The Bald Truth: Britney Spears’ Drug Nightmare; How Parents Got Manager Banned With TRO!
Britney Spears Does “I’m A Slave 4 U, Las Vegas, 2001

To save their daughter, Britney’s life, her mother, Lynne Spears details the alleged drug-induced state her manager, Sam Lufti, tried to juggle, crushing up sleeping pills and mood stabilizers to calm her frenetic state so she could sleep, and using paparazzi to keep tabs on her all-night forays…then daring to warn her parents, if they fired him, she would die and he would “piss on her grave.”
It’s all in Lynne’s shocking sworn statement we’ve obtained that the court weighed in ordering a TRO against Lufti while Britney is in treatment, and back under the watchful eye of her parents and doctors who will try to help keep her demons at bay long enough to wean her from whatever drugs she has been taking.

Wow!! Glad Britney has parents that care. I always liked Britney and hope the very best for her and wish the media would leave her alone.

I read it before on TMZ very sad even sadder that it took so long till he was removed. I say they ship Lufti and that goon Vandewhatever who did poor Natalie Halloway in, and dump them in the ocean far out to sea in the dead of the night…there is never any justice for anyone who treats people like that.
The weirdest thing that Lynn said was, that she was wired the whole night like her friend I would not put it past this Lufti to add something to anything they were drinking.
He is nothing short of a celebrity terrorist.

Hi Art
How sad that is happening and if all that is being said is true that man needs to be put away.
It would sure explain alot of her weird behavior if he was giving her all this medication on top of her other mental problems.
I think for now her parents are doing the right thing as long as there are proper lawyers over seeing her estate so nobody can take advantage of her.
It’s hard to tell if she wants her parents involved or not and it sounds like she is not in the proper state of mind to make that deceision right now, so I think they are doing the best they can under the circumstances.
My thoughts and prayers are with her and I hope she gets well soon.

Thank goodness that you are going to report on this. Maybe the truth will come out now and Britney will get the help she needs. I am so glad that her parents are more involved with all of this now.
February 5th, 2008 at 11:46 pm
I feel quite bad for Brittney. I don’t believe that all of this craziness is her fault as I think she has some real mental problems. I hope that she will really accept help this time and hope she realizes that unless she takes this help she will end up dead.
February 6th, 2008 at 12:38 am
I pray that Britney really get’s the help she needs. I think the paparazzi played a big part in Britney problem I could not understand why the paparazzi was following her everywhere she went taking pictures thats enough to drive anyone crazy, then that jerk kevin taking her kids away from her. and every time you look around he was taking her to court, Britney was being put under presure everyday from the media/praparazzi. I hope that her parents, are not out to take control of her estate for themselfs. I hope Britney see now that being in front of the carmera all the time will do to you.
Good luck! to Britney get youself together for your children, allways put your children first.

How absolutely awful! Poor Britany!
February 6th, 2008 at 12:58 am
It is a great thing if her parents will succeed in getting Sam Lofti out of her life, that piece of crap has had his share of legal problems. Britney’s is just a kid and I do hope she is saved from a copy cat of a Howard K Stern type of a manager.
(edited for implied threats of violence, or comments that could urge other, even less stable individuals, to resort to it against another human being)–ah

This Osama guy needs to be grounded up just like he grounded Britney’s alleged medications. Too much garbage is allowed to enter this country.

I was wondering when Art Harris website would finally write an article about Britney Spears. It’s about time. Spears is the most prominent celebrity in our country at this time, because of her talent, and also because of her public mental deterioration over the past year. It’s a very good thing that her parents got control over her estate, and got rid of the parasites that have been sucking off Spears over the past few months. Kevin Federline also deserves alot of credit, because he has proven to be a concerned and involved
father to his 2 young sons with Spears. Spears parents also support Federline, which speaks volumes. Here’s hoping that Spears remains in care for as long as is needed and makes a full recovery. It would be great to see her be a mom to her kids again, and to see her come back as the popular young popstar she once was. It would have been a tragedy to see end up like Anna Nicole Smith did, because she was certainly
headed in that direction. Thank God an intervention was made in time to have her put into care. I wish Spears the best.

If someone was giving Britney medication (legal or otherwise) on top of her psyc drugs the result could have been a disaster as in death. Additional drugs on top of her psyc drugs may have also exacerbated her perilous mental health state. I am not a fan of her parents but the system seems to have built in checks and balances such as the attorney appointed to work with Mr. Spears.
I am a registered nurse and have a long work history of emergerncy psychiatric intervention. Britney was and is a very sick young woman. I hope that her psychiatrist is excellent and can manage her situation. Bi-polar illness is not too difficult to manage but if she has other behavior and/or drug problems they will complicate her recovery. If she is indeed bi-polar she will most likely require medication for the rest of her life. That can be difficult as some of the bi-polar medication regimes have VERY unpleasant side effects. HUGE weight gain is only one of them.

We see in the Anna N. Smith cases that lies where told all over. We still don’t know all the truth about it(I hope you write a book). Now everyone is jumping on the Brit bandwagon.
Who’s the good guy, who’s the bad guy? Parents that push their daughters into adult careers when their still children. Parents who care less about education? Or managers who are in it for the money. It’s interesting that the public can say so many evil things when no one knows the real truth.

