If Michael Jackson doesn’t come up with $24 million to pay off the mortgage on his beloved Neverland Ranch by next month’s deadline, Financial Title Co. says it will put his Hacienda on 2,800 sprawling acres in the Santa Ynez Mountains, zoo, merry go round, ferris wheel and all — up for sale at public auction.
In fact, the firm filed a notice of a trustee’s sale with Santa Barbara Superior Court and set the auction date as March 19.
But The Bald Truth has learned exclusively that Jackson desperately wants to save Neverland, and two months ago refinanced his staggering debt with a new $350 million loan package from a group of international banks.Â

At first blush, it read like some civil rights lawsuit sparked by Mississippi Burning…with a predictable cast and plotline —gutsy lawyer demands federal judge stand up for underdog client by unlocking some hellish, redneck jail.
Only this was Beverly Hills and the lawyer Jon Eardley was somewhat of a mystery, coming from nowhere to rail in court papers on behalf of a $100 million pop star he was claiming for a client…Britney Spears…trying to conjure the same kind of sympathy you might imagine a real civil rights lawyer would invoke for a poor black sharecropper kicked around for trying to register to vote.

When Joran Van der Sloot confessed to watching Natalee Holloway convulse into unconsciousness after what he called consensual sex on an Aruban beach in 2005, then dispose of her body by loading it onto a boat for an unceremonial burial at sea, he no doubt figured, no body, no proof.
Then slept soundly that night and went about bidness as usual, as advised, he said, by a mystery accomplice he’s yet to name truthfully. Several Aruban police investigators Friday sat down with Joran Van der Sloot in Rotterdam, the giant seaport in the Netherlands, and grilled the Dutch college student about secretly recorded video tapes that showed him saying he was with Natalie Holloway when she died. She vanished in May 2005.
According to a statement by the Aruban prosecutor, he wants a court order to detain Van der Sloot as a suspect after he confessed on hidden cameras to being with the Alabama High School honor student before he and a friend loaded her into a boat that took her to sea and dumped her body—even though he wasn’t certain she was dead. After UCLA Medical Center released a possibly unstable Britney Spears and she headed for the Beverly Hills Hotel, the pop singer’s bllasted the hospital for giving her freedom before she was ready and putting her life at risk.
