So true, we should not get hardened to bad language.

I am around young people a lot and I wish their parents took better care of them, with most of them, their language is straight from the gutter, so sad, and English is such a beautiful language.

I think you and I are so much alike and it’s so nice to know that there is at least one other person out there that thinks like me and isn’t afraid to say it. Weak people will go along with the crowd. I would much rather stand alone, if need be, than to do what everyone else is doing, if I don’t think it’s right. I’ve been laughed at before for standing for what I believe in, but I never let that change the person I am. Maybe I’m just to stubborn, lol.

You are always like a breath of fresh air, Anne, and it’s certainly good to breathe some fresh air with all this pollution that we have to put up with nowadays and I’m not talking about air pollution, lol.

I had to laugh at Flowerz’s comments about monitoring my kid’s on what they pull up on the computer. And I have absolutely no idea what makes her think they are interested in crime stories, lol. My “children” are no doubt older than she is, lol, and as far as I know they aren’t interested in crime stories. Where ever did that come from, lol.

And to Flowerz: When my kids were growing up, as I said before, they didn’t have a computer.
My kids grew up the old fashioned way. They had games, books and bicycles and such. They swam in the community pool in the summer with the other kids and played in the snow for outdoor activities in the winter. We played games with our kids also. Two of my sons are Eagle Scouts. Scouting was their life and it became my husband’s and mine also. We were very involved in all our kid’s activities as well as their high school sports and little league. There was no time for computers anyway, with all of that going on. I believe these things make for better kids, than computers any day.

Especially when you work in a ‘Morgue.’

Hey, somebody has to ‘do it’ the dirty work, the hard work, the real work…like the garbage men.

You know it’s a good thing if they can move up.

Everyone should take turns.

I was referring to the language JN used in a thread about B. Spears. While you may call it colorful, I call it gutter language. I guess it depends what our standards are.
