Exclusive: Misty Cummings Mom Speaks Out!
Lisa Croslin speaks exclusively to www.artharris.com about her daughter, Misty.

SATSUMA, Fla.–The Bald Truth has learned Misty Cummings, the 17-year old who was baby-sitting Haleigh Cummings the night she vanished, has been warned to “watch what she says” about what happened the night Haleigh disappeared.
In an exclusive interview with artharris.com (aka The Bald Truth), the Croslin family tried to put to rest troubling questions about Misty’s varying accounts about the night she was supposedly home alone with Haleigh and her little brother, Junior.
“I don’t know if it was Misty’s mistake in the story or if it was turned around by the media,” says sister-in-law Lindsy Croslin, 22, who sat next to Misty’s mother, Lisa, and spoke to me exclusively at their home in Satsuma two days after The Today Show interview that sparked debate about Misty’s credibility.
“She says they were all in the bed, but Haleigh was on the floor on her mattress in her little bed watching TV,” her mother, Lisa Croslin tells me. “Junior was in the bed with Misty.”
Who was sleeping where and what child was watching which video where has been hard to decipher, and investigators tell me they are still pouring over Misty Cummings’ accounts of finding Haleigh missing, and comparing them, including her interview with www.artharris.com.
“We almost have to tell her to watch what she says,” explained Lindsy, “not because she’s hiding anything, but because it’s so mixed up, and then they start asking more questions and more questions. She’s just so tired. She just doesn’t want to talk about it.”
Here’s what Misty told artharris.com in an exclusive interview CNN’s Nancy Grace Show is expected to feature tonight, along with our exclusive Lisa Croslin sitdown above:
“I put her (Haleigh) to bed at 8 o’clock,” Misty told me. “That’s her bedtime when she has school. She didn’t’ go to sleep…She was probably asleep in about 30 minutes.I was washing her blankets.
“I laid her blanket on top of her when she was sleeping. Then I made my bed and got into bed. Then I woke up about three o’clock to go to the bathroom.
“On the way from the bathroom, I noticed the kitchen light was on. I walked to the back door and noticed the back door was open, so I run back to my bedroom to get my cell phone to call Ronald and that’s when I noticed Haleigh was gone.
“I was scared, I didn’t’ know what to do. I’ve never had to go through anything like that before. I was very, very scared.
“I called my mom to let her know what was going on. I was really terrified, scared.”
In our interview, her mother, Lisa, tells me Misty always “sleeps with lights off., So when she woke up and noticed the (kitchen) light was on when she went to the bathroom. hen when she went around the corner, she noticed the back door was open…She ran back to the bedroom and Haleigh wasn’t in there. That’s when she started calling.”

2. Goes across trailer into a room w/adult present to take child.
3. Turns a bright light on and leaves it on.
Ronald just happened to come home when his child went missing. Tell me who wouldn’t have noticed someone was coming all the way across a trailer to take a child she loved so much as her own?????

Okie Dokie Folks, just a few questions, fairly concrete one’s. What time was Ron’s Grandma at the Mobile Home? What time was the A\CRepair Man at the home? Why did Misty use the Bathroom outside the Bedroom? Didshehave to jump over Junior to get out of Bed, if so wouldn’t she have noticed immediately that Hayleigh was gone. Misty evensaid the light was on in the Kitchen, this would have “lighted” up these areas. I think she afraid to tell Ron the truth, that She had left.(Mysti)

Im not buying it Misty knows more than she is saying. I think it is crazy to marry the father and have the nerve to say they were not trying to take the light off of the little girl missing she and Ron are so two faced he dogs the real mother and accuses her of taking the attention off the case yet me takes the time to marry a teenager? Marriage would be the last thing on my mind I would spend every waking hour searching for my little girl.

this makes sense since we have seen the inside of the Cummings house if it was all dark and she woke to go to the bathroom she would have seen the light on….I really thought Misty was guilty of something but honestly…I just don’t know…Crystal with all her fake tears,and lies she seems like she may know more than we think!

This interview with Misty’s family is the first time I have heard anything about speculation that Haleigh must have gotten up and changed videos. Is this the first time that this has been publicly mentioned? It just seemed strange to me that in all of the various stories Misty has told (in interviews), this is the first time anything is mentioned about the possibility that she was awake after being put to bed.

I think that the septmother was jelious of the little girl and the love her and her father had. i think the septmother wanted to be number 1 and got rid of the PROBLEM meaning the little girl so that she could have the dads 100% attention she is totally involved her story is all over the place she needs the truth beaten out of her she is a stupid bitc* in my eyes and i can’t belive the father married a loser like her!!!! candace in britsh columbia,canada

Hi Art,
I saw you on Nancy Grace tonight pointing out some things Misty was saying that were inconsistant. Well that same night Ron was on the show he had 2 inconsistencies right here on the show that no one noticed. Several viewers on Websleuths picked it up on it so I thought I’d email you to point it out. Here is the thread so you can see where they did:

These two things happen in the first half hour of the show b/c it was around 8:30 that people noticed he inconsistincies that he had.
1. First Ron said that Misty was standing at the door when he got there THEN later on he said that Misty was looking all over for Haleigh when he got there.
2. First Ron said that he tore the house apart and then called 911 and then later on said that he told Misty to call 911 and THEN he started looking for Haleigh
Like I said just wanted to point this out.

According to the narrative portion of this initial report, Misty SPECIFICALLY told the police that night that “she had put the children to bed at approximately 8:00 P.M. Misty said that they were sleeping in HER BED, and when she laid down at approximately 10:30 P.M., both children were still in bed.”

Ronald makes a point of saying his child “was stole from MY BED.”
Ron also said on Nancy Grace that all three were in the same bed. Later both Misty and Ron changed their stories.
These are NOT mis-reports by the media. These are alternative versions of the story told by Ron and Misty.

Haleigh Cummings Case Exclusive: Misty on 3 Day Bender with Lover and Drugs.
Satsuma, Fl– A source inside the investigation into the disappearance of Haleigh Ann-Marie Cummings, 5, from Satsuma, FL, confirmed to Blinkoncrime that Misty Croslin was on a weekend bender with a man who has been arrested previously on drug charges, three days prior to Haleigh’s disappearance the early morning hours of February 10, 2009.
Recently, Blink on Crime brought you the radio interview and background of William “Cobra” Staubs. The bounty hunter (minus the hat) and PI is being funded by an anonymous donor out of Miami and has spent a significant amount of time with both Ron and Misty. As I shared with you, my readers, I believed he was legit in this case.

Greg Lewis Page, 28, resides on Magnolia Avenue in Palatka, FL. In a chilling coincidence, he was arrested on drug charges on Caylee Anthony’s first birthday.
He is light-skinned, of African American descent, and he is “White Boy Greg” referred to by Cobra in his interview:
“..I said Ronald, I have a very difficult question to ask you, about your now wife. It appears one week before Haliegh came up missing, she was. And Ronald told me to “stop right there, I know what you are going to ask me, yes was she f*cking a black guy? Yes, how do I feel about her f*cking a black guy? I know this, if I didn’t marry her, I would never, you hear me? What do you do to your enemies?” I said (Cobra) “You keep them close.” Ronald says “Exactly, and if I didn’t marry her, I don’t know where in the hell my, where am I going to look for my son? (Cobra meant to say daughter).”
Misty and Greg On the Record
Late this afternoon, Blinkoncrime has learned that Greg Page has taken a polygraph regarding the weekend with Misty and the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings. He admitted he was with Misty and the usage of drugs.
Page was CLEARED through his polygraph of any involvement in Haleigh’s disappearance and PCSO does not consider him a suspect.
Misty Croslin Cummings also admitted to the weekend and drug use following confrontation by LE of this incident during a polygraph as well.
Misty Croslin’s account of that evening has not been cleared by Law Enforcement nor has any representative spoken publicly about the results of her polygraph.

Remember the Nancy Grace show when the producer showed the house. If Haliegh was sleeping on her mattress on the floor then Misty would have had to walk right past her there in the bedroom since the double bed and Halieghs were paralell. I think they killed her when Ronald picked her up from school. Ronald doesn’t seem to know anything about a cinder block that propped open the door. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Look at all the prior tapes and you can see that Misty was as high as a kite. If there were drugs in the house thats a good reason for child protective services to take the kids from Ronald. Did they have life insurancce on her. Was her “turner syndrome” more serious than expected and did they have health insurance to cover her. All motives. If she was involved Misty is holding all the cards as far as domestic violence is concerned, “If you touch me Ronald, I’ll tell what you did. She wasn’t there.

