In a new Bald Truth feature, we’re inviting remarks now and then from colorful players on all sides of cases we cover.
We got this idea when reading a colorful, e mail sobriquet from one of our new and faithful readers, John Nazarian, billed as “private eye to the stars.” An ex-San Francisco cop, he tells us he signed on to protect Howard K. Stern from what he calls vicious, greed-motivated attacks by Team Virgie.
It’s a media ratings war, that’s gone nuclear, with mega-lawyers, cable rivals, and, now, dueling PIs in the trenches like JS. So we asked him how he feels about his rival, Don Clark, ex-G Man from Houston.
“He’s guilty of felony stupid,” he wrote us. And that was BEFORE Clark, ex-FBI agent turned FOX News consultant lost his mojo in a Sunday night shoutfest on Geraldo with the Nannies’ Bahamas lawyer Elizabeth Thompson. While Clark insists the maids told him about the infamous Larry-Howard gay sex tape, Thompson says it was never discussed… with Clark or Rita Cosby who was taped in recent days trying to buy off the Nannies. We’d be happy to hear from Rita, and Don, too, but tonight, heeeeeeeere’s John:
Regarding what critics have said about Stern’s standing by Dr. Kris Erosovich, he writes:
“Howard is the kind of person that if you are a friend in good times, he is still your friend in bad times! Is that a character flaw, I say not. This doctor was his and Anna’s neighbor and a dog lover just as he is and Anna was. All he wanted to do was to put the dogs in a place that they would be cared for. And upon his return from New York and picking up his dogs a raid is launched! As a former cop, (I) find it strange we can’t find …Osama, but can conduct a raid while a guy is picking up his pets! Pleaseeee tell me who believes this?
Howard will survive this, and I and those close to him will make sure of it! He is a good person as is Larry and they are both fighting for what is right. And say what you will about Howard and Larry, they are very different people, but both have a common goal….the baby.
…if the media (were) to look at all the celebs (who) have doctors writing scrips for medication…in OTHER PEOPLES NAMES, that would take a three seasons to document. NONE OF THE BIG STARS GET ANYTHING IN THEIR NAMES, NONE!
Most don’t have their cars, homes anything to protect their privacy! I got a call the other morning from TMZ asking what I was doing? I said ‘nothing’, the response, ” Well your car is at Larry’s house”, I was cool and asked how did she know?
“We ran the plate”……
Now, when I was a cop, and even now, I (understood) that running plates for grins and giggles is AGAINST THE LAW!
So Jerry Brown, would you look into that for me? And let me know when DMV will be conducting a DMV / DOJ AUDIT OF TMZ’S PRIVILEGES AND OR SOURCES WHO RAN MY F…g PLATE?
NOW THAT IS A REAL VIOLATION OF THE LAW! In California anyway!

Indeed, a wide and thorough investigation is urgently needed to put a stop to these vicious attacks on Howard. He is ridiculed and despised and whoever started this road to his destruction must be prosecuted.
I was very sorry that Anna died; however, we ALL have to die sometime, somehow. Nobody was placed on this earth for the sole purpose of staying here indefinitely.
I feel the same way about the President. The vicious attacks must stop and the culprits must pay the consequences. Regardless of anybody’s party affiliation, he is doing his job to the best of his knowledge. Those who think otherwise, should be forced to lay out their plans on how they would handle the problems. All this viciousness is merely asking for trouble and fueling hatred toward the person being maligned and this freedom of speech BS needs to be curtailed. Those inciters are not worthy of the problems they cause and they must be stopped immediately.

So glad John has signed with Howard. He needed someone to counter the underhanded moves of Vigie pitbull Don Clark. I have always felt someone put a bug in the ear of Jerry Brown. I agree with John celebrities do not put anything in their own name for various protective reasons. If Jerry Brown wants to crack down, he better do an investigation across the board in California, not just one doctor and people surrounding Anna Nicole who had scripts in their name to protect her. The practice is too widespread to concentrate on a select few. The more I read about this raid, the more I smell a Virgie rat. The fact that TMZ ran John’s plate indicates that people are watching those two homes. No wonder Howard was there when the raid took place. How anyone could find fault with Howard being there to pick up his dogs is beyond me.

Congratulations to Mr. Nazarian! This is a salubrious twist of events. I watched Geraldo last night, and not surprisingly, was appalled by his biased attitude. All he cared about was to implicate HKS. Yes a razor-sharp private eye can certainly be of great help re. balancing the scales. I wish Mr Nazarian much good luck in his endeavors.

I am so happy that there is someone out there to help Howard. Fox news has sunk to an all time low, trying to protect their friends, team VA and RC. They really are not concerned about the truth. They don’t want the public to know that they have lied about a lot of things so they keep their lies going. I have never heard of a tabloid running plates checks on private citizens. Mr. Brown needs to find out who did this, and make sure they are proscuted. Is this another flaw in Homeland Security.

I cannot stand that sleeze bag ass Don Clark. He is hideous and crooked. These people should be ashamed of themselves, but do low lifes feel any shame? John said he was going to make a lot of people very unhappy from the beginning, he’s on the roll! Let’s keep it going. Damn, what is it going to take to put this trash where it belongs. Howard needs to keep doing what he’s doing, he will be fine. I know it looks messy right now, but he will come through this. Don’t give these vultures what they want. They think if they can put enough pressure on him, he’ll fall,not so. They really want him in jail, but I don’t think so. They need to take all that bs somewhere else.

Don Clark was so desperate to keep MZ Thompson from revealing the truth about his lies about the made up sexcapades, he screamed over her to prevent her from talking. Seems to me if he has a tape of the meeting , he should show it instead of trying to talk over the nannies attorney..The shit is going to hit the fan and the latest exposure of Rita is the tip of the toilet to the real scheme being played out by Team Losah’s aka O’Gin and co, to do whatever they can to wrestle control away from Larry and Howard. They will get down and dirty and use ANY means, legal or not to attempt to get their way. I hope they are all charged with conspiracy and thrown in the pokey.

There sure is alot of stupid running around team Texas’ camp! Rita is “stuck on stupid” according to the usually insipid Ted from GVS, now we hear Don Clark is “felony stupid” from the great John Nazarian! LOL Team Vergie might want to get that looked at………
Mr. Nazarian sounds like quite the colorful and wonderful character. I’m glad Howard has people like him around him. With all the betrayal, the money grubbing, and ratings grabs, he needs a few good people to rally around him and stand with him as he would for them. Good people attract good people, it’s that simple. So many thanks to Mr. Nazarian for taking this case and watching out for our guy Howard!
About the DOJ, me thinks someone wanted to make a political statement and wanted to use this to do it. His press conference was ridiculous, the man did nothing more than stir up the media again with evasive talks of exhumation and possible homicide and jail time. Nobody’s digging up ANYBODY first and foremost, Dr. Perper made it clear he took more blood, tissue, and specimen samples than they’d ever need. Second, CA DOJ can’t rule anybody’s death anything……….she DIED IN FLORIDA! FL officials are the ONLY ONES who can reverse the MOD and after the extensive work they did with the three PDs and MEs office, it’s next to impossible that’ll happen at this point. People are grasping at straws and wanting to make examples and boost their images. I’m not saying they shouldn’t investigate, because they should, what I’m saying is not to make it seem like they can turn the case into something it isn’t.
Oh and I’d like to pimp slap Geraldo, Jeanne Pirro and the other idiot for the way they spoke to Dr. Perper on Friday night. It was disrespectful and TOTALLY uncalled for. That man has forgotten more than those asses will ever know, how dare they try to undermine his authority because he didn’t give them the murder they wanted? HE had the facts, HE spoke with the PDs, HE looked at the body, HE had the evidence, HE had the key witness accounts, NOT them. Bunch of ignoramuses the lot of them are.

I couldn’t agree with him more. I’ve always said that alot of celebs gets their prescriptions in other’s names to protect their privacy, because whose to say ppl at these pharmacies wont go telling ppl whose taking what. Although it is illegal, I don’t blame them. We have ppl diggin in ppl’s trash trying to find the hint of something trashy to sale. It’s a sad world we live in. And if their gonna go after two Dr.s well then they might as well go after all of them.
I really like the part about Osama..I to think it’s funny how we can track antique furniture and who had that furniture but we can’t track down one guy.

