Ronald Cummings Mom leads Cobra into woods near crime scene

A woman was crying on the phone, when private investigator and bounty hunter William Staubs, aka Cobra, took the call. If she had a lead to check out, she’d better hightail it to the Citgo on Highway 17 to meet him. It was Teresa Neves, Haleigh’s paternal grandmother.
Weeping in her pickup truck, she told the private investigator she’d just spent four hours in the woods wandering near her house where she’d spied what she thought might be suspicious footprints and what looked like an underground pen she feared might be hiding her missing granddaugther.
“Show me what you saw, Mama,” said Staubs, following Haleigh’s grandmother into swampy woods about a mile from her son, Ronald Cummings trailer, where the five year old was reported missing early Feb. 10.
And off we went, as Neves lead the 51 year old bounty hunter and private eye to an empty trailer, where he knocked on a door, and a path where he examined footprints. “That looks like it’s from someone who was working on building this walkway,” he said.
Plunging back into the woods, Neves took off fast, as Cobra and his son, Matthew, tried to keep up. Suddenly, she was gone, and they were in the middle of nowhere and not pleased.
Was he getting played? He’d been speaking with her son Ronald before he obtained a lawyer and stopped talking, and relations with both families appeared solid. As he rode around the county in a black Chevy Tahoe, tinted window lights flashing requests to phone in clues about Haleigh.
Now here he was almost lost in the woods, having then followed up on almost 100 leads; now he says he’s up to over 120. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department counts almost 4,000 leads in the hopper since Haleigh vanisehd six weeks ago.
Suddenly, his cell phone rang. It was Neves, who explained she’d seen a big snake and took off. “I ain’t afraid of snakes, but she didn’t have to leave us like that,” said Cobra, as he began marching towards a road, then ran into a local who said the area had been searched by police several times.
The resident, an ex-Marine, explained the underground “jail” she may have seen were his innocent hog pens.
Another day, another lead.

Was Ms. Neves down in those woods alone??? 4 hours?? I know that if I had seen a 6 foot snake, I wouldn’t have JUST RAN….I would be screaming to the top of my lungs, I didn’t hear a scream!! Hmmm…this just adds to the mayhem! It’s good to know, Cobra is there at a mins. notice to help in the search for Haleigh! God bless you Cobra….And my prayers are still daily for little Haleigh!!!

Sounds like to me that Neves was trying to jerk Cobra around. Okay, she runs off leaving them in the woods then calls to say they saw a big snake. Most people who would have seen a snake would yell to say they have seen a snake then move the other way.
Wow, if this nasty woman did do this to Cobra what a horrible thing to do when her granddaughter is still missing. To play a trick on someone who is trying to find her granddaughter.
Ronald Cummings, Misty and his family are starting to look like some weirdos. Something about the events of Haleigh missing is starting to stink big time and I feel that stink is coming from RCummings and Misty and from the looks of it his whole family is nuts.

It’s getting real obvious Ron and his family are playing with Cobra, not taking this very seriously. Taking him into the woods like that probably means they know thats not where Haleigh is. Mama, i think, will probably always protect her son.
Art: Where does Ron work, is it at a mill or factory. Does it have a boiler room, or incinerator? What is his job decription?
They all seem so cocky and sure of themselves.

This sounds really strange. Why lead you all out there and just take off? Maybe she knows what happened to Haliegh and wanted to let you know and did not want anyone else to see her talking to you, but decided against it. Perhaps you were played or maybe she was sincere ;its hard to say. It sounds also that you guys are getting close so please be careful!!! I do have question. How is Theresa Neves apart of law enforcement? I have read in the blogs that she is.GOD BE WITH YOU AND KEEP YOU SAFE. REMEMBER HER SON IS INVOLVED WITH HIS DAUGHTERS DISAPPEARANCE.

I wouldn’t trust anything Teresa Neves says. She is part of it. No,she was wrong for leaving you there.I watched that prayer vigil. They were spooked!!!She is going to lead you on many goose chases. The tears she sheds are tears of guilt.She is going to get even with you for saying that if it was one one of Cobra’s children he wouldn’t mess around he just would put a pistol down your throat. If you could legally do that,Ron would talk.I would be searching for Haleigh off of Glades Road in Palm Beach County.

Good grief. “Mama” is the only one I had any faith in because she was always crying. I sure don’t know what to think now. By all accounts, it does sound like a setup. If it was a setup, question is why? Ronald has stopped talking since getting an attorney. Maybe this is why Nancy Grace has not followed the story for the last couple of days!
If the area has been searched several times, which we know have been, why was “Mama” walking around there again for the last 4 hours.
False sightings, 75% sure they know who took Haleigh. Remember Caylee case? George said on camera they knew who had Caylee and they were being watched. We are talking about childrens’ lives here and serious…please don’t be playing around and reporting false information.

Has LE thoroughly checked that trailer INSIDE and OUT? That place looks CREEPY, and it was also creepy when Cobra noticed the child swing. She really looked upset.

I believe, with all my heart that Misty knows more than shes telling and Ronald and his mother are covering it up! Misty was probably smoking meth or crack with someone they know who deals the stuff to them and out of that something transpired to Haleighs disappearance.But Misty is definately lying. I believe Drugs played a big role in this case and a hair folical warrant should be obtained for Misty and Ronald to determine if drugs could be traced back to the time of Haleighs disappearance! I believe you can go back as far as 10 years for drugs on a hair folical test and can determine approx the last time they used. We want the truth!!!

Even a greenie like me knows to put on proper clothes and shoes when out searching/hiking/walking in the woods! Especially with snakes and gators about!!

I think Mother Nieves has really lost it. She knows her son is a no good SOB – drug addict/drug trafficker/likes the young girls/abusive. No way in hell is she going to throw her son under the bus. I don’t know if this is the best place to write this but all I can say is I don’t trust Crystal the bio mom of Haleigh or her stepbrother fiance….on the other hand I just went to haleighbug.com and I was a bit sickened…If you don’t trust Crystal don’t donate to her and her family…she states in there the money is for her and her family to stay in the town where haleigh is missing from…If you don’t think it’s going to be spent on the right things then don’t contribute….HERES A THOUGHT MAYBE DONATE TO THE TOWNS SHERRIFS DEPT THAT ARE OUT SEARCHING!!!!IN THIS ECONOMY I’M POSITIVE THEY NEED HELP LOOKING FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL!

All of these people pursing leads on little Haliegh and yet no one seems to realize that Teresa Neves’s work with law enforcement may indeed be the major stumbling block to the whole investigation. Could she be leading “Cobra” and other investigators on a wild goose chase because of her sons involvement, whatever it might be? Why lawyer up? I’d love to hear the pillow talk between Ron and Misty. How can he accept the fact that she may have been with another man? Does Ronald know him?

I have had the unshaking feeling that Haliegh is in a dark brown small bungalow with house numbers 4210. Please look into this. I had kept my intuitions to myself for last two times a child was missing and they died. I cannot in good faith keep this to myself anymore. Please look into this. The man who has her, I get the feeling that he does not want to kill her but he is getting more scared and does not want to be caught. He is a pedofile, check the house pictures against the near by pedos. I do hope I am wrong.

Hi Perry, Ronald works a 12 hour shift at PDM Bridge from 3:00pm to 3:00am as a Crane Operator.
It’s also been mentioned that a coworker has witnessed Ronald’s two kids sleeping in the car while he was working.