Is it possible that someone was in the house just waiting for Misty to fall asleep? I myself, feel Misty might have been partying out on the ramp and let the children entertain themselves with the videos. Someone needs to talk with their friends to see if there were people over later in the evening. Hopefully,they will tell someone at the “Helaigheybug” station what they know.

A lot of you are posting comments that are hurtful and uncalled for.
This is not the first time in history that a child has been taken right under someones nose. Polly Klaus, JonBenet Ramsey and Elizabeth Smart are three that I can think of off of the top of my head.
It is not only possible but unfortunately, it does happen. I think Misty and Ron have been treated unfairly by too many people.
To Catherine from #2, I can tell you why Misty would go to the bathroom outside the bedroom. I have done the same. Children tend to wake up if you flush the toilet. It just makes sense to use another bathroom.
And think about it, when you are half asleep, details don’t always register. Think about it. Are you wide awake and alert the minute you wake up?

I don’t think Misty or Ron are guilty of anything. If they had something to do with the disappearance of Haleigh, they would not be so cooperative with investigators. This family is going through the most horrible thing. Their child is missing.
I think the bio-Mom may have something to do with the disappearance of that poor baby. She is obviously bitter that Ron has custody and the kids love Ron’s wife. I really wonder why investigators haven’t investigated Crystal more.
The media has been too harsh on this family. This child is missing and too much emphasis has been put on the family.
Someone took this child. The question is who? My guess is the person who took this child proped open the back screen door, went in through the front and out the back.
Has anyone checked to see if this family had a key hidden outside? Who else had keys to the house? Were any windows unlocked? An intruder could come in through a window and out the back door.
The whole thing is horrible. I really feel for this family. Their child is missing and everyone is attacking them left and right. I Pray Haleigh is found alive and well soon!

Crystal is a liar. She has filed false police reports and lied to police in the past. She has lied in court. It is all a matter of public record. She has been calling DFS for years on Ron and not been able to substantiate her claims of abuse. She is an angry bitter woman as is her mother. Her mother has been convicted of running a drug den. Crystal has her own criminal past. Crystal’s behavior strikes me as strange and histrionic. She dabs her eyes and her mascara NEVER smears, every chance she and her mom get they slam Ron. This started from the get go with Marie Griffis claiming “her people” told her Ron was on T.V slandering Crystal as a bad mom and talking about her not getting her kids to the doctor. Anyone ever see this T.V. interview with Ron? The reason for her to start slinging crap? The one “her people” told her about? Crystal is BIO mom and that is the perfect name for her because that is ALL she is. On Geraldo when asked about Haleighbug she replied “if you wanna do any donations” that was it, she said not one word about Haliegh. No photo of Haleigh. I went to the website and it was ALL about Crystal. How Crystal needs money to feed and cloth Chloe and JUNIOR.
JUNIOR lives with ron. Chad should be able to feed and clothe Chloe. Crystal is a fraud.

Croslin can’t make a single consistent statement because she’s making it all up and that’s what people do when the story is false. The memory isn’t real so all the details are wrong.
You can see her changing her mind mid-thought.
‘She didn’t go to sleep…she was aleep in 30 minutes.”
She was making beds…after children were allegedly sleeping.
Haleigh was in a pink T shirt, she wasn’t in a pink T shirt.
Her mother makes it worse. The child got up, changed the video in the machine and watch a movie while Crosling slept??
You can see how angry and controlling Cummings is in every joint interview. This is a man who was videotaped the morning after his daughter disappeared. He’s supposed to be pleading for her return, desperately waiting for news about his child, yet his cell phone rings and then beeps a message and he doesn’t EVEN LOOK AT IT?
These two people have had dead eyes, slumped shoulders and looked defeated from day one. They KNOW what’s happened to this child.
Three cadaver dogs alerted at that dumpster. This is just terrible. Crystal may not be perfect but she’s absolutely right to be suspicious and fight for custody of the little boy asap.

I’m not clear on what the issue is here, Fact is the media first turned it around, Misty first said Haleigh was sleeping next to her. However the first reporters failed to fully clarify and did not know a bed was on the floor in the room and from that they ” The Media” assumed it meant Haleigh was in bed with her. It is a matter of phrasing, this is so redundant and rediculous, geeesh no one has to attend the University of higher learning to figure that out how it was easily mixed up. It was a simple phrasing issue and media assumption. Can it be put to rest now please!!!

I feel she done something to this child, Because she was Daddy’s Little Girl and she wanted to be Daddy’s Little Girl. So what better way to be Daddy’s Little Girl you have to get rid of the main one. I read or heard some where she stated she ( Misty ) went to bed about 3:00 am then got up alittle after that to go to bathroom when she found back door wide open. Ok this chic did something her self. I think I read that in Nancy Grace’s Transcpits.I don’t think either of these people need these kids hoping Haliegh is found alive. Ronald should have married a woman old enough to take care of his children, and not married a child herself. Kinda makes me wonder if he may need to be on that sex offender list.

I always felt that a female has a built in radar sense (sort or speaking, kind of like have a 6 sense, 1. to intruders, 2. if a child gets up or perhaps a noise like a door opening or the light coming on, that would wake me up). I live in a trailer as well and if someone was to come in, for one the entire trailer shakes from someone moving around because a trailer always shift, whether it me winter, spring, summer and fall. That’s just the way it is, had it been me there watching the kids, for one thing, I wouldn’t sleep till the kids were a sleep and two, I would recheck to see if the doors are locked, windows, etc. What gets me is why din’t Misty sense someone in the place, JR saw a person with a black mask, so why not Misty, that alone would wake me up, whether I had taken a sleeping pill or not, my inner sense would wake me up. Long before the sole called person had the chance to snatch any child, I would clobber the person who had the child, there is such a thing as kick between the legs etc for pretection and thrown the person out and relock the door. If she knew Haleigh’s habits of going to sleep or not, she should keep checking the child every few minutes. My daughter wouldn’t go to bed either and I stayed awake till I was sure that she was asleep, my daughter also was bad for sneaking out the window at the age of 12 or so, she learned that from her friends. However I was always on top of things, thank goodness I was a night person. However no matter if i was sleeping or not, I always slept in the livingroom and always kept my 6th sense available for anything, I even double checked the windows, doors and locks.

On media coverage Ronald stated you can see the kitchen light from the bedroom. He even offered to show Nancy Grace. I would have loved to have seen that. On the next full moon reinact the lighting to the home…show everyone how the light from the kitchen shines…into the bedroom. But Misty states she didnt notice the kitchen light was on until she was up and heading toward bathroom which is at that other end of the trailer. Could it be that Misty just forgot to turn the light off when she was cleaning the blanket. She stated “I laid her blanket on top of her when she was sleeping. Then I made my bed and got into bed. Then I woke up about three o’clock to go to the bathroom.” So, as she walks through the kitchen carrying the bankets she could have left the light on to see her way to bedroom. What happened to the sheets (remember them)…that Misty stated she cleaned and put back on her bed, because Haleigh wet the bed…Pictures in the local paper clearly showed to small bed sheets on the ramp in two different piles. Unless the intruder carried Haleigh out with the sheets. I did not notice a clothes line. Or maybe Misty had them hanging on the railing of the ramp to dry them and the wind knocked them down. Proping the door open to carry the blankets out to dry and forgot to close the door as well when she was bring them in. If Misty’s prints are the major ones located on the door and no other prints reveal intruder…meaning no sign of breaking in since Ronald stated he locked it before he left for work…then afterwards it was Misty who unlocked it to bring in the blankets. Of course Misty would say no I locked it to cover herself…wouldnt you…if you are afraid of someone like Ronald just found out his daughter is missing and call you a B****. Plus, hear him say he would kill the person that did it. Maybe she is in neglect and Haleigh left on her own…then someone picked her up…or she is in the water. What color was the so called blanket and is it missing. Dont forget it was Misty that stated she was wearing a pink pj to bed and later Misty was the one that found it at the backdoor…then what clothes are missing…piture this in your mind. An intruder grabs a child out of her bed wrapped in sheets carries her through the kitchen…to remove the pink pjs he would have to remove the sheets…then way are the sheets outside…and not laying next to the pjs…or maybe Haleigh wet her pjs and changed herself and put the pjs at the backdoor…she didnt want to get in trouble and walked out.

If the main kitchen light was the light that was on…how did the intruder know which switch turned on what light and how to find it. If it was the light by the washer/dryer Misty could have left it on when she was washing late in the evening.