Thank you so much for keeping us informed on the TRUTH, I quit watching Fox months ago but this weekend thought I would see what they had to say about the raid. GVS stated on Friday she had a copy of Lin Woods letter to the publishers and said “you will only see this here”. This was about 7 hours after I had read it on your site. But, I have to admit last night was priceless to see Don Clark get so upset and defensive.
With everyone speaking up now (or being paid to say something) right before Daniels inquest. I am so glad there is one place that will always host the truth! Keep up the good work.

I like many others tuned into Geraldo on Saturday evening.
Is it just me that feels this way or did Geraldo, and his so called expert panel he had on that night rally together before the show to say how will we demean Howard Stern tonight.
Once again it is happening in full force, night after night on Fox News Greta Van Susteren and her cronies sitting in with grins on their faces as they speak, attacking Howard Sterns reputation. It is like they are getting such great joy out of tearing this man apart.
These so called expert panelists have the nerve to protect Rita Cosby’s reputation even though she wrote a fictitious scandalous fairytale for (adults only)
I find it strange that no one is questioning Don Clark that said to Geta something one night and Geraldo another. I don’t see the journalists tearing him apart on Fox News for talking from both sides of his mouth. Is this because he is working for Mr. O’Quinn and Vergie Arthur and the journalists and so called expert panalists will stand behind anyone that will demean Howard K. Stern.

That was no coincidence Dr. E’s house was raided just when Howard happened to return from New York. This has Virgie and O’Quinn written all over it.

Art, thanks for putting this up in a way only you can! While we are waiting for answers can someone do some research on an issue that is stuck in my……well throat! Was DON CLARK, as a member of the FBI ever assigned to investigate O’Queen? And how did this moron become his employee?
And I am soooooo happy that Don was so kind to say on National TV that he was not a ‘source’ for Rita’s ‘once upon a time’and ill fated book. Over the years as a real private investigator I have found just like when I was a cop that when you begin to put rats into a cage ( four legged as well as two ) they begin to bite and piss on each other. I think that some of these people may want to go and pick up some ‘pee pads’…..as I feel a flood a coming.
Also, did anyone else find it strange that the famous ‘little ice box shot’ all the little bottles were lined up nice with the little lables all spaced nicely too? We have a term for that, ‘STAGING’. It is my opinion and that of many others that the two bastards who broke into Anna’s house and stole anything they could DID IN FACT STAGE THAT PHOTO!!!
And who is funding Benny Hill? Excuse me Vergie? She had to have been one frugal cop to have the ability to fund all of these actions, makeovers, trips and the rest! Looking back on that red carpet for Da Book….it looked like the event of the year for misfits.
What is the criteria for these ‘talking heads’ on these networks? I am far more entertaining than Clark, Furman, Geragos, and several others. I almost fell of my throne when Mark Furman came forward to give his two cents on The Anna escapades! This was a guy who was right in the middle of a murder scene and did not know what happened and put out over the radio much of the wrong info that was initialy reported! Yup he did, I did the ‘OJ Simpson Story for DISCOVERY and spent time with one of the most brilliant homicide cops out there, Tom Lang. Tom did not hold back on ‘I never used the N word’ Furman….and was he not the same guy that as a copper took the 5th????????? He looked almost as bad as Rita did last week! I heard that cops now use the expression, ‘doing the Rita’ when they catch a bag guy talking out his backside! It would appear to be one of these talking heads you either have to come from a lineage of loosers or just show up and Babble!
In closing, I was once told that if you had a choice of a room full of retired FBI agents or a shed full of milking cows that you should, if pushed take the cows. It is beleived by many that the cows do serve a purpose and will deliver!

Amazing, once again the Stern team is guilty of the very same thing they are accusing Virgie of doing. Don Clark has much more credibility than this character as far as I am concerned. Will you print this comment Art or not? Furthermore, I would think Mr. Nazarian would be wanting to uphold the laws of the state, not working around them and only think they apply when he needs them. That is why people die before they should, because laws do not apply to the rich and famous?

So glad you saw Geraldo but I was extremely frustrated because he was days behind the story. Lincoln Bain was trying Sunday night about the WORST tape of Rita and both Geraldo and brother, Craig, got it all confused. Lincoln must have been terribly frustrated, too. – Geraldo had played part of the tape on Saturday but MISSED the most important part.
Greta played the whole tape on Friday night and was the most incriminating. Rita actually stated that she if she got on the witness stand she had to be able to say she, personally, did not pay the nannies – and it goes on and on. It is amazing to watch! All Lincoln says is Yeah and she keeps right on talking.
Don Clark was cornered by the very dignified Bahamian attorney, Elizabeth Thompson, and, as you saw, he lost it. She was a composed as she could be and Don Clark really showed his true colors. Like Rita Cosby, he has acted like the Bahamas is some 3rd world country and everyone is somehow inferior to them – and a fool. – Don Clark is very much in the hot seat because Lincoln says that Rita said DON CLARK is the source for her book. – Don says he isn’t.
Lincoln is nobody’s fool and he is pretty astute – and fair. He is reasonable when he says there are questions about Anna taking so many meds. And about Daniel’s death.
I have said all along, as an RN, that the docs should be in trouble for the drugs – exporting, prescribing in aliases and prescribing to other people, such as Howard. – I still doubt that Howard can be blamed because he did not hold a gun to the docs heads and make them get the drugs or write the prescriptions. In the end, it is their fault – and Anna had been on these drugs long before Howard came into her life.

Kinda hard for me to believe that half, if not all, of these holier-than-thou talking heads who yap about howard’s name being on the pill bottles really get their scripts written in their own names…unless of course no one knows or cares who the hell they are. I very much doubt that we’ll see Geraldo Rivera’s name on his viagra bottles any time soon. Funny how the rush limbaugh’s who preach about criminalizing drug use get busted for 1000 pills a month of illegal oxycodone. And the politicians who speak most vehemently against gay marriage get caught in the alley with their pants down. … not to mention the virtuous Ford Shelley who own FATHER IN LAW’s name also graced the labels anna’s meds. But no one cares about that.
I also can’t help but think there’s an ironic parallel here between Rita’s eloquent novel and Geraldo’s “sophisticated” reporting. They are BOTH using the nannies as a source… the nannies who were FIRED by anna and howard. who later ADMITTED to accepting a bribe from G. Ben Thompson in exchange for a phony affidavit….who are told to have attempted to sell their stories for$30k to a well known cable program in exchange for giving up “dirt” on HKS, who were then FIRED by their previous attorney for engaging in “shady” business. How is it that Geraldo seems totally unaware of this? or does he just not care…..?

I also found it to be un real that the law would serve Khristine E with search warrants at a time when Howard was there to pick up his dogs. The media and others are so out to get him it make me sick to my stomach that this could keep happening. He tries to say anything and he gets bashed all over the internet and on the news.

I watched Geraldo last night and how they “accidentally” played the wrong tape. I was very happy that Liz Thompson accompanied Lincoln to the “gotcha” tactics of Geraldo. She is a very shrewed person and easily got Mr. Clark’s blood pressure elevated with one question. That was fun to watch,to say the least.
I seem to be hung up one one thought… Why is everyone on that network so strident and so quick to take a stand against an individual? Geez…are they all members of the same church or what? Maybe it’s time for me to read “You Are The Message”.

I think it’s time that Lin Wood had a presence on more programs than just larry king live. I think that their greatest danger here is not actively combatting the vicious rumors that are spriralling out-of-control and not having an on air presence. at least to keep people from running their mouths without any sort of disagreement. in essence howard is just a name… and names never gain sympathy and they never get a fair shot.
but at the very least to stop the rumours in their tracks. point in case, the dogs. some media networks briefly mentioned that Howard was at Kristine’s house because he was picking up the dogs. But they failed to mention the other key point in Lin’s statement… that howard had a 3am flight back from the Larry King Live Show…. thus SOMEONE would have needed to watch the dogs. and how convenient… the doc (who has long known anna and her dogs) lives right next door to his beloved dannielyn. there was nothing scandalous here. just an unfortunate coincidence.
re. the meds…. it’s normal practice for celebs to not put their own names on their scripts. but noone EVER mentions this on these shows. they must all know it, but it makes for a better story if it sounds criminal.
then there are the nannies. no one EVER questions their credibility. it’s been well established that they’ve accepted bribes and made bogus claims and that they were fired from their jobs with anna and howard. no one will bring this up, however, as it’s simply not convenient.
it’s stuff like this that Lin needs to put a halt to before it gets out of control!!

