Warm off the presses. Our favorite Lipstick Pitbull, attorney Debra Opri, more famous than many of the fading stars she represents, issued a press release Monday detailing why she’s suing former client Larry Birkhead, this time. Let us know what you think.
“Today, I filed a lawsuit against Larry Birkhead for Defamation, as well as other actions.
After I chose to terminate our legal relationship, Larry Birkhead began a malicious and relentless media campaign to discredit me and to destroy my reputation.

It is clear now that Mr. Birkhead’s attempts to discredit me concerned what I knew and what might be exposed publicly…..and not a legal bill.
“With the recent release of the Rita Cosby book: ‘Blonde Ambition,’ Mr. Birkhead’s attacks have escalated to include false and malicious allegations that I was a source for the book.
“My message today to Larry Birkhead is… I have had enough.
“My primary concern has always been for a child named Dannielynn, which is why I will donate the proceeds from the defamation action to the ‘Center for Missing and Exploited Children.’

What in the h*** does she mean? Dannielynn is neither missing or exploited. She needs to go away. I will believe it when I see it as to whether or not she gives the money that she’s not going to get, to that organization. I knew she was going to fall because of that loud mouth and arrogant attitude. As I said before, I like gutsy people that believe in their cause, but not at the expense of innocence. She yelled one time too many for me and that did it. That was in the courtroom in Florida when she tried her best to knock Howard out of the ballpark. She is getting what she deserves. Now, I wonder does she know how it feels to be defamed? I don’t think she has been, but now she’s being hit where it hurts, in the pocket. Who wants her for their lawyer? She went too d*** far!

IMO, Opi should lose her license to practice! Her very unethical public behavior towards an individual who was her CLIENT, has done more damage to her reputation than anything anyone else could say or do!IMO, Who would hire her knowing that she could do the same to them? NO ONE! Crawl back under the rock you came from Opi and just maybe you can salvage something of your rep! Otherwise, IMO, you’re history!
It is disgusting that these individuals continue to try and ruin lives! They hide behind their claims of doing what is in childs best interest…..BS! Howard and Larry ARE doing what is in the childs best interest and I’m glad Larry is allowing his daughter to be photographed for all the world to see just how happy she is and that she is thriving in his care!
IMO, I’d say it makes great evidence to counteract the evil words of R.C., Opi, and gang! IMO….I guess when their PI’s can’t get the goods that would help them prove otherwise, they fabricate it! To bad, so sad!

I HAVE TO WONDER WHAT “REPUTATION” OPRI IS SUING TO DEFEND. I am so tired of LB and DO, I think both of them deserves whatever they get from each other. I think it is poetic justice that the same way these two people have alledgely vilified Howard K. Stern those same tactics have come back home to their doorsteps. I believe RC and Do were working together, I also believe that DO realize that, if the allegations LB has made are proven to be correct she is in deep trouble. Pitbull is the perfect word to use for her personality.

Warm off the presses, cute Art, lol. I don’t know what to think about any of this lol, but the first thing I thought when I saw the picture of Larry was, OMG! That diagonal narrow striped tie with the pinstripe suit. A tie with a more subtle print would have looked better. I got pretty good at picking out mens ties over the years lol.
Also if you would have doctored up that photo of the real pitbulls with a little lipstick, I wouldn’t have been able to tell which was Opri and which were the real dogs. They are all dogs to me and look pretty much the same lol.

It is hard to say who is the biggest liar or medial hog. I hope they both reap what they have sown sooner than later. LB has told so many different stories he will never make a good witness. About the only thing he has said that turned out like he said was the was DL dad wonder what he gave Anna to be sure she got pregnant?

