Hillary’s Class Act: Backs Barack! “Yes We Can!”
Hillary Clinton Buries Hatchet with Obama; Vows to Help Elect Him.
By Bald Truth Staff, (c) www.artharris.com, all rights reserved
Now we know anything is possible in love, war and politics, as Hillary Clinton makes peace with “what might have been,” and throws her juggernaut team behind Obama.
To hear FOX News tell it, the Republicans pined Hillary wasn’t at the top of the ticket, turning their dump trucks around enroute to the landfill to park the old garbage. How will John McCain attack the enemy now?

I tell you what there ain’t no perfect man, or human, for that matter…
And what makes us all so important to neglect to respect our ‘Commander in Chief?’
You think you’re better than him, have you tried on his shoes?
Our Great Country ain’t nothin’ without respect, we might as well give up, be ashamed, and enslaved, and just let mad, selfish dictator/terrorists blow us up along with themselves, and not care that life is short and that there are little children ‘out there.’
I just want a President that cares if we live or die, and it would be a nice ‘bonus’ if he/she/it could or would make a difference…
Life is short, we are all living ‘a limited term.’
And, I’m darn tired of everyone’s retarded remarks and making ‘Our President, Commander in Chief, and his wife and his family,’ look like fools for the whole world to laugh at.
It was bad enough when Clinton was getting blow jobs in the oval office…I mean really…what’s this world coming too?
Are we not more proud of a man that isn’t having sex in that oval office…
I don’t care what religion or color you are…
What the heck are you?
June 8th, 2008 at 4:53 am
YES— Hillary is a class act,to bad most of the newscaster,s are not,I thought with all her knowledge,of the in,s and out,s of politics, she would be a asset, but you see,(SOME MEN DO NOT LIKE SMART WOMEN)there supposed to be the woman behind the man,WELL,I DO NOT LIKE OBAMA,AND THAT MAKES ME EVEN MADDER,I HEARD SENATOR KENNEDY SAID,HE DID NOT WANT HER AS VP,YOU SEE,OBAMA,HAS NOT A BRAIN IN HIS HEAD,HE IS DOING WHAT kENNEDY WANTS,AND HE BETTER PRAY KENNEDY LIVES.
June 8th, 2008 at 12:37 pm
I give Senator Clinton kudos for getting behind Senator Obma even if a little late. The republicans are already using some of her statements she made against senator Obama. She did a lot of damage during her campaign and i hope it can be repaied
June 8th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
I am terribly disappointed in Hillary and I hope those who worked so hard for her and who suffered so much abuse, will not listen to Hillary. From my perspective a person is either good or bad, capable or incapable and to lump them all in a “democratic” or “republican” pigeonhole is quite ridiculous.
Hopefully, there will be enough independent thinkers who do not follow blindley and will ignore Hillary’s stupid sugestion of swuitching to Osama the American hater and his pathetic wife. They should be banned to the corner where they can play with their thumbs up like a bunch of ignoramuses.
June 8th, 2008 at 4:28 pm
P.S.
It was never my intention to vote for Hillary, but just as I did with Howard, I cannot tolerate watching idly as people hurt others for their own deviant self-satisfaction.
June 8th, 2008 at 5:52 pm
Hillary kept her word, she always said she would back Obama 100% should he be the nominee.
I never had any respect for her before this campaign. With everything I am currently facing in my own life, one thing she taught me through all this is TO NEVER QUIT - GIVE IT YOUR BEST TRY.
Many people in the Democratic party owe her an apology for they way they treated her. Art you do too, she will be a mighty force to give the Democratic party the win they so desperately desire.
Poor McCain. He has no chance with Hillary on his case!
I do not think McCain is really interested in winning, I think he “stole” the Republican party’s nomination (revenge) and is working together with some powerful people behind the scenes to give it to Obama.
And with this I resign from blogging. It is not worth my precious health to argue with strangers who have their minds made up and would clearly not listen to me.
God Bless America
June 8th, 2008 at 6:26 pm
There goes my post, gone into cyberspace.
Let me try again.
Hillary kept her word. She always said she would be behind Obama 100% should he be the nominee.
The Democratic party, and even my favourite Art Harris, owe Hillary an apology. They could not appreciate the fighting spirit of my dear little Hillary, yet that is exactly that fighting spirit that will ensure their win.
So on Hillary’s behalf let me say “Shame on the Democratic Party for the way you have treated one of your own”.
The Party seem to use them and throw them away, and use them again….
Poor McCain. With Hillary on your case you are in BIG TROUBLE.
Not to mention the arrogant Obama who clearly has no respect for the elderly. He said McCain “lost his bearings” and few minutes after that he (Obama) seemed to have lost his own bearings when he talked about 57 US states. That’ll teach you to make fun of others. Not too mention the dead people he saw in the audience during his Memorial Day speech. Or is it just that he (Obama) does not have a clue what Memorial Day is all about?
BTW, age discrimination is as bad as racial discrimination or any other kind of discrimination.
Anyway, it seems to me that McCain is not really interested in winning. He “stole” the Republican Party’s nomination (revenge) and is now working with the opposition behind the scenes to get Obama into the White House.
Interesting days ahead.
June 8th, 2008 at 6:53 pm
Hillary’s 18,000,000 voters are not on the Obama trail–not even Hillary can force them to jump shit.
How will McCain fight the enemy (his opponent)? Very easily, with experience, comprehension of foreign policy which his opponent lacks and with a lot more than a mantra of ‘change’, an obscure and catchall terms as vapid as it’s sponsor.
June 8th, 2008 at 6:54 pm
oops, typo ’ship’
June 9th, 2008 at 1:33 am
I am so upset about Hillary’s support for Obama. She does not want him to be president !!!! You can’t sling mud at someone for months and then say that you like what he stands for. This is strictly ” vote the party ” IT STINKS. Hillary is a very smart lady so what the heck is she thinking ? I was a Hillary supporter but I WILL NOT vote for Obama !!!!
June 9th, 2008 at 11:05 am
I think she did what she had to do. I believe it was self serving, but never the less, I give her her props. The Clinton legacy is in question here as well as her own future.
June 9th, 2008 at 12:31 pm
Sarafina,
I’m glad you mentioned the 57 states, plus, there was one more Obama hadn’t gotten to yet, lol. I only saw that mentioned on TV once, then it was quickly forgotten. If Hillary or McCain had made that blunder, we would be hearing the ridicule decades from now. Someone made the lame excuse that he was tired. Well Hillary is 20 years older and McCain is another 10 years older than Hillary and they certainly knew how many states there were. Obama is proving he doesn’t hold up under any kind of pressure and that’s not good. Hillary was working every bit as hard as Obama was, and sleeping as little. If this is how his mind works when he’s tired, think of the chaos he could create when he’s up at all hours and under even greater pressure, while trying to sort out all this country’s problems and the world’s. He will get very little sleep then.
I don’t mind if people want to bash a candidate, but I think they should bash them equally if that’s what they are going to do. That is why I mentioned it to Art. It is so unfair to do that to only one of them and that one, being a woman, hmmmmmm. The sad part is that Obama has serious things in his past and no one is talking about that. The media is more into women bashing instead.
Obama says he made some poor judgements, like doing cocaine, and having crooks for friends, and that’s just for starters. If he has been making these poor judgements all his life (and he has), how does anyone expect him to change overnight and start making the right judgements that will have to be made for the sake of all of us?
Now Art, if you want to give Obama and McCain equal bash time, please do. It’s the only fair thing to do. Since you already started it with Hillary, you may as well give Obama and McCain equal time.
Hillary did say she would support Obama if he was the nominee, but I for one, don’t stick with the party, if there is no one in my party that I think is fit to be in the office they are running for. I vote for whomever I think will be the best person, or I won’t vote at all. I do have to wonder if Obama would be as gracious and supportive of Hillary if their positions were reversed. I have the distinct impression from what I can see of Obama, the answer would be, no, he wouldn’t. He doesn’t have the class it would take.
The reason I feel the way I do about Obama, is from what I’ve seen and heard from him and learned about him, and that has been plenty and none of it good.