I would still like to know if the authorities have pulled the CELL PHONE RECORDS for both Ronald and Misty that night up until 3am.
When I refer to the authorities I do not mean the local police because Ronald’s mom works for them, but the FBI.
Also, the Greg guy that is now being talked about is ONLY MEANT to SERVE as a DISTRACTION! Ronald is saying that he has always known Misty was screwing him behind his back? Come on now, you know damn well he would not be so light hearted about it. In fact, he wouldn’t even marry Misty! And if he caught them that morning, she would be DEAD!
Ronald and Misty are guilty! The focus needs to be on the timeline of their whereabouts. That’s why the cell phone records are VITALLY IMPORTANT. Just because he claims to have a SOLID ALIBI, it doesn’t mean he was at work the entire time. He could have easily clocked in and taken off. Did he go home for lunch? The cell phone records will identify both of their locations!!!

It would appear that the children were put to bed and Misty found her a party or that old friend dropped by and told her to leave with him, kids were asleep and both left the house but later returned. Haleigh had to of work up and walked in on the action going on in the living room. Misty knew that Haleigh would tell her daddy about the man on the couch with Misty and what he was doing to her. Misty took that childs life and the friend helped her hid the body. The little brother knew who the man was that was in the living room with misty. Haliegh would not have been killed at the trailer home as it would have woke up her brother. Misty must have got the little boy back asleep. It wasn’t him she was worried about. It was haliegh walking in on something she was not suppose to see. Haleigh left with the man visiting Misty in his car from the mobile home. Ron knows the friend of Misty’s. I think Ron and Misty’s body language speaks for itself.
This is just speculation but I would have to say, Misty and the male visitor killed that little girl and hid the body.

Art, we only have Misty and Ron’s word that Misty was the last one to see Haleigh.
We know she went to school that day and Ron picked her up. He says he picked her up around 3:30 P.M. It is just not adding up. Ron, supposedely, took Haleigh home and then went to work. What are his shift hours? Ending a shift at 3:00 A.M. just seems strange, but then, he came home at 3 AM so what time did his shift actually end? I can understand how the police are having trouble establishing a time line.
Nancy Grace and HLN, (Headline News), seem to be the only ones that are really keeping us informed on what is going on with this case! Even Geraldo had trouble getting any information when he interviewed Ron. Nancy and Geraldo are BOTH tough investigators. I think Geraldo stirred up a whole new field of thought or perspective when he confronted Ron.
Skeletons seem to be rolling out of a lot of closets, and they are definitely NOT nice bones to chew on. It will be no surprise if Ron kicks Misty out. Marry in haste, regret in leisure.

Art: Consider this senerio.. What if Misty was getting on with this Greg guy and Haleigh walked in on them. Not wanting Ron to find out, she had him take Haleigh (seems no one can find this allusive guy, he might have her.. perhaps stashed somewhere, since Ron is keeping his enemy close by marrying her and after all she said, she wanted to keep Ron’s kids away from Chrystal and she got her man. Maybe she slept with this Greg guy to do her bidding. She can’t keep her story straight anyway. Maybe she didn’t hurt her Haleigh but what’s to say maybe this Greg guy might have). I pray that she is still alive for Chrystal’s sake and JR’s and I pray that she is close and alive as well!!!! Go Cobra Go!! This is just a thought and I wonder if anyone has checked with physic’s?

Cobra and Art after reviewing the first part of the video…she was telling the truth…look at the neck.
When someone so distort…or upset…the neck tends to tighten up and sometimes viens pop up…unless you are wide neck. She appeared telling you the truth…you cant fake that part of your body language.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL, IF MRS. NEVES TRULY HAD SINCERE CONCERNS THEN HER FIRST PHONE CALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN TO PCSO TO COME AND INVESTIGATE THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF HER FEARS. ALSO I HAVE READ NUMEROUS TIMES THAT MRS. NEVES IS OR WAS EMPLOYED WITH THE POLICE SO WHY NOT CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REPORT WHAT POSITION MRS. NEVES HELD WITH THE LOCAL POLICE AND HOW LONG SHE WAS EMPLOYED WITH THEM? COBRA YOU ARE RIGHT IT SURE APPEARS THAT YOU WAS SIT-UP….BUT WHY? Art, this was said by Ronald in one of the first few interviews he gave shortly after Haleigh was reported missing. He was talking to reporters concerning the reports that he gave police, etc. I watched this on the Nancy Grace show, (and possibly Jane Valez Mitchell’s show).
I wondered why he picked her up instead of letting her ride the bus home, and if anyone saw him pick her up? The school’s in our area are very strict about these things.
A child that rides the bus to school, has to be signed out by the person picking that child up. (Identification must be shown.) Otherwise, that child rides the bus home.
Misty made the comment that she would drive Haleigh to school sometimes when she didn’t want to ride the bus. This was said in one of the last interviews Misty gave before they hushed her up. This aired within the last two or three days on HLN.
Another “food for thought” concerned the dumpster that the four Cadaver dogs hit on. The dogs were not around when the detectives were sifting through the trash that was taken out of the dumpster. They reported that nothing was found in the dumpster that pertained to Haleigh. I wondered why they did not put the dogs IN the dumpster to allow them to sniff for scent. Too, it would have made more sense if they had the dogs there when they were sifting through all the trash. If Haleigh had been placed in that location and later removed, her scent might have been on some of the bags that the detectives were sorting through.
Sometimes I think this case has more twists and turns then the Caylee Anthony case…

I really don’t believe that Misty killed Haleigh just over her being caught with Greg. In fact I have a hard time believing this story at all. First because it is something being reported by the bio mother. She has been caught in lies in the recent days. Second, what would be the motive? Fear?? She had already been with this man before and Ron had found out. She didnt appear to have fear at that time. I do think she had went out that night..left the children. But my suspicions are on the bio mother and her family. Just my opinion.

I have a feeling this poor baby is in the heavens now, and this Misty had something to do with it some how or another. Maybe she was stoned so much she really does not know what happened but I think whom ever she was with that night took this baby and done away with her. I also feel dad and Misty are drug attacks and thats why they got married so they dont have to testify against one another. They have something on each other I am sure. But now it is time to take that area as well as that underground hog pen and trailer be checked out to see if there is anything that belonged to that child. Art, I will try and find the information. I know when the story first came out, Ronald did say he picked up Haleigh and his mother corrected him and said, no she did that day.
Did anyone ever find out if the rumor was true about Ronald possibly being an informer? It made me remember that as I look at past stories and how Geraldo got kicked out rather quickly, especially after questioning the drug usage, etc.
There is a registered sex offender by the name of Donald Sapp in the zip code area of 32189. He is one of the 44 offenders who recently moved to Satsuma at the end of January 2009. The 2009 Tax Role shows the owners of a the property at 116 Tyler Street, Satsuma is Lindsay Kate Croslin and Guy Sapp. This property was recently purchased. Donald Sapp was born 1970 so he could be Guy Sapp’s son. Guy Sapp graduated 1948 and is old enough to the Donald Sapp’s father. The FDLE Florida Sex Offender site shows Donald Sapp as recently registered in Satuma at an address on 2nd Avenue, which is approximately 3,000 to 4,000 feet almost directly south of where Haleigh lives. It appears as if one can walk through the woods from one location to the other.(snipped) Why haven’t we heard anything on this guy being investigated? This whole town must be related somehow!

I remember right after the disappearance of Haleigh that both Misty & Ron said he came home that night at 2:30.

Ronald Cummings, to me, acts like the typical abusive drug addict. Seems to be vindictive and a liar. I have a feeling that he lied and did whatever he could to smear the birth mother (she sure isn’t any angel) in the past to obtain custody and now to make her look as bad as possible and gain media favor for himself.
What a shame that two children are put in the middle of all of this and one of them is probably dead because of it. Junior should be put in foster care for his own safety and well-being.