And it’s about an hour-long video and what they did is they cut it down into about 45 seconds to make it appear that Anna’s on drugs when in reality, Anna is pretending to be a little girl and she — I think in the video, she even says that her name is Lucy, which is a character that she played in her most recent movie called “Illegal Aliens.” She’s clearly playing around with a little girl and it is just edited it to make me look bad and to make Anna look bad. Don Clark sure connected the dots to O’Quinn. Who was the gay investigator on Geraldo that called Brown? Geraldo was one of the first news analyst to call Howard a murderer or scum or something dreadful so I hope all this is reviewed.

Rita was a pawn (for money) for her frind Opri, O’Quinn and Virgie. She was really using old Virgie and Virgie was furnishing all the lies she could find. I would not expect anything better from Virgie. I hope Virgie is ashamed but I doubt it.
Virgie is making a lot of money by keeping her puffy face on tv. That is her only interest. O’Q just wanted to get the Marshall money and try to beat Rusty Harding for investigating him for the Texas Bar charges against O’Quinn.

I say BIG MONEY is behind all of this. From what I hear here in Texas JO’Q is treated like “God”.
My mother is over 90 and takes at least 8 different medications for her heart, blood pressure, colesterol, etc.
I’ve heard ANS had epilepsy – my son took 4 different meds for his ever since he was 3 yrs old…..
I’m tired of everyone acting as if she was on heroin, meth-amphedaimines, cocaine and more….how about you 2 guys putting the record straight?

I want to apologize to the Attorney General Jerry Brown, I did not even know he was the AG! Art it was like a heavy fog and you hear this car backfire, bottles breaking, tires screeching and bam! Here comes Jerry, you know limping and looking like that old Red Skelton character ‘Kadiddle’ something! And did you see Jerry trying to make the statment, it was like he was recovering from a stroke!And I have one other thought, lets hope that Jerry does better with the AG’s office then he did when he was the governor.

655. Why?IAJR, you know, you are so right. You do have your opinion. I apologize for being so rude. I have been an Anna Nicole fan for many years and have seen and know a little about her life before Howard Marshall. I worked with her in the 80′s and know that she was not an idiot and was not the person everyone saw on TV. She was a woman in a lot of emotional distress caused by a callous and uncaring family. I lost touch with Anna for obvious reasons but became a fan, probably because I had worked with her and knew her.
I watch and listen to all the news broadcasts and read all the TMZ articles. I also pick up the magazines that have their spin on it. What I see is as I stated my own opinion, formed from only what I have seen and read. I don’t even base it on my first hand knowledge of Anna. I see a Mother come in and fight for the right to bury a daughter that she wanted nothing to do with when she was a dancer but when she became famous for posing in Playboy walked around like a proud mother hen. I watched this woman cry in the court house and then hold up the funeral of her daughter, keep in mind said daughter was in a hearse out in the Bahamian sun and had already been kept from being buried for too long. (Yes, I know that they did the same thing with Daniel, but because Daniel was embalmed early enough his body kept)
Then you have Jackie Hatten. Oh what a friend she was. People here actually support this woman who sat on Larry King Live and could not even pronounce Anna’s name right. Hmm, makes you wonder.
Now, here is my thoughts, agree with me or not, just because Howard was there when both of the beautiful people died does not make him a killer, just because he took photos does not make him a killer. I saw a man for years who sat in the shadows and loved this woman, skinny or fat, and watched while people around her berated her, talked bad about her and down right lied about her. And I just don’t get what he would get out of killing her or her son. There is nothing to gain. Everyone is bashing him saying he stole this or he stole that. Who knows, they don’t, I don’t and no one in their right mind can say without a shadow of a doubt that this man killed her. Can you imagine the people you would have to buy off? With what? No one has that kind of power, as we are seeing with OJ Simpson. No one. Howard was not the brains in that operation, Anna was. She was a very smart woman and always knew what she wanted. She chose to use drugs, she chose to over do it. Howard stayed and who knows that he didn’t try to keep her drug use to a moderation. Maybe that is why he gave her medicine. Maybe he gave her less than what she thought and threw the rest away. I don’t know. I know that she kicked people out of her life when they made an issue of her drug use. Maybe had it not been for him she might have died a long time ago.
I also know that there was an issue with Daniel using drugs at one time. He got caught taking his Mothers medication. Now, was that ALL Howards fault too? No. Don’t you think that if the feds or any other law enforcement authority were being told that Howard was a user that they wouldn’t have tested him too? Probable cause Baby.
I have a hard time with the people on this site who bash him but let the fact that there is evidence that Rita Cosby lied, that Virgie supports this woman who BASHES the hell out of the daughter she loved so much that she abandoned until she had a rich husband and mulitmillion dollar contracts. I have heard so many people say that they warned Anna and they warned the police, where the hell were they before Daniel or Anna died? Virgie was on tv here in Texas the morning after Daniel died getting her fifteen minutes about how she practically raised this boy. He was six the last time she spent and time really at all with him. If Daniel loved Virgie and thought much of her, then if he was so scared of Howard why didn’t he call “Grandma” who was a retired Harris County Sherriffs Deputy?
Listen, I could go on and on and on. All I am saying is that Howard is not Satan. He made many mistakes and I am quite sure lied many times, but I just see a man who was protecting and taking care of the woman he loved. I could have it all wrong, and if I am proven wrong I will admit it. For all the world to read. I just don’t think he is as bad as everyone says.
Regardless, the fact is, Daniel and Anna are gone, as sad as it is. And this baby girl would have had to grow up with enough information about her Mother as it was, why would someone write that kind of book for this baby to grow up and read? Absured. Absolutely absured. And for Virgie to promote this book knowing that this granddaughter that she thinks she should raise will someday read it, well that is just vile.

Way to go. Keep those comments from John coming. He uses plain old common sense. This is something that I find extremely lacking in most of the parties involved in the smear campaigns of ANS, HKS and LB and some of the media spins that have been put on so much of the information or so called information that is being put out there to try to influence the public opinion. As for Don Clark on Geraldo Sunday night, I watched Don Clark literally spitting in his attack on Elizabeth Thompson (Bahamian attorney for the nannies). I’d be pretty upset too, if there was the slightest chance that it could be proven that I had lied on national TV multiple times.
I have said it here before and I’ll say it again. Because of the $60 million lawsuit against Ms. Cosby there will be a lot of back peddling by Ms. Cosby’s sources.
Those people who wanted to see their name in a book don’t want to see it on a lawsuit against them. It’s one thing to make a statement to someone that may or not be the truth and that may or may not appear in a book. It’s quite another to put your butt on the line to face a lawsuit or to perjure yourself in a court of law.
Just to be fair I’ll say that “if“, Don Clark has made untruthful statements that have contributed to this book then he should be very upset and very worried. There are now people (including a Bahamian attorney) that are saying that Don Clark has fabricated what he said the nannies told him. This could potentially put Mr. Clark in line for a lawsuit and/or other legal problems.
Elizabeth Thompson (attorney for the nannies) told Greta Van Susteran (Monday night, Oct 15, 2007) that the meeting was May 5, 2007 and that it included the nannies, their husband/boyfriend, Elizabeth Thompson (nannies attorney), Lincoln Bain, Don Clark and Don’s assistant Wilma Vice (Vice??). Lincoln told Greta Friday night Oct 12, 2007 and again tonight that the meeting was taped and that as soon as he could sort through his tapes over the last several months that he would provide the tape to Greta.

