Bald Truth: Paul McCartney’s Broken Heart

Sadly, no strawberry fields lately for Sir Paul McCartney, who underwent secret heart surgery in September amid the high-stress split from Heather Mills, according to The London Daily Mail.
The paper reported the 65 year old Beatle complained he didn’t feel so hot after a series of fights with his estranged wife over custody of their daughter.
So, on doctors’ advice, McCartney underwent “routine” coronary angioplasty, to open major arteries to his heart, at an unnamed London hospital, according to the paper.
Fans were told he will be fine, despite his struggle to negotiate custody for his four year old daughter and how to split his estimated $1 billion fortune.

Mr McCartney is finding like all of us,stress, and eating the wrong foods, take a toll, more so when you are older,It sounds more like what he has been eating.I feel sorry for the child,I REMEMBER some things when I was 4 years old. more and more I am seeing broken homes, and kids in the middle,I THANK GOD EVERY DAY,I HAD A MOTHER AND FATHER,IN THE SAME HOUSE,HAD DINNER AT THE DINNER TABLE,NOT WATCHING TV.I AM ALSO THANKFULL I DO NOT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY,

I’m too young to be a big fan…heh, I’m 40! But I feel so sorry for him! Look up “Gold digger” is the dictionary…there’s Heather Mills. His poor daughter..what a lovely example she’s getting from Mum.

lisa, I agree,,,I didn’t like that woman he married the first time I looked at her. She is causing him much stress, just like Howard has had to endure.

He is really a great guy - he does not deserve all that he has been through. He gave so much to the world in the first place, and now he is having to suffer from all this stress (and a lot of it from losing his wife of 30 years all the way down to this ugly divorce.) I wish him the best!

Wishing Paul the best. Heather causes me stress just from hearing her shrill, out of control rantings on tv. I thought she was very good on Dancing with the Stars, in spite of her handicap. But, It seems as though she wants to take both of them down. She needs to get a life….out of the public arena. IMO

Sometimes…getting old sucks!
I hope Paul is recovering nicely.
He’s lucky to be rich!!!
Although, he wasn’t my personal favorite…some of his songs are.

He is 65 years old and has lived on the road for a long time so I really think the papers blaming Heather Mills for this are wrong. This is something that is built up over a peroid of time, not something that just happened.Seems to me he has already got himself another women on the string.Being a memember of the Beatles does not give him the right to try and destroy MS Mills nor does it give her the right to destroy him.Hopefull this cna be settled peacefully.Sounds to me like people are putting blame where it should not be.

Its a shame that in todays gossip rags the inner workings and disagreements between celeb spouses makes the front page.
Considering we’ve all watched Paul throughout his career it would entail noticing his wife, but the extent of coverage has indeed reaped its rewards.
No celeb deserves to have their private life broadcasted and that includes by a relative ((ex. Dog the bounty hunter’s son Tucker recording a private phone conversation)) or even a spouse spreading nonsense ((regardless of fact or fiction)) or a vying wanna be seeking the limelight to only give nothing but BULL to gain get some attention.
Stress is harmful to EVERYONE !!!
I wish Paul a speedy recovery and I hope this be a wake up call to realize that some ppl are better off written off and others more important to fight for. Pick and choose your battles with caution !! And damnit take care of yourself!

I agree with you. I believe that if his daughters had kept their nose out of his business, Paul’s marriage to Mills would have had a better chance. Paul hung onto his daughters like glue while they badmouthed Heather. They taught Paul well and he soon started treated Heather like dirt. I am not surprised the marriage failed and it would teach Paul a valuable lesson if Heather takes him to the cleaners.
Just because the world loved the Beatle does not give him the right to trash Heather, which he did not hesitate to do.
Heather must have helped him recover from a broken heart from his late wife very nicely because it did not take him long to be with other women.

Dear Paul,
Next time you decide to get involved with a much younger woman (almost your daughters age I might add) please check which Head is thinking, if you are not sure ask the physician that took care of your heart.
I mean what kind of madness was it when you said I don’t to the prenup, Paul were you smoking some crack that day???
He really has no one to blame but himself in this mess if he did not protect himself, or his mass fortune properly, and really Heather deserves something not sure about billions but something..
hey Birkhead need a wife>> Heather Mills would be good for your image, and she would definitly take no crap from Virgie and her team stupid. She has money and a daughter that would be good friends with Dannilynn.
Heather Mills has done alot of good for world causes and for that I am grateful, now Paul well not much except the last few years follow her it just did not work out and that is sad for their daughter.
I am from that era, I really loved the Beatles and they were fantastic. It is tragic that there are only two left.

