Bald Truth: New York Post Virgie Arthur Scoop: Agent “Hustling” Grandmother’s Media Deals?

The New York Post reports Anna Nicole Smith’s long-estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, “tried to make a fast buck off the death of her grandson, Daniel Smith,” and cites E mails sent to Entertainment Tonight from David Leigh of Splash News on her behalf.
A shocking report in Page Six Monday says the e-mails show Leigh, Splash News Miami bureau chief who escorted Arthur to the Florida trial in February, 2006, and accompanied her to the morgue, offered ET “exclusive rights to her private memorial for Daniel after his drug death in September, 2006.
“She’ll go the Bahamas if you want…She would like to visit the grave, and it would be pretty emotive pix of her doing so,” he wrote ET, according to The Post.
The paper contacted Virgie’s attorney, Neil McCabe, who said he was “unaware” of any deal and that his client would have no comment.

Ms. Virge only see’s money $$signs, thats all Virge want’s. That lady is a poor excuse for a grandmother. With fairness she put in nothing she should get nothing. everyone can see what she is about.if it don’t come with money Ms. Virge don’t want nothing to do with it.

Well that’s an interesting tidbit, isn’t it?
I understand Anna’s life in front of the camera was where she made her money. But not Virgies. In fact the whole entertainment world is condusive to ‘you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours’. Money became a two way street for celebrities but I guess not the first time a bystander propped up a few dollars for their bank account on the misfortune of others. Who would of ever guessed it would be her own mother who would enter the fray?
I always questioned her intentions and those of Larry too. More Larry than Virgie tho. Just cause Virgie was her mother for gosh sake!

This was stated in many of the articles about Virgie:
“She started hawking exclusive access to her own memorial in Mexia for Daniel…”
Just curious, all these articles also say that she started hustling right after Daniel died.
So, here is my question:
With all of these lawsuits she has filed, saying she did not want to be in the ‘public eye’, can’t they FORCE her to tell them exactly how many times she has hustled?
She already admitted on Greta that she got paid $5,000.00 for all of the pictures she had of Daniel, and maybe even of Anna and Daniel. Not sure, as she did not specify in her interview.
Well, Virgie Arthur!! It is no wonder you are not getting any visitation time with your grandaughter! You would have Splash there! Or, have them sell the video of the visit to a larger media outlet.
How dare you go on Fox News a few days ago and talk about Anna’s daughter and drugs. Her eye condition is genetic, and it may not be in your family but it is in Anna’s dad.

I sure hope this is turned over to the courts holding the inquest. Also the newspapers in the Bahama’s, in time to keep VA away from the gravesite, when the headstone are being placed.

HELL NO SHE DOESN’T HAVE A COMMENT. This is the first time she hasn’t spoken. What is she going to say? She didn’t care less about Daniel or Anna. All she saw was looking for was adding to her bank account. There isn’t a time she dosen’t have someone with her filming her or writting about her, which she is getting money for. Did she think her sueing CBS that they didn’t keep her emails asking for compusation to sit on Daniel’s grave and for the funeral she did in Texas. Now watch the SPIN that will come from this artical. Virgiie’s clan must be working overtime trying to cover this one up too. And you know when Anna did the interview about mommie dearest she knew her mom was pimping out for cash to make off her son. Anna had class and she didn’t say anything, bet she wanted to though.

Just to think….all of this disgraceful explosion of bad taste was instigated by the speaking of only a few words, by someone who should never have been given air time: “murder, level the playing field”, etc. IMO The playing field has become pretty slanted and lumpy.

And now we know why Judge Seidlin wrote this in his ruling. He most likely saw the evidence of her lies about Virgie profitting from Daniel’s death.
In addition, the Court finds that Arthur’s testimony to the effect that she had not received and had no anticipation of receiving remuneration arising from the death of Anna Nicole Smith or her subsequent burial to be less than credible.

