Haleigh Cummings Case Party Girls Busted Today! BOLO for Haleigh Dad, Ronald, After 911 Call?

In a dramatic new twist in the case of missing Haleigh Cummings, two young women with close ties to the father of the missing five year old, Ronald, and his new bride, Misty Cummings, were arrested and booked Monday morning into the Putnam County Jail on charges of cocaine possession.
Amber Nicole Brooks, 20, of Palatka, Florida, the mother of Cummings’ 20-month old son, Jordan, was arrested by Putnam County sheriffs deputies, booked into jail at 8:04 a.m. and charged with cocaine possession, smuggling “contraband” into a detention facility and failing to appear for another outstanding warrant.
Bond was set at $2,512.00 for the three felony charges, according to the Putnam County Jail log.
Also arrested and booked (at 8:39 a.m.): Kristina Renee Prevatt, 18, aka “Nay Nay,” the party pal of Misty Cummings who in an exclusive upcoming interview at artharris.com describes a wild, three day party of sex, drugs and drinking with Misty the weekend before the 17 year old babysitter reported Haleigh missing on Feb. 10. Misty, who has since married Ronald, is said to be the last person who saw Haleigh.
On Monday, Prevatt was charged with possession of cocaine and trying to smuggle contraband into a detention facility, records show. Her bond was set at $2008.00.
In our interview, she tells me she introduced Misty and Greg Page, aka White Boy Greg, and drove them around for two days. She also says Misty claimed Ronald had physically abused her when she told him she was pregnant, and that lead to her party girl revenge. Nay Nay says she doubts Misty was telling the truth.
She also says Amber Brooks borrowed her car recently, and got it stuck in the mud, reportedly running from a man with a machete. She says Misty still had clothes in her trunk from that lost weekend, but they have since been removed.
Prevatt describes this and more in our exclusive television interview between her and pro bono private investigator and bounty hunter William Staubs, aka “Cobra,” who is expected back in Satsuma late Monday.
As for Amber Brooks, in a recent exclusive interview with The Bald Truth, she tells me she once lived with Ronald and took care of Haleigh and her little brother, Junior, before their son, Jordan, was born, then split with Cummings who she said has paid no child support, and raised their son as a single mother.
With a previous drug arrest on the books, Brooks has been struggling to raise their son, who has been quietly cared for by her grandmother in Palatka, but Jordan’s future may be up in the air after a surprise visit by Ronald Cummings.
Indeed, just before 10 p.m. Sunday night, April 19, according to a local preacher who heard it go out on a police scanner, Brooks’ grandmother called the Putnam County Sheriff to report Cummings outside her house in his purple Nissan Altima, sending Haleigh’s little brother, Junior, to the door to ask for his little brother, Jordan, a disabled child her granddaughter had with Cummings.
When the grandmother refused, my source reports from scanner traffic, a black man who was apparently with Cummings appeared and asked for the child.
That’s when the preacher glued to the scanner tells me he heard the dispatcher explain the grandmother had locked the door and called police, who confirmed the incident, including a BOLO (be on the lookout) for Cummings. A Palatka police cruiser that was dispatched.
“That’s how I understand it went down,” said PCSD Captain Dick Schauland in a phone interview with The Bald Truth.
“That was a rumor– that he was trying to get his hands on the child he’d had with Amber,” James Griffith, assistant chief, Palatka, PD, tells me, but he could find no mention of Cummings sending Junior to the door to bring back his little half brother.
Since the incident was inside the city limits, his department was notified by the sheriff’s dispatcher that Amber Brooks’ grandmother was concerned Ronald and Misty Cummings were driving through the parking lot of her apartment complex in his purple Nissan.
Our officer didn’t do a report because there was no criminal activity,” says Griffith, “but the ex-girlfriend sounded like she didn’t think a lot of Ronald Cummings.”
As for a BOLO, he said the officer did look for Cummings’ car in the complex, but it had apparently left, and never wrote a report. “There was no evidence of any crime or wrongdoing.” As for the black man who knocked at the door, he says Brooks never did say she knew him to be working with Cummings.
But the local preacher who frequently listens to a police scanner insists he heard a dispatcher relay details about Junior coming to the front door for his little brother, and the black man asking for Jordan as well. Griffin said he would ask the sheriff’s dispatcher to check again.
Lt. Johnny Greenwood, also a PCSD spokesman, confirmed the arrests of Prevatt and Brooks. He said both had been cooperative in previous interviews with task force detectives when questioned about Haleigh’s kidnapping, but saw no connection with that case and the arrests.
“I don’t know how investigators may want to talk to them. I know they’ve talked to them already…and they’ve been cooperative the whole time,” Lt. Greenwood tells me. “Usually, charges like that might be used as leverage, but in this case they’ve already been cooperative.”
Cooperative or not, one investigator on the case told me Monday the task force would explore whether the cocaine arrests might be still be used to “squeeze” the women for any undisclosed information that might help move the stalled case forward.
“We’re waiting on that one tip to come in. Somebody knows something,” Lt. Greenwood tells me. “Somebody out there knows what happened. It’s just gonna take them slipping up and telling somebody, or somebody hears something. That’s all it’s going to take, one tip.”
In our exclusive interview with Prevatt, Nay Nay, as everyone calls her, says she picked Misty up after a fight with Ronald mid-week before Haleigh vanished, drove her to meet Page, and off they went on their party girl weekend—and had a surprise encounter with Brooks. Her account dovetails with what Page, or “White Boy Greg” as he’s called on the street, told us in his exclusive sit down.
Both describe Page’s brief romantic hook up with Misty, and her physical altercation with Amber Brooks at a party where witnesses tell me the cat-fighting women had to be physically pulled apart.
While Amber tells me Ronald Cummings rarely saw their son, friends say Brooks remains bitter that Misty moved in with her ex, and may have been angling to take away her son. Investigators theorize a number of dynamics at play, including a Misty who may have been jealous of the women who had previously had children by her main man.
Kim Picazio, lawyer for Crystal Sheffield, tells me Brooks described to her how Cummings would “smack” his son, Junior, causing nose bleeds —a similar account Brooks told me as well — but a police source says Amber also praised Ronald as a fine father who did not abuse the kids in a recent interview with the task force.
“She tells people what she thinks they want to hear,” said a lead investigator in the stalled missing child case.
In an exclusive interview, the task force official who asked that his name not be used, tells me investigators on the Haleigh case would be exploring any conflicts between the bit players in this twisted epic of Jerry Springer proporations, in an attempt to learn more from the two women about Haleigh’s disappearance than previously shared under police questioning.
Sources tell me sheriff’s investigators interviewed Brooks last week after she also met with investigators for Putnam County Department of Family Services who questioned her about Ronald Cummings alleged abuse–charges leveled by Haleigh’s mother, Crystal Sheffield, who is trying to regain custody of their son, Junior.
Through his attorneys, Ronald Cummings has denied any physical abuse towards the children, and maintains he’s the better parent by a longshot.
DFS has previously investigated Cummings and reportedly found his use of physical punishment within the acceptable bounds of parental discipline.

