Exclusive: Cobra Inside Haleigh Prayer Vigil

SATSUMA, Fla.–The Bald Truth has learned law enforcement experts are comparing statements given by Ronald and Misty Cummings, quizzing locals who know them and developing time lines to crack the mystery of Haleigh Cummings, who vanished six weeks ago from under the nose of the 17 year old babysitter who has since married the missing five year old’s father.
“We’re still looking at inconsistencies,” a top law enforcement source told me, as the task force of federal, state and local police try to figure who’s telling the truth in their search for what they hope will be a little girl who’s still alive.
The high profile missing child case fell into the lap of Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy, who climbed the ranks from patrol deputy to top local cop supervising detectives sifting for clues.
One source familiar with the case told me investigators have quizzed Misty and Ronald several times, including one 14 hour marathon sitdown Misty’s mother, Lisa Croslin, grew concerned about, and reminded her daughter she could leave whenever she felt like it. “But Misty and Ronald say they’ve treated them real nice,” she tells me in an exclusive sit down.
In another exclusive interview, Misty Cummings told me she didn’t need a lawyer because “lawyers are only for guilty people…I have nothing to hide.”
Last week, her husband, Ronald, hired the Palatka law firm of Kimball and Snider to represent him pro bono in his efforts to cooperate with the sheriff, deal with the media and fight efforts to reverse custody of his son.
He denies knowing what happened, but conceded on The Nancy Grace Show that police were still trying to confirm Misty’s location the night Haleigh vanished. Still, Ronald says publically he believes her account, that Misty was home alone at their trailer when she woke up at 3:30 a.m. to notice a light on in the kitchen, the back door propped open by a cinder block and the five year old gone.
Only, that’s not what Ronald told bounty hunter and private investigator William E. Staubs, aka, “Cobra,’ who has been pursuing leads pro bono ever since arriving from Ft. Lauderdale two weeks ago to cruise Highway 17 in his black, $100,000 Chevy Tahoe tricked out with high tech gear like heat-seeking radar, long range cameras and night vision equipment. A real life “Dog,” Cobra counts 8,000 fugitives, 199 child molesters and one terrorist among his captures. Haleigh’s father, Ronald Cummings, has hired the firm of Kimball and Snider of Palatka to represent him on a pro bono basis.
The lawyers said they would assist Cummings with three things — continuing cooperation with the sheriff’s office, attention from the news media and any matters relating to his daughter’s biological mother, Crystal Sheffield
As the only journalist Cobra has allowed to tag along, I was with the gravel-voiced, 250 pound self-styled “Hillbilly” when he first met Ronald Cummings outside a Satsuma convenience store. Haleigh’s father said he appreciated Cobra’s efforts to find his daughter, believed him “sincere.” They hugged and arm-wrestled, spoke several times over the course of the week. Ronald invited us to the intimate family prayer vigil for Haleigh, the only outsiders, and let my camera inside. Our exclusive video is posted here.
“I don’t think he knows where the young uns at,” Cobra told me, “but he pretty much knows what happened.” Misty is the key.
“He …pretty much told me straight up, the only reason I married her” was to find Haleigh, that he believes she knows what happened. “He said, ‘I’ll divorce her tomorrow when I find my kid…You know the saying, ‘Keep your friends close, your enemies closer.’ In a nutshell, he married this girl to keep her close.”
Cobra says Ronald confided he knew Misty was seeing another man before they married, and possibly partying the night Haleigh vanished. Sources close to the case tell me investigators have quizzed a light-skinned African American known as “White Boy Greg,” the purported paramour who passed a polygraph regarding Haleigh’s disappearance.
“Ronald said, ‘I know she’s f—ing him,” but so what. I still love her,” Cobra told me.
At the family prayer vigil, Ronald hugged his mother, Teresa Neves, tight, standing next to a stone-faced Misty, who knelt down with the others to place candles by a shrine of photos and stuffed teddy bears. After the preacher asked divine guidance for Cobra, he told the family he didn’t “work for either side,” he was “working for Haleigh.”
He also said any uncertainties in his mind could be resolved if Misty gave him a walk through of the crime scene, and told him exactly what happened Feb. 10, in the early morning hours when she says she discovered Haleigh missing.
Standing beside Ronald, she nodded agreement, set the reenactment for 11 p.m. last Tuesday at the trailer. “She said, ‘I’ll be glad to take you over there,’” says Cobra, who waited for the couple at Mema’s, a down-home country cooking hotspot off Highway 17 in Satsuma. Only Ronald and a relative showed up; he said Misty had changed her mind.
“That’s when I knew she was lying about something. I had an interview set with Misty, (then) she flat refused,” says Cobra. “She never looked me in eyes because she knew I knew.”
At the table, over fried grouper and sweet tea, Ronald let Cobra listen in as he phoned home. “Misty was screaming at him, ‘you get out the f— out of there. Don’t talk to him. If you don’t leave, I’m leaving.’”
Cobra asked Ronald about her story, pointed out holes, raised questions about White Boy Greg. Ronald appeared agitated, angry, claiming he might just go home and waive his gun in her face, stormed out.
Alarmed, Cobra phoned the Putnam County Sheriff and urged them to check on Cummings and Misty. “I didn’t want that on my conscience,” said Cobra, also concerned about Haleigh’s baby brother, Junior, at home.
Responding to the call, Putnam County Sheriff Sgt. Joseph Wells, central district supervisor, whipped his cruiser into a local substation to hear Cobra’s story, taking the tip seriously, then alerted units to meet at a Kangaroo Convenience store near Cummings’ house.
“Anytime tensions reach this point, if they start to get a sense of distrust between the two of them, anything’s possible,” Sgt. Wells told me. “We always take potential for domestic violence seriously and we’ll have to check on that…obviously that’s urgent,” he told me, hunting an address on his dashboard laptop. “Then if we develop some information about a possible location of the child, that takes on some urgency also.”
Waiting for dispatch to update him on units enroute to Cummings house, he said Haleigh’s disappearance had put local parents in a state of fear, and frustrated police. “To go this long without being able to resolve the case is a concern,” he told me, adding the official reply on one has been ruled in or out. “It’s been tough, physically and mentally for everybody on our end. We want to bring the case to a conclusion, but so far it just hasn’t gone that way.”
Sgt. Wells knows Ronald Cummings, understands his frustration and anger, heard him one day talking about maybe taking the law into his own hands, tried to calm him down.
“I had a conversation with him in his truck one day,” Wells told me, “I said, ‘if he let his emotions boil over, and something regretable happens, it won’t do anything but derail the investigation and slow us down, and we gotta keep focused.”
“I told him the same thing tonight,” said Cobra.
“Hopefully, he’ll keep his head on his shoulders,” said Sgt. Wells. “Like I told him, ‘I can’t imagine what it feels to march in your shoes, but I can tell you what’s gonna happen if things get out of control and there’s additional family violence.”
“That’s why I tried to get him into a hotel tonight for safekeeping,” said Cobra, “but his concern was the attorney (for Crystal Sheffield, who is fighting for custody of his son, Junior) would see him taking the kid out in the middle of the night and it would be bad for him. I said, ‘I’m not an attorney, but I heard your old lady on the phone screaming at you. ‘I’m going to my brother’s house! You ain’t never gonna find me!’”
“Does he know how to get in touch with you?” the officer asks Cobra, should his units get Cummings to reconsider the hotel offer.
“All he’s gotta do is call me and I’ll put him up in a hotel.”
We ride out to the house, where deputies knock on the door. I see Ronald come to the door, half-dressed. It’s 1:30 a.m. Time for what police call a “wellness check.”
Ronald says there’s no problem. Cobra appears exhausted, waiting back at the Kangaroo with Sgt. Wells, then decides to pack it in with his pony- tailed sidekick, son, Mathew, 21, one of five children
“Matthew asked me, ‘Dad, if one of us went missing, would you look as hard as you’re looking for Haleigh,’ and I said, ‘No.’ He said, ‘WHAT?’ And I told him, ‘Son, you know I’d be tearing the place up. I’d put a gun to the head of anyone who knew where you were until they coughed it up.’ I can’t do that here. I’m an investigator, but this little girl tears me up. It’s why I’m working 22 hours a day.’”