.If as she said her main concern was for Dannilynn’s welfare and if she did clean up LB as she say’s where is her concern.As far as I can see she never showed any concern for this child.Her only concern was to win that case at any cost no matter who was hurt be it Dannilynn or anyone else IMO.If in fact she did clean up LB she should be charged with fraud from child services.She would have been the one to follow thru on everything.I believe LB is telling the truth when he says she gave confidencial info to Rita Cosby but it would be tough to prove for either party.We know by the book that the two are close freinds so what else would either say about the other.I think he owes her some money but she had no right to hold the money that is on hold and the amount she charged was way out of line.We all were expecting this as she would have no other choice to try and save her practice.Another law suit to keep these two men off center and busy protecting themselves and Dannilynn.

When she called Howard K. Stern a MURDERER in court was the FIRST time I thought that Ms. Opri discredited herself. I wasn’t sure if it was a rumor at the time, but then later it was confirmed by you, Art.
I really don’t think she needs any help from Larry or anyone else to look bad. Her reputation speaks VOLUMES everytime she opens her mouth for any reason!!!!

I don’t know what we would do without you. Deb Opri should go play at Michael Vick’s house. I think that would solve all our problems. Tell Howard, Larry and Dannielynn that they will always have our support. Now we see what poor Anna went through. Thank God for Howard. He is truly an amazing man, and I wish him all the best. Someday he might get to enjoy a day and hopefully that is soon when O’Quinn, Cosby and the rest of the gang is finally stopped in their tracks. Howard we you and take care of yourself, it seems Dannielynn and Larry are going to need you more than you know.

I believe that LB is the more credible person here. Wasn’t Debra Opri fired by Pamela Bach, who is David Hasselhoff’s ex? She also revealed personal infformation
from paternity court documents involving LB, including the condition of an apartment he was living in that she had no business discussing. She also put money of his into one of her accounts, and tried to bill him AGAIN with a big over-inflated bill, which included her husband’s dry-cleaning bill, and a lot of other items for which he was not responsible. I hope LB takes her her to court, and wins in any court battle with her. I hope he wins big time. Then after that, Debra Opri can dry up and blow away.

I truly can’t believe the unprofessionalism of this person who I would think has taken certain ‘oaths’ in her legal profession.

I just read on a website that some of the other issues Debra Opri is suing on are:

I believe in my heart that Virgie, O’Quinn, Opri, Cosby and others what a piece of Anna/Dannielynn’s money!
Larry has every right to have articles/pictures of her, this is to help pay all the bodyguards, ect… to keep her safe from these people! He keeps the publicity for his baby girl ‘at bay’ in a ‘controlled’ environment, and no one knows if there will ever be a penny from the Marshall estate! This he said she said and they said will never end. She can donate whatever she wants however there is a conflict of interest here…her relationship with Crosby is a tad to close for comfort for me..
example it was Crosby who introed Larry to Opri, It was Crosby who wrote the book and it was Opri who felt compelled to take monies belonging to Birkhead from the NBC contract, where as we all know that is where Crosby worked.
Need I say more, Ms Opri, your lipstick is on your teeth and it is smudged fix it before you appear with a sloppy mouth.
In other words in case you did not get this message your lawyering is very sloppy as are your bills and contacts, clean it up before you are disbarred, and disgraced.
One other note, I don’t trust that sperm doner Larry either, he went from one side to another and his days are numbered too, do not be surprised if Howie ends up with Dannilynn. The court will be shown alot of documents substantiating this evidence and I smell settlement, and as of now so far there are no viable lawsuits suing Crosby yet, wonder why?
If something smells bad, it usually does this suing is just a deviation from what is really going on, I pray a judge sees through this mess. Look who is getting all the attention lately LARRY not howie, Larry should be very worried I would if I was in his shoes,I would stay very low profile. If what Crosby said in her book is true he is now with holding evidence from the court about Daniel and Anna Nicole’s deaths, keeping a secret gay life,and living la dolce vita. You know what? These two deserve each other. They are two sides of the same coin IMO. I notice they both like to launch media attacks and spin the bits and pieces of the truth to best fit their agenda. I say let them have at it, there are much more important things in this saga than who paid for who’s food and who told what to whom first. As far as I’m concerned they’re both dirty, if they weren’t they wouldn’t have been dealing with each other as long as they did. I said it before and I’ll say it again, Opri is an abnoxious disgrace to the legal field, but she was like that when Larry hired her, and she kept on being like that as he worked with her, and she was like that after he fired her. If she’s nothing else she’s consistently brash and acerbic, and he knew that from the get go. I don’t believe he owes her the full bill, but I also don’t believe he owes her nothing. She created “Larry Birkhead: Celebrity Baby Daddy” so he ought to pay her for it. I am exceeding happy she’s getting embarrassed the way she is though, that’s what she gets for doing it to Anna and Howard for as long as she did.