what a fine excuse for a father. he has his son with him while he goes to someones house to see a son he probably has no connection with pays no child support for. sounds to me like he is getting kind of nervous.he hsa lost his job i guess he is going to claim he could he could not work because of haliegh but it didnot stop him from getting married and rideing on the roads all the time where does he get the money from? god bless you haliegh and may you come home soon.

I just read on fox news that there was a $23mill.drug bust in Putnam county. Is this the same one? This really doesn’t surprise me. The whole circus of friends are one of the same. Usually. I have been sober for 24yrs now. And I think the whole truth will come out. Is this the same Handicapped boy Cummings abandoned when he was a infant?

I saw this earlier today, and was surprised to hear about the BOLO for Ronald. Was he intent on kidnapping his son? Sure sounds like it. The girls were arrested the morning after this incident. Wonder if Ronald had anything to do with their arrest. This case gets more bizzare, by the day!

Yeah. Art,looks like you might have something. I really feel that Misty was jealous of Haileigh’s relationship with her dad. If she was jealous about “other women” she would have been jealous of the daughter, also because that relationship is unbreakable except by death. She wanted that kid gone and did it.

I highly doubt that Ron would send his toddler son up to someone’s door and ask if a baby could come out. Who are these people trying to fool??? GMAB! How come I have not seen a picture of Ron’s mugshot in all the other arrests? If he’s trying to kidnap a child that is supposedly his, he would have been arrested.
I just wish people would stop trying to spread their trashy venom and start looking for Haleigh. It’s so sad that the investigation has taken this turn. I feel bad for the local officers of law that have to deal with a whole county full of people that have nothing better to do than sit around chomping chaw and spreading rumors. Your last sentence bothers me..”DPS has found the physical punishment Ron renders to his children acceptable”.. Ron has admitted hitting his children..This is ok with DPS???? I would almost bet the ranch if DPS thinks this is ok, Ronald didn’t stop at merely hitting..Ronald admits to hitting his children, yet denies abuse..This is disgraceful! A child should NEVER be hit, period! What happened to the methods of talking to a child? Hitting does nothing but creates abusive adults..I think they are all abusive in the Cummings household.. I also think DPS should be looked into in that county..I hope LE, and DPS takes a deeper look at the guy…He is hiding a lot, as well as Misty, and her “friends”…I only wish Haleigh was hiding, and safe…Sadly, I don’t think that’s the case..

Who is the black man with Ron?? To all of you that have children, especially the age of junior.. Would you send your child to the door in this situation? Junior may not even remember her much less remember much about Jordan. What was JUNIOR doing up at that time of night? Why wasn’t he home in bed?
Is this how Ronald operates most of the time, giving someone else orders? The grandmother probably didn’t know who this black man was either. Ronald, do your own dirty work. If you really wanted to see your son, you should have contacted them before just showing up or let your attorney handle it.
I am appalled by this latest turn of events. Now, for all of you that think Ronald is the big kahuna, a decent man, etc. bring it on!

As always Art, your on top of things. Thank You for keeping us up to date and informed on the Haleigh case. Keeping her story alive is the only hope we have that someone will come forward with that one tip that will lead investigators to where Haleigh may be. Glad to hear Cobra is coming back as well.
I would like to know what the heck Ron was thinking taking Jr. over to Amber’s mother’s house to ask for Jordan that he doesn’t pay support for or give any emotional support for either from what is rumored. I really wonder what that is all about. I wonder if this has anything to do with Misty wanting to get back at Amber? Could that be the trade off, get Amber’s child and then Misty will tell what happen to Haleigh?
If Amber’s grandmother is caring for the child, what was Ron and the other guy doing there at that time of night? Hope you add the 911 calls/transcripts when released. I would like to hear Ron’s excuse for this allegation.