I have believed Misty was not forthcoming at all, since the beginning. I hope for little Haleigh’s sake Cobra gets to the bottom of it all. Misty or her family could not get their stories straight, too many inconsistansies. I have prayed for a better outcome with this case than the Anthony case. But my hope is fading and it breaks my heart.

Hey Art, I watch Nancy Grace faithfully but I dont understand why she is all about the Cummings family and so against the Sheffield family. Why doesnt she spend the entire hour talking about the Haleigh case instead of the Casey Anthony case. I am disappointed in her and she is not fair about the issues brought up by Crystal Sheffield family.Maybe you can suggest that Nancy have Cobra on the show and let him start talking about his findings,and the interview with Ronald and Misty.Maybe Cobra’s discussions with Ronald and Misty might spark some pressure on Misty’s inconsistencies and shed new light on this case.The new person of interest “white boy Greg”just might feel the pressure and come clean about Misty’s where abouts the night Haleigh went missing.From the start of this sad abduction of Haleigh I have been following this case and if you really listen to the 911 call, I think Ronald always had a suspicion of the role Misty played in all of this.Ronald could have kept Misty close without marrying her that was the most foolish thing he ever did.Also if Nancy could interview Kim Picazio as well as Cobra at the same time and really listen to their story she might change her views.Nancy is quick to point out Crystal’s past history including the accusation that crystal reported her car stolen when it wasn’t,but she won’t spill Ronald’s arrest record which is all drug related multiple times.I am being to think that CNN reporters are not fair and just.Geraldo Rivera hit the nail on the head with his report,it was real with no holds barred.Also Misty was so quick to point the finger at her cousin, its obvious she hates him but it was a ploy on her part to change the trail of this investigation.I hope the FBI is involved and they need to work harder cause with each passing the chances of finding Haleigh alive are very slim.There is not enough publicity on this case and not enough pressure put on those who are inconsistant.The police seam very lack and needs to publicly state the facts surrounding the polygraph issues. I think bringing in the search and rescue dogs to the area of where greg lives should prove to be helpful.God Bless and watch over you Haleigh where ever you are.I pray you are still alive and will continue to pray for you until my intuition tells me different. Wow… sounds like this Cobra guy may break the silence…. but I dont agree that Ronald Cummings is not involved….IMO I think Rondal Cummings planned on using Misty as the fall guy so to speak….Before he left for work that night… he lost his temper with that child and she lost her life..IMO And now Misty is part of the coverup and aliby…..These are dangerous people…. druggies and dangerous…all in my opinion….

The key to finding Haleigh lies with Junior and his statements regarding “the man in black.” Junior said that the man in black was in the trailer the night his sissy disappeared and that the man in black took her. He also said that the man in black had “squeaky shoes” and that “the couch was jumping.”
The couch was jumping??? Is this a 4 year old’s description of a large man stomping around the trailer? Or is this a 4 year old’s description of sexual activity taking place on the couch that night? If Misty had her lover (possibly “White Boy Greg”) in the trailer that night, and if she was engaged in sexual activity with him on the couch, it’s quite clear that a four-year old might not understand what is actually taking place on the couch. So in his four-year old mind, the couch seems to literally be jumping.
What if Misty didn’t know that Junior heard or saw this, but Haleigh did? What if Haleigh woke up that night, saw what Misty was doing, expressed her shock and horror, and exclaimed, “I’m telling Daddy!”
Perhaps Misty was not thinking clearly in her drug-induced state? Perhaps all she could think about was what Ron would do to her after hearing “Daddy’s little girl” tell him about Misty’s indiscretion that night? Perhaps Misty reacted with physical force to keep Haleigh quiet? Perhaps the “man in black” then took Haleigh away just as Junior stated? And then perhaps Misty spent the rest of the evening concocting her ridiculous tale of child abduction?
I don’t know if this happened. But I do know that someone needs to talk with Junior more about his statement regarding the jumping couch. Junior will know if someone was on the couch when it was “jumping.” And with this information, it may be enough to finally get Misty to tell the truth about the events of that evening.

I have no leads to offer, only observations. If you go back and listen to what the father said on the Nancy Grace show tape, you will hear him state something to the effect of “Yes, I believe that she is alive and I will believe that until the day that they find her.” Any parent would hope that when the authorities would find her that she would be alive. It sounds to me like he might know something that the rest of us do not know. I found the statement creepy even though I do not see him as a bad person with any ill-will toward his daughter.
He is not acting like other people under the circumstances. Most don’t decide to get married and have a quick wedding. He may have thought the his wife could not testify against him. The other odd thing that I noticed was the way that he stayed at the camp site after he was cleared to go back into his home. Grief stricken or not, it seemed to me that he remained (squatted) at the tent to protect the area from being searched. Will someone please have the cadaver dogs go to the tent site to search? If the tent has flooring, please remove it from the site that it sits on and comb the area well. Perhaps something happened before he went to work, they established a plan, placed to cinder block because they knew she would be carried out by someone dressed in black, and then he went to work to cover his alibi. What time did he leave work?

I pray that Haleigh is alive and well but it has been so long and not looking good. Sightings have pretty much come to a standstill, much like in the Caylee case. What makes people think they can get away with crimes? Sooner or later, it is going to come back and bite you.
One thing I don’t understand is why Misty has not retained an attorney. Could it be because no one wants to touch it? On the otherhand, I didn’t ever think Casey could find someone to take her case either. They did prove her lies right away though.
There are too many inconsistencies here. Law Enforcement is keeping a lid on information that they have and I am sure they are close. Art and Cobra, thank you for staying on top of this story and I hope you both find the truth.

Even you Mr. Harris has enjoyed a boost of popularity to your website and “report postings”, you will gain some advertising revenue. The bottom line is this poor missing child is no closer to being found, as much as the other unfortunate missing children. Maybe if the lawyer lady and cobra and yourself used this energy & face time to help get laws to convict,as well as, for harsher sentencing of convicted child molesters and people involved with child porn your work could be useful for the future missing children… I think you have a chance to use your current popularity for something that can actually help children. The stuff he is saying about Ron & Misty doesn’t sound true at all.
If Ron really suspected Misty of knowing where Haleigh is, he would be questioning her non-stop.

Does it not bother anyone that Ms. Picazio hired the bounty hunter Cobra. The lawyer for the Sheffields brought in COBRA.