Another thing, I am so sick and tired of people blaming those of us who don’t like Obama as being racists. These people are pathetic and it’s time they stop all that crap. It appears to me, they are the racists. They are so transparent.
I think it is shameful for all these men, and I use the term very loosely, to get on TV, night after night, and ridicule a woman who is so superior to them, she could run circles around all of them put together. I think it’s mostly sexism as to why they are bashing her. They can’t stand to see a woman be president when they know full well they could never come as far as Hillary has. For one thing, they just don’t have the smarts (only smart mouthed), lol. Maybe if it hadn’t been for these “men”, she may have made it. Sadly, too many people are influenced by what they see on TV. We all know what they did to poor Howard. Where has the ability for people to think for themselves gone?
Hillary has been working in politics, one way or another since college. She has so much experience and knowledge, then we have Obama who has really not accomplished much of anything in all the years since college and there he is, being ushered, unchallenged by the media, right up to the White House door.
The very first year he was a senator, he wanted to be president. Whatever happened to gaining knowledge and experience first? What ever happened to earning the right by working hard for years? What is his damned rush? This man knows nothing of what it takes to run a big, powerful country (or at least it used to be) like ours. Then when you add the fact that he sat in a church and listened to anti everything sermons, including anti American, you have to wonder just what country or people he will be aiding if and when he gets elected.
I found it interesting that Hillary mentioned Jim Crow and his segregation beliefs, only she failed to mention that Obama’s church still subscribes to Jim Crow’s black theology. She seemed to be under the impression that is all a thing of the past, lol. Or maybe she was just getting a little dig in there.
June 9th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Isabel I feel the same about being lump into “democratic” or “republican” pigeonhole, it is ridiculous.
We should vote according to our conscience and our principals. Blind loyalty to a party is foolish.
If a candidate represents what you believe in, vote for that candidate, period. If he does not represent your beliefs no party in hell should force you to vote for him for the sake of the Party. Especially, since the Party has clearly shown that it does not give a damn about what you want anyway.
Much as I have learnt to respect Hillary during her campaign I think she is underestimitating the resolve of her followers.
They have ligimate issues with Obama and his friends and are not as braindead as many other, and will definitely not vote against their conscience.
So vote for the person who respresents your beliefs, that will teach both Democratic and Republican parties to LISTEN to the PEOPLE.
June 9th, 2008 at 3:49 pm
People are worried about Fox news. I personally don’t care one bit about them.
But as Joni keeps asking, what about MSNBC? Or are they OK because they are so openly pro-Obama that they won’t allow any scrutiny of him, but they are ok with scrutiny of the other candidates?
The media is doing us a great disservice.
Where are the days when the media was regarded as “watchdog”? There is no integrity in any of the media, most of them seem to have been bought. They are closing their eyes and are handing the country over to the biggest bidder.
June 9th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
Freida, your remarks are as crude and vulgar as EJ’s, but then I guess I shouldn’t expect any better from either of you.
June 9th, 2008 at 11:24 pm
Frieda, please restrain yourself we all know about Billy boy and his escapades you need to follow the europeans they do it all the time and no one bats an eyelash look at Frances government leader…europeans just want good leadership sex is part and parcel of it all..
On another note I like Hillary, she is a class act, and I hope she finds something that she will excell at because she has something that no one else has in this race had, courage to continue and she never quit till the end, long with intelligence and drive and this shows great leadership potential and team work.
Mr Bush has destroyed this country and Iraq, and killed many young men and women in the process all in the name of oil and Osema bin stupid…When you all wake up I really hope it is not too late false economies are hard to weather the storm is about to begin….
June 10th, 2008 at 1:03 am
I just realized that I got Jim Crow and Jim Cone mixed up, lol. They are two differnt people aren’t they? I was talking about Cone and I think Hillary was talking about Crow. Sorry about the mixup.
June 10th, 2008 at 3:01 am
From a Western Australian prospective Billory lost because sufficient Americans VOTED FOR “ANYONE BUT HILLARY!” {perhaps they agree with me when I say that I have never believed anything spoken by this “silver-tongued” disengenuous pair who could have captured/killed Osama but were “too wishy washy” to put AMERICA FIRST {whilst grinning like “Cheshire Cats!”} Hill knew that Bill was “cheating” all the time…but in order to become the 1st female Pres she appears to have forgiven him…HELLS BELLS HILL..YOU NEED TO HAVE “BALLS” if you are going to take a 3:00 AM phone call…there is a good chance that Bill will be out “cavoting!”…IMO I wouldn’t trust you as far as I could throw you!
Barrack Muhammed Hussein Obama…hmm…we know very little about you except your alligiance with MANY UNSAVORY ANTI-AMERICAN’s {including your wife Michelle}..SURE YOU HAVE THE “GIFT OF THE GAB”…but it is time to put your money where your mouth is…LET US SEE YOU DEBATE John McCain in MANY town hall meetings…LET US HEAR WHAT YOUR POLICIES ARE…currently all I am hearing is you “sprewking” in a very similar manner to that of the disgusting Wright & Pfleger!
ISRAEL has promised to attack IRAN if AMERICA doesn’t take a DEFINATE STANCE on their NUCLEAR WEAPONS…TRUST ME…THE REST OF THE WORLD IS WATCHING!!! Achmijinidad CAN’T WAIT for AMERICA to let Obama be the next President…then they can have a “COZY CHAT”..IRAN WILL “CROW” that the USA are WEAK..probably by then they will have taken over IRAQ {as the “bummer” will have withdrawn the troops} AND OF COURSE HE WILL INVADE ISRAEL…FOLLOWED BY THE USA!….The choice is yours America…vote Obama & prepare for total devastation by Iran and their Terrorist friends…OR…VOTE McCain who certainly has the qualifications to AVERT WW3!
June 10th, 2008 at 10:21 am
Hmm, “even if a little late”? Hillary couldn’t very well get behind him any sooner, since she was running against him. Geeesh!
June 10th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
Correction on my earlier post, I meant to say that the media is selling the country out to the HIGHEST bidder, not the biggest LOL
June 10th, 2008 at 11:58 pm
Sarafina,
Good posts and you are right. The media has absolutely no integrity.
I said a long time ago on here that I will follow the leader if that leader is going in the same direction as I want to go, but if that leader veers off onto another path and I don’t like the path that leader has chosen, then I will go on alone.
I stand by that and always will. I supported Hillary, but now that she has to stay with the party, I will go alone on my own path. I will vote for McCain or I will stay at home. I’ll have to see how things go at voting time and make my decision then.
I will not vote for someone I do not want in just because he is of the same party as I am.
June 11th, 2008 at 6:37 am
FREDIA—-I have always loved the kennedy family, but,I am not blinded to the truth,John Kennendy, did the same, had as many or more afairs,in and out of the White House.Yet he is considered the prince of the US,Obama, appeals to the younger generation,so the only thing is to let this play out,we are so far down now,the only thing,I pray is going up.I PRAY THIS MAN SHOWS ME I AM WRONG ABOUT HIM,I AM WILLING TO EAT CROW(MIGHT TASTE GOOD FOR ALL I KNOW).
June 11th, 2008 at 12:16 pm
Seems my crude and vulgar comment has been read.
Hi EJ, Hi Joni, Hi Beverly, and Isabel, what can I say…I know everyone reads your comments as well.
Why is it that someone from Australia, or South Africa, loves America so much?
Even with gasoline prices soaring, and in turn, everything else…that’s the way it is…it’s called ‘inflation,’ nothing stays the same.
How ’bout faith? How ’bout ‘IN GOD WE TRUST?’
Is this a Great Country, or what?
June 12th, 2008 at 7:46 am
There will be plenty of crossover Dems like myself who would NEVER vote for Obama and for the same reasons–we don’t TRUST him, especially in world affairs.
Anyone remember Reagan Democrats?
By November, Obama will have sunk like a stone as a candidate in contrast to John McCain.
June 12th, 2008 at 11:54 am
Hi Freida

