He didn’t rent a limo, but sources tell The Bald Truth Haleigh Cummings father, Ronald, had his white pickup nice and shiny on his wedding day Thursday in Satsuma, Florida.
He was scheduled to tie the knot in a private ceremony, marrying girlfriend Misty Croslin, 17, who was babysitting his five year old daughter, Haleigh, the night she was apparently snatched from his double wide a month ago in the pre-dawn darkness.
As more than 100 law enforcement searched up and down Highway 17 for clues in Putnam County, Ronald and Misty were busy with wedding plans, and Haleigh’s mother, Crystal, 23, was scouring the county with a private investigator, William Staubs, aka Cobra, looking for clues into her daughter’s disappearance, sources tell The Bald Truth.

Maybe I’m jaded but I think the girlfriend/wife knows where this kid is and this comment (from CNN story) convinces me even more:
“Croslin, who was beaming earlier in the week after the engagement, told CNN affiliate WJXT-TV that while she knows there will be critics about the marriage and the timing, “everything is still about Haleigh.” ”
“Everything is STILL about Haleigh”? Of course it’s still about Haleigh – the kid is missing. This comment shows a bit about her personality. And with this comment I am becoming more convinced the girlfriend, now wife, knows where Haleigh is.

Only one reason for two people to get married when there is a missing child involved and that is to have the advantage of not being forced to testify against each other as husband and wife when charges are eventually brought against one or the other of these two. John T: you are sadly misguided in your reasoning. Marriage does not preclude a person from testifying against their spouse for acts committed prior to the marriage and it also does not preclude testimony regarding abuse of the spouse or of that of a child. So much for that theory…

I find this “slogan” on Ronald C. rear window very disturbing. I have heard this said twice in recent months. First,verbatim by accused spree killer of 8, Nicholas Sheley in an interview from jail, and the next time not those exact words but the exact jest of the words, Nicholas Sheley’s wife Holly in another interview from her jail cell. This doesn’t “mean” that R.C. is guilty of anything but I must say it gave me chills when I saw that.

Maybe they got married because Haleigh’s birth mother is now going to try and get custody of Junior. I am not sure about now, but living together and not being married was frowned upon by a judge when you were fighting for custody. Maybe they believe it “looks better” to be married now, especially if they are about to have a custody fight. Just a though……

Looking at the decal on the back of the truck tells me Ronald has to have the last word, which means,,,he is a control freak, and has anger issues!!!!! That makes me worry for little Haleigh even more. My the way Ronald,,,did you pay for that decal with your own money, or did donations to find Haleigh pay for it? Not only should she stay in the limelight, but the money for her to be found should be put to that use. What else are you going to buy?
I hope you and Misty can’t buy your way out of what you have done,,,with donated money.

I watch Nancy Grace also. Why hasn’t anyone said any more about the 3 cadavier dogs hitting on the dumpster? Those dogs are trained for only that smell. I think also that they married to keep their “secret”. And now Junior has a mommy, so they think Crystal won’t get him.

One question I have is, since the child has missed a months worth of school, wasn’t the school required to report that to someone ? Regaurdless that she has Turner Syndrome or not, that’s alot of school to miss just in that amount of time ! And you can’t tell me no one in that school ever noticed this extreme bruising on this child, other then just the cut on the nose !
This is simply ridiculous ! The Department Child Protection and Family Services have removed children from their homes for less then this, WHILE they conduct a THOROUGH investigation, not just a walk through Q&A type thing.
I mean Ronald is known for and has shown his quick and vicious temper, Look at when Geraldo went to interview him, granted Geraldo may have “pushed” some issues, but if Ronald was not guilty of them, there was no need to get THAT mad now was there ? I thought he was going to punch Geraldo at one point. Then his backwoods “hillbilly” friends and family acted like they wanted to attack Geraldo.
Sure if I had something to “hide” I would have gotten as upset as Ronald did, but if you’re innocent, they just stay calm, and set the record straight !!
Ronald Cummings is an illegal drug user,which will only enhance his violent temper,which is a medically known fact that he is suppose to take legal medication for.
Those bruises on that poor little girl, are not consistant with a “fall on the play ground”, if that were the case,as it was stated in the story, there would have abrasions on her hands, to try to stop the fall.
When the comment is made “She just falls alot” is used, 9 out of 10 times you can be sure the child is being abused!
And the bruises on her little brother are consistant with being hit with a branch. Ronald claims he punishes within the law, beating your child with a “switch” is No longer legal my friend !!
I am in the medical field,and I also work with the child advocates, and if I was in the state of Florida, Ronald Cummings would have NO children in his home until every thing was proved proof positive !

