AJC’s Peach Buzz Gets The Bald Truth Buzzing!

The Atlanta Journal Constitution’s snappy Peach Buzz columnist provocateur, Richard Eldredge, was kind enough to hype us a kudo on the James Brown II DNA scoop…He wrote:
“DNA DOESN’T LIE
Former CNN-er turned Atlanta blogger Art Harris has The Associated Press and “Entertainment Tonight” eating his dust after he broke news on his Web site: Peter Shahid, an attorney for James Brown II’s guardian, confirms to the AP Harris’ report that the boy is the late singer’s son.
Brown II is the son of Tomi Rae Hynie, a former backup singer for the Godfather of Soul.
The results of a second, court-ordered test have not been released.
Trustees handling Brown’s estate have suggested Hynie was not legally married to Brown and her boy is not his son. They were not mentioned in Brown’s will.
A call to a spokesman for Hynie and a message left for Brown’s trustees were not immediately returned.”

To me Tome Rae Hynie was treated with disrespect,from the Brown,family,from the beginning,James Brown married and had a child,that child not only deserves ,love from aunts uncles grandmother,but should be included in any will.I hope the child grows up,and makes his career singing.and make his dad,dance in heaven.

I for one was very happy to read the report on your website as the story broke my heart when it first came out.
I was on her side from the start as I was on Howard’s side from the start. The injustice that was done to her and Howard, they were not even allowed to grieve the loss of their loved-ones because of other people’s greed.
Please keep us informed. She should insist that the other “children” are also tested. It is just fair.