Hope this works if not put in google and read thru it may not change your mind butit at least awnsers a lot of false rumors out there
June 12th, 2008 at 2:16 pm
http://www.fightthesmears.com
If that doesn’t work this one should Like I said no matter who you wote for at least do not let false rumors be why you voted against someone. Please read thru the web site.I at least have read thru Senator Clintons web site and SenatorMcCains web site so I know what all have to say and take rumors for what they are just that false rumors.
June 12th, 2008 at 9:27 pm
A lot can still happen between now and November. May the best man win!
When will we know about the Howard/Rita and other cases?
June 13th, 2008 at 8:01 am
To Joni #16
Ahem…..um….Jim Crow is not a person–it is a term that connotates the era of segregation and racism in the south long ago–beginning long ago. It comes from an old ditty ‘Dance, Jim Crow’ and the days of minstrels singing in what was called ‘blackface’. Hopefully those days are now HISTORY and that’s what she was talking about (Hillary).
to: Jill from Australia
AS a staunch pro-Israel supporter, I have to agree with you on that aspect of the politics involved here. But there is another aspect equally important–the military. AS a supporter of the best foreign policy for the USA I would have to agree with you that Sen. McCain is the more trustworth and the most experienced with the best understanding of the war against terror, which is a major global threat.
June 13th, 2008 at 8:27 am
freida #1
I have to agree with you–I always respect the Commander-in-Chief no matter which party he belongs to, and I, for one, am delighted that the Butcher of Baghdad is gone from this planet to the Hell he belongs in–after gassing tens of thousands of Kurds while the world stood by and yawned, not to mention his haven for terrorists that he offered Abu Abbas and all the rest of those PLO people and the perpetrator of the Achille Laurel boat hijacking and murders of American citizens.
June 13th, 2008 at 10:25 am
Respect is something someone has to earn. You can’t just respect someone because they just happen to be the president. Our president doesn’t deserve anyone’s respect in my opinion.
Another thing, has anyone seen Obama talking about “vetting the vetters? He could not even put a complete sentence together. He kept trying to say something and then changed his words only to change them again and again. He stammered around and couldn’t say anything coherent. He looked and sounded really out of it. Hmmmmm.
If Obama doesn’t want to be exposed for every thing he’s been involved in and the people he’s kept company with, then he shouldn’t be running for president. He is now living in a goldfish bowl and will have to get used to it.
One thing I can say about Bush, and that is, he has taken things said about him with a fair amount of aplomb. That’s about the only good thing I can say about him.
Obama is going to have to learn to shrug the little things off and be able to deal with a whole lot more than people talking about him. A whole lot more. This guy just isn’t going to be able to handle the job, period.
All the other candidates have taken criticisim and Obama is going to have to do the same instead of crying foul everytime something is said about him. He has to toughen up if he wants the toughest job in the country. I can’t stand cry babies. He needs to take it like a man, but has to grow up first.
Can you imagine how Obama would act if he was called the “m” word, like Howard was over and over on national TV; if he was accused of all the things Howard has been accused of and had to go through all the crap Howard had to go through and is STILL going through? Look at all the crap that was thrown at Howard and Howard took it like the real man he is.
Obama, you silly little twit, grow up!
June 13th, 2008 at 12:35 pm
You Obama supporters need to check out what all this guy is about and I’m talking about the things he has said himself.
He said, “as your president, I will use the “bully pulpit” to urge states to treat same-sex couples with full equality in their family and adoption laws.” He said a whole lot more than that too. Seems he can dish it out, but isn’t man enough to take it himself. He doesn’t hesitate to “bully” anyone, but no one else is allowed to say anything untoward about him, even if it is the truth. I guess he just doesn’t want all those truths to get out about him.
He said he would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). He says “while some say we should repeal only part of the law, I believe we should get rid of that statute altogether.” He called DOMA “an abhorrant law” and promised to repeal the whole thing. Seems like anything he doesn’t want, he’ll just get rid of altogether, hmmmmm. Nice guy.
He also stated that he would be comfortable with teachers reading to second graders, a children’s book, called, “King and King” which is supportive of gay marriage. THAT is something teachers should have no right doing to anyone’s child. He’d better not start shoving this gay crap down everyone’s throats. What two people do in privacy (and it should be private) is their business, but it shouldn’t be shoved in our faces.
I think I’ve figured out why the young, college people are on his side. They can identify with his drug and alcohol problem. Maybe they are hoping he can legalize drugs. Why is it ok for the press and everyone else to run roughshod over the Clinton, and now McCain and anyone else they want to, but no one is allowed to state the truth about the Obama’s?
We need to fight for freedom of speech, because it’s being taken away a little at a time and if Obama gets in, it just may dissapear altogether, just the way he is making things disappear online, like that video where he was yelling at a little old lady who just asked him a question. She must have hit a nerve.
June 14th, 2008 at 12:12 am
Freida I read an article quoteing Laura Bush and i have to say Now that is a real lady and the type of woman I would like to see in the whitehouse. She would get my vote if she ever ran.We have to show respect for our president even if we disagree he is still our leader and for that alone deserves respect
June 14th, 2008 at 11:19 pm
Thank you Rachelle, and yes, that is what she was talking about. I got the names mixed up.
I wasn’t a Reagan Dem. but I will be a McCain Dem.
Obama says one thing one day, then a few days later, says the complete opposite. He’s done that so many times. I don’t trust him at all to make the right choices, because he’s made so many bad ones so far in his life. He doesn’t seem to be able to make good ones.
June 16th, 2008 at 2:02 pm
Hmmmm
With a lot of respect I say this, you just don’t get it. Obama has said enough with HIS OWN mouth for us to make decisions about him.
Stop the blame game, Obama and his obvious lack of judgement are the reason people are sceptical about him.
IT IS NOT ABOUT RUMORS. BTW, rumors are being spread about ALL THE CANDIDATES, it is nothing new.
I wonder if the Obama coolaid drinkers just do not believe that Obama is really as radical as he himself says that he is, or if they just naively believe he will not run the country according to his believes.
June 16th, 2008 at 2:09 pm
Joni
You said at the beginning that to argue with Obama supporters is like arguing with Virgie supporters.
They just do not care about the truth or the real issues. Obama’s star appeal is all that matters, people have just suspended their reasoning when it comes to Obama.
And for people to say they will vote for Obama just because they are tired of the Clintons shows how immature they are. There should be better reasons to vote for a candidate.
It is just a waste of time. Wish you all the best Joni, I am out of here, and this time for real. I have tried.
June 16th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
When I talk about Obama’s beliefs, I am not talking about religion, just wanted to make that clear.
I am also not saying Virgie has star appeal LOL
June 17th, 2008 at 8:30 pm
Sarafina,
I hope you’ll stick with it. You have to see this video from a Dr. Khallid Abdul Mulhammad. I just came across it from another blog.
Type in: youtube African American’s only solution to racism. My God! Is this what they are preaching? I don’t know if this is a church or where it is, but this is the most frightening thing I’ve seen yet. No wonder Jangie feels the way she does if this is the kind of crap she is listening to on the radio or wherever all she hears it.
They want to kill every white, even the babies, because they grow up to be soldiers. It’s absolutely horrible. Is this for real? I hope someone will be able to tell me this was just some horrible movie or something. Yikes!!!
June 17th, 2008 at 8:34 pm
The more I see, the more I am understanding why Obama is in such a rust to get into the White House. Also from what I’ve been reading, he’ll be needing to “help” out alot of Chicago thugs that he has been friends with. They are helping him but they’ll want to be paid back. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
People had better wake up before it’s too late. Hopefully Rezko will “talk” before it’s too late.
Sarafina, don’t give up yet. We have to keep trying. We can’t let it to the TV media. They don’t know which end is up. They aren’t interested in putting the truth out there, they are only interested in what they can get out of anything, including the late Tim Russert.
June 18th, 2008 at 1:16 am
Ooops, I meant rush, not rust, lol.
June 18th, 2008 at 1:17 am
Sarafina, I wish you the best too, but I hope you’ll stay on here. Take care.
June 18th, 2008 at 2:21 am
I would never want to watch something else similar to what I saw pouring out of that reverend wrong. It is frightening.
I have a niece who teaches school in New York. One day she was surprised by a sudden attack by a student that left her unconscious. She suffers ongoing problems as a result, but the school refused to acknowledge it was work related. The school must be run by the likes of those marching robots such as Jackson and company.
June 18th, 2008 at 12:26 pm
Isabel,
This video was horrible. This man was saying about killing all the white people, the babies, the women, the sick, the insane and just every white person in general.
He said terrible things about white women, which I will not repeat here. I’ve never seen such an evil, vile thing in all my life. He wants the blacks to kill every white person.
Virgie, seems like an angel in comparison to this person. I have to wonder how many “churches” across this nation, this pure hate and evil is being “preached”.
June 18th, 2008 at 1:58 pm
Joni #34
I don’t trust Obama either and he has said and done nothing to earn that trust that I can see. That Rev. Wright and then Father Pfleger ranting and raving like the lunatics they are speaks volumes..it is called Black Liberation Theology and most of us have never heard of it before. Back in the day it was radicalism called Afrocentrism–everything was ‘out of Africa’ and European or Eurocentric history was allegedly false.
This new one is news to me–the one Rev. Wright and Pfleger preach and the ‘chickens coming home to roost’ talk about how we deserved the terrorist attack of 9/11 is all about Far Left radicalism that places everything as ‘morally equivalent’..in other words if we fought a just war, then it follows that all the collateral damage of civilian casualties is EQUAL to the collateral damage of civilian deaths on 9/11–’we had it coming.’
Americans are not stupid and can see through the transparency of this kind of political machinations–they may not understand the complexities but Americans certainly understand right from wrong and there exists NO such thing as ‘moral equivalence.’
June 18th, 2008 at 9:57 pm
Isabel,
I just reread your post and this is much worse than what came out of Wright’s mouth, much worse. This may have taken place in Africa, because he mentions doing this in Africa, but the title of the video says African Americans, so I don’t know.
One thing though, this sounds like that Jim Cone’s black theology that Wright believes in also. Everyone should check out this video and Cone’s black theology.
It’s so alarming that Obama sat in that “church” for 20 years and listened to that. He believes in it also or he would have left that church on his own long ago.
Odinga in Kenya supposedly is a cousin of Obama’s father and there was so much killing down there because he lost the election. Hundreds were slaughtered. He wants to win so he can make Kenya an Islamic state.
I know Obama’s tied to the criminal activities in Chicago that Rezko is being sent up for. I’ve been reading of the things he’s “accomplished” when he was a state senator there, like helping his buddy Rezko get millions for things he was involved in. I’ve also heard the people who were running against him (Obama) were “removed” from the ballot, so he ran unopposed. It’s been said, instead of leveling the playing field, he got rid of it altogether. Hmmmmmm
June 19th, 2008 at 3:26 pm
What I cannot understand is when those pictures of displaced people are shown sitting idly under that hot sun with nothing to do or eat, just sitting there because they had to run away from the machete yielding people out to kill their own flesh and blood, not a peep is heard from Jackson and company. You see those children with flies biting their face and there is nothing but open air without any shade — doesn’t anybody feel like running up to Africa to help those they profess to care so much about? They ought to stop making trouble here, take their boundless energy and run up there as fast as they can and help those helpless people understand they have rights as human beings to not be slaughtered. But then, they will not have reporters and cameras following them, so why bother?
June 19th, 2008 at 3:33 pm
The polls keep showing those outrageous numbers for Obama and I just want to give up. It is like watching Tsunami rush toward me and there is nothing anybody will do because all they care about is a certain pigmentation in the White House. A first, come hell or high water. Where are people’s common sense, I wonder. Has the planet been sprinkled with some brainwashing powder?