If it’s all about Haleigh than why in the world would you even be thinking of marriage at a time like this? I am a single mother of four beautiful children and that would be thet last thing on my mind if I didn’t know where my child is. Not to mention marrying someone who is not ruled out as a suspect!! What is wrong with some people? And than Misty says thats what Haleigh would want!? Wouldn’t you think that Lil Haleigh would want to be there? Why not foccus on the missing child and than worry about marriage? Poor Haleigh.. My thought and prayers are with you every day.

I have done alot of investigation myself on this case. Also on the Police report Klassend posted it says the deputies arrived at the house code 3 lights and sirens at 3:40 am in the police report misty said she got up to get a drink of water just before 3 am and Ron returned home about 5 mins later. He says as soon as he got home he told Misty to call 911 which would have been no later than 3:05 am according to Ron’s acct. So what happened in the 35 mins from 3:05 Am and 3:40 am? Also I have this info as well
now my 2 cents worth
I just wanted to say that I have read the court order giving Ron Custody of the kids. The only difference between the Bio Mom and Bio Dad is that he had a job for 3 months and she had lost hers because she went from GA to Fl to visit the kids. He would not let her leave the Palatka area with the kids even after he had taken them to Mexico and Texas for almost a month and she lost her job over the fact she could not go to work.
Also under Oath the Dad said all of his previous arrests for Drugs etc was way back in 1999 and should not be considered however I found his arrest report he was given custody of the kids only 4 months after being arrested on DRUG Charges and was on Probation when he lied under oath saying he had not been arrested when actually he had been arrested several times since 1999 he was arrested in possesion of Marijuana over 20 grams, Herion, Cocaine, Drug Paraphanalia, Opiates other than heroin, pure Opium and several other Drug related offenses. He lied on Nancy Grace when he said he had never been convicted that is not true he plead No Contest and received a lighter sentence in a plea agreement with the State so they did not have to spend money bringing him to trial. He Girlfriend now Child Bride has changed her story many times and on the Today Show when Meredith Viera asked Misty why she had changed her story so many times she was silent looked up at Ron and when he said nothing she said I don’t know. I don’t know. I am all for equality when it comes to the custody and Child Support of Children but this Man shows Classic signs of being a Abuser of Women I should know been there more times than I can count. He also admitted on National TV that he has dated many Teenagers. Not normal behavior for a Man.
Just my 2 cents for what it’s worth. I commend Crystal for opening the foundation to try to find her daughter and to try to get custody of JR for now to protect him. 1 Child is Missing already.
Also why is so many chastising Crystal for opening this Foundation, when on the very day Ron married his Child Bride the police were out searching a new area for his daughter. If it was one of my kids i would not worry about getting married I would worry about helping with the search.
Also on Nancy Grace the other night when Ron’s Mom said the Cousin was there did anyone notice Ron whispered to his Mom the Cousin was not there? Also the first TV interview Dad gave did anyone notice the big band-aid on the back of his neck. Lastly but certainly not least why would a Man whose Daughter went missing while she was being watched by his Girlfriend marry said Girl Friend without any resolution to what actually happened to his daughter. I sure wouldn’t. Wait not done yet. Also when Nancy Grace asked Ron about Misty being absent from the house that night she said has that been proven or dis-proven. He said he was not 100% that it had been dis proved but he was pretty sure she had not gone anywhere. Hello anyone watching his interviews? He keeps throwing Misty under the bus why Marry her if you are going to say I don’t know Miss Nancy I wasn’t home I was at work.
Also Ron’s Mom works for a Judge in Putnam County.
That could be the reason he only got Probation when he was busted with all those Drugs instead of prison time. Also the reason he could have gotten custody of the kids.
Also DCF been called to the home and they were still “Giving Services to the Home” When Haleigh went missing.
Has anyone noticed that this case with Haleigh being stolen out of her bed in the middle of the night, How similar it sounds to the case of Little Jessica Lunsford? The Media Coverage of that of Casey Anthony?
I think they need to arrest Misty for impeding an investigation since she has changed her story so many times.
Also in the Police Report and on the 911 tapes Ron kept saying “They” being the key word here stole my baby. He also referred to Misty in the Police Report as my Bit&h A$$ Girlfriend. And the other night on Nancy Grace he said Please bring my Daughter back “It is time to bring her home” Ron’s Mom says ” I know Haliegh is still alive” because the Dogs have not found her body. All of this is key information.
When Ron and Misty appeared on the Today Show His arms were crossed and his legs shaking. Misty kept holding her head down and when they talked both of them looked down and to the left. Classic signs of someone that is Lying. They had gotten Married the day before and they were supposed to be a loving couple but they were not holding hands nothing they seemed like Brother and Sister sitting there.
Another key phrase Misty and Daddy got married just like you wanted. What’s with that?
Taking the Family to Chili’s for Dinner, Misty’s Diamond engagement ring. Hello my Money whether Donated or Saved Money would be going towards the efforts of finding my child. I would be eating Ramen Noodles and Mac N Cheese not Chili’s.
Also Ron said that he bought new locks and installed them when he moved in because he did not want anyone to have a key to his home because ” He didn’t want something like this to happen” again got to question that phrase.
He also stated he was the only one with a key to his home Misty did not even have a key. Why would your Girlfriend not have a key to her own home.
This home is a 3 bedroom 2 bath Double wide why was the 2 kids sleeping in Daddy and Misty’s bedroom and not in their own rooms?
The first story Misty gave on 2-12 Was Haleigh had gotten up to go to the bathroom and when she did not come back Misty went to look for her. Toilet again 5 feet away from where Haleigh was sleeping.
The next Story Misty said was that she herself had gotten up to go to the bathroom then noticed Haliegh Missing.
Then she said she woke up and Haleigh was missing she searched the whole house then Ron came home and she told him. Then it was she called him on the phone. Then Ron said she was standing in the Front Door and when he asked why she was not in bed she told him. Then Ron said she was calling him as he was pulling in the driveway.
Well that is all I have to say for now. I will have more to come as soon as I investigate some more.

