The Bald Truth: Meet The New “Love Guv!”

With one departing governor’s call girl scandal still buzzing, now incoming New York Gov. David Paterson confesses he’s had flings outside the bonds of marriage, too.
It’s almost too much sex scandal in one state to digest. Another Love Guv from New York!
Not only that, Paterson’s wife has also confirmed she’s an extra-marital wanderer, too, according to The New York Daily News.
The News called it “a stunning revelation,” with both Paterson, 53, and his wife, Michelle, 46, confirming in “a joint interview they each had intimate relationships with others during a rocky period in their marriage several years ago.”
About nine years ago, Paterson said he had an 2-3 year affair with “a woman other than my wife,” he told the News, overnighting with his Other Woman at an upper West Side hotel — the Days Inn at Broadway and W. 94th St., the same hotel his Albany staff also used when they tromped to the Big Apple for a big time.
The Paterson’s bared their marital souls in interviews just hours after the new Lov Guv was sworn in to take over the state helm after Elliot Spitzer resigned to heal his heeling ways.
There’s good news, though: no one has accused Paterson, or Spitzer, of spending public funds to indulge in private flagrante.
Yet.
“This was a marriage that appeared to be going sour at one point,” Paterson told the Daily News in his first interview last Saturday. “But I went to counseling and we decided we wanted to make it work. Michelle is well aware of what went on.”
In a second interview with Paterson and his wife Monday, only hours after he was sworn in to replace scandal-scarred Eliot Spitzer, Michelle Paterson confirmed her husband’s account.
The new love guv may be legally blind, but we’re delighted he can see where he’s going these days, and that he’s open and honest out of the starting gate.
“I betrayed my commitments to my wife a few years ago,” Paterson said at a press conference, “but I feel I did not betray my commtments to New York state.”

It certainly sounds like New York is a swing place. lol
Someone asked him why he was coming out with this news now? He said “no one asked me before”, I didn’t want to be blackmailed”.
I suppose confession is good for the soul.

Maybe a lot of people will come out if they think someone could find out what was going on not just in NY but it is all over IMO we only hear about it because it or rather Spritzer and him are superdelagates. Look at what came out about Mr Clinton when he was governor and no one came forward about until after Monica came out about herself and him.We need more people in government that have higher morals than we have seen in some, but than again we all just keep electing them to office just to keep the status quo

If he and his wife both had extra marital affairs while separated and contemplating divorce, and each expected it, I can live with that — like my opinion on the subject matters, right?