I am anxiously awaiting Ron’s booking…I hope he is starting to breathe a bit heavier…I think he knows it’s closing in on him, thus no sightings of he, or his family…Not sure what “it” is, but something is at work…I am hoping it’s LE..
How can he live like he does, so self righteous, while those around him are being locked up? Is he really this angelic Mama’s boy who can do no wrong? Or has he pulled the wool over the eyes of investigators? Added to that, his Mother works in the Sheriff’s dept.. All of the “players” in this case is important, but I feel the focus is no longer on finding Haleigh …

Yeah, I would say Ron is a narc! Interesting that some of the “witnesses” of the allegations of child abuse against Ron have since been arrested. Funny thing is though now they are able to be interviewed more exclusivly on the inside and will probably be more willing to speak to investigators for reduced sentences. I also wonder if charges will be dropped like Ron’s was, doubt it though! Bring them in one by one, just like I said someone will talk. It’s coming Ron!!! Also how dumb is the man to show up the night before and want his son??? Maybe the girls were suppose to get busted sooner than Monday morning, guess Ron was a little shocked-and to send Jr. to the door now really how dumb and thoughtless is that and why wasn’t the boy in a nice warm bed at 10pm? I don’t know who the better parent is, but I can tell you right now it is NOT Ronald Cummings. It is so obvious he and Misty are into drugs, maybe Crystal was to at one point in her life but I believe she has cleaned her act up. Someone needs to get Jr. out of there soon. I think it’s to late for little Haliegh but they can still save Jr.

It’s inconceivable to me that Ron could have connected with three drug abusing girlfriends, and had children with two of them, and could have been arrested on drug charges on so many occasions, without himself having been a drug abuser. Seems that Ron isn’t the father he tried to present to the public at all. It’s a shame this had to go well beyond Jerry Springer material with the disappearance of little Haleigh. this story sound interesting, all this people are into drugs. ron misty, nay,nay, amber brooks. ron go’s to amber brook house before 10.00 ask his son to go to the door and ask for his little brother jordan, when granma refuse ron send his friend african american to knock, this is where the problem started to begin with.i guess this is why haleigh is missing today. art harris i guess ron n misty waited for cobra,to leave to get the party rolling started. than they got busted. i read cobra is back, art harris is it true.drugs will make you do strange things. something really bad happen in that house that night.

My thinking is that he may have seen Kim Picazio’s criticism and Amber Brooks’ claims he has not been supporting this disabled son and saw an opportunity to reclaim the boy and attempt spin control…After all, he had a dry run with Crystal, and took their children from her, then won a custody fight. Without a custody ruling, he’s within his legal rights to grab the child and police can’t stop him.
Amber is out of it, and her grandmother is tending the boy. If, say she has achieved some quiet temporary custody, under an official mantle, perhaps of the county child advocates, then this could be up for grabs. But she was wise to lock the door and call the cops…stay tuned.

The more this unfolds the more it looks like Ronald is connected to the big drug bust. I think Misty played a part to uncover all the players for him. If you read the artical on the big drug bust it is stated that 2 people were being held (the girls) for questioning into another recent investigation (Haleighs disapearance?). Ronald tried to pick up Jordan before Amber was charged, so he knew she was being held and probably gonna get charges. I think he was trying to play the super hero part. Tuning back into when Haleigh first disapeared, Ronald hinted at things that would lead you to believe this could be retaliation for something he did. And i really think thats what he wants the world to think. That people from the drug world took his little girl. But honestly, they would have been better off getting rid of him, don’t ya think. His disapearance wouldn’t have gotten this much attention, and they would have been rid of a snitch. And with the amount of drugs involved, there was enough money to pay someone to do it. I’m sure he didn’t hide his little girl to keep her safe,
otherwise why not his son. IMO that little girl got caught in the middle of an altercation, and Mistys keeping quiet because Ronalds manipulated her into thinking he can send her to the big house for her involvement in drugs. On the other hand, it keeps popping into my mind that Ronald likes little girls…… God forbid.

Art, I agree 100% about maybe taking boy for spin contol on kid custody. He seems to be running scared of something. I was thinking also he might have been trying to get the boy for control of Amber’s talking to anyone. If something underground with these people’s drugs, lies, and somehow he thinks Amber might be key to what happened to Haleigh then maybe picking the boy up for control over her same way. Art, if Amber doesn’t have custody of her son, and it doesn’t sound like she does, then she and Ron, by law, would BOTH be required to being paying child support to this grandmother that’s raising her son. I’d say if her grandmother hasn’t pressed the issue, that’s certainly a very good reason why, as they’d go after both Ron and Amber.

In other words, even though we know of the drug problems with most of those on the radar here, it seems that this weekend of fun is critical information. If we take the known suspects out of the equation, what is the possibility that these three girls got in way over their heads and the outcome is Haleigh’s disappearance? It’s a thought. It is my understanding when RC was asked if he had a third child, he answered (in so many words) that he MIGHT have another child…My question is: If there has been no blood tests taken to confirm his fathering this 18 month old child, then how can he be within his legal rights to grab this child away from his grandmother? There has been no custody ruling, correct? Why can’t police stop him? Or am I just “assuming” there have been no test to confirm he’s the father?

Could this be the second time Ron has asked his African American associate to do his bidding? Could this man have performed clean up work for Ron after he over disciplined Haleigh?
If I were LE, I would get an ID on Ron’s African American friend who came to Jordan’s grandma’s door, locate the guy, book him on attempted kidnapping, trespassing, drug possession, whatever, hook him up to a polygraph, and then find out what he was up to the night Haleigh went missing. I would also look at his cell phone pings from that night.
I pray KP is able to get custody of Jr for Crystal quickly.

If you carefully read my story, LE DID confirm the 911 call and the BOLO, Capt. Dick Schauland, PCSD. AFTER I called him to ask. I’m trying to get more info. As far as why other orgs don’t pick up every twist, they have bigger stories of the moment, Sandra Cantu, CA, pirates…it’s the news cycle…everyone will cover this when there is an arrest, or a break in the case. I hope the coverage here will get more information out there to help make a break in the case…

There WAS a 911 call and a BOLO but the BOLO was canceled when it was found to be untrue.
I respect all the investigating, awards and what not. But I just like the REAL story to be told.
Ronald Junior never went up to the door. It would be kind of hard for him to do as none of them were even there that night. Also, Lisa (Amber’s mother) has Jordan right now and did that night also.
Do you know what I would like you to investigate? Why it took Crystal Sheffield 7 hours to get to Satsuma after she confirmed that Haleigh was missing. I would also like to know the background of Chad Griffis and the reason he had an order of protection against him so he could not see his children. I really think that’s important.