Obama’s church denies the holocaust - In one of his sermons Wright referred to the “so-called Holocaust”.
Agmidinajad also denies that it ever happened. Their views just seem too similar.
When asked last year about Agmidinajad wanting to visit Ground Zero, Obama said he will invite Agmid to the White House. What does that tell you?
The above are FACTS - Not RUMOURS.
I do not even think for Obama it is really about us blacks - I am waiting anxiously to hear what his proposed involvement in Sudan (Darfur) will entail. I suspect that will confirm my suspiciouns of Obama’s agenda.
BTW, who is funding his campaign? REALLY?
Joni I want to leave but just had to add my last thoughts on the matter.
June 19th, 2008 at 9:23 pm
Sarafina, please don’t leave. Say all you know, tell everyone. Get on every blog you can. I’ve been reading a couple of blogs I’ve found, but don’t post.
I know that Wright leans toward Islam and this Odinga in Kenya who is a cousin of Obama’s father, wants to turn Kenya into as Islamic state and the president of Iran is hoping Obama will become president. I believe they are all working together on this “change”.
It still goes back to Obama being in that “church” for 20 years. He didn’t stay in it for no reason. He had good reasons and if he becomes president, I’m afraid we’ll all see what those real reasons are, only then it will be too late.
I saw a video of Obama with a cigarrette hanging out of his mouth and he looked like a thug. He has kept friends of thugs also. Then he gives the lame excuse of ” this isn’t the person I once knew” LOL. That excuse is wearing pretty thin by now.
There is a blog called Hillary is 44. I stumbled upon it a few weeks ago and they are up on everything. They are also angry because everything was stolen away from Hillary and given to Obama. They are all going to vote for McCain as I am. I’m trying to talk my husband into it now and my one son, lol. My husband was going to stay home and not vote, but I told him it was important to get a vote in for McCain.
My hope is that Tony Rezko will bring down Obama. If he does, he will get a lighter sentence. Sing Rezko, sing, lol.
June 20th, 2008 at 9:03 am
Sarafina,
I’ve heard other people denying the holocaust ever happened. How can they believe that? I wonder if they really believe that or if they just want to stir up trouble. Do they honestly think someone made that up? I wonder what Obama believes. Of course, whatever he believes today will be the opposite tomorrow.
This guy has gone back on everything he’s said so far. Almost every day you see he’s done a complete about face on something or other. He really doesn’t know which end is up. Why are people trusting this guy? What is wrong with people? He has done nothing by lie about everything so far.
June 20th, 2008 at 11:15 am
The Democrats haven’t had a legacy to brag about since the 60’s. They need one desperately and this is it–even if they lose the WH again, it will be worth it for them.
The only worthwhile poll is Gallup and it won’t be worthwhile to follow the polls until October. All the rest of it until then is political conventions full of hoopla and BS, congressional recess and the media just sits and repeats the same nonsense over and over.

Exactly what I am thinking, but too scared to say. They have enough power and influence to make a difference in Africa, if they want to, you do not have to be president to do something. But they do not care, period.
I know of a lot of poor white Americans (misionaries) who risk everything to go and live with those people (my people) and who are making a change, although you will never hear about those in the media. Oprah is the only black I have heard of that is involved in helping Africans.
You will start hearing and seeing them all over the place once they have figured out how to blame America for Darfur and the ills of Africa.
June 21st, 2008 at 10:14 am
I’m sick of this whole political scene. I’ve had it. Our votes don’t count anyway when they can just hand out delegates to whomever they want to, even if that person wasn’t even on the ballot.
It doesn’t matter if we vote or not. They will just change the outcome. It’s so crooked.
June 21st, 2008 at 6:16 pm
Obama should be every true-blue investigative journalist’s dream. There is a minefield there! But then we do not have real journalists anymore.