Nancy’s Show showed the inside of the trailer…with report and grandmother doing a walk through. They mentioned that you can not hear the floor make noise. But you can clear as a bell hear the shoes they were wearing. Clotting throught the kitchen area. Gym shoes will sometime make a noise if you drag your feet on floors. Maybe that is what JR was trying to say…that the Gym shoe sound is what he heard. As for black clothes…come on its almost bike week…79% of the people in the area are wearing black and orange…its Biker theme wear. An intruder wearing black on a full moon means he lived close by or a vehicle. If he was in the wooded area black would be noticed on a full moon. Hunting gear is for the woods. And as Nancy’s Show stated Haleigh’s shoes wear at home.
But the roads are paved in some areas and dirt in others.

So story comes out that Haleigh must have gotten up in the middle of the night to change a movie. Which Tv did Haleigh change it in the front room or the bedroom that Misty was in sleeping. Then Misty must have not heard the tv going and or even check on who was up then…I good parent or babysitter listens to every noise in the home…and the sound of tv would mean one of the kids are up and you need to check on them…if Haleigh is smart enough to turn on a tv and replace a tape…then she would be smart enough to move a kitchen chair to turn on a light.

How could Misty make her bed before retiring for the night if the little boy, Junior, was asleep in the same bed? Misty claimed she made her bed before she went to sleep, approximately three hours later.
I also do not understand why Misty would wait until the children’s bedtime to wash the blankets for Haleigh’s bed.
Something about the statements Misty made does not add up!

To Catherine (number 2 post) – Misty never did get to use the bathroom…she got up to use it and then noticed the light in the kitchen so she wasnt walking across the hall and even if she was it would probably be so that she didnt wake the kids.
To Stephanie (number 7 post)…. I have a 3 year old son and there have been times when he has wet the bed and I make the bed with him sleeping in it. All you have to do is move the child to one end of the bed and remove those parts of the sheet, then move them to the other side and remove the rest of the sheets. Do the same when you are making the bed. My son is a heavy sleeper so even if he wakes up he falls right back asleep. It is possible….and I would risk him waking up so he doesnt have to sleep in wet sheets or clothes.
I think there is so much to this story that the police are keeping hush on. Like the cinderblock, Ron says it wasnt his so the kidnapper would have to have picked that up, so there must be fingerprints. I think we are all going to run around in circles until the police give us some answers, but they must be keeping a very closed mouth on this one….and either someone who claims to be innocient is very guilty and the cops just don’t want to tip them off that they know!

The case of this missing child is like a feeding frenzy! Cobra wants credit and is in print and on TV bragging how quick he figured out what the police did in week, yet nothing new is known. The mother’s lawyer is all over talking out of both sides of her mouth about child abuse and then this is not a custody battle- yet she is on TV getting her “pro bono free advertisement”, the Mother is collecting and collecting and collecting and I have not seen this money donated to the police or the reward fund? Do these people show up for every missing child case or just the ones that get TV time? Let face it, this has become a feeding frenzy and it is all about MONEY!!!!

in ref to some questions asked by no.2 .I have 3 yr old that sleeps with me in my bed most nights .i have bathroom in my master bedroom but in middle of night when i get up to go to bathroom i go to the main bathroom to keep from waking my 3 yr old,plus it gives me oppertunity to check things out and make sure they are ok . i do not open the other bedroom doors to check my other girls rooms at night unless i see things out of ordinary . so i can understand that part of story .also like i said i do have 3 yr old and have awaken some nights from tv in my livingroom and she has gotten up and turned it on to watch cartoons and i didnt hear her get up .i am not the only parent who has ever had this happen. and eventhough it has been said that she was taken from bedroom this is speculation because misty was asleep and if haleigh changed the movie whos saying haleigh isnt the one that turned kitchen light on ,and it is very plausible that haleigh was awake when whoever it was came into house and thinking it was her daddy went into the other room to meet him .my husband works nights and when he has came home early sometimes my daughter had done that .the sad part of that being it wasnt her daddy. my take on the mother is she didnt care anymore then she did to not show up for custody cases so why is trying to win mother of the year now ,plus if she noticed abuse why wait til now ? i`ld be yelling it to everyone who would have listened for past few years . not wait til haleigh is gone .a thought that has stuck out in my mind is did the bio mother have the child taken from the home with intentions of taking both children and jr wasnt as easy to take as haleigh was and is hiding her with some family somewhere until after she goes to court to obtain custody .wont it be a shock if she wins custody then haleigh show back up.

Ron said early on that he always, always keeps that back door locked. He stated to NG that they really do not use that back door. If that door was locked, someone had to open the deadbolt and the door lock. Ron said no one has keys to that door. So the door lock would have to have been tampered with to gain entry. But, there was no sign of forced entry. Why prop the door open? Especially a flimsy screen door? You would think that if someone broke into the back door and came in the room Misty was in she would have woken. Also, it’s been stated on NG by Ron and his mother that if the kitchen light was on, it would have illuminated the trailer. Misty would have to have seen it on before she even left the bedroom because they sleep with the bedroom doors open. Misty says she saw the back door open, did she see the screen door open or the main door? It’s very vague. If the main door was shut but unlocked did she go and examine it or was the main door propped open as well?? She said she went to bed at 10:30. What does she mean she was making her bed? Who makes a bed at 10:30? Plus was Junior in the bed at the time of her making it? Isn’t it kind of ironic that she woke up at the same time Ron comes home? Why are these basic questions not being answered on NG? I am sure this is why she’s been questioned for 30 hours.

This whole story scares me. If Ronald knew about her affair…why marry her? Keep friends close, enemies closer? I am afraid that Ronald will do something to Misty and quite possible junior just so Crystal can’t have him. I think this is part of the reason that LE is being so tight-lipped about this case. Ronald said on the 911 that he would go to prison for the rest of his life if he found the person first. He also said he was 75% sure of who was responsible….meaning Misty?

I guess I need to be 17 and nieve again. All of us older and wiser persons have learned a long the way, sometimes later in life. One thing I noticed is when Ronald is backed into a corner, his answer is “I don’t know, I wasn’t there”. makes you want to go hmmmmmm. I’m surprised there is still confusion about where the cinder block came from that was used on the back door. All you have to do is look under a mobile home to see they are propped up on cinder blocks. Possibly there was one or more extra blocks under their home? I noticed on tv their skirting looked pretty bad, did the police do that and did they thoroughly check underneath the home for drag marks, or anything else of evidentiary value? Or, was the skirting already like that? Someone could have laid in wait under there IF it was done by someone outside the home. How come nobody has ever mentioned the front door?? Since the back door has no signs of forced entry, someone could have propped open the outer back door, came in the front, opened the other door and put clothes down to keep it open, then go into the bedroom. This however, HAD to be someone who had been in that house before. This sounds a lot like a copycat of the Anthony case, that was my first thought when this news first came out. Now that they are married, Misty is now smiling and referring Heleigh in the past tense. At the very least, Ronald is a fool for getting married in the middle of all of this. Not a smart nor a logical move imo.

One thing seems pretty clear, whoever did this had probably been inside their house before. That would lead more towards Ron and Misty and whoever they had over for company. There is a slight chance someone laid in waiting, observing the house, and noticed the doors. Still don’t think someone could see the inside door well enough to know it closed on it’s own w/out something to prop it open. It’s hard to ignore the fact that Crystal was served court papers the day before for being 4,000 behind in child support. Doesn’t she have a fiance? If so, we haven’t heard much about him. That keeps her in the suspect pool imo. Sounds like they all either use to or still do drugs, and it would not surprise me one bit if this was revenge on Ronald. As he said, “she’s not property, she’s not a thing, she’s my child and i want her back”. That could be taken 2 ways, one a general comment or two, a direct comment meant for someone in particular. When i said “copycat” in other post, i only meant generally. The details are different but there are also similarities. Going through the similarities is a whole other page.

I can’t believe that finally someone else noticed Crystal and her fake tears! From the very first moment I saw her, it reminded me of Susan Smith that let her two little boys drown in the car that rolled into the lake. Crystal keeps dabbing at her dry eye with tissue. Also, did you notice her trimbling hands as she was dabbing. Anybody can make their hands shake. No tears from this mother. Looks like she also had on eyeliner/mascara and nothing smeared from a tear. Even if no eye makeup on, I didn’t see a tear, much less swollen eyes from boo hooing.

Ron & Misty are very suspicious both as parents and as caretakers! Florida is known for letting children stay in homes where abuse occurs so the fact that Ron was given custody of these two children does not mean he is a good parent. He is a pedophile! First he gets together with a 16 yr. old and now a 17 yr. old? That makes him look pretty unfit as a father right there. I hope Crystal gets custody and a wrong committed by the original judge is overturned.