in reference to what missy m weeps for anna says, she doesnt trust debra or larry. she referred to him as a sperm donor. do u believe dannielynn would be better off with vergie? she didn’t even take care of anna. she hadn’t seen her daughter since 1994. she stated this on the witness stand in florida.so who side are you on? i also read your comment under the article of concerning john oquinn. he isn’t on the witness list, he didn’t even know daniel. vergie isn’t on the witness list, so what is this so call evidence that will be reveal? you also say someone will pay for daniel death. who would that be? but at the end of your email you stated nothing would come out of the inquest, it is just to quiet the masses. you can’t have it both ways. so which one is it?

larry isn’t withholding evidence, he wasn’t there when anna died. the only information he is giving in the bahamas is based on the time he spent with anna and daniel.
fs and gbt are the ones who kept changing their stories. i truly believed howard was the father, i wanted him to be the father of dl. i was never really a lb fan until he started working with howard for the best interest of his daughter. he is also allowing howard contact with dl because for seven months he thought she was his. these two men have put their difference aside for dannielynn. i applaud these two men. everyone is trying to bring them down, but howard and larry please stay strong anna and dannielynn need you. we know that vergie , oquinn, opri and rita are the ones with motives here. so are fs and gbt.

Debra thinks she has trouble with Larry? Well, wait until she is up against Howard in court. He is not done with her! Maybe he is saving the “best for last” with a defamation suit against her. - He just hasn’t gotten to her yet.
Also, I looked at the old legal filings… I think it is one from June 2 - the first one that Larry filed - and while he did not name Rita Cosby, he did say that in that document that he was shocked when the MSNBC reporter (in an interview) starting asking him questions that were from confidential documents in the possession of Opri. - So this is the same thing he is saying now - so why wasn’t Opri outraged then?
Opri should settle before she falls any further in her career.

I believe Opri and Virgie was one main reason for Anna needing drugs to help her get through the day. Opri and Virgie didn’t let Anna even mourn for her son before they were out in the press going after her. She didn’t even get to enjoy her daughter without pain of these people. Not to mention Shelly and Tompson making sure they took a peice of her also. Opri is a dirty attorney. I remember Anna on ET saying for Larry to bring it to the Bahamas and she would do a DNA there, but NO Opri keep it in Calif so she could be in the line light in front of cameras. If anyone hires this women has to be nuts. I blame all these people for Anna death.

Opri and Burkhead were a great team when together. None of us are close to forgetting what a great team were. They had no problem in their attempts to destroy Anna and Howard so now they are destroying each other. He owes her though. She did exactly what he asked her to do. Deduct the personal expenses for her husband and he owes her the rest of that bill. I personally despise both of them and I will until I can somehow forget the way they treated Anna and Howard. Howard was at the lowest point of his life in that Florida courtroom and they just kept coming at him - Opri saying he murdered Anna, etc. and Burkhead doing everything is his power to make Howard look like a fool - trying to make himself look like the all important person in Anna’s life and having us think that Howard was just a servant to Anna. We all knew better then and now. Opri and Burkhead are dangerous people so let them have a go at destroying each other. I have yet to deside which of them I despise more. Guess Howard will have to help Larry clean up this mess too - and he will, because he has the skills, knowledge and the heart of the only decent person involved in this entire mess.