Art…on the video that you have interviewing Misty, where it sounds rehearsed, she states that she takes Haleigh to the bus stop. With Florida’s strict laws regarding teenage driver’s licenses, I doubt that Misty has a drivers’ license. I still have a suspicion that MISTY drove that van that night. BTW, has anyone seen this? In #35 to Perry Princess Mononoke clears up one of my questions from yesterday, thank you. In her #36, agreed that those cell records are VITAL.
Unless the foreman is an absolute stickler, hardworking crews often ’stretch’ lunch and supper breaks, but we don’t even need that here. We don’t need a stranger, a lover or a drug deal gone bad.
Cummings is classic ‘me first’ personality, he’s a very BAD actor and Croslyn a very BAD liar. Her idea of ‘caring’ for children wouldn’t be what most of would consider good parenting.
Stay with me for just a second here…According to Croslyn’s mom there are two TV’s on in the house, Haleigh’s in the bedroom, Misty and Junior in the living room.
Maybe she doesn’t hear the child trip in a messy bedroom, choke on a candy, anything. Junior is now asleep.
Her first call is to Cummings, whose first concern is HIMSELF. He doesn’t want investigators poking into his lifestyle looking at a fatal home accident, giving Sheffield the best possible reason to obtain custody of the remaing child.
So over the phone he decides they’ll stage something that will garner enormous sympathy–an abduction.
You can hear the staging in the call, and in the transcripts. Yikes, she even says to him, “I don’t wanna..”
Don’t wanna what?? Be making this call, telling this story?
So he’s forced to marry her; it’s what she desperately wants and a reward for sticking with him and the story.
Back to the FBI, it began as an abduction, they may have an adviser there or maybe the evidence is being processed by one of their labs. Or any of the Sheriff’s people or local police could have attended seminars at Quantico, many forces do.
P.S to Art. If so he would have been late for work, but Sheffield’s lawyer seems pretty confident of her ‘timeline to 8:30.” Perhaps she’d be willing to go through it with you,lol.

Can anyone tell me what an underground hog pen is for? I have never heard of these before. IMO, if I were the grandma and I saw an underground pen, with my grandchild missing, I would have had the same reaction. Crying, calling someone for help. Had I seen a snake I would have been outta there faster than grandma was. Put yourself in Teresas position. Your granddaughter is missing. You are out physically looking for her or evidence of her. You come across an underground “jail”. You call Cobra. He goes in the wooded area with you. You see a large snake which you are deathly afraid of. You run in fear. When you get to safety you call Cobra to let him know what happened. He gets off the phone and all of a sudden he is set up. Set up for what? Was Teresa going to pull his hair? Poke him in the eyes? Maybe she was going to knee him in the nuts. All on video at that. Teresa called Cobra for help because she felt she found something new. Something that freaked her out. (An underground jail would have freaked me out too.) Because she saw a snake and ran she set Cobra up? Some of you need to wake up and think with your own brains instead of treating every word that Cobra says as Gods word. In Arts article “Exclusive: Cobra Inside Haleigh Prayer Vigil” read comment #18. Art replied to Mikes comment. Cobra alerted Picazio that Crystal might need a lawyer. Are the Sheffields and Cobra somehow connected? This needs looked into.
Also, in the initial police reports, it states that two officers with a canine, tracked Haleigh to the railroad crossing. The caninne was unable to follow it any further. Along the way the officers saw what appeared to be a small childs footprint in the dirt. From firstcoastnews.com on Friday Feb. 13th 8:31 p.m. – Friday afternoon, a call came in about two men seen walking along the railroad in southern Putnam County with a little girl who matched Haleigh’s description. Then information came in that said the two men got into a pickup truck. Police, deputies, and investigators set up a perimeter in the Whispering Pines area, and tracked down two different trucks that matched the description. But there was no Haleigh. Investigators say it was a dead-end lead, but it was one they had to check out.
Why didn’t they give the description of the truck? There has to be more than two trucks with the same description. Doesn’t mean the truck was still in the area.

How did Ron pick Haleigh up from school at 3:30 p.m. if he starts his 12 hr shift 16 miles away at 3:00p.m. You would think he gets an hour for lunch then, probably mid way through his shift. 9 ish. I’m sure he had time to go home during this time. Misty says he got home at 3:00 a.m. how did he get home so fast. And if princess (#38) is right, he could have had haleigh in his car that night, planning to dispose of her, after his lunch break and people would have thought she was just sleeping.

I think the door to the green trailer in the woods was left open to more or less ‘invite’ Cobra to walk on in and look around! THEN, he could have been shot by some sicko claiming he was just trying to protect his home from invasion!
In the beginning I thought Teresa Neves was the voice of reason in this whole sordid mess of Haleigh just seemming to disappear into thin air. Then she suddenly changed colors and became much too defensive of her 25 year old son who is stuck on minors. Now she has just has no credibility at all.
Ronald and Misty know what happened to Haleigh. And mark my words; Ronald the PUNK and MISTY the child bride are just not smart enough to keep law enforcement and the FBI at bay for very long!

Art, the real BLOCKBUSTER would be if you and Cobra could somehow get the cell phone records from Misty and Ronald approximately 30 days before Haleigh disappeared and even in the days following.
What would Ronald’s cell phone records show as to how often Ronald would call Misty while at work and how many times did he call her that night? How many times had Misty called Ronald?
I believe the cell phone records and pings would be the major thing in this case if there is any way to obtain them!

Law enforcement had allready checked that wooded area. You don’t go chasing around rough terrain in sandals with the danger of snakes! This family has lost all perspective in this case. Law enforcement put the pressure on red neck irresponsible Dad and lying bride,girl friend. May be water boarding might work!! Seriously, I am glad this case is being kept alive. I have seldom seen a time that Neves has not been “weeping” in front of the cameras. Neves claims she is lost in the woods for “four hours” and sees “suspicious footprints” and an “underground pen/jail” that she feared was “hiding her granddaughter”? This doesn’t make sense. As fast as that woman was walking she would have traveled about 15 miles in four hours time. She manages to call Cobra, find her way out and then take him back to the area that she claims she was previously lost. Entering the woods again, she is no longer lost and swiftly finds her way back to the road because she claims to have seen a snake. With all
that “weeping” that Neves is capable of, you would think that her discovering a big bad snake would have caused her to upgrade her “weeping” to at least a “sobbing scream”. Neves should have paid closer attention to Misty (while walking with Ron) and clung to the hip of the man with the gun (Cobra). Since Neves was so distraught and upset, why not call LE and why leave the area where you believe precious Haleigh is being held captive? She should have been clawing at the “underground pen/jail” to save her granddaughter while calling in to 911. By the way, what are “suspicious footprints”? How does one tell the difference between a “suspicious footprint” and any other footprint? JMO

What was Neves doing in this area from the start and what was it that spooked her so bad that she went to cobra instead of the police. My opinion is for one, it was a setup or she knows more than what she is leading on. What if Haleigh was in there and she knew it or because the police are heading in the right direction and she needed a distraction.
I felt sorry for her in the beginning, but her not finding Misty and Ron’s story is odd. I would be asking a whole lot of questions, but she is ignoring what people are saying about Misty’s timeline.
I saw the video and it very well could have been a setup. I wonder if cobra had went in all of the way, if there would have been someone try and kill him. Neves was looking back and walking away from this place. I do not believe she saw a snake. Most know that when you see a snake, you don’t want to run because this is when they are more likely to attack. They have poor vision and it is their heat senses when they know to attack, but if it is not moving, then they just slither around.

To the Cobra, after watching this video for a long while I can’t help but notice this look on Neves face was devious. It almost appeared as though she was looking around for someone she knew was already there. Why would she seperate herself from you so quickly and with no scream. If the story about the Locked and Loaded Marine is true, it’s not a stretch to think Neves was setting you up for some target practice. Watch your Back Cobra, I doubt these people can be trusted. I hope you find out what happened to Haleigh because I seriously doubt LE has the balls to do what they need to do to get to the truth. Just my opinion.