Hey, how many of you with an infant, would look around and see an 11 yr old child and think, someday that child will be my babys parent? Or even a 13 yr old? Thats how old misty was when haleigh and jr. were born. So, Nancy Grace, comparing misty to crystal as both being young when they became parents is unreal. And though the law does not prohit an older man to marry an underage girl, such as 16 or 17, so long as there is parental consent, there should be a law that addresses the age difference between the young step parent and a child who is in the custody of the other parent. You would think an 18 yr age difference between step-parent and child, the age of legal adulthood should be applied to marriages of this sort.

Let’s not forget that Ronald is the one that has a rap sheet for drugs but never convicted. Ronald seems to have a knack for meeting drug abusers…Why? The mother of his 3rd child, I believe, as said there was/is abuse. She is out of the picture and no reason for her to lie. She was another one that was 17 and had a child by him. She was smart enough to get out of the situation and chose to raise her child on her own. Always have to look at the common denominator here and it is Ronald. One way to control is to provide with drugs. He would not be able to control as much with someone his age as he can with young ones. When backed into a corner, his answer is “I don’t know, I wasn’t home”. He could have come home from work during lunch…16 miles from work to home, out Rd 17, 26 minutes going the speed limit. As controlling as he is, he could have come home to check on her and she wasn’t home. That doesn’t answer the question though, Where is Haleigh?

I had a vision this morning when I woke up. This little girl came to me in spirit, and said something about an Uncle Ronnie that came and got her. She says he came in her room, got her and and took her to a what she called a “Tanker.” I don’t know for sure what this “tanker” thing is. I get the impression it might be like a huge truck or something.
I asked her to describe this Ronnie person to me.
This was our interaction:
Me: Can you tell me about Ronnie?
H: He is mean.
Me: What does he look like?
What color hair does he have?
H: Brown hair
Me: What color are his eyes?
H: Green
H; He has a scruffy face.
Me: Is he fat, or average, or skinny?
H: Skinny.
Me: Why do you think he took you Haliegh?
H: To be mean.
Me:Did you drive very far to get to the tanker you just told me about?
H: No.
Also, Halieigh did not tell me this, but I kept seeing the maroon interrior of a car. I am assuming this is an older model vehicle with a maroon color for the carpets and seats. The seat material is like a Vallure or something. I can tell it is a larger car, smells like smoke so this person that took her definitely is a smoker.
It wouldn’t suprise me if this person is a drug addict too.
I don’t know anything else. I only know what my experience was this morning with this little angelic Halieigh girl. I normally do not get such vivid visions but It felt as this needs to come to a close.

Ron takes the kids for a visit and then never returns them! thats a good person. you just have to look and listen to him talk to know he is a controling person.Misty looks to him before she answers what she can’t think for herself? when he was first interviewed he said she isn’t property who would even think to state a child like that unless you have an idea who took her. I am sorry, but I think that Ronald is getting the short end of the stick. He was at work! That was checked. He has been slander by the egg donor and her lawyer – and had no evidence at all! Personally, if I was Ronald – I would think about a law suit. That guy has been on the news everyday BEGGING someone to bring home his child. He is nothing like Casey. Just because he lives in a trailor doesn’t mean that he is a bad father. Just because he has a younger girlfriend doesn’t make him a bad guy either. He has been doing his best by his children – without support from the egg donor. I am praying for Haleigh, Ronald Junior, Ms. Neves, Ron Senior, Grandma and Misty. Keep the faith.

My idea of what is going on with Misty’s changing story is that Ron made it all up and told her what to say. I think that he may have killed Haleigh and then told Misty to call 911 and told her what to say, while he played his part in the background of the call. That is why she didn’t call until he got home. And she couldn’t lie as good as she was supposed to, hence the different stories. He reminds me of Susan Smith. I also think that he abuses Misty and that she is afraid of him. And lastly, in his mind I think he was thinking that if she married him then she wouldn’t have had to testify against him. As for whether he passed the lie detector or not, alot of murderers can pass those. Heraldo Rivera is the only one that sort of has this opinion, too. I might be totally wrong. It’s hard to tell who the biggest liar is out of all these people. One thing is a fact, if there was an intruder he/she(?) went in there willing to take on Misty and or do whatever to Jr to quiet them if they woke up.( i never did buy the story of a person dressed in black, that Crystal said Jr told her). That is a huge risk. So, her cousin Joe(?) has a history of break-ins using objects to prop open doors? What’s the odds. Misty said she didn’t trust her cousin yet Ronald is so quick to back him up. If the cousin is involved and Ronald knows it, this guy has shown him he will do anything to anyone, a good reason to be afraid of him. That would be bad news for Haleigh since he had from Fla to Tenn.( if he drove) to do whatever if he took Haleigh, God i hope he didn’t.Misty told of a fight between Ron and her cousin over a gun. Ron denied it but it was reported the gun was found in a ditch. Also, they keep saying the cousin was at the house that night but Ronald is quick to say he was not there. Very quick. Possibly he thinks the cousin took her(revenge?). Not a family i would be so quick to marry into. SO Misty…was you’re cousin at the house that night or not? Ron is usually quick to say “i don’t know, i was at work”, so why is he so sure about the cousin not being there?? I think the police will solve this case, i think they are keeping their info tightly sealed, i doubt they have ruled out anyone, and unless she was taken by the cousin i think they will sadly find her remains not far from their home. I hope i am wrong and she is returned safely, it’s just that so much time has passed now, but never give up hope unless you have to.

I have wondered from the first time I saw her if Crystal had set this up and is hiding the child. Her boyfriend was in the military, and you know they do train military people to get in/out of places and not be noticed.

To Helen, #14, it appears you watch Nancy Grace and read forums to help Misty cover her lies. Misty said, “I woke up to use the bathroom, but I saw the Kitchen light on.”
The police are watching the same thing as you and they will know if Misty says she was going to use the bathroom down the hall, it is because a caller said this on Nancy’s show.
Ronald needs to be arrested for sleeping with teenage kids and so do the parents of the kids. What parent allows their kid to live with a man 25 years old? Unfit comes to mind. As for Ronald’s family, did they ever question why their son wants kids?
Misty, if you read the forums, you would be wise to tell the truth. #14 might convince you that things that nightwere hazy, but you know what happened to Haleigh. How can you say you love her? Prove it, tell the truth. If you don’t, time will.
As for Ronald, can’t you see he is only using you? He married you with the hopes he won’t get arrested for rape.
As for those kids loving you. I am sure they do, but not like a mom figure. You are a kid and I am sure they connect their feelings with you as being just another child. What the heck is Ronald teaching these kids? It is okay to be with an adult when they are kids? If you can’t relate to this as them being Ronald’s, try to imagine them being your babies. Is this how you would behave?
If there was confusion in Misty’s stories, then why would Ronald be confused? He backed Misty’s lies. Misty said that when she got in bed, she got in between the two kids. I do not see how she could confuse this considering this is what she did every night. Ronald agreed that Misty slept ith both kids every night. You tube has all of the videos.
Misty, Ron called you those names because he meant it. If you will notice in he baks a lot of what you say, but then he sometimes says he was not home. He very well may be trying to place all blame on you. He wasn’t home, you was. Think about it!

Crystal’s back child support is a ridiculous theory to kidnap her own daughter. The child support is for both children – taking one makes no sense. People are attacking her for being concerned for her son’s safety however, if she wasn’t stating concern people would be saying she did not care. She can’t win with these people. Not having custody does not automatically mean she is unfit – she did not have the better job – driver’s lic. etc. and that was the way he won custody. Remember she was another one of Ronald’s child/adult relationships she was very young when he was awarded custody. Crystal is also being slammed for not seeking custody before if she REALLY loved her kids well if she is $4k behind in child support do you really think she had money to hire an attorney to fight for custody. Come on be realistic people. This MOTHER is hurting. Also, remember Haleigh did not disappear from her home. If you want to point fingers point them in the right direction. Haleigh I am praying for you to come home safe and soon until then may God bring you comfort. Did anyone check Ronald’s time card from work, or are we supposed to take his word for it? If Ronald trusted Misty with his kids, why didn’t she have a key. There is something fishy about Ronald spending money at the fair. Is he even back to work? Where are the witnesses who can prove “proof of life” for Haliegh after Ronald picked her up from school. If someone other than “family” saw her they need to come forward. Do we even know she was at school and did any other parents picking up their children see either Ron or Haliegh? Where is he getting all the money he’s throwing around. Wouldn’t it be awful if the family set up an account, soliciting money, while knowing Haliegh was already dead. After 30 days missing it’s almost a certainty.I can’t understand the Florida police, they couldn,t find little Jessee Lundsford and now little Haliegh. Start asking questions of the police and hold them accountable.

