had you ato 20, etc. a great grandmother could be 60.
DCF tries to keep a child with the family if at all possible. It is far more harmful for a child to be uprooted from both parents, etc. I do not know Ronald or Crystal personally but from what I have read, I would go with Crystal at this time. If she proves that she can provide for her junior, then there is no reason why she can’t. Chad has nothing to do with it unless he is a convicted child molester and cannot be around children. They have Chloe and I have not heard any complaints that she is not caring for or providing for Chloe.
I base my opinion on the actions of Ronald just since Haleigh has gone missing. He can lose his temper in a heartbeat. He is going around town expecting things free, etc. He left Haleigh in care of his now wife and look what happened. We know know if she was home but several rumors state she was not. Crystal has passed drug tests recently…can Ronald say the same? I for one would be up there taking tests to prove I am not taking drugs and have not been a recent user. I have heard of people who denied drug usage and passed the p test but the hair test, they failed miserably!

Crystal’s own mother called DCF on her once naplesFL, she stated that in court herself. And Chad had a 2 year order of protection against domestic violence with minor children filed on him by his now ex wife. Crystal was charged with filing a false police report, and her Mom was charged with running a drug house. Crystal admitted in court to doing cocaine while pregnant. She stopped apparently, and went into rehab but left after a week. Crystal has not had custody for 3 years and is thousands behind in child support. All of this can be easily verified online with court and police records. If she was the better parent she would have had Junior and Haleigh. Try and be fair and balanced, if you want to toss mud, both sides should be looked at.

I’ve been watching this case from the get go on Nancy Grace and JVM and I have a question. I don’t know if you can answer it or not,but if you can’t, maybe you could forward it on to one of the above mentioned reporters. Since Ron has publicly acknowledged he is 24 or 25 yrs old and Misty is 17 yrs old and publicly admitted “dating/Living with” her 7 months to a year(also publicly admitted), why hasn’t he been arrested for stachatory rape of a minor? In Texas. that would have been the first thing they did. Amazing how that charge could open mouths and make them start talking. My curiosity has finally gotten the better of me, so I just have to ask. Thanks for your time.

My police sources tell me that’s a no brainer, he could of course be charged, but why do something that would be a backwards way of trying to solve the case? That would likely be challenged since Momma gave the green light. and she was 17.

Non-epileptic seizure (SE-zhur), or NES, is a short period of symptoms that change how you move, think, or feel. NES looks like an epileptic seizure (convulsion). With NES, there are no electrical changes in the brain. With epileptic seizures, abnormal changes in the brain are present during the attack. NES is more common in women and usually affects those between 15 to 35 years of age. NES is a serious condition and early diagnosis and treatment are needed to prevent further problems.
What causes a non-epileptic seizure?
There are two types of NES. Physiologic which is caused by conditions that affect blood, oxygen and sugar available to the brain, and psychogenic which is caused by the body’s reaction to severe psychologic (mental) stress.
Physiologic NES
Alcohol:
Drinking alcohol too much and too often. Different people have different ideas about what too much means. How often you drink is as important as how much you drink alcohol. Alcohol is found in beer, wine, liquor, such as vodka and whiskey, or other adult drinks.
Drugs:
Using illegal or street drugs.
Syncopal attacks:
Sudden drops in blood pressure leading to fainting spells.

Psychogenic NES
Mental disorders:
Depression (sadness that you cannot control), mood problems, or hallucinations.
Trauma:
Physical and emotional traumas that may include mild head injury and sexual or physical abuse.
it really depends on what type of seizures she is having to trace the reasoning behind them…but like I stated before coming off drugs or doing too many can cause seizures no matter what the drug may be.

Epilepsy can be an inheritated trait occurring in families. One cause is chemical imbalance or intoxication. These convulsions are terrifying and the person afterwards is very tired and usually will go to sleep for a period afterwards. Crystal has said it runs in her family. Many people have an aura beforehand so that they know to quit what they are doing, lie down so as not to hurt themselves. Meds do help but seizures can still occur – according to my medical dictionary.

Good research on seizures, Briana. Crystal has said she’s never had a seizure before Haleigh went missing. I’d be interested in what her blood tests following these seizures show. Some have said there were, indeed, drugs in her system, while others have said her tests were negative. Since the test results haven’t been made public, it would be difficult to know one way or another for certain (and difficult for those who say they were negative to be doing anything other than guessing). At some point, particularly if she pushes the custody issue, those results will come out.
And Jenna, you’re right in that meds help if there’s a none chemically related reason for them. If it’s chemical related, and those chemicals keep getting introduced, the meds aren’t very affective.