I live in Florida and my son fell asleep on the School Bus and when he got to school he had a red mark on the side of his face. 7 days earlier I had popped him in his mouth for calling me an F’in B but he had gone to school for 5 days no marks I did not slap him I used my fingers and popped his mouth. My son has ADHD and the Teacher did not want him in her class anymore. When he got to school she called DCf and told them to hurry up and come before the mark goes away. They got their and asked him had I hit him. He said she popped me in the mouth like a week ago. They took my kids from school without contacting me so when the bus did not arrive I called the School. The School told me the bus had gotten a late start and they would be home soon. When I got a copy of the alleged abuse report it said my son had and I quote” What seemed to appear to refelct to possibly be a handprint on the side of his face” They kept my kids for 6 months until my atty finally got a deposition with him and asked him did your mom slap you he said no she popped me in my mouth and he told my atty why I had and he said well did anyone else slap you and he said no and then my atty asked well how did your face get so red and my son said because I fell asleep on the school bus. i was made to jump through hoops for a red mark that did not even last an hour. Spent Thousands of Dollars on an atty and Parenting Classes the whole nine yards. Finally the Judge agreed the Children should have never been taken. The DCF worker that took my kids was 23 years old fresh out of College and had only been a Social Worker examining cases on her own for 45 days. Out of 100 Families she went to interrogate suspected abuse she removed 97 kids in 45 days. In the State of Florida the Staue says that you may use Corporal Discipline on your child so long as you Spank them not beat them on their butt and they do not have a mark that lasts longer than 24 hours. I should know they removed my kids again in 2001 because I tried to commit suicide because I was depressed in an abusive relationship and I had no Friends or Family as I had been cut off from them and DCF took my kids even though I worked 3 jobs had an immaculant house that I had lived in for nearly 1 1/2 yrs. My kids were well provided for with clothes, beds, toys the whole nine yards. I had so much food in the houses i had it in boxes stored up in the pantry to refill the pantry. i was not on any Public Assistance nor was I getting Child Supoort from the Bio Dad. Instead of offering me services and helping me to get my kids home they kept making me re do the same Case Plan over and Over again. I always completed what I needed to do but they never conducted home studies, allowed me visits, would not return my calls, at one point they lost my kids in the system for 2 months. Finally again I had to hire an ATTY after 4 1/2 yrs of a State issued Atty that would not call me back and the countless emails letters I wrote to the DCF Secretary the Governor etc… I was on the Front page of the newspaper several times and then poof the next day a visit was made for me to see my kids. They told my kids i did not love them, I had abandoned them and that was why they were not getting visits. They went so far as to try to Terminate my Parental Rights i again spent Thousands of Dollars like 50,000 we had to mortgage the house my new husband and I to pay for it and I won as i was able to prove the State was the ones holding up my case not me. I can not sue the Dept they are Protected against Civil suits under the Child endangerment Laws. I do not defend my actions of trying to kill myself. i was depressed. But this State is wacky on how they handle cases. They take the kids from homes they do not need to be taken from and leave the kids in the homes being abused. It all depends on the worker you have and how Silver Tongued you are with them. I knew a person that had 17 Marijuana Plants and Crack Cocaine taken seized from her home with her Minor Children in the Home. Not a friend a neighbor and the State investigated that home. it was filthy their were roaches everywhere hardly any food in the cabinets and they kept the kids in that home with an abusive alcoholic father in the residence. In my personal opinion, I think the dad is a low life.. Anyone who can get married while their child is missing needs serious help.. And I have no doubt in my mind that the so called step mom had something to do with it.. I mean who in the hell can sleep through someone coming in the house and taking a child.. CPS? Thats a joke. My daughter, never had a conviction, not even a speeding ticket, was going to lose her children to her alcholic husband because of a guardian ad litem that was being paid off I am sure.
I started rattling some cages. I didnt care what it took. Well she got custoday and he got every 2 weeks visitation. Guess what? You guessed it, he hasnt picked the kids up in 18 months. Go figure. AND he had 3 domestic violence of which one he pleaded guilty. Courts are fair when you rattle their cages.