Thi is what I am thinking, but since they are keeping a tight lid on the evidence they found, then maybe there will be an arrest soon. Ron is a sick puppy! He don’t love Misty, he only loves himself. I think his tears were fake. He hung up on the dispatcher not once, but twice. The second time he hung up, he said he will call someone that will help if the dispather couldn’t do anything. Did he eer call anyone else? Who else would he have called? His dealers? I think the whole family is on drugs.

Honestly I had a conversation with my brother about NANCY GRACE today…she may be alot of things but that is one smart woman she did not get where she is today by sitting on the sidelines doing nothing!she is smart and she tries to get to the truth…people may not like her strategies,but obviously you like her enough to watch her and talk crap so what does that say about yourselves???she is like everyone else trying to figure out what happened to Haleigh,I only have one issue with her show she always has these defense attorneys on…hardly ever a prosecuter.I hope that someone finds this little girl soon….this is a devestating case.

I would still like to know did Misty have a car available to her and the kids while Ronald was at work? If so then she could of had away to have left those children alone in that house while she went out for a bit. If not then someone then came and picked her up.Those arrangements could have been made earlier in the day or even days earlier to have been picked up after the kids was put down for the night. And why would you turn off all lights in the house when Ronald said himself Haleigh was afraid of the dark? Wouldn’t you keep some sort of light on so if she did wake up to go to the bathroom or to get a drink she wouldn’t be scared? I know that I would keep a night light on for my child on that was afraid of the dark. I would think if you didn’t have some kind of light on for them it woul make them more scared so it would be easier to just keep some sort of small night light on. They do not cost that much and are cheap to use. I use to have one in our daughters room and one in the hall and one also in the bathroom to light her way. She is now 17 and is no longer afraid of the dark But said they did help her when she was real young to over come her fears of the dark. That just has me at a lost right there no nigth light for Haleigh knowing she is afraid of the dark. Then our son he sleep walked, One night he had gotten up and went to my sister in laws in the middle of the night, We did not hear him go out the front door and we to lived in a moble home, But he did wake up my sister in law brought him home. It was cold real cold. She said he came in their room and woke her up and wanted to know where is my mom at? She knew right off he was asleep so she told him well she was at home in bed, and she put him in her pick up and brought him home. Well needless to say the nexet day I got a lock that he could not reach and put on the inside of the front door and he would of had to climb up onto something to have gotten out but by then maybe we would have heard him. But thank God he never done that again. So Haleigh could have left by means of sleep walking and someone picked her up. Because our son just done that well twice but that was it then I guess he grew out of it.Was sure glad of that! I lost a few nights of sleep worring about him sleep walking. In reference to #33 comment, as far as I heard, the reason Chrystal didn’t go for court appearances and is going for custody now, is because when she was with Ron, he wouldn’t let her get her drivers license. I think he was afraid she would take off and take the kids with her. She did leave him and took the kids, after she had enough. After he had custody of the kids, she went and got her drivers licence and that is why and I think she is trying to prove to everyone even him that she is now capable to provide a stable home for them. She was afraid of him and judging from his anger, who wouldn’t be. From what she said, she didn’t want to keep the kids from him, so she let them go with him. After he had them he went to the courts for full custody. He didn’t return them after she generously allowed him to see him. I also think that if she was behind this kidnapping, all courts wouldn’t let her have them and she would be thrown in jail. Kidnapping is a crime and right now I think we should all pray for this little ones safe return and the real ones be arrested and thrown in jail for the rest of his/her lives.

I would like to know if Misty was ever in chat rooms. What is on her Myspace account. Nancy Grace aired the layout of the home…a computer monitor and desk located in the bedroom. Police must have taken the rest of the it for I didnt see it. Ronald cannot be charged in this case with sex with Misty a minor, but if he took pictures of Misty or any minor girlfriend. Then, that would be child porn…
Not sure what the law is in Florida of nude pictures of your child bride. Or the law on giving your child bride cigarettes and beer. Noiticed the other day that local gas station is back to asking age to buy cigarettes…So, who is supplying Misty her cigarettes…
Cobra, if you read this. What areas have been searched. Most pictures seen on media are all east of the trailer towards hwy 17. What about Buffalo Bluff West…at the end.
There is a road that goes back over the tracks and there are homes back in there. The area is heavily wooded. If a child was taken would you risk going down a hwy and chance the child being seen. Plus, if dogs tracks lead to water could have been by boat. Checkout an old fishermans camp on one of the seven sister islands. Not sure how to get to it…you might have to ask a fisherman. Plus, find out if the camera was on at that local gas station, and do they have a tape for that date…slight chance intruder might have stopped in there. For I think they are open all night. Plus, checkout the local Hermits Cove Marina down the road from Buffalo Bluff. Ask who worked that night at the bar…who was in that night…maybe someone saw something when they left the bar. Looking at google map. the woods behind the trailer could lead you to a road that runs next to the tracks…intruder could have parked vehicle there and walked through the woods…

I have followed this case since it broke :like the rest of you. If you take the time to read the interviews you would know that Crystal lost custody due to no job, no transportation, and admitting in court she had used cocaine. Crystal seems to be trying to overcome her past. Crystal has told the truth about her past and the use of drugs. What about Ronald? Common sense is if your approached by an investigative reporter you should know they already have the facts and supporting evidence. He has an arrest record of all different kinds of narcotics found in his possession. There is also evidence of the restraining order to not go near Crystal. He denies all accussations and as he puts on his truck ” ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME”. Oh believe me Ronald He is!!! Personal life and more. What has Ronald done to find his daughter? He got on the media several times to make a plea. The rest of the time he is out getting tattoos, wedding bands, restaurants eating as well as celebrating his extremely short engagement,Getting married to a little girl. Little girls do mind better. They are easier to control, manipulate and intimidate. At least Crystal is headed in the right direction in contacting the right sources to help find out what happened to her daughter. Perhaps someone should check how each parent is using the donated funds to find their daughter and when I say their daughter I do not mean Ron and Mistys’. Ron had only been with Misty for approximately 6 months or less! she has no rights, no place to even say those kids would rather be with her than their own mom. Everyone knows small children would rather have the parents reunite so they could be with both of them. Did they see Misty as a teenage playmate ;probably! Yes eveyone has a past but at least Crystal is admitting to it in the media. She has not stopped making pleas or taking action to find haliegh. You can read these comments and see she is recieving just as much bashing from the media and others, but she has not gone into hiding. GO CRYSTAL!!! this time you can do better than legal aide who had little experience.

She’s the one whose story keeps changing…I was watching Nancy Grace the night this story broke and when asked if Haleigh had been at school recently, she had NO idea!!!! What kind of mother can’t answer if their child was in school regularly? She also stated on that first night that she WILLINGLY gave Ron custody because she couldn’t stand the thought of them not seeing their father and then some horsesh*t about how she never got the letters about the court dates. SORRY! If you want custody of your child, you don’t wait on a piece of paper…you call the courthouse yourself and find out when the hearing is.
And lay off Ron & Misty…they do not deserve these attacks. This man is going thru hell looking for his daughter and then having to be crucified by people who are judging them because of their “status” in life.

Ronald & Misty, didn’t show a speck of tear, Saturday evening, 03-21-09 at the fair….BUT mother Crystal was preparing for a cookout, to thank the community on Sunday!! Seems to me, Crystal, has Haleigh put first…unlike her father, marrying Misty, going out getting tattoos, going to the fair….hmmmm Kathy does that sound like Ronald is putting Haleigh first??? As for the Susan Smith case…Crystal is nothing like she was! As a native from SC, I saw first hand the fakeness of Susan Smith! Crystal is doing wonderful, & she has thousands of supporters….maybe she isn’t shedding tears, because she has moved on & not focusing on herself & loss, BUT focusing on finding Haleigh!!!!!!!! Maybe, she don’t choose to get on national T.V. & focusing on HER loss… BUT on FINDING Haleigh!!!

I think Crystal is getting a bum rap. She was abused by Ron and scared of him. I heard him brag in one of the interviews that he got custody because he was a better provider. Poor Crystal seems to have no self esteem and didn’t know how to fight for her rights….
Ron and Misty are not being judged for their “status” in life. They are being judged by their behavior in this whole mess. Misty is constantly changing her story… Just watch the interview they had with that Greta woman. Misty is slumped down in her chair. She looks so tiny. She’s answering questions in a barely audible whisper. Ron is sitting next to her looking very annoyed at the way she is answering the questions. I think he even shakes his head at one point. It is just pitiful. Misty is another one with no self esteem. These type men prey on women (and teenagers) like that because they know they can control them.
Ron made up this story and grilled Misty on what to say….. These two are in it together. The marriage was a reward to Misty for not breaking down and spilling the truth. He is probably feeding her mind with BS about how rich and famous they are going to be in the end.
Poor Haleigh! May God bless her and protect her wherever she is!

