The Bald Truth: Read Debra Opri v Larry Lawsuit: Birkhead Sues, She Sues Back, Yada, Yada, Yada!

It sort of reminds us of some greaser high school flick, high noon in the halls. Only now, they’re all grown up, and it’s about money.
“It sounds like high school,” Susan Brown, one of Birkhead’s Florida lawyers, told me. “It’s tit for tat. He sued me, now I’m gonna sue you back.’”
Brown was part of Birkhead’s Florida Dream Team, with attorney Nancy Hass, and Opri directing the show.
In a late night call, Debra phoned to say she didn’t understand how “why Larry was doing this,” and how it had escalated to this flash point.” Without elaborating, she added, “I just wish he would pay his bill.”
“It’s such a shame,” says Brown, who did get paid. “Larry’s getting attacked by a lot of jealous people and he’s been a great Dad. He stepped up to the plate. You can see how much he loves that baby. I’m troubled by all this.”
If you consider the high school window as a way to understand the players, the egos, the greed, imagine that one insecure kid promises to give some of her money away to help missing and exploited children because she wants people to like her and believe she really cares about a paparazzi baby idol she’s commissioning at 10 per cent.
It doesn’t take an English PHd to analyze the symbolism Opri is trying to conjure by saying she’s going to donate to the National Association of Missing and Exploited Children, perhaps implying Dannielynn shares something in common with kids on The List.

This is a d*** shame! I mean, when is it going to stop? This is totally ludicrous and it’s all in the name of MONEY. These people, if one can call them that are full of crap. They don’t give a damn about Dannielynn. That is what’s so shameful in all of this. I am so glad she’s a baby right now and don’t know what’s happening. She will know one day, but by then, hopefully she will be able to handle her own and it won’t affect her so much. I will just continue to pray that God hold her and protect her and the people that love her from all that’s going on. He will take care of her.

I think Larry is despicable. He should have paid his attorney Opri. I commend Deb O for withdrawing once she knew Larry was making a backroom deal with Howard while she was forging ahead against the man who lied about paternity and may be complicit in the death of Anna and Daniel. Anna knew what happened to Daniel. Daniel was becoming a man and was about to expose the grifters and drug peddlers surrounding his mother. Howard is a sociopath for sure. he had to protect himself from Anna at the inquest. She would turn on him if she had a clear thought in her drug dazed existence.
I support Opri and her efforts to expose Larry and his scheme of hiring and not paying for services. BTW, Susan Brown was hired by Opri. She is despicable as well.

DEBRA OPRI HAS MADE A MOCKERY OF TITLE ATTORNEY AT LAW. Just two kids in a sandbox IMO. Rotflmao at the “‘I need to be in every frame and shot’ baby daddy act” line in her filing! She’s absolutely right but she should also acknowledge that he learned that from her and her amazing “I need to be in every frame and shot” lawyer act! These two are sprung from the same tree I tell ya!
Also, Larry is a good father, but I’m tired of people trying to use Dannielynn as a shield against whatever he’s said and done previously. Being a good father and being a good MAN are two separate entities for him. Kind of like how a man can be an awesome father and a crappy husband or the vice versa. Mr. Birkhead still has to answer for the people he associated with, the stories he told, and the tactics he choose to use before Dannielyn was in his custody. That DNA test didn’t erase the words and actions from the months before, sorry to say.

Poor pathetic Opri has been smeared through the rags and soundwaves for being the loud mouth BS’er she truly is .. intimidation … loudest … cruel… just a few description words she can put upon her newest resume … maybe when all is said and done I can ask to have fries with that order … hmmmm wonder if she’ll go after Ronald and smear him and the hamburgler ???

I just wanted to reiterate what I posted on Rose’s website. Opri makes a lot of fuss about the media deal in this lawsuit. But, she did not advise him in writing that Birkhead had a right to seek the advise of an independent lawyer. Therefore, my prediction is she won’t get any money from that contract. For such a high priced attorney, she’s not really that smart. She also claims she is entitled to 10% of all media deals he makes for the rest of his life. Is that even legal? He fired her. There’s just something about that contract that seems kind of unethical or unconstitutional.
Opri also says Larry accused her of being a source for Cosby’s book, but in the Larry King interview he went out of his way to say that he wasn’t accusing her that. I think that this lawsuit was just a publicity stunt.