Actually, I later learned Staubs alerted Picazio that he was heading to Satsuma to dig on the cold case on his own, and that a woman might need a lawyer in the case (Crystal). She called Picazio to retain her. And later, Staubs decided he needed to declare himself neutral to avoid appearing biased for either side. That’s why he had initial access to everyone. Of course, that could change as he develops more leads that feel like he’s turning up information about people who know more than they have let on.–art

After much thought about this, this is what I think may have happened:
Misty put the kids to bed at 8 p.m. Haleigh wakes up crying a few hours later because she peed in the bed and is uncomfortable and wet. Misty goes into a rage because she is tired of doing constant laundry, etc. She calls Ron to complain about Haleigh. She might have said something like: “You better discipline this child! I’m tired of her constant bedwetting! I’m tired of being the babysitter and working my ass off for your kids, etc., etc.”
Misty washes the sheets and blankets. What else do you do when a child wets the bed?? They have to have a bath too! So she takes haleigh to the other bathroom to have a bath so as not to wake Junior or maybe Junior wakes up but she makes him watch a video while she gives Haleigh a bath. Maybe Ron comes home while Haleigh is having a bath… He is angry because Misty is upset. He is so mad that he holds haleigh’s head under the water. Someone said that they noticed Ron was wearing a bandaid on his neck. haleigh tries to fight back possibly scratching him but he is too strong. In his uncontrollable rage he kills Haleigh. They panic and throw her in the dumpster but later decide that is the first place the cops will look. Decide to take her out in the van. Drive to some remote wooded area near water (thus the scratches on the van). Come back home and stage house to look like an abduction. Just a thought! that is why Misty did laundry that night. That is why the pink pajama top is in the laundry room. That is what could have happened to Haleigh….

If “Cobra called the police to check on Ronald and Misty and they knew Ronald had a gun why didn’t they arrest him. What’s going on when a “felon”, on probation has a gun and the police look the other way. GUNS AINT ALLOWED FOR PEOPLE ON PROBATION. Is Florida law different than other state law?Did Cobra know that Ronald had a gun and look the other way. If he’s trying to find Haliegh fine. If not get out of the investigation.

No… she was talking about a task force detective; cobra is a private eye and bounty hunter and has to get people to cooperate voluntarily, and misty at first agreed to the walk through, then changed her mind. Art

Mr. Harris, I applaud all of the information you have brought out regarding this case. It feels as if FINALLY someone cares enough to keep this story alive and do some digging. I wonder if you or Cobra have any info regarding drugs or the wall panel that Teresa Neves said was removed from where the water heater sits. I have a theory that drugs were stored in those panels and they were dumped before police got there…explaining the 30 minute gap between Ron arriving and the 911 call. Maybe LE noticed the panel had been moved when they arrived and deemed it suspicious. I wonder if Haleigh possibly found a “morphine pop” and ingested it and got poisoned. She may have vomited on the sheets and that is why they were laundered. Supposedly there was a flurry of calls made to Ron which he chose to ignore because he was upset with Misty over her 3 day bender. She may have been calling to tell him what Haleigh did and how sick it made her. Ron may have arrived too late to save her and knew he had to dispose of her since it was HIS FAULT(or someone else helped her with the use of the van) This may explain why Misty got so emotional when she said “I covered her with her blanket”(she may have been trying to comfort Haleigh. That is the only time she showed emotion. She also showed emotion when she said ” I didn’t do anything to that little girl”. She could be truthful in that statement because she may have done nothing to her it could have been an accidental ingestion of drugs. I pray every night that this little one is found safe and unharmed.

this case gets more bizarre every day! Is this Cobra for real? Such low life people and liars. As I have said before,days are turning into weeks and the out come isn’t looking good for this sweet baby ever coming back. No one is telling the truth. Law enforcement can grill the backward

Are you sure this Cobra person is telling the truth?
Ron has attorney’s and any attorney worth their salt would tell their client not to talk.
I agree with #16 (Sarah) the stuff Cobra is saying about his meeting with Ron doesn’t sound quite right. Ron doesn’t act like the type who would sit back and let Misty manipulate him.
He also isn’t the type to marry someone who is messing around on him.
I think this needs to be investigated further.

It is hard for me to look at this objectively. The big question on my mind is wondering if this bounty hunter is honest or just looking for publicity?
I think Mr Harris should interview Ron and find out if this stuff the bounty hunter says is true.

Ok I am confused here. I watch Nancy Grace every day. She told viewers last week that Ron’s lawyers told him not to talk to anyone unless they were present.
So, how in the world could this article be true? Mr Staub’s says he met with Ron, but Ron was told by his lawyers not to talk without them.
I have to ask you Mr Harris, are you sure Mr Staub’s is telling you the truth?
Rose–When Cobra was meeting with Ron all last week and the weekend before, he had not hired lawyers. I believe it was last Friday or Sat when his lawyers were in place and he told Cobra he couldn’t talk any more. So all this happened BEFORE he lined up lawyers late last week. Since then, he’s been chasing other leads, more than 100 checked out so far.

If Cobra is really there for finding Haleigh,in light of the fact that Dominic Casey is working for Marie and Crystal,is it possible this was set up for the money of child support?It would be to the Anthony’s benefit to have what would look like a serial abductor since Haleigh’s name,middle name and birth month are so similar.There is big money in the Casey Anthony case,with all the well known representation.Is it possible someone paid the Sheffields in the bargain they get a free lawyer for the custody and all the rumors surrounding Ronald could cause his to lose Jr and Haleigh would show up suddenly?

Oh my goodness! I just want to cry (and I do) when I see all the precious pictures of Haleigh, and how big and beautiful her smiles are in almost every one. It truly rips my heart out! I can only imagine how it is for the family!
Why, would anyone want to take and disrupt something so innocent and precious? Please, all of you child predators, molestors and creepy people, leave these innocent babies alone, and let them live their lives! Why don’t you all just seek out each other, and do all your creepy things to each other if you can’t control yourselves. If you are creepy parents, give your kids up to someone, who wants children that cannot have them.
I hope, whoever has done this, has not messed this child up for life, or killed her, and is caught soon! And, if you have, I hope you get it a million times worse for whatever you may have done to her, or any mistreated child. Haleigh, baby if you are alive and can someday read this, I hope you will find strength in going on in your life, by knowing there are good people in this world, and we are all feeling and praying for you and your safety. Are you sure Cobra is telling you the truth about meeting with Ron? And all the stuff this guys says Ron said?
It has been on the news that Ron’s lawyers advised him not to talk to anyone unless they (the lawyers) are there.
Sounds like this guy Cobra could be taking you for a ride. You might want to check to see if this story he told you is true.

If you read t he piece, you’ll see I was riding with Cobra all week, when he met with Ron at the CITGO, when he met Misty’s family and revisited them several times, when he knocked on doors and took Ron’s mother, Teresa Neves, into the woods to look for something that spooked her (that video’s coming), when he was invited to the family prayer vigil, when he had dinner with Ronald, when he met with key investigators in the case to share what he had. Etc. Had I not seen him work his way into the confidence of opposing families, everyday people and dirtballs on the street, I’d not have believed it myself. Even cops concede many people will confide things to him they won’t tell the police.
A couple of days after the dinner and Misty’s change of heart, Ronald got a lawyer, and he told Cobra he’d have to go through counsel to talk from here on out.