They did the same thing in Ohio when my daughter let the bio dad see the kids and he wouldnt return them. I looked up the law, presented it to the police, and sadly, they had no knowlege of the law but went and picked up the kids. Police need to know child laws. I should not have had to prove them to them. I am not a lawyer, so perhaps KP knows some other law in Florida I dont know. But it looks cut and dry to me.

There is no DOUBT in my mind Ron set up Amber somehow, he knew where she was and what drugs she was doing, one of them probably talked to Misty, Misty told her master what Amber was doing, Ron could say he is just so concerned about his child since the mother was just caught doing drugs, hes a whiny baby, he does NOT love those kids, they are just objects and ways to torture their mothers, hes is a total azzhole and I really cant believe he hasn’t been locked up yet.

MIsh: You need to know your laws in Indiana. Here is the custody law in your state so your statement is wrong!
Parents are not and were never married – The mother has sole legal custody of the child (Indiana Code IC 31-14-13-1). The father may seek custody of the child by first establishing paternity and only after establishing paternity he may then ask the court for a child custody order. If there is no court order the father has no legal rights.

Art: I think this is where they failed Chrystal. They told her it was a civil matter when she called police, but in fact, she had custody and he had no rights. Now In Chrytal’s case, he could have been named on the birth certificate, which would perhaps make a difference?

I hope that Haleigh is alive and doing well and we find out just what happened that night. As far as I am concerned, none of these low-lives are proper parents for any of these innocent children! The character of Ron has been portrayed (and I say “protrayed” before someone jumps out with the “judge ye not” scripture)as an abuser of women, children and illegal drugs. Misty Croslin has been protrayed as slut and illegal drug abuser. The “other baby mama”, Amber Brooks as slut and illegal drug abuser, most certainly not a mom to a disbled child! Then, there is Crystal, that doesn’t work to pay her child support and well, I’m not sure that makes her any better than the rest.
I have read the entries and heard “Nay Nays” recantment of the weekend before the disappearance. Honestly, hanging with prostitutes that are doing a bunch of Hispanic laborers for 30-120 bucks a pop, drugging, sexcapades, out all night?! These women are no better than a female cat in heat!! Wait…the cat is better, she looks after her kittens. Just in the entry above, how responsible is a parent to drag out a little child at TEN pm at night. He should be in his bed (PREFERABLY ONE THAT DOESN’T SIT ON THE FLOOR) resting for the next day.
All of these children need to be taken out of this environment and placed where they have a chance to be something better than the trash they are raised in. Children are products of their environment!

Do you have an exact RX for this Child’s disability? Our skulls never do actually Fuse together. Also some children’s soft spots do not close until they are 2 1/2 almost 3 as was the case with my first born but it was not concidered a disability. Just curious as to what the exact Rx is. TIA

This was BEFORE everyone placed their myspaces as PRIVATE……Misty has sent a message to AMber Brooks, stating, ” I got your man now Ill get your kid”. Maybe these arent the exact words, but they are very close. It was so disheartening that it seemed as though Haleigh was just being forgotten. The news media has dropped it, even Nancy Grace. This little girl needs to be found. She is important. She matters. I really hope this little one is still ok. My thoughts on it are not positive one though, as there have not been any sightings, that we know of and so much time has gone by.We can still hope and pray. Has anyone checked out the partying comrads, from gals party revenge week-end,(Mexicans, blacks, anyone)? Someone does know the truth and hopefully their consience will prevail, but I doubt it. I can also say, that RC, should be up on charges and you can bet your booties that drugs and jealously are at the core of this case. MISTY, needs to stop her crap and tell what she knows. She’s lucky it wasn’t my kid, I would go to my grave or prison, she would fess up. We can see by the conflicting statements above, she doesn’t always tell the truth. However, if she plans on dealing with LE to reduce current charges, she must tell the truth and it be verifiable.
I don’t understand why it is so hard to tell the truth in instances where abuse are concerned. Children’s lives are being risked because allegations cannot be verified because someone chose to withhold information, etc.
DCF has been bad for years. Many a child has ended up killed because they don’t follow through, etc. I know DCF probably relies on physical marks and testimony from friends and family. Child abuse does not always happen on a daily basis and physical signs may not always be there.
Ronald did not have any business going over to Amber’s grandmother’s house. He definitely had no business sending a 4yr old to the door or one of his homies. He needs to grow up and let his attorney doing his job.

Art, Appreciate the coverage you have reported thus far in the search for Haleigh. IMO do not believe Haleigh is suddenly lost in thought due to Any information or court battles coming forward.
Everything and everyone connected to the families of Haleigh is Very Important in locating her whereabouts, this is how most cases are handled when dealing with inconsistencies in statements first presented to find the truth of what may have happened or involvement.
Although Art, would like to see retractions to false information that may have been reported on here for your own credibility as you seem to be involved in this case for the right reasons >>> Finding Haleigh.