First off opinions are like a**h***s everyone has one. No one but the person who took Haleigh knows what really happened to her. Everyone else is just speculating and forming their own opinions. I have been curious about something since this happened. Why do the children sleep in the same bedroom and their father and Misty? Do they not have their own room? I do also find it strange that she says the children were sleeping and then she went in to make the bed. You can not make a bed if a child is sleeping in it? It would be a different story if she had said she went in to put a blanket on them. But, she is young and uneducated and some people have different ways of saying things in the English language. She might have meant one thing but it came out wrong. (I know my husband is from the South and he says some strange things that don’t always make sense). Now to defend her; I frequently will use the hall bathroom instead of the master bathroom in the middle of the night so I do not wake my husband up. That is not anything unusual for someone to do. Also, with the light issue; I have a teenage son who will come home in the middle of the night and turn on the kitchen light which does shine through my bedroom and cook food while I am sleeping and I sleep right through it. So, it is not unrealistic that she slept through the child being taken. As with the cinder block issue; many mobile homes have leveling blocks that are underneath them. The abductor could have used one of these blocks to prop the door open so that when he was carrying Haleigh he wouldn’t have to reopen the door. Or as someone pointed out, Misty could have been socializing with friends and propped it open to keep an eye on the children or since there had been an A/C problem maybe she propped it open to get some air circulating through the house and is scared to say anything. There have been many children abducted from their homes where the parents had nothing to do with it. I do somewhat side with Crystal. She was young and naive when she let Ronald take the children for a visit in another state and that gave him the advantage to go to court in his state and seek custody. She should have shown up for her court hearings. I would have been calling the court house to find out when the hearing was myself and hitchiked if I had to get there. She might have been messed up at that time in her life (at least she is being honest and admitting that she had used drugs in the past; whereas Ronald is denying that he did). It sounds to me like she has tried to get her kids back before and she does appear to have reasons to suspect that her child/children are not having the best care. Judges just don’t like to remove children from their home. Perhaps now that she is getting the funds together to proceed again in a court of law things will go more in her favor. DCFS sounds like they have been involved because if you recall Ronald said he spanks them like DCFS says is okay. DCFS doesnt always remove children even if the household is not the best. Personally, I think the living situation the children were in is inappropriate with their dad living with a teenage girl and children basically sleep on the floor. I didn’t see a bed at all for Junior and they said he sleeps with them. That to me is rather strange. Judges will give children to the parent who has a job and place to live even if they are not necessarily fit. Because they do not always see the big picture or all of the little details and will rarely listen to your side of the story. I only hope and pray for everyone’s sake that they are telling the truth about what happened that night and that the child is quickly found. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone of this child’s family members and that God looks after them all.

This is reference to #56. Just a little insight and you can check out these facts. He went to the kangaroo express and emptied the donations on the counter and PAID for cigs, beer ,and 50.00 in lottery tickets and the elderly man behind him got angry and stated he would not donate another penny!!!!!! Check with Chilis when he refused to pay for the food he ate; just because he is Ron Cummings!Manager told him he did not care who he was!! I BELIEVE THE POLICE WAS CALLED ON THIS INCIDENT!! Go to the pawn shop where he purchased Mistys’ rings and here the story the lady there would tell you. Go to the Cheyenne Saloon where he was told he could no longer take the donations from there because he was mis-using the funds and now would be given to the Haliegh-Bug Foundation. These are actual facts;not mistruths. Crystal has a fiance and they have 1 child together. Her other two children are with Ronald.OOOOOPS!! NOT HALIEGH!! SHE IS GONE. I WILL NOT ACCUSE ANY WRONG DOING BECAUSE I DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HER, BUT I WILL SAY RONALD AND MISTY SEEMS TO BE HAVING A GOOD TIME WITH THESE FUNDS. LOOK AT THEIR ACTIVITY AT THE FAIR. THIS MONEY IS COMING FROM SOMEWHERE AND NOT SAVINGS OR HIS JOB. I DO BELIEVE CRYSTAL IS DOING ALL IN HER POWER TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT WITH THESE FUNDS TO FIND HER DAUGHTER AND I FEEL RONALD SHOULD BE DOING THE SAME THING. I BELIEVE IT IS TIME ART HARRIS OR SOMEONE NEEDS TO EXPOSE HOW EACH PARTY IS USING THESE FUNDS THAT ARE SUPPOSE TO BE USED FOR HALIEGH!!! Do you realize it took Misty 7 weeks to try to come up with a timeline. It don’t take 7 weeks to come up with the truth!! I guess she needs to be told what to say and it took her 7 weeks in order to memorize it!! It still don’t quite add up. If grandma was there at 7:00p.m. as she stated during a walk through of the Cumming home, She showed us that Haliegh was on her bed watching her favorite movie and it showed footage of the movie still in the dvd. Then Haliegh was in bed before 8:00p.m. Everyone needs to pray and put GOD in charge of this case and perhaps we can get the evidence needed to solve this disappearance.

I feel Crystal has come a long way and should be commended. People have to remember, Crystal was only 14 when she met Ronald. How much damage he did to her before she got the courage to leave. Concerned citizens went to her telling her all of the abuse aleigh and Jr. suffer at the hands of their father. Her actions are the actions of what any absent parent would be.

If you read the documents from the COURTS it says what drugs he was on what kind of dad he is.Also it says that he was driving HIGH ON METH and got in a car crash with Haleigh and JR in the car.Yeah thats a GREAT dad NOT!!!.
Also in the documents it says that Ron had the kids on a weekend at the time when Crystal and Ron broke up she had the kids Ron did NOT.It was his weekend to see the kids and he look off with the kids and went to Texas and didn’t come back from a long time.
Anyone who has done the crap Ron has done drugs takeing the kids out of state and not bring them back and doing god knows what and who has a mile long criminal record would be in prison.BUT Rons mom works for LE and the courts so you tell me who got custody of the kids fair,Cause it sure wasn’t Crystal.

On Nancy Grace they showed a video of the trailer in a walkthrough. In the video they clearly said that the outside storm door was the door that was propped open with the cinder block. The video also clearly showed that both of the doors automatically close. Also the inside door is a solid door with no windows. If the inside door was not propped open it had to have been closed. How then did Misty notice the door was open?

Anna, I wondered what 17 year old would want to take care of him as well and I wondered just how jealous she was of Haleigh. I wondered the same thing you did, but I also wondered how much she resented Crystal being her mother. Haleigh sure does look like her mom. It was obvious how much more attention Ron showed Haleigh over Roald. Poor kids.

I hope no one ever has a child go missing…..a foundation like Haleighbug would be established to help other families in case this happens. Jessica’s law was put in place to help others too. At least Crystal admitted to her “past” misdeeds with drugs, do you have any proof she’s still doing them? Do you? NO you dont! How would you feel if the father of your children took off and gave you “conditions” on which in order to see them and then blindsided you with taking “full” custody? how would you feel #1 having to only see your kids 4 days a month? And you had no resources to regain your rights as a mother? How would you feel not knowing where your two children where living because your ex, did not feel it was your business as to where he lived? How would feel if your childs father was shacked up with an underaged girl, who slept around and went out on 3 day binders and was in charge of your babies 24/7 and then got your child “stole”? You begrudge a mothers pain for your own selfish self rigtheous fullfillments dont you??? So over 3 years ago she admits to a judge that she did coke in the past…..get it the past. Stick to facts in this case people, what led up to Haleighs disappearence in the weeks/months prior is whats key here. Take your heads out from inside your rumps and listen with your hearts & think about this. Maybe she has every right to be concerned about what led up to this. Maybe people came forward and have inside info….LEO & FBI has not shares anything with the public, but ARE concerned enough to look into it. You only know what you’ve been handed and therefore youre letting frustration lead your common sense. I have already commented on my opinion of this case but just had to let others know. I saw a clip from a tv station down there about Crystal making a false police report. Not the one most of you are thinking about with coworker. This one where she told police Ron was watching Haleigh and she came back to find Haleigh face down in water and had to revive her. What a crock!

I find it odd that after we hear the mother of Haliegh, say “Ron had nothing to do with the children, I had them 24/7″ then Misty tells Art Harris the kids were with her 24/7. Makes mother look like she’s being honest. And she is the mother she has a right to go back to court to get JR, because it doesn’t seem safe there now. If she’s fit, let the judge decide. If my daughter was left with a child and went missing, I would not be as composed as miss Sheffield. Regardless of where JR ends up living down the road, I pray he gets to be with his sister again someday soon. My heart still aches for Caylee, and i’m praying the end is much happier.