Art, Ignore the bashing on covering this case. We know you care about children and child abuse in general. Your reporting is praised for keping Haleighs story in the public. I could careless is you own a mansion in BH, drive a suped up Hummer and a $200,000 customized Harley Davidson. Don’t drop this case. Just drop the dirt.
Here are my concerns. Watching this case from the beginning up until tonight I have heard the stories change and new players come and go. First Cobra reported he was contacted by the Sheffield family. Then he reported he was hired by the Sheffield family. Then Cobra states he was not hired by anyone and doing this for Haleigh. Then he is seen with the Sheffield family. Then he was seen with Ronald acting like a Big Bro as you were filming. Then he reported he was being paid by a private party. Lets back track a little bit again.
He was seen with the Sheffield and haleighs mom when he arrives. They bonded. High hopes. Things looked smooth and the Attorney rocked into town as well. Not long after his arrival. Then he was seen with the Sheffields attorney and Crystal locally as if she was his little sister. She announced he was her PI as well.
Then he was seen stomping around and making statements he would only be there for two weeks and solve this case. All the while, still under the same reports he was hired by the the mother of Haleigh.
Meanwhile, the Victims Advocate came in, before Cobra and the attorney to lend her support, once they emerged, she flew back home. That I understand.
What has me baffled is the attorney is not a media attorney. She stated she was seeking custody one day, maybe two on Nancy Grace and interviews. Then she stated she wanted to have DSF look at the case before custody. Then she said she was not the mothers custody attorney and only in the case to find out who adbucted this darling child.
The end result is this. Detach yourself from this circus. There has not been a consistant statement by either the attorney or the PI, whom seen to be linked together. It is not up to a PI or an attorney to solve this crime. It is up to the police and FBI to not only solve this crime, but to bring justice for Haleigh at the end of this investigation. May be she be found safe and unharmed.
Advocates come in, lend their support and move on to other cases, like Tim Miller, Wayanne Kruger and yes, even George Anthony, a victim as well. I am perplexed why they continue to create or fabricate storie’s to keep viewers watching as if this is a reality show. Promising leads and tips one minute, then shanging their tune the next day or next week on air. I am still waiting, the long breath I have been holding, since Monday when the attorney announced that this team would reveal what really happened to haleigh Cummings by 3:00 PM on Nancy Grace the next day. Wednsday has come and gone, as is the rest of the promises. Will they actually pack up and leave or will they be another LP who stays on the case until the childs remains are found dishing our dirt and onliners until someone finds this child alive or worse. I remain hopeful. I won’t even start on the Cummings inconsistancies. That is just as confusing as the above, if not more.

Hi Art, I see the comments you made to Jeff #28. I read the piece too, but didn’t realize you had been riding with Cobra all week and were there when Ron made these comments.
Thank you for keeping Haleigh in the news. Between you and Cobra I feel the truth will come out faster than what the police are doing. At least I hope so! I also Pray this child is safe and alive somewhere and will be found.

Mr Harris, I read your article and also the replies you posted to other peoples posts. Based on your replies you mention that you rode with Cobra all week.
I was wondering did you actually hear Ron say that he only married Misty to find Haleigh? And that he would divorce her after the child is found? That Ron really believes this girl is messing around on him?
It is hard for me to comprehend that he would marry her if he thinks so badly of her.

I think the Cummings and Croslin families need to be given the chance to respond via lawyers. If this is all tainted nonsense…which I personally think it is , wording twisted to fill an agenda ie;Cobra’s agends then I think Ronald & his family have to seriously consider lawsuits. Telling one side with out the other is exactly that, it is a bias one sided hear say it is not a report or an account of actual events. As far as I am concerend with out an invited earger…by Cobra ” Polygraph” conducted on this Cobra by the Police, all avenues he is connected in this case, all sides interviewed, then it is hear say gossip. I also think it is irresponsible of you Art not to seek out all facts and wait for facts, facts like Polygraphs. Reporting hear say at this time is placing Haleigh at risk of being found later under the hundreds of bogus tips this side show is causing. It is real officers, real time, real foot work, real time into files, & tips Each one sparked by gossip hear say nonsense is placing Haleigh at higher risk of not coming home alive and longer she has to survive the place she is in, & she is not dipping oreo cookies in milk & watching Disney movies if she alive. It would seem to me whatever Ron told Cobra would probably be the same if questioned by Art. His lie stories and truth stories must remain consistant to save number one,(himself), even though he loves Haleigh.
On another note, Ron doesn’nt ever remember seeing that cinder block which held open the back door of the trailer. I finally saw it in one of the photographs, lying on the ramp. It looks like a side section broken off of a larger block. If so, these blocks and pieces are commonly used as platforms for the jacks which support and help level the trailer. There are probably more pieces underneath, maybe some under the back door ramp. I wonder if LE took this into consideration. – Just a thought.

Thanks again Art and Cobra. It is frustrating waiting for information and justice for Haleigh. I just cannot understand why this whole thing happened. Why Haleigh and not jr? Did Haleigh see something she shouldn’t have and is more apt to talk? One part of me wants to think it was a pediphile because Haleigh is female but it could have been junior too.
Why get married to someone you know is messing around on you? Misty’s whole attitude changed the day they went to the courthouse to get the license. The day of the wedding, Ron’s hug to Misty seemed distant. Also, I did notice on the Today Show that they were not the happy newlyweds! Misty had quite a frown on her face. Why does Ronald always go for 17 year olds? Easier to control?
I would not have put it past Misty as being the one that drove the sister-in-law’s van that night. That may have been how she got to see “White Boy” and being as she does not have a license, inexperienced driver, and probably in a hurry, that is how the van got damaged (broken headlight and gouge down the side). Driving down unlit back roads can be difficult for experienced drivers at times, unfamiliar with driving on a daily basis in the area.
As far as Crystal…I suspected at first but she was not in the area. It doesn’t have anything to do with the child support due. It costs far more to support a child than the amount of child support payments. I think she is very concerned about the welfare of Junior, especially knowing what is going on between Ronald and Misty right now. Crystal’s attorney was top of her class, seems like she knows what she is doing and VOLUNTEERED to take this case because of her beliefs.
Because of the way the locks were, the set up of the house, Misty supposedly in the same room as Haleigh at the time, I find these far more compelling than a mother behind on support. I think I heard there were no foreign fingerprints in the house? Whenever Misty is pushed in a corner, she walks out or feels uncomfortable or stops cooperating. Makes me want to go hmmmmmmm

Ron and Misty are both GUILTY! I know Nancy Grace was hard on Crystal but I believe she knew there was more info she was trying to get from Crystal. If you remember She commented along with Mr. Klaas that they couldn’t go back to where their loved ones were murdered. Mr. Klaas never left his home from where his daughter was taken,because I am sure thats where he felt closer to her at the time.
Its time they get Jr. out of that home and place him with Crystal.
I know each county investigates differently. Why have they not arrested them?
My prayers are with Haliegh. Everyday I ask God PLease lead us to her where abouts.

For those of you who believe the van was involved…It couldn’t be. LE released it last week. If they found something it would be held as evidence. I am wondering if LE took the cadaver dogs through the trailer. That would be the first place I would look since it was the last place Haleigh was seen. Can anyone answer why is it, when Crystal cries, not only are there no tears, but why are her eyes not red? If I were crying as hard as she puts on to be my eyes would be extremely red. Maybe Misty left the trailer that night and Crystal found out about it. Crystal had someone take Haleigh but they didn’t have time to get Jr. because Misty interrupted them. That would explain the fake crying. Either that or Crystal just doesn’t care.

