OK. I see what you mean. You were talking about babies’ shoes and Flowerz was talking about something else. I mixed them up and my comment ended up not making sense.

Margie, when my kids were learning to walk, my doctor told me to go from the soft soled shoes to the hard soles. They were better able to stand alone when they had a good hard sole on their shoes.

Maybe that is outdated now, I don’t know, but I still think she would be better off at her age with hard soles. Kids do learn things at a different pace, but they also need some help.

Eight kids? Wow! I wouldn’t have been able to handle that. I have three (all grown now) and that was a handful, lol. Best of luck to you.

Sorry, I have to add something else, for those of you who don’t go on Art’s Forum. Thank you Art, for having this site. You saved my sanity when I was starting to think I was Howard’s lone supporter! And everyone that also supports Howard, thank you all for having level heads, open minds and brains that function. You’ve given me new hope. I always felt a special kinship to Anna. We were only a few days apart, the same year. And then she died where I was born. About a block away. And, I’ve had some similar problems..but with a great(late)Mother! I was rooting for her and Howard to get together from way back when her show was on. I have a big ole crush on Howard for the amazing, supportive, strong man that he is (the fact that he’s hot doesn’t hurt either..hehe). The fact that he cared for Anna, even through her other ‘relationships’, and his love never wavered tells me he is a most incredible man!

Anne and Joni-Just for the record-sorry I have eight kids and I gotta say it-The American Academy of Pediatric Orthopedists (sp?)recommends that children just learning to walk go barefoot or wear soft soled shoes with a wide toe box UNLESS they are walking on dangerous surfaces. My kids Dr.s had to DRILL this into my head!
Also, Joni-I just had my first grandchildren this year. A boy in Feb. and a girl in Nov. (and I still have a 2, 3, 6, 8 15,and 17 yo at home!) My point is what you said about VA is SO TRUE! She has this amazing little granddaughter, and all she sees are dollar signs. How truly sad. I don’t care much for Larry, esp. after I saw him parading that poor darling in front of the cameras like that. You know, people are always accusing Howard of ‘pimping’ out Anna. But Anna LOVED being a STAR! And they at least arranged for the photos! If there was (well, there IS) a lot of interest from magazines, etc. then how about once a year or so, set up an actual photo shoot for the baby. Put the money away for her, or donate it. But don’t pretend like it was an accident. That was just a sad scene.
As for the Hatten siblings. Every time I hear that name, all I hear is that woman’s screechy voice saying “Anna was my FRIEND” every five seconds per interview…GOD that drove me NUTS!! ICKKKK!!! I KNEW she was a LIAR from day one! Good riddance to the icky brother…for now.

That’s just biology…and letting ‘them’ hang.

This guy and his sister don’t know squat, do they?

And they were on ‘air’ on national TV.

So what…?

That very same media likes to elaborate and especially seem to be fascinated by Jeffery Dahmer and Gacey…was his name William when he was a boy?

What about Mr. Jones…seems no one knows about the silence of the lambs…is this because of political correctness or that war on drugs and money?

What the hell is wrong with the American Media…???

Too many chiefs and not enough indians.

There was another Jeff, too…he was an Attoney, right?

Why don’t those highly educated persons on TV, tell us the truth…maybe, they might be implicated?

Regarding the comments on these sites about Dannielynn not being allowed to walk on her own, I think it is dangerous enough to have her out in public. Why be distracted watching and guiding her while surrounded by strangers?

As for those concerned about the possibility of Dannielynn’s little arms being dislocated, something similar happened to me as a child while someone was playing with me. Funny that I do not remember anything about it other than my mother having a “coronary” over that incident.