In my opinion this is what I think I see and is only my opinion and thoughts. Here goes..Its clear to me that Both of Haleighs parents, Ron & Crystal love their daughter and son very much. They may be estranged but I can see their hearts breaking over and over. I’ve listened to the 911 call and it made my heart sink to hear that poor man franticly trying to find help for his little girl. Even then Misty, seemed distant. Her words to Ronald when she met him at the back door that night were “your daughter is gone”…not “Hailegh. I felt a cold shudder run down my spine. I think she took great delight in the Dad being terrified and seemed to love playing the “big shot” over the next few days, being the center of attention. She doesnt seemed worried one bit, except when she is givning her side of the story she goes into automatic cover her butt mode…thats when you see the tears flow and she makes sure to open her eyes with a look as if to say “are you buying this?” She’s not as smart as she thinks…nor are we dumb. She also looks pretty well wasted, and hung over. When she went to get the marriage lisence she bounced with glee without one thought of despair or grief over little Haleigh. She has shifty eyes and it just seems to always be about “her”, not the kids, except when mentioning how they think of her as mom…sure if it makes their life easier, queenie…they love to make people be happy & laugh….you can tell that from the pictures of the kids. As far as Haleigh and Ronald Juniors Mom, Crystal to me it seemed that In the beginning Crystal seemed to be in a daze, as if it still werent real and she was trying to wake up from a bad dream. I saw a picture of Ronald sitting down on his knees collapsed with his head on the ground and his face sobbing into his hands…Crystal was next to him and she had placed her hand gently on his back, trying to hold it together for herself and him. Its called compassion. They both have compassion, no matter how they feel on the surface, down deep they love their kids, and do have that bond.To me, they were 2 parents of a beautiful baby girl, trying prostagte with anguish on the groundMisty seems only to cry when its her butt on the line about whether people beleive her or not. I thought the focus was suppose to be on Haileigh. Misty is very jealous of Crystal. I think she is enjoying the pain and suffering its causing both Ron and Crystal. She thinks she can make it up to Ron, and replace Haileigh with another baby girl of her own…this time one that reminds him of her ( Misty) not Crystal. Theres only enough room for one “daddys girl” in Misty’s life. Listening to her interviews she acts like she deserves a medal for “being good to those kids” they “treat her lovely, just ask Junior, he will tell you.” Anywayzzz, I donot believe for a minute that Misty is being honest about pretty much anything…as far as people wondering why she would want the responsibility of being with a man with kids…well they came with the territory and she gets to play house, no timeclocks to punch, or rules to follow to keep a job…Ron works 12 hours a day. You do the math. Little kids will love anybody…they arent judgemental, just grateful. Maybe Misty was taking a shower to “clean up” before Ron came home, and then discovered a friend she had spent time with in the house that night had “helped her make Ron pay” to learn a lesson…or maybe she just was plain gone until few minutes before he came home. I think she may have put the block in the door herself as a cover up. I had a dream and saw Haileigh and some other people. I cant shake it. Alot of times my dreams come true. I plan on reporting it to the missing childrens hotline. My heart goes out to Ron and Crystal. I had 2 children as well. They became young adults. My son was killed as the result of a tragic accident he was a passenger in and died 2 days later. Although my husband, daughter and I cried practically constantly, I remember every morning waking up hoping it was just a horrible nightmare, only to realize it was real, and he was really gone, then the tears raged on…thats why I say that Crystal may be in shock and trying to be so strong. At the funeral, I tried to be strong for all of my family and my son Jake’s friends. I thought thats what he would want me to do and somehow it being the last labor of love I could do for him, while his body was yet on the earth, I made it through. My Dad & some of my family flew out more than 2000 miles to be with me, and my Dad held my hand all the way through…he was my rock and my strength that the Lord gave me so I could get through it somehow without dying right then and there. So all I’m saying about that is for you people to havwe more compassion on this poor family of this little girl Hailegh. They need your prayers and encouragement…there will be time later for scores to be settled so to speak. But please focus on this little tiny girl, this little angel HAILEGH. May GOD bless you and your family little Hailegh, and help those looking for you, to find you in time and bring you home safely. I pray somehow, you are being treated with gentleness by someone who cares and that you, your family & your little brother are comforted by family and the “great comforter”, the Holy Spirit. That HE would give you strength, and be your Rock, Fortress, Shield & Hope…your Deliverer and mighty Counselor. I would say to those that hope for you, don’t give up. This doesnt have to end like Caylee. I think little Hailegh is still alive somewhere and waiting to come home again. She has a Mommie & Daddy that love her and now the whole country too. Be safe sweet baby. This is my personal opinion of things I hear and see pertaining to this family and situations. I will continue to watch it on TV and now that I found this site as of today, will follow it too. Thank you for letting me contribute. I really hope people focus on this little child and not get petty or judgemental…leave that to the PI’s, and Police Dept. to do the great job that they are doing.

I would love to learn about some of your MISTAKES in the past!!! Is this just a bad video? This video looks like some pictures that I have seen regarding the faces of meth users, before using meth and after using meth. Lisa Croslin’s face looks like she is one of those affected abusers. She looks old, underweight and toothless. I won’t judge her on her looks but what she talks about did not impress me either. All she can do is verify what Misty has told her. Whatever she says doesn’t bear any weight with me. This is coming from a woman that obviously couldn’t raise Misty properly. She approved, gave her permission and allowed her teen daughter to quit school, live and sleep with an adult man and his two children and then marry him in the midst of a tragedy. God only knows what else she failed to do as a mother. I shutter to think. All these people seem to know is how to breed and multiply like rabbits. I can only hope that these people are too ignorant to know how to vote. JMO

#99 SUZY, no one knows how many tears Crystal has shed and if you can’t see what she is doing to help find her daughter, then something is wrong with your hearing.
I wondered how Ron was getting the money for all he has been buying and wondered if it was coming from the funds donated, but I didn’t think he had access to it. He needs to be arrested for this. What does #99 suzy think aboutthis one?
I pray Haleigh’s body is found soon and hopefully she won’t be to decomposed to find the cause of her death. This is what I am concerned about. It is safe enough to say that murder is what occured becuase we know it is not suicide or accidental.
Everyone that is posting here is concerned of Haleigh, but I also feel we know Misty and Ron are hiding the truth of what happened to Haleigh. There are a few people on here that must be like the two of them in order to defend them as they do. This case deals with pedophillia, drugs, abuse, and theft and whoever believes this is justifiable, then you seriously need to ask yourself how you can uphold this behavior from Ron and Misty.

Art, keep up the good work! When watching this video of Misty’s mom she mentioned a video Haleigh wanted to watch. We heard this from Misty, but Her mom added to it by saying something about Haleigh taking out one movie and putting a different one in. She said she must have done this while Misty was slepping. Perhaps it was actually done when Misty was not there.
I think Misty’s mom likes to entertain the media with her big mouth. This was obvious during one of them when Misty was being intervied. She kept talking in the bakground, but the cameras were not on her. I wonder just how much more she would add to the story if she was questioned more. For instance, what time was it when Misty called her? Does she know about the cover Misty said was in a van?
I also wonder how these kids had to live prior to Haleigh missing. Nancy asked Neves if there were clothes on the floor the night Haleigh went missing beause the pink shirt was. It held open the door is why Nancy asked. Neves said, she was ashamed to admit it, but there was clothes on the floor all of the time. If the home was not kept, it is possible Misty and Ron had drugs laying around and Haleigh could have gotten a hold of some during the time Misty was out and when she got home from where ever she was, she saw Haleigh thrown up and then passed out.
Did they check to see if Ronald got any calls from Misty when he was at work?
I feel like Misty and Ron are also reading these forums to prepare their answers for if they are questioned again. Misty once was asked if she had taken any medication or drank any alchohol that prevented her from hearing anything. She said no, but during another one after this one, she volunteered that she was exhausted is why she might not have heard anything.
I did get a good laugh on issues with I believe her name is Jane when she reported that the police are looking into Misty’s past seeing if there was any criminal past. One of her panelist said they wouldn’t find anything because of her being a minor and added, where are they going to look, Grade school?
I am upset with Nancy G. She does not want to see Ron as doing wrong, but if this were anyone else, she would drag them through the mudd. She is sooooo against pedophiles, but why not Ron being one? How does she feel it is alright for Ronald to get married while his daughter is missing? She needs to know how he took funds for he and Misty’s personal doings.