Why did Cobra initially think Crystal would need an attorney? Why did cobra alert Picazio that Crystal might need a lawyer? How did Crystal know to contact Picazio? Did someone tell Crystal to call Picazio or did Picazio contact Crystal first? Cobra decided he needed to declare himself neutral to avoid appearing biased for either side. He said Crystal needs a lawyer but not Ron and Misty? I don’t care whose side you believe, that is very biased. Has he even talked to Crystal about Haleigh? Im sorry but you as a mom of two, my kids NEVER pottied the bed a 5 years old…My daughter at 2 first time in her”big girl bed” never again. 5 yrs old is a tad late to be wetting the bed….usually when a child wets the bed at that age and older, there is a reason WHY ! Someone is posting elsewhere that they know certain information being from the area and all. Two things they have posted are that Ron spent lots of money on Misty at the fair, and that Ron clocked out at 9:30 the night Haleigh disappeared. Is there any truth to any of this or just rumors. Has Ronald Cummings returned to work? If not, how is he getting by financially? People are claiming he’s misusing funds donated to help locate Haleigh.

It sounds like Cobra isthisclose to getting somewhere and then Ronald’s “lawyers” step in. It’s obvious that Misty knows what happens, whether Ronald was involved or just her, the theory that Tray came up with here makes sense–they both know what happened and know they could be in huge trouble, so they came up with this story.
If that’s true, what a horrible thing to do to the generous and kind people who are out there looking, volunteering their time and tears to find this little girl.

This question is for Art, but perhaps anyone who’s been closely monitoring this case in the local Satsuma news could shed some light.
Polygraphs mean little since there are cases where people have passed and later confessed and been convicted. Here’s the question:
There was a ‘report’ that police were satisfied with Cummings alibi as to the time he left work as that was supported by his boss. Did the report come directly from police, and if so, since police are very tight-lipped, was there any confirmation that all of his time at work was accounted for?
Did his boss or any co-worker ever give an interview that advised they beleieved they could account for all of Cummings time during his shift?
Is it even known (for certain) what time his shift began that day?

I am really sick of everyone tippy-toeing around her. She’s lucky it wasn’t my grandchild! I’d have taken her out back for a little chat, after which she’d be more than happy to fess up! All anyone has to do is look at her initial interview to tell she’s lying ~ eyes closed, trying really hard to cry. God help those grandmothers if Misty is pregnant!

Cobra, Hear me, Ronald has a long drug arrest record.I don’t believe he served the amount of time incarcerated for these crimes or maybe he served reduced sentence because he may have agreed to wear a wire and he helped cops get some bad guys.I’m sure undercovers are keeping a eye on Ronald which makes it hard for him to get his fix.Thats where misty serves a purpose for Ronald.I think he actually protitues her for drugs which is where “white boy greg” comes in.Greg may not be the big drug dealer but as long as he gets his piece off misty he pays her with drugs.Its a trade off.Thats where she probably was the night baby Haleigh went missing and Misty was so drugged up but yet remembers little jr was still awake before she passed out.Thats why she didn’t hear anything supposedly.I think she knew what was gonna happen.She had a long hard weekend alright,she was on her back or knees.I don’t care what she does with her life,she is old enough to know better,but because of her negligence and ronalds addiction they now paid for it with a CHILD.What did she do all weekend long that she was so exhausted?She is only 17.Its not like she works and goes to school like most people her age are doing.Along with her inconsistencies she has a arrogant cocky attitude and is very self centered.Why did she come out and say she would never hurt a child before anyone even suspected her?Cobra, you need to keep pushing to relive that night Haleigh disappeared.In fact if you can relive the whole weekend up til the time of the disappearance it would give you all more clues.And maybe you will find out what caused misty’s ” exhaustion.’ Thats where your gonna break this case.Remember there is still a little boys life at stake.The police need to get both their cell phone records while you do your thing.This is all going too slow if anything is being done at all to find her.Your not gonna get answers from the family of ronald or misty.They all have their suspicions of each other but none of them want to question each other for fear of future allegations being placed on them.Come on cobra get the big guns out now, time is slipping away.Please respond and leave comments on this sight.Everyone is reading and leaving comments in hopes of helping you find haleigh. What startles me about this case is why has’nt Ronald Cummings been arrested for violating Florida law? At the time of Misty and Ronald relationship, When it first began, Misty was only 16 years old and ronald 24 or 25? Now shes 17 but she was not when it began. Under Florida law, any one the age of 24 and over, who has a sexual relationship with anyone from ages 16 or 17, commits a second degree felony. The right of the parents consent only applies to marriage not a sexual relationship that already has a law on the books on this matter. I also believe that a hair folical warrant should be obtained for Misty and Ronald to determine when was the last time they used Illegal narcotics, because I’m quite sure drugs has played a big role in this case. Squeeze em till we get the truth!

A hair folical test could provide law enforcement with a timeline if drugs might have been used at the time of Haleighs disappearance. Misty and Ronald are covering up something to protect something or someone, and that something is drug use and maybe to protect their drug dealer or contact where they get their dope. Thats what they dont want to come out. If drugs where used it could be determined that the home would be an unfit enviroment for little Ronald jr. especialy if it is meth related being a dangerous substance!!!

I just watched NG tonight and once again she was all over Cyrstal’s atty. CNN sure isn’t fair and balanced NG has it in for Cyrstal and for the life of me I don’t know why. Ronald is a known abuser and drug user (arrested 9 times)& would probably be in jail if mommy didn’t work for a judge. I don’t really think he gives a flying flip about either of those children, all along it’s been aboout control. He did get Cyrstal to come back 2 or 3 times, he gets child support, he gets young girls to look after them and he gets $2500 for each child from the goverment every year in tax rebates. From what I’ve read here he’s running around town and acting like a fool, who can go spend $1000 at the fair? Where did that money come from. I hope people aren’t still sending for the Haleigh fund because that’s what he using, he even went into the local Citgo and emptied the jar for Haleigh and bought beer and cigerettes, right in front of everyone. What nerve. I just pray that Cyrstal gets Jr. and NG gets a CLUE.