The genocide of 1,000,000 Rwandans is an example of how the world stood by and watched how quickly a machete killed so many in a short time. That is what genocide means–ethnic cleansing and it happened in Bosnia. It took America long enough to become involved in Bosnia and to stop the Serbian massacres. It had to be a NATO intervention, as if Europeans cared about their own backyard (not).
June 23rd, 2008 at 2:05 pm
It truly is sickening how the entire world does whatever it wants with its people, yet they cannot jump fast enough to accuse the US of mistreating those poor dears who thrive on blowing themselves up in order to meet those virgins!
The US needs to put its foot down and somehow force other nations to be responsible for themselves so that it can take care of its own right here and that means not allowing others to break its laws while a guest in this country.
Every finger points at the big, bad US while the finger pointers turn on the TV to watch horror taking place everywhere else. Even when the US begs paranoid (Myanmar) nations to allow it to help their own dying people, it is still the big, bad US of A “interfering”.
June 24th, 2008 at 6:59 pm
I am speaking for many of friends around the world - we believe that the US is the only Voice of Reason in this insane world and that it should remain the super power of the world.
There is just not a country sane enough out there to protect the world from itself.
The lunatics (Iran, China, North Korea, etc) would love to have the US out of the way so they can ran havock as they are already doing to some extend in their own countries.
Obama has made it clear that he plans on weakening the US military. In the meantime Iran etc. will be allowed to strengthen themselves without interference from the busy-body USA.
It is because of political correctness that Darfur and Burma is happening right before our eyes and we are not allowed to lift a finger!!

June 26th, 2008 at 1:39 am
Larinda,
You are right, it was stolen. Have you checked out the Hillary is 44 blog?
June 26th, 2008 at 1:46 am
I just read on that PUMA blog about them “making over” Michelle and having to “reintroduce” Obama. Something is very wrong here. They mentioned PUMA on Hillary is 44. There’s one called, together 4 us, and one called, turndownobama.com.
I can’t ever remember anyone having to “make over” a potential first lady and having to “reintroduce” the candidate before. Hmmmmmm. I wonder how many times they will have to “reintroduce” his many faceted sides.
June 26th, 2008 at 11:13 am
Obama can not singlehandedly weaken the US military–never happen. The military itself and the DoD along with other agencies such as the DIA have enough power to protect itself from far left policies being implemented. There are government oversight committees to bring in top military leaders from the Joint Forces for response to any proposed legislation. There is currently no way to over-ride a presidential veto–that’s why the Dems are focusing on the senatorial races (keep a close eye on those). Last but not least the military is doubling it’s forces in most of the branches and ALL agree this is a necessary and long-delayed happening. About time.
The National Guard is undergoing a massive regrouping and rethinking as a result of their 40% lossses in combat in Iraq and this is happening as we speak, with budget allocations in the MILLIONS (per state) NEW equipment, instead of old leftovers from active duty army bases, etc. If they wish to use the Guard then they better give them the same privileges of Tricare, new equipment, better training etc.
June 26th, 2008 at 7:28 pm
Reintroduce the candidate? LOL. He already made his entry on the stage of politics. You don’t get to do it again.
As far as the potential First Lady, all I can remember is that Jackie O was very shy and was urged to accompany her husband during the campaign. She was pregnant and lost the baby, Patrick. But she was always beloved in America by the public.
June 27th, 2008 at 12:50 am
Hillary needs a smack to teach her not
Hillary’s overwhelming desire to accomplish her dmission puts her in a sorry position of having to swallow her pride and be kicked around in horse manure. Somewhere, there should be someone capable of stopping her from stooping so low. When I see her on TV urging votes for Obama, I just want to smack her.
Those people who will vote for Obama and worship the ground he walks on, are in my opinion, desperate tunnel-vision zombies who do not care what happens to this country, just as long as they get their “man” up on the throne. If such misfortune befalls this tattered country, it will be the end. Blue lips will put all his bomb-strapping maggots where they will cause untold damage for years to come. We will have foot baths in every corner and some fanatic, delusional catholic priest makes a complete #$@ of himself stomping around, twisting and shouting.
June 27th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
So they kissed and made up and lived happily ever after!! And (wild) Bill is still mad…
Apparently he and Oprah ignored each other at Nelson Mandela’s birthday party in London today! How childish is that, I wonder what my sweet Madiba (Mandela) thought of that!
I still wonder if McCain is seriously running for president, he seriously lacks passion!
I still have my own little conspiracy theory that they are all in cahoots for Obama. And that for McCain it is all about revenge. Just listening to him sometimes makes me feel soooooooooo tired!
But I still think he is the lessor of 2 evils. Don’t stay at home, your vote counts!
June 28th, 2008 at 3:40 pm
Darn it though…
Most people will just vote for the ‘the face, and the body and the real nice promises.’
Or, they won’t vote at all…and what’s ‘all that’…more than half the nation probably!

And take turns working in the fields and picking up our garbage.
Maybe instead of driving to some tourist attraction…you could promote a walk to your closest mall and buy and carry all the crap you buy back home.
Maybe when gasoline hits 8 to 10 bucks a gallon it might make a difference…and put those ‘Auto Manufacturers’ and Promoters under some kinda pressure to ‘blow up’ their old equipment and ‘this industrial revolution.’
You know though, when there’s a drought or a flood and that corn oil and corn syrup runs low…it’ll be the same old story, over and over again.

Rachelle there is a video where Obama lays out some plans re funding of some things military that IMHO will have some negative effects on our military.
But what do I know. I will try to post the link, although I am sure many have seen it.
Isabel exactly why I get so mad at McCain. He can have it all!!! He should just wake up and seize the opportunity!!! Swallow his pride and win over the conservatives, some Democrats already said they will vote for him, WHAT IS HE WAITING FOR!!
I think Hillary and Obama need each other - she said from the start she will support him if he is the candidate - so in my opinion she is doing the honorable thing, namely keeping her word.
Obama thinks he is the expert on everything - how he is taking the Bible out of context for one is disgusting. He is not Christian, not Muslem, which is OK! But why try to pretend? He can try but you cannot fool a real Christian or a real Muslim - they know a fake when they hear one!!
June 29th, 2008 at 11:25 pm
McCain needs to stop the niceness BS and go for the jugular. Doesn’t he have any advisor who can shake him awake?
Clark, the former military guy is working with Obama.
When Sadam Hussein was on trial, some former US military guy was protecting him.
People are too blind or conveniently pretend to not see that there is corruption everywhere and those in high places kissing Obama’s behind are simple terrorists working to destroy this country. They can quickly bring the country down once they have some jackass for president, which they are working overtime to accomplish.
June 30th, 2008 at 9:22 am
Sarafina,
I would appreciate a link about Obama’s plans to downsize the military! That is in direct contravention to the military’s OWN plans to increase through recruiting. Plans are already underway regarding the National Guard–and it’s about time. They are already creating one of the first bases just for the Guard–instead of leaving them scattered across the state attached to individual local units and no family liaison person to maintain contact with the families. There is no Pentagon recognition of the Guard, at long last, considering the casualties they have suffered in Iraq and Afghanistan. The USMC is plannng to DOUBLE it’s tiny branch–it has always been the smallest and most elite branch of the armed forces.
I have just joined Supporters for McCain
http://www.johnmccain.com/
I am a registered Democrat and have never voted Republican in a presidential election –only in local and state races for the first time in 2004!
Wesley Clark was removed from NATO command in Kosovo because he advocated a groud war…Clinton had him removed. He is a good man, but waffles back and forth from the center to the left and back to the center. There is NO CENTER when it comes to wars IMO.
I will confess that I am shocked at some of the Democrats who turned on Hillary and endorsed Obama and are with his presidential campaign.
I am pro-Israel and I can tell you this–my people will not vote Obama, except the diehard leftwing Democrats. They will not be sold a bill of goods of Obama at AIPAC. It was Hillary at AIPAC that got the cheers and ovation. They were being polite to Obama–which is o.k. Just see it for what it was–not some kind of media spin that Obama has the Jewish vote because that is not borne out and many American Jews reside in Israel and vote by proxy/absentee ballot from there.
June 30th, 2008 at 9:23 am
typo:
There is NOW Pentagon recognition of the Guard, not ‘no’ recognition. Times are changing and there does happen to be a Global War on Terrorism. I guess Democrats don’t want to think about that.
June 30th, 2008 at 9:29 am
YIKES!
Another typo: should read GROUND WAR.