EJ….I know. Larry is the lesser of two evils and I understand why Howard supports him - he was not left with a choice. I support Howard in any decision he makes and I understand the logic, but still…. It’s not that I think Larry will be a TOTALLY unfit father but Howard has proven himself to be the better man and Dannielynn deserves a father like Howard. In a perfect world she would be with him. The idea that Virgie might somehow gain custody is the only reason that I could ever, EVER be willing to say that I support Larry and I am forced to say that I do support him.

EJ I am with you It kind of puts one in a not so good place where some things are concerned.You don’t quite know what to say on some matters because HKS is supporting LB against VA at this time and that is the most important thing at this time.DO giving money to charity IMO she thinks or rather was told by her pr team to do or rather say this to the media.when all is said and done I hope she gets just what is comming to her.

LOL, yes, we do know that’s a crock. As for Virgie getting custody of Dannielynn. It isn’t going to happen, as long as Larry takes good care of that baby. Even if he would lose custody for some reason, I don’t believe any judge would even consider putting that baby anywhere near Virgie.
Just look at her track record. Someone who leaves a loaded gun laying about so her three year old son could get it and shoot himself with, and someone who tied her daughter to the bed post, not to mention the horrible things her one husband did to Anna, is not one who would ever be given custody of someone else’s baby. Unless, of course, Seidlin was the judge, then anything would go.

I support fairness truth and justice. This site seems very biased. One sided shall I say. One of many good things I can say about DO is that she does what she says. The Suit is filled in California. This is the woman who took LB out of the Slime of the Paparazzi and cleaned him up to be the All American , only hoping to hold and love his daughter. She fought tooth and nail for him. She had me convinced. I supported Larry 100 percent. This will probably not get posted on this biased site. Cause I don’t support him now. Yes I believe that Larry is Exploiting this child that was born addicted. DL is a victim of that circumstance and will suffer the consequences of it the rest of her life.

Vd doctors seem to disagree with you about DL being born addicted. In case you haven’t notice Art lets in all posters as long as they arn’t telling lies ect.What DO claims she did for LB is her downfall IMO.How was it in DL’s best interest to have her mother trashed all over the media.DO IMO did the same to pamala’s childre,she did not care about the childrens welfare only winning a case.

Larry will never get my support, no way, no how. He’d have to change into a complete different person, in order for me to even think about supporting him. I just wish he’d stop using that baby to make money. Why doesn’t make money on his own.

Anne, I know what you mean and I refuse to be coerced into anything lol. We are entitled to our opinions as much as anyone else is. If anyone wants to support Larry, that is fine with me, but they don’t have to try to make me feel like I can’t support Howard without supporting Larry. I can and I do.

I have been sending letters to the opinion and editor of both the Bahmana journal and the Bahama guardian espicially since I read about Debra Opri sending that letter to the paper.i read the letter she sent and she omits anything about wanting 10% from media and picture deals.She just says LB doesn’t want what she knows to come out and to pull more wool over peoples eyes that she would give any money from the defamation(ONLY) to missing and exploited children.No poke there was there?I jsut hope the people in the Bahamas can see what these people are trying to do

If Larry wants to sell pictures and interviews of himself, then that’s what he should do. Let him sell pictures of JUST him. I have a feeling they wouldn’t sell and that’s why I believe he puts the baby in them. I have the feeling these magazines wouldn’t pay him the slightest bit of attention without that baby. He knew this.

Opri needs to get her stories straight. In various court filings Opri claims she had to clean Larry up for the custody case. She claims his apartment wasn’t fit to live in so she had to clean it up, baby proof it and set up the nursery. She claims that Larry was more interested in being in front of the camera and the money he could get from media deals than he was in Dannielynn. She claims to have worked with Dannielynn’s best interest from the beginning and even now still says she wants what is best for Dannielynn’s. If all these things that she claims are true about Larry then why would she have taken his case to begin with? Why would she want to help to place a child in the custody of a man that she felt this way about? Is Opri only concerned about Dannielynn when it fits her own purposes?
