The Bald Truth: Ledger At Peace With Death?
In a recent interview about his Bob Dylan role, Heath Ledger said he was at peace with dying, because part of him would live on through his daughter.
It’s an eerie moment, as he sits down with Cleveland’s MyFox TV entertainment reporter Dave Moss, aka “The Mossman,” just two months before he was found dead in his New York apartment.

He ‘played’ amazingly complex and difficult roles.

I hope Harvey contacted the parents first.
I actually think he did.
See, actually I think we aren’t supposed to know about someone’s private life, unless they want to tell us.
I had a dream about Ledger, he was really a good guy and so was my brother.
Sensitive and loving.

“He knew what people wanted, and he gave them what they wanted.”
Amended words, please don’t quote me.

I truly hope he was at peace with dying. But so sad for his beloved daughter. And a great loss to the entertainment industry. I miss him.

But again, Hollywood lifestyly takes another one.
My daughter wanted to be an actress. She was in a little broadway shows in Atlanta, lessons, head shot. Went to Hollywood, sit on the Marilyn Monroe square in the walk of fame, picture at the foot of the HOLLYWOOD sign… Came home and gave up on it. Boy am I glad. I know that was her dream but for so many the dream turns out to be a nightmare. Hollywood is not a good influence.
You can look back at Heath when he first started at 19 and watch as the years go by. You can see his whole dimeaner change in his interviews. His acting got better and better, but the rest of it destroyed him. He flat wore himself out with all the pressure that goes along with the dream.
Sad. So sad.

Glad to hear he excepted the future. Don’t think any of us should fear death. It is a natural part of living.

This seemed to be one of the hardest ‘roles’ he ‘played.’
Just being himself.
We never really knew ‘him’ at all.