Isn’t that a joke!! And remember the opposition leader withdrew, as Mugabe wanted it, there was no competition.
Remember there was an election earlier this year that the opposition won and Mugabe was not happy of course, thus he had this sham election.
Mugabe’s time was over 24 years ago, that is more or less the time that passed after his first term. But you know, he has the charm of Obama, and this is what you get. I am sorry to offend Obama supporters, but when I see him, I see a young Mugabe.
Thank God for George Bush. I know many of his own people hate him, perhaps when they look back at history oneday they will thank God with me that they had a president like him in a time like this. I think history will prove that Bush was right.
And now he has indicated that he is going to intervene in Zimbabwe, with sanctions. Now watch and see how they jump on him. The world was too politically correct and cowardice to intervene and help those poor people, but watch them now!
You will see the Jeremia Wrights from Africa now! And it will not be one bit about the plight of the Zimbabwean people, it will all be just politics for them.
God bless America, God bless George Bush.
June 30th, 2008 at 6:55 pm
I agree that McCain has to get tough. Unfortunately, being nice doesn’t do it.
Even years ago when he was running I always thought he seemed like such a nice man, even though he was Republican, lol, and I always thought it would have been nice to have him for your father.
He needs though to really slam Obama every chance he gets and do it hard.
July 1st, 2008 at 5:29 pm
True McCain is waaayyyyy too nice! Obama is running a real mean campaign, what happened to CHANGE???
July 2nd, 2008 at 2:34 am
Isabel,
I still have faith that ‘The President of The United States’ is only one person, and not REALLY in control.
You’re scaring me, and those darn ‘TV Networks’ are really just competing with ‘This Inter-Net-Work’…LOL.
Made ‘em go bezzerk…made BRAVO…
And that darn awful ‘THING’ they did about Anna right after she passed…and now we have gay cowboys…and sheep…
Actually I spell it “CHEAP’…and you know what, I think maybe Art could bring back ‘Quick Draw,’…
And, it’s horse business and show business…and
the oil business, and can you believe, here in my neck of the woods, it’s only a little over a 4 bucks a gallon.
The Industrial Revolution is alive and well.
And you know all about that stuff all these tubes try to sell us, right?
My daughter tells me to take a chill pill, and I say, where can I find them, how much do they cost, and what are the side effects.
Hi Art…are you having fun, yet? Sure hope so, ’cause I get way too, serious sometimes like Isabel, and sometimes…
Oh, you know….you’ve been to IRAQ!!!!

The President of the US is just one person and not in total control but look what has been going on. It is scary.
Look at all the people who have been gathering signatures to “impeach” the president. Look at that pathethic Pelosi and how she treats the president without any respect as do so many others. In my opinion, it is not simply the fact these people are ill-mannered troublemakers. I consider these people a pack of terrorists who do not give a damn about this country and do not give a second thought to disrespecting the president everywhere overseas to incite the hatred. This is beyond jealousy. Even if these people had a legitimate reason to dislike the president, their vocalization of disdain and hatred achieve the same result as what any other egotistical maniac does when inciting riot or terror.
Senator Kennedy, leaping tall buildings, accompanied by his right-hand puppet Carolyn, (Wonder Woman), Cindy Sheehan, all those freaks in the senate, the list is endless. Where exactly do they expect to hide when the “tsunami” hits? How ignorant are they anyway, I wonder. They must consider themselves indestructible and invincible.
July 6th, 2008 at 2:20 pm
Sarafina,
Have you ever heard EXACTLY what this “change” is going to be? I’ve never heard him say that. I get so sick of hearing “yes we can” and “change”. He sounds like a broken record and he never tells us exactly what kind of change he has in mind. He refuses to answer questions, serious questions that we have a right to know the answers to BEFORE we vote!.
I still contend that he either doesn’t have an answer to these questions, OR he does and just doesn’t want us to know what they are until, after the election. I’ve seen him do nothing, but skirt around questions and downright refuse to answer important questions. THAT scares me, and it should scare everyone.
July 7th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
Rachelle
I will work very hard to find that specific video! It was on a website that had all kinds of Obama videos.
I would like to know what you think about what he was saying.
I also think the Democratic party underestimates the integrity of its members. Because the “leaders” are ok with some underhanded tactics does not mean the rest of the people will follow like sheep.
Joni, one thing about McCain, he has a sense of humor that I really enjoy! Hope it will still come through during this campaign, sometimes they all get sooooo serious.
THis Wesley Clark thing will backfire bigtime! It will cause people to be sympathetic to McCain because of this rude attack against him.
And Obama gets phonier everyday, poor thing!
July 7th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
Rachelle
I was very sceptical when I heard that apparently the Jewish people may consider voting for Obama.
Obama set in a church for 20 years that denies the holocaust and that seems to hate Israel for its support (real or perceived) to Apartheid South Africa.
Obama really thinks he can fool all the people all the time LOL
July 7th, 2008 at 1:26 pm
BTW, I am currently reading a book called “Israel the Beloved”.
I know everybody may not like it, but it has me in tears all the time, especially because I love the Old Testament so much and it comes alive in this book. Many people hate the idea of a “chosen people”, it is even politically incorrect to talk of such, but I have no problem with it.
The way Obama’s church keeps hammering about the bad things of the past, case in point Israel’s role in Apartheid SA, you would think people in SA hates Isreal.
Nay not so, it is in SA that my love for Israel was born, exactly because of the way my black preachers present her to us.
Enough said.
July 7th, 2008 at 1:29 pm
should read : presented her to us.
July 8th, 2008 at 10:45 am
Obama has already done another flip-flop. One day he talks about ‘refining’ his foreign policy position and will talk to the generals; next day he distances himself from all that and says the media misunderstood him and is trying ‘to calibrate’ his agenda.
Oh, he has an agenda alright–and foreign policy is way at the bottom, if there at all.
July 9th, 2008 at 1:18 pm
I remember approx. a year before 9/11 watching a television program…
They spoke about exactly what happened…and I wish I could remember the program…
It was a couple of guys, talking about the towers and planes…
Do you remember, or know of what I’m talking about, Art?
Now did they ‘inspire’ what happened, did they put those thoughts into someone’s head?
This is true, and sure wish someone would research this…like you!
Reminds me of ‘That Last Book In The Bible.’
Not the forboding or warning, but the ‘idea’ and ‘inspiration.’
Really I did see a program on TV with 2 guys talking about how easy it would be to take down the twin towers…
Dear Art,
I wonder what ‘network’ that was on…but it really doesn’t matter, now does it?
July 9th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
Anyone watch the tribute to Beatty?
Be careful not to believe everything you read…or see…they’re acting, don’t you know!!!
But be mindful some will take an ‘idea,’ and ‘run with it.’
Some people are crazy with hate, and some are crazy in love.
Isabel, I was not comparing you in anyway to Iraq.
I just feel that we should finish what we start, and we should start what we need to finish.
July 9th, 2008 at 7:47 pm
Sarafina #88
You must mean ‘Israel, My Beloved’ and I am happy you are reading about the history of Israel because it goes way way back, as you know.
As for Apartheid–the accusation is that Israel did business with the government of SA as far as weapon sales etc. Israel has extensive ties with other nations today and also in the past–India is a very big ally of Israel. Israel is in the business of DEFENSE, a tiny nation surrounded by hostile enemies who have never accepted her historical presence in today’s world among the nations. A tiny nation too small to have a large standing army, thus the 2 year draft at 18 BEFORE college and a large reserve army–a nation of citizen soldiers.
July 9th, 2008 at 7:50 pm
Sarafina #86
I agree about the underestimation by the Democratic party of it’s member. I suppose they believe it will be a lockstep battalion of sheeple flocking to Obama and putting Hillary out of their minds forever. What a shock it will be for these ‘leaders’ who rely on old messages that may have meant something years ago–the old legacy messages–but lack substance in today’s world.
July 10th, 2008 at 2:53 am
Rachelle,
I too have always been a Democrat and the only time I’ve ever voted for a Republican was for a couple of friends in local elections.
I will be voting for McCain and I will not change my mind about that come election time.
Every time I hear Obama say something, he ALWAYS says the complete opposite the next time he talks about it. On July 3rd he talked about something in one place and later that same day in another place, he flip flopped on it and now I can’t remember what it was even about, lol. But he just cannot be trusted. He’s all over the place.
Sarafina, I really don’t know why any Jew would ever vote for Obama, but I have heard of alot that are going to vote for him. Why, I don’t know. I wouldn’t if I was a Jew. Gee, I’m not voting for him anyway, lol.
Obama had been a Palestinian sympathizer up until recently. I still think he is, but he’ll let people think he’s for Israel to get the Jewish votes. Anyone who votes for this guy is crazy.
Wake up America! Pull all that fuzzy wool away from your eyes and see this guy for the wolf in sheep’s clothing that he is.
Over the 4th, my youngest son who works for the senate in D.C. came up and we had a heated “discussion” about Obama, lol. He went from supporting Hillary to supporting Obama and he about flipped when I told him my husband and I were voting for McCain, lol.
July 10th, 2008 at 3:38 am
What joy the news brought on Reverend Jackson’s displeasure with Obama’s “talking down.” It was almost as funny as Candid Camera. Listening to Jackson’s long-winded explanation and apologies to Obama was priceless. And then, of course, Fox News had to bring Sharpton in for his two cents.
If Obama rises to the throne, he will probably see that a law is passed requiring daily apologies in all “57″ states newspapers by its citizens to Obama for whatever slight somoene may have uttered, that particular day which may have offended Obama.
If Obama were criticized as harshly as President Bush is criticized on a daily basis, there would be daily riots instigated by Sharpton and Jackson, demanding that the offending person be beheaded.
July 13th, 2008 at 10:47 pm
Now I’m flipping channels back and forth to watch FOX and CNN…
Daughters of Legacy and The Tribute to Tony Snow…
Gosh this is great stuff and I wish these 2 channels weren’t competing…
Maybe I’ll get to see the repeats and listen to every word.
And then there was that ‘Intertainment Show’ with the ‘Wives of the Candidates’…
Makes me wish we could have more than one President and/or a Republican and a Democrat on the same ‘Ticket.’
…meanwhile Iran is testing 1 2 3…
I guess…tick tock?
I was wondering where I might find ‘The Pattern’ for those robes?
July 15th, 2008 at 5:23 pm
Joni,
I honestly don’t understand the love affair the Dems are having with Obama, other than they are thrilled to put an African American out as presidential candidate…nothing else matters to them, including winning. They can live off this kind of legacy for another 40 years just as they did with Civil Rights.
It is noble and cute–but what about the REST OF AMERICA? What about the country as a whole? What about Global Terrorism in the 21st century?
I have no answers–not yet, anyway.
July 16th, 2008 at 7:21 pm