Terri I agree with you. I have been a NG fan, but as of lately I can’t stand the show. I am tired of the same intro “tonight a desperate search for a 2 year old little girl”. Nancy that little girl has had her memorial and has been cremated..stop looking so desperate to keep the story alive. Casey is not goin anywhere! Why does she appear to hate Crystal and her attorney. Why not crucify Ron for what he is …a sexual predator! Where’s that story. Had it been Casey that did all of the bs Ron has done…FORGET IT! She’d lose her mind. I just about lost it when she suddenly moved on to dancing with the stars sweetheart! Why isn’t this story the top story. Why isn’t she demanding the truth from Satsuma? Lets say Ronald has worked out deals with the local law enforcements on his drug charges. He would not be hanging with his biker family, now would he. There are the Outlaws, Pistons, Kingsmen, and Pegans in the area. That kind of thing doesnt set well with them. “Keep your friends close, your enemies closer.” Heard often from bikers, gangs, mafia, and excons.
Wish I could read lips…on alot of media coverage there are words being exchanged in background. Example: When Ronald and Misty leave the Courthouse, you can clearly notice that Ronald was upset and walking away…You then see Misty running up to him. To me it looks as if she said “Whats wrong” and he answered her…get an expert on it…have them read conversations of people in the background. Example: Another media coverage an unknown man leans over and was whispering something to Misty. While Ronald was talking to reporters…This was when a large group of people were walking behind them.
Lawyers and the judges in this county do small talk when court is in session. Like have you been hunting lately…right before hearing a case about a gun. You cannot get a fair hearing here. Its who you know. Buttering up the judge before a case is heard is not professional or fair. I have even seen a Lawyer sleeping in the courtroom during a session, that is disrespectful. So, if this ever goes to court…I hope they take it out of the county. For Ronald must have freinds in the court system.
Even the counties sex offenders get away with violations. Gov Crist if it is found to be a sex offender…what do you plan to do…have your assistant answer for you…for you failed to followup on this counties issues that sex offender officers have their hands full. Misty is a child still in my eyes…and Ronald had to be supplying her cigarettes and beer. Last time I knew…that was against the law.
I would have emptied the trash or ashtry to see if different cigarette butts were found and do dna on them. Local police didnt even take the screen door for evidence until later…whats with that…Law department stated we are not like you see on tv CSI…we locals expect more from them, then how this is being handled. I would have even taken the lint trap out to confirm Misty story about washing sheets and blankets…to late now…but not if you remove the drum of the drier for it would still hold fibers. (Sure looked like alot of dirty clothes on top of the dryier in a basket on NG) If Misty had someone over that night…say male…I would examine finger prints on the toilet seat lid as well, in both bathrooms. By now its most likely been cleaned…was the sweeper even taken…like in Caylee case…check for blood or hair.
April 9th is the next full moon…if not cloudy it would be perfect for reinactment…but remember time changed so must be there one hour before 8 pm to watch the lighting. In the eyes of an intruder from the outside in and inside…can you see movement for outside when lights are on…
Art, not sure what you call it but did the screen door’s lock work…the thing that locks the door open…not to lock it closed…the clinder thing…noticed in picture it had one…why didnt intruder use that…or did the intruder know it didnt work. Puzzles me…
Does the IRS need records of all the money that is donated to Cummings and the family? IRS should request the family to keep take of expenses on the funds. Even if donations are considered as a gift…local people upset about it.
More then anything I want Haleigh to be found alive. She has touched many lives. Even those who do not know her. We need to stop this kind of crime against children. M Matthis Says-Maybe Misty lied to Ron, said on her myspace page she was 19 and single? Cobra and Art- If a light was on in the kitchen wouldn’t someone farther down the hall be casted as a darker person to a child? And wouldn’t wet shoes may have come from walking in wet grass causing the squeeking on lineleuom? Why did Ron assume misty let his “daughter get stolen”? Did Misty place the brick in the door to carry out Haliegh because she wasn’t strong enough to open the door quietly and carry the child without waking JR?

Also(now that my comments are finally getting posted), has anyone looked at the roof of the trailer for clues(keys, prybar, gloves, etc?). What is Ron’s work record look like? Has he missed a lot of days? Is it possble that they didn’t want to go back in the trailer for fear that it is bugged? Has the police discovered any meth labs in the surronding area recently? Why was poor Theresa out in the woods alone looking for her grandchild? Meth labs are usually found in remote places(woods), where did the tip come from?

I agree totally with Mac (#5 & 59). Nancy Grace is very hard on Crystal Sheffield & her attorney, and seems too biased toward the Cummings family. Why, in the interest of the truth and fairness, is she so snotty to Crystal’s attorney? There seems to be alot more dirt and lies on the Cummings side of things – warranting more doubt on that side of the story. After reading all of these comments, and the ones from the snake-chasing (goose-chase?) video on the 26th, there is SO much more to this story. Since Nancy Grace is the only national media outlet for this very sad story, why is she ignoring other, valid opinions & facts? I watch NG every night and have done so since the beginning of the Caylee A. disappearance. She is a tough attorney/interviewer, but she is being very mushy & soft when it comes to Ronald Cummings and his family, and Misty also for that matter. I understand a child is missing and possibly dead, but come on!
If I hadn’t come to this website and read all of the comments, I would have never known how much of a scumbag & trailer trash Ronald Cummings and his baby-wife are. I have always gotten my info from NG nightly. Prior to coming to this website, I smelled a big RAT and it was in that trailer park where Hayleigh disappeared. Now I know that rat is exactly where I suspected it was.
Art & Cobra: you are doing an EXCELLENT job of digging up the truth. Please do whatever it takes to have NG report this case OBJECTIVELY and not one-sided as she is obviously doing. It’s not for my entertainment purposes, but I feel that if more people know more facts (all of them – not just one side), maybe someone’s memory will be jarred and they will come forward with info to find Haleigh.
I just don’t understand why NG is drinking the Cummings Kool-Aid.

If it is so about Ronald telling on some of the bad guys, then that is the answer. The king pin ( drug dealers) are upset with Ronald. He may even owe them some money and they have told him that they would get even, and they did by kidnapping little Haleigh. Shame on you Ronald for putting your family in jeopardy.

Art, your work is to be honored as are other advocates and asistance to help solve Haleigh’s case. NG is bias towards Ron and his family. I agree with #51. If one can get Misty out from under Rons control she will crack. Maybe even have information of Ron’s abusive pattern against woman.
Maybe someone can answer this question mentioned by #34. Regarding Wayanne Kruger on topix.com listed at http://www.myspace.com/desiraybartak. I’ve searched the newspapers archives of their work and it is impressive. Do you know if it’s true when Wayanne Kruger asked Rons mother for a stuffed animal of Haleigh’s to give to Crystal, Ron’s mom blasted back, “NO!” I heard this at the Justice Coalition when they were releasing the baloons and Rons mother kept giving them a cold look after Crystal, Misty and Wayanne came back from visiting the trailer where Haleigh was abducted.
Is the family so cold and distant they would not even allow Crystal have a toy for a keep sake until Haleigh is found? If true Kudos to Ms. Kruger for thinking of Crystal and thumbs down of Ms. Neves.

I agree with Miriam #19.That’s about the idea I came up with. The cummings family has major issues. The innocent child got caught in the middle of their drugs and rage. Sounds so much like the Anthony case. I don’t think the bounty hunter will do much good at solving this.He’s another LP,who was on the Anthony case. God bless the children!

i disagree with the mother who said five was to old to wet the bed and that her two year old had there last accident at two. my sister wet the bed til she was twelve because of the abuse she suffered as a child. i know because i had to sleep with her. if haleigh was being abused or scared of her father this could account for her wetting the bed. people who donot have to live in these situations will never understand it you may try but it is not the same.

Why can’t the law take Ronald and Misty in for questioning (sep. rooms of course) and not let them out until one of them cracks. This is a child that is lost. I am a grandmother and would move heaven and earth to find my grandchild if he or she were missing. I would re-enact the night of the events, I would take lie detector test, I would do “anything” I needed to do to find that child. Why don’t others? Unless they are guilty of something. I think the law should force them into the police station for questioning like I said or lock Cobra alone in a room w/Misty and not let her out until she tells the truth…. just my 2 cents worth.