I called in a tip a month ago about Haleigh being tied up in a closet in a small junkie trailer and later moved to a hole in the ground with a cover and she was still tied up.I have called back after watching this video and begged them to go search this area. There should be a red coat in the closet. They need to take dogs out there because he probaly got scared when grandmother walked up and probaly moved her. I hope and pray that they pay attention to the call I made.

Oh, Picazio did increase her timeline on Fox 35, to 10:30 pm. No wonder it seemed odd for Cummings to dismiss Junior’s comments so quickly on the Today Show. He had details Meredith wasn’t privy to, squeaking shoes and bouncing couch.
If there’s a grain of truth in what he told Cobra–that he knew–that lends credence to Pcazio’s scenerio, the trailer’s been a sex and drugs free for all.
As for Teresa Neves, maybe her goal was to get that spooky, derilect trailer on video and out to the public. It’s not something she do could effectively herself. Cummings lawered up and clammed up, so Momma wants to show us somewhere a bad guy could’ve hidden.
Perhaps Cobra’s right and a badly erected house of cards will come tumbling down in a week or so.
Neves told us her son was emotionally devestaed and unable to eat. Days later he marries someone he won’t even defend in public, never says she’s a good care-giver, never says he loves her and can’t get through this without her.

Ron picked up Haleigh at 3-3:30 from the bus stop,But if you watch a video i think its on youtube Teresa Neves says she picked up Haleigh.This family can’t even get their stories right.They need to get together and figure out the lies they are going to tell.
Ron left for work at 4:00pm and got home from work at 3:30am.I read that Ron was an HOUR late for work and left early from work to hang out at Taco bell with some friends.The bosse’s left early that nignt and so did Ron and some other people and went to Taco Bell.If this is true Ron should have went home and not have went to Taco Bell maybe then Haleigh wouldn’t have gotten kidanpped.

I live in the same county as precious Haleigh and unfortunately we do not get any updates or information from the County’s finest in regards to her disappearance.
Your site seems bias with the blogs I have read and it is appreciated for what you are doing.
I have read where the sherrifs dept has put a halt on any organized volunteers from the Haleigh Bug center from conducting any ground searches, their reasoning was as I read it ” The woods are dangerous and a lot of illegal activities take place in the woods also if any volunteers happen upon any evidence they may contaminate the crime scene” A representative from the center has called numerous times asking for a search team from the Sherrifs dept but has been denied.
I would think that the Sherrifs dept would place an officer at the center that could better instruct any volunteers that want to give their time in finding this precious child. Just my opinion
God Bless Precious Angel Haleigh Cummings and all families and may God guide who ever has any knowledge of Haleigh’s disappearance to come forward to put some closure to this tragedy and pray she is still alive and well.

Art, this video is a staged vignette and well scripted. I think Cobra and Neves did it to attract media attention back to Haleigh. You can see a motor home and some houses/mobile homes very close by. The object of their attention, the blue camper, is in almost full sunlight so it is not in the woods, and the underbrush is very sparse as well. The door to the camper is wide open and yet Cobra does not even stick his head inside to see if the child is there. And we know that Cobra does not need a search warrent to enter…he told us so.
It would be very unnatural to not warn another person of a snake. (they did not plan that part very well)
And they never show or follow up on the “underground jail/pig pen” Neves saw.
I don’t blame either one of them, they just want to find Haleigh and will do most anything to reach that goal, including fabricating this video.

I would like to form an organization with persons that have, use or the knowledge of using metal detectors and handheld GPS devices to help locate missing children.
I have noticed jewelry on Haleigh and it is possible that by doing a search with metal deectors a trail could be established or the worst scenerio the possible area where the body is. Once a suspicious area is located then red flags would be placed and authorities contacted.
I will frequently check back for any interested individuals, if there is a great interest I will set up a website where we can discuss and form this group, and if you think it is or is not a reasonable venture then I would encourage any and all opinions.

Art, Ron said that on Nancy Grace. Teresa N. also said that but her transcripts are incorrect. The transcripts says “I (Teresa) picked her up” but if you watch the clip on youtube, she says Ron picked her up. I think it was about 3:45. His shift starts at 4:30.
I don’t remember the date he said this on CNN but I’ll find it for you if you need it. It was one of his first interviews with her.

The the trip to the wooded area with Ron’s mother has really got me concerned about what these people might be capable of. Not only spookie, but it could really have been a deadly trip.
This is all just my perspective of this…WHAT IF this had been a set up at the trailer home that Cobra was knocking on. Someone could have easily come out and killed him. Can anyone tell me had Cobra been shot and killed, would he have been considered trespassing? Not sure but I bet Ron’s mother would know the answer.
Her leaving so quickly, seeing a 6 foot snake???? that would clear her of acutally seeing what really happened, should she be questioned. (If something had happened). I understand Cobra’s son was with him, but of course what ever he might have witnessed would be his word against someone else. I hope I am making sence. Could this have turned out to be an aborted mission only because there was a camera running? Anything that might was suppose to happen, didn’t because of the camera?
There are a lot of things concerning this family and criminal activities, that a regular citizen would not get away with! Do they beleive they are untouchable.

Nice analysis, but I shot the video and it was not staged. He was at the local Citgo in Satsuma, filling up. That’s when he go the call from Ronald’s mother., who said she had something to tell him, needed his help. Several minutes later, she pulls in, weeping. I hung back to let them speak privately, then moved closer with my camera, a Sony, HD 1080i. She told him what she had seen and he offered to follow her to the area…she plunged into the woods, with Cobra, his son, Matthew, and my camera in tow. She was wearing flipflops, which was strange considering there was no path. It was thick with palmetto, black mud and brown recluse spiders all over. I didn’t see snakes but she says she did. She was much faster than the rest of us. Since there was no cut path, Cobra tried to follow her as he was looking around, and poof, she was gone. Then the phone call you see.
as for the pens and underground “jail,” we didn’t see one, but ran into a local resident who said those were his hog pens and had already been checked out by police who had searched the area about a mile from Ron and Misty’s old trailer several times.

If you look at most of the videos of TN, she is crying. I think she is quite rehearsed at doing that, especially since no one else that is with her is crying like she does or even crying for that matter. Yes, she is the grandmother and sitting right beside her son, Haleigh’s father, and he is not even visibly upset. This is really from one extreme to the other. During the tape, she does not have eye contact with Cobra.
For the tape being staged….come on! How can you say that? What would be the purpose? If you want to stage something to bring the focus back to Haleigh, why not call in numerous sightings?

Nancy Grace does not understand abuse. Has it ever crossed Nancy teased hair_ brain as to Why? Ronald likes very,very young girls? and did she ever consider that HALIEGHS MOM is afraid of him? and has never pursued him until a big lawyer came to town & offered her help? I’m sure that Haliegh’s mom never had the resources or education to go after a bully like Ronald.
I grew up in a very abusive home. Sadly some kids do not escape and become victims. Before NG sides with Ronald Cummings & basically calls Haliegh’s mom a loser & a skank. I suggest NG gets edumacated on abuse & the abuser. Add+ drugs into the mix & it gets even more dysfunctional. My mom still cowers to my dad’s abuse. I was the one to finally move,far away.
Please understand, that I am not a NG hater but I do not always agree with her.

Art, I think you should check out the fact the dogs tracked Haleigh to the railroad tracks and then stopped. Also, Friday, Feb. 13th, there was a reported sighting of two men with a child matching Haleighs description walking the tracks in southern Putnam County and getting into a pickup truck.
Another thing to think about is the hog pens. Are there live hogs in there? Hogs will eat humans. Here is a link to a discovery channel forum about hogs eating humans.

No search, just a small bbq at the Haleighbug center in Satsuma for volunteers and well-wishers. Sheriff’s department reportedly asked organizers to call off any search , warning about risks of someone getting hurt. Unclear if concerned might be injuries in woods thick with those cottonmouths, brown recluses, or sharp stumps, or if someone might get a bullet for stumbling onto a crack house or meth lab in some trailer.

