Obama-Hillary, Rev. Wright’s controversy, the flailing economy and Iraq all took a backseat to what appeared to be a Paula Abdul meltdown on America Idol Tuesday night, the country’s most popular television show, and sent Hollywood reporters scrambling to crack the mystery of the superstar singer’s mis-speaks judging contestants.
But celebrity judge Abdul says last minute format changes not only confused her, but also unsettled host Ryan Seacrest, and fellow judges Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell, and re-opened the door for rumors she’d been drinking or taking prescription drugs for chronic back pain from a plane crash 12 years ago. She’s a teacher on a mission, and it’s not hooked on phonics.
Now we know why Stephanie Ragusa was so popular with boys at her Tampa middle school; at least two students became her boy toys, say police, who busted the 28 year old brunette again Tuesday and charged her with two counts of sex with a minor and one count of lewd and lascivious battery, all stemming from alleged flagrante with a 15 year old boy. With Sen. Hillary Clinton blasting away at Sen. Barrack Obama on the eve of the crucial Pennsylvannia primary to rescue what she considered, once, hers for the asking –the Democratic party nod for President—we had to ask maybe the top political correspondent in the country, CNN’s John King, do they actually hate each other?Â
“While they publically say they’re friends when this started, the question is will they be friends when this is over,” the veteran politico told The Bald Truth in an exclusive interview in Las Vegas, where we caught up with him at a National Association of Broadcasters campaign roundtable. Barack’s Take On Why Small Town Pa. May Be Anti-Obama

Maybe they’re just not into him? And some rejection doesn’t mean what he thinks, or does it?
Listen to the speech that some pundits rail could derail Barack Obama and provoke small town white backlash when the candidate needs it most to maintain his lead over Hillary. Read the rest of this entry »

A key witness in the Anthony Pellicano wiretap trial, a former Los Angeles Times reporter who got a dead fish wrapped in a newspaper as a warning to stop writing about a Pellicano client, is now caught in the cross-hairs of two journalists once working with her on a book about the case — until she called it off.
It’s all in the latest dispatch from our intrepid trial correspondent, veteran PI John Nazarian, who has been sitting in the courtroom and lays out the lilterati war between ex LAT reporter Anita Busch, the dead fish target, Dan Modea, a veteran investigative journalist, and another writer, John Connolly, frequent Vanity Fair contributor. LOS ANGELES, April 10–It’s 8:50 a.m. and guess who walks into the Anthony Pellicano federal wiretapping trial… Hollywood Superagent Michael Ovitz, nicely dressed and with two lawyers,”Suits!”
He is well spoken, but does the “my lawyers took care of it” routine.
On Thursday, lucky Anthony Pellicano had 28 charges against him and a co-defendant dropped, but he’s still facing more than 35 other counts dropped by prosecutors, and Hollywood superstar clients like Ovitz keep the revolving star door spinning at the courthouse, all of them rather dismayed the guy they hired to snoop on others recorded their conversations, too.
Ovitz was the founder of Creative Artist Agency and after 21 years moved to work at Disney in October 1995. The big move would cost Disney millions as things did not work out, and they paid Ovitz to leave…and leave he did with the bank he towed behind his car! Read the rest of this entry »

It’s no comedy special, and painful to hear, comedian Chris Rock on audio tape introduced as evidence in the federal wiretap trial of PI Anthony Pellicano.
The Pellican caught his comedy client on tape as the investigator reads from an illegally obtained LAPD report about a Hollywood model out to sucker punch the celeb with a paternity claim that went nowhere.
That’s Rock above with his now estranged wife; pix of the model are a bit too racy even for The Bald Truth to publish.
Watch Howard K. Stern’s Live Interview with Greta Van Susteren, Part One Above; Rest Inside!

It was a first in Anna Nicole Smith FOX News media coverage, and a surprise to a guest who expected a knife in the heart, or stab in the back, on a show that’s been a revolving door for attackers calling Howard K. Stern every name in the book.
Hold the presses: was that Stern, Anna Nicole’s executor and lawyer, live and on the air with host Greta Van Susteren Tuesday? Indeed, only this time it was different.
Howard talked and Greta listened. “I think she treated me fairly,” Anna Nicole executor Stern told me in an exclusive interview after the show. Take a look at our clips from Greta –more on the next page –and tell us how you felt the interview went. Read the rest of this entry »
Chris Rock and Alleged Hollywood Honey Trap Named Monika
By John Nazarian, (c) www.artharris.com, all rights reserved
LOS ANGELES, April 5—-It is almost 8:05 AMÂ and (comedian) Chris Rock teeters into the room…
He walks as if he is approaching an electric chair. You cannot hear, “I do,” as in to tell the truth, and he sits like a 4th grader having to go and tinkle….he may be funny at times, but he is not funny today…he looks to be recovering from a stroke! His responses are low and garbled and the judge tells him to speak up.
Ironically his testimony comes in the middle of his “No Apologies” tour. Maybe no apologies … probably many regrets! Read the rest of this entry »

While FOX News is promoting Howard K. Stern’s live Tuesday night interview with Greta Van Susteren as “shocking” before the first word has been uttered, perhaps the biggest shock of all is that Anna Nicole Smith’s lawyer and longtime companion accepted an invite to go on a talk show he’s declined until now.
Many of his critics have grown uncharacteristically silent, or at least subdued, since the Bahamas inquest jury into the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel, last week ruled the 20 year old with a history of depression and drug issues, died of an accidental drug overdose that Stern, nor anyone else, had anything to do with.