I was also ‘curious’ about the wording “On or about September 30, 2006 …” I believe that Larry won NO ARBITRATION due to one agreement being signed one day, then the media deal signed a day or two later. One deal had arbitration the other did not.
Anyone can see how blunt and pushy Opri is in public, I truly believe she pushed him into signing those agreements!
Oh, and I love how she ‘rationalizes’ that Larry knows about contracts through his knowledge of real estate. Give me a break! The whole 18pgs. pretty much repeats itself, and for the one or two items she is mad at Larry for saying - Opri has said, and insinuated worse against him.
All his legal team needs to do is pull up all of her statements after he fired her. I love the way she ’spins’ how she had to file those papers to release her of being his attorney. The whole world knows that he told her to stay away and she was fired when she transfered his money into her client/trust account! Please - does she honestly think we’re stupid or that she can trick us with her wording?
ON A LAST NOTE; OPRI SPEAKS ABOUT HER 10% ON PG. 15 NOW SHE THINKS SHE OWNS THE RIGHTS TO LARRY’S STORY? WASN’T IT JUST A FEW PAGES BEFORE SHE SAID IT WAS 10% FROM THE PATERNITY CASE? WELL THE PATERNITY CASE HAS PROVEN LARRY TO BE THE DAD, SO NOW IS IT CHANGING TO HIS LIFE?

This is like a real life Tony Soprano making fantastic deals. Shake hands and then your life is not your own anymore.
In my opinion, Larry hired the kind of attorney who would stick a knife in the opponent’s back and twist it, never thinking that if he made the wrong move, he would be the use with a knife on his back.
Just when I begin to feel a little bit sorry for Larry, I remember that Howard is being put through hell because of what Larry accused him of doing, when he felt scorned by Anna. Maybe there is such thing as payback.

I think the whole bunch is a bunch of skum bags. Why don’t these guys work? Everybody has to work. Howard sits in the Bahamas and doesn’t work. Larry in California and doesn’t work, everyone is after money for nothing. I think Opri ought to charge for what she did. About half of what she wants and Larry needs to pay his bills. So should Howard. They owe bills to lawyers in the Bahamas. Nobody should have a home without paying for it. You don’t get paid for work you didn’t do if you are a lawyer. I have never in my life seen people like this. Money is ruling all of these people and I don’t see how any of the US could support any of these people.

According to Opris’ lawsuit Larry didn’t need an attorney. He seems to have made all the decisions himself. She is asserting that she only followed Larry’s orders on where to file. Sounds like she is threading water backwards. No judge is going to buy that garbage when they look at how many hours she charged him for researching where to file. Try again Deb were not buying.

#7 Rhonda You are so right in what you say.How can anyone say neither of these men are working,I am sure HKS is helping in the cases he has and he has to work on the case for the estate.As far as LB I would assume he has to set up things for the photo opts and whatever.With the way things are going and all the suits now filed both men will need every cent they can get.IMO this is a media blitz against LB by DO to salvage what she can. LB is not the onlt one sueing her and showing the world what and who she is.In Pamalas case she did not care about the children and IMO she never cared one bit about what happened to Dannilynn except that she win tht case any way she could.Seems very funny to me this again comes out when I had heard the custody case was to be heard soon.I would hope the Bahamian people realise just who the evil ones are in this saga and it is not HKS and LB.Look to the o’quinn team

Sadly America “sues at the drop of a hat”. Please correct me if I am wrong…the only lawsuits that include Larry are those between “Dopey”, Virgie and possibly Cosby. Larry will win against “Dopey” though may have to pay a greatly reduced fee to her. As for Cosby who I align as being part of the “BITCHES OF BIRKWICK”…money hungry “sad sacks”…I doubt that she can provide proof of her accusations..similary Virgie Arthur who is despicable!!! So if we had the court cases “tomorrow” this would all be over…BUT…because of the long delay the media will hop in “for it’s buck” and probably blow this out of all proportion! Now lets get to the other lawsuits starting with HK$…he is currently facing eviction from the “Horizons” home…rightly so…neither he nor ANS paid Ben Thompson ONE CENT!…

Look, obviously most of you posting think its ok for stern and birkhead to sue or cop out of legal responsibilities and bully, weasel, try to destroy everyone’s reputation. He needed legal muscle against his little friend howey and he got one of the best. Anna’s lack of judgement for a good lawyer, doesn’t mean all women are as needy for fame as she was. In fact, those two are the most obviouse, stupid crooks in the business. The old saying “you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.
