McCains “Straight Talk” With ET’s Mary Hart

ET’s Mary Hart with political producer/correspondent Art Harris
By Bald Truth Staff, (c) www.artharris.com, all rights reserved
SEDONA, Arizona, Oct. 5–As storm clouds moved in over the stunning red rocks of the high desert, Mary Hart Saturday scored a rare sitdown and a little straight talk with Sen. John and Cindy McCain as he took a break from debate prep to share what really thinks about running mate Sarah Palin and her joust with Sen. Joe Biden, his tift with comedian David Letterman, Barack Obama and more.
As ominous storm clouds moved in, Entertainment Tonight’s legendary news show anchor faced the McCains on a neighbor’s porch overlooking a swift mountain stream. Sharon and Ollie Harper, longtime personal friends, offer their beautiful home as a studio set for visiting crews, and they were gracious hosts.
Everyone wore jeans and a smile as they sat face to face on a neighbor’s porch by a swift mountain stream near the cabin the McCains use as a retreat from Presidential campaign politics.
As the the rain came, the interview rolled on–and will roll out Monday and Tuesday on Entertainment Tonight.
More on what it was like to meet the McCains in the mountains later, but they are warm and charming in person, and posed for a souvenir shot with Mary, congratulating her on receiving an industry lifetime achievement award from the Good News Foundation, before opening up about life and politics.

Art,
I do want to thank you for allowing us to put our views and the truth here. I also think that if Obama gets into the White House, no one will be allowed to state anything that differs from him and that scares the devil out of me.
I just wish you would put some things on here about him. We aren’t asking for anything but the truth, that’s all.
Thanks again Art and I hope we will never lose this freedom of speech along with other freedoms that so many men and women have died for in fighting for those freedoms. Those lives lost, don’t mean a thing to Obama, not one thing.
I’m sure to some readers, it sounds like a few of us are ranting and raving about nothing, but we have been unearthing things that have actually happened and are happening and to some of us at least, what we’ve found, is very frightening and everyone should be very afraid if Obama gets in. Sometimes I’m almost afraid to say some of the things I’ve said for fear that people will think I’m some raving lunatic, but then I think, no, I just can’t sit and do nothing about what is happening in this country. At least I’ll know I and a few others have tried to get through to all the kool-aid drinkers. The only problem is, that once you have drunk that kool-aid, you turn into an Obama zombie and are lost forever.

I don’t know about that joni IMO we lost our rights or at least most of them right after 9/11 when bush pushed tru the homeland security issue where they can listen in and read your emails ect without any reason. That scares me more than anything. We have already lost to much and I don’t think the FBI,CIA,DEA or homeland security will ever give them back as long as they can keep people scared

The DOUBLE-TALK express has landed in Keating’s backyard. John McSame will wish he never started throwing mud. Wait until they release his file from Hanoi. He sang like a canary. This is why he refuses to let the nation see his record. A real hero doesn’t HIDE the truth.

Joni, wake up and smell the roses and quit drinking all that kool-aid.

October 7th, 2008 at 7:01 pm
Joni, now you seem like you are apologizingLOL
Believe me we are the real saints compared to the kind of debate that goes on on the Obama blogs.
Art knows he can ban me. So I am still here at his risk.
Art as a journalist can investigate everything we have said on here and he will find it to be true.
October 7th, 2008 at 9:47 pm
Joni:
At least two other regular bloggers here agree with you. Unfortunately, however, we are in the minority. As you pointed out, we are thankful that at least Mr. Harris allows us to say most of what we want to say.
I have thought of starting a web page and wish I had started it long ago so that you and others who have those frightening things to contribute about Obama would do so.
October 9th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Art,
It has become clear that your investigative reporting on the truth about Barrack H. Obama be disclosed. While BO says that he was 8 yers old when Ayrs was involved in bombings of public taxpayers buldings and institutions his group also bombed private citizens home and should not be judged. Further states through his forces that there kids go to school together. Hmmmmm. BO’s kids are 8 and 10 and Ayres kids are about 29 and 30 years old. His alliance with Ayres from the late 90′s, involved on Boards; education progrms in Chicago to dilute the capitalist system with a socialist system; give 1 million dollars for a project. Who hands over 1 million to someone and they do not know eachother well. There is much more and I too hope that Art will present us with his investigation. What about Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson who got awarded with over 100 million dollars for their efforts (5 year tenure) of putting Freddie and Fannie in the tank. Both of these officers of these organizations who were kicked out of office are now conosultants and alligned with BOs campaign. Raines an Johnson are two of many democrats who are responsible for the collapse of stockmarket and and the losses sufferd by retirement funds. Retirement funds lost 2 trillion — trillion. Who has retirement funds……the taxpapers. Ken Delay Enron went to jail and was tried — but where are Raines and Johnson, Barney Frank, Chris Dodds. — Baskings in their millions. Shame on BO and his ilk.

…this is a MUST READ!
A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words redistribution of wealth. She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed.
Based on the lectures that she had participated in and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his. One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the need for more government programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father.
He responded by asking how she was doing in school. Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party like other people she knew. She didn’t even have time for a boyfriend, and didn’t really have many college friends because she spent all her time studying.
Her father listened and then asked, ‘How is your friend Audrey doing?’ She replied, ‘Audrey is barely getting by. All she takes are easy classes, she never studies, and she barely has a 2.0 GPA. She is so popular on Campus; college for her is a blast. She’s always invited to all the parties and lots of times she doesn’t even show up for classes because she’s too hung over.’
Her wise father asked his daughter, ‘Why don’t you go to the Dean’s Office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPA.’ The daughter, visibly shocked by her father’s suggestion, angrily fired back,
‘That’s a crazy idea, and how would that be fair! I’ve worked really hard for my grades! I’ve invested a lot of time, and a lot of hard work! Audrey has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off!’ The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, ‘Welcome to the Republican Party.’