John is right on the money as an investigator of the tragi-comic human condition, Texas style. Who could have dreamed up the this cast, that includes: a smooth-talking ex FBI agent and frequent guest on everyone from Grace to Greta, who, well, withered in the heat of a steely-calm Bahamian lawyer on Geraldo Sunday night.
Did anyone catch the Geraldo Jury after the showdown between Clark, Lincoln Bain and Thompson over Rita Versus the Nannies?
Geraldo lined up the protagonists: to his right–Bain, Thompson and a Fox pundit. On his left: Jeanine Piro and Craig Rivera. I held my breath as Geraldo polled each one to ask who did they believe, Clark or Bain and Thompson… Suddenly the guest verdict was in: Nanny Reps (who said no gay sex story was ever told to Clark)–5; Virgie PI, 0.
Most had probably tuned out by then, but it did certainly show Geraldo bravely allowing dissent on what some are calling “the Anti-Stern network,” as his own Justice Idol panel gingerly dissed their own Fox News Consultant, who happens to work for Virgie lawyer John O’Quinn…and signed on, Stern’s PI says, while the billionaire lawyer was under federal investigation. No improperiety charged here, just the appearance of coziness…not not to mention a daughter who still works for the FBI, along with a son of Virgie Arthur.
In a recent O’Quinn deposition posted first on this site, Virgie’s lawyer says it was that son who asked him to help his Mama, and when the FBI asks you to do them a favor, you can’t turn them down. Lin Wood, Stern’s attorney, ever wary of the FBI since he won justice for unfairly accused and abused Richard Jewell, took issue with that, evoking bad memories of how the FBI treated a security guard who turned out to be a hero.
Now, if FOX wants to keep pumping up the volume, regardless of whether you think Geraldo and Greta have been “fair” to Howard K. Stern, it’s certainly hosted the most colorful characters, and I’m told, if the stars align properly, we just might see Greta consider inviting on Stern PI John Nazarian, one of our faithful contributors. I’d put him up against Virgie’s finest any day. How about a new show, Gladiators for Justice? Let the games begin.

I think this is a good idea. My first thought would be for everybody and I mean EVERYBODY that supports Howard to write to fox and keep writing to find out why they are keeping Don Clark as a paid consultant on a station that’s supposed to be fair and balanced LOL, when he is up to his eyeballs in crooked s**t dealing with this case. Now we know FOX is not fair and balanced. How in the hell can he be fair when he’s getting paid by the vulture team? First, we must find out if he is absolutely being paid by them and then move forward. He is lying to all the faces of America and no one wants to call him on it.
I just can’t stand these negative reporters. They know they’re biased and just don’t care. Geraldo, we all know is a damn thug. I remember him from way back. Now he acts like he can walk on water and not be touched. He wasn’t quite so tough when they wanted to throw his ass out of Iraq. I kind of felt sorry for him, but it quickly passed. John Nazarian: We had all believed when that picture of the meds in Anna’s fridge first came that it was indeed staged by Shelley and Thompson.
I live for the day when those two get their due, along with the rest of this bunch from hell.
I remember reading a long time ago that O’Quinn was thinking about running for governor of Texas. He would no doubt have alot of political ties and just possibly one with Jerry Brown. This raid, has O’Quinn’s name all over it, or at least the timing of it.
Maybe you should do some investigating in that direction and see what you can come up with and who you can expose for wrong doing.
I hope Howard has a bodyguard at all times and watches his back very carefully.
It’s time we all work together to bring down this bunch from hell, but maybe if we just sit back and relax, we can watch them bite and crawl over each other and see them destroy themselves.

Two TOTALLY different tapes ollie! What he refered to in court was the Mommie Dearest video, Team Texas was claiming she was stoned in the video and he was saying she was not. The “more impaired than that” statement was never allowed to be clarified by Howard, the idiot judge wouldn’t let him finish his thought. I’m not so sure that having your meds prescribed under aliases is illegal as long as the doctor knows they’re intended for you and not the other person. I think there is provision for this in the HIPAA rules, i.e. protecting the privacy of celebrities. In Anna’s case, at the time of her death, all her meds were prescribed by one doctor, Dr. E., so there was no doctor shopping. Dr. E. has said she knew all the meds under Howard’s name were intended for Anna, so it was not a matter of Howard giving Anna meds intended for him. The meds that Anna was given were under a doctor’s supervision. Therefore, I would think that the resonsibility was on the doctor.
In regard to HIPAA, I did come across this. It is from a hospital policies and procedures manual.

I just love your site Art, altho I don’t post as much as other’s do, I do come here daily. All the legal stuff I do not understand…as my b/f likes to say, “do i have to get a pencile and some paper and draw it out for you?” But I do 100% know that Howard was treated unfairly. From the moment Anna passed away people were already pointing their fingers at him, without waiting for the facts to come in. And even when they showed there was no foul play done, they still didn’t want to buy it. Their having a hard time believing she would injest all those medications on her own. They wanna say he held her down and forced her take those pills..Now I don’t know about you all, but I would think if someone was shoving pills down my throat, I would end up choking on them. And don’t you think when Anna was clear headed she would remember him doing that to her and would get rid of him? Anna, usually could see when people were taking advantage of her and therefor she ended up getting rid of them, like Hatten, Virgie and so-forth. She knew Howard and trusted him, and she knew there was no way he could ever harm her. Because if she did, he would have been gone a long time ago. And for you Anti-Howards, I’m not trying to say he’s an angel, because none of us are, but I do believe he’s not the person you all are making him out to be. None of us has ever talked to him or spent anytime with him, so how do you know what kind of person he is and isn’t?

What makes me sick about Geraldo and all the other talking heads is the complete disregard for facts. (Okay that’s been said over and over)
Case in point…. (although, kinda minor in comparison to other things) I noticed that on Saturday’s Geraldo At Large show. While Geralso was talking to Dr. Perper, Geraldo kept saying and pointing out Dr. E as the woman standing next to the ambulance at the Hard Rock Hotel. He kept saying Dr. E was there AS SHOWN BY the Blonde next to the ambulance. SHE WAS NOT IN FLORIDA WHEN ANNA PASSED AWAY!!! She left the day before. Geraldo makes me so angry that he didn’t do enough reading/watching other programs or whatever to know that SIMPLE FACT. He kept showing that scene over and over making everyone believe that Dr. Kris was there next to the ambulance.
What an idiot! I missed Sunday’s show. If anyone finds a transcript or notices that the show will run again …. please, post it here. I hate that I missed seeing Don Clark shaking in his boots on the defensive!!!
AND… Speaking of “STAGING”… When “Brother Craig” was interviewing Ford Shelly’s housekeeper did you notice the pills scattered on the bedside table as if left there by Anna. It is disgusting!

Everyone involved with this book seems to be less credible by the second, I’m not sure Rita has anyone on her side who could reasonably be viewed as respectable. This is a pretty serious issue when you are appearing hopelessly un-credible in comparison to Howard and Larry who aren’t exactly the picture of integrity.

Speaking of staged Sunday night on Geraldo, when the photo of the fridge was shown, the nannies were asked if they saw this as how the normal fridge was and both replied oh yeah.
If my memory serves me, that photo was taken after Anna’s death and neither nanny was working for her.
Has any of the TH’s stopped for a second to remember when these nannies were employed Anna had just lost the most precious thing in her life?
As proud as I am that Bain’s busted Cosby, I do wonder what his and the nanny’s motions are, what they are expecting to fall in their laps futher down the road.

I’ve looked for a video or transcript of Sunday night’s Geraldo at large but I can’t find one. I find videos and transcripts from other Geraldo at large but not Sunday night. Can’t figure out why I can’t find this on foxnews.com. Do you have a link for the transcript or the video?