It is easy to find the pattern for those robes. Contact the Obama compaign.

Oops, I meant campaign, of course!

I am sorry to hear your son has been brainwashed. If Jim Jones could turn minds into playdoh, I guess so can anyone else.
Obama is described as charismatic. That’s funny. I have had the priviledge of marrying two “charismatic” men. Must be why I would like to wave a magic wand and turn the Obamas of this world into a ball of dust.

Tony Snow was an awesome person.

It seems to me we have reached the end.
No more news on the Howard matter.
Obama, the God, the King, His Majesty reigns!….

A Skeptical Audience Awaits Obama in Israel
http://www.forward.com/articles/13806/
“Polls indicate that Israelis evince some of the lowest levels of support for Obama of any country in the world. In France and Germany, both stops on Obama’s tour, respectively 65% and 67% of the population has said that they would vote for him if they could. By contrast, in Israel, where he is due for 24 hours on July 22 to July 23, only 27% of the respondents said that they would like to see him become president, with John McCain being the preferred choice of 36%, according to a poll published at the end of June in the right-leaning Makor Rishon newspaper.”
July 21st, 2008 at 11:13 am
Isabel,
LOL, my son hasn’t been brainwashed about Obama, he’s just a died in the wool Democrat. I used to be that way too, when I was younger.
My one sister is exactly like him. I swear she’d vote for the devil if he was running as a Democrat. I know she’s voting for Obama, but my other two aren’t. They probably won’t vote at all, but I’m still going to vote for McCain.
We don’t have much of a choice, unfortunately.
July 21st, 2008 at 11:43 am
Rachelle,
I agree with you, but I think it’s alot more than just the Dems that are supporting Obama. I mean of course they are, but I don’t know if they could have pulled it off if they didn’t have the unwavering support of these cable “news” shows that have been glorifying Obama from the get-go. It almost seems like Obama is the anti-Christ to me. Everyone will be taken in by the anti-Christ, and that’s what’s going on with Obama. I mean, everyone is going out of their way to get him in the White House, never mind the fact that he has ties to the very people who would love to bring this country down and never mind the fact that he has no experience.
I do think alot of it has to do with being liberal and wanting to be the first party who supports a black candidate. I think it’s wrong to go with a black just because he’s black. I’m certainly not putting blacks down at all, but just to put any black in is not a good idea. We need one who is qualified. And you are right, the rest of America will have to live with it also.
It’s really racist in my opinion to try to put in a black just because he’s black and that has to be what is going on here, because this guy does not have the credentials for being president of the USA.
I still will not let go of the fact that he listened to Rev. Wright for 20 years of hate preaching. That has to mean something. If you didn’t believe in that sort of “preaching” then you’d find another church. Also listening to that kind of talk for 20 years would have to instill the same kind of reasoning and passion into all the people who go to that church and stay in it.
This is the first time I’ve broken away from my party except as I’ve stated before, I voted for a couple of my friends who ran for local offices. I’ve never voted for a Rep. president before, but I will be this time.
I’m liberal to a certain degree but am probably much more conservative even though I’ve always been a Dem. My one son once accused me of being a conservative, lol. He was serious too and I just laughed, lol.
July 21st, 2008 at 11:48 am
Isabel,
I don’t know how they are seeing that Obama is charismatic. I watch him closely, just the way we all did with Howard, and what I’m seeing is a very arrogant, angry man who doesn’t give one whit for this country.
I do fear what he will do if he becomes our next president. He’s far too sympathetic with all the wrong people and that should scare the living daylights out of every American.
This guy is even more scary than Jim Jones, because he has the potential of doing more harm to millions of people.
July 21st, 2008 at 3:50 pm
Dear Rachelle,
That was an ‘entertaining’ link.
Young Obama has a lot of potential, to change his mind.
Sure would be nice in a perfect world to have a black president, and hopefully, we won’t have one that blames the past on this generation.
July 24th, 2008 at 9:42 am
You know I think we might as well hand it to Obama…he deserves ‘it’ maybe…
Be careful what you wish for…
I don’t think he or his wife are much thinking about their daughters…except they’ll have a bunch of money…
But what about parents?
And, the Republican can retire with dignity intact without the hassle, and the press.
Once again I say…
Be Careful What You Wish For…
Does he care more for his family, or his country, or his religion, or his race, or the money and the inheritance?
Why on earth does, or would anyone want to be THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?
Who will be their “Tony Snow?”
July 27th, 2008 at 3:28 pm
I love to read all your comments.
I have been attacked and humiliated very much for my anti-Obama stance and decided to keep my thoughts to myself.
It just proves to me what kind of a president Obama will be. His supporters are like him, if you do not agree with him, then there is no end to the suspicion and rumors that will be spread about you.
I so agree with all of you and admire your courage to continue to speak out against the Messiah. I will shut up, my family comes first.
One last thing, one person in Isreal did told him “Jerusalem is not for sale” The media will not report on that!
Obama is the most racist candidate I have ever seen and he gets away with it, because he is black!
As a black I could have joined the Obama-mania, but well, I was never one to follow like sheep.
July 27th, 2008 at 4:19 pm
Apology - I believe there are some good sincere people supporting Obama. Apologies to them. I should have said “some” Obama supporters.
But it does seem that most of his supporters attacks you the moment they find out you are not under his spell. And I thought America has a democracy.
One of my friends are soooo concerned that Obama will be assisinated - that is all she can talk about! Their tactic is that Obama is always the victim - and I don’t see Obama complaining!
July 27th, 2008 at 4:33 pm
Ooops, or is it dyed in the wool? LOL That’s an expression I’ve heard all my life, but never really knew if it’s dyed or died.
I just asked my hubby and he said he thinks it’s dyed, lol. I told him I had put died, lol.
Anyway you get the message, lol.
July 27th, 2008 at 4:59 pm
I saw over the weekend that Obama had said that as commander in chief, he would overrule the military. That made my blood run cold. We already had Bush overruling everyone, including all our allies, by starting a war that should never have been started, and now we’ll have another one even more dangerous.
He will do whatever pleases HIM (and his chosen ones) if he becomes president and the hell with everyone else. The whole world would not be safe with him in office. This man really does scare the crap out of me, to put it a bit indelicately.
Has anyone really been watching him closely? He is so sure of himself and is so arrogant and so full of himself, it just scares me to even watch him anymore. He always has that chin and nose up in the air. He’s going around acting like he’s already president. I’ve never, in my 62 years, seen any presidential candidate act like Obama!
I’d love to bring him down to size. I’d love to smack that smug air of superiority right off his face. The taller they stand, the harder they fall and I’m just waiting for his fall. It would serve him right. I have a humble pie, I’d like to cram down his throat, lol.