Hey, Sandy. Who is ‘someone?’ As for no police report, there was not one, the assistant chief of the Palatka PD tells me because there was no evidence of a crime. There seems to be a conflict between what the officers relayed after interviewing the grandmother and Amber, and what my excellent source, a local preacher who is glued to a police scanner says he heard as radio traffic to those on patrol — that Junior came to the door.
I’ve updated my post with the different versions, and still believe the man who heard it go down in real time via police scanner. When I get more clarification, I will post it.
Oh, and the officers did report that the grandmother mentioned a black man coming to her door as well; that’s on dispatch records. Question is the connection between the unidentified man and Ronand and Misty who police were on the lookout for in the parking lot of the grandmother’s apartment complex Sunday. Coincidence?
Obviously your “someone” doesn’t understand how police report or document varying degrees of incidents.

These are federal copyright laws, and like music theft via napster, in place to protect the valuable and original intellectual property created by writers, songwriters, artists and others to make a living by informing and entertaining. The Associated Press does not allow wholesale republishing and are very aggressive in pursuing their copyright infringements, as we will be.
Otherwise, we won’t be able to afford to keep doing this if we can’t have an accurate record of original views, not ripped off ones, which can’t be measured.

Is it a known fact that Ronald is the father of Ambers baby?
I am just sick over all of this and cannot understand how these people who did not even graduate high school could fool local LE and the FBI for as long as they have. Misty seems like Casey A. in that it is lies, lies, and more lies. She has the answer. Ronald has the answer. I hope neither of them have a moment’s peace until Haleigh is found. Ronald is abusive. Misty has lived with that all of her life and will always most likely.
Someone has to push for answers and I am glad that Cobra, Pam, and you are on the side of wanting answers, Art. Good luck and thank you.

1) If Misty and her male friend were busy ‘bouncing’ on the
Ron’s couch the night of Haleigh’s murder (as per Jr.), have the police taken away Ron Cumming’s couch to check for male bodily fluid dna not belonging to Ron or Ron Jr.?
2) Given that Haleigh’s school attendance records a high rate of explained and unexplained absences, has LE checked with Haleigh’s physicians and the local hospital to verify Haleigh really was ill those days vs. hit by Ron?

I can not believe how everyone believes ron cummings. All these women can not be lying. There is no reason for chrystal,amber,nay-nay,chrystal’s mother,greg,and other people to make this up. The 911 phone call and back door propted open with a cinder block sounds and looks like a staged scene. The tent outside (hard to wire a tent). Ron could keep an eye on the ivestigators. The dogs hit on the dumpster. He just happened to drive home from work at the same time misty was looking for Haleigh and why didn’t they look outside. Quick marriage. Police have their number and it’s just a matter of time before misty breaks down. She never did anything to Haleigh. Ron & Misty both know what happened, and it sounds like misty,ron’s mother and grandmother are all covering up for him.

This story is so bizzare. Why on earth would Social Services grant custody to Ron. The allegations are endless and why would Mitzy’s mother ever consent to the over-night marriage. I think Junior should be immediately removed from that unstable,oxycotin,cocaine, pill popping, alcoholic environment. You could tell from looking at Ron & Mitsy on the morning talk show, they were loaded. Even Geraldo Rivera had enough sense to pick up on that when he interviewed him. Has Social Services even had the brain power to at least ask those two to take a drug test. duh!
He will be found out eventually and Chrystal will finally get her son back. Sounds like Florida gives special treatment to men. I know Nancy Grace sure took his part and was down right hateful to Chrystal and her attorney. I think cnn needs to hire people that are not so gullible and easily deceived. Just because a child has been abducted from a home in another case- doesn’t mean it’s true in every case. I feel the 911 call and door propted open with cinder blocks was staged.

Hey Art, when you responded to me you said there was a “scratch” on the side of the truck. Can’t they trace the tire marks or trails where the truck could have been driven to see where it went? I believe that someone took a page from Caylee and left the body somewhere to decompose so that the forensic evidence will be nil. What they do not realize is that there are more and more techniques for collection and the evidence will not be gone. Hope they find her soon.

This is all crazy !! What to heck is wrong with the child protective agency in Florida ??
HOW can they allow Ronald JR to remain in the custody of Ronald? Ronald is a drug user. And even though he made claims that Cryastal did drugs, so has ever female in his life ! Misty does cocaine, pops pills and smokes marijuana.
Ronald associates himself with females much younger then himself,he had a record longer then your arm, he was just never convicted. He SHOULD however be convicted of contributing to the deliquency of minors, statutory rape and countless other charges.
HE had a child with Amber Brooks who he does not acknowledge as being his child because the baby had “disabilities”, but you can bet a dollar to a donut, that now that he doesn’t have a job anymore,that he will certainly try to gain custody of the child now just to get the SSI benefits the child receives. Ronald has gone as far as to go out to HaleighBug and take the money from there !! What a low life excuse for a human being, much less a father !
To take the money that people donate to aid in the search of Haleigh, the daughter her supposedly loves so much !
The only reason Ronald ever gained custody of the children,is because he lied to the courts,knowingly gave a false address for Crystal, so she wouldn’t be in court to fight him in a custody battle. The man(and I use that term loosely) is a sleeze!
He took to wearing his dollar store sunglasses once comments were being made about his “Drug induced blood shot eyes”, Misty should have been wearing some too !!
HE once made a comment on how he didn’t think it was fair that the Caylee Anthony disappearance got more media coverage then they were getting for Haileigh,that was right about the time he began wearing the sunglasses. Is he trying to be Casey Anthony now ?
He has brought more media attention to this case, then there needs to be.
Once the public was made aware of Misty’s age, and had their suspicions of drug use, Ronald hurried, proposed to Misty, and married her a few days later ! Apparently,Misty is pregnant, which means through all of her partying, and drug use, there will most likely be something wrong with this child also. Does Ronald enjoy producing unhealthy children ? And all by his and the females’ faults ?He chooses youner females because he feels as if he has more control over them.It’s been made public knowledge that he hits them and abuses them. What would his reaction be if Misty’s child turns out to be part African American ? We have heard that Misty is pregnant, but not how far along she is and we know she had relations with Greg, (White Boy).
The only reason Ronald married Misty, was to add to the drama of this story and case. Once it’s all over,he’ll just kick her to the curb like he has with the others, and he will find a way to take the child if indeed Misty is pregnant(providing the child is white).Ronald has a background history of violent temper, how the state of Florida can allow any child to be in his custody is totally beyond my understanding. Are they waiting for something else bad to happen to yet another child ?