Just wondering.Maybe you can tell the world where VA is getting the money for Don Clark,seems speers is also on her side ,is he being paid by her also.How about the PI following LB and possibly HKS.Is she the gohst writer and that is where she has the money for a make over or is o’quinn still paying hoping for a big pay off.I would think that Rusty Hardin,from what I have read about him,knows just who and what o’quinn is and would advise his client to stay away.As adamant as the Marshalls were about giving into this suit I can’t see them letting someone Like o’quinn and VA get a piece of the pie.Gidget Don Clark talked out of both sides of his mouth,what does that say about him,First he is the source,than he isn’t.Allie just a thought. These are questions that have not been answered and avoided at all costs. Why? Because it is not in HKS favor. The only questions being asked are anything that will be bad news for HKS. Sorry, this is long, but this story and lies have gone on a long time too. Put these questions and answers to rest finally, and move on to the next chapter. Chapter one, two and so on haven’t been answered yet. I am just a person interested in the facts and truths of all sides. I read wayyyyyy to much. This is not called an obsession but more of a quest for the truth to finally come out, whatever it may be. JMHO, that’s all. I apologize for the length in advance. These are things that no one will finish with the final answer, papers, media shows and so on. I am not saying anyone is quilty or not guilty of anything, but at least I am interested in the facts of this story and why so many folks want to condem HKS before the facts are in. I know what my heart tells me and what I hear and see. I was going to send this out to the media and others, but was not sure what to do with this. So I decided to send it to you Art. And to think, these are just a few of my manu questions and thoughts. LOL I am obsessed with the truths and facts of a very fascinating story of events of a human being and their rights. I hope and pray for all of HKS family, and friends, LB, and this precious baby girl DHMB. This has to be very hard for them in this horrible time. It is horrible for me, and I am just an audience to all unfolding. So much of this story was skipped over and not finished or answered before more and more came out. Start from the beginning and finish and ask the final questions and then move on to the next. The media has not asked appropriately the other side the correct questions and got answers before they moved on. Like they were trying to keep us in a fog of lies.
1. HKS is not a doctor, only going by doctors instructions. He doesn’t know what goes with what or how much to give. Only following orders. That being said, you would have to include everyone that has ever been in her life. HKS, her assistant, LB, FS, BT and their paid nannies that were fired, Ms. G the new nanny, Moe and Taz, everyone from her past and present that picked up or handed her, her medicine. Maybe she had severe illnesses that is none of our business that we do not know about. When FS and BT, his wife and nannies were taking care of her about 3-4 months, who administered the medicine then? HKS was not there. They also said on TV that they kept some of the left over drugs I believe. She took shots then. Who gave her the shots and medicine at that time? Who carried around that black bag at that time? Who and what friend would do that after you had stayed with them if you were such good friends, who keeps drugs after you leave from a visit? Very odd. The media are not interested in these questions. Why? Because it is not what they want to hear.
2. Every celebrity, politician, secretary, errand person, mother, father, would be in big trouble if we picked up prescriptions for another person. I understand the celebrity and politicians not wanting the public to know what they are taking and for what reason. No one’s business. Not saying that anyone does, but I am sure that a lot of folks are going to be outraged at this. Is there a law that protects one’s privacy in these high profile cases? From stalkers and just plain nosy people.
3. Is it correct or did I read wrong that it took Moe and Taz an hour to call HKS, and then longer to try CPR and call 911. Why haven’t these questions been asked and answered, if this timeline is true? What could one be doing for that long before alerting someone? Why has no one asked them. Because it would not hurt HKS.
4. Fox is only interviewing folks that one thing in common. They work or worked for Fox. They have or had a connection with Fox and a connection to this story. It is bias when you have RC and DC, friends and works for Fox, to be in connection with JOQ and VA side. How is this fair and balanced and we decide? Again, not in favor for a one HKS. Is this true, I don’t know but want to find out.
5. JH. It has been told by numerous folks over and over that she was not in ANS life for many years, and for good reason. She even stated that she did drugs with her, is she liable also then? HKS was not there. She was not anyone’s godmother like she keeps saying on shows. So why is she still here? Why is still on TV? Because, she hated HKS.
6. VA said in court that she left home at a young age because of boys and drugs. Where was HKS? No where around, gee cannot blame that one on him. There were other men, not always HKS.
7. They had this LB from Bahamas on, no one wanted to hear him talk about RC. But the minute he said he did not like HKS, boy you could see the desire in their eyes. They stated, they liked this guy now. What a surprise. Stop protecting RC. I don’t care how he got his information. She said it, she did it, and it was wrong, period. It is real simple. She was wrong. She had bad sources. She should pay. Stop protecting her and start looking at the facts and truths.
8. So what if he was there getting his dogs. Who cares, that is not wrong doing. To harp on it over and over is not news. They were close and good friends, so what.
9. So what if they were gay or not. Who cares. To harp on it after both have said no. That is not news. The news was, when both men said “NO. But someone wanted the Bahamian people to think they were, is my guess.
10. Why did this woman not want to see her own mother or family for so many years? There are reasons, find out. HKS was not around then in her earlier years. He came much later. Can’t blame him for that one either. Why did family not contact her all those years and wait until the two deaths before contact, writing books, going on talk shows? I would have jumped over gates to see my family. They would have to arrest me to keep me from my family and loved ones. No one tried to contact her long before HKS came into the picture, that I am aware of. Why, because there was nothing to gain. Daniel lived on his own at the time of his death, why did his family not try to contact him then? Why is VA not allowed to see the baby? LB must know the reasons as well. She missed several visitation in Bahamas that were scheduled with LB. Why? Who sold pictures of family to Splash after DS died? Why would a grandmother do that? Are these rumors or facts?
11. So concerned with how HKS gets his money. How does VA, JH, LB and others get their money? Who is paying their bills, lawyers, make overs, trips, planes, restaurants, so on and so on. Good questions. But not being asked. My lord, a man needs to eat and pay bills. He needed to feed the baby at that time, he had nannies to pay. He should make money, as much as he can. What is the heck was so wrong with that? Nothing. Who do you think paid for the funeral. It was not her family. Did they offer? Good question. ANS and HKS shared many things in their lives, houses, boats, and corporations, the Marshall case. So why wouldn’t he be entitled to money? Wouldn’t we all want our share if we had worked for 12 years for one person. Yep, you bet. People are now wanting money and they didn’t even do anything for her. Now they want to make a buck off of her death. Interviews, books, talk shows, here follow me here for a pic, when they had not been around her for years. WOW
12. FS admitted to breaking into their house. He had a bag with him in court with some of the stuff in it. It was not taken away right then and there. Why? Why was he not arrested? Why has everything not been brought back? Why did they try and sell a lot of it? Why is the media not demanding the whole clown video?
13. Everyone talks about the ET interview after she died. Oh bad HKS. Well, is it not true they were already under contract with them? When ANS was alive.
14. Why was it allowed to have people come on shows and call him a murderer, enabler, mooch, and much more before we knew the facts? Why were the seven wills ever brought up when indeed it was not true? Because someone wanted that answer. Was that the only way one could get that answer?
15. Are all these other people getting paid for their interviews? LB, VA, JH, FS, BT, ANS father, and so on. How much? Now how was ANS father a good person to have any information on her. When was the last time he saw her? DH, her half sister. What is the heck was that about?
16. DC stated he talked to the nannies. But was not RC source. Who was? Why didn’t he as a professional not tape it? Does he work for Fox and JOQ, and Fox is not bias? True or false?
17. RC should start signing like a canary and not go down alone. She has already dug deep, take the rest down with you.
18. Hasn’t it been said that Dr. E had, successfully weaned her off of methadone? And Dr. P said just small amounts were left over in her body? It stays in your system a long time after. Could that be because she was weaned off? Isn’t that a good thing? I would certainly think so, if true.
19. Why have we not seen the whole video of the clown act? Why was just part of it shown? Please do tell. Can’t wait to hear this one. WHY WAS THE WHOLE TAPE NOT SHOWN?. Very simple question.
20. The earlier P.I., forgot his name, he said DS was afraid for his mother. From whom? Could be the S/T clan, that is who she was with for so long. Could his jacket have been borrowed with this man’s card in it. Who took him to the airport? Where are his friends, roommate, and his girlfriend that he was hospitalized over? Who gave him his medicines, could the hospital be the one? Oh my.
21. Who is to blame for her drug use? Her and her alone. Ask the rehab folks. The sole person has to take responsibility and stop the drug use. No ONE can make them go to rehab, stop their use. He stayed by her side. She would kick anyone to the curb. Some should be thankful she was not alone and he stayed by her side because he truly loved her. Did that ever cross anyone’s mind? We would be saying all parents and spouses of drug users are responsible for their death’s. NO. Thousands of Americans would be hauled off to jail if this were so. All parents and spouse of any drug user that had died would be responsible. Listen to yourselves. It is like a lynch mob ready to hang someone, anyone, so why not the closest person to her.
22. Everyone keeps saying HKS is postponing the inquest. Do we know this for a fact or just rumor? GVS was the one that interviewed the judge. So who did it? You can’t interview judges before and inquest.
23. Everyone talks about the 11 drugs. Could some of them been left over from a drug that did not work for her and she started a new one? I know that some try one and if it doesn’t work they try another. Not all of these drugs her in her system, yet some want to believe they were.
24. VA wants custody and the estate because she is the grandmother. Why would she be entitled to anything or any of it? LB parents are also grandparents, and she has uncles and aunts, and cousins. LB family seems like a very respectable, religious family and very close. What makes VA the only person of interests? LB family is not asking for all of this. They are probably enjoying her company and baking cookies and reading her books instead. Family is a good thing when good intentions are involved.
25. What difference does it make if HKS thought he was the father or not? He said he was, he thought he was. When he found out he was not, he did the right thing, and what they told LB to do all along if he thought he was. While ANS was alive, HKS did what she told him to do about LB. We were not there so we do not know for sure. All are just guessing.
26. Some posters are accusing HKS of murder, check fraud, money laundering, blackmail, on and on. Do we know these to be rumors or facts?
27. Why would LB want to get her pregnant a second time if she was so drugged up? That wouldn’t make any sense. JOQ and VA are moving in on LB next. Do we truly think this baby should be taken from her father? NO.
28. If every one is so concerned with DHMB, the baby, then why isn’t the truth being asked. For her sake the media should really ask the right questions and not put out lies and rumors. Find the real truth for her to know when she grows up. Not some fiction story that you want to be told. Who should she be around and who not and for what reasons. Think of her if nothing else. She is innocent and deserves more. LB and HKS to my knowledge are the only people who are protecting her.
29. Horizon’s was ANS house, and HKS is now taking care of it for the estate just like ANS wanted. There are papers and convictions to back it all up. So lets wait and see the facts. Well, now they have backed off, is it because they know they did her dirty? He is in the house because ANS wanted him to be. Get over it. That was his home too. Those were his things stolen too. What if they were yours?
30. Why was Holloway at the book party anyway? Not even close in stories. Dragging her into this story was horrible. Like, VA and her have something in common. Not that I can see.
31. I have heard several times she tried suicide twice. Is this true? If so, I can see keeping this out of the public. Once again, it was no one’s business.
I have watched these shows and others for years and years and have always enjoyed them, but It has become a one way ticket to destroy one human being, because the public want someone to blame. This is not fair and balanced in any way. Get both sides and tell all sides, not just the one you want to hear. Start from the beginning and look back at what you have said and done. Then look at the other side and see what is going on and who is doing it.
I could go on for days. I am not saying HKS did or did not do anything wrong. But innocent first until proven guilty, once ALL the facts and truths are in. You are playing around with a human being’s life. Please take it more seriously. Some of the shows have these so called lawyer panels, judge’s, and expert’s on the show laughing as if this is funny, yourself included. It is not funny. To think this is allowed is sick. It is not professional at all. The one thing I really like about LKL is he is very professional and both sided. With all this going on for so long, I wonder now, what has been told to us that was not true. What were the facts and what was fiction, just for a good rating? What they wanted us to believe. Was it really that bad. Now, who knows. I no longer watch FVS, NG, GR unless it pertains to the truth and facts of a one HKS and ANS. You can keep your laughing so called experts. Time for good professional replacements.
The question that you are NOT asking are very important ones. All this other garbage is just that, garbage. These are my observations, thoughts, and opinions. JMHO. Most of this has been said either in court or on interviews. I do not even know if some of it is true. So why is it so hard to find out? Ask the questions. you keep hammering on HKS and not any one else. I do not know any of these folks, just watch and read. I only know what everyone else knows, heard and read. Time to find out from the other side for a change.
You are very smart and intelligent. Why are you letting a vindictive grudge against a man whom you have never met, get under your skin this way? Just because you think he is guilty or you want him to be guilty. Let’s try asking all of them. I the public, want to know. HKS had less scum in himself and his family than a lot of the players in this story. But the media do not want to hear it. Open your mind and listen to the rest of the story. You might surprise yourself. I too could be totally wrong too. Get ALL the facts, on ALL sides, from EVERYONE and then let’s see. One sided just doesn’t cut it. The reason we do not know all the facts, is because the media is NOT asking them. I can see with my own eyes what is going on, and it sickens me. When all is said and done, I hope their are a lot of apologies to go around from both sides. HKS is not perfect, he has made mistakes, sure he is human, but not as many as posters and the media are blaming him for, that’s for sure. I hope all who have done this person wrong from the beginning before any facts were out, PAY, in a big way for it. I think we will be surprised at how much he did not do. Again, I could be wrong, but my gut tells me I am not. Now GVS wants him on the show, the damage has been done, and you cannot take it back. Too late, you have destroyed a human being’s life, for nothing. Yes, I the public want answers just like you.