So when is ‘Joe The Plumber’ scheduled to be on SNL?
I’m serious!!!
October 19th, 2008 at 5:06 pm
I’m not gonna vote.
In doing that I believe that McCain and all those high-foluten’ political celebrities understand, and know that Obama is a ‘Prodigy’…
Might work out right, giving people hope.

Warren Buffet offer 1 million dollars to the ceo’s of the top 500 comapanies if the CEO was paying as much in taxes % as his staff. No one ever took him up on it.
We working class don’t need more taxes just have the uber rich pay their fair share.
I don’t think $250,000 makes you rich. The uber rich like Trump, the Walmart family, celebrities, should pay their share. Teachers and firemen in the big cites make over $100,000.
I work a full time and part time job to make ends meet.

Hi Art!!!

Make that $600,000,000. I wonder how much, if any, he has left. Why is no one checking into where all that money is coming from. I don’t beleive for a minute that it’s all coming from the American people. I think alot of it’s coming from another country(s).
Think of how many starving and homeless people he could have helped, including his own relatives. I hear he has some really poor ones, especially that half brother in Africa. Think of how he’ll blow the taxpayer’s money if he becomes president.
Another thing, I wonder what would have happened if someone had hung an Obama likeness from the rooftop. I bet the FBI would NOT have said it posed no threat then. There would have been hell to pay, if it had been Obama. I don’t believe for a minute it was just for Halloween.
I never heard Obama say one word of how inappropriate that was. Nor has he said one word about how Acorn is committing all this voter fraud. I wonder if Mickey Mouse will show up on election day to vote.
Obama is nothing but a liar and a hoodlum and I still think he is on drugs. Just what we need running our country. Yikes!!

“More on meeting the McCains in the mountains, later?”
I’ve been waiting, and waiting…and making all my usual crazy comments…going off on those tangents.
Guess we’ll soon see how stupid Americans are.
Credit Cards should be against the law, or at least they should not be allowed all that ‘fine print’ and that reminds me of that stuff on sale at the grocery store…with all that nice nutritional information…that’s going to expire tomorrow.
Our government could do a better job, but now it’s so darn out-of-hand that I’m wondering if they can.
Reminds me of those poor people trying to get across that desert in Mexico to live here.
There’s so much that could be done to help people…to inform them and warn them…and then there’s ‘all that’…false advertising on television and now the internet, too!
And, I’ll sure be glad when this election is over and done with…it’s getting a little sick (I know I should talk or type, LOL)…and now Elizabeth Dole is getting sued…what’s next?
You know Mary Hart and Palin have a lot in common, I think. And, now that reminds me of a that little Ramsey girl, and Mr. Wood.
“Lights in a tube in a box” kinda reminds me of skin and “A brain is a terrible thing to waste.” And, that reminds me of Anna Nicole…
I could go on and on, and usually do, LOL.

How much does it cost to buy, I mean win the presidency? $600,000,000 apparently.
Will I ever vote again? Probably not. Why bother when the presidency can be bought. Maybe that privelege will be taken away anyway, after all the annointed one will want to ensure himself of 8 years in the Whitehouse. I wonder what shape it will be in by then, lol.
Now Art will you be allowed to print our posts? It probably depends on what we say, won’t it? If we praise the great obama, then we probably will be allowed to post and you will be allowed to have a blog. But then maybe you won’t have any bloggers left, just the way CNN and MSNBC and NBC and CBS have lost alot of their viewers. No one will ever believe them anymore. Fox had the highest ratings throughout this farce of an election.
I used to think CNN was the best and most reliable of all, but after witnessing this election debacle and their (and the rest) bowing down to the almighty dollar to say anything obama wanted them to say, I will NEVER watch them again. Fox was the only station who was putting the truth out there. Can you imagine Fox out-shining all the other stations? Well, they did, didn’t they?
I wonder how long it will be until everyone sees the error of their ways. Only it’s too late now to do anything. The rest of us shouldn’t have to suffer though because we tried to warn you all. I feel so depressed and fearful of what’s to come. Everyone should.
I give back to obama his middle finger salute that he is so fond of giving Hillary and McCain right in front of the cameras. What a scum bag, and I’m talking about obama. Am I allowed yet to say things like that or will it be deleted now that the annointed one bought his way into the Whitehouse with the help of the sniveling, ass kissing media. Are you allowed to let your posters post yet?
It’s amazing what the black panthers with their billy clubs can do to intimidate voters, isn’t it? Think of how well our streets will be protected with them out there. Does that make anyone feel safe? LOL
We have lost our country and time will tell us what country we will be pledging our allegience to. Whatever one(s) that’s shelled out all that money to the high preist. I’m sure obama thinks he will be ruling the world, but he’s too into himself to be able to see that he is only a puppet. obama wants to “change the world”. What conceit! What a travesty of democracy!

I just love to drift away from all that ‘mainstream media.’
However, I still have my feet planted firmly on the ground…
Darn Gravity!!!
When will you, dear Art, lift our ‘hearts/minds’ out of this rut…the few, the proud, the ones that voted for McCain?

And all along we’ve forgotten about THE WAR and TERRORISM…
Called pre-judgment…
Obama is gonna’ make a fine president and lift a lot of spirits…
I HOPE.
This war has been going on right here in our backyard…
Called America.
And funny, like we ‘weren’t blind’ and could see all the colour.
I should really take my time with this and write something great.