Misty was threatening to have Jordon taken from Amber. Now the child Misty was watching is gone. Mmmm…could this fight over Ron have really gone that far? Maybe one of Misty’s girls brought her over something to help her sleep & waited outside for the lights to go out….sounds like a possibility that someone set Misty up to get her out of the picture. Maybe Haleigh was sold or traded off.

You are right. We have to remember. No one has been arrested. No one has been charged. Ron and Misty and Crystal, or anyone else implicated in the public mind, is innocent–and that presumption stands until a trial and a convicition.

I have a theory….Does this sound reasonable? The little boy said he heard “squeaky shoes, and couch bouncing”. Seems I recall Misty saying Haleigh wasn’t sleeping well that night. Could it be that Misty may have been having sex with someone, and Haleigh heard, and walked in on them? Then fear she would tell what she had seen…”had” to disappear. Whoever the male was, may haven because of this, taken her. If she feared Ron, I don’t find this theory too far-fetched.

#173…I don’t believe anyone WANTS Ronald to be guilty of this! Who in their right mind would WANT a father to be guilty of the disapperance of their child??? Some people have their OPINONS of who is to blame for this & what a lot of people DO think Ronald is GUILTY of is exposing his children to this horrible lifestyle, he has chose to live! And, also of statutory rape!!! I also don’t think, people have GIVEN UP on Haleigh…we all know, children, after being missing, have come home alive…in this case, sadly to say, I believe we know from statistics, what the inevitable is!! D – It is not just Florida DCF, it is nationwide. Children have been murdered in Michigan, Pennsylvania, etc. after DCF investigated the home and found nothing. DCF is a gov’t agency with divisions in each state.

Hey TRICIA…RC being a “Drug enabler”, I have not heard it said any better than that. It’s nothing new tho, before Meth came to town, it was cocaine (&crack) and heroin and what RC does we used to call a “Pimp”. I personally have been submerged in the truly weird,dangerous,unpredictable and dark world of meth, Thank God I came out alive and have been clean for over 3 years. I was 40 years old when I first did meth.Not looking for kudos here, my point is that I have seen that the person with the DOPE knows how much power he has over the person’s WANTING the dope. Especially these young girls…when they get hooked, they will do ANYTHING to procure the next high, they will do things that would make your stomach pitch and roll. Trust me on this. RC lords over these ignorant junkie girls and all the players KNOW their part, it is unspoken but glaringly obvious how it works. That being said, my hats off to DOC#25, I have thought SO many times that Misty is probably jealous of Haleigh and her close relationship with her father. This is NOT to say that RC was or was not close to his baby girl, but SHE LOVES HER DADDY…thats what little girls do, no matter what and for their whole lives. I believe that Misty was not only jealous (sickening, I know) of Haleigh but probably a little bit resentful, too. My good friend Marie is doing a fine job of trying to keep focus on the fact that HEY…A POOR, INNOCENT 5 YEAR OLD GIRL IS MISSING. It is not my habit to second guess law enforcement, I trust they know what they’re doing. God, I hope so. It would be a crying shame if this case goes unsolved, I don’t see that happening. This is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I see that my post is full of my ramblings and opinions but bottom line, Art, you do a great service and a great job. I hope JVM will have you on a lot more. NG can just bite it.

If Cobra did bail them out then he has just blown any chance Kim had of using testimony in a custody case. I have a feeling there will be no custody case. Crystal is being used. You guys are so out to get Ron Cumming’s it is laughable. Ron Cummings drove in the parking lot? It turns into Junior going to the door and a kidnap attempt? Ron would not need to kidnap the child. Dad wins over granny in a custody dispute. We also can’t believe Nay Nay telling us what Amber has to say. After all Amber could fear loosing her son with good reason.So, Amber could be making this up to make Ron Cumming’s look bad, so she won’t loose her son to him. I’m also neither a Ron or Crystal fan, nor most of all of the other players in Haleigh, Jr., Chloe and even baby Jordan’s lives. I’m a Haleigh fan – pure and simple. And with that, particularly since I’m not associated with either family (or their associates), I tend to process this case more in terms of the actual situation, as well as the confirmed validity of the facts and puzzle pieces we have to go on, rather than the person involved. Just because I don’t choose a side, per se, doesn’t mean I have a strong affinity for any particular person in this tragedy…other than sweet little Haleigh, that is…

My sister had 5 grand-mal seizures, slipped into a seizure induced coma, had brain surgery to remove a previously undiagnosed brain tumor that caused the seemingly out of the blue symptoms mentioned above, and was back at work full-time in less time than that.

Very good, Mr. Morgan! Any chance Kim had of Nay-Nay or Amber actually helping Crystal in her quest just vanished. How would it look to bring in two freshly arrested coke-heads, one of which has an ongoing love/hate relationship with Ron, and both whose bond was just paid by a close friend of Kim (Crystal’s attorney), who then turns around and tries to use them as witnesses? First off, they’re no good as witnesses. Secondly, and 1/2 a$$ed judge or jury will look at this as Kim buying their testimony. Throw in the laughable “Ron uses 4-year-old son and mystery african american intimidator to kidnap 1-year-old alleged son” saga created by Amber’s family, and this is just one big colossal joke of a case that would likely be thrown out on its merit, as well as causing Crystal any credibility she might have gotten from the “sympathy vote.”