I fallow Anna and Howard life since They went on court against Marshall.I always loved them, they had fun and were best friends and they were beautiful inside and outside. Whatever happen to Anna, Howard was there.There life was bigger than normal and the normality was not part of there life.So a lot of 9 to 5 ppls. don’t understand. it’s not there fault. Dear Art,
I stepped over here for a moment tonight because as usual I was told this was the story that was a must read. It is nice to see a PI that has a sense of “humor” while confronting hard facts. I am glad Larry and Howard have the people they do to see them through this. A lot of people out there seem to be hoping they can break under the nuclear arsenal being fired at them. Hopefully this is the last volley from several fronts hoping that something sticks.
Anyone else notice that all things lead to Opri/Cosby, or Virgie/O’Quinn, or the good ole boys in S. C., then we have the cross over people like Don Clark, is he working for O’Quinn, Rita or Fox are all of them.
Thanks for the good read, it was a great exchange and sometimes laughter is the best medicine for the soul. Art keep on trekking and keep on digging for the truth wherever it leads. And John thank you for validating what I remember about the once ‘feel good governor Jerry Brown’, I guess it was too bad Al Gore got the Nobel Peace Prize that day, must have been a real downer to have to share the news that way.

MR MILLSTEIN DOES NOT BELIEVE IN CHARITY he was the lawyer who was supposed to protect Dannilynn, his charge an hour $475. ridiculas and unfair. He was appointed by the court not by the family so the state of Florida should pay him not Dannilynn. It was Judge Siedlan who insisted that this man do this job, wonder if that is again another conflict of interest. Taking money or candy from a baby sinful!!!!!!! it wasn’t her fault that her momma died it was Virgies.

Way to go. Keep those comments from John coming. He uses plain old common sense. This is something that I find extremely lacking in most of the parties involved in the smear campaigns of ANS, HKS and LB and some of the media spins that have been put on so much of the information or so called information that is being put out there to try to influence the public opinion. As for Don Clark on Geraldo Sunday night, I watched Don Clark literally spitting in his attack on Elizabeth Thompson (Bahamian attorney for the nannies). I’d be pretty upset too, if there was the slightest chance that it could be proven that I had lied on national TV multiple times.
I have said it here before and I’ll say it again. Because of the $60 million lawsuit against Ms. Cosby there will be a lot of back peddling by Ms. Cosby’s sources.
Those people who wanted to see their name in a book don’t want to see it on a lawsuit against them. It’s one thing to make a statement to someone that may or not be the truth and that may or may not appear in a book. It’s quite another to put your butt on the line to face a lawsuit or to perjure yourself in a court of law.
Just to be fair I’ll say that “if“, Don Clark has made untruthful statements that have contributed to this book then he should be very upset and very worried. There are now people (including a Bahamian attorney) that are saying that Don Clark has made up what he said the nannies told him. This could potentially put Mr. Clark in line for a lawsuit and/or other legal problems.
Elizabeth Thompson (attorney for the nannies) told Greta Van Susteran (Monday night, Oct 15, 2007) that the meeting was May 5, 2007 and that it included the nannies, their husband/boyfriend, Elizabeth Thompson (nannies attorney), Lincoln Bain, Don Clark and Don’s assistant Wilma Vice (Vice??). Lincoln told Greta Friday night Oct 12, 2007 and again tonight that the meeting was taped and that as soon as he could sort through his tapes over the last several months that he would provide the tape to Greta.

Imagine this situation: Lincoln Bain comes up with the tape from this May 5th, 2007 meeting (the meeting Elizabeth Thompson and Lincoln Bain refer to in the video of On The Record) . The tape proves that in this meeting the nannies didn’t tell Don Clark or his assistant Wilma vice (Vice??) that there was a tape of HKS and LB having a homosexual encounter.
What will happen if Lincoln comes up with this tape of the May 5th 2007 meeting?