My best wishes to Mr. McCartney.
After seeing what happened to hks, I was willing to give HM the benefit of the doubt. But once Barbar Walter turns on you, you know you’re in a lot of trouble.

This is a very sad situation. There’s a little 3 year old
girl caught in the middle. I have always loved Paul Mccartney, and I liked Heather Mills when he first married
her. I could not understand why people did not like her. But
once they split, I found it hard to understand her extreme
bitterness. Beatrice is her only child, and it looks like she will not give any custody at all. Usually, the family courts do side with the mother in this country, but made a surprising(and wise) choice giving custody to Federline, who
so far has proved to be a good father. Mccartney is also a good father-he has always been there for his kids. I hope the UK family courts will grant him 50/50 custody.Mccartney
was 62 when Beatrice was born, and he’s not getting any younger. Mills should give Mccartney a break, and allow him
to take 50% custody. I hope both Mccartney and Mills can come to a fair and peaceful settlement of both assets and child visitation, and make life as easy as possible for their 3 year old. It’s hard to believe these two were once so in love, and now they are involved in a bitter divorce.

I wish Paul well.
I still remember the words to Hard Days Night.
John was taken much too soon, what a poet!
George never got the recognition as a musician that he well deserved.
Ringo, well; couldn’t have been the Beatles without him.
RIP John and George.
Even with no prenup…the only thing that should be split is any monies he made from the date of the wedding, until the day they no longer lived together. At least that is my opinion. Courts should just use common sense and be fair.

George never got the recognition as a musician that he well deserved…
Sometimes you die before you know.
All of these guys did write a lot…
George and Sweet Lord.
John and All the Beautiful People.
Paul and the Black Bird and the winding road…
And Ringo (what’s his name?)…just keeping up the beat…maybe his heart will beat the longest.
Who knows?

Dear Art,
I used to hate history and memorizing dates and my Psychology teacher hated teaching ‘it,’ and his name was Corbis, he was like a corpse…he wasn’t much better at teaching Psych 101 either…seems he could have cared less.
He was after all just working…it was his job.
What a shame he didn’t encourage or feel motivated or have much passion to do a ‘good job’ … he was just making money at his profession, and forced into positions where he wasn’t driven.
Passion really can teach us…as well as, the lack of it.
Mr. Corbis was so bored and now I understand why.
He did get a light in his eyes when he was allowed to tell us the truth about Hitler…yet, the principal came to our class and put out that light, or at least dimmed it…
The principal also interrupted our Psych class when dear Mr. Corbis was telling us about masturbation…he gave us a survey.
Sure is funny, that a lot of adults…really didn’t want kids to learn…what they could not or did not want to teach.

What could possibly be the truth about Hitler? He did not know him personally.
The principal must have had a direct line or hole in the wall into his classroom to be able to show up at the right time to dim his light.

Now instead of disliking history I’m a part of it…
I know, my words are lame.
Wonder how Ringo’s doing?

Nothing worse than a broken heart—perfect example HKS!
January 11th, 2008 at 3:55 am
Wow, I really thought I wasn’t prejudiced or going by looks or anything…so, I made a decision…on my favorite to be George…
And Ringo, was invisible….
I think.
All of them were fabulous, of course…but not without a lot help…

In today’s news (2-18-08) it mentions that the judge will decide on the outcome of the McCartneys’ financial affairs. May the judge be fair to a man who chose to side with his bratty adult kids a/k/a heirs who never wanted to share either Paul or their eventual inheritance with anyone else, least of all someone they did not pick, themselves, to replace angel/goddess Lynda.

Oye Como Va
Who are those brilliant drummers?
March 6th, 2008 at 6:55 pm
So how many of them ‘had’ ono…
Or, rather how many of ‘them’ did she have, LOL.
April 13th, 2008 at 4:54 pm
Now I’m thinking of Sir Paul and Linda, and (maybe) Sir Stern and Anna Nicole Smith.
April 14th, 2008 at 12:15 am
Makes perfect sense why he was jealous.
That also makes Linda and Anna ‘Ladies.’
April 14th, 2008 at 12:16 am
wasn’t jealous, LOL