Sources also tell me weeks ago police searched the wooded area where Cobra was tromping around with Haleigh’s grandmother, used tracking dogs that stopped at the water’s edge of a nearby lake, where divers a;sp searched and found nothing. Same lake Ronald and Cobra visited together when the father was talking (I was shooting that day) — this time about a favorite fishing hole he said he’d visited with a relative who has been interviewed by police and once remarked what a great place it would be to get rid of a body. Gators galore. At least that was Ronald’s story.

Art, I am having the same [or similar] problems viewing the video. All I see is a big blank square with a small square containing a red X in it. Same thing on the story immediately preceding it.
I have my browser set to delete all temp files and cookies every time I close it, but I don’t know if that is working.

After reading the information on Cobra, I think he can find things out. You guys just be careful! Doesn’t sounding like a place I would want to live and raise children.
I don’t know what to believe with Nancy Grace anymore. She has been “gentle” with Ronald and yet harsh with Crystal. Crystal’s attorney is very smart and has been told information by several people. She volunteered her services. When Nancy questioned her about White Boy Greg, the attorney told NG it has not been verified but that is what she had been told. Is it because she has no understanding of why a mother does not have custody.
I believe Crystal when she says she was afraid of Ronald. We all make mistakes and she deserves a second chance. Crystal is getting married again and more stable. In light of what is coming out about Ronald, I think DCF needs to take a 2nd look. When grandma Sykes said that they all believed in “old school” disipline, that confirmed my suspicions. DCF has made a lot of major mistakes and not just in Florida. I have read stories where they investigated and the child ended up being murdered. It really makes me sick. Do they honestly think the child is going to tell them (if old enough) because of fear of being left in the situation or being put back in it.

Maybe this is why he married her,before he got charged being with a minor. Do you think Misty called Ron instead of calling 911 to make sure all drugs were disposed of inside the trailer before police came? So many questions…I could go on all night with this one.

Art.I contacted putnam county sherriffs office today and was told that there will not be anymore searches for Haleigh .i asked -What about from others,anybody? and I was told no. As it stands right now no. Any other information I would need to call crimestoppers as all else was confidential.(this conversation was recorded).
I was wondering if you might know why no more searches are being done or none being allowed to be done at this time? Where is Cobra? Do you have a number where I can reach him that is a public listing?TIA. Does this no more searches mean a cold case or does it mean the lids about to blow? I can think of several reasons why there might not be anymore searches being planned,but I’d rather not speculate the issue. If you can clue us in it would be greatly appreciated. I hope Cobra is not gone for good.

Underground hog pen? This is swampland, Florida at it’s finest. Any pit of any size would fill in with water without adequate drainage. If there are no drainage pipes in the bottom of the “underground hog pens” they will definitely fill in with water. I call foul! Some hog farmer really needs to explain why he would ever have an underground hog pen in swampland. There are too many things wrong with this scenario.

Gators galore. What a prince of a guy Cummings is. So police receive the call at 3:27 and the officer first on scene reports he’s told Misty ‘got up for a drink’ at 3:00 and Ronald arrived home 5 minutes later. That would leave 22 minutes before they call 911.
Ronald gives no info as he’s too distraught to speak, but not too distraught to call his future bride names.
And Momma Neves is a dispatcher for the Alachua County Sheriff but we’re expected to believe Cummings doesn’t know operators wear headsets and dispatch from their keyboards.
What a croc, pun intended.
At one point it was reported that there were 17 Feebs on this case as well as Florida LE and other Sheriff offices.
I know there are no media briefings but is the Putnam County S.O. still a big hub of activity or does it look as if the other officers have trickled away home? This poor little girl!

Hi all -and Art, too!
Watching the video of Gramma Neves & Cobra, then reading through the wide variety of comments, I still can’t help but come back to a gut feeling that Neves is quite simply beside herself, distraught beyond anyone’s imagination, and desperately searching for ANYTHING, ANYTHING AT ALL that will lead her to answers regarding her beloved grandchild. She has not been sleeping well (if at all), is inundated with media about her son’s frightening and reckless lifestyle (are all of YOUR parents COMPLETELY aware of ALL of your activities?!? Most probably not…), and is conceivably finding herself less than lucid & out of sorts. As what seems to be the most responsible adult in this highly dysfunctional family, I can truly imagine that she must feel like she is losing her mind at times lately. (Have you ever not been able to find your keys –or something equally as important– and you’re running late for work or a very important appointment, and you feel like you are losing your mind because you are turning everything inside out, searching the same places over and over, frantically thinking “I have finally lost my mind”, and your heart & thoughts are racing, and you just want to sit down & cry, and when you finally locate them it feels like it has been waaay more than 2 minutes and you need to catch your breath and get re-centered? I would imagine what Neves is feeling is that x 1000. Just trying to put myself in her shoes.) She is probably feeling fearless in wanting to find Haleigh, yet afraid at the same time. She probably drives around everywhere she can think of & gets out of her truck for impromptu searches whenever she sees or hears about or even has a gut feeling about something. I know that’s what I would be doing. So she had flip flops on –she had a hunch & went after it. I would get up & go out with my pajamas on & a jacket thrown over them if something came to me in the middle of the night… wouldn’t you? She was fearless enough to go out & explore (perhaps she even had a tip of some sort) – but when face to face with something, perhaps too afraid of approaching it alone. Thus why she called for help. Maybe??? Doesn’t explain why she didn’t call police, though. . . unless she feels like they are not doing a good enough job . . . or she is just reaching for ANYBODY. Sheer desperation.
All just thoughts and ideas.
I do agree that Neves probably has been an enabler to Ron his entire life, and surely has some ideas as to what a ‘less than stellar’ citizen/ human being he has turned out to be. She has probably had to cover for him/ bail him out of many situations. But IMO, casting her as a co-conspirator in any of this, or painting her motives as devious or even murderous seems like quite a stretch. JMO . . .

Thanks Art! I have to agree with the majority that something is really off about TN’s behavior. I have not trusted Misty since the very beginning. Reading everyone’s perspective it has opened my eyes to some more possibilities. It’s so hard to hear the days that pass by and still no word. Lately, I have grown very irritated with Nancy Grace and her judging Crystal for trying to gain custody of her children. Now is the perfect time, while Jr is still around. I see nothing wrong with her timing. Ronald marrying Misty was total wrong timing! And it didn’t take Misty long to start referring to Haleigh in the past tense in her interviews. “it’s what Haleigh ‘would have wanted’” referring to their marriage. The dynamics of their family sickens me!