I live in Putnam County, about an hour away from where the family lives. So all of you self-righteous, pathetic, idiots need to get your fucking facts straight before you let your fingers run off in place of your mouth.
Mr. Baldy, in your description of “Cobra” the “Dog” wannabe you seem to not mention to the idiots here about the trip “Cobra” took to the Putnam County Jail the other day. Yea, why don’t you tell your ididots about that? How he went to a man’s home, pulled him out of his home, put his knee in his back and dragged him to his $100,000 truck and drove the man around for an hour with a camera man in the passenger seat and then took the man back home and asked him if they were alright.
Thank God, this man called the “REAL POLICE” and filed a complaint against him.
I hope this man not only sues this scumbag for his $100,000 truck I hope he sends him to jail.

Oh. I see Greg’s full name and address are out there with police saying he was questioned, poly’d and released early on.
Elsewhere in blog world it’s alleged both he and Croslyn gave statements to LE to the effect they were on a 3 day binge prior to Haleigh’s going missing. No official comment on that that I could hunt down. It fits with what Kim Picazio is claiming, though.
Beginning to think that failing a miracle (finding the child) or a confession, that outside of the custody hearings, no one may ever be charged in this case.
What LE may believe and what they can prove might be miles apart.

I figure she had done it before. Just made sure she got back before Ron got home. Only this time – no Haleigh. But that is why her story has been constantly changing -she wasnt there and is making it up as she goes try to keep people from finding out the truth. Did she do something to haliegh? I don’t think so. Except leaving her for some sex weirdo to come in and take and probably kill her. I feel sure that like caylee she will be found dead within a few hundred yards of her house. If I read the stories correctly, the man was an accused child molester who faces capital punishment if found guilty at a trial coming up in August, accused of tying up two little girls inside his house and sexually abusing them while their father was waiting outside. He’d been hired to give them unicycle lessons, the record shows. Earlier, the man dropped by the Haleigh tip center to offer some used furniture to Haleigh search organizers…only the center’s organizer declined to accept two old desks he could have used from someone accused of a sex crime against children.
Witnesses reported other drive bys at the center after his offer was rejected, and while police had reportedly checked his alibi in the Haleigh case, and found his ankle monitor did not place him near the crime scene, Cobra learned he was out on a $70,000 bond but had posted no collateral. Moreover, the company that gave him the sweet bond deal was once owned by a convicted child molester who now, after serving several years in prison, sits in the office run by his wife.
As a bounty hunter and investigator deputized by a bonding company to make sure clients are complying with terms of his bond, and that the risk remains safe to insure, he’s got the authority to detain someone who bonded out to make sure, as several experts explained it to me. As I understand it, Cobra showed police investigator, including the lead detective in the Haleigh case, all the paperwork in the man’s bond file outside the Bilo store in Satsuma a couple of days before he paid the man a visit, and made sure such a visit would not harm their Haleigh investigation or the case against the alleged molester.
Oh, and did your research turn up the fact that Cobra asked for the “real police” to be on hand when he ran into trouble, and that two deputies were indeed present to observe the cuffs going on? Police know all that –and that it was caught on the automatic video camera Cobra had running in the truck — for his own protection against bogus claims — like the cameras highway patrolman use when they make their stops.
Curious if you are perhaps related to the man who did file the complaint, or have any more so called “facts” you can share about the charges against the alleged molester my sources tell me appear rock solid after a thorough investigation by one of the finest detectives on the force.
As my police sources read it, the complaint appears to be an attempt by an accused child molester to portray himself as a victim and sway sympathy from folks like you, though it’s a nuisance filing at best.
Now, who was it you are alleging is a “scumbag?”

There’s been so much to read and watch on TV about this lately… that I don’t know what to think period!
But, I was wondering if Haleigh’s teacher and school officials were aware of, or ever even noticed any emotional and/or physical problems with her prior to the disapperance?
I mean, since she walked around with an injured face that was so visible (with more injuries than first noted) at all times to see…wouldn’t that throw up a red flag?
The pictures that they are claiming was done at school with the nurses notation of “just a scratch on the nose” are questionable?
If you look at them, there’s a whole lot more going on with more than just one scratch on the nose showing up, and the swelling is very apparent as it goes up to the black eye. Shouldn’t they have documented in more detail for all the scratches or abrasions instead of just being so mild about stating “scratch on the nose”? And, I don’t understand why her hands and knees were not affected (as in breaking her fall) like I heard it mentioned by Crystals attorney when she “tried” to comment on Nancy Grace. I think the attorney makes a good point that needs more attention than she’s getting!
I know kids get injured but, where do you draw the line to not be concerned and question things more intensly (especially about an innocent child?????)
Another question, did she go to school the same day of that evening she was taken? How was she that day?
Something about the way Misty’s explanation, and her demeanor on one of her last outdoor interviews strikes me really odd, on how she expressed herself explaining her bed time at 8pm because she had school the next day (when she, herself should be going to school) It just strikes me really funny!
Could there have been some female jealousy there? Since she is a child herself, and fighting for Ron’s affection – and since Hayleigh seem to have a better happy go lucky, people personality than her (Misty’s) cold looking (kind of smart-ass)bitter, under aged, smoking, looking attitude. Well sorry, that’s how she shows herself on TV!!
I think Misty’s a cute girl, but what’s making her want to be a mommy so quickly to a ready made family, with all the responsibility at such a young age that are not even her own? Eventually, frustrating problems will come up,(and they most likely did) that she wouldn’t be mature enough to handle. Especially, if you are on drugs (which is probably why she can’t keep her story straight) and maybe trying to always cover up something. LITTLE GIRLS CAN BE VERY DEMANDING AND HIGH MAINTENANCE IN TODAYS WORLD! And Haleigh seemed to be drawn to it from what they state.
And, I feel the little boy, Jr. needs to be somewhere that he can have stability, and not be worried that he will be snatched up and God knows what, when the dust settles and Haleigh’s found (and I hope it soon, and she’s OK!) I shudder at the thoughts of what she might be going through! I just want this to have a happy ending! Please, whoever has done this… bring her home NOW!

But I just want to know why Crystal’s past and present situations aren’t being aired the way Ron and Misty’s are.
I don’t think it is fair that Ron is being attacked by every single media outlet there is that are covering this tragic story.

Art, I have a few questions about Crystal and her side of the family and hope you wouldn’t have a problem seeing if you can answer them for me.
1. Is the Chad Griffis listed as Crystal’s boyfriend the same Chad Griffis listed as Bruce Griffis’ son? Also, is Chad Griffis the same Chad Griffis that is listed as the father of Crystal’s 11 month old daughter?
2. Did Chad Griffis have an injunction with regards to his children with his ex for two years against him and just expired earlier this year? If so, what was the reason for the court ordering a two year injunction?
3. What is the reason for Crystal not paying the court ordered child support for Junior and Haleigh?
4. I have seen lots of photos of Haleigh with Ron, but I don’t recall seeing any of Haleigh and Crystal together. Do you have any photos of Crystal, Junior and Haleigh?
5. Is it true that Crystal and Ron had an upcoming court date with regards to Crystal not paying her child support? If it is true, what date was the hearing scheduled for?
6. How does Crystal support herself and her daughter being that she doesn’t have a job?
7. Did Chad have rude remarks about Junior and Haleigh on his My Space Page?

