With so many colorful bail bonding companies in ‘Vegas beckoning The Busted with show biz names like Godfather’s, Goodfellas, Ba-Da-Bing, Jailbreak, Jailbusters, Bad Boys, Almost Free, Already Out, we had to ask, how did O.J. Simpson find one named simply, “Vegas Bail?”
Answer: he didn’t. Vegas found him, with its colorful mantra, “if you’re in jail, we’ll make your bail,” and campy TV commercials spoofing Dog The Bounty Hunter busting everyone from bimbos to Barney, owner Jasen Reasbeck figured Simpson needed a stand-up guy.
“I said, ‘Hey, O.J. lost his bondsman,’ and told my wife, Candace, ‘let’s call his lawyer. He needs some help,’” said Reasbeck in an exclusive interview with The Bald Truth. Vegas Bail had a nice track record popping big time local perps from the pokey, and the lawyer was happy to take his call.

Vegas Bail Gets Down Like Dog, And Gets Their Girl
District Judge Jackie Glass had just slammed Simpson and doubled his bail to $250,000 after he attempted to contact a co-defendant in his armed robbery case.
Tipping prosecutors was rival bailman Miguel Pereira of “You Ring, We Spring” Bail Bonds,” where Simpson left a message on his answering machine Miguel turned over. Whether or not he’ll be changing his name to ‘You Ring, We Sing,” Simpson was now behind bars again.
“I wasn’t worried he was a flight risk,” Reasbeck, 35, told me. “Where’s he gonna go with all the cameras following him everywhere?”
Not to mention, Simpson had to post or promise to pay 15 per cent of the new bond, or $37,000 to Vegas Bail to assume the risk, and put up his Miami home as collateral, double security on the quarter million dollar bond. I
When he was sure they had a deal–after the judge addressed claims the first bondsman never got paid and Vegas Bail was reassured the proverbial check was in the mail– Reasbeck pulled his white Mercedes 550 with the tinted windows to the jail for the pickup. It was 11 p.m., Vegas time, Jan. 16.
“First thing he said to me was, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll be back for the trial,” said Raesbeck, who’s confident he’ll be picking Simpson up at the airport again for his April 7 trial date to face armed robbery charges stemming from the hotel heist of his own memorabilia, a plot involving armed gunmen allegedly inspired by Simpson.
Next, it was off to Reasbeck’s office with Simpson, who signed papers, autographed a t shirt and posed for a souvenir photo with Jasen, and Candace. “He was very humble,” said the bondsman.
They hung out for a while, talked a little golf, “then I took him to his hotel room to grab a shower, and took my wife to breakfast,” said O.J.’s new best friend, relieved Simpson seemed like “such a nice guy.” Then it was back to the hotel to pick up Simpson and deliver him to the airport for a 6 a.m. flight back to Miami Jan. 17.
“He seemed very grateful,” Raesbeck told me. “He took the time to talk to me and said, ‘Jasen, thank you very much.’ He remembered my name. He seemed very sincere. He was cool.”
When he picks him up for the trial, Jasen plans to squire Simpson about in the company’s flashy Hummer, shown on his website, www.vegasbail.org, and festooned with such bright and bold colors, like O.J., it will be impossible to miss.

If Raesbeck would have said kiss where i can”t I am sure OJ would have been happily to complied. Just think of the thousands of fans O.J. had, before Nicole’s death. I wonder if this has all been worth it?? I wonder how long it will take to get another Blondie on his arm??

You must have deep pockets btw can I borrow a million from you?

My very, first job was working for a bail bondsman.
They knew I was naive, LOL.
One day I had a question, and they were not ashamed.
They opened the door, and rest is history.
Anyway, he was married…and that secretary was on his lap.
By the way, she wasn’t his wife.

Mr. Raesbeck seems to be a cut above the recent bondsman. Seems that he showed O.J respect…and he got respect and appreciation in return. I hope that the new “best friend” will prove to be an asset in O.J’s life.
Maybe someday….O.J will tell us the real story (which I feel that he had the intention to do when he started that ill-fated book), but somehow lost his nerve.
By the way…we haven’t heard anything about A.C. lately?
What’s up with him?
Thanks Art

Vivian~you should look up the pix of the ‘blondie’ he’s been with off and on since he moved to Florida! She looks EXACTLY like Nicole. It is very creepy.
I can’t believe he was even given bail. This was a serious crime. Oh well, he seems to have the magic touch when it comes to crimes! Gets away, at least for awhile.

The OJ and Blondes remarks really sounds, well… let me rather not say it. He was accused of living like a white man the other day… and we call ourselves a “great nation”. Does not sound right, at least not to me..

The name of the game is recognition. He sure got a lot of it for putting up OJ bail.Put his name right up there.maybe in the long run he can recoup his money another way.Besides if OJ’s house was put up as collateral he could take that I would think or the courts could I don’t know how that all works.OJ should be tried for this crimenot one he may or maynot have committed long ago.The ones who tried him should have made shure they had a solid case before going ahead, what would a few days or months have mattered in the long run? aMurder case is not closed untill it is solved or someone is convicted of it.I would have to assume that no matter what people think the case has to be kept open as it was never really solved as in a conviction.

I am a black woman. And it has nothing to do with anything. The same should go for OJ. Judge him on his actions, but who he dates and how he lives is his business. It has nothing to do with anything.

I love Barney…haven’t watched the video, ‘commercial’ yet.
I wish ‘you’ whomever moderates, or helps to moderate this site, would colour me blue more than red, I think…or even black.
Although I guess I’m ‘black and blue’ enough, so thanks!!!
I know you won’t post this comment, or hope you don’t anyway.
Wish you had ‘almost’ never posted anything I ever said or type.
I’m starting to feel pretty, good that you did though.
Now of course this ‘thread’ is about how OJ made bail, and I think advertising and this ‘link’ I’m posting might have something to do with it…