You are a blessing.
Only you can say some of the things you say, no-one else will get away with it LOL You are keeping us real!
Joni
As long as you and your family agree to disagree about politics. I am also the only one in my household that is not an Obama supporter.
If only our friends could also be as understanding.
We recently had an unpleasant experience with dear friends when the discussion turned to politics. Long story short, it was a MISTAKE!
In this small community-oriented city you need all the goodwill you can get, so for the sake of family it is better to shut up. Family comes first.
Rachelle
Apparently and Israeli reporter asked Obama what he will do to avoid another holocaust.
Obama apparently ignored the question twice and the third time said it was not the place to discuss it. Only thing is, they were at the Holocaust Musuem, what better place to discuss it!

Rachelle
Thanks for the very interesting article!
The American media will never give you something as objective as this.
I liked the following parts, which are exactly my
thoughts also:
“The primary concern is that the dialogue with Iran, which Obama has proposed, will be used by its president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, “as camouflage for nuclear enrichment,” according to Oren”
“Experts point out that things would be very different if antipathy toward Obama were limited to his natural opponents on Israeli’s right wing, leaving the left wing — as one may expect it to be — broadly supportive. But he suffers because the concerns about him appear, in many instances, to transcend right-left divisions”
“Brown, at Herzaliya, postulated that Obama is in Israel not for Israelis but for the sake of American Jews: “He will be shaking hands of Israelis, but really he will be shaking hands with American Jews.””
August 1st, 2008 at 2:21 pm
Sarafina,
Yes, I keep track of the Israeli online media as well as the Forward which is an American publication but also track Israel and Michael Oren (from the article) is an Israeli. Israel’s concerns are my concerns too. I think the biggest hypocrisy by Obama thus far is the Berlin fiasco which hardly resonated among Americans and really was meant to impress Europeans. Campaigning in Europe? YIKES!
His latest baloney about not looking like the Founding Fathers on our currency is just over the top, like WHO looks like any of them? Or who CARES?
Too much playing of the race card.

I understand your frustration.
I have a song for Obama:
“Don’t fly too high my little bird, if you try you may get hurt, you may burn your wings when your reach for the sun.
Don’t fly too high my little bird, your lonely cry won’t be heard, you’ll be tumbling down to the ground cause PRIDE WILL HAVE ITS FALL”

Joni
That is the lyrics from a song by Joanne Field, I think she is a South African singer, I was never sure, cause she is white so I could never really tell.
There is a German version of the song also. It is titled “Vlieg nicht so hoog mein kleine vogel” or something, German and Dutch sound so funny LOL
But I immediately regretted posting the lyrics, it may be taken out of context, you know.
My point was that when we become too proud and arrogant we set ourselves up for failure.
August 4th, 2008 at 12:16 am
Sarafina,
I’m sorry you have to keep silent about how you feel about Obama, but I certainly understand about family.
I haven’t heard from my one sister since we had emailed back and forth a little about Obama, lol. I just never replied to her last very heated email, or we would still be battling it out over cyberspace, lol. She’s a total fanatic and totally unreasonable, so it’s best to let it go. She’s one of those, who, no matter what you say, will twist it all around and believe whatever she wants to believe. As for my son, he knows I’ll vote for whomever I think is best and as long as we don’t talk about it, it will be ok, lol.
I still have a Hillary bumper sticker on my car, lol, given to me by my son, who is now throwing his support to Obama (actually to the Dem. party). I’ve never put one on my car before, but would love to find a Nobama one to put beside it, lol. I wonder if anyone has made any of those, lol. If they did make them and I displayed it, some Obama sympathizer would probably rear end me, lol.
It does seem that anyone who supports Obama, is so ready to attack those of us who don’t support him. I’ve never seen the like of this in all my life over a candidate. This all seems so unreal. I’ve also never seen any candidate avoid answering so many important questions before and to me that is very scary. No one seems to be noticing that fact; the media just lets it slide, rather than press for an answer.
People just aren’t thinking straight and it’s about time they had better start. This guy really freaks me out.
August 6th, 2008 at 10:44 am
Sarafina,
Those lyrics are so apt for Obama and I understood the meaning clearly. If others don’t then they aren’t looking very hard.
Thank you for posting them. Also don’t ever be afraid of saying what you believe in. Don’t let anyone keep you down.
I do understand about family though, but anywhere else, just say what you think is right and never mind what the small minds think.
My family always tried to silence me, but I refused to be silenced just because I see things in a different light. It’s not easy, but I won’t be silenced, not until I draw my last breath on this earth.

I honestly think it is very dangerous to put anything anti-Obama, whether it is a bumper sticker or a t-shirt on. From what I have seen you will make yourself a target for attack.
I love it that McCain has finally woke up!
August 10th, 2008 at 1:15 am
Joni:
You can walk into a sign-making store and order your own bumber sticker. I did and it only took them a few minutes. I have thought of an anti-Obama sticker but I cannot afford to have someone destroy my car. The other day I saw a young lady wearing a shirt with Obama’s face on it and I almost gagged.
August 15th, 2008 at 1:34 am
Sarafina and Isabel,
We drove to Savannah at the end of March and beginning of April and just came back from the Smoky Mountains in Tn last week and I have my Hillary bumpersticker on my car. I saw another one just like it in the Smokies, lol.
At least no one did anything to my car, but you are probably right, if I put on a Nobama sticker on, someone would surely do something to my car or me.
I’ve never seen such a thug running for president in all my life along with all the thugs he has running his campaign. This guy is so corrupt it’s scary to even think he could end up being president of this country.
August 19th, 2008 at 11:36 am
Sarafina and Isabel, you are right. I think it’s wise not to put a Nobama sticker on my car.
I read somewhere online where a lady who was wearing a Hillary T-shirt got roughed up. Think what it will be like if he becomes president.
No one will be allowed to do or say anything against him. Scary! We will no longer have the freedom of speech or press.
August 19th, 2008 at 4:48 pm
Now they blame McCain for Obama’s pathetic performance at Sattleback Church!
By now we all know after his last debate with Hillary that he is just not good at debating or talking without a script.
What a pathetic man! It at least he can stop blaming others for his mistakes I can respect him. I actually feel sorry for him.
August 20th, 2008 at 2:41 pm
Ooops, Saddleback, not Sattleback, lol.
August 20th, 2008 at 2:48 pm
Ooops, that was Sarafina that spelled it that way, not me. I need to start wearing my reading glasses, lol.
