The Bald Truth: Beth Twitty on Nancy Grace!

We sat glued to the monitor in the CNN studios, ear piece in place, ready for a Nancy Grace grenade when the new mother of twins softened her voice to ask another mother, Beth Twitty, what she made of her three year journey to learn what happened to her daughter in Aruba, now that prime suspect Joran Van der Sloot had confessed on a hidden camera that he was with Natalie Holloway when she died in May 2005.
“Gosh, Nancy,” she said, a study in poignancy and poise after her battle with Aruban authorities to keep investigating…until learning this week from the mouth of Joran himself he’d had sex with Natalie on the beach, then as she convulsed, and grew quiet—he thought she was dead, but wasn’t sure—carried her with a friend to a boat that took her body out to sea and dumped her.
“If I knew the day I got that call that she was not gathering in the Holiday Inn lobby, if I’d know what was ahead of me, I don’t know if I could have fought as hard as I did,” she said. “I just thought I’d go there and bring her home, go there and find her. I had no idea what was ahead of me…I don’t know if I could have done it.
“Gosh, Nancy, I know from an investigative standpoint, it can take years, 10 years, to solve cases, and some are never solved. But to a Mom, you want answers, and you want them today.”
She said Peter DeVries, the legendary Dutch crime reporter who set up Joran in a hidden camera sting that had him volunteering sick, sordid details of Natalie’s final hour, prepared her first and then showed her his taped interviews before they went public. She said he handled it with such empathy and grace, it helped her cope with what she was about to watch in abject horror, as the man she suspects killed her daughter called her a bitch and a whore.
We’ll learn next week whether an Aruban appeals court will overrule a lower court judge to allow Joran to be arrested yet a third time.
The chief prosecutor, Hans Mos, says the new undercover videotapes made by a Dutch journalist will be good evidence in court, but first he wants Joran arrested and charged, and put behind bars while he waits for his trial.

Christ you must just be shill for Nancy Grace, who STILL needs to have her adenoids removed and also needs to quit letting her cameraman shoot her in profile, since her fat shows up worse that way. Guess that happens though when you’re so smart and sophisticated that you have twins at what 47? Let’s see, old Nance will be 70 when they’re what, in the 10th grade? Do you think that Beth Holloway has a crush on old Nancy poo as well as the Great Greta who she slobbers all over every time the red light comes on. How sickening.

I do admire Beth Twitty,for a mother to go through so much,and still remain as dignified and composed,when she has her whole world turned upside down,is something to be said for her,the child she carried for 9 months,and cared for,and worried about ,to have been taken ,by a cockroach,would be to much for me.Nancy Grace said a correct statement when Van Der Soot claimed he was on drugs when he was talking,this interview took place over several months,he was not using all that time.I think soon Beth can but her mind to rest she now has her answers.

I HARDLY RECOGNIZED THE WOMAN AND UNDERSTAND SHE HAS HAD EXTENSIVE PLASTIC SURGERY. THE WORD IS SHE IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HUSBAND. GUESS IT PAYS TO ADVERTISE.

This is a mother’s worst nightmare…
That some ‘boy’ will hurt ‘her’ little girl.
No matter where your daughter goes, no matter how much ‘care’ you take.
No matter how old they get. No matter how mature or smart they are.
No matter what the possibilites or odds are.
I wish that if someone confessed to a crime, that alone would be enough to prosecute them.

Beth Twitty is a beautiful woman, and is going to forever suffer the loss of a beautiful daughter. A parent should never lose a child ever, it is just not normal. Peter De Vries is a blessed man for doing what he does to end the suffering of people wanting to know. He is forever a hero in my world as is the guy who helped find this out.
Joran unfortunatley is a young man who was not taught how to respect life, women or other living things. His parents are guilty of this his parents were his first teachers, to call a woman a bitch an a whore means he heard his father call his mother that. He is handicapped he does not understand respect, or the word value, life it is just not processed in his world. I bet that is what his lawyer is going to do plea mental instability watch and see.
He is only immitating what he saw as a child, if more investigation were sought on his parents…don’t be surprised if you find a father that was a bully. Bullies are inbreed from families who have a long history of bullies. His responses to that guy were classic when he said he knew how to respond because of his fathers position in the courts. His father should be stripped of this position because he is the coach that taught his son how not to accept responsibility for his actions, his parents have been forever harbouring a behavior issue that was never corrected. I am sure if you really look at this guys past you will see, a pattern of abuse, killing small animals, picking on kids younger than himself, because of his fathers position and it being a small island people are too scared to talk etc etc. He was trained by what he saw, he is only reacting to what he knew, and in the final analasyis I hope they have enough to put this psycopath away for good. Mr an Mrs Van de sloot you failed as his parents but most of all you failed yourselves as parents shame on you!!!