I can tell you this is Chad V the fiance of Crystal with a two year order to keep him away from his own children, it is not a secret. He is the son of her stepfather. Why also did it take Crystal five hours to show up when Haleigh went missing? She did owe support and while I don’t know the court date. The papers telling her she had one arrived just prior by a day or two of the child going missing. This is around the time of her first seizure. If you look at the entire family and who the have had as associates it does make one wonder if in some twisted mind they could have felt they could help mom out. LE has ruled nobody out, that includes both sides of the family. Everyone on NG’s case and she is the only one that barley brought some of this side of the families crap out. Everyone else has pointed at the dad. It is ridiculous like a witch hunt.

Ronda, you finally said something I’ve been wondering all along!!! Every photo I see is of Ron and Haleigh…I’ve seen ONLY ONE photo of Crystal and Haleigh. In all the ones of Haleigh and Ron, she couldn’t be happier, from what I’ve seen. Also, Crystal very quickly shut down her MySpace page after people started commenting that 5% of it was dedicated to Haleigh, and the other 95% was dedicated to Crystal and all her party buddies, and baby Chloe. Nowhere on there did I see anything about Jr. From what I understand, there was a pending court date about child support, but I don’t know the date. As for Chad Griffis-baby-daddy-step-brother, he’s now set his myspace to private, but have you seen the nasty shirtless profile photo? Ewww! And Staci, if someone were going to create a fake profile, they wouldn’t have all his family and friends on his friends list, now, would they? Sure it’s easy to create a fake one, but it’s not so easy to have his FAMILY on his friends list, is it?? And where is all this cash going that’s being contributed? How do Crystal and Ron live? I’m gonna’ take a shot in the dark here, and bet the taxpayers are (and have been) taking care of them. Everyone knows as hard as it is out here right now, it takes EVERYONE in the family working if you want to survive. How do these two (these 4, actually, since Ron and Misty don’t work either) rate so high that the rest of us can drag our butts out of bed every single day and put in our 8 hrs (14 for some of us) every day, while these 4 sit around and chain smoke all day? As for the “seizure,” that’s what the doctors call any such event as these when there’s no other medical explaination for the episode. If it were serious, they wouldn’t have sent her home the same day after the 2nd event. My guess is she was driving without a license, and had to think fast when she hit that other car so she didn’t get taken straight to jail. But she kinda’ screwed herself on this one, because if she DID have a license, they take it for a year when you’ve had a seizure. And there’s no way a judge will give Jr to her if she has no job AND no way to get him to and from school, etc. It’s a sad situation all around. I noticed Ron’s side has been very quiet thru the seizure incidents…but I don’t doubt for a second if it had been him or Misty in an accident, Crystal would be screaming all over the news about how they were probably doing drugs, and demanding a drug test. There is one good thing, though…Crystal’s mouthpiece has finally shut up.
Oh, and as for Marie’s rant on the news last night, does she really think it’s helping any to get on tv and scream about how MAD she is, and that the “people of Putnam County know something and they better start talking?” I doubt anyone other than the one who took her knows anything about this, so to condemn and entire county when you’re not even out looking for her yourself is an outrage. That’ll sure make people want to help look and donate, Marie! And after all, the donations are what’s most important, right? Gotta’ get that cash rolling in! (WINK) I hope someone other than her mouthpiece is keeping track of those “donations.” Sad thing is, a lot of them are made in cash (such as the collections at the fair and race track), and can easily be hidden. Sigh. So sad.

Couldn’t “her mother and family” be working to support themselves while they’re here? I mean, Crystal didn’t work BEFORE Haleigh went missing…now she’s got an excuse to hit us up for cash (where before she was just getting it thru our tax dollars…probably still is)! Wonder if she reports all this income to the welfare department? Her mother SHOULD have resided nearer to her while she was HERE. That would have been preferable, don’t you think? One thing’s obvious…Crystal didn’t write any of what’s on the web site…it’s all spelled correctly, and has only one typo!

sandradee…in an interview with Chad he stated he wasn’t in Putnam County, helping with the search, because he was caring for his children & WORKING…so undoubtly he has a JOB!! As far as the “4″ of them chain smoking….I have NOT yet seen Crystal or Chad chain smoking…I haven’t seen the FIRST cigarette in Crystal’s hand or mouth!!!!! As far as where is the CASH going…it’s evident where RONALD’S is going…cigarettes, tattoos, $$$ he spent while in NYC!!! Who would run to an interview in NYC??? He was over 800 miles away from where his daughter disappeared from~~~if they wanted to interview me about my MISSING daughter, they would come to the state where I was living & LOOKING FOR HER…he wasn’t looking for Haleigh that day was he?? Not to forget his taking the time to go get a marriage license…taking the time to stand there like a zombie to get married to the last known person to see your daughter, before she goes missing??? NOW what was that you were RANTING about Marie being MAD… not looking for Haleigh….pftttt…seems Ronald isn’t!!! What good was he doing being NYC?? Being at a court house, getting a marriage license?? Going to a tattoo shop??? I don’t recall CRYSTAL OR MARIE, leaving the state of FLORIDA, to go on an interview in NYC…going to a court for a ML, or getting tattoos…and don’t forget getting married!! Crystal and Chad aren’t GETTING MARRIED!! From what I have SAW on videos is the both of them (Crystal & Marie) spending the majority of their time, at the Haleighbug center…and even having 2 public cookouts for the people who have been helping with the search of Haleigh…MAYBE that is where a good bit of their donations are going!!! Just thought I would give you a few POINTERS…b4 YOU start pointing fingers!!!! As for anything else…NO ONE’s hands are clean…honestly I know of 3 people I have ever come in contact with, that have NEVER smoked pot, I wish I could say I was one of them, I’M NOT!! I have experimented with it, back in my younger days…HELL CLINTON did! So many of the people condeming Crystal Sheffield, themselves 9 times out of 10 have smoked POT…no telling how many have tried Cocaine!!! As far as calling kids brats….how many parents don’t??? NG?!?!? Mother of the year….I think not…she’s no different putting pics of her children on the internet and T.V. Pedipholes like any type of pics of kids!! W hat is she exposing them to??? Well you sure have lots of explainations and excuses, there, Stacy. FYI – if Crystal and Chad aren’t getting married, then someone should tell her, because she’s been calling him her fiance all over the news. And then, of course, they do have a baby together! I think Ron, Misty, AND Crystal have all done their children a horrible injustice by the way they’ve repeatedly FAILED them throughout their young wifes. You talk about how Ron’s blowing $, but who paid for Crystal & Maries makeovers, fake fingernails and new hairdo’s? Me? You? The state of Florida. Yep…parents of the year…all of them.

I have to say this site seems really one sided. Crystal Sheffield’s behavior has been deplorable from the get go.
Take a shot at the dad every chance she can get. She lost her kids because Ron gave the court a bogus address? Give me a break.She had three hearings and Ron said she had a cocaine problem. The lawyer mentions Chad as having a relationship with Crystal in one of these hearings. Chad arrested for felony possession of cocaine a year later. The woman has not worked in two years and now she wants donations? Get real, she got mad that Ron got help and donations and she has succeeded in exactly what she set out to do. Not even considering in the process that she took the focus off of Haliegh. Pathetic. As are Kim Picazio and Cobra for serving her in anyway or rather using her to get media attention. Horrible excuse for a mother, I can see why she lost custody.