I think the way Nancy and some of her quest minimized the injuries on the children is very sad.Their attitude toward the bio-mom and the way they are trying to make her the bad person is also taking away from the hunt for the Haleigh. I bet if it were one of her children injured, she would leave no stone unturned until she got her facts and do whatever she needed to do to protect her children.

Didn’t the truck have “GRAVEDIGGER” on the window when Haleigh first was REPORTED missing? There is a white truck in one of the search videos with Gravedigger and it looks the same. Ron’s mother working for a Judge explains a lot. Like no time in jail for repeated drug offenses, no jail time for hunting deer with lights or for assaults or anything else. I didn’t realize his Mom was educated enough to work in the court system. Someone will come forward and tell that Ron did it. It won’t be Misty Croslin/Cummings because I don’t think she knows por sure that he came home and got the little girl.

I live in the same county as the cummings; and I have a relative that lives 5 miles from where Haleigh went missing. I have two theories of what might have occurred. 1. Someone hurt Haleigh, either intentionally or accidently; before Ron went to work. Everything seems staged.
2. Misty was cheating on Ron with someone, and got caught by haleigh. Misty knew that Haleigh would tell Ron; and Misty is scared of Ron. They disposed of her.
Some relatives that work in Palatka have said that Ron has been flashing hundred dollar bills,and spending money like water. He was seen getting some heavy duty medications, that he has been on for a long time. Rumors of meth and crack use have been rampant.
I just pray for a miracle that this child will be found alive, but it does’nt seem likely.