Four hours in the woods and her white pants are clean. If she was suspicious of something, why call Cobra? Why not call LE? As Art Harris stated, the family has not been cooperative since Ron hired an attorney.
It seems to me that Teresa Neves was trying to lead Cobra TO something. She want HIM to find something out there and did not want to be around when he found it. It’s possible she found something suspicious, and did not want to be the one to report to LE…not want to upset Ron? Then, once she got there and saw that Art Harris was filming, she didn’t want to be filmed showing Art Harris what she found. It’s possible that when she realized Harris was filming, she did NOT take Cobra where she originally intended, and made up something to “cover.” She earlier said she “thought” she could lead him back in the woods, but then it appeared she knew where she was going. So, did she take him to the RV just to have something to show him, rather than who him what really upset her?
I’m thinking had it not been filmed, she might have showed Cobra someplace different. This makes more sense to me since it is obvious she lead Cobra on a “wild goose chase.” The flip-flops are a ‘give-away.” Maybe she didn’t go that far into the woods with sandels on, but she had to go deep into the woods to cover what she really saw.
Seems to me there was something she needed to check out in those woods, and she found something. IMO, it wasn’t the RV she showed Cobra. I believe that whatever confidential things Ronald told Cobra, he also told his mother, Teresa. Ronald seems the type to tell ‘Mommy’ everything. This could be why she was in the area looking.
As per Putnam County detectives, Ron’s alibi checks out. Ron does seem overly confident with that assertion. It does send up red flags, but we won’t know about his alibi unless LE reveals more. At times, his smirks and comments make me think he knows something or has some involvement, but LE can’t prove it.
It’s possible he is using this ‘White boy Greg’ as a diversion. Given Ron’s seemingly flare of a temper, I can’t imagine him agreeing to Misty screwing around with someone else, UNLESS it’s for his benefit. You guys fill in the blanks on that one. I think he married Misty to appease her. She knows too much about his activities. She wanted to marry him and he wasn’t about to do that until now. Marrying her is a sure way to keep her quiet.
I do think Misty was not at home during the night Haleigh disappeared. As far as Haleigh waking and walking in on something…I am reluctant to believe that. At this time, I am inclined to believe Haleigh was smacked by “someone” and she hit her head. Later in the night, she slipped into a coma. Misty freaked. Could be that Ronald smacked her before he went to work, and that is why he is smirking about not being home when she disappeared. He was at work and Misty took care of Haleigh “disappearing.” Could be, Misty used the van to move the body. She could’ve had help. Junior could’ve seen someone picking Haleigh up to move her out to the van. Then the “kidnapping” was staged. Why LE didn’t find any evidence in the van is something I can’t explain. Misty did say her blanket was in the van. She also said that Haleigh “wet” her blanket and it had to be washed. Could it be that Haleigh soiled her blanket when she died? Misty washed away the evidence?
Post # 46 Dorothy Ivy has a good theory which is close to what I think possibly happened. The choking on candy is a very possible scenerio. Ron definitley does not want anyone looking into his activities. To cast suspicion onto Misty having an affair with someone while he is gone is a great way to redirect the focus to someone coming into the home.
Teresa Neves does not work for Putnam County Sheriff’s office. She works as a dispatcher for Alachua County SO, but I think they’ve been involved in the investigation and searches. Her working for a sheriff’s department would provide her with all kinds of information from around the county. If living in the county has not educated her to underground hog pens, then most certainly, working for the sheriff’s department would. Her son is fond of mudding, and I am certain that Ron knows what an underground hog pen is. People dig holes to catch wild hogs. Having lived in Florida for a brief time, I can honestly say that is one of the first few things I learned of, along with cougars and wood spiders. Wild pigs are common in the Florida woods. People make a sport of hunting, capturing, and caging them. I would think Cobra would be familiar with underground hog cages. Maybe he’s not seen one. I’ve not seen one, but read of them.

This is true, especially if they smell blood, body secretions, etc., and I am speaking of domestic hogs. Wild hogs will attack anything and anyone. More thoughts…
Ron is not supposed to be in contact with Cobra. It’s possible that Ron was in the woods searching and found something suspicious and/or his mother was with him, which doesn’t appear that way since her clothes are so clean. Since Ron cannot contact Cobra, he gets his mother to meet Cobra and take him to the woods. But, the camera puts Teresa on the spot since the family is not supposed to have contact with Cobra or media. She then comes up with taking him to another place in the woods.

At 1:48/1:49 on the tape you can still see Teresa up ahead of you all. The it appears the tape was stopped or edited and resumed around 1:54 or so. Can you tell us what was on that missing area? Was the taping stopped for some reason? For how long? Thanks!
While I do not live in Florida, I do live in a rural southern town. Our police force is so corrupt it is not even funny. In a neighboring county the newly elected officials fired ALL OF THE POLICE FORCE because of of the history of corruption. I am glad someone like this Cobra is there to investigate certain things that may not get investigated elsewise. Guess he is use to corrupt officials from what I have been reading about him. We need more “watchdogs” like this in our world today! Please be careful!

Somethings up with Diane. She might be on to something…she is REALLY worried about this little girl being held…a red coat…I want to check that site grandma took you to myself!! Not that I can, mind you…but if it were my daughter, you wouldn’t stop me. I’d be running on caffine and nerves, not eating, not sleeping, I’d still be crying, pounding on doors asking for everyone AND their brother..begging retired detectives, begging for credit to private investigators, I’d be screaming at the top of my lungs to find my daughter.
And last, another member at another site believes Grandma freaked out and decided not to take you where she really wanted to go in the video in the woods. Once she realized it was being filmed, she froze. The whole thing is creepy…why didn’t she call law enforcement? THIS ABSOLUTELY MAKES SENSE, that she froze. I think Cobra can crack this. It’s going to take someone rough and tough to deal with this family. I seriously can’t believe they can’t get any more information out of a seventeen year old babysitter/girlfriend/new bride/new mother. Are you kidding me?

This really isnt rocket science, underneath all the misleading lies and stumbling blocks to throw focus. Ronald is playing Staubs just like he played Nancy Grace – calling her Miss Nancy, etc., trying to come off like a cooperative little church boy. People don’t realize that the members of this family are back-stabbing people who try to make fools of their enemies by pretending to cooperate, but turning the tables and making a fool out of you. So far, they have done a good job doing that with NG and Staubs. The only one they haven’t been able to do that to is Geraldo.

Angie, post 25…..obviously, you didn’t grow up in rural Florida….Heck we go barefooted everywhere. I grew up there and never wore shoes except to school and church. Played in the woods, camped, hunted, fished….never wore shoes and yes saw a lot of gators and snakes, picked alot of sandspurs out of my feet. I’ve read and read these pages and pages of posts, on this site, and all the others, and can tell you one thing for certain…it’s not helping ANYONE for the same 5 or 6 posters to get on here and repeat the same tired bs over and over and over in defense of one or the other of the players here. Besides the fact that neither Ron,nor Crystal deserve to have ANY children in their care, how ’bout asking some of the hard questions here? Has anyone here ever been around someone who’s been on a 3 day binge? I have, and I can tell you that when my little brother (and we’re from an upper class family in the suburbs) came home from one and finally laid his head down, Godzilla himself could have walked through his place, and he’d never have lifted his head. Do I think Misty’s telling the truth? No way. Do I think Ron’s “father of the year?” Hardly. Do I see Crystal a victim of battered woman’s syndrome? Well, since she couldn’t give ANY instances of said abuse, other than to say he smacked her in the back of the head once when she was pregnant, I seriously doubt it. Every single one of the 3 have (quite sadly) turned this tragedy into their own personal gain. Who actively seeks donations to help them “live in a town where their child disappeared?” Wouldn’t it have made more sense to live here while Haleigh was HERE??? Same to Ron…how can you look yourself in the mirror after seeking donations, when you won’t get off your a$$ and go to work, while also spending $400 on tattoos (for God’s sake) and engagement rings? Is there something keeping you from being able to WORK for that $? How ’bout you, Crystal? Misty? All 3 of you get in front of a camera, chain smoking one right after another, talking about how it’s all about Haleigh, when honestly, nothing the 3 of you are doing is helping Haleigh in any way – rather, it’s detracting from what’s truly important (and NEWSFLASH – it’s NOT YOU)!! If you can’t bear the thought of not being here for Haleigh, then you shouldn’t have jetted off to NY – I don’t care if President Obama himself invited you. I’ve read the school report, and it CLEARLY backs up the injuries Haleigh sustained…pure and simple. And she was taken to the ER the DAY THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED, AND AGAIN A WEEK LATER. Prevost, if drugs were “forced” on Crystal, then why does her MySpace page have picture after picture after picture of her getting drunk (and bragging about it), talking about how high she is, and being photographed with drug posters all over the walls? She’s partying in 85% of them. Take the blinders off. Neither one of them are saints, and at this point, neither should have custody of children. Period. If you’re trying to prove what a great mom you are, take down the drug photos, and set up your site showing you’re a dedicated mom to your MISSING CHILD.