Her behavior speaks volumes she will never admit that it is her fault for the failure of the relationship between her daughter and grandson, and that she choose to ignore till money was offered to open it up again in V$rg$es vindictive way to get back at Anna.
V$rg$e is a sore loser, she will do anything and everything to prove that someone did her daughter in, instead of realizing what V$rg$es contribution was to end both their lives.
She has to live with it along with the gun that shot her youngest son, all her scummy 5 husbands,her leaving Anna to live with her raped sister from her ex husband,along with her party rules with drugs and booze that Anna saw and learned along the way. Can yall imagine the guilt she must live with opps sorry what guilt, she is expert in passing the buck,$$$$right in her bank account.

It appears that what Howard ssid at Anna’s funeral about he and Anna knowing the truth because they lived it is starting to come out more and more. I believe that Howard and Anna knew about Virgie trying to get a deal with ET as soon as David Leigh approached them representing Virgie. I’m pretty sure that Howard and Anna already had a working relationship with the people at ET. I’d have to spend several hours researching this to see when Anna and Howard first appeared in an interview with ET but I think it was before Dannielynn was born and it was about the paternity test. Does anyone else remember anything about them doing and interview with ET about the paternity test? If not I guess I will have to do some research I don’t want to say for sure that they did without other people remebering it too or without a link to give people so they can read it themselves.

My God, selling reaction photos from the grave of your grandson! I know that we live in a world with 24 hour news cycles and gossip mags and all that, but is nothing sacred anymore? There isn’t a player in this production who isn’t out there for the sole purpose of not having to work honestly for their money. Virgie and Larry with their self produced media deals, Howard with his lawsuits (although the suit against Rita is totally legit and he should get paid for that) and Ford Shelley and Ben Thompson….the list just doesn’t end.

The methadone in the fridge, the boy talking to a detective about him, finding HS in the house with the shrink after ANS died and on and on and on. They got more evedence than the OJ trial but the lawyers are all waiting on that money so meanwhile HS gets to walk around free for the next 15 years while they fight,,,if it ever gets here. I also saw Moe slamming people on Access. A year too late for these so called spins of what really was. Moe’s book about Anna, wasn’t published…Tony Potts seems to hold a truck full of vengence to Larry B. for not staying underneath Access’s control. (Like how dare Larry let his daughter’s picture be taken, or another story be done w/ ET and not them?) It is either that, or T. Potts is possibly getting his pockets full by the Texas gang or RC in NY.

To #44 ‘Valveta’ - Yes it is AMAZING that it is a very GOOD POSSIBILITY that Ford Shelley staged that Methadone in the fridge…right before he stole (which in the usa is AGAINST THE LAW) from his ‘friend’ Anna. If the detective was CREDIBLE he would have been on the witness list in the Bahamian Inquest. He couldn’t keep his stories straight! Maybe whoever paid him to lie should have gave him a script to read from, and have a wire in his ear to correctly answers questions. If you would have notice he only got airtime once or twice due to how UN-CREDIBLE and UNBELIEVABLE his story was. Dr. E (as you put it the shrink) is a happily married woman; she was a friend to Anna and Howard. There is no story that they were in a house…If there was impropriety it would have been all over the world by now. Howard loved Anna that is clear to everyone, how could you even assume that it is a big deal that Howard was in the house with her? The evidence that you are talking about are vicious rumors started by the other side that was very upset they could not control the outcome of the Marshal estate trial. If there were REAL evidence the courts would have presented it. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Howard should walk around free for the next 50 years as he did nothing wrong. Can you prove he did anything? He is fulfilling Anna’s personal wishes and the wishes in the will she wrote years ago. So only in the usa? Yes, sometimes there is justice. Just can’t wait until the long arm of the law gets O’Quinn for going on TV and saying someone committed a crime when they didn’t, or when Rita Cosby pays 10 times the amount she made from her book of defamation and lies about Howard and Larry. Here is some advice, read the court documents; there are NO coincidences!