Thank you Latishia! I also have worked in this field…many people who have never worked with abuse victims,be it a child or a woman or girl, cannot make educated observations. Just as we cannot speak of what “we would have done if it had been MY child”. This case is more complex than we know.
I think that the police and investigators are giving these folks enough rope, and enough time, to hang themselves. I hope for the child’s sake, and the child still at home, that this gets resolved soon. My prayers are for the child to be found ALIVE.

Gayle I dont understand why you say Ron killed her did you not see the part where HE WAS AT WORK and it was confirmed that he was by his boss. I dont feel that he had anything to do with what has happened to Haleigh. The picture I saw of Haleigh looks like it could have been from a fall at school. If the school thought there was aything going on they would report it and The Department Child Protection and Family Services said that in thier opition there was no abuse. I also dont understand why everyone takes so much stock in what the Bio mom says she wasnt around the children enough to know anything about what goes on. If she thought there was abuse as she said she should have done something. If I thought my children were being abused I would move heaven and earth to get them out even if it meant just taking them.

I too got the chills by the decal on the back of the truck. Last time I saw that was when a convicted murderer in our town stood in front of the judge for his LIFE sentence. He had that same thing written on the back of his prison jumpsuit with black marker or paint. He was convicted of using a sword to decapitate (or nearly) his co-worker.
If EVERYONE is a suspect still – why isn’t little Ronald Jr. in the custody of the STATE???? For his protection – I mean it could be ANYBODY in either family – so get him outta there! GEEZ

And have they looked into the juvenile and school records of Misty Croslin? I would bet she has been a pathological liar her entire life. Her mother looks like she has done a few pipes full of crack or meth too in her day.
Ronald admitted on-air that he has “dated” several teen girls besides Misty. What the hell? Doesn’t that raise any suspicions there? Is that the only women he can get to date him? It’s all convoluted.

Sorry but I am not buying that 911 call. And who in their right mind would wait until their boyfriend got home to call 911? Too much info on washing blankets and such. Haleigh had peed the bed. What a group of disfunctional people in this on going saga of the abduction of this sweet girl!! This teen age bride,Misty,should have a normal teen age life,and attending school. She can barely string two sentences together. She will live to regret her life choices. Where are her parents??? Law enforcement should be asking some hard questions concerning her!! She is the key to this whole investigation!! What a sorry couple getting married and I think the dad isn’t totally with out doubt either. Leaving his children with this low functioning teen ager is totally criminal. I don’t think the WHOLE TRUTH will be forthcoming for a long time. If ever!!I hope law enforcement doesn’t bungle the whole investigation.

Ronald and Misty, both appear to be heavy duty drug addicts.I think Ronald knows who has his child and why they have her. I think he either stole drugs, didn’t pay his drug dealer or SNITCHED ON THE WRONG DRUG DEALER, and they took his child for revenge. As for as Misty goes, she knows exactly what happened to Haleigh, she chooses to stand by her man with all her lies. She has the exact body language, and the look in her eyes say, SUSAN SMITH. I’ll never forget the look in her eyes when she was pleading for her babies to be brought back home.The same look Misty has in her’s.

NO GAYLE Im not related to any of them I just pay attention to what is said on the Nancy Grace show as well as Janes show. Im not saying that I beleive everything that Ron and Misty are saying but I sure dont think that Crystal is Mother of the year. NO mother would leave their children in a home when they think abuse is going on and thats what she did. I have seen alot of your posting as well and are you related to the bio mom you sure defend her alot when she is worse for leaving her children in what she called an abusive home.