Debbie: first let me say I am sorry for your loss, as I too lost a child. But…your statement makes no sense. Ron is in on this, I can bet you. If he is guilty of nothing else, he is guilty of leaving his child with a woman he knows may leave them alone and on drugs.
I heard in the beginning , after about 3 days, they had to take Chrystal to the hospital because she refused to eat or drink. She has to funtion, she doesnt know if Haliegh is still alive. I went into shock at the funeral. It was only after everyone left, back to their normal lives, that I realized what happened.
But while Ron and Misty are at a fair indulging themselves, getting married with cake to eat, Chrystal wasnt eating.

A child is gone and another is still in the home with these people who call themselves Parents. I don’t believe for one minute Ron is a better parent. He just happend to have a job, the state would not have two more to support. He thinks the public is buying their story. Well I hope for one minute they are not. Why is no one saying anything about Misty’s background? What do we know about this 17 year old child bride? Did she finish school? Does she have a case history of drug abuse? Why would her parent(s) allow her to shack up with a guy with two kids? Something is very strange for her to say she loves the kids like they were her own. If they were, she’d have to have given birth when she was 12.
Not sure about the situation between Ron and Crystal, but this whole situation is really sick.

I find it very odd that Ron never says “Haleigh” – why is it always ‘my daughter’. All his pleas to ‘find my daughter’ – WTF – why isn’t he out there, sunup to sundown, organizing searches, and indeed searching for ‘his daughter’ himself. Misty – don’t get me started. She just turned 17 in December – is that right? So – she’s been living with Ron since she was 16 – disgusting. She personifies the term high school drop out. All the posters, and Nancy Grace (shudder) who find fault with bio mom’s actions and reactions? Excuuuuse me – Ron is the one who was getting tattoos and marrying a child. If the reports are to be believed, that Ron comes in to local stores and gas stations and empties out the containers from the “Find Haleigh” fund and buys cigs, beer and lottery tickets with the money- RUFKM? Why isn’t this reported? Misty’s answers on Art’s interviewed are too sing-song – it’s as if she’s reciting a recipe by rote ‘and then take two eggs and beat them’…not like a real interview where one would pause and compose answers or relay emotion. Rehearsed. Her mother’s appearance just screams “METH HEAD” – why would anyone that young (under 40) be toothless and bone thin unless it was drug induced? Those poor children – raised by trash. Has nothing to do with where one lives – it’s all based on character and morals, or lack of.

Gayle, I heard about Crystal having to go to the hospital as well. She didn’t want to eat not knowing if Haleigh was eating. No one knows much about Crystal and how she may have broken down because she only cared about finding Haleigh. She is the only one that I can see so far that has told the truth.
Ron and Misty say they took the polygraph test and they was told they passed which this was a lie. When Crystal was asked if she took one and did she passed, she said she did take one, but they didn’t tell her the results.
I feel Ronald and Misty have watched a lot of Nancy Grace or something to know enough not to ignore the media and to talk then people will feel you are innocent if you speak to them. Ronald also knew that if you cry histerically then people would say no way did he kill her.
In the police report, Ronald said his dumb bitch allowed his daughter to get stole. He is the one to put her as a piece of property.
During the 911 all, the dispatcher had to ask the most of the questions twice because Misty was paying more attention to what Ronald was saying in the back ground. I feel Ronald hung up on them twice so he could get more information from Misty before the police arrived. He knows the procedure of the dispatcher that he didn’t have to behave the way he did with her.

Art, I was wondering about the school and the DFC. The school is suppose to report suspected child abuse, but I don’t feel half the time they do, but if this is required of them, then would they have to report a child having sex with an adult? The same with the DFC, when they went to the home, why didn’t they see this as a crime. Misty is a child, so why did they report this to the police?
Also, kids sometimes tell their friends what they do and the ones they tell do not tell others because they don’t see anything wrong. I wonder if Haleigh might have hinted to some of her friends different things that take place in her home. I wonder if some of these kids she played with were asked if they missed Haleigh and the games they played, what they would say.

If one of my babies was missing due to some mystery person having taken them from my home you sure as hell wouldn’t find me at no fair .. I’d be the crazy woman on the TV threatening a blood bath if my child wasn’t returned ASAP ..Please stay away from Wal-Mart .. I’ve heard alot of speculation that Misty may have snuck out to get high the night Haleigh went missing, but has anyone considered that Misty may have been drugged BY someone? Consider this: A. Misty has friends over
B. Misty goes out to meet friends
In either case, it is possible that maybe someone gave Misty something that was tampered with to knock her out also OR slipped something in her soda when she wasn’t looking. That does happen, and that would account for her confusion. It also makes sense, as the entire family seems genuine IMO. I personally think whoever took Haleigh has been in that trailer before, but I don’t believe the family has anything to do with her abduction. Looks to me like Misty was used to keep the attention off the real perp. That’s just MY gut feeling, speaking as a parent & grandparent…myself…I believe a 17yr. old SHOULD be able to babysit a 4 & 5 yr. old. I don’t understand why Misty wasn’t in school herself, but as far as the babysitting goes, I have left my four kids w/teenage babysitters when they were young w/o any problems. Also, the guy Misty was with the weekend before the abduction, Greg, I heard that Ron went to bring Misty home, he obviously knew where to find her, could she have been there to purchase drugs for her & Ron both, stayed over to party & there was no sex involved? If that is the case, think about it. Would you really think they would get on national TV & say that Misty was sent to Greg’s for drugs? Of course not. As for the quick wedding, my thoughts on that are they were trying to avoid OTHER charges like rape, etc.& the fact that Misty herself wasn’t being taken care of & in school. Just curious if anyone else has been thinking along these lines.

I have said the same thing from the time that walk through was shown.. Also, knowing what you saw, now imagine a pile of dirty clothes on the floor infront of the washer. How, would anyone not have trouble with that door if clothes are lying right there. When the door would open, it would either stop at the pile or push the pile back.. Pile would not be setting there when LE arrived. That trailer is unlevel. That door will not remain open again until someone goes under the trailer and resets the blocks it setting on.

This past week, it appears there is silence from the LE and from the Families. I am sure that LE is working just as earnestly trying to find Little Haleigh. Many tid bits have shown up. The bruising on Haleigh’s right arm, from a photo produced and encourage to post online, I think that was an oversite by ron and family. The information that misty had previously been dancing in a local strip bar?? 16.. What the? The admissions of a drug, sex and party weekend.. The open statements of fighting between ron and misty.. Rumors of pregnancy.. I am an open minded person on many issues, and can understand many things. But, what in the heck was a 16 year old child doing dancing in a strip bar.. Where was her Mother??? It certainly isn’t the same world I grew up in.
If I had advice for misty, I would tell her.. you are digging a hole, you will not get out of.
Le will find out everything and there will be no breaks. Marriage will mean nothing while you are in prison. Your infant if you are pregnant will probably not stay with ron, or his family, nor your family. The child, if all is right in this world, will be in the system. At least will have a tad of a chance of growing up normally. If your mother cared for you, she would stop trying to play attorney for you.. And if by chance she is part of this game your playing, she too will have a hard road to toe.. No one, is going to get out of this mess you guys have created. If you are foolish enough to think you won’t go to prison, sad day of waking up will come. I give you my word.. Somebody is going to Prison.. And somebody will start talking..
I have a few more questions? What does Crystal owing child support have to do with Haleigh Missing? What does Crystal past have to do with Haleigh Missing? What does Crystal’s relationship with Chad? Being a new Mommy? Wanting to gain custody of her son? What does any old police reports on Crystal have to do with Haleigh missing? One must remind those who stand on a platform and point fingers at her. Haleigh was not in Crystal’s home, the night she disappeared. Let’s face reality.. For those who stand and defend misty or ron.. if you were ever present when any harm came to these children, you have a moral and legal obligation to come forth and tell the Le everything you know. You remember the old terminology of a snow ball rolling down hill. It only gets bigger, and collects more debris as it rolls, and when it hits. Oh my gosh.. If I were any of you, that knows anything about Little Haleigh gone missing, don’t walk, run as fast as you can to the nearest LE Office. This will NEVER Go away.. NEVER..

All the post here are very good…if the cops would read some of these post that may give them some new ideas.
At the very beginning of this case, I had a bad feeling about Misty. This is my point of view: I do not think Misty left the home the night Haleigh went missing. I think that Misty put the block at the back glass door and unlocked the dead-bolt for a male friend to come in. I have a feeling that Haleigh must have seen something she shouldn’t have seen so, in-order to keep Haleigh from telling her Dad, the male friend took Haleigh to dispose of her. Sounds logical to me…..and very sad.
What do you all think?