A Gainesville, Fla. woman tells me she paid Casey $1,000 to look into the case, and he’s been reported in the area, at first with, believe it or not, George Anthony. Other than that, unclear what he’s been doing, except hoping to take a statement from any witnesses that would hold up in court. Kim Picazio tells me he told her he had a court reporter ready to go.
“What are you going to do, send a court reporter into a crack house, and expect people to cooperate all nice and polite,” she scoffed.
Here’s where it gets really weird. The woman who hired Casey claims to be a distant relative of the husband of Crystal’s mother, only they have no idea who she’s related to; for weeks, the woman has been calling Crystal, her mother, Marie, as Picazio tells it, to share rumors and information and pump them for the latest.
KP says this woman, who blogs on websleuths, began mis-reporting information KP says she thought she was giving her in confidence as a member of her client’s family, only to see it distorted by a blogger who goes by the name, Ann.
For whatever reason, Picazio says the woman was trashing Cobra to local police, and spinning to get him either arrested or kicked to the curb. Picazio says she asked the Putnam County Sheriff’s department about the woman; and they’d been getting tips from her for a while, they said, but no longer considered her credible and weren’t taking her calls anymore.
Marie and Crystal were getting sick of her calls, too. Picazio laid down the law: stop calling and harrassing my clients, or or we’ll file a restraining order.
Only that didn’t stop her, says Picazio, who was hit with what she calls a flurry of e mails from the woman, begging not be be cut off. Then a woman claiming to be the woman’s girlfriend chides Picazio for spurning such a dedicated volunteer who spent lots of time and money to help find Haleigh. Copies of the exchanges have been obtained by artharris.com.
When Picazio refused to change her mind, she says the woman then threatened to report her to the Florida bar if she cut off the access she’d enjoyed, claimed she had tape recordings that would prove Crystal’s volunteers and Picazio’s staff were destroying evidence and worse. She wanted to come show her the tapes, then she’d destroy them, said the woman, according to Picazio.
“I don’t believe anyone on my team would break the law like you’re describing,” she realled saying. “It sounded like extortion to me.”
What the heck, said Picazio, who made a RDVU for breakfast Saturday morning,aiming to ask the woman kindly to stop the harrassing before she ruined her own life. The woman agreed to meet, says Piczaio, then didn’t show. Crystal’s lawyer has reported the encounters to the sheriff’s department and if she does show up, Crystals’ next stop could be before a judge to get a TRO.
When she didn’t show up, Picazio walked to her car and got a call from, you betcha, Dominick Casey. Go figure.

I’m often a one man band, which most people know. Have been shooting much of my own video from my time embedded with the Marines during the Iraq invasion, on the campaign planes with Sarah Pain for ET and in Florida following Cobra around for a few days. The way it came out was the way it happened, 30-45 min tromping around, of course, cut way down. Alot of work goes into shooting and editing, and no one has band width to let it run on and on…Of course it was cut, including Cobra and his son, yelling for Teresa, when she was nowhere to be found, worried she may have been lost. That’s when his phone rings…ran because she saw a big snake…the whole episode was, in retrospect, strange to say the least.
I’m still not sure how to interpret it, but what you saw was how Cobra saw it…and how I shot it.

After reading and viewing the video with Cobra, and the grandmother, I got a terrible feeling about this scenerio. The woods, the six foot snake story,and the location about a mile from Ron’s house. Kind of sounds like the Casey Anthony debacle doesn’t it. And, Art it leaves me wondering about the the hogpins…hogs eat anything right? I know the area has been checked at least three times, but what about the hogpins?

Misty tells the officer when he arrived on the scene that she noticed Haleigh was missing JUST BEFORE 3am. In the impromptu interview with Art Harris, Misty tells Art that after she realized Haleigh was missing she grabbed her cell phone and CALLED RONALD on his cell phone. However, Misty DID NOT call 911 until AFTER Ronald got home from work which was around 3:20am.

Regarding the time Ronald left work… that is really fuzzing! I can’t find the comment where one of your readers posted that Ronald left work an HOUR EARLY and went to Taco Bell with his boss and co-workers???
Does anybody know if this is in fact TRUE?
If so, can anybody or has anybody gone to every Taco Bell in the area of PDM Bridge, 229 Comfort Rd, Palatka, FL to confirm this lead? This is Ronald place of employment. He supposedly works 3pm to 3am, a 12 hour shift as a Crane Operator.

If I tried to list every single thing I know, think, heard or suspect it would take me hours and wouldn’t amount to much more than more unnecessary confusion. There are so many conflicting stories within my family, police, media, etc.
To try to answer some of the zillion questions on here and in private messages….
Yes, I am a close relative. I don’t want to say which side because 1) it seems irrelevant 2) I’m afraid of Ron and 3) It won’t help find Haleigh.
The fight I am talking about is an incident that happened the weekend before Haleigh went missing. Supposedly, Ronnie robbed some drug dealers at gunpoint for drugs and drug money. It wasn’t reported for obvious reasons but the police have had numerous consistent reports from people (including myself) who know it happened and/or were there. The police believe it happened but the problem is that no one will tell WHO it was he robbed. People who know and were there will talk to everyone else but as soon as police start questioning them, they clam up. Witnesses told police they heard the people he robbed threaten retaliation. Police need to know WHO he robbed.
I asked about the boat because police know that Misty was hanging out a lot with the guy Dan S. He has a boat and there was a report of a boat traveling at high speeds the night of Haleigh’s disappearance. Dan S. ex wife has told the family (I have talked to her extensively) horror stories about his propensity for little girls and what he has done in the past. She alleges that he has paid off drug debts in exchange for children he uses/sells and has connections to the sex trade industry in the Philippines. She could be lying or crazy, but that’s what she says. I felt it was worth looking into. Police told me they don’t know anything for sure but that he is not cleared as a suspect.
Detectives have told me that they believe Misty and Ronnie are not telling the truth or at least not the whole truth. As far as polygraphs, people can “pass” them if ) they believe their own lie or 2) they are habitual liars. Nobody has been cleared.
And last but least, I believe an arrest will be made soon.

Many of you have already posted with “Anna FL” one of our new members.
Anna FL posted on the “Marc Klaas” thread. We have pulled that thread only to clean it up and to put Anna’s posts and your posts (the ones that were off the topic of the Klaas thread) in a new thread.
Anna FL is someone who is a relative in the family. We have spoken many times on the phone.
She has assured me any information she posts on WS she has already turned over the the police.
I will be helping Anna with the rules on WS. Since we do run a tight ship I need to make sure we stick with facts and opinions.
Anna does have a lot of inside information. However, much of it can’t be confirmed beyond her telling us. It is going to be hard to make sure we stay within TOS and at the same time provide you with information that may help you in your discussion of the case.
I have no reason to believe she is lying. I have every reason to believe she is who she says she is. However, since I haven’t run a background check there is always that door open….
The conversations we have had are very emotional. Anna FL is a caring person who is very frustrated by the fact that Haleigh has yet to be found.

Picazio says they may have had the “ring” of truth because they believed a Gainesville woman who claimed to be family, then told her things in confidence which she was apparently misreporting without permission as an anonymous blogger, AnnaFla. Finally, Picazio gave her some misinformation to see if her theory was true, and, voila, posted by you know who.

The grandma, along with Ron and Misty are all in on this scam. If Granny was in the woods for four hours, why would she get spooked five minutes into it with others? I have said on the first night that Misty was not at home that night. Ron married the kid to protect himself from Stagetory rape charges. Misty now has her story straight thanks to many rehearsals.
If I may go on record, Misty is going to brake soon, late next week. Ron has been arrested many times before and will be soon again. This is all a smoke screen to take our minds off os Haleigh. Look into a bar, strip bar close to home where Misty danced before. Her drug habit is why Haleigh is missing.