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, Greta cannot just say, ‘OK, we have to consider another point of view here’ NOW, and ‘we have to be worried about libel’ NOW. NOOOOO, WTF??? She had to be hit, smashed, and creamed over the head with the truth before she would even consider that HKS has any standing at all? You know I told Greta this afternoon, when all of this is said and done it has nothing to do with what is right or wrong, for the majority of the players in this it is for the money! And for many of us it is the publicity that it too generates.
However with that said, hear me loud and clear, I know Howard and he is not about the money and has never been about money! I also know Larry and you know that he too is a good person with a set of different values, both of these people have done nothing to deserve the greif that has fallen upon their houses!
Certainly he has a right to be compensated when some lunatic writes a book and calls him names and others make stuff up. And with Lin Wood in the captains chair he will be compensated!
And how about this! For the most part many of us would not let some of these ‘players’ sit at our tables and break bread! Art and for all of his readers if you post it here the other side will read it! How cool is that!
I am not going to break the news yet but there is even some seedier characters who maybe involved in this ‘circus of challenged clowns’. Art will be the one to bust that at the appropriate time….stand by! Can you beleive it? And we all like a good movie, dont we!

I have asked Greta for months now to get the FULL clown tape from Shelly and if she dose i want Howard to be next to her watching it. Making sure it was not altered, cut and sliced. But the more I think about it I’m sure she has asked them for it and they have said NO. That is why I don’t see her talking about them anymore or having them on her show. But if that did happen then Greta should tell her fans about it. And you bet Virgie was behind that book or Rita’s. She has only Malice for Howard and Larry. Rita will lose in court over this. Just finished reading the 76 posted comments…some I agree with…some I don’t. What makes me really mad is that when GVS asked Dr. Perper if he took hair samples from ANS HE ANSWERED YES…BUT NO ONE HAS ASKED ME TO TEST THEM! Dr. Perper was in charge, didn’t need to be asked by ANYONE…should have TESTED THEM! This would have produced a “calendar” of drug use which would have proven that ANS took more/less/or = to the amount prescribed. Dr. Baden is concerned that her body may have to be exhumed to get “hair”…Dr. Perper said he has the hair {hopefully stored in a controlled enviroment.} How come the investigation into the drugs is taking place > 8 months later???….me smells something fishy!!!!

Great to have found this site! I was very lonely in my support for Howard; even my husband was swayed by the relentless media lynching of HKS for the ratings sake (Yes, that’s right! I usually skip over long messages because they are generally senseless; however, this one from “Lucky” was riveting. I, too, would like an answer to those questions that everyone is cowardly skipping over, while ruminating and obsessing over Howard.
I have not noticed any sign on Howard’s forehead or body language beckoning people to kick him, yet the ignorant fools tirelessly and mercilessly kick him. Maybe the only hope for this cruel world and its mean people is to have another 40 days and 40 nights of rain in order to start fresh.
My opinion and comment on “Lucky’s #27″ (“27. Why would LB want to get her pregnant a second time if she was so drugged up? That wouldn’t make any sense. JOQ and VA are moving in on LB next. Do we truly think this baby should be taken from her father? NO.”) — is that LB was NOT trying to get Anna pregnant a second time. Larry said a lot of things, none of which I believe. If he felt so strongly about Anna, they should have gotten married and proceed with the rest. It does not make sense to “try” to get pregnant — and then what? I believe it just happened and no one can be sure who was responsible for Anna’s previous pregnancies. She definitely wanted another child and to me it seems what was important was the baby and not who fathered it. It was not until the very end of her life that she came to her senses concerning Howard and the benefits of a man whose feet were firmly on the ground, rather than a “flight risk.”
I am sure that an aggressive, unscrupulous attorney can take advantage of an inexperienced person, especially when a huge amount of money keeps dangling in front of the person’s eyes. If one really cares for a person, one cannot master the courage to publicly humiliate the person and continue to pound on that person after that person loses the most important person in her life. To go on national TV after a tragedy and attack a person in front of the entire nation, knowing people will discuss it, laugh about it and pass it along for others to join in the laughter, cannot be associated with love and devotion. In that respect Anna hit the jackpot. How many people can win the lottery twice? Two people publicly destroyed her.
I do hope that Larry continues to mature and use common sense for the little baby’s sake.
Those who are concerned for Dannielynn not seeing her grandmother, do not worry. The bond between those who truly care for each other is what matters. Blood is not thicker than water. Whoever started that rumor was probably drunk or delirious. One can develop more love and attachment to a pet than to a two-legged cold monster in whose veins the same DNA travel.
Someone had commented in one of these stories that Virgie is using her law enforcement knowledge and know-how to get in touch with the various agencies currently crucifying Howard. I do not think so. These days cops are better trained in sophisticated ways, a long shot from those from decades ago. Virgie appears to be an uneducated person who speaks poorly (example: “hisself”) and who most likely mingled with a different crowd. Look at the husbands she has had! Look at Anna’s father! To me her father looked like a cow hand or a shepherd protecting himself from the sun under that humongous hat when being interviewed by Greta. Bottom of the barrel. Even though Virgie attempted to get paid $20,000.00 for a televised visit with Daniel, “the love of her life” she never went very far until Anna died. She lucked out when some unscrupulous person put her in contact with O’Quinn. In my opinion, once they met and found they had so much in common, she probably gushed over him, which stroked his ego, sending messages to different nerve endings, resulting in the mess we see now exploding in every direction. What a man will do once his ego is stroked! Unbelievable! Women are just as stupid when desperate.
I think it is to her FBI son’s benefit to come out clean, if he is the culprit, and if necessary, apologize publicly for opening this can of worms. If it destroys his career, so be it. He should have known better and furthermore, he probably is a janitor or a dog trainer/catcher. I know that Anna was very smart but that is not necessarily contagious.

This is an interesting thought. I don’t think that the pharmaceutical companies can be held liable since it was the doctors who prescribed and therefore provided access of the drugs to ANS. If malpractice is proven against the doctors then their malpractice insurance would have to pay up.
I don’t think Virgie/O’Quinn can sue anyone regarding ANS as long as LB has custody of DL. This is probably the reason Virgie wants custody though. Remember how she said on TV that she didn’t want to raise DL but she would if she had. To. Then Virgie stops doing interviews. O’Quinn does all these interviews. He repeatedly says that Virgie wants to raise her granddaughter. I believe O’Quinn planted the $$$ possibilities in Virgie’s head if she could get custody of DL.
I don’t believe Virgie had enough knowledge of the financial possibilities related to custody of DL to come up with this all of this on her own.

How convenient that all the drama and attention is on Cosby, Clark and the Nannies…. leaving Ms. Opri an unusually low-profile character in this story. Odd, since hers was the first face and extremely loud voice we had to hear whenever a camera was present for a statement concerning anything concerning ANS. A carefully contrived disappearance from the public eye at a most opportune time.
Another name that has seldom been mentioned but I hope not forgotten (and maybe hinted at by Mr. Nazarian as one of the seedier characters in this “circus of challenged clowns”) is Raymond Martino. Do Not let that name be forgotten. Many of us have felt for a long time that he is the one with the answers to Daniel’s last days and who would know the reasons why a young man with a lifetime ahead of him would need to self-medicate emotional pain.

Howard is not trying to discredit anything. He has a right to fight. This is his freedom that is being toyed with by the media and ignorant people who fail to see pass the tip of their noses. If someone ACCUSES you of something you know you did not do, I hardly think that you would roll over and have them have their way with you. What does it really matter where he resides, if he makes his bed in the Bahamas or California he is still being wrongfully accused and villified. In case you missed it, Dr Erosovich had the dogs because Howard who is now taking cares of the little cuties was taping the Larry King show and was out of town.
As for coincidences, can’t help you with that one. Allow your brain to expand a little. Kathy: Howard doesn’t have to try to discredit anyone. They are doing just fine discrediting themselves.
It doesn’t matter where Howard is living and Kathy didn’t you read yet that Dr.E was keeping the dogs for Howard? Geeesh, I thought everyone knew that by now.
As far as the five witnesses…two are no doubt Shelley and Thompson that won’t show because the criminals know they will be arrested the minute they set foot in the Bahamas. I don’t know why they aren’t being brought down
there to pay for their crimes.
Probably two more are the paid to lie nannies, that Shelley/Thompson hired and payed off.
I’m not sure who the fifth one is, but would you want any of the afore mentioned, known liars and criminals testifying against you?