It is clear that Joran’s demeanor changed when Patrick asked him for the name of the person who dumped the body… I am sure that the only person whose name Joran would take to the grave is his father’s. Later he just threw out a name to end the questioning… I also wonder if the body was really dumped in the ocean.. That seemed sort of vague and not convincing. “The ocean is a big place,” he said. - And he seemed to hedge a bit about which phone he used. - I think he thought he was safe with Patrick but he was not completely sure after the steady questioning. Certain details, most of which involve the period after he thought she died, seem fuzzy, probably because they are the details that involve his father.
I hope someone finds a way to put the heat on Joran and his father until they finally tell the truth.

Nancy Grace is controlling herself well these days but I do not expect it to last. I expect a ressurgence of her old self once the twins become more active.
As for her age, though, so what? She has put in a lot more mileage than a younger mother, but a younger mother has a higher chance of getting divorced and being stuck with two little creatures whose needs would overwhelm a divorced, broken-hearted young one whose needs are not being met.
It amazes me how much it troubles men to see a not-so-svelte woman while they, themselves, are often in such dire need of a complete overhaul of body and mind. If the shoe fits, please wear it.

I thought Beth Twitty was going with Jon Benet Ramsey’s faTHER JOHN?? She does’nt look like she had surgery, she has always been a pretty, woman, And why are we dicussing all this gossip? Beth T. has gone through torment, and I hope the authorities, will do the right thing, and arrest his butt. Drugs is no excuse. These guys, were heartless s.o.b’s, and they need to pay. Nancy Grace is not my favorite, and i thought she stung when she talked to Art. I thought having babies would, soften her a bit. But whe does’nt like your stand on things, wham

Response to Clinton Dallas - hmm lets see, obviously your not near as smart as Nancy or Art or you would know that at 70 her children will be 23! Just because you were 23 in 10th grade, that is not the norm, its usually 15!

To the first post. Why would Nancy Grace be not be smart because she had a change of life pregnancy? In an article of “People magazine” that is what happened with Nancy Grace. I may not always agee with Grace, and, at times, have found her to be downright irritating. I have turned off her show when that happens. But it’s downright wrong to judge the woman simply because she conceived later in life, and happens to be an older mom. Why would you have a problem with change of life moms anyway? There are millions
of them in this country and all over the world.

I realize how difficult it has been for Beth but I would feel a lot better if she would allow herself to lose it on occasion just to prove she is human and hurting.

I found what I watched painful! Painful in a away that having to see a show that is after all about Nancy Grace and little else…….it is a sad story……that format is hard to watch and and of course Grace just adds to the pain!
Horrible show, nasty format and just soooo tired! Art your part was just short that of a puppet! You had to feel like you had more to offer than a ‘blip’.

Regarding Beth’s plastic surgery speculation: Even with plenty sleep, compare yourself with and without make-up. Everybody should know that make-up and hair-do makes a HUGE difference. It’s normal for people appearing on TV to have make-up on; after all this time, she also looks more rested.
Some people can be so catty! I don’t care for Nancy’s “I love your show” calling show, but any woman can have kids if they like - she can certainly afford to take good care of them. As for twins at “her age”, I don’t think Nancy magically told herslf to have twins; she just got lucky that she has one of each sex.

be totured? Can water boarding be done on him? Maybe some officials should tie him up and keep kicking him in the balls until he confesses what he did to Holloway’s body. Some law officical should beat the livig s–t out of him until he confesses! I would be willing to stand there and keep and keep kicking him in the balls until they are so
injured, that they would have to be removed!

My heart goes out to Natalie and her family.I am so disgusted with the legal system in Aruba. What a world disaster this is. The obvious cover up from the beginning on such a high profile case.The whole world sees and knows Jordan is responsible and yet the Aruban authorities & the piece of shi!!!! lawyer from the U.S. at that, has the BS to defend such a poor example of a human being. The courts may not prosecute him .But, don’t be mistaken he will be punished in the end, no doubt.