This Sam guy is now trying to broker a deal with media outlets to “tell his story” pls pls pls NO NO NO I sure hope the media outlets and the tabloid mags won’t stoop so low as to allow this “thing” to profit anymore—people should not be able to profit after abusing someone

Page six just said that Brit had her breast enlargered as a teenager but later had them removed because a she matured her own breast got bigger and than she was too big. What parents
allow their daughter to have that kind of surgery at that young an age?

I was so glad to hear that Britney Spears is finially going to get the help she needs..IMO KF did not help her and imo showed no remorse in going after her.I think he had a lot to do with her downfall.it was when he seemed to desert her that she fell apart and having it constantly thrown in you face about an unfaithful husband can be devastating especially if the media also runs with the fact that they say KF only married her for her money and name.No wonder she went down hill so fast. One thing Why would Britney have to send a check to her mother? While I think right now the children are maybe better off with KevinF. IMO right now Britney needs to see those children and I think Federline and the Spears family should come together and see that this happens.I think it would be a big help in her recovery. It is nice to see a family supporting their daughter instead of degrading her every chance they have

The only good thing to come out of Britney’s horror is the fact that maybe those suffering from this horrendous illness can come out of the closet in order to seek and accept treatment.
Hopefully, from now on Britney will have bodyguards to keep away vultures such as Osama. How unbelievable that the scumbag would ground up medication for her to ingest all at once, whether or not it had been prescribed for her. To top it off, that Oscuma freely offered alcoholic drinks he had no business touching.

Ahava, why don’t you stay away where you can enjoy chocolate? None are offered at this site. May you overdose on them.

Britany has been blessed with loving and caring parents.

Sandeana:
I do agree that Kevin Federline deserves credit, as it appears to be he is being a responsible parent. Now he needs to sit back, relax and stop making Britney pay for those monumental legal bills that surely have accumulated after so many court dealings.
I can give him the benefit of a doubt that it was the only course available to him, as Britney’s behavior had deteriorated so badly, it may even have scared her boys at times. As an ex-husband he had no legal right to do what is now being done by Britney’s parents, nor would it have been understood or acceptable by outsiders looking in (or noseying in.)

I have Bipolar Disorder so I know what it can do to you. I also know that even though the medical community says it is one of most treatable mental disorders what they mean is
that there are a lot of different medications that can be used to treat Bipolar Disorder. It does not mean that everyone or even most people will have success with treatment.
The medications that are used to treat Bipolar Disorder can have some very dangerous side effects.
Physical, mental and emotional side effects. Believe me, I know because I have experienced many of them. I have had side effects so bad that I couldn’t walk without a cane and sometimes had to use a wheelchair. I’ve had side effects so bad that I couldn’t write my own name. I am not an isolated case. I have had allergic reactions severe enough to put me in the hospital (not the psychiatric hospital) for 6 days.
Bipolar Disorder is my constant companion. I live with it every day. I am very disciplined
in following my doctor’s instructions in regards to my treatment. I have a psychiatrist as well as a psychologist that treat me for Bipolar Disorder.
Bipolar Disorder is not as easy to treat as some people would try to make you think.
Things are not always as they seem.
Where is the official psychiatric diagnosis on Britney Spears?
Does anyone have proof that she has mental problems?
Does anyone have proof that Britney has Bipolar Disorder also known as Manic-Depressive Disorder?
Britney’s Mom has accused Sam Lufti of giving Britney the medications Seroquel and Risperdel.
Seroquel
http://www.drugs.com/seroquel.html
Risperdel
http://www.info-pharm.com/risperdal/risperdel.html
Seroquel and/or Risperdel can cause some of the behaviors that we have seen in Britney on TV.
The combination of Seroquel and Risperdel especially if not proscribed and supervised by a qualified Psychiatrist can cause all kinds of abnormal behaviors and can even result in death from overdose, suicide or acccidents due to physical impairments that together or alone that they can cause.
How many of you know that manic episodes like those of Bipolar Disorder can be drug induced?
Are you aware that hyperthryroidism (an over active thyroid ) can cause symptoms similiar to Bipolar Mania?
Hpw many of you are aware that depression episodes like those of Bipolar Disorder can be drug induced? Are you aware that hypothyroidism (under active thyroid) can cause symptoms similiar to Bipolar Depression?
February 7th, 2008 at 3:19 am
Sorry! Thought there was an error in submitting my first post so that’s why you got two very similiar ones.
Forgive me for my error and if you pray just take some time and say a prayer for Britney and her family tonight. Britney may be sick or she may have been set up or both.
I just hope that her family can give her the medical treatment and the love and support that she needs. Because even if she’s been getting fed drugs in her food and drinks then she’s probably going to need medical treatment to over come the effects of that.

I’m so sorry that you have to go through all that. Have you heard of E.F.T.? It is amazing all the different things it can help or cure. There is tons and tons of free how to info on the site.A new twist on something the Chinese have been doing for forever.Perhaps it can help you too.
In regards to Brit you have shed a big light on her situation.
If you add to that she’d be out driving around half the night and then up for coffee in the morning. Just when did she really sleep? Her diet seemed to consist of fast food, soda and coffee. Not good for anyone. I’m sure too much caffeine, sugar and sodium would have made the ground drug mix even more potent.

I wish you the very best of luck as you will need all you can get. It’s tough but hang in there and get help, if not for yourself, then your children that love and need you.