Hey # 128 that is so interesting and is not fascinating ‘all’ the players big and small! I was just telling Art the other day how ‘Moody’ some people can get when doing this kind of work. You know the stress and strain of defending the innocent and in the course of doing this you get to do things both National and ‘International’ and it can be so fascinating to be in the ‘Global’ market place.

At least at this site my eyes don’t glaze over with the latest ‘oooohhhh what if?’ It’s enough to make you want to pull your hair out! I can only imagine what Howard and his family must feel like.
I put nothing against O’gin trying to get at any money that can be made available. I want to help a Grandma doesn’t cut it or a man in high places asked me for a favor. He wants to replenish his car collection that was stolen maybe. Wrongful death? The pills that kept Anna going for years could mean money in the bank. He already tried the implant thing. Too bad Anna didn’t smoke, he could try that again. The Marshall money doesn’t seem a given, that could go either way.
Martino? Unfortunately noticed his name on the credits of an Anna film.
Why hasn’t more attention been made to the abuse issue? Not uncommon for someone that’s been abused to turn to alcohol and drugs and overt sexuality to blur reality.
And just cause my mind can’t make many coherant thoughts to prove a point, another thought that roams my mind is a tape that shows Anna doing her thing and Howard standing next to her. His eyes never moved from her breasts

It’s so obvious to everyone, that Howard was in love with Anna and doted on her. He would never do anything to hurt her or Daniel. He was like a father to Daniel and Daniel loved him too.
Even the naysayers have all admitted that Howard was in love with her.

Joa, Raymond Martino, director, writer, producer, actor in b-movies including the movies featuring ANS. Present in 1995 when ANS OD’d at his home. Most recently back in the picture because Daniel was staying with him in California during the time ANS was pregnant and living in SC/Florida/Bahamas. Also, shady PI Jack Harding says that Martino introduced Daniel to him. Martino is on the inquest witness list. He took Daniel to the hospital emergency room in July 2006 for an “undisclosed” medical problem.
Martino “produced” and filmed J. Howard Marshall’s funeral. You know…. the one where ANS showed up in a wedding gown!

I think you could find out a lot more regarding this guy.
Could you investigate Rita Cosby and Debra Opri. There has to be some dirt on both of them somewhere. I realize this is a lot to ask of you but I am confident that if anyone can get to the bottom of this it is you.
I also think this this information would make and good story. I think a lot of people would be interested in this information. The public as well as HKS and LB. Of course HKS and LB may already have this as part of their evidence. They may be planning their stategy of when and how to use it in their lawsuits.

Congratulations to Mr. Nazarian! This is a salubrious twist of events. I watched Geraldo last night, and not surprisingly, was appalled by his biased attitude. All he cared about was to implicate HKS. Yes a razor-sharp private eye can certainly be of great help re. balancing the scales. I wish Mr Nazarian much good luck in his endeavors.

I also watched Geraldo with that joke (jerk) Ford Shelley. Ford Shelly degraded Anna in one breath then in his next breath he claimed that his family was Anna’s friend and love her. Contradictory? I think so.
Every time the media (including Geraldo) shows or mentions the so called clown tape they make a big deal out of Anna’s face being painted. I noticed in the video that Anna was painting Riley’s face also. She was doing an awfully good job painting Riley’s face for a woman who was supposedly drugged out of her mind. If my face was painted like Anna’s was I doubt of my eyes would look normal either. they mention Anna acting like a child. For goodness sakes she was playing with a little girl. Little girls play make believe. They play mommy with dolls. Maybe Riley was playing make believe when she is heard asking HKS for help with Anna. I also noticed as others may have also that when Anna ran across the tennis court she didn’t stagger or stumble as a drugged person would. She ran pretty well for a woman who was 8 months pregnant. When I was 8 months pregnant with my children I doubt I could have managed that as well as Anna did. Of course Geraldo and his team either missed these facts or choice to ignore them.
Sorry this is so long but the way this clown tape has been used against Anna and HKS just really bothers me. I think one would have to be there to really understand what the situation was. I welcome comments as I would like to know if anyone else noticed these things.

Why on earth is Geraldo, an attorney, accepting stolen property from Ford Shelley and showing it on TV? What exactly is going on? Doesn’t anybody understand what it means to be in possession of stolen property? Why isn’t somebody doing something about it? What is with these lawyers working for Fox? What kind of people work for Fox? How does Fox determine what constitutes a respectable employee? Is everything OK so long as the employee does not smear Fox itself? It seems to me that the Fox management pick their employees out of some recycle bin.
Does Ford Shelley understand that it is against the law to take other people’s property?

SARAH from KY: Against my better judgement, I decided to watch Geraldo when I heard he was going to have something on about that tape. I never watch him normally because I can’t stand him. I didn’t watch all of his show though, but saw the tape and watched very carefully.
I noticed the things you mentioned. If she was so out of it, she wouldn’t be able to run without falling. Also when Howard told her, her boob was showing, she immediately looked down to her left, and he said the right one and she then looked to her right. If she was so out of it, she wouldn’t know right from left, I would think.
I watched all her actions and they looked absolutely normal. They weren’t sluggish at all. I remember hearing Geraldo saying the tape showed her staggering, and I didn’t see that at all either. You could tell she was playing, dolls, with Riley. I’m so tired of these sleazebags showing this tape over and over, but they never show the whole thing. These people are so pathetic.
It also makes me furious that they can be showing stolen goods on national television and nothing is being done about it. Go figure. These tapes were private and NO ONE had any right to steal them or show them to the media and the world. My only hope is that someday soon, these culprits will be brought down and made to pay for their crimes and that includes the hosts of these TV shows and their networks.

Rhonda, I could not agree with you more.
Just about everything that occurs in the news between now and the next Election must be considered suspect and the words of various government officials must be viewed with skepticism. How many of these crusaders for justice are, in fact, using this case to enhance their political profile?
As for Geraldo, as much as I admire him as an investigative reporter, he has come up woefully short on this case. It’s very difficult for me to understand how a man who has made non-commitment a way of life could be so quick to condemn and critique Howard’s relationship with Anna Nicole.

For anyone who even has a shred of doubt about Howard’s claims that Anna was talking “in character” when the infamous clown video was taped, do two things: Look at her role in the movie she had recently starred in – the one with Joanie Laurer. The voice she uses in that movie really is the same one she uses in the “Clown tape.”
Then go to YouTube or a similar site and find the video of Anna playing a corporate executive in the process of interviewing a procession of young men.
Then see if you still think that Anna was incapable of pulling off a thoroughly convincing performance.
Anna Nicole Smith was a performer – a model and an actress -and, truth be told, the clown video may have been the perfect metaphor for Anna’s tragic life.

To John N. – I hope you will not only investigate the Rita lies but also the Virgie Arthur lies.
I found that she has been married 6 times but I do not know if it is true. The first time was to David Tacker in Feb. 1996 – he was her step bro and she was 15 and just had his child in Jan. 1966.
The second time was to Don Hogan who went to Kansas prison for raping her 10 yr old niece, 3rd. Donald Hart in 1971 when Anna was 4 yrs old. Anna said her step father raped and moleted her from the time she was 9 until she left home at 15 about 1982 (Virgie divorced Hart in 1983), then she married Joe Thompson 1987 ton 1991, James Sanders -1996-1996 (he died) then Arthur in 2000. She says she is a middle class family. I don’t think so.
Was she a meter maid or an investigator without any education with the Houston police?
Anna had told her ex-manager, Joyce Wagner, in 1996 about the abuse and Joyce approached a book publisher on 4-30-2007 according toe the NY Daily News Rush & Malloy about writing a book about Anna.

Don Clark was suppose to be investigation O’Quinn for tobbaco lawsuit malfeasons as head FBI in Houston when O’Q hired him. O’Q also donated about $4mil to the democrat that was running for Gov. of Texas at last election – buying him more or less but the Democrat did not win.
What about Speers, Opri’s free investigator – what is that all about?
