A star without a tawdry scandal hardly a headline makes.
Unless he happens to play Everywoman’s dream boy toy in “Sex and the City,’ Jason Lewis, who offered The Bald Truth younger guy, older woman advice from playing the love interest of a voracious man-eater named Samantha, aka actress Kim Cattrall, in the HBO series and now the much anticipated Big Screen version that hit theaters this weekend.
“Can you learn something from an older woman?” he said, repeating my question. “I think you can learn something from anyone who’s got experience, I don’t care who that is.”
As for younger guy- dating older women tips, Lewis advised “be honest, be straight up,” never “lie about love” to an older woman, and “try not to be judgmental. Not everyone has to be (like) you to be okay.”
Lewis also filled in the blanks of an impressive acting career that disillusioned him until he dropped out for a three month, life-altering camping trip across the U.S. and Canada in the mid 90s, ditched cell phone and credit cards and learned how little he needed to live and be happy.
“You got your happiness, you’ve got your abundance,” he says.
Refueled, he hit New York, auditioned for a new cable series, and his Sex in the City roll.
Asked about his chemistry with Cattrall, all he would say was “Thank God for her.”
As engaging on screen as off, Lewis charmed cameras, including ours, at the red carpet Thursday night for the equally boffo opening of Atlanta’s midtown luxury W hotel, that served up other TV, sports and music stars, VIP chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, a feast for one thousand guests and a hip, high-tech Whiskey Park bar that looked like a set for Sex in the City, where gossipy, girly girls meet to share lives and dreams of better ones.

Art, I was happy to see this guy found out that you don’t need alot of money or things, to be happy. Actually none of that can “make” you happy. Happiness is so much more than that. The simplest things can make a person happy, unless they are so spoiled rotten and then, nothing will ever “make” them happy. That is something that has to come from within, and some of these people don’t have a clue what that is. I guess maybe that’s why they drink and do drugs, because they THINK they are feeling happy then. It’s really so sad.
I hope this man won’t let fame spoil what he has learned about himself. I hope he doesn’t let fame ruin him.
This guy is cute, but not nearly as cute as Howard. Howard would be hard to beat, if even possible (which I doubt very much). I wonder how he is doing, by the way. I hope he still knows that he has alot of people who love him and support him and think of him and always will. I hope he knows there are some people who can’t be bought.
And can you learn something from an older woman? Of course you can, Art. We are full of lifetime experiences, reason, and hopefully a little wisdom, too.

I was sad to see that Samantha and him split up in the movie, he calmed her down. Maybe if they make a sequal they will find each other again. They made a good couple.