If Cobra is smart…which I think he is…he’ll stay real close to the two girls he just bailed out. I think after they loosen up & start to talk, everything will fall into place. Smart move to get them out & make friends. If Ron & Misty just happened to be driving by, it probably wasn’t about Jordon, but more about scaring Amber. IMO. I am strictly on Haleigh’s side and will remain on her side till we bring her home. I hope that at some point, some of the Ron haters will sit back and see that by choosing Crystals side,they have chosen to also listen to rumor and innuendo and that will not help bring Haleigh home. If no one steps up and looks into Crystal and her circle, I feel it is a grave error in judgment and dropping the ball on possibly bringing Haleigh home. We know the grandmother stated this to Nancy Grace.
GRACE: We know for a fact, Miss Neves, that she was at school the day that she went missing.
NEVES: Yes, ma`am, she was. I picked her up from the bus stop.
We know RC stated.
The last time Cummings saw Haleigh was when she got off the school bus Monday and gave him a kiss and a hug, he said.
“She said she’d see me when I got home.”
We know two sets of parents tell me they saw Misty pull up in the blue van, and yell at the children to hurry as they piled in.
So we know at least two of the three statements above are lies.
We know Haleigh Cummings’ Dad “Denies Drug Problem” However,
we’ve all seen his arrest record, with no convictions, and he was found to be in possession of illegal drugs. We know for a fact Misty and her friends are drug users, we know for a fact the mother of his child Jordan is a drug user. And we know logic would make anyone question whether his mother’s association with the local law inforcement has prevented Ron from being convicted.So whether Ron admits it or not there definately has been
Drug Problems in his life…and the lives of those he associates with.
We know nothing regarding Haleigh’s timeline after the bus stop. Do we? And this I think is important, because we are left to assume the timeline given to the police by Misty is true. But is it?

We know Ron usually gets home around 3-4am…So when Misty noticed the light on, and the door open why did she panic…and run to the bedroom to call Ron?
I would think her first thought would have been ‘Oh Ron’s Home’.
We know it has been reported that Misty said she put blankets in the washing machine at 8 p.m. so why did police note the washing machine was running hours later?
We know Misty’s statements are vague, inconsistent. We don’t know what to believe when it comes to Misty.
I have been taught when you tell the truth you don’t have to worry about what to remember.
We know Cadaver dogs at least two, and some report four dogs hit on a dumpster.
What we don’t know is why the police who emptied that dumpster didn’t bring the dogs in to smell the contains, they had removed to ascertain just what it was that got their attention. They may have ruled out a body…but they did not rule out evidence that might have been in that dumpster.
We know Cobra got Jordan’s mother and Nay Nay out of jail. You and I don’t know why…but an educated guess tells me, he is a smart man and he is taking a chance these girls may hear something in their circle of friends that can be a lead in this investigation, its only a chance but he took it.
Well, WatchingThisPlayOut do you have anything constructive you would like to add, because actually the trail of missing Haleigh goes dead with the primary care-givers in this case. And that’s a Cold Hard Fact!
So trashing these girls, and the Haleigh’s mother is your mal-formed opinion, and I am sure you know what they say about opinions.

Briana, it seems to me the only thing you have to offer anyone reading your posts is cold muddy water. The law enforcement investigating this case hasn’t even got pass the backdoor of Ron and Misty’s trailer story, And you are busy implicating Crystal. By Ron’s own admission he is the only to have a key to this bolt locked door. Misty states she was doing laundry at 8p.m. and the backdoor is in laundry room, and it obviously was not open at that time if we are to believe their story. Actually, Briana we do not even know if this scenario is true or staged do we.
In my opinion if we accept and believe their story, then we have to wonder who was in the trailer that could have had access to unlocking that door prior to Haleigh going missing. That would include all visitors in the home after the last time garbage was taken out, or that backdoor being used for whatever purpose and secured. (both Ron and Misty stated they take garbage out using this door, or to vacuum the car.) I say this because the door could have left unlocked, and both Ron and Misty just thought it was locked. Yet someone would have had to have known this. Ron did state he checked the door before going to work if we can believe his story. Now Briana this puts us back to people in the home that night doesn’t it, since it has been reported there was no forced entity.
And Briana if we are to believe all this, then we would have to believe the alleged kidnapper was comfortable enough to turn the kitchen light on, and knew Misty would be a extremely heavy sleeper that night, and knew Haleigh could be taken from a room with a babysitter less then four feet away without screaming on her way out.
So Briana until I can get pass all this I’m not drinking any of Misty’s Kool-Aid, or your cold muddy water.

How ’bout the fact that she had little to NO contact with her kids for months at a time? How ’bout the fact that she’s had her kids in a place not unlike the one she says Ron had her in, with another violent man…a MARRIED man, at that. If people are so confident she hasn’t done anything wrong, and their concern is “strictly for Haleigh,” then why are they so concerned that Crystal and Chad get looked at every bit as closely as Ron and Misty? Nothing to hide? Then why not make sure EVERY stone is overturned instead of just the ones we think might need to be? Jmar, you don’t know any more than the rest of us who is guilty here – just have your theories like the rest of us. Doesn’t mean you’re right or that we’re right. But if it were MY child, I’d want EVERY stone turned, including my own!
Has anyone had a chance to watch Crystal’s interview with TJHart last week? 3 minutes and 17 seconds, and can anyone guess how many times she mentioned Haleigh? Zero. Nado. Zilch. Not once. She did, however, talk about how she’s pissed that everyone’s talking about her on the net, and how “we don’t know her.” She DOES mention that she’s not been at the Haleighbug center for over a month because people said she need to rest. For a month? She DOES mention that she’s yet to have those follow-up tests for her “seizures” she had. Why do you think that is?

