Here’s what Bianca Symonette reports in Tuesday’s Nassau Guardian:
“The inquest into the death of Daniel Smith, the 20-year-old son of the late actress and model Anna Nicole Smith, resumed on Monday. Larry Birkhead, father of Anna Nicole’s one-year-old daughter Dannielynn, took the witness stand and gave evidence indicating that Daniel had stolen a bottle of methadone from his mother’s medications.
According to Anna Nicole’s former lover, during the Easter weekend in April 2006, Anna Nicole noticed that a bottle of her methadone medication was missing, after she returned from spending a few days in a hotel in California. Birkhead said Daniel was the only one at home at the time, but he denied taking the medication.
“Anna did not believe that he was telling the truth, so we reviewed the home security tape and observed Daniel moving the methadone. Anna told Daniel she saw the tape with him taking it, but Daniel still did not admit to moving it,” Birkhead said.
He added that Daniel had two friends over when the incident happened, and after he searched the lower level of the house where Daniel stayed, he observed alcohol bottles in the garbage and stated that it appeared as if ’someone had a party’.
Milton Evans, the attorney of Virgie Arthur, Anna Nicole’s mother, attempted to give another reason why the methadone went missing in the home. Evans asked Birkhead if he had taken medication from Anna Nicole to prevent her from using it, and he responded yes.
Evans pointed out that while Daniel took the bottle of medication, the tape never revealed him consuming the medication, therefore the attorney suggested that Daniel may have moved the medication to prevent his mother from taking it.

My suggestion to Mr Evens, Virgies lawyer is,WHY would Daniel move the bottle so his mother could not get it,all Anna would have to do is call the doctors,there was meds around all the time.why this time when daniel was there with friends would he touch her meds daniel was in the apartment with his friends,drinking,WHY would they leave a empty bottle,I still feel Daniel,was having trouble growing into a adult.If that girl was his first love,everyone has been through this,there is nothing like your first love.if virgie was not trying so hard to (GET HOWARD),this problem is going on everywhere.DID ANYONE NOTICE,LARRY AND HOWARD BOTH LOOKED SAD,VIRGIE HAD A BIG SMILE FOR THE CAMERA.

It would make sense to me that Daniel was not concerned about the security camera nor that his mother would “spy” on him. Even though there may have been tension between them, Daniel trusted and loved Anna enough to believe it was safe for him to do whatever he wanted. As proof is the fact he had some kind of party he knew he was not supposed to have.

We all know Howard is sad and devastated by the hell he has been put through, and as Daniel’s friend and father figure, he would never have allowed the public to pour over his family’s dirty laundry. Yes, Anna and Daniel were his family.
Larry realizes his daughter will be forever saddled with the filth Dannielynn’s grandmother laid out for the public’s consumption, delight and ridicule. He has some tough explaining to answer Dannielynn’s future questions.
Virgie was not smiling for the cameras. She was actually grimacing as she rushed out to empty her shoes of the razor sharp pebbles she accidentally acquired while walking on the beach before appearing in court. That early morning walk is the time reserved for going over the daily routine with paid bloggers.

This is going to be a he said she said thing for a long time no one is going to accept accountability for this or take responsibility for it. How do we know that Daniel did not sell this drug to his buddies, street value on that drug alone is high. This story is getting more and more twisted by the minute. The kid died from an overdose that he took alone for whatever reason and he ain’t coming back.
This is a never ending story and I hope it takes so long that Virgie learns a hard lesson here, mind your own business better otherwise it will mind you. In other words family is the most important thing you got nothing else matters, once it is gone there is nothing left for you to
mourn.

# 5 Save, Larry may have suggested she set up a web cam to see who was doing it. Larry didn’t strike me as liking Daniel anyway when he called him “that kid” after Daniel’s death.Just a thought.

flowerz You know I had the same thought after seeing her and it did look like she lost weight.My first thought was maybe she is using trimspa and hoping they see her smiling for the camera and will offer her a job.LOLI also noticed that she finially had her husband pose for an ap picture.She must be reading the bloggs asking where he was.