I have no clue if Misty is involved and I truly do not want to accuse her. However, when I watched her very first appearance on TV, the first thing that came to mind was Susan Smith. I knew immediately when I saw Susan Smith “attempting to cry” that she was involved in the disappearance of her children. And when I watched Misty I had the very same impression. I just have to wonder if Misty possibly lost control and injured Haleigh, OR if Hayleigh fell ill and Misty assumed she was dead and panicked and removed her from the home. I believe that Ron may possibly suspect this as well and this is the reason he married her; If Misty is guilty but is never charged and leaves the area, then he knows all hope of finding Hayleigh is gone.

dlpmas…….Once again, read your information. Chrystal has been fighting for the children. She, along with another girlfriend has reported abuse to the CFS. She has been fighting for them. No one is listening. Well I bet they do now. Do I think she is a perfect mom? NO. Was I a perfect mom? NO. Is anyone on this board a perfect mom? NO. But , she grew up some it looks like. No, I dont know her. I just think big mouth NG gave her a bum rap and her side deserves to be heard with out big mouth NG interrupting and degrading her. We all had a bad past at some point (dont lie, you did stuff wrong too), but then we grow up. I respect your opinion. ANd……guess what? I could be wrong.

If I were king for a day and I had one wish neither Ron or Misty would ever be allowed bring more kids into this world. Enough. The cycle has to be broken and this is a good place to start. Just look at the parents and the famlies of these kids. Say maybe someone knows the answer to this. I thought I read where Nancy Grace is going to be facing some legal troubles concerning the Caylee Anthony case. Maybe it was for another case but I swear I read where there could be some legal trouble for her.

I can’t figure out why someone don’t check out the cousin of Misty.. That little girls body was put in the dumpster that 3 cadaver dogs hit on and then later removed b/4 the 911 call was made.. Some one was called to remove the little body and take it somewhere for a buial.. this little child was killed by her father b/4 he went to work, was put into her bed to make all that came in, think she was sleeping and when the coast was clear Misty propped the inside door open with that pink shirt and the outside door open with the cinder block so she could get back into the house after putting this body in the dumpster.. Why else did these 3 dogs hit on the same dumpster in the same place.. have them go to the cousins car and see if they too hit there..

When was the last time Haleigh was last seen alive by someone? I think something happened to her long before the father left for work that day. I also think she was placed in the dumpster & then removed before the 911 call was made. Wasn’t that call made a half hour after the father got home? Something’s not right….what a family !!!!!

Gayle…. NO one is saying that when we were younger we didnt do things wrong as you said we all have. I guess my main problem with the bio mom is that she could have fought for the children without going on tv to do it. All it has done was take time away from finding haleigh. The media should be reporting strickly on that not the bio mom and certainly not Ron’s marriage this isnt the time for all the adults drama its about finding this poor missing child. Thats just my opition and Im sorry if I have upset you with my postings.

Can anyone understand why Teresa Neves says she got Haleigh off bus day she went missing yet Ronald said he got her from bus stop and went on and on about her loving on him and saying she loved him and would see him after work..I have watched both videos to be sure I was not mistaken and Im not does anyone in this family know how to spell TRUTH..I think not what would be the reason for that lie,I forgot to check whose interview was first Im betting grandmas and Ron was saying he picked her up from bus to make himself out to be dad of the year..Any thoughts on this..Prayers be with Haleigh,Crystal and Ron Jr….Sorry I cant include Ron and Misty,I can not stomach either one of them…

Okee dokee…. now they are married. How quaint. In the meantime, LE has gathered forces and doing more ground searches again besides removing a door that I would assume has been cleaned and has acquired a few added media fingerprints. More tips from the tip-line with approximately 400 from psychics. Crystal has a lawyer in regards to Jr. and most of the bloggers continue to attack Crystal and her family. I can’t help but loathe the rumors going on. One in particular has me a bit miffed. A few days ago I posted a possible theory as to what gramma was referring to when she said that something belonging to Haleigh was missing from the home, something that she always has with her. Grandma was quick to say that she did not know if LE removed that item or if it was simply missing along with Haleigh. My possible theory was that perhaps Haleigh’s medication and/or inhaler was not there. Those items might be what gramma was referring to. If Haleigh’s meds were in fact missing then either LE took them into evidence (which would be logical), they may be found where Haleigh is found or perhaps Ron just didn’t have any on hand. This was just my theory and not in any way a fact as I pointed that out in the form of a question to some “Fox” bloggers. Now one of the bloggers continues to rant that Haleigh’s meds are the missing item and treats it like a known fact. This is a lesson to me as to how rumors are formed. SIGH!!!! JMO