I’d have to say no on that one, simply because the one in the video is a BIG dude. Ambers grandmother said the guy at her door was “skinny.” There’d be no mistaking the guy on video as skinny. And the guy at the door could just as easily have been completely unrelated.

I’ll have more on the dumpster…more from the lead investigator with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department who clears up confusion in an exclusive interview with The Bald Truth…that police did check the dumpster immediately, and rechecked it… more on that when I have time.

I have two questions maybe you can answer.
Was Junior awake or asleep when the police arrived at their residence?
If Junior was sleeping through all this confusion with his father hysterical, with police coming in and out,and police talking Misty,and grandma in the home, this might make me somewhat suspicious, that Junior may have been medicated especially since he went to sleep at eight p.m. I would think a child having slept for 6-7 hours would be easily disturbed by all this noise, and up and about.
Also, Art if Junior was awake, I know he is only four, but won’t the police still view him as a possible witness, and at least ask him about seeing anyone?

Kathy, regarding your post 222, who is the “they” that you are referring to. My comment was directed to the people who don’t seem to want Chad and Crystal looked at or commented on. My question is “why not?” If they have nothing to hide, then why should anyone care whether they’re subjected to the same scrutiny everyone else is. If she’s such a great mom, then why did her OWN mom allegedly report her to DCF? Why doesn’t Kim address that? Why doesn’t Kim address Chad’s 2 year order of protection for his own kids? As an attorney, you’d think she’d know that if you sling mud, there’s someone on the other side just as ready to sling it back if there’s mud to be slung. I don’t understand your question, nor do I care who is smarter than me.

2spunky let me clarify my response in #222 (They) would be the investigating officers. My question back to you was how do you know the investigating officers haven’t checked Crystal and Chad out? Quite frankly 2spunky, I don’t really see any of the players in this case as being worthy of a Parent of The Year Award.
And as I stated in #217 “The law enforcement investigating this case hasn’t even got pass the backdoor of Ron and Misty’s trailer STORY” I have to wonder is this story true, or was the backdoor story staged. Because I ask myself why wasn’t the front door used instead? It seems to me it would have been easier and quicker to get into, and out of.
All we have to go on is Misty’s statements, and we know her statements are considered vague, and inconsistent. Why do you think that is so 2spunky?
Whatever happened to Haleigh originated while she was in the care of the primary caregivers in this case. And that’s the only thing we know for sure at this point.

Kathy lundy, I didn’t say LE hadn’t checked Crystal and Chad out. My comment was in reference to those on these threads that don’t think they SHOULD be looked at. And you’re right, none of the players in this case are worthy as parent of the year, or even parents in general if they can’t do any better than they’re doing, and that goes way back up the line. Look at the records of this group on both sides. The question isn’t who in these families have a records, as it would be much quicker to answer “who doesn’t?” And that would be a very short list.
We don’t know what LE knows. They may know by now exactly who did it and what has been done. My gut tells me they have reason to believe Haleigh is still alive, and are being so quiet about it to keep her safe…to keep those who have her from knowing what they know until they can rescue her. That’s my hope anyway, because the alternative is heartbreaking. Every single person in Haleigh’s life from the inner circle out should be looked at and looked at again until she’s found. No one, as LE has said, is above suspicion, and NO ONE has been ruled out, no matter what they seem to want to tell.

However 2spunky honestly speaking I am not as optimistic about the LE actually knowing Haleigh’s whereabouts.
I am probably dead wrong and I hope I am but there are details that just don’t seem to fit.
Of course, I realize we aren’t privy to everything the LE has regarding this case, so it leaves a lot to one’s imagination.
I do not know how often Ron worked double shifts, but it seems to me, and of course, I am only assuming that someone had to know Ron was working a double shift that night. Because if Ron had worked a regular shift he would have been home much sooner and that would have narrowed the window of opportunity for kidnapping Haleigh. It would have made it much more risky don’t you think. Especially since Misty said she turned off the lights and went to bed at ten p.m.
Who could arrange to sneak into a home, with no fear of awaking anyone, steal a child, and then, before leaving, change her clothing?
Someone had to know at least two things. 1. Ron was working a double shift, 2. And Misty was either not at home, or otherwise indisposed.

Hello, The mother gets custody if they are not married but if the mother does not have the baby and is a drug addict, the father can take the baby. It is really simple. Just like Crystal had custody under the same rules and lost it.
Lisa Brook’s had the baby not Lisa Croslin. It is so lame. All this lying. Why would Ron go to Haleigh bug? Everyone knows it is a fraud and about Crystal making a buck.

Rog I am not sure exactly what your point is, but the only reason Crystal does not have her children is because she is poor and lives in poverty. Ron has a drug record longer then your leg, him having a job,tipped the scales of justice in his favor. So I guess that makes him the better parent huh? However in my way of thinking that only proves justice is not only blind, but deaf, and dumb. And Ron leaving two helpless children in the care of a 17 year old drug addict proves my point. A girl that doesn’t actually even know what happened to one of the children in her care. And from what I have read Ron and Misty are the one’s spending other people”s donations, funny you didn’t mention that in your post. Seems to me Ron and Misty have been the life of the party since Haleigh went missing. Most of Ron’s behavior has been inappropriate to say the least for someone who’s daughter has been kidnapped, and may actually be dead. While the same cannot be said of Crystal, FYI, Mr.T.J. Hart stopped by to see Crystal Sheffield he reported this, “Visited with Crystal Sheffield for about 15 mins. She’s NOT looking healthy… tired, run down, skin appeared to have yellowish tint.”