What has me still lost is this. When the story first broke, Misty said Haleigh was in bed at 8pm and she was in the livingroom watching movies until she went to bed at 11pm. Now the story is: Haleigh was in bed by 8pm <<this has not changed) and Misty now says she was washing the bed sheets and Haleigh’s blanket, then she went to bed. Why did it go from watching movies to washing clothes. Watching and Washing are two different stories. Soooooooo, which is it Misty? Where is the blanket now? With Haleigh or inside the trailer? What did it look like? Shouldn’t we be looking for that also? To lead us to Haleigh??? Also: Before they said that Grandma Neves brought clean clothes to trailer that same night, now they are saying GREAT GRANDMMA brought over clean clothes that night. Who brought the clean clothes over? And did they see Haleigh? What time? What was Haleigh doing? Art please ask these questions to someone~ Thanks!

Also, watched Nancy G tonight. She talked very little of Haleigh. She did get very rude with Kim p for trying to explain why Crystal had Jr. on tv. I think this might have been because Ronald has been telling people Crystal mae it up and she wanted to prove it live. My question is though, why would Ronald say he made it up? Does this say he knows who it was?
Nancy would usually put people like Ron down, but I gotta ask what did he say to her that made her defend him as she does. I don’t know of too many people that don’t believe he had anything to do with it.
I had to get my foot stitched last night and me and the Doc. was talking. Even he said that he felt Ron and Misty did it. What is it goig to take to put these two where they belong?

Neves states in an interview that there are always so many clothes in the hallway you can not walk by? Someone would have to be very clever to jump with a child in their arms over clothes and not drag any out the back door..the back door that could only remain open by a pile of clothes..while the screen was held with a brick.if I was washing clothes and the dryer made the house hot I would open the back door for some air..I agree with post #137..her theory is much like mine…Jr hears chime, the car key of the van being turned on, or an opening of a car door makes a chime noise….Misty is suddenly referring in past tense..I believe Ron is an abuser, and perhaps has even abused his mother..This is a sad story and I wish I felt this little was safe..but my heart says she is gone and it does not think someone took her..I believe there was an accident of anger that sent her flying..Bless this child. As i said, they trusted her because she claimed to be a distant relative of crystal’s mother’s husband, bruce, by marriage. and she put up $1,000 to retain a debunked PI in the anthony case to chase leads…no one bothered to check into her true family ties until Picazio put it together the woman who claimed to be related was also blogging under a pseudonym, annalfa. then the misreporting began…she actually fueled rumors to police who at first bought it, and wasted man hours checking a few out…now they wont take her calls and she’s been threatened with a TRO if she further tries to contact the real family who have no idea who she’s related to.

It’s pretty obvious to me we really don’t know the whole story. First of all we are assuming Haleigh went missing as stated by Misty and Ron. But did she?
I know I can’t be the only one that has wondered why on earth did the grandmother find it necessary to bring the children’s clothes she stated she had washed to Ron and Misty’s trailer the night Haleigh went missing. After all we know Ron has a washer and dryer in his trailer. And, actually Misty reported she was doing laundry (to be more exact bed linen) that very night. I find it interesting in as much as Cindy Anthony also laundered evidence. I know the grandmother said she saw Misty. But she didn’t mention seeing either child to my knowledge.
It makes me wonder if Ron asked his mother to check up on Misty, or if he used his mother to alibi Misty.
Another thing that leaves me wondering is the fact two cadiver dogs hit on the garbage bin. Two cadiver dogs were wrong?…I think not. Something that belonged to a decomposing body was in that bin. When I watched as the police emptied the bin,I did not see either cadiver dog there to sniff through the garbage they removed from the bin. As I stated earlier I believe something that belonged to a decomposing body was in that bin.

Naples Florida, I agree with you about NG being hard on Haliegh’s mother. Again! I do not think NG understands abuse at all. Nine times out of ten the mother is more afraid of the abuser than the children who do not even understand what’s happening. (Thank God! ) if anything the mom/wife or GF is more terrorized and then you add+ drugs into the mix.
I am not a NG hater but I do not always agree with her. I think she was/is too easy on the A’s too. In my opinion they are guilty of obstruction & tampering with evidence & NG feels sorry for them?! There are times that I just have to shut NG off. Sue Moss is the real deal-

I wonder who she really is and why she lied so much. i’ll google her name and start sleuthing from there. No, she is not still posting. She has been banned from WS after she started reporting outrageous “info” the other day and now i realize that kim was baiting her to see if she was the leak or whatever.

I agree with you prevost regarding NG…when ppl call in and say how great she is…she often disagrees with them…and I agree with Nancy when she admits that. It would be rather bold of a caretaker to assume these children would remain asleep while she was out and about partying. Knowing full well either of which could awaken in her absence. And then what? Not to much to worry about if the caregiver used some medication to knock them out. Only to have ended up over-dosing one of them… in this case Haleigh. Medication seems to be “babysitter of choice” for some young mothers these days

I pray that someone does get Jr from that home. Ronald made a bad move marrying Misty when she obviously negelected his children. If she was home, she was so far under due to drugs that she heard nothing. Personally, I feel she was just sneaking home prior to Ronald returning from work. She is a pretty pathetic and has no business being around the children as she is such a child herself.
I hope that Crystal does get custody of Jr asap. Ronald definately knows that his lil wife uses heavy duty drugs. The one I feel the worse for is Ronalds mother and grandmother and both the children.

Neves leading Cobra into the woods was a set up..I believe Hayleigh is in the woods in a shallow grave, possibly burned, but at least a mile from the spot Neves took Cobra, on the wild goose chase…I was raised on a farm, and saw many snakes growing up…Dad showed me the difference between the poisonous and non-poisonous..I was never afraid, but now if I see one I will scream to the top of my lungs..It’s strange to me Neves didn’t scream, if nothing else, to get Cobra’s attention to kill it..Even more so since she was wearing flip-flops… NEVER have I seen, or heard of an underground hog pen…Neves is covering for her son, plain and simple! IMO

Art, fill these people in on what was said. You were doing the interview. Ron said he picked Haleigh up at the bus stop . she ran to him and jumped in his arms and told him she loved him. Just like she did the night before. He took her home and he went to work.
It was also said that Misty called him at work when she found haleigh missing. He came home.
Something is going on in this case. I believe Misty had something to do in her missing. She needs to be put behind bars for a while she’ll come clean one way or the other. And no bounty hunter going on her bail.
Since the Casey Anthony case been a lot of children go mising and killings going on. Is it they want to be a star like Casey is. Get on T.V. So Nancy Grace can and all the other shows keep it going.

Vic Chi–go reread the story…Ron’s account has Haleigh riding home with him her last day after school. From parents I’ve interviewed — and police have talked with — who were at the bus stop, he never picked her up that day, nor did his mother.

Since Misty/Ron were apparently drug users, has anyone considered the fact that Haleigh could have gotten into their drug stash and OD’d? Little ones always want to copy what they see their parents doing. Of course they would have to get rid of her less they be charged with her death. And Theresa Neves if much like George Anthony, not wanting to believe that her own child could possibly have anything to do with little Haleigh’s death.

I get a real bad feeling when I read the story about Granny Neves and the hog pens and how upset she was. I have an idea that she might have an idea that Haleigh some how got into those pens …….either was put in there or wondered into there …..what a perfect way to get rid of a body…could have been put in the dumpster than moved before the dogs tracked her to the dumpster…I sure hope they find an answer …This case really upsets me …I know if I had a son like Ron …I would be worried …Just from all his actions and the stories I’ve read…I think his fast temper could lead him to do bad things.
